Title: Can't Lose What You Never Had
Author: Jami
Lynn
Chapter:
1, it's a song fic
Disclaimer: I
don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be
busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jaded, for she is one of
the voices in my head, crying to get out. The song belongs to Westlife.
And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a
bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask
me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So
far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing
bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything
can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: Can
you lose what you've never had? Is losing it worth the risk to have it?
Feedback: I
need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!
Christian stood in his locker room doorway, afraid to
move. Afraid that if he did move that the vision before him would
move and disappear into thin air. He knew he should make a move to go
and talk to her, but he couldn't seem to get his legs to move.
Her name was Jaded. She was still relatively new to
the WWF, but he'd been watching her for quite some time now. And tonight
she would be in the ring with him. Tonight Vince had scheduled an
intergender tag team match. Christian, himself, was going to team up
with Trish Stratus. Their oponents were Jaded and his brother, Edge.
Christian continued to quietly watch Jaded as she
stretched out in the hallway. She was dressed in her ring attire, which
consisted of short black shorts that should off extremely long, tan legs and a
black glitter halter top. Her long black hair had jade green streaks
running through it, and was flowing in waves down her back.
Finally Christian stepped back into the locker room
before she could catch him staring at her.

Baby your so beautiful,
And when I'm near you I can't breathe.
A girl like you gets who she wants
When she wants it.
You're so out of my league.
I show you no emotion
Dont' let you see what you're doin' to me.
Imagine the two of us together
But I been livin' in reality.

Christian stood in the ring next to Trish Stratus.
But he barely noticed the blonde beauty. He was waiting for Aerosmith's
"Jaded" to come blaring through the speakers. As the song
began he watched the large screen in front of him as it showed Jaded's photo
montage.
There were clips of her posing for a photo shoot.
Then it moved on to show her wrestling. Next it showed a full length
view of her in a jade green clingy, mini-skirt and halter top that showed off
every curve of her body. Then the camera moved in to show a close up of
her face. She smiled a perfect smile and flipped her black hair before
saying, "You've just been Jaded."
As the music continued, Jaded stepped out from behind the
curtain. Christian felt his heart thump painfully in his chest and his
breath caught in his throat. Jaded stopped on the ramp, posed for the
crowd and then waited for her tag team partner to be announced.

Fear of Rejection, kept my love inside,
But time is running out,
So damn my foolish pride.
I don't care if you think I'm crazy,
Doesn't matter if it turns out bad
'Cause I've got no fear of losin' you.
You can't lose what you never had.

The match definately wasn't going in Trish and
Christian's favor. Edge was dominating Christian through most of the
match. Christian wasn't able to concentrate fully on the match when he
felt Jaded's green eyes on him. He felt like they were burning holes
through his skin.
Christian was D.D.T'd by Edge, and he just lay looking up
into the rafters. He heard a tag being exchanged and groaned.
There was no way he would stay in the ring with Jaded. Truthfully, he
wasn't sure he could control his hormones.
His eyes rolled back in his head as he felt Jaded flip on
top of him from the top rope. Then she covered him, getting a two count
before he rolled and was on top of her. He stared down into her green
eyes, mesmorized. Her black hair was fanned about under head as she
stared up at him.
Before he could stop her, she rolled and was back on top
of him. Again, she got a two count. Christian rolled once more,
laying on top of her. This time when she looked up at him with her big
green eyes, he lost all his senses.
He leaned down and kissed her as everyone in the arena
gasped in suprise. Christian broke the kiss and jumped up, stunned by
his own actions. Jaded looked up at him in confusion. Christian
jumped out of the ring and ran up the ramp, red faced.

Rules are made for breakin'
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I'll be no worse off than I am right now,
And I might never get this chance again.
Tried to fight it, but it cannot be denied,
Told my heart I didn't want you but I lied.
Now I'm gonna confess that I love you
I been keepin' it inside, feelin' I could
die,
Now if you turn away, then that's O.K.
At least we'll have this moment,
Before you say goodbye.

Jaded made her way through the backstage area later that
night. She had already changed into her street clothes, which consisted
of a pair of track pants and a white tank top. Her black hair was pulled
back into a ponytail that hung carelessly over her shoulder.
Finally she found who she was looking for. He sat
in front of her on a folding chair, his head in his hands. His blonde
hair hung covering his face and his bag lay at his feet. Quietly Jaded
walked up in front of him and dropped her bag at her feet. Christian
jumped to his feet in suprise and his face turned red in embarassment.
He relaxed when Jaded smiled up at him. "Good
Match Christian." she said, her eyes never leaving his. He
felt like he was drowning in their green depth. "I...I'm sorry
a-about...." he began to stutter but Jaded stopped him. She
grabbed his face in her hands and kissed him.

Here on the outside lookin' in
Don't wanna stay dreamin' about what could
have been.
I need to hear you speak my name.
Even if you shoot me down in flames.
Fear of Rejection, kept my love inside.
But time is running out
So damn my foolish pride.
I don't care if you think I'm crazy
Doesn't matter if it turns out bad.
'Cause I've got no fear of losin' you.
You can't lose what you never had.
