Learning The Steps

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us). Charity and Mags also own themselves and if you try to take them you will burn in hell! This is the next story in the Step series...it's the Matt/Lita sequel. And the address to the stories is at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.

Jami, Tasha, and Lita were in their locker room changing into their in-ring B.L.A.D.E. outfits. All three had been off TV for three weeks, while Jami had been recovering. During that time the storyline had Jeff, Matt and Edge reeking havic on the Lethal Faction. This was the girls first night back and they were doing a few promo shots and a few run-in's.

Tasha and Edge were together...as were Matt and Lita. Jami and Jeff had not talked since that day at the hospital. Both were withdrawn and quiet.

Stephanie McMahon walked into the locker room as the girls were doing their makeup. "hey girls, what's up? How are you doing?" she asked, plopping down on the bench. "Nothing, just getting ready for the night." Jami mumbled, applying lip gloss.

"well, the writing team has decided a current storyline for you three." Steph told them. "Great, whose ass do we get to kick now?" Tasha asked, grabbing the lip gloss from Jami and handing her the mascera she had been using. Lita quickly grabbed the mascera from Jami and replaced it with loose face powder and a brush to use it with.

"Well, we decided to keep up the storyline with you taunting the guys in promos and run-ins. But we are also placing you three as valets for three of the Lethal Faction men. No matches with you against others. Minor interference only." Stephanie quietly told them.

"What?" Tasha shouted. "Ow! Damnit!" Lita yelped as she stuck the mascera wand in her eye. Jami continued using the face powder without showing any signs that she had heard Stephanie.

"Why are we out of commission?" Tasha turned and asked Stephanie. "Damnit! This shit hurts!" Lita yelped. Jami grabbed the mascera from her before she could stop her and started to use it, saying, "You weren't suppose to stick it in your eye."

Stephanie tried to ignore them. "Well, I doubt you three really had the oppurtunity to watch the TV storylines, but you three were gone three weeks adn the three guys were gone for a week. So, the first TV appearance we had Shane come out and say the reason you fainted was because a drug was slipped into your drink. He then called out Jeff, Matt and Edge to take responsibility for the devious trick. They never came out. Finally Shane said that you three were in the back and had something to say. Your music hit and of course, you didn't come out. Shane began to act really worried and frantic. The commerical break started right after the audience saw him running backstage. Then they showed Shane reaching your locker room and finding it looking like their had been a struggle. Then at Smackdown he told everyone that you three were missing and he found it ironic that matt, Edge and Jeff were missing at the same time. Nothing happened then really except that. then on Raw the three men were back in-ring. Shane came out to the stage and asked what they knew about your absences. They played the 'I'm guilty but trying to look innocent' game. So...the two weeks went like that...the guys not confirming or denying that they had kidnapped you. We had a couple of videos that looked like silouhettes of you three, but we never saw you. That's what is up with the promo tonight." Stephanie explained.

"So, why does that leave us out of matches?" Tasha asked. "Because, we know they didnt' kidnap you. And the guys know that, but the audience doesn't. So...we want you to accompany three different guys...and we'll have either Jeff, Matt or Edge come down to try and get you, but we'll have a method of escape, so no one will know exactly what went down." Stephanie explained. "Cool." Tasha said before fighting over the mascera wand with Jami and Lita.

Jeff and Matt had just won their tag team match with Edge in their corner. But their celebration was cut shot as the lights and all the music went off. Then B.L.A.D.E's music started up and the silouhettes were shown on the screen, just like they had the last two weeks, but this time it wasn't only a small glimpse.

This time the girls were slowly bathed in light. Each girl was dressed in the B.L.A.D.E. shorts and tank top, all in black. They also had sunglasses covering their eyes.

The camera focused more on the three faces in it's frame. Each girl moved in unision, running a hand slowly through their tangled mass of wavy hair.

Then each girl moved their sunglasses so they were barely perched on their noses and their eyes were visible. Again in unision they smied and spoke. "We're back!" They said, tossing their hair seductively.

Then the screen went black and the cameras caught Jeff, Matt and Edge looking shocked in the ring.
