Title: My Sacrifice
Author: Jami
Lynn
Chapter:
1, it's a song fic
Disclaimer: I
don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be
busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Cassandra, for she is
one of my personalities. The song belongs to Creed. And don't
bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of
chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask
me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So
far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing
bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some
cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything
can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: Has
Jeff sacrificed to much?
Feedback: I
need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!
Jeff Hardy walked slowly down the hallway toward the
WWF women's locker room. The room he knew Cassandra was in. Amy
had broken the news to him last night. Cass was in the WWF.
Cass and him had been friends when they were younger.
She had been there for him when his mother had passed away. She had
supported him fully when he began training to be a wrestler. When
their other friends had teased him and his brother, Matt, about their dream,
she had defended them. Cass had been the one to go to the gym with him
all those countless hours as he practiced. She didn't lecture him for
trying all the high risk moves. Instead, she encouraged him.
Jeff knew that he loved her as more than a friend.
He also knew that Cass loved him the same way. But the timing was
never right between them for them to be together. Then the WWF had
hired Matt and himself to go on the circuit. Matt and Jeff had left
the next day. He never had a chance to say goodbye. And he had
never contacted her since. He was afraid all the old emotions would be
there and his dream would keep them apart. Jeff couldn't stand the
thought of hurting Cass like that.

hello my friend we meet again
it's been awhile
where should we begin?
feels like forever
within my heart and memories
a perfect love that you gave to me
oh I remember
when you are with me I'm free
I'm careless
I believe
above all the others
we'll fly
this brings tears to my eyes
my sacrifice

Jeff was excited at seeing her again, but also a
little worried. Would she beat the crap outta him for leaving her and
never contacting her? He truly hoped not. He had sent her a note
with Amy, explaining how he had felt it would be easier if he just
disappeared. Then he had asked her to meet him outside the locker room
if she forgave him. Jeff truly hoped she would.
With Cass back in his life he knew that he would be
able to do anything. He would feel like flying. His heard
constricted, bringing tears to his eyes, at the thought that she may not
forgive him. He quickly blinked them away as he neared the locker
room. No one stood outside the door

We've seen our shares of ups and downs
oh
how quickly life can turn around in an
instant
it feels so good to realize
within yourself and within your mind
let's find peace there
cause when you are with me I'm free
I'm careless
I believe
above all the others
we'll fly
this brings tears to my eyes
my sacrifice.

Suddenly the door flew open and he stared at the woman
standing there, in shock. She was about 5'10", with long reddish
brown hair. She had big, doe, brown eyes, that at the moment were
looking expectantly into his suprised green ones. She was dressed in a
pair of fitted, black jeans and a white tank top that showed off her tan.
She used a hand to brush a strand of hair off her face
before smiling up at him. "Cass...is that really you?" Jeff
asked, in amazement. The woman in front of him laughed. "Yep,
it's me." "I just had to say hello again." Jeff
said after a few minutes of tense silence. Cass took a step towards
him and hugged him. When she pulled away, she asked, "Was it
worth the sacrifice?"
