LSW TRTN - 11/19/02

Richard - "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Blind Willies. This is the first match of tonight's proceedings and it's set for one fall with a 20 minute time limit."

"So Hardcore" by Busta Rhymes begins to play as Buster Payne makes his return to TRTN with his manager, Jake Briggs. You can hear a pin drop because this crowd is dead. But Payne ignores this and heads to the ring.

Richard - "Introducing first. Making his way to the ring with his manager, Jake Briggs. Standing 6'4" tall and weighing in at 212 pounds. BUSTER PAYNE!!"

Still no reaction from the crowd as Payne tries to get the crowd into his return. A moment later, he gives up and waits for his opponent to arrive. "Sexy Boy" by World Wrestling Entertainment begins to play and the Cortez side of the crowd goes nuts while the UWA side boo as loud as they can. Cortez steps out from behind the curtain with his manager, Syd, and his two new friends, RuinNation. All 4 men walk down to the ring together as Richard does the intro.

Richard - "And his opponent. Being led to the ring by his manager, Syd, and accompanied by RuinNation. Standing 5'9" tall and weighing in at 185 pounds. The current reigning Lost Soul Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion. "One Man Boy Band" CHRIS CORTEZ!!!"

RuinNation hold open the ropes for Cortez as he gets into the ring. Cortez climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and poses with the LSW World Heavyweight title belt. He then steps down and taunts Payne with the belt saying that he won't get a shot until he chooses a side. Payne responds with a slap to the face of Cortez. Cortez comes back with some punches of his own. The referee calls for the bell to begin the match.

Cortez is able to back Payne into the ropes before sending him across the ring. When Payne bounces back, Cortez scoops him up in a powerslam with a pin. 1...2...kick out by Payne. Cortez picks Payne up and whips him into the ropes. On the way back, Cortez knees Payne in the gut, then hits a DDT. Cortez climbs to the top rope and connects with an elbow drop. Cortez pick up Payne and sets him up for the "Chart Topper" but Payne flips Cortez onto his back and tosses him into the corner. Cortez stumbles back and Payne rolls Cortez up in a school boy pin. 1...2...kick out by Cortez.

Kylie - "How that Chris? One of the old guys almost sunck a win from under your pompus ass."

Ernie - "Kylie! How could you?"

Kylie - "Fuck you Ernie."

Ernie - "You wish."

Cortez rolls to his feet and waits for Payne to get to his. When Payne gets to his feet, Cortez connects with the "mic check" and then covers. 1...2...Cortez picks Payne up with a cocky smile on his face. Cortez slams Payne to the mat with a hard scoop slam. Cortez then drops a few elbows before going for the cover. 1...2...Cortez picks Payne off the mat again. The referee tells him to cover the man without picking him up again, but Cortez tells him to shut up. Then out of nowhere, the Beast comes into the ring without warning. He kicks Cortez in the gut and delivers Violence Consumed. He then dashes out through the crowd.

Kylie - "Is it just me or is that cocky prick Cortez even more cocky than usual?"

Ernie - "If you want to see cocky, just look under the desk."

Kylie - "Your sick."

Ernie - "Thank you."

Cortez recovers from that vicious tiger bomb and picks Payne up and whips him into the ropes. Payne reverses it and sends Cortez into the ropes and hits a huge spinebuster. The referee starts the down count. Cortez being the fresher man, starts to move first. He slowly gets to his feet and then staggers over to Payne and goes to pick him up but Payne rolls him up in a small package. 1...2...kick out by Cortez. Payne gets to his feet and pick up Cortez. Payne places Cortez in a hammerlock, then lifts him up in a suplex. Payne gets to his feet and gets ready to deliver the "Sadistic Horizon". Cortez rolls to his feet near the ropes and Syd slips him a pair of brass knuckles. Pariah jumps up onto the arpon while Penance walks around the ring and starts hammering away on Jake Briggs. The referee trys to get Pariah off the apron. Cortez levels Payne with the knuckles and tosses them back to Syd before going for the cover. 1...2...3.

Richard - "The winner of this match. CHRIS CORTEZ!!"

Penance rolls Briggs into the ring. RuinNation then attack Briggs while Cortez slaps on a Cobra Clutch on Payne. After knocking out their opponents, Cortez and co leave the ring and head backstage.
