Opening Gambit

Well, well, well….

It has been a long time since I have had a chance to talk to you guys. With the current shake up that has been going on in the UBWF and the newly created UBWF Online, as well as my return to the ring, I have been way to busy trying to sort out things. But don't worry folks, I am here again to provide you wisdom and my thoughts on how I see things in the UBWF. In this edition of "The Opening Gambit", we will delve into the topic of what is wrong with our current champ, what the hell is wrong with some new guy, and why I am who I am when it comes to this league.

(Gambit : Noun – A remark made to open or redirect a conversation.)

Let us jump-start this commentary by talking about our champ. Yes folks, the Geek may have some serious problems. And he has had them for quite some time, yet no one in this federation has taken them into consideration. Yet, at the same time, these problems that he has can be directly related to the members of the UBWF Commissioner's Office. Sounds like double-talk? Well, look at the coin from the opposite side. The Geek was one of the original members that founded this league. And for the past six years, the Geek has not held the most prized possession in our sport, the World Championship Belt until just under a year ago. Now that he has the belt, he doesn't want to lose it. He likes the power that the belt brings to the one that is the champ. And, to tell the truth, I cannot blame him. When you finally have a chance to claim the big prize and take it home, you want to cherish the moment for as long as you can. Furthermore, he wants to make sure that feeling never goes away. And trust me, I know that feeling all too well. I felt that way when I was partners with Thunder-gut Mike Stryker. I didn't want to let it go. And, we didn't for nearly two years. The moment we lost the tag belts, I felt confused because I relied too much on the championship than my own personal career. Thus, I became lost in my own shuffle that I created. It took me nearly two years to fix my problem and become my old self, where I didn't care if I was tagging with someone, or just wrestling on my own. As long as I got the chance to kick ass the way I wanted, then that was fine for me.

When someone had screwed you over for so long of a time, you become desperate to get what you want and to keep it forever. Don't worry Sleepy, it is not your fault he is like this. It is all of your predecessors that need to take the blame. And I am just as guilty as they are.

Moving on to the next topic, what the hell is up with this new guy in town? He goes by the name of Titan. If you ask me, my fellow partner in the Posse has the right name for him, Tiny. Look Titan, I don't know where you came from, and I personally don't care. But, when you come out here thinking that you are the Big Bad Mother Fucker that can kick anyone's ass and take it all, you have a problem. You see, if you want to come in here and take it all, then you can be my guest, but bring friends, bring lots of friends since you will have one hell of a fight on your hands. It is human nature to resist those that want to oppress. And my friend, with your size, you can definitely oppress a lot of the guys in this league. Thus, I have no problem standing up to you at all and taking any challenge you want to issue. Regardless of whether I win or lose any match I fight with you as my opponent, I, The Legend Of The UBWF WILL NOT LOSE! You see, this is where the Tiny part comes in for you, since I know that you will have a hard time comprehending this. So, allow me to explain. The only way I can truly lose is if you kill me in the ring. I mean physically kill me. And, since I know that is not going to happen, I will always be the disease that you cannot get rid of. I can and will make your life a miserable and veritable hell. And, this will continue to happen until you either give up trying to get rid of me and literally beg for mercy to have this stop, or until you yourself leave this league and vow not to return. I will give you the option of letting you choose your path. Hopefully, I won't have to make life to difficult for you. Remember Titan (Sounds close to a movie title.), I am the only man to have actually called out a UBWF Champion that didn't want to take a match against me (A Match that is his specialty) and shocked the hell out of everyone in this league, brought this league back from the bowels of bankruptcy, and the only man to have the balls to stand up to you and the shit that spews from you.

Finally, I want to address the comments that have been made about the Posse and me. People have been wondering why we do things the way we do. Call us crazy, but I think that the title of mercenaries is more appropriate. That is why some of us seem good or bad, right or wrong, etc. I like to think that I want to make sure that the playing field is even when it comes to a fight. If it is not, then I help make it even, since after all, I am looking to kick some ass. I cannot and will not speak for the others on this topic, thus, you will need to ask them the same question. (Although I think that you will get the same type of response.)

In conclusion, I hope that I have resolved many concerns that you may have had on things. It is interesting to look at things as they stand from another point of view. However, I am not done yet. I have a parting shot I would like to make. It is my belief that I have caused some turmoil in the UBWF and I would like a chance to hopefully correct some of it. Geek, I am calling you out. I want a match against you if at all possible. I don't want a title shot, unless you want to grant one, but I want to take you on. We haven't fought one on one. And, I know that I can take you or any punishment that you dish. Either way, I need to make a point to the UBWF Offices and Commissioner, I think that it is time I prove that I am a champion quality wrestler, and my friend, if I beat you, then I think that I have more than just the foot in the door. Furthermore, I want to restore the honor of that belt that I once held and tarnished. I am sure that the new commissioner would be more than willing to at least grant me a chance to start working my way up the ranks to do that.

After all, this league has always said, "This is where it all begins on the way to the top!" To tell the truth, they are right.

And, to finish my quote I have created from my previous commentaries:

TIME IS NOW!

Until then…

'Ere you GO!
