chapter 6

Jami and Tasha both ran upstairs and to the room Lita was staying in. They swung open the door to be confronted by a sobbing Lita, sitting on the bed. Jami rushed to her side and wrapped an arm around her. Tasha sat on her other side. "Lita...Lita....what's wrong?!? Are you okay?" Jami asked with worry etched across her face. "I'm sorry I screamed. I...I'm okay. I guess you could call that a...a scream of frustration. I started to have a memory come back to me...or at least I think it was a memory, and then it was gone. I guess I just got so frustrated I screamed. I'm sorry I worried you." Lita apologized, looking first at Jami and then to Tasha. "It's okay. We are just glad you are okay." Tasha reassured her. "Yeah, why don't you lay back down and rest. Tasha and I will go start on lunch. Come down whenever, okay?" Jami told her, giving her a quick, one-armed hug. Lita nodded as the two other women left the room.

Lita hesitantly entered the kitchen and found Tasha and Jami sitting at the small round table. They both looked up when she entered. "Good morning." they chorused in unison. "Good morning. Is there anything planned for today?" Lita asked. Jami shook her head. "Good, I saw on TV last night that Smackdown will be at Greensboro tonight. I was hoping we could go." Lita said. Jami looked at Tasha, who shrugged. "Sure, I don't see why not. I'll call Vince and let him know we are coming." Jami said as she went into the hallway to use the phone.

Lita sat across from Tasha. "So, your good friends with Edge, right?" Lita asked her. "Yep, we met through Jami. Jami wants us to hook up, but we hardly ever see each other. We just talk on the phone a couple times a week." Tasha told her, smiling. Lita grinned back, "Well, you'll get to see him tonight." Tasha nodded, her smile growing even wider.

Jami entered the kitchen again. "Okay, I left a message for Vince. Greensboro is about 60 miles away from here, and we'll want to get there early, so we'll leave about....4. Is that okay with both of you?" Jami asked and both girls nodded in agreement.
