Shawn Kennedy - This match is set for one fall, with no time limit, and is for the IWO World Heavyweight Title!!! Now making his way to the ring at this time, weighing in at 295 pounds, from Ann Arbor, Michigan, a member of The Dynasty, and YOUR IWO World Heavyweight Champion....Pagan!!!
[(Lightning flickers across the black background of the IWO Jumbo Tron, accompanied by the sound of thunder...the fans rise, as four skulls, one in each corner, appear on the screen...Suddenly, Saliva's "Click, Click, Boom" hits as Pagan appears, holding the IWO Title aloft...he walks to the ring.. ]
Shawn - And his opponent, weighing in at 264 pounds, from New York City, also a member of The Dynasty, Jack...The Ripper...Vargas!!!
[The crowd cheers as "Chop Suey" by System of A Down hits the speakers, and Jack "The Ripper" Vargas appears, being accompanied, as usual, by the lovely Regina...he holds her hand gently as he makes his way down the ramp to the ring and climbs in...]
Brian- And there's the bell and here we go! Both men are circling each other and sizing each other up! Surely Alex Watson is loving this! Two members of The Dynasty, having to beat the pulp out of each other!! We've got action! Jack Vargas is hit with a backward kick! Now Jack Vargas, standing back up, and fires back with a series of right hands! Here's Vargas now, running into the ropes...spinning neckbreaker! Here's a quick cover! 1.....kickout!
Tim- It's gonna take a whole hell of a lot more than that to put the Champ away! Jack Vargas puts Pagan in an arm grapevine submission! He's really rocking into it, but Pagan seems to be smiling! He's enjoying it! Pagan, draping a leg off the ropes! Roger Corey makes Vargas break the hold! Both men back to their feet now, and Pagan is smiling at Vargas and nodding! It looks like Pagan is saying, "Okay, now it's my turn."! Pagan blasts Vargas with a left! There's a right! Knee lift by the champ! Vargas is down! Here's Pagan now, picking up Vargas...OOOHH!! T-Bone suplex from Pagan! Here's a cover! 1...kickout by Vargas! Pagan is up and smiling again, and it looks like it's going to get serious now!
Brian- Hell yeah, Tim, I think the message from Pagan is that playtime is OVER. Here's the lockup now! Vargas, tossing Pagan to the ropes! Vargas sets up for the back bodydrop! Pagan counters with a spike DDT!! He's on top of Vargas now! Rights and lefts peppering Vargas like a storm!! Pagan with the challenger now, gets him into position...Powerbomb!! Hooks the leg! 1....2...kickout by Vargas! Vargas with a quick thumb to the eye as Pagan went to pick him up!
Tim- What a cheater!! Vargas now, with some stiff forearms to the point of the chin! Vargas sending Pagan to the corner! Follows him in with a stiff clothesline! Pagan goes to one knee as Vargas springs to the second rope! Vargas drops the leg across the back of Pagan's head, sending the champ to the mat!! Vargas looking at the crowd for a moment, now running to the ropes, and drops a stiff elbow to the back of Pagan! And another! And a third! Here's another cover! 1....2....kickout! Vargas can't believe it! Roger Corey's count was even, and he only got two, then Pagan kicked out!
Brian- Pagan is back to his knees! Here comes Vargas, right into the fist to the stomach! Pagan is back up, kicking Vargas in the gut! Here's the champ, running to the ropes...Bulldog!! He caught Vargas flush on that one!! Listen to this crowd! They are starting to cheer for the champ! Pagan picks up Jack Vargas...spins him around...Hammerlock Suplex! Pagan is all over Jack Vargas now! There's a Gutwrench Suplex! Vargas is hurting!! Pagan following up with a running kick to the ribs! And another! Pagan picking up Vargas, sets him up...Shoulderbreaker!! That could be the start of setting up Vargas for Pagan's finisher, The Final Rite!!
Tim- Vargas is clutching that shoulder, and Regina looks really worried on the outside! Pagan picking Vargas back up now, OW!!! VARGAS WITH A LOW BLOW!! The ref never saw it as Pagan hits his knees!! Vargas now, running to the ropes and dropkicks Pagan right in the face!! Cover! 1.....2.....thr...kickout! WOW! That was close! Vargas now, applying a front facelock to Pagan! Roger Corey is asking Pagan, who is saying he won't give up! Vargas spins around now, rubbing Pagan's face in the mat, and looks a little frustrated! Vargas picks Pagan up and tosses him into the corner! Vargas now....GORE!!! GORE!! GORE!!!!
Brian- Easy there, Tim Heyman! Jack Vargas now is in control, after that perfect spear on Pagan! He shoulderblocks Pagan in the gut! And again! Pagan with a desperate haymaker! He missed, and Vargas catches him in a picture perfect belly-to-back suplex!! Vargas now, signaling for it!! He makes his way to the top rope! The fans are on their feet!
Tim- NO!
Brian- Vargas strips his shirt off and waves it in the air! He flies!! JACKPOT!! JACKPOT!! Here's the cover!! 1......2.....thr..kickout!! HOW THE HELL DID PAGAN KICK OUT OF THAT!??!!? Vargas can't believe it! He's up and shoves Roger Corey! Roger Corey warns Vargas, who is screaming at him! Regina is on the ring apron! Now Pagan is sliding himself out of the ring!
Tim- That's some smart thinking from the champ! He's getting his wind back after that serious pounding he took from Vargas, and while the challenger is arguing with the ref, Pagan gets to collect himself! Pagan now, he lies down outside the ring! He's playing possum! Vargas has just noticed that Pagan is not in the ring! He checks outside, and sees Pagan laying near the ringsteps! Out of the ring goes Vargas! He's walking over to Pagan to collect him!
Brian- But Pagan grabs Jack's tights and pulls him facefirst into the ringsteps! Vargas is busted open and woozy! Pagan picks up Vargas and tosses him into the ring! Vargas is bleeding all over the place! Pagan now, tosses Vargas into the ropes! THE FINAL RITE!! THE FINAL RITE! Is Vargas going to give?? Pagan wraps his legs and takes Vargas down to the mat with The Final Rite locked in! Roger Corey is asking!
Tim- Vargas won't give! He's got a foot on the ropes! How the hell did he do that?? Pagan breaks the hold! VARGAS WITH THE QUICK INSIDE CRADLE!! 1.......2...............3!!!!!!!!!! JACK VARGAS DID IT!
Shawn- Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner...and NEW IWO World Heavyweight Champion...Jack...The Ripper...VARGAS!!!
(Jack Vargas wipes the blood from his eyes and sinks to his knees as Roger Corey hands him the IWO World Title...Regina rolls into the ring and hugs Vargas, getting some blood on her clothes in the process...Pagan get's up, looking disgusted with himself, and watches the scene for a moment...he walks over and grabs Vargas b the hair, picking him up...Vargas drops the belt and balls up his fists...Pagan smiles, then picks Jack up in a bearhug, laughing and spinning him around...Pagan sets Vargas down, hands him the IWO Title, and leaves as "Chop Suey" by System Of A Down hits the speakers...)
Brian- Well, fans, Jack Vargas is the new IWO World Champ!! That's the conclusion of a wild night, but things are going to get interesting as we move closer and closer to IWO Resolutions, our next SuperCard! What challenge will The Dynasty face from the Executive Board next Powerslam?? Will Cameron Dace ever realize that his driver's name is not Biffington? Will Alex Watson ever realize his dream of stamping out The Dynasty? We'll find out more next week, live from Oakland, California! Goodnight!!
