The scene opens up in the backstage area for the Xplosion later tonight. The cameras are rolling around and wrestlers are getting ready for the show. A few minutes later a camera picks up Rey Mysterio walking down a hallway. Then a guy comes from behind him and Rey looks back as the guy speaks.
The Guy: Hey, Rey how is your ankle doing?
Rey Mysterio: No bad at all doc. I did what you told me to do and I can pretty much walk better too!
Male Trainer: That’s good to hear Rey. How was the party for your son?
Rey Mysterio: Well, I actually cancelled the day before because some of my family couldn’t make and also people already called to say that they couldn’t come too. I talk to them all and just rescheduled for this weekend so I hope everything will work out this time.
Male Trainer: It will probably be fine but now let me take a look at that ankle.
Rey Mysterio: Okay!
{The trainer gets down on one knee and felt around the ankle area and also checking for any other problems on the ankle. After a couple of minutes the trainer gets up.}
Male Trainer: I didn’t see or feel anything and it looks like you are about 100% again. Still take it easy tonight if you can but win too! You are one of the top faces here and we can have you hurt this early in the company.
Rey Mysterio: I know but I’m going to go stretch my legs and get ready for my match.
Male Trainer: I wish you the best of luck tonight!
Rey Mysterio: Thanks, man but I can care less about this match because this match doesn’t mean much to me as all the other ones. I won’t mind if I’m the first or somewhere in the middle or if I do win be the last one in. One way or another I will be the last one to survive the match!
Male Trainer: That’s great to hear coming from you Rey but take care and good luck from now until the PPV.
Rey Mysterio: Thanks man and you can count on me! I’ll probably soon but not too soon though.
{Rey shook the guy’s hand and he walk towards his locker room. The trainer goes the other way to the training room!}
The EWF scene starts to fade out to hype some of the matches for tonight show. Then they had some commercials they ran to pay the bills too!
The scene comes back with the cameras zooming around the arena area with some people coming into the arena. Then the camera had back to the backstage area again and it heads to the locker room area of some wrestlers. They come across Rey Mysterio’s room with a lot of sound coming from it. The cameraman opens up the door to see what is going on and there were six televisions going at once. Three of them were Rey’s matches he’s been in leading up tonight! The other three were D-Bio White, Kurt Angle, and Xtreme Aussie recent promos showing. Then finally Rey is seen stretching his legs out and watch the tv sets. Rey stands up and turns all of them off! He goes to get a bottle of water that was setting on the floor where he was at a few moments ago. He takes a few sips of it before speaking!
Rey Mysterio: Kurt, where oh where do I begin with you man! I mean we have battled each other for so many damn years and we talk just about the same shit over and over. I also notice that you don’t care about this match either just like me. I mean it is almost like we are a like one of another. One thing separates us is that I tell the truth and live by it unlike you do! I’m sorry to hear your mom is in the hospital but that doesn’t mean I will go easy on you. You did try to end my career that last few times with that submission hold of yours. I’m coming for you man. Now, Graveyard I notice that you got your way back into the title picture into the biggest match ever here in the EWF. I don’t know what to say or expect from you considering I kicked your ass with a little help from ex-partner Kurt Angle at the first Xplosion. Here we are meeting again this time it will be a lot easier to do but I will have to be more careful as well. I have no idea what you may try to do considering what you did to Syndrome and I really don’t want to have any part of that. Moving on to Shane Michaels! The last few matches we have had, we all got familiar with each other here in the EWF. It’s too bad Frozen won’t be in the match this time to help you win or lose it for you.
(Rey finishes drinking the bottle of water and throws it into the trash can. He goes to the bath room and washes his hands and ties his mask. He continues to talk for a few more minutes!)
Rey Mysterio: I thought it was pretty funny that three guys couldn’t beat a helpless injury guy and another guy! I guess that’s just how things goes these days I mean you think you are going to win something when you have the upper hand but then bam it’s all over. You lose! I wish you three the best of luck because I’m coming after you guys very strong and quick. I will be in the ring with two people I haven’t been in the ring with except last week. I have watched you guys evolved to become better wrestlers each and every match you guys have here in the EWF. First D-Bio I didn’t like you for some reason but after watching you it maybe think how good you can be once you reach the highest point of your career here. I can’t to find out first hand what you are made up but just don’t get in my way. I hate to beat the hell out of a nice guy like your self! Finally, there is AJ Styles I admire a lot as long as he has good head on his shoulders. AJ if you need anything or want some pointers don’t hesitate to ask! I know what you can do in the ring and I can’t to see them very closely the first time tonight. Then I will know what all five of my opponents can do in the ring before the PPV. It will be very different when the Elimination Chambers itself will be in play! I will see all five of you very soon and the time is ticking for you all to feel the 6…1…9 and the West Coast Pop!
Rey walks to his dressing room door and leaves heading towards the ring area. The cameras follow him as much as they could before the EWF take another commercail break!
