Role Play Information

Characters Mentioned: Vertigo, Killjoy, the Beast and Others Briefly
Characters Used: Syd, Cameraman and Rove
Date: 10-26-02
Location: Chris Cortez's Dressing Room and Rove Live Stage

[Scene: The camera turns on in the backstage area at another edition to the Rove Live Show. Stage hands walk around in a hurry from room to room as the camera walks around, looking for something, or someone. Coming to a door with a giant star on it, the cameraman knocks as the door opens. The cameraman goes to walk in but Syd stops him in his tracks.]

Syd: Excuse ME, but my client is not ready at the moment. He will not be talking to any cameras or anyone from the media until AFTER he has appeared on the show, now-

[Suddenly, a women with a headset on walks up to Syd as Syd looks her up and down, then back at her face]

Syd: Are you another groupie come to wish Chris Cortez luck?

Women: Hardly. Im a stage hand here to tell Chris Cortez he's on in 2 minutes, so get ready.

[Syd nods as she walks away, the cameraman tries to get in the room but Syd stops him again]

Syd: I thought I told you that NO ONE will be speaking to MY client until AFTER the show! Now-

Chris Cortez: Will you please be quiet! Im trying to have a nap here!

[Syd swings open the door more as we see Chris Cortez laid out on a couch, looking in horrible shape, as he tries to sleep. Syd looks at the cameraman in anger]

Syd: See what YOU did?! You woke him up!

[Syd runs over to Chris Cortez as he tries to sleep]

Syd: Sorry to disturb you, but you ARE on in about 2 minutes.

[Chris Cortez grumbles as he gets up and rubs his eyes as he looks at the light]

Chris Cortez: Arrrggg, cant we just cancel?

Syd: Cancel?! Are you kidding?! This is great publicity! Not just for your match, not just for the LSW, but for you and your new record coming out next month! You cant simply BUY this kind of publicity!

[Chris Cortez angrily sighs as he gets up and stretches]

Chris Cortez: Fine. Fine. I'll do it. I'll do it.

[Chris Cortez heads out the door as Syd follows after him, the cameraman goes to follow them, but Syd pushes him away as the cameraman stops following them andj ust sits in Chris Cortez' dressing room, turning off the camera]

[2 Minutes Later]

Rove: My next guest is the current LSW World Heavyweight Champion and next month he has a new album coming out entitled: Legend. He is the one, the only, the "One Man Boyband" Chris Cortez!

[The crowd half cheers and half boos as Chris Cortez stumbles out from the curtains, yawning and rubbing his eyes as his manager Syd follows from behind. Rove goes to shake the hands of Chris Cortez but Chris Cortez ignores him and falls onto the couch next to his desk and closes his eyes. Syd shakes Rove's hand in Chris Cortez's absence as Syd takes a seat next to the sleeping Chris Cortez]

Rove: Well, Syd, as Chris Cortez's manager, I hope you can shed some light on why we've got one of the seven dwarfs, manly Sleepy, here with us today.

[The crowd laughs as Chris Cortez opens his eyes, just to roll them, and then closes them again]

Syd: Well, you see Rove, Chris has been experiencing a bit of Jet Lag as of late. Not to mention over in the states it would be about 9 or 10 at night, so he's pretty tired at the moment. Hopefully he will come around and answer your questions. Isn't that right, CHRIS?

[Syd kicks at Chris Cortez as he just mumbles]

Rove: Yes, I mean, we we're indeed promised a special performance today in the form of one of his songs from his new upcoming album. Now, speaking of that, how has that been going?

Syd: Good. Good. Chris Cortez has penned out a few songs so far, and actually was working on some during his plane ride down here. If all goes good and according to plan, the record should be out by Thanksgiving.

Rove: Sounds good. Now, about things all going according to plan and in time, what is this I hear about LSW Fan Access? I heard that Chris Cortez didnt show up today. What happened?

Syd: Well, it is true that Chris Cortez didn't show up, as we had just gotten off the plane a few hours before it. Chris was tired as hell, so we went straight to the hotel room and Chris took a nap, then we got up and headed over here.

Rove: Well, it looks to me like he hasn't even woke up yet. I was hoping to get his comments on Killjoy. Wondering what he thinks about his comments as of late. Killjoy sure had a lot to say the last time he was here, and I heard he had a lot more to say at the LSW Fan Access. In fact, I believe we have footage of that, so lets go to it. While we do so, someone get the man a cup of coffee before he drools all over my couch!

[The crowd laughs as a stagehand comes over and hands Chris Cortez a cup of coffee. Chris Cortez opens his eyes and sits up as he takes the coffee and sips on it as the clip of Killjoy starts up, at the part where he starts talking about Killjoy.]

Killjoy: Now that we're away from the fans, we can get down to the major things. Mainly, Chris Cortez.

Troy: Yes. Mr Cortez has said some pretty bad things about you.

Killjoy: Yeah, I know. He's been talking about how I have no talent and that I need management to help me win matches. So fucking what? He'll be the same in a few years. First of all, he calls me nothing. A man with no talent what so ever. He says that I can't do anything on my own. It doesn't take a fucking rocket scientist to figure out that I'd rather do my winning from behind a desk rather than in the ring. But the thing is, I don't give a rats ass anymore. So what if I'm run down. Cortez pulls off one win against me and he acts like its a 20 win run against me. The thing is, if I was to take the title away from him with a stroke of a pen, then why haven't I done it all ready?

[Chris Cortez suddenly speaks up]

Chris Cortez: Hold it, Hold it! Pause it! Pause the tape!

[The tape pauses as Chris Cortez just shakes his head]

Rove: Have a few words now, do we Mr.Cortez?

Chris Cortez: You damn right I do, you see-

[Chris Cortez drinks down the rest of the coffee and then holds it out]

Chris Cortez: More.

[A stagehand comes over and pours more as Chris Cortez takes a sip and continues to talk]

Chris Cortez: Now, first off, I find it funny that Killjoy has admitted he has no talent. That he needs management to help him indeed win his matches. Why do I find this funny? I find this funny because that was exactly what he said I was. He said that I WAS the one who had no talent. That I WAS the one who needed management to help me win matches. Yet, all this time, it was him. It was always him. The people, they doubted me, they said I was wrong. Yet, I was right. Now, as seen, before, on this show, Killjoy doesn't give a crap. Oh no, he doesn't. He's tired of living behind all the lies and wanted to come out with the truth!

[Chris Cortez sips on his coffee]

Chris Cortez: The truth that he is indeed nothing but a no-talented has-been who uses management to get what he wants, when he wants. Of course, this has been pointed out many times and no matter how many times its said, Killjoy will continue to not give a crap. Of course HE doesn't give a crap! He doesn't give a crap what other people thinks, he does whatever he wants, when he wants. People don't like it, they can kiss their titles, their shots, their positions on the ladder, hell, maybe even their jobs, good-bye. The guy truly doesn't give a crap about anyone, and why should he? He controls their careers, and he controls his, he makes himself look good, and others look bad.

When he makes others look good, and himself bad, in the end, he'll only make himself look better. To continue his legacy, to continue his greatness, his nostalgia, he does indeed wrestle instead of winning from behind a desk. Why? Cuz, it gives himself more credit to win in person, then not. Which is why it would make himself look much greater if he took the title away from me in person, then behind a damn desk. Now, please, continue, lets see what else he has to say.

[Chris Cortez sips more of his coffee as the tape rolls again]

Killjoy: He talk (talks?) about me putting myself first and other (others?) second. So what? This is a business and I'm in this business to make money. Chief Strongbo said that in this business, you can make friends or you can make money. Well, I tried to make friends and it didn't work, so now I'm all about the money.

Chris Cortez: Pause it!

[The video pauses as Chris Cortez sips on his coffee]

Chris Cortez: Indeed. All he does care about is the money. He uses his power to gain the money and his power to put himself over everyone else. Thus, putting more "credit" into his career. Yet, Id think a career tainted by corporate blood would take it down a few notches. Seems some of those nostalgia blinded fans just don't get it. They don't know what is like being a wrestler in the same company as that corporate hugger. They don't know. They just watch, and love him cuz he has the power, and misuses it to his advantage, to make him appear better. When he isn't. Making himself APPEAR better, doesn't MAKE him better.

No. If these fans only realized that what you see, isn't what you get. Killjoy only MAKES himself appear better than others, when in fact he ISN'T better than others. Its only the power of the management which helps him win his matches, win his titles and defeat his opponents. Nothing more. Nothing less.

[Chris Cortez sips on his coffee]

Chris Cortez: Now, I find it ironic that he uses the quote from Chief Strongbo: "In this business, you can make friends or you can make money". Well, indeed Killjoy says he doesn't want to make friends, he only care about the money. Well, I think we need to look at the facts more clearer. As Killjoy DOES have friends. A friend named Vertigo, who certainly is helping Killjoy, so that Killjoy, who has the power, will help Vertigo. Help Vertigo get power, fame, and above all else: MONEY.

Rove: Vertigo? Isn't that your opponent come the LSW PPV on Tuesday, Hallowicked?

Chris Cortez: Indeed, one in the same. Vertigo, the great Killjoy's lap dog. Vertigo, once a great man, reduced to another man's humble bitch. One who gives up his manhood to another all for the sake of climbing quickly back up the ladder. To quickly gain back his glory, his stature, and his "legendary" status! But, let me ask you this Rove: Wouldn't doing all this, make you nothing more but a pathetic has-been? Needing to rely on management power to help you achieve success? Wouldn't it be more of an accomplishment, to do it on your own and without the help of others? Especially from such a crooked corporate man such as Killjoy?

Rove: Well, I done know, I suppose.

Chris Cortez: If Vertigo wants to take that path, so be it. Let him. Let him taint his status, his glory, let him taint it with corporate blood. If he wishes to, so be it. If he wants to throw away REAL glory, REAL legendary status all for the sake of power and money such as Killjoy has, fine, let him. There is but one point I wish to make, so roll the footage.

[Chris Cortez gets poured more coffee as the video rolls]

Killjoy: And finally we come to Cortez trying to get Vertigo to join up with him. If Vertigo wants to jump, he knows I'll hunt him down and destroy him once and for all. All this we've been hearing is just another Cortez mind game. He wants to make sure he has everyone under his wing before he goes to take me down. But the thing he didn't count on is there are people who hate him more than they do me, and no matter what he does or say, my place in LSW history is already written and there's nothing he can do about that

Chris Cortez: Pause it!

[The clip pauses as Chris Cortez takes another sip of his coffee]

Chris Cortez: You see, Rove, there is strength in numbers. I hope to gain more numbers than Killjoy, in hopes to stop him. The more he gains, the smaller and smaller my window of opportunity to indeed stop him gets. A great war is on the rise, Rove. The war for dominance. The war for balance. Who will outweigh the other? Will Killjoy and his lap dogs, who will help them all for the power and money, get the upper hand in the end? Or will we, the ones who suffer at the hands of Killjoy, topple him in the end and get the last laugh? That, is the question. It all depends which side people are on. They are either with the KWO, Killjoy World Order, who wish to keep the LSW in the past, in the hands of Killjoy and his corporate rule. Or The New Generation, who hope to bring the LSW into a whole new era, and bring it into a time of great matches, angles, and prosperity. Which brings me to Vertigo.

Which side is he on? Does he wish to continue his crooked path down such a greedy road? Or does he wish to keep his status, his legendary glory, his written history, untainted by corporate blood? Killjoy's history, his written name in the books of LSW lore, have already been tainted by such corporate blood. All his wins, all his titles, all his victories, are nothing more than corporate wins, are nothing more then greed coming to the surface. He has been seen for what he really is. An old no-talented has-been. Is this what Vertigo really wishes to become?

If so, so be it. If Vertigo wishes to continue down this path, then so be it. At the PPV, I will become his roadblock, his bump in the road, I will make sure he goes no further and aides Killjoy no more. I will cut Killjoy's ties with him, as I no doubt feel that Vertigo will help Killjoy later in the night against the Beast. I will make sure Vertigo never gets up, doesn't leave the arena without medical assistance. Killjoy was right. The time of playing games is over. Now, the time of getting serious is upon us, and yes, I am serious. I will stop at nothing to see Killjoy out of power and If I have to go through each and every one of his supporters one by one, then so be it.

Let it be known now to everyone, that the war has just begun. The sides will be chosen, the battlefield will be drawn, and the cannons fired. It all starts at the PPV. Vertigo will choose his side, the ring will be the battlefield and the cannons will be fired: directly at Vertigo, if he so chooses to be fired upon.

[Chris Cortez drinks the rest of his coffee as Rove looks at the camera]

Rove: Well, strong words by LSW World Heavyweight Champion Chris Cortez. With that we'll be taking a commercial break and then we'll be back with a special performance by the "One Man Boyband" himself, Chris Cortez. Stay tuned and don't touch that dial!

[The cameras shutoff and fade out to a commercials for such things as the LSW PPV: Hallowicked, Chris Cortez's new CD, LSW Shopzone and much much more. After a few more commercials, the camera turn back on as the scene fades back in on Rove who holds a copy of Chris Cortez' new CD]

Rove: Well, here he is, the "One Man Boyband" Chris Cortez, performing his new single from his upcoming album Legend, the song is entitled: "Down Under (Double C Remix)".

[Rove points over to the stage where a band starts the song off and Chris Cortez dances around stage as he grabs on to the mic and starts singing]

Traveling in a supped up humvee
On an ol' dirt trail, pocket full a mon-ey
Went to a house, n' met a cute lay-day.
I gave her my dough n' she gave it ta me, six ways ta sunday
As she said:

"Um Going Down, Going Down Un-dah
Which makes men groan,
N' women moan lou-dah
Um Going Down, Going Down Un-dah
N' when we go a rock'n
No-buddy better come a nah knock'n"

Chatting with a gal from London
She had a chest making her blouse un-button
I said "How would ya like ta get wit me?"
She just smiled and gave me her room key
As she said:

"I'll be Going Down, Going Down Un-dah
Which makes men groan,
N' women moan lou-dah
I'll be Going Down, Going Down Un-dah
N' when we go a rock'n
No-buddy better come a nah knock'n"

Lying on a beach in Mi-ami
Wearing tight shorts, gitting a bit sandy
I told the lifeguard: "Yer gitting me horney
N' If we get tagether, what would ya do ta me?"
She said:

"I'd Go Down, Go Down Un-dah
Which makes men groan,
N' women moan lou-dah
I'd Go Down, Go Down Un-dah
N' when we go a rock'n
No-buddy better come a nah knock'n"

[The music stops as Chris Cortez poses for the crowd who gives mixed reactions. Rove comes up and shakes Chris Cortez hand as Rove talk to the camera]

Rove: Chris Cortez, album coming out Thanksgiving, check out the LSW PPV: Hallowicked as well. See you all next time!

[Rove waves goodbye to the crowd as Syd walks up to Chris Cortez and whispers something in his ear. Chris Cortez nods and follows Syd to the back and into his locker room where the TV inside shows Vertigo walking down to the ring. Syd yells at the LSW Cameraman who is still there, and still in Chris Cortez locker room, looking for a word]

Syd: Get that camera on NOW!

Cameraman: Finally.

[The cameraman turns on the camera as Chris Cortez sits down and watches as Vertigo steps into the ring and starts to speak his mind.]

Vertigo: I am not a puppet. I am not an accessory. I am NOT a cohort. At least, no more than those who accuse me of being so. Cortez, Beast, Blackthorne, you all hold seperate feelings about me, you all think you know me. Let me fill you in on something very, VERY important. You don't fuck me over. That's not how it works around here. This is my federation as much as it is Killjoy's. No one else can lay claim. Gold isn't the true gauge of the power in this federation. The game is domination.

[Chris Cortez just shakes his head]

Chris Cortez: Well, it seems our little friend has chosen his path, so be it. Let him join up with Killjoy, let him join up with the KWO, let him use power to taint his legacy and keep his pathetic has-been body at the top. Lest Killjoy and of course, Vertigo ever forget: All good things must come to an end.

[Chris Cortez continues to watch]

Vertigo: I've said it before, and you dense dolts just don't seem to get it. This isn't a playground where you run around with the trophy and we all chase after it like a bunch of little fucking lemmings. This is the real world. This is your blood on my hands. Not the other way around. So go ahead, gang up on me. Hit me from behind. Strip me of my dignity and think you deserve it... go ahead... feed my fire. For every cheap trick you pull in the coming weeks, know that I've done the same. For every match you win, know that I did it twice as many times before. For every bone you break, remember that I, too, have broken many bones.

[Chris Cortez just smiles]

Chris Cortez: Ah, of course, the ol "been 'round the block more times then you, thus making me better" speech. HA! Just like an old machine is replaced by a newer model within a year or so of it's making, this is thus the same. Vertigo, Killjoy, the past of LSW, they have become OBSOLETE. They still believe that they can make it in this world, full of better and more efficient models. They still think they are can run faster, when we run like the speed of light. They think they can work harder, when we put in the extra hours of overtime and they quit early. They still believe they can do better than us, just because they are older.

No. Youth is the way of life. Certainly an 8 year old boy can run faster than an 80 year old man. He'd run circles around him, he is faster than him and the 80 year old man could certainly break a hip as well. Certainly an 8 year old can work harder and faster than a 80 year old, for the 80 year olds back as given out, his joints are stiff. These old men, of the past, Vertigo and Killjoy, they know they cannot outdo us, no, of course not. They are obsolete models which have barely much use anymore, they can no longer keep up with the models of the future. So, what do they do? What do they do to match us? The get an upgrade. A corporate sponsored upgrade. They become faster, with the corporate power. They become stronger and work harder, with the corporate power. Without it, they are nothing. They are old, they are obsolete, they are no longer what they used to be.

[Chris Cortez continues to watch]

Vertigo: The point is that all of you so-called Next Generation stars have one thing in common. You all seem to think that Killjoy and Myself only rely on our namesakes to get us from point A to point B. I ask you to remember how we got those reputations we wield as if it were a weapon. Remember my undefeated streak, 15-0 right out of the oven. Remember that Killjoy was the one man who stopped me. Remember back in the day when the competitors around here were The Sickness, Ash, Barrackus, Hardcore Wreck, myself, and Killjoy. Remember when you were in diapers. Remember when I taught you how to hate...

[Chris Cortez shakes his head]

Chris Cortez: The past is past. The future is today, it is now, it is tomorrow, and the next day, and the next. Your track record, is part of the past. Killjoy defeating you, its in the history books, its in the past. The Sickness? Gone. Ash? Hasn't been seen in weeks, might as well be dead, much like his career. Barrackus? Long gone. Hardcore Wreck? Sure, he's in the Whatchamacallit Title, but really, when was the last time he did anything note worthy? You can remember the past all you want, but remember this: THE PAST IS DEAD.

[Chris Cortez continues to watch]

Vertigo: Individually, you are weak. Together, you are even worse. But you still choose to form your pathetic little group. You know your faults, and you so blatantly expose them when you offer me your hand. After I make my return known, after I align myself with the one intelligent mind in this federation (believe it or not), and after I show my power, then you offer me a spot in your little stable. You make this too easy. That ain't how it works around here. I should know, I helped make these rules. Consider yourselves proven a fool, a joke, a mockery of true talent. I spit upon your offer, and step upon the very thought of ever helping you in the fight against what's right with this federation. You are the plague that is killing off the lifeblood of the LSW.

[Chris Cortez shakes his head]

Chris Cortez: You chose your path, so be it. BUT, saying that Killjoy is what's right about this federation? That Killjoy is the lifeblood of it all? THAT is what shows YOU as a joke and a fool. Its obvious that your eyes have been blinded by all that Killjoy has promised you. The power. The glory. The money. You have lost sight of what is right and what is truly wrong. Killjoy is wrong. Doing all this just to get back to the position you once where, to taint your legacy with corporate blood, it is all wrong. Yet, because you are blinded by such, you see it was right, so be it, If Im the one who has to give you your wake up call, so be it. It'll be a pleasure to finally knock some sense into you come the PPV.

[Chris Cortez continues to watch]

Vertigo: You are flashes in the pan, burning bright for a moment, fading out quickly, and forgotten with a new one. The difference between your kind and our kind is that we stick around. We don't burn out, only burn brighter. We'll be the flame that eclipses your little spark. In the long run, the war will be ours, no matter how many battles you think you've won.... if nothing else, think of yourselves as the mice that scare the elephant. Over time, your tactics run thin, your weaknesses are exposed, and the elephant will crush you without a second thought.

[Chris Cortez just shakes his head]

Chris Cortez: It funny how ironic life sometime is. To think that he's actually thinks he's talking about me, or us, the new generation, in a sense. You see, it isn't us who are fading out, its you. We are burning bright, you are going out. Your an old lightbulb who has been on to long, and is slowly fading from wear and tare. Your a sun who has burned so bright, and now finds itself burning out. The past is catching up, and just like the past, which is dead, so will be your careers. Your fire is almost out, yet, to keep it alive, to keep the flames burning, to fan them, you add corporate gasoline. to keep you alive, to keep you at the top and on top of your game, you turn to corporate gasoline to keep your flame alive, to keep you going, to keep you what you once where. Pathetic.

[Chris Cortez continues to watch]

Vertigo: As for your remarks about me being one simple step of the ladder... consider yourself once again proven retarded beyond comprehension. I am not simply a step. I am the top. I am the zenith, the summit, the apex, the grand majarajah of every-god-damn-thing. Not Killjoy. You think of he and myself in the same thought all too much, it'll be the death of you if you don't quit. Associating my hatred for you with Killjoy's hatred for you is dangerous. He and I work together solely because it is practical. You seem to think we are one and the same. In many ways, we may be, but not in your case. I alone will deliver the crushing blow that will smash that ego and eventually take your precious gold from you. I could personally care less for it, only to see that you no longer hide behind it. Do not see me as a former-champion. Do not see me as a "legend". See me as the one man who will gladly take you down time and again in non-title matches solely for the pleasure of watching you bleed at my hands.

[Chris Cortez just smiles]

Chris Cortez: Oh, Vertigo, who's ego has gotten the best of him now? You can talk all you want about being at the top, being the top, and being the best. The fact of the matter is that, well, you WERE at the top, you WERE the top and you WERE the best. WERE as in PAST TENSE. Like Ive said, the PAST is DEAD, you ARE the PAST and YOU ARE DEAD. You mean NOTHING to anyone anymore! You are nothing but garbage left over from the party known as the past of LSW, that someone forgot to take out to the curb on trash day. You stink up this place with your name, your voice, your ego and your old man thoughts that you are still something. Well, your not. Come the PPV, I will finally take out the trash, I will finally prove that you are NOTHING anymore and that you will always be NOTHING. It isn't me who should quit, no, its you. You should quit, before your legacy, your written chapters, your status, becomes even more tainted then it already is.

[Chris Cortez continues to watch]

Vertigo: There is nothing I would love more than to hear you scream for mercy after all that you promise your adoring fans. They love you, for better or for worse, right? Wrong. As soon as you are seen as the worthless, pathetic, whiny little runt in the pack, they'll turn on you. Don't dare equate that to Killjoy turning on me, because I know for a FACT that won't be an issue. Killjoy and myself have an understanding after all the blood we've shared. You and Beast, you are just two unlucky bastards who happen to have joined forces against the one true thing in the LSW. For god's sake, I'm so sick of hearing you bitch about Killjoy when you should be focusing on the clear and present danger to your beautiful, precious ivory face. Me. Are you not right in the head? Do yo not see what's right in front of you? You're not facing Killjoy on Tuesday, you're facing me. You're not taking him down, you're going to crash and burn at the hands of Vertigo.

[Chris Cortez shakes his head]

Chris Cortez: Listen to me Vertigo, I know you are my opponent on Tuesday. I know. I know that. I also know that I will be the one taking you down. For you see, while I do speak of Killjoy, I also speak of you. Before I can go to Killjoy, I first have to go through the bitch, the lap dog, the pawn. For you are a pawn to him, and he is the king. Its a game of chess. I must get through the small, insignificant pieces first, before I can take down the source of their power: the king. You are a pawn, a mere playing piece in his corporate game. One by one, those who stand before me will go down, as I travel to him. You are one of them, and like I said, you WILL go down.

[Chris Cortez continues to watch]

Vertigo: That's right, the one and only I-speak-in-third-person Vertigo. You need to learn how to deal with your foes, instead of their allies. Otherwise, you'll find yourself in a very unwanted position very soon. No matter what, you've already lost. You'll see when the bell rings and the last thing you remember was a loud "What The Hell Was That?!?!?!" from the announcers. When the only thing you have to commemorate the grand debut of your little stable is the numb feeling in your shoulders, another loss in the L column, and one hell of a headache... then you'll see. Until then, enjoy the ride. It'll be over soon. You don't have the mind required to play the games I play. You don't have the body strong enough to withstand the punishment I lay. You just won't cut it in my federation. Ever.

[Chris Cortez just smiles]

Chris Cortez: Vertigo, the end IS already here. FOR YOU. The past is DEAD, yet you still walk the earth like a zombie. You cant let go of the past, you must always walk around, being a reminder of how bad it was. Well, Vertigo, the past catches up to people, really quick. The past will catch up with you, at the PPV, as you get pinned by ME and YOU lose. As you lay there, down, beaten, by me, you will feel it. You will fee the past catching up to you. You will die right then and there, as the dead past eats at you, feeds on you, and brings you back to where you belong. Back to the history books, back into the past, back into what is only a memory. Back into a time, which is long gone, back, where everything, much like you and whatever career you got left, is DEAD. Tick, Tock, Vertigo. Tick, Tock. The countdown to the end of the past is still ticking! Prepare, the end is near!

[Chris Cortez evilly smiles as the camera shuts off and the scene fades to the same countdown clock we've seen for a few days now.]

Countdown to THE END of LSW's Past
