Chapter 3
"What are you all dressed up for?" Amy asked, a large smile on her
face as
Chloe walked out of her hotel room. "I hope it isn't for Jeffy." Amy
said
batting her eyelids and smiling that large smiled once again.
"No it isn't." Chloe said smiling at her. "I am going to a photo
shoot
afterwards."
"And that is the reason why you don't want the people to put the make up on
later, but for you too do it while you have to wrestle. Don't worry, it
would make a lot of sense if you admitted you like Jeff in the way everyone
knows you do."
"But I don't. That is Leah's job and there is no way I am going to take
that
from her."
"Because she will kill you?"
"Yeah, that too." Chloe said getting in the car. "Hey Jeff."
"Hey! Look who got all dressed up!" He said looking at her.
"I'm going to a photo shoot and they are taking photos when I wrestle okay.
I want to look good for my first photo that might be in a wrestling magazine
one day."
"Yeah, when you are fifty and loosing your hair." Jeff said laughing.
"At least I will have hair. Dying your hair makes you loose your
hair!"
"Well I have a lot to loose." Jeff said driving off.
---
"Great!" Vince said happily as Chloe pinned Desiree. "That was
way better
than I thought you could do."
"Always have faith in me Uncle Vince." Chloe said getting out of the
ring.
"I like my music too by the way."
"Yeah it is good. You should thank Jeff for that. He got the music from
some
people he knows and organised the clip."
"Really?" Chloe asked. "He did, did he? That was nice of
him."
"Can I smell love in the air?"
"No, that is my sweat from wrestling. I thought you should know that smell
by now!"
"She won't admit it Vince, even if she smiles like crazy at him. She says
he
is ignorant and a total jackass. She said there was no way in hell that she
liked him or even him liking her!" Desiree said getting out of the ring.
"It
will be a shock when she finds out Jeff made out with Leah just before
because Chloe said he didn't like him."
"I can see a lot of trouble coming out of those three. More than anyone
intended."
"Definitely. How is Steph going with Christian?" She asked.
"What about them?" He asked and Desiree nearly choked.
"Vince, when was the last time you sat down and talked to Steph?"
"Not that long ago. Why?"
"Because she is experiencing things she doesn't exactly want to. I know,
everyone tells me everything here and trust me, she needs to be talked
too."
Desiree said taking Andrew's hand when he offered it to her. She smiled at
him, giving him a quick kiss before walking away from Vince as quickly as
possible without it looking like she was running from him. She said
something she knew she shouldn't of but she couldn't help it, she thought
that the billion dollar princess would tell her daddy about Christian, she
was wrong. Very wrong indeed.
---
"Stephanie! Don't shut the door on me! Tell me what is going on! If he has
hurt you he can be fired! No one will tell me anything else so please
Stephanie, don't be a sheep and tell your father what is troubling you."
Vince said pushing thew doors open that Stephanie shut.
Stephanie pushed forward her jaw and squinted. "How dare you do this dad!
How dare my father, THE Vince McMahon, the owner of the biggest sports
entertainment business in town say he is going to fire his main script
writer over a problem he doesn't even know about? How dare you! You have
been so preoccupied with Chloe and how delicate she has to look when going
to the ring that you have forgotten about your business! Can't you get it
through your head? She is a McMahon! Even Shane struts down to the ring! She
isn't going to be any different!"
Vince looked at his daughter and the tears threatening to leave her eyes and
run down her delicate face, past her quivering jaw line and down her neck to
her top, leaving a wet drop for the world to see. "Fine. I won't give a
shit
about your cousin's future." He said leaving the room.
Stephanie picked up a shoe and threw it at the door once he closed it behind
him. "God!" She said throwing down her arms. She looked over to the
door and
saw her new tan coloured shoes that Christian had given her because he knew
she would like them, and she did, she adored them, but now they were in two
parts! "No!" Stephanie screamed throwing herself into the nearest
chair and
the back broke off. "Fucking hell! You'd think my dad would spend the extra
five dollars and get one that doesn't brake!" She screamed wanting to tear
her hair out. She sat up straight and extended her neck. She pushed the hair
off her face, wiped the tears away and looked around. She began to cry again
noticing she was alone. She was never alone when she was upset.
Saga's eyes grew wide as she passed the young woman's room. She could hear
sobs coming from the room and she knew that Stephanie was all alone in
there. The poor girl. He life hadn't been the same since her little cousin
came into the business. Vince was really making sure she wasn't seen as a
McMahon when she really was. It was kind of hard to hide such distinctive
features but that didn't stop Vince. If he said something could be done, he
would get it done. But Steph was the girl that got her toes stamped on this
time and everyone knew she wouldn't take it well.
"Matt, is she alright?" Saga asked seeing Matt was stunned by what he
heard
as well.
"I don't know. I'll be back. You want to come check with me?"
"Sure." Saga said following Matt into the room. She saw Matt sit down
next
to Steph and give her a tight re-assuring hug that seemed to quieten her
tears. Saga sighed knowing it was very obvious that these two had dated in
the past and were in a very tight relationship. Even though they didn't talk
much, Saga knew for sure that they still were friends and still talked a
lot. 'Competition for Christian.' She thought as she saw the smile Steph
gave Matt as he kissed her forehead. 'And some for Amy.' She thought as Matt
stood up.
"If you are going to brake down in tears, don't just sit there." He
said
giving Steph her shoe.
"Yeah, that's all I need. I can't go to you, Amy will think I am trying to
steal you from her if I turn up every day."
"I was thinking more like you should be talking to Christian." Matt
said
looking at Steph and seeing her eyes pop open, and looked like they were
about to leave her eye sockets behind as they fell to the floor. But they
did stay in her head and Matt knew it was time he should be leaving. He let
Saga out first them followed her. Once he shut the door Steph thought hard.
She knew she did need Chris, even more than she would ever admit but she
really did need him.
Steph got up and headed out the same door so many people had entered and
exited that warm sunny day. She smiled to herself as she quietly shut the
door then power walked all the way down to the hall before knocking on the
script writer's door. She waited impatiently for an answer, allowing her to
enter, then she smiled, walking into the room. She had a lot to say, her
mind was completely full!
