Summary: Trish is diagnosed with a disease and doesn't know if she'll live that
long. Jeff remembers all the special moments they spent together.

Trish looked at the doctor as tears filled her eyes.
How could this be? How could she just wake up one day with cancer? There had to
be some mistake. She was young, she had just begun her life and now it would all
be taken away from her.
"Ms. Stratus, I'm so sorry to be the bearer of more bad news but the cancer
has spread throughout your lungs. You may have only a couple of months to
live."
"Doctor, how can this happen to me? What did I do to deserve this?"
The doctor looked at her with tears in his eyes.
"I don't know sweetheart, I don't know."

Jeff checked himself out in the mirror one more time. It would be a couple of
minutes before Trish came home from the doctor. He wanted to make sure
everything was perfect. He heard the door slam and he ran to it.
"Baby...I'm so glad your home! Wait till you see what I have planned for
you!"
He then noticed the sad look and the tears that were in her pretty brown eyes.
"Baby, what's wrong?"
She looked at him and tears started to flow again.
"Did something happen at the doctor's office?"
She nodded.
"What honey? You can tell me."
"I....I have cancer."
"What?"
"Please don't make me say it again Jeff, The doctor says I only have a
couple of months to live."
"How could this happen?" he cried
"I've been asking myself that for awhile now."
"Baby, you can't leave me, not now...not ever. We're supposed to be
together forever. You're supposed to become Mrs. Jeffrey Nero Hardy."
"I know baby." she cried
They held each other and broke down and cried.

*4 Months Later*
Jeff looked in horror as Trish began wheezing.
He started up his engine and rode to the hospital.
"I don't know what happened. We were just sittin' there, looking up at the sky's
and she started to have trouble breathing and then she fainted. Please go and
make sure she's alright."
*3 Hours Later*
After sitting there and pacing for what seemed like forever, the doctor finally
called in Jeff.
"She's not doing well. It seems the cancer has spread throughout more of
her body and she might not make it."
She might not make it.

Those words kept repeating itself over and over in Jeff's head.
"Can I see her? Please?"
"Sure"
He walked into the dark room and sat down beside her.
"Trish, baby?"
"Yeah, I'm here honey"
"Baby, what's wrong? How could this have happened?"
"I don't know, But Jeff you know it and I know it, I don't have much time
left do I?"
"What? Don't be silly Trishie, You're gonna live to become Mrs. Jeffrey
Nero Hardy remember?"
"I just want to tell you something Jeff before I lose my voice and I never
get to say it."
"Anything baby, say anything"
"These past years spent with you have been nothing but paradise for me. Do
you remember all those memories and special moments we shared? Like when we went
in the hot air balloon and I threw your underwear? Or when we went riding in the
boat and I threw a fish into your bag? Remember when, we sat underneath the
stars and told each other our hopes and dreams, our fears and faiths and the
first time we uttered I love you? Those are moments I want you to keep with you
always and forever. Do me a favor and never forget them. Those are so precious.
You made me alive Jeffrey and I can't thank you enough for that. Not only did
you do that, but you taught me love. I love you baby. I love you." were her
last words as the heart monitor beeped her last breath.
"I'll never forget them because I love you." he kissed her once and
erupted into tears.
