[Scene: We open up in a luxury 5 star hotel room, namely Chris Cortez's luxury 5 star hotel room. The lights are on and Chris Cortez torn and dirty clothes from the day are on the bed. The camera moves towards the sound of singing as it enters the bathroom to find Chris Cortez taking a bath and doing some karaoke. He has a few bumps, scratches and cuts but nothing too serious. Suddenly he sees the camera and gets startled and a bit angry at the same time.]

Chris Cortez: What the?! What the hell are you doing in here?! Cant you see Im taking a bath! Im trying to relax after such a long day of training, from running to boxing to taking a crash course in hardcore fighting. As much as it all hurt and pained me in more ways than one, I feel that in the end it was all worth it

[Chris Cortez points to his many cuts, bruises and scratches.]

Chris Cortez: Sure, I got these. The LSW Trainer/Doctor said that they arint anything serious and will heal in no time. As long as I take it easy until tomorrow till my match, I will be in fine physical shape to take on Killjoy. If that doctor only knew the true truth to his words. I feel the best that I have ever been. Thanks to Syd's help, not only am I now physically ready for this match, but Im also mentally ready for this match.

[Chris Cortez laughs a little]

Chris Cortez: Its a bit ironic though. If it wasn't for Killjoys constant "wake up calls", chances are I wouldn't have token any of this seriously and It would be easy pickens for Killjoy at Devil's Night 2. Well, that isn't the case. He woke me up from my dream world. He woke me up from my ego clouded eyes. He woke me up from the truth. That I was no match for him. At least, at the time I wasn't.

[Chris Cortez opens his arms and points to himself for a minute]

Chris Cortez: What you see before you, is a brand new Chris Cortez. I am faster, better, smarter and stronger than I was before. Killjoy did indeed wake me from my ego-slumber, but I was the one, thanks to Syd, to take my reality to a whole new level. I have elevated myself higher than I was before, and Killjoy will be the first to learn that with a first hand account.

[Chris Cortez adds a bit more hot water to the tub]

Chris Cortez: Im no longer afraid to fight Killjoy. No. Im looking forward to it. Im looking forward to stepping in the ring with such a legend and getting the chance to fight a match of a lifetime. The chance to win it all, win the most coveted prize in the LSW and win the most beautiful girl in the world, Angel! Also, the chance to finish what a dead man dreamt of doing, and that is to fight you, Killjoy, and maybe stop you once and for all.

[Chris Cortez sighs as he shuts off the hot water]

Chris Cortez: Maybe Im letting my ego get to me again, but know this Killjoy, I will stop at nothing to reach my goal, the ultimate goal of this match. That is of course, to win. You might look down at me, but by the end of this match, I guarantee you will find a whole new respect in me. I wont be holding anything back in this match and you better not either. That's how you would like it and that's how I want it to be as well. I AM prepared for this match and I know are as well. Soon it will be time, and soon we will see just who is the better man.

[Chris Cortez looks into the camera and nods.]

Chris Cortez: Let the games begin.

[Chris Cortez smiles as the camera exits the bathroom and in doing so shutsoff and fades to black.]
