Taylor Vain vs. Junior Blayze

North American Title ladder match

The Story
Back when Sean James was the North American champion, a ladder match ensued between himself and Junior Blayze, which resulted in a no contest when both men pulled the title off the chain from the top. Thus the title was vacated and a triple threat match was signed to bring out a new champion. But before the match, Junior Blayze talked officials into giving him a rematch since his title match ended in no contest. Thus, the triple threat ladder match between Taylor Vain, Maxx, and Havoc ended up being a number one contendership match. So instead of grabbing the title, Taylor ended up grabbing a contract which gave him the right to face Junior Blayze in a "return of the North American Championship" matchup. And just to continue with the tradition of the past few matches, this match was signed as a ladder match.

The Match
A match hyped from the very first time the coveted North American Championship was declared vacant, it was only a matter of time before the title would find a champion once again, and on this night, it would be Taylor Vain and Junior Blayze fighting and climbing a ladder for that prestigious honor. A bought that may have stolen the show, Junior and Taylor poured on the offense with ruthless aggression. Neither man would quit as they nearly hammered each other into unconsciousness at one point. With innovative ladder usage and all around environment mayhem, both men were bloodied and beaten at matches end. Taylor Vain was pinned to the mat by the ladder as Junior ascended each rung with purpose, to snatch the North American Championship. Junior soon collapsed off the ladder with his newly won title, a title he fought for months to earn. His pride overwhelming his fatigue, Junior shot up and leaped to the top turnbuckle to celebrate a win in a star-studded match for the record books.

In a four-way split screen, all four teams competing or defending the World Tag Team titles were shown warming up or making last minute preparations as commentary told their story.
