[The camera opens with an angry Chris Cortez half dragging Mean Green down to the ring and rolling him inside to a mixed reaction from the fans in the small television studio. With Robin the referee calling for the bell, a match was underway.]
CHRIS CORTEZ
versus
MEAN GREEN
*** Ding *** Ding
***
Whipping the big bird across the ring, Cortez rocks him with a big clothesline
on the return, following with a knee drop to the beak. The pummeling afterwards
is quickly broken up by an adamant Robin.
Howard Butz: We've got an intense start to this week's program.
Dillon Diamond: Looks like a beating to me, Howie.
A stern warning from the ref for the closed fists puts a break in the action,
allowing Mean Green to get to his feet using the ropes. A high drop kick to the
back sends the mascot flying over the top rope to the outside. Using the ropes,
Cortez joins him with a slingshot splash.
Howard Butz: It's spilled to the outside and Cortez is not letting up!
Using the ring post, Cortez introduces Green's beak to it repeatedly. Staggering
backwards, Green is scooped up and dropped across Cortez' knee.
Dillon Diamond: I know who I don't want to piss off.
Howard Butz: CORTEZ HAS A CHAIR!
Grabbing a chair from the audience, Cortez stalks back to his adversary only to
get into a tug of war with the ref. Snatching it away, he relents, throwing it
down on top of the prone Green. Jumping up onto the apron, Cortez takes a
running start before diving off of and landing a senton with a loud crash.
Howard Butz: OW!
Rolling Mean back into the ring, Cortez pushes the chair in as well before
climbing the ropes. Waiting for Green to stand, Cortez draws a count from Robin.
Howard Butz: The ref's not letting this one get out of control. She's standing
up to Cortez.
Dillon Diamond: I'd like to get out of control with her.
Howard Butz: Do you mind?
Dillon Diamond: really, I wouldn't mind at all.
Howard Butz: Get your mind back on the match. Cortez coming down from the ropes
... a whip into the ropes. SPINNING HEEL KICK!
Going down like a ton of bricks, Mean Green is pulled right back up after Cortez
kicks his chair to the center of the ring. A knee to the gut to double his
adversary over leads into a double underhook.
Dillon Diamond: I know what's coming here!
Dropping to his knees, Cortez drives Mean Green's beak into the chair before
rolling him to his back for the cover.
Dillon Diamond: THE CHART TOPPER!
Howard Butz: Robin with the count. ONE! TWO! THREE!
*** Ding *** Ding ***
