Chapter 16

Jami, Tasha and Lita made their way noisely to their room, laughing about how fun it had been to play in the rain once again.  They had left Danny, RVD and Shane in the lobby, promising that they'd all be feeling much better soon.

The door next to their's opened suddenly and Edge, Matt and Jeff stood blocking their way.  "Excuse us." Jami smiled at them.  "We need to talk to you, please." Edge asked.  "Well, can y'all wait til we have taken a shower and changed clothes?" Lita asked.  Matt nodded.  "Sure, we wanted to talk to you seperately anyways.  So, uh Lita, after you three have showered and changed, can I come to your room and talk with you?" Matt asked.  "Sure, I guess so." Lita said.

"Jami, babe, could you come to my room so we could talk?" Jeff asked.  Jami nodded.  "Tash, How about we meet in the hotel diner..." Edge suggested and after a small hesitation she nodded.

"Great, thanks." Jeff said to all three women.  The women nodded before going to their room.  As the door shut Tasha said what they were all thinking, "I wonder what this is all about?"
***
After each girl had showered and changed they stood looking at each other.  Tasha was wearing skin-tight faded blue jeans and a sleeveless white shirt tied at her waist.  Her bluish hair now had blonde highlights thoughout it.  It was pulled back at the sides, with the rest of it hanging loose.

Lita had on a pair of baggy black jeans and a white baby tee that had small black print that said, 'Objects may appear closer than they really are.'  Her hair was pulled back in a loose ponytail.

Jami wore a pair of skin-tight lavendar pants, a white tank top, and a button down lavendar shirt.  The shirt had three-quarter sleeves and the first few buttons were left undone to show the white-tank top.  Her brown hair was down loose in waves.

"Are we ready for this girls?' Jami asked.  Lita and Tasha nodded.  With that Jami and Tasha left the room.  The two women stopped outside of the guys door.  "Okay...here I go. Edge is probably already in the diner. Good Luck." Jami said to Tasha and tasha gave her a confident smile before walking towards the diner.

Jami knocked on the door and Matt opened it. "Hey James...Jeff is in the bathroom doing something to his hair. I didn't ask questions.  He should be out in a second. I yelled in at him to let him know you were here.  Is Lita in your room?" Matt asked in a rush.  "Yes, she's in there.  Matt..just a warning...you hurt her...I break you." Jami told him.  Matt nodded before leaving the room. Jami shut the door behind him.
***
Matt knocked on the hotel room door and heard Lita call for him to come in.  He opened the door and saw Lita sitting on the edge of one of the three beds.

"Come on in...take your pants off and stay awhile." Lita told him.  Matt looked at her in suprise.  "it's a joke Matt." Lita laughed.

"Oh yeah...ha ha.  Lita, we need to talk." Matt said.  Lita smiled.  "Isn't that what you are here for?" "Uh...yeah." Matt said, caught off guard by Lita's friendly attitude.

Matt came around and sat behind Lita on the bed.  Lita turned and face Matt, sitting Indian style.  "Lita, I still love you. I never stopped loving you.  I hate us being apart." Matt told her honestly.

Lita tilted her head to one side and studied him carefully.  "Matt...I love you. I truly do.  And I hate us being apart too.  But we can't be together."  Lita simply stated.

"Why not. C'mon lita.  I love you. You love me. What else do you need?" Matt asked in frustration.  "Matt, I need you to trust me. And you don't. You have this need to control me. And I am the only one who can control me."  Lita told him bluntly.

"But I can work on it. With you beside me, I can work on it." Matt assured her.  Lita smiled, "I'll always be by your side Matt, but right now it can only be as a friend.  Until you trust me and stop trying to control me, we can't have more than a friendship." Matt looked at her sadly before slowly nodding.
***
Jeff stepped out of the bathroom and saw Jami leaning against the hotel door.  "Hey Jami, I'm glad you're here." Jeff said.  "I told you I'd be here.  What's up?" Jami asked.

"Well...there are a few things we need to talk about." Jeff said, standing in front of her.  "yeah, we do." Jami agree'd.  "Well, I want to talk about what's been going on in the ring." Jeff admitted.  "what about it?" Jami asked.

"Well, you three are becoming such sex symbols out there...it kind of frustrates me.  I mean, having all these guys oogle you, it's freaky." Jeff told her.  "You never had a problem with the guys oogling me, or the other girls, when we were walking down the ring at your side." Jami reminded him.

"I know...but now you three aren't walking by our sides...and you're flaunting it. You're enjoying it." Jeff finally admitted.

Jami grinned and slowly backed Jeff up untli he was sitting on an overstuffed chair.  While he was walking backwards he muttered.  "Matt and Edge and I talked about it. We all thought the same.  You kill me you have to kill them too." Jami laughed as he plopped down in the chair, a suprised look on his face.  Jami climbed on him so she was facing him, staddling him, her knees on either side of him.   He looked up at her, placing his hands on her thighs.

"baby, they pay me to wiggle my hips." Jami whispered, wiggling her hips just enough to brush up against him.  "they pay me to lick my lips." she slowly licked her lips.  "They pay me to strut my stuff." she said, slowly running a hand through her hair.  "They pay me to like it rough." Jami teased, putting her face close to his.

Suddenly she jumped up and stood in front of him, her hands on her hips, a teasing smile on her lips.  "You are cruel!"  Jeff complained.  "I know, but so are you guys." Jami told him, walking across the room and sitting on one of the beds.

"And what do you mean by that? We aren't trying to give you blue balls." Jeff replied gruffily.  Jami rolled her eyes.  "You three guys keep going on and on about all your evidence, yet never showing it to us."

Jeff got up and akwardly walked over to the dresser and pulled out a small square box.  He threw it on Jami's lap.  She opened the box and saw a bunch of polaroids and other snapshots.

Jami shifted through them.  There were pictures of her face to face with Shane McMahon, who was dressed only in a thong.  Following that were pictures of Lita facing a thong-clad Shane and then Tasha with the thonged Shane.  Then there was a picture of Jami walking into a hotel room with a naked Shane.  Then there was Shane comforting Jami after her run-in with Booker T and the Dudleyz.  There were tons of other pictures of Tasha, Jami and Lita hanging out with guys, nothing sexual in them
***
Tasha saw Edge sitting at a booth in the diner.  He was nervously playing with the silverware on the table.  Tasha walked up the the table and Edge made like he was going to stand but Tasha motioned for him not to.  She slid in across from him.

"Tasha, babe...I'm glad you agree'd to talk with me" Edge said.  Tasha nodded.  "Jeff, Matt and I were talking...why do you three try to sexually provoke Jeff, Matt and me?" Edge asked.

Tasha arched an eyebrow at him, trying to keep a smile off her face.  "sexually provoke?" she asked.  "Yes, strutting around in sexy outfits, grinding your hips, trying to give up hard ons...and it's not just us.  There are pictures of you with other guys. You look sexy.  They are touching you, hugging you...looking at you. They could be taken sexually." Edge rambled.

Tasha climbed on the table, on her knees.  She leaned in really close to Edge's face.  "One plus two equal three." was all she said.  "What the hell?" Edge asked, confused.

"How sexual was that?" "It was a math equation...so not very." Edge answered.  "But how sexual do you think it looked if someone had taken a picture." Edge thought about it.  "I guess a lot."

"Yes, because a picture is just a picture.  But we told you we weren't cheating and you didn't believe us.  In this case a word is worth more than a thousand pictures." Tasha said, before hoping off the table and walking out of the diner.  Edge watched her in disbelief.
