LSW PPV: Asylum - 11/26/02

Richard - "The following match is a Shackles Match! The rules are simple, both men a chained to each other by 1 10 foot shackle and the first one to touch each turnbuckle in succession is the winner."

"Sexy Boy" by World Wrestling Entertainment begins to play as Chris Cortez and Syd walk down to the ring. All the way, Cortez plays with the chain that will bind them during the match.

Richard - "Introducing first. Making his way to the ring with his manager, Syd. The leader of the new generation of wrestling. Standing 5'9" tall and weighing in at 185 pounds. The current undisputed LSW World Heavyweight champion. CHRIS CORTEZ!!!"

Syd holds open the ropes for Cortez as he enters the ring. Cortez jumps onto a turnbuckle and starts trying to get the fans behind him. The crowd that supports the new generation starts cheering while the ones who support the UWA boo. The music changes to "Die Mother Fucker Die" by Dope. The UWA crowd cheers while the new gen fans boo. Hardcore Wreck walks through the curtains and heads down to the ring.

Richard - "And his opponent. Making his way to the ring at this time. Representing the UWA. Standing 6'3" tall and weighing in at 257 pounds. The current undisputed LSW UK Pride champion. HARDCORE WRECK!!!"

Wreck jumps into the ring. The referee attaches Wreck to the other end of the shackles. He then steps back and calls for the bell to begin the match.

< Ding, Ding, Ding. >

Both men grab the chain and get a good foot hold. Cortez makes a break for the nearest turnbuckle, but Wreck pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Cortez gets up and Wreck yanks on the chain and sends Cortez right at him. Wreck catches Cortez and connects with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Wreck yanks again and brings Cortez and in hits with a drop toe hold. Wreck spins on Cortez's back and slaps him on the back of the head. Wreck gets up and taunts Cortez.

Kylie - "Wreck is really showing his experience. Even though Cortez is the World champion, he still doesn't have the experience that Hardcore Wreck has."

Ernie - "Plus. He likes the whole chains thing."

Kylie - "Your sick."

Ernie - "You said that last week."

Cortez gets up and motions for a test of strength. Wreck looks to the crowd and they cheer for it. Wreck puts his hand up in start the test, but Cortez kick Wreck in the gut and hits with a sit down DDT. Cortez gets to his feet and head towards the turnbuckle, but Wreck grabs him by the leg and trips him. Wreck picks up Cortez and lifts him up in a suplex, he changes it in mid-move into a piledriver. Wreck walks over to the nearest turnbuckle and taps it with his hand.

Kylie - "Wreck draws first blood by tapping the turnbuckle."

Ernie - "What the hell does tapping a turnbuckle have to do with drawing blood."

Kylie - "Does it really matter?"

Ernie - "Yes, I think it does."

Wreck walks back over to Cortez and lifts him up. Wreck whips Cortez into the ropes but Cortez reverses it and sends Wreck into the ropes and hits with a kneeling clothesline. Cortez pick up Wreck and slams him hard to the mat. Cortez walks over to a turnbuckle and tap on it. He then heads for the next one but Wreck uses the strap to pull him back to the middle of the ring and into a "Wreck Bottom". Wreck then head to a turnbuckle and tap it. He then taps a third. As Wreck goes to tap the final turnbuckle, Syd jumps onto the apron, grabs Wreck and nails him with a brass knuckle loaded right hand, sending Wreck down in a heap. Cortez is able to crawl over to a turnbuckle and give it a tap, then a second and a third. But before he can tap the final one, Wreck grabs him by the leg and drags him back into the middle of the ring.

Ernie - "Come on Chris! Just hit him with the power of the punch and win this thing."

Kylie - "At 3 a piece, this will come down to who wants it more."

Wreck climbs up on Cortez and tries to punch him. Cortez ducks it and goes behind Wreck and places him in a sleeper hold. With his last bit of strength, Wreck is able to wrap the chain around Cortez's neck. Both men slowly fade out. Syd jumps into the ring and tries to drag Cortez towards the final turnbuckle but the referee cuts him off. Syd can only watch as Wreck starts to get up. Cortez slowly follows and it end up with both men on their feet. Cortez goes near the ropes where Syd tries to lead him to the final turnbuckle. Wreck runs over and clotheslines Cortez, sending Syd off the apron. Cortez stumbles back and connects with a clothesline of his own to Wreck. Cortez grabs Wreck by the legs and tosses him into a corner. The second Wreck hits the turnbuckle, the referee calls for the bell.

Richard - "The winner of the match. HARDCORE WRECK!!!"

Cortez starts shouting and stamping around because he caused Wreck to win. Cortez goes over and starts stomping away on Wreck. Security runs down to the ring and drags Cortez, kicking and screaming, away from the ring.
