"Ash's GWF RoundUp" #1

Hello all, this is Ash reporting on the latest events in the GWF!

With the Global Storm Front PPV less than a week away, all eyes were on GlobalVision to see what would unfold before the big event. Fans that attended were treated to a brutal GWF Hardcore Title match between Chris MT5 and Christopher James, where MT5 took advantage of a leg injury to capture the Hardcore Title from James. It’s going to be a hardcore extravaganza at the PPV, with no less than THREE hardcore matches taking place on the night. To start things rolling, a rematch between Chris MT5 and Christopher James from GlobalVision – can James get his revenge, or will MT5 prove once again that he is superior? The winner of that match will then go on to fight Thrashard in the following match, who promises to unleash a storm of fury on whoever he’s facing! Finally, the winner of that will go on to face TWO men in the form of Thunder and MDK! With Thunder having an alliance with Christopher James, it will be interesting to see what happens if he makes it this far! MDK has a fantastic record at GlobalVision, but can he carry this over onto PPV and become a 2-time GWF Hardcore Champion? We will find out on Sunday in the ultimate hardcore gauntlet!

Also on GlobalVision this week – Thrashard and Arctic Ice had an interesting tag team match that didn’t quite happen! The referee counted out their opponents, Khaos and “Old School” Martin Scott when they failed to appear for the start of the match. Light was shed on the matter when a camera went backstage to find both superstars unconscious on the floor, with a written threat to Rick Ice lying beside them! Needless to say, the Ice man lost his cool as he tried to find out who was responsible for the note. It’s one-half of the GWF Tag Team Champions - Khaos against Rick “Arctic” Ice at Global Storm Front, will Arctic have his focus on the match, or will he have one eye looking over his shoulder? Will the mystery man show himself? It’s sure to be one to watch!

Finally on GlobalVision it was GWF World Heavyweight Champion Rage vs JoLL in a non-title match, with GWF Television Champion Inferno as the special guest referee! This match was never going to be pretty, with JoLL taking an early advantage over Rage and never letting up – he was out to prove a point! His ego got the better of him though, when Rage took advantage of JoLL’s cockiness and hit big-hitting moves all over the place! Inferno, surprisingly, was calling this match right down the middle, managing to contain his anger for both men. When Rage brought some steel chairs into the ring, though, Inferno saw his opportunity and laid out both competitors with many deafening chair shots! He stood over them both, holding the GWF World Heavyweight Championship above his head, telling both men in no uncertain terms that he would be leaving their next encounter as the champion! So, in the Global Storm Front main event, it’s Inferno vs JoLL vs Rage for the GWF World Heavyweight Championship with no love lost between any of these three men! Ever since the Tournament To Glory PPV, this match has been in the making, with all the participants facing each other in one-on-one matches since then – not one of them ending decisively. Can JoLL prove to everyone that he really is a force to be reckoned with? Can Inferno capture the gold to be the first man to wear the Television Title and World Heavyweight Champion at the same time? Or can Rage overcome the odds and solidify himself as a worthy champion? It has been bubbling up over the past few weeks and it is set to EXPLODE at Global Storm Front this Sunday, with one of these 3 superstars leaving the arena as the GWF World Heavyweight Champion!

Reporting from the GWF, my name is Ash – until next time, bye GWF fans!
