The digital clock in Asha's car
turned to 7:30. She knew she had to go in. She had to face him one last time.
It had been almost six years since she had seen him last. Six last years of
heartbreaking pain when she saw him. She would see him maybe to or three times
a week. Sighing she opened the door of her car and stepped out into the cold
winter air.
As she entered the old high
school gym she let looked around. She didn't recognise anyone. Slowly she
walked to get a drink. She filled her cup with the red punch and looked into
it. Why was she doing this to herself? why did she even want to speak to him?
She hadn't spoken to him for six years. Yes, she had seen him, but only on the
TV. you see this guy was Asha's high school sweetheart and he broke her heart
when he didn't go to university. He left her so he could go and wrestle. Go to
the WWF and work for his farther, Vince McMahon.
For nine years she had
been in love with Shane McMahon. This was the last chance she knew she would
get to see him, talk to him, touch him, smell him, taste him... Asha tried to
shake the thoughts out of her head. But she suddenly heard the voice in her
ear, a soft touch of a hand on her shoulder. Slowly she turned around. She
looked at him in the eye. She almost ran from the room. She would of done if
he hadn't of caught her arm.
"You look amazing."
he said softly.
"You...you look good
to."
"How are you?"
"I'm good. You?"
"Not to bad. You having a
good time?"
"No." Asha replied
bluntly.
"Me either. Do you want to
come for a walk?"
"Yeh ok."
"Good because there is
something i have to tell you." he said as he led her out of the room and
out onto the parking lot.
The walked all the way down to
the football field and sat up in the stands. They looked at the moon rising
above the trees in the distance.
"Beautiful isn't it?"
Asha asked him as she did up her coat she had grabbed from her car.
"Yeh it is." he
paused "Just like you."
Asha turned to him. "I
think you need your eyes checked out."
"You never where one to
take a compliment where you?" he asked as he nudged her in the side. Her
body reacting by sending shivers up her spine. "There is one reason i
came tonight."
"And what's that?"
she asked as she continued to look at the moon.
"You."
His single word made her snap
her head around to look at him. "What?"
"I came here because i
needed to see you."
"Well, as you confessed i
will. I came to see you. I watch you on raw and smackdown! but i wanted to
speak to you."
"I wish i could have seen
you through the past six years. I have never.....never stopped loving
you."
His words froze her to the
spot. She just looked into his eyes. "Say something." he said in a
nervous tone.
"I love you Shane. I could
never stop loving you and i never will."
"Then let us try again. I
messed up six years ago but i'm not going to do it again. I'm never going to
let you go."
"Shane..."
"No. Please. Let us try
this. i want you so bad Asha."
With that he leaned in a kissed
her lips softly. Neither of them pulled away. They just kissed passionately,
their hands tangled in each others hair, the tongues wrestled each other with
a passion neither had every felt before. They felt complete.
