Chapter 9
Chloe
sat in the back of the car with Jeff and Jamie in his car seat whilst Matt drive
with Lee sitting up front with him. They talked about anything and everything as
they drove across the state. When they finally arrived they saw a group of
wrestlers standing at the far side of the car park. Matt, Lee and Jeff got out
and Chloe got out and then took Jamie from his car seat. Matt got the baby bags
from the boot of the car and slung them onto his shoulder and took Lee’s hand.
As Jeff unfolded the buggy and watched Chloe strap Jamie into it. He took her
hand as she pushed the buggy and followed Matt and Lee who where already walking
ahead to meet up with the group of wrestlers.
“MATT!!”
Amy shouted as she ran and greeted the friend she hadn’t seen for nearly seven
months. She stood back as she looked Lee up and down before smiling at her and
introducing herself.
“Hi,
I’m Amy.”
“Hi,
I’m Lee, Matt’s girlfriend.” She replied as Matt squeezed her hand.
“Nice
to meet you.” She said as she walked and greeted Jeff and Chloe who had just
reached them.
Matt,
spoke to a few of his friends and walked over to Chloe who now had Jamie in her
arms.
“Guys,
I would like you to meet someone.” He said as all the faces turned to look at
him and Chloe. Jeff stood aside with Lee as he watched the smile on Matt’s
face as he looked at his baby. “This is my son Jamie.” He said as he smiled
from ear to ear as he looked at Chloe who was making faces at the now crying
Jamie.
“I’ll
be back in a sec.” She said as she took the bag from Matt and Jeff led her to
the big arena so they could find somewhere to change Jamie.
“He’s
so cute.” Nora said as she walked over to Matt and gave him a quick hug.
“I
know.” He said still smiling.
“How
old is he?”
“Six
months one week and a day.” He answered instantly, making everyone laugh.
“Matt,
Jeff, it’s great to finally have you back in the WWF.” Vince said as he
shook their hand s and offered them a seat.
“Thanks.”
Matt said as he took a seat and looked over to Chloe and Lee who stood in the
corner of the room.
“And
you too Chloe. How are you?”
“I’m
fine thanks.”
“Why
don’t you two have a seat.” He offered and they accepted. Chloe sat on the
sofa next to Jeff and she sat Jamie on her knee.
“What’s
his name?”
“Jamie.”
She said as she leaned back and Jeff draped his arm around her.
“So,
when do you two want to return to action, so to speak?”
“When
ever you want us to.” Jeff answered him.
“Well,
we have a Smackdown taping tonight so there’s no time like the present.”
“Ok,
that’s fine with me. Matt?”
“Yeh
sure.”
“Good,
now I need an angle for you.”
Vince
sat in silence for a minute before he looked back at the people who sat in front
of him.
“Chloe,
how do you feel about getting back in the wrestling ring?” he asked her, as he
knew she could wrestler because she did before when she first came to see them.
She looked from Jeff to Matt and back again before looking at Vince.
“I
don’t know, I haven’t done anything for so long.”
“You
can do it.” Jeff said as he ran his hand across her shoulder reassuringly.
“I know you can.”
“Well,
if you want me to, I guess I could.”
“Great,
now how about this for an angle. Matt and Jeff, you will have a match against
Peter Gruner (Billy Kidman) and Shannon Moore as we have the whole WCW/ECW angle
going, but in your match Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson come to the ring and
get in the ring with you. They both kiss you, that’s when Amy and Chloe can
come down to the ring and beat the hell out of them before getting out of the
ring and you finish your match and winning. Amy and Chloe then challenge them to
a match and they want to make it a bra and panties match, so you two agree. So
how is that?”
“Fine
by me.” Matt said.
“And
me.”
“Me
too.” Chloe finished.
“Well,
I will inform all people involved and by the way, Matt and Jeff you can go with
them two the ring.” He said as they all stood up and walked out of the room.
“Jeff,
I can’t do this, the last time I was in a ring was when I was here about a
year and a half ago.”
“You
can baby, I’ll tell you what, let’s go and find everybody and we’ll
practice for our matches.”
