Segment 1:
Opening montage…Vince reinstates the Rock.
Jim Ross announced the match between Kurt Angle and Booker T for the WCW World title would be under no disqualification rules.
Interview: Tazz
Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer accompanied Tazz to the ring. Heyman and Dreamer surrounded Ross and Michael Cole. Tazz ordered Dreamer to escort Cole backstage and let Heyman take his place, as per request of Stephanie McMahon. Tazz said tonight would be a historic night for the Alliance, with two big things happening tonight: Booker T will regain his WCW title from Kurt Angle, and the Rock will join the Alliance. Tazz personally guaranteed it.
Chris Jericho came out. He said he was sick and tired of hearing Tazz's voice and told him to shut up. Jericho said Tazz had a big head because he was on Tough Enough, and thought another MTV show would be more appropriate for him to be the star of: Jackass.
Chris Jericho squashed Tazz
Jericho stormed the ring and quickly fell into the Tazzmission. Jericho fought out with a bulldog and hit a lionsault to pick up the very quick win.
Backstage in the Rock's locker room, Vince had the place decorated up with Welcome Home Rock! signs. William Regal and Tajiri walked in with pies. Regal said the pies were cherry, apricot, apple, and blueberry. Vince said Rock liked a different kind of pie. The blueberry pie was missing a slice. Tajiri got a guilty look on his face and opened his mouth, revealing some half chewed pie. Regal ordered Tajiri out of the room.

Segment 2:
WWF Hardcore Championship
Rob Van Dam d. Tajiri
Both men started off with the typical ECW affair; lots of falls that ended with a show of crowd appreciation. The match quickly went outside and Van Dam got a chair. Tajiri sailed off the ropes and kicked the chair in RVD's face, but didn't get the win. Tajiri got a chair and pasted RVD's midsection. Tajiri stacked two chairs on Van Dam's face and dropkicked them. RVD hit a split legged moonsault with a second wind. The match ended with a five star frogsplash off the top rope onto Tajiri, who had a chair on top of his chest.
Backstage, Stephanie, Shane, and Steve Austin had prepared a Welcome Back Rock! room. Debra had made some cookies for the occasion. Nick Patrick entered the room and said Rock was only five minutes away from the arena… Booker T came in and bitched about Rock. Austin said the "spinaroonie" stuff sucked and he needed to stop. Booker ate Debra's cookie and gagged while trying to get it down.

Segment 3:
Vince prepared to greet the Rock when Big Show got in his way. Show asked Vince for advice on naming his new tag team with Billy Gunn. ShowGunns. BigBillyShowGunns. God. Vince told him to name the team Double Trouble Crap on a Stick and left! Show said he would call the team "Double Trouble."
Backstage, Kurt Angle was asked if he felt his title reign would be cut short tonight. Angle said he was confident he could beat Booker T again because he was the better man. Angle said he couldn't stand a man who cries after he loses. He challenged Steve Austin to a match at Summerslam for the WWF World title.
Outside, Stephanie and Shane were waiting for Rock. Vince came out and a shouting match began. A limo pulled up. Chris Kanyon got out. Vince laughed his ass off.

Segment 4:
Hurricane Helms & Torrie Wilson d. Matt Hardy & Lita
The ladies started off with Lita getting the upper hand off a clothesline. Helms ran in while the referee was distracted by Matt and double suplexed Lita with Torrie. Lita fired back with a DDT. The guys tagged in, but all four remained in the ring. Lita splashed both Helms and Torrie. Helms gave Matt a neckbreaker but missed a superkick. Up top, Lita flew off with a hurricanrana. Twist of Fate by Matt. Torrie hit a low blow on Hardy, allowing Helms to roll him up for the win.
Backstage, Austin pumped up Booker T by showing him the WWF World title. Booker companied his stomach was feeling bad. Austin said last time he ate Debra's cookies he crapped for three days.

Segment 5:
At WWF New York, Test said his loyalty lied with the WWF and he wished Kurt Angle good luck. He said he wanted the Rock to come back to the WWF, where he belongs.

Booker T d. Kurt Angle to become the new champion
Shane accompanied Booker. The brawl began in the aisle, and Angle got attacked by several members of the Alliance. Rhyno hit Angle with a gore. The WWF side ran out to take care of WCWECW members. Meanwhile, Booker and Shane hid in the crowd. Their eyes were filled with fear. Commercial for order to be restored.

Segment 6:
The match officially began with Booker slamming Angle into the safety barrier. In the ring, Angle came alive with a clothesline and followed with a belly-to-belly suplex. Shane got in the ring. Angle chased him out, but allowed enough time for Booker to get in a boot to the face. Booker bounced off the ropes with a knee to Angle's face. Angle got up and locked on an armbar, but Booker swung his foot around for a kick to the back of Kurt's head. Rest hold time. Booker used a chinlock, which Angle battled out of with elbows. Angle went back down again after a clothesline.
Angle got a seventeenth wind and overhead suplexed Booker. Backstage, the brawl between WWF and WCWECW continued. Shane put a chair in the ring. Booker got it and aimed for Angle but missed. Angle hit an elbow smash followed by a waist throw for a two count. Booker missed an axe kick and fell into the Olympic Slam. Ankle lock on Booker. Austin ran out and Angle took care of him. The referee went down. Booker got up and axe kicked Angle. Charles Robinson ran out to make the count and Angle kicked out. Angle punched out Robinson. Another Olympic slam on Booker. Austin hit the stunner on Angle. Booker covered and the original ref magically came back to life to make the count.
Angle ran after Austin while Booker and Shane celebrated…
The brawl continued backstage as Austin ran by. Austin ran into the parking lot and got in his truck. Angle made it out a little too late to catch him.

Segment 7:
Backstage, Debra offered an enraged Angle one of her cookies. Sorta. Angle said he was going to do something that Austin didn't have the guts to do. Kurt took a cookie and bit into it, spat it out, and said the cookies suck. He said Austin sucks and would break his ankle like a cookie…
Lance Storm & Kanyon d. Edge & Christian
Storm started into his serious bit and was attacked. E&C dominated, capitalizing on some missteps by Storm and Kanyon. Kanyon got back into the game by holding Christian upright for a Storm dropkick. Kanyon placed Christian in a reverse Boston crab. Storm tagged and went off the top with a legdrop. Boring chants from the crowd. Finally, Christian got the tag after a reverse DDT. Storm also tagged. Spear by Edge on Storm, but no three count. Double-team by E&C on storm. Kanyon got the US title belt and gave it to Storm. Storm missed hitting Edge, and fell into the Impaler. Kanyon ran in and dumped Edge on his head on the title belt and Storm got the pin.
WCWECW celebrated Booker T's title victory when Angle interrupted. Angle took everyone out in the room except Booker, who ran out the door.

Segment 8:
Regal cheered up an angry Vince by telling him the Rock was on his way. In Vince's car, since the license plate said Rock1.
WWF Lightweight Championship & WCW Cruiserweight Championship
X-Pac d. Kidman to become a dual champion
Kidman attacked X-Pac as he took his shirt off… Kidman hit a quick hurricanrana, but was sent to the floor by Pac. Flipping suicide dive by X-Pac. Kidman took advantage of X-Pac splitting the ringpost with a spinebuster. Up top, Kidman missed a splash. Spinning heel kick brigade by Pac. Bronco buster on Kidman. Pac went up top and Kidman countered with a dropkick. The match ended with X-Pac hitting the X-Factor off the top rope to win.
Outside, the McMahons waited for Rock to arrive. Shane said he smelled The Rock coming to the alliance. Vince noted that his car was bringing Rock in. The limo pulled up. Vince opened the door and Howard Finkel jumped out. He got lost picking up Rock. Shane and Stephanie said they would just meet Rock in the ring. Vince concurred.

Segment 9:
Backstage, the Dudley Boys promised to put Sara Undertaker through a table, if she is at ringside…and if she isn't, maybe Dallas Page will take care of her…
A shot of the Rock was shown outside the FU (yeah, fu corporate arena names) Center…

Segment 10:
Table Match
Undertaker & Kane d. The Dudley Boys
Sara came out with Undertaker. The Dudleys met 'Taker and Kane outside. UT slammed D-Von into the announce table and handed him over to Kane. Meanwhile, 'Taker beat the hell out of Buh Buh Ray on the floor. Kane went to the top rope and clotheslined D-Von. Undertaker continued to rule over Buh Buh when he saw D-Von eyeing Sara. 'Taker quickly left the ring and fought with D-Von, until Buh Buh Ray helped his partner. Buh Buh brought a table into the ring. 'Taker old schooled D-Von, unsuccessfully. However, Undertaker chokeslamed D-Von through the table…but the referee, Nick Patrick moved the wood. Dallas Page ran down and captured Sara. Sara almost went through a table until Kane saved her. 'Taker then chokeslammed Buh Buh off the top rope and through the table to win.
Backstage, Vince walked to the ring…so did Stephanie and Shane. The Rock arrived in a white limo.

Segment 11:
Vince McMahon came to the ring, followed by Shane and Stephanie. The crowd called for Rock. And out he came…
Rock posed for the crowd while the McMahons plotted. Shane reminded Rock the last time he was in the WWF, Vince screwed him. Shane rambled on and on and said Rock would be screwed again if he rejoined the WWF. Vince spoke up and defended himself, saying aligning himself with Steve Austin at Rock's expense was a bad decision. Vince said he wasn't offering an apology but was hoping he would come back to the WWF. If Rock comes back, Vince says he has no intention of screwing him, although he couldn't promise it would never happen again. Vince told Rock to trust himself and the people.
Shane said the WWF was dying and Rock had no future there. Shane told Rock to make his decision now. Vince told Rock to give the people what they wanted. Rock gave Vince the Rock Bottom. Rock shook Shane's hand…and gave him the Rock Bottom. Shane got the People's Elbow.
"Finally, The Rock has come back to the WWF."
