The Match
The first of four championship matches, and it was all high-risk offense from the first bell. All three men gave their all in this cruiserweight spectacle with awe-inspiring offense and innovative counters. Trogdor even went as far as using his own body as a weapon as he launched himself from the top turnbuckle and cross-bodied both Wisdom and Chung out in the first row of the ringside crowd! In the end, however, Johnny Wisdom would prove himself not a better wrestler, but an opportunistic wrestler as he capitalized on Trogdor eliminating himself and Wang Chung from action with a hard-hitting superplex. As Trogdor lay gripping his neck, Johnny Wisdom rushed into the ring and made a cover on the down and out Wang Chung to recapture the coveted cruiserweight championship for a second reign at the top. As Johnny paraded out of the arena, joined by Primetime, Trogdor assured the fans that his time as cruiserweight champion would come again. And for Wisdom, it is only a matter of time before the end comes.
Following an ad for the up and coming EBWF CD, “Full Throttle”, World Heavyweight Champion Malice arrived at the arena with Jerry Biggs by his side. Malice lay the title belt over his suitcase and walked away leaving Biggs to take a look at the title and sigh with unmistakable worry.
Elsewhere in the arena, Chloe Lane talked strategy with her new agent, Titus Sinclair. The pair was soon abruptly interrupted as Emily came from nowhere and hammered Chloe across the back with the women’s championship. Titus was shoved aside by black shirt security as ordered by Emily as she jerked and yanked Chloe about the backstage area by her hair, slamming her into the wall and other objects on route to the ring.
Emily came out onto the stage with a mic in one hand and a handful of Chloes’ hair in the other. As she dragged Chloe down to the ring, she shouted to the fans that Chloe was a joke as a contender and that she would embarrass the “ignorant teen” in a pure wrestling clinic. With that, she tossed Chloe into the ring and demanded that the match start.
