[Scene: In the LSW Breakroom we find Chris Cortez looking through a newspaper while drinking a cup of coffee. Behind him, in the doorway, Syd steps into the room and just looks at Chris Cortez for a few seconds. He then walks over and sits down in the chair next to him and looks at him, but Chris Cortez dosent look up from the paper]

Syd: Ah, Hi

[Chris Cortez just nods]

Chris Cortez: Hi

[Silence]

Syd: So, hows it going?

Chris Cortez: Bad.

Syd: Yeah, I heard.

[Silence]

Syd: Look, Im sorry about what I did to you a few weeks ago, just walking out on you like that just becouse you listened to Killjoy. I understand now that he was right, that you needed to train and get ready for your match with him on the double. Its just too bad that all your trainers werent that helpful in the end.

Chris Cortez: Bishop Brother Blood would have been, if that bastard didnt kill him. Now Im looking over the paper for a trainer that could help me in what little time Ive got left.

[Silence]

Syd: I could help you.

[Chris Cortez turns and looks at Syd]

Chris Cortez: Really? You? Help Me?

Syd: Of course! When I said I was your manager, did you just assume it was only for Music?

Chris Cortez: Well...

Syd: I mean, why would I have you go into wrestling without knowing anything about it?

Chris Cortez: True...

Syd: Not only have I been a music manager in my time, but Ive also been a wrestling manager in my time. Long before you we're even born.

Chris Cortez: So, your willing to train me and help me?

Syd: Of course, thats my job. I am still your manager, right?

Chris Cortez: Right.

Syd: Good. We'll start tonight. We got to get you in great shape and ready for your match against Killjoy. We want you to be the next LSW World Heavyweight Champion right?

Chris Cortez: Well, that would be nice, but thanks to Killjoy I have to give up MY title for him to put HIS on the line.

Syd: Well, arint you?

Chris Cortez: I dont know.

Syd: What do you mean you dont know?

Chris Cortez: Im not sure If I want to sacrafice something Ive got, for something I might not win.

Syd: What do you mean? If you train some more and get in shape a bit, its a sure fire knockout. Plus, theres the Beast.

Chris Cortez: True. But Im not getting the LSW Mixed Tag Team Title anymore.

Syd: But you could still win Angel.

Chris Cortez: I know. Im just pissed off that Killjoy would go behind my back like this adding in all these stupid stipulations and such!

Syd: Killjoy didnt put them in.

Chris Cortez: Huh?

Syd: Thats right. He didnt ask for any of these. LSW Management added all these stipulations to the match. My guess is to get more dough in the old money box.

Chris Cortez: Really?

Syd: Yup.

Chris Cortez: Hm. Maybe the playing field is more equal than I thought.

Syd: At least for the time being, I mean, did you see Killjoy's recent promo? Even he said your starting to become more or less his equal. Ill bet that after some more training before the match, your'll be even more than an equal.

Chris Cortez: You think so?

Syd: I know so.

Chris Cortez: Hm.

Syd: So, whats it going to be? Are you willing to give up some belt for the chance of a lifetime? Are you willing to give up everything for a lot more? Are you willing to go through hell and high water to make your mark? Are you willing to sarcafice your life for the titles, the glory, and of course, Angel?

[Chris Cortez thinks for a moment]

Chris Cortez: Of course. Of course Im going to go through with it all and Of course, Im going to throw this LSW Karaoke Title away and go for the biggest prize in the buisness. Of course Im going to go into that match and of course Im going to leave with everything. With the Titles. With the Glory. And, of course, with Angel. Why? Becouse I am a TRUE TALENTED SUPER MEGA STAR and Killjoy is nothing!

Syd: THATs what I like to hear! C'mon! Let's get started! I know this awesome gym a few blocks of here. Im sure they will let us train for a bit.

[Syd walks out the door as Chris Cortez follows him. However, he stops at the door and looks at the LSW Karaoke Title he is holding. He looks at for a minute and then drops it in a nearby Trash Can. The camera gets a shot of it inside the dumpster as the camera shutsoff and fades to black]
