Chapter 15
Jeff held his head in his hands, his mind racing a mile a minute. This could not be happening again. He could not be sitting in a hospital waiting room, waiting to see if his wife was going to live. How could this be happening. She seemed so fine, so energetic lately. And now she was laying unconcscious in a room somewhere, machines breathing for her.
The doctor came back in the room and walked over to Jeff. "Jeff, your wife still isn't responding. She seems pretty out of it. we are still waiting on a few test results. What I need to know is if she is on any medication, or if she has been taking any over the counter drugs. If you have noticed a change in her attitude or actions lately." the doctor asked him.
"No...Well, she has seemed more energetic. She's also been pretty emotional." Jeff said to the doctor, finding it hard to think straight. "Jeff, hasn't she been taking something over the counter? When we were at your house last night, I walked by your bedroom and I saw her taking something." Danny said.
Jeff's head snapped up. "She has been taking something. She said it was tylenol, but I never saw the bottle or the pills." Jeff told the doctor. "Can you send someone to get the pills and bring them to us?" the doctor asked.
Tasha immediently stood up. "Edge and I can go to the hotel and get them Jeff." She offered. Jeff nodded and handed her the room key. As soon as the key was in her hand, Edge and Tasha left.
The doctor nodded as the two left. "I'm going to go back in and see if there have been anymore test results sent down. I'll let you know if anything has changed. When they get back with the pills, just have them give them to the nurse on duty." The doctor said before leaving the room.

For a minute Jami could actually feel herself. She wasn't aware of what was happening to her, but the darkness wasn't so dark anymore. She could hear someone strange saying her name, but she ignored them. She didn't want to wake up. It hurt to much to wake up.
Jami's thoughts screamed through her head as she remembered feeling ill before the match. She let out a groan as she realized why that was. Jeff was going to hate her. He was going to realize she wasn't worth his time, that she was worthless, and he was going to leave her. With that thought Jami slipped back into the darkness.

Tasha and Edge immediently headed straight for Jami's suitcase when they got into the hotel room. Tasha unzipped it while Edge sat on the bed. Tasha sat next to him and begin to look through her friend's stuff. For a minute she felt guilty for going through Jami's stuff when Jami wasn't there...but then she remembered her reason.
She finally located a large pill bottle and pulled it out. Tasha quickly looked at the writing on the bottle. "Appetite Supressents and Weight Loss Tablets." she read aloud before it finally hit her what they were.
Edge looked at her oddly. "So, what exactly are they?" he asked. Tasha opened the bottle of pills and dumped them on the bed, trying to figure out how many were gone from this bottle. more than three fourths of them were gone.
"What they are, are a means of Jami to starve herself and lose weight quickly. Damnit, I should have seen this coming. Damnit!" Tasha said.
"you mean, Jami has been trying to lose weight, by starving herself?" Edge asked in shock. "Yes, that and exercising a lot.We have to get these back to the hospital right away." Tasha said, scooping the pills back into the bottle.
She reached her hand back into the suitcase to see if there was anything else there. Tasha's hand landed on a box and another bottle of pills. She pulled them out too. Both were labeled as Appetite supressents and weight loss pills, only different brands.
Finally the last piece of information Tasha needed, she found. She pulled out a small notebook. When she looked inside she found the amounts of food that Jami had eaten each day, along with her weight and her measurements for each day.
"Come on. We have to go now!" Tasha said, pulling Edge up off the bed and hurrying from the room.
