Matt sat with Jeff on the
sofa. Jeff was shaking as he was crying so hard. He was praying to himself
that Leah had talked to Amy, if she hadn't they were gonna's. Matt held Jeff
against him as the door opened. Leah came down to the brothers.
"Well?" Matt
asked as he still held Jeff.
"I don't think she
will be saying anything." She said with a half smile as she knelt down by
the sofa and stroked Jeff's forehead. "I think i got it through to
her."
"What did you
say?" Matt asked intrigued.
"Well I just told her
i thought of her a sister and asked her if I did something would it be so
wrong. I did it and left, leaving her to think."
"What did you
do?" Jeff asked as he wiped away his tears.
Leah smiled. "I
kissed her."
"What?" Both the
brothers asked together.
"You heard."
Leah said smiling. She kissed them both and headed upstairs to change.
"Vince, you said I
had two weeks of." Matt said down the phone to his boss Vince McMahon.
"Well Matt, we need
you and Amy back. The fans don't like the split and we want to sort it out as
soon as possible."
"But what about Jeff?
They don't like the Hardyz split either."
"I know that, but
Jeff has been exhausted lately and I think he needs more time. But you and Amy
seemed to be coping better."
"We are."
"Then I will be
seeing you both in the morning?"
"I guess you will.
We'll have to fly down because there is no way we can drive that far over
night."
"Ok do that then. We
will sort out fairs later on."
"Ok Vince. Bye."
"Bye Matt."
Matt hung up the phone and
turned to the group in the room, Leah, Jeff, Amy, Shane and Shannon. They were
all now at the Hardyz house.
"I had better go home
and pack." Amy said standing up. Shane stood up with her.
"Yeh, me too."
Matt said sighing.
"I guess I'll go
home. I have to leave early so I miss the traffic."
"You got a show
Shan?" Leah asked.
Shannon smiled. "Yep.
We are doing a lot more shows now than we used to be. I love it. The fans
totally hate me." He said smiling proudly. He stood up and the other,
Leah and Jeff, followed suit.
After everyone had left
Leah went upstairs with Matt to help him pack.
"I don't want you to
go baby." She said as she sat on his bed.
"You think I want to
go? I though finally Vince was actually going to give us, or me, the time of
he promised."
"But it's your job
Matty, and you love it."
"I know I do. That's
the problem." He said smiling at he as he walked over to her. He pulled
her to the edge of the bed and made her kneel up. He put his arms around her
waist and held her close. "I'm going to miss you so much."
"Me too." Leah
said as she placed her arms around Matt's neck. "How long are you gone
for?"
"I don't know. Three
maybe four days."
Leah groaned and rested
her head against him. "You gunna call me everyday?"
"I promise I
will." He said as he kissed her forehead.
"No." She said
lifting her head. "Not there, here." She said pointing to her lips,
which Matt gladly covered with his.
"Bye baby bro."
Matt said as he kissed and embraced Jeff.
"Take care
Matty." Jeff said as he removed himself from Matt's arms.
"I'm gunna miss you
two so much." He said as Leah went into his open arms.
"I'm gunna miss you
too." Leah said as she kissed him.
"I had better go. I
have to pick Amy up."
"If you really have
to." Leah said as Matt freed her.
"I do sweetie. But
I'll call you." Matt said as he climbed into the car. He was going to
leave it at the airport and bring it home when he returned. "Jeffy?"
Matt asked put of the window.
"Yeh?"
"Take care of her for
me."
"I will don't
worry." He said giving Matt one last kiss.
As Matt drove out of the
driveway and down the street Leah and Jeff turned back towards the house. Once
they were inside Leah went over to the sofa and dropped down on it.
"You ok?" Jeff
asked as he sat on the arm above her head.
"Uh huh." She
replied as she closed her eyes.
"So what are we going
to do?" Jeff asked her whilst stroking her forehead.
Leah opened her eyes and
looked up at him before she sat up and getting up of the sofa. She went and
stood in front of him.
"We." Leah
began. "Are going to get to know each other better."
"A lot better?"
Jeff questioned.
"A lot." Leah
said as she reached forward and kissed him lightly.
