Richard - “Ladies and gentlemen. Your guest announcer and timekeeper for the main event, the Beast.”
Distubed’s “Violence Fetish” hits the speakers the demon of the deep walks out, League Title around his waist. The ring crew works as he comes out to replace the ring ropes with barbed wire.
the Beast - “The following is the main event. The match will occur with barbed wire rope and all weapons allowed. No interference is allowed and neither competitor may be disqualified. Up for grabs, the managerial contract of Angel and the LSW World Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, being accompanied to the ring by his manager Syd, ‘The One Man Boyband’ Chris Cortez.”
Chris and Syd make their way out to the ring.
the Beast - “Introducing next, he is being accompanied to the ring by Angel. Standing 6 foot 7 and weighing in at 254 pounds, the holder of the Lost Soul Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship, the Devil Assassin, Killjoy.”
‘Here to Stay’ by Korn plays through the arena. Killjoy and Angel come to the ring.
Kylie - “This is going to be the most vicious match we have all witnessed in the LSW to date. Injuries are only an inevitability tonight.”
Ernie - “Right you are Kylie. Killjoy and Cortez are already heavily taped up around their hands and wrists. But barbed wire can dig into any part of the body. And don’t forget...mwahahaha...weapons.”
The ref calls for the bell. Cortez and Killjoy meet in the center of the ring with a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Chris powers Killjoy down to his knees and the referee calls for the break. Cortez backs off, but stares straight at Killjoy, as if to say ‘I’ve got your number this time.’ Killjoy stands back up and Cortez makes a running dive at him. Killjoy drops him with a drop toe hold. Both men get back up and proceed to lock up with a high finger lace. Killjoy all of the sudden takes Chris down with an armbar, twists it into a hammerlock, and then slaps Cortez upside the head. The ref calls for the break once again.
Killjoy - “Remember Chris. Three steps ahead.”
Kylie - “This so far has only been a game of one-upmanship. Both men just maybe up to the task.”
Cortez gets up and Killjoy grabs his arm to shoot him to the ropes...er, barbed wire. Cortez is able to stop himself from going face first into the barbed monstrosity. Chris turns around and charges at Killjoy and delivers a spear. Cortez then starts to punch at Killjoy’s face. The referee calls for a break. Chris gets up, and then picks up Killjoy. Cortez shoots Killjoy to the ropes...er, barbed wire with an Irish whip. Killjoy goes back first into the barbs.
Ernie - “And Boyband has the first big hit.”
Kylie - “That’s right, Ernie. That is a decisive blow in favour of Chris Cortez.”
Ernie - “Uh, Kylie, little girl...Ernie was talking. Don’t interrupt.”
Cortez walks over to where Killjoy is in the barbed wire and hits Killjoy with a couple of knife-edged chops. He then gets in Killjoy’s face.
Chris Cortez - “Three steps ahead? Huh? More like 5 steps behind. Get in the game old man.”
Killjoy then out of nowhere headbutts Cortez and then struggles out of the barbed wire. He walks up behind a staggering Chris Cortez and executes an overhead suplex, sending Chris back first upside down into the ropes...er, barbed wire. Cortez just kind of melts down to the canvas.
Killjoy - “No. Still 3 steps ahead.”
Cortez rolls under the barbed wire out to ringside and goes to get a chair. Killjoy follows him, and goes to get the ring bell.
the Beast - “Touch the bell and you’ll regret it.”
Killjoy - “Quit screwing around. Give me the damn bell.”
the Beast - “I’m not kidding. You’ll regret it.”
Killjoy starts to pick up the ring bell, but gets hit in the back with a chairshot from Cortez.
the Beast - “Told ya you’d regret it.”
Killjoy, quite annoyed now, turns around to face Cortez. Chris raises the chair to swing again. Killjoy anticipates the swing and hits a side kick straight to the chair and into Cortez’s forehead. Killjoy takes the chair Chris had and another chair and tosses them into the ring. He then scours for a ladder and slides that into the ring. He then picks Chris back up and rolls him into the ring, following close behind. Cortez has already gotten up as Killjoy enters the ring. He hits a DDT on Killjoy onto one of the chairs. Cortez then places Killjoy in the middle of the ring with a chair on top of him. Chris takes the ladder and sets it up in one of the corners. Cortez goes to the top of the ladder and sets up for a body splash. While Chris is in mid-flight, Killjoy brings his knees in, with the chair on top of them. Chris sees this but can’t avoid the contact. Cortez doubles up as he hits. Killjoy puts the chair aside and rolls over on top of Chris for the pin attempt...1...but Cortez kicks out. Outside of the ring, Syd is seen starting to cut some of the barbed wire down. Both men are laid out in the ring, so Syd is able to get one side of the ring cleared of the barbed wire before they get up. Syd then goes and gets a table and begins to set it up on the outside. Cortez, seeing this, tries to whip Killjoy in that direction to send him flying into the table. Killjoy reverses the whip and sends Chris out. The table wasn’t quite set up yet, so Cortez just tumbles to the floor. Killjoy goes and hops out of the ring. He flinches at Syd, who drops the table and retreats around to the other side of the ring. Killjoy then sets up the table and places Chris Cortez on top of it.
Ernie - “Violence. Gotta love it. This has got to be the end of the Boyband right here.”
Kylie - “Come on ref. Stop this match for God sakes.”
Killjoy gets some of the cut barbed wire and climbs back in the ring. He wraps the barbed wire around his legs, then takes a running start from the opposite side of the ring. Killjoy goes flying with an intended leg drop, but Cortez rolls out of the way at the last second. Chris gets on Killjoy and starts delivering punches. Killjoy fights back though. Killjoy ends up back on his feet. He catches Cortez with a kick to the gut, then hits the Dark Destiny. Killjoy then goes to work. He sets up another table on the outside with the ladder on top of it. Killjoy then wraps up Cortez with barbed wire and places him on top and in-line with the ladder, which is perpendicular with the table. Killjoy grabs more barbed wire and climbs back in the ring. He takes the extra barbed wire and wraps himself with it, in addition to the barbed wire from earlier. Taking a running start, Killjoy goes flying with a leg drop. Killjoy and Chris Cortez both crash through the table and the ladder. Both men attempt to struggle to their feet, Killjoy the one with obviously more strength at this time. Both men have a hard time getting up because they are both entangled in the barbed wire.
Ernie - “You can do nothing but love this bloody action. Both men are lacerated in almost every possible place on their bodies.”
Killjoy and Chris both finally are able to get back into the ring. Killjoy rolls over on top of Cortez. 1...2...but Chris kicks out, albeit a weak kick out. Killjoy puts Cortez’s shoulders back on the mat. 1...2...3.
the Beast - “The winner in 24 minutes and 13 seconds, and still LSW World Heavyweight Champion, KILLJOY!”
