"The Shining Star" Andrew Ashton

[:PROLOGUE:]

Only being in two New Era Wrestling cards sinse his return, Andrew has found himself pushed straight in with the people on the higher end of the roster. He didn't really want this to happen, as he didn't think he'd be as good as he used to be, but looking at the kind of matches he has won, he's glad he was pushed so soon. I mean, the first card, he had the World Champion down for the count, and the second card, he beat Tony Millennia, Kyle Rayner, and Jeff Evans in the same match. How many people can say they've done that?

Even with Kyle Rayner in the match, someone who goes on week in and week out about how when he gets his hands on Andrew, he is going to dominate him, he still won the match. He thought Kyle Rayner would be a little bit of a challenge, but he was wrong. One thing he had started to realize, was that Kyle Rayners record wasnt all that great. I mean, how long has it been sinse he won a match? He's doing worse than Tony Millennia did.

Ground Zero, he is in a submission match with Rayner, but he wasnt really thinking about that yet. One of Kyle Rayners downfalls, was how he always thinks too far ahead. Andrews not going to make that mistake. His mind was focused on Breakout. He was going against Jeff Evans, and if he won that, he would be on equal wins with the guy who is going to fight Adam Cameron for the World Title. In his first card, he put the World Champion down for the count, now in his third card, can he take out the number one contender?

[:FADE:IN:]

The scene slowly fades in.. Andrew Ashton slowly opens his car door, and steps out, and begins to stare at a house. This was the first place Andrew always came to when he wanted to be by himself, when whichever company he was with came to Washington. This was the house that made him what he was today. This was the house that made him a Wrestling Superstar. This was the house where Andrew Ashton was born...

He slowly began to walk towards the front door. The grass in the front garden was in desperate need of being cut, and the house looked like it needed a new paint job. You could tell that the house had not been visited in a long time. Andrews mom soon moved out after his dad passed away. It was too upsetting for her to stay there, but she didn't sell the house. There were too many memories with it for them to be able to sell it. Andrew made his way to the door, to see that it was barely shut. He gave the bottom of it a little kick, and the door swung open. As he walked in, he was suprised to see that everything was still there..

He walked into the sitting room, and sighed. He sat on one of the arms of a chair, and began looking around. For the first time in a few weeks, he smiled. Some memories began flooding back to him. No matter how hard they were trained, and how much it sounds like he hated every second of it, there were still sometimes where he really enjoyed himself. Those were the only memories he allowed himself to keep. He didn't want to hold on to the upsetting ones..

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed quite a few pictures on the wall. He got up from his seat, and began to walk over to the pictures, squinting his eyes so he could see them properly. He slowly began to go across them, trying to find a few pictures of his own. He slowly began to go through them, going past pictures of Aaron... Eric... Timothy... Corey... Alexander... and oh! There's Andrew... but unlike the rest of the pictures, where everyone was looking fairly happy, he seemed to look like he was in some pain... The reason for this was because, stood behind him, with Andrews ankle in his arms, was Aaron, smiling away, while Andrew was in the Ashton ankle lock...

The smile soon faded away, and a look of anger came over Andrew. He stared at the picture for a few more seconds, and then threw his fist towards it, smashing his fist through the glass in the frame. He then threw the picture down to the ground, and stood on it. He continued to do the same to the rest of them, throwing down each picture of Eric, and Alexander, and Corey. He kept the pictures of Aaron and Timothy, and took them out of their frames.. He stared at them, the smile coming back onto his face, as he took a lighter out of his pocket.

The wallspace should be his. It should be full of pictures from his career. It shouldn't have pictures of Eric, Alexander, Aaron, or Timothy. Pictures of Corey and Andrew should be up. Unlike Timothy and Aaron, they are still working their asses off in the ring, while those guys sit at home and do absolutely nothing. And then people have the cheek to say that Andrew is in their shadow! Yeah! Right! HE WAS NEVER IN THEIR SHADOW. THEY WERE IN HIS.

With a huge smile on his face, he reached into his pocket, and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it open, and held the first picture of Aaron above the flame, and began to set it on fire. He then threw the picture into an empty dustbin that was near his feet (conveniently). He then stared at the picture of Timothy, and began to chuckle. The flame from the picture of Aaron could be seen on his face, as he slowly began to set alight the picture of Tim.

Andrew: That should lighten up that shadow...

The scene slowly began to fade out, as Andrew stared at the burning pictures, with a twisted look on his face..

Andrew: Aha! My spotlight is here!

The scene fades in once again, with Andrew Ashton turning stopping his car outside his house, and getting out. He walked to the front of his car, and sat down on his bonnet, as Bobby Parks and the New Era Wrestling camera crew ran over to him.

Bobby: Andrew, can we get an interview?

Andrew: You know, I would usually say no because of how you treated me last time, but I have a few things to say.

Bobby: About that, I wo--

Andrew: Just shut up. When the camera comes on, ask how I feel about whats going on in New Era Wrestling, and then hand me the microphone, and I'll take it from there.

Bobby: That wouldn't be much of an interview..

Andrew: But at least it is some form of an interview. But if you want, I'll just not do one.

Bobby: Get the cameras ready, guys.

Andrew: I knew you'd understand, Bobby.

One of the camera men nod towards Bobby, to let him know that they were rolling.

Bobby: So, Andrew, could you please give us your tho--

Andrew quickly takes the microphone from Bobby.

Andrew: Ah yes! Airtime! Something I've needed for a while. Recently, New Era Wrestling has been somewhat confusing for me, with all the action packed stuff thats going on, but one of the main things that confuses me the most, is why the hell JEFF EVANS is going against Adam Cameron at Ground Zero, when it should clearly be me! Did you see what I've done to Cameron sinse my return? I kicked the crap out of him in a tag team match, and I kicked the crap out of him at Counterstrike! The guy is nothing! People are scared of him because of what he used to be with Timothy! Thats all!

Andrew: He's about as smart as Timothy too! Cameron thinks the only reason someone stole his title is because they were jealous! Ha! Adam, your title hasnt been stole out of jealousy, it's been stole because someone wants into the main event so bad, and the spotlight so bad, that they've done the best thing they could do, which is steal the World Champions belt.

Bobby: You seem to know a lot of motives why someone would do such a thing...

Andrew: Oh, here we go again with the "Are you the masked man?!" bull crap. It's getting quite tiring. All Adam Cameron needs to remember is that he is the champion, no one else. Everyone knows he is the champion, and he doesn't need a belt to prove that. It just proves how fame hungry Ad-Cam is. He needs his World Title to go with him everywhere he goes, and he is destroying everyone to get it. Adam Camerons true colours are starting to show again. He's still the same as he was when the fans hated him. He needs to focus on his up and coming matches, and not his title, otherwise he's going to go on a losing streak.

Bobby: Good point. It is all he seems to care about.. Anyway, at Ground Zero, you're agai--

Andrew: I know who I am against at Ground Zero.

Bobby: I just wanted to get your thoughts on Kyle Rayner..

Andrew: At this point in time, I have no thoughts on Kyle Rayner. My thoughts are all on Jeff Evans, as well as a one other thing... a family thing... but thats got nothing to do with this.

Andrew: This is another prime example of how some main eventers in New Era Wrestling handle things. Instead of thinking about the next match they have, they think about the big pay per view matches, and about ending feuds, and stuff like that. Unless you're fighting the person you're going to fight at the pay per view that week, then don't think about it. Focus on your match that week. Kyle Rayner is nothing. I'm going to beat him, and thats all that matters, but my main focus is Jeff Evans.

Andrew: I'm not sure if Jeff Evans is trying to annoy me on purpose, or if he is just naturally annoying. Sinse my return, he has been in each one of my matches, and he has done absolutely nothing. The tag team match, where I took out Adam Cameron, and he just stole my pin. The Fatal Four way match, where he just did nothing apart from get his ass handed to him. How he is a wrestler, I do not know, but he probably wont be able to wrestle again after Adam Cameron has finished with him.

Andrew: In my two weeks back, I have laid out the World Champion, and now it is time to take out the number one contender. Reno Frost can keep avoiding me, but sooner of later, there's going to be no one else to stop me from having a world title shot. I'm already starting to show that I am the best in the company, and I've only just got here. I know a lot of people don't think I deserve it because I've only just came back, but what they dont realize is that I've been here from day one. New Era Wrestling is, and always will be my home. This is where I started my career, and this is where I am going to end it. When New Era Wrestling closes it's doors again, if it closes it's doors again, Andrew Ashton closes his door.

Bobby: So you're retiring after this run?

Andrew: Indeed. This is my final run, and it is going to be my best. Jeff Evans is another obsticle in my way. In New Era Wrestlings first run, I made him tap out like a bitch, and this time, it is going to be Lights Out. I mean, if Timothy can beat him, so can I, right?

Bobby: Andrew, thanks for your time.
