Honky Tonk Man: "This is pay-per-view quality, Todd, and the folks here at NBC have decided to give our fans a real treat tonight"!
WORLD's GREATEST TAG TEAM's MUSIC PLAYS AND THEY COME OUT TO A GOOD CHEER.
Grisham: "For the first time ever, stars of the TWF and UFC will compete on the same show, on live tv"!
HTM: "It's unheard of, Todd, just unheard of"!
"PICTURES" COMES ON AND EYE SPY COMES OUT TO A HOARD OF BOOS. CANDICE MICHELLE LEADS THE RAMPAGE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS DOWN THE RAMP. THEY HAVE THEIR TITLES AROUND THEIR WAIST AND ALEX SHELLEY IS CARRYING HIS CAMERA AND TRIPOD, AS USUAL.
Grisham: "Two huge UFC fights will take place tonight but we start with a match that could have huge implications on the tag team division of Rampage"!
HTM: "You go ahead and explain that, I'll look at Candice.... wow"!
Grisham: "Well basically if M.X. Ogden can defeat Shelton Benjamin here, the World's Greatest Tag Team will not get a rematch for the Rampage tag team titles"!
M.X. Ogden w/ Candice and Alex Shelley vs. Shelton Benjamin w/ Charlie Haas This was a highly athletic, action packed way to kick off Main Event. From a collar and elbow tie up, Ogden grabbed Shelton with a standing side headlock. He had it locked in good, but Shelton backed him to the ropes, looking to push him to the other side. But with a ton of leverage, Ogden used his legs to stop his momentum and rode Shelton to the mat. Shelton got up and backed Ogden to the ropes again, this time pushing him harder to cause seperation. Ogden bounced off the ropes and kicked Shelton right in the face. Ogden then ran the ropes again but Benjamin sprung up and leapfrogged him before sending him flying across the ring with a monkey flip. The action continued as the two men traded hold for hold, but Shelton was able to catch Ogden with the dragonwhip kick, only to turn around and see Candice on the apron doing her signature spin. Haas came over to prevent his partner from getting too distracted but Shelley came around and swung the tripod at Haas. Haas luckily ducked and grabbed Shelley, sending him face first into the steel ring post. In the ring, Shelton set Ogden up on the top rope and climbed up with him, looking for a T-Bone off the top. But Ogden raked his eyes and pushed him to the mat. Shelton landed on his feet, but his eyes were still bothered and Ogden flew off with a legdrop right to the back of the head and neck and Shelton just collapsed to the mat. Ogden then rolled him over and hooked the leg to get the 1..........2..........3. Match Time: 9:14 HTM: "Oh what a legdrop! I think he knocked Shelton clean out with that one"! Grisham: "A devastating flying legdrop from M.X. Ogden has not only won him the match, but it's prevented World's Greatest Tag Team from getting a rematch with Eye Spy"! "PICTURES" PLAYED AGAIN AS EYE SPY AND CANDICE WENT UP THE RAMP TAKING IN PLENTY OF BOOS, BUT STILL CELEBRATING THE WIN. HTM: "Can you imagine going to the back and celebrating a win with someone like Candice? Plus they have that camera?! Life must be good for those two"! Grisham: "Would you get your mind out.... of never mind"! BACKSTAGE AREA....... ECW DRESSING ROOM.... CAMERAS SHOW ECW IN IT's ENTIRETY IN THEIR DRESSING ROOM. JOE COREY AND PAUL HEYMAN ARE AT THE FRONT OF THE ROOM, STANDING BEFORE THE ENTIRE GROUP. Joe Corey: "I'm gettin' real sick and tired of hearing about how ECW is weak and ECW is falling apart! We've had a rough couple weeks guys, but tonight, we re-establish our dominance! First off, I will take out Kennedy and then, O'Haire, Lashley is yours. But one other thing..... if any of you guys see Jordan Rockwell and Shawn Michaels tonight.... make them suffer"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR BUD LIGHT IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR FANTASY FOOTBALL ON CBS SPORTSLINE. RETURN FROM BREAK..... WHEN MAIN EVENT RETURNS, GABRIEL CROSS IS SHOWN GETTING READY FOR HIS MATCH LATER WITH CURRENT UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION ANDERSON SILVA. "MISTERRRRR KENNEDYYYYY" IS HEARD AND THE CROWD LOUDLY POPS WHEN KEN KENNEDY MAKES HIS WAY OUT FROM THE BACK WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. Grisham: "We are back live on NBC here and we are ready for one of tonight's featured bouts"! HTM: "Well I know being a champion is something you know nothing about, Todd, but this will be a champion versus champion match"! THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND A RED LIGHT FLASHES ACROSS THE ARENA AS "MISERIA CANTARE" KICKS UP AND PAUL HEYMAN LEADS JOE COREY OUT OF THE ECW ENTRANCE TO A SLEW OF BOOS. COREY HAS THE ECW WORLD TITLE STRAPPED TO HIS WAIST. Grisham: "It may be champion versus champion, but neither of these guys' titles are on the line"! HTM: "It's been a year since the TWF has had a Main Event here on NBC, and what a treat this will be! We heard Joe Corey tell his ECW that there were some people who would have to pay tonight and Kennedy has to be at or near the top of that list"! Non-Title/Champion vs. Champion King of Cable: Mr. Kennedy vs. ECW World Champion: "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Paul Heyman The bell sounded and Corey walked to the center of the ring, getting right in the face of Kennedy. Corey shoved Kennedy, who laughed it off and responded with a big right hand. Corey fired back with one of his own and the two began trading punches for almost 30 seconds. Corey finally got a big knee into the midsection before whipping Kennedy to the ropes and drilling him with his flying, Harley Race style knee. Kennedy caught it right on the nose and looked to be busted open. Corey pulled him up and whipped him to the corner, following in with a big clothesline. After a delay vertical suplex, Corey made a cover, but Kennedy was up at 2. Corey pulled the King of Cable to his feet and ran off the ropes, but Kennedy ducked a clothesline and pulled Corey right down with a neckbreaker. After a big clothesline, Kennedy pulled Corey up and caught him with a spin kick to the chops, showing his versatility. Kennedy made a cover, but Corey was up at 2. Kennedy kept the pressure on and he really had the ECW champ in trouble. After a flying clothesline off the middle rope, Kennedy pulled Corey to his feet and went for an irish whip. Corey reversed it but dropped his head too soon and Kennedy used a sunset flip for the 1..........2............, but referee Scott Martin ruled Corey was up, even though the entire crowd thought it was a 3 count. After a stiff right hand, Kennedy picked Corey up onto his shoulders and delivered a fireman's carry drop, a less impactful version of his "Lambeau Leap". But again, Corey got his shoulder off the mat before the count of 3. However, Corey was hurt and Kennedy saw the oppurtunity to go to the top rope. But Paul Heyman distracted him, grabbing his foot. Kennedy tried to shake him free and Martin came over, warning Heyman to get off. Corey got up and pulled Martin away as J.J. Ramplin came through the crowd and was handed a steel chair by Heyman. The Ram then cracked Kennedy in the back with it, and Kennedy fell into the ring. Ramplin jumped back into the crowd and hurried out of sight as Corey locked The Cage on Kennedy and Kennedy had no choice but to tap out. Match Time: 8:17 Grisham: "Didn't the referee see that?! J.J. Ramplin just came out of the crowd and nailed Kennedy with a steel chair"! HTM: "This is called reestablishing dominance, Todd! Everyone was starting to think ECW was weak! Everyone was starting to question their strength and I think Kennedy just found out that everyone was wrong"! "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN AND COREY LEFT WITH HEYMAN TO A LOT OF BOOS, RAISING THE ECW WORLD TITLE UP IN HIS RIGHT HAND. Grisham: "Obviously, issues still exist between Kennedy and Ramplin"! BACKSTAGE...... CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW EDGE AND RANDY ORTON YELLING AT EACH OTHER WHILE SHANE McMAHON LOOKS ON. Shane McMahon: "Enough! Do you guys want the match at MeltDown, or not"? Edge: "Like I said.... I'll face Randy, any time, any where". Randy Orton: "The same goes for me". Shane: "Then it's official, Randy Orton versus Edge at MeltDown. SHANE STARTS TO WALK AWAY, BUT TURNS BACK. Oh and one other thing. Next week on PrimeTime, you two will be in tag team action, but not as partners, I'm sick of that. So it will be you, Edge, teaming up with the Nature Boy, Ric Flair to face Randy Orton...... and John Cena". SHANE WALKS AWAY AS EDGE AND ORTON STARE AT EACH OTHER BEFORE WALKING OFF IN SEPERATE DIRECTIONS. Grisham: "So it appears that the recent miscommunications between Randy Orton and Edge have led to a match at MeltDown"! HTM: "Those are two guys who I have a lot of respect for and that should be a great match at MeltDown"! Grisham: "Well as we know, the superstars of the TWF are not the only attraction tonight! Let's send it down to our partners from the UFC.... Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg"! GOLDBERG AND ROGAN ARE SHOWN STANDING JUST OUTSIDE THE OCTAGON. Mike Goldberg: "Thanks guys and Honky, I love the suit. Joe, we have brought the UFC to San Jose tonight and we have two big fights for these fans here in the arena". Joe Rogan: "And first off, Mike, we have two guys who have both lost their last four fights in the UFC, Dave Menne and Phil Baroni". Goldberg: "Well for Baroni, his last win in the UFC came at the hands of Dave Menne way back in 2002 at UFC 39"! Rogan: "Dave Menne is known as the consummate professional, a guy who just goes about his business and a veteran of over forty MMA fights! Phil Baroni on the other hand is your typical cocky, arrogant loudmouth but he's got hands of stone, Mike! He has two bricks attached to those fists and he could knock Menne out with one punch"! Goldberg: "Well let's go up to the octagon where these two fighters are taking instructions from referee Steve Mazzagati"! UFC Fight: Scheduled for 3 rounds Phil Baroni vs. Dave Menne Mazzagati gave the word to start the fight and Baroni came out swinging. Menne seemed very focused though, dodging several punches. Menne stuck his head in to get close to the body of Baroni, hitting him a couple times in the right side of the ribs but Baroni caught him with a stiff shot to the head before knocking him up against the cage wall with a couple body punches. Menne tried to shoot and get Baroni's legs, but Baroni stuffed it. The man known as the "New York bad ass" then hit Menne with 3 more shots to the ribs and when Menne got his feet back, he threw a nasty uppercut which, had it connected, probably would've spelled the end of the match. But Menne was able to grab Baroni and use a backsweep to take him down. Baroni went into full guard and Menne still seemed very tentative, content on just keeping Baroni grounded. But Baroni began to get the best of him, even on his back until Menne landed a vicious hammer punch. This bloodied the nose of Baroni who then took 2 shots the temple from Menne's right hand. Baroni then made a cardinal mistake, giving up his back. He thought he could escape Menne's clutches but Menne locked in a rear naked choke and he had it in deep. There was less than a minute to go in the first round, but Mazzagati could see Baroni slipping away and seconds later, he tapped out. Official Result: Menne wins by submission (rear naked choke) at 4:34 of Round 1 Goldberg: "And there it is, Joe, Dave Menne gets the submission with a rear naked choke"! Rogan: "I'm a little surprised by that result, Mike, but Dave Menne's obviously still got it in him"! Goldberg: "A huge win for Menne and now, Baroni's consecutive UFC loss streak stretches to five fights"! COMMERCIAL BREAK......... A COMMERCIAL FOR DR. PEPPER IS SHOWN FOLLOWED AN NBC SPORTS PROMO AD FOR THE UPCOMING NFL SEASON. RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE..... WHEN MAIN EVENT RETURNS, JOE COREY AND A VERY EXCITED PAUL HEYMAN ARE WALKING DOWN THE HALL. Paul Heyman: "That's how you make a statement! That's how you change people's perception! What you did to Kennedy out there was great"! COREY AND HEYMAN OPEN THE DOOR TO THE ECW DRESSING ROOM, BUT AS SOON AS COREY STEPS IN, A BUCKET PROPPED ABOVE THE DOOR DROPS SOME SORT OF DARK COLORED CONCOCTION ON HIM. Corey: "What the....... COREY TAKES A TOWEL HE HAD AND THROWS IT AGAINST THE WALL. HEYMAN DIPS HIS FINGER INTO SOME OF THE SUBSTANCE, TASTING IT, BUT BEGINS TO GAG. BACK AT RINGSIDE, UMAGA's MUSIC HITS AND HE IS IMMEDIATELY BOOED WHEN HE COMES OUT ALONG WITH ARMANDO ESTRADA. Grisham (laughing): "That was great". HTM: "You would think that was funny you moron"! Grisham: "Well fans, it was a few weeks ago when Gabriel Cross issued this challenge which many thought he was crazy for doing, but after watching him train with Anderson "The Spider" SIlva back there, he seems ready"! "REPEAT OFFENDER" BT TRAPT HITS AND GABRIEL CROSS COMES OUT TO A RESPECTABLE OVATION. HTM: "Well I don't know any of these UFC guys and no offense to any of them, but they aren't Umaga! I mean, think back to what the Samoan Bulldozer did to that kid the night the UFC announced it's alliance with the TWF"! Grisham: "That incident, Umaga's vicious attack on one time UFC fighter Nick Diaz is what led to this match, because Cross considers Diaz a good friend". HTM: "Well if you ask me, Cross should've enlisted the help of all his friends tonight! He's gonna need someone to scrape him off the mat"! Umaga w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada vs. Gabriel Cross The bell sounded and Cross came out of the corner in an unusual fighting stance. Umaga lunged at him, but Cross moved and pelted him with 2 quick kicks to the legs. Umaga threw another wild swing, but Cross slapped his chest with a knifedge before kicking him two more times, trying to knot up his legs. But then Cross made a major mistake. He tried to actually throw Umaga over his body and Umaga grabbed him, smashing him with a headbutt. After a belly to belly suplex, Umaga pulled Cross up and shot him to the corner but missed a body splash when Cross moved and Cross impressively took Umaga off his feet with a back footsweep. Cross then went to the middle turnbuckle, coming off with a big stomp right to the chest of Umaga. Umaga sat up, but Cross grabbed him in a controlled position, locking in some sort of nerve hold on the trapezius muscle. But Umaga was too strong to stay down and he stood up with Cross on his shoulders, falling back into a Samoan drop. After being squashed by the impact, Cross was dragged to the corner where Umaga slammed into him with his backside after a running start. Cross looked to be out cold as Umaga pulled him up and put him right back down with the "Samoan Spike" before covering him for the 1........2........3. Match Time: 4:01 Grisham: "Well you gotta give Gabriel Cross for issuing this challenge and standing toe to toe with Umaga, but Umaga has just dominated him here on Main Event". HTM: "Ya know when you have that pesky insect in your house and you finally get so annoyed that you roll up the newspaper and swat it, smashing it's guts all over the wall?! That's what Umaga just did to Gabriel Cross"! ESTRADA LED UMAGA UP THE RAMP AS HE STUCK OUT HIS TONGUE AND HELD HIS ARMS OUT WHILE THE CROWD BOOED AND HIS MUSIC PLAYED. Grisham: "Thanks for the colorful analogy, Honky Tonk Man". BACKSTAGE...... IN THE BACK, MEAN GENE OKERLUND IS SHOWN STANDING WITH FORMER UFC LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, CHUCK LIDDELL. THE CROWD INSIDE THE ARENA CHEERS. Gene Okerlund: "Okay with me now is the man known simply as The Iceman.... Chuck Liddell! Now Chuck, you were scheduled to compete tonight against the man who defeated you at TWF Anarchy Rulz, Kevin Randleman, but some outside circumstances have prevented that". Chuck Liddell: "Well, ya know, that's the way it goes sometimes. I was ready to fight, but it didn't work out". Okerlund: "Some of our fans know, some don't, that you have actually lost two fights in a row. Have you lost your mystique inside that octagon"? Liddell: "I really hope that's not a serious question. There will be a time for Kevin Randleman and I to get it on again and when we do, I'm gonna beat his ass". JUST THEN, TED DIBIASE WALKS UP, LAUGHING AS USUAL. Ted Dibiase: "Well, look what we have here. If it ain't the Iceman! Ya know, Chuck, had you accepted my offer way back at WrestleMania, you would've never got knocked out by Quinton Jackson, and you certainly wouldn't have lost to Kevin.... whatever his name is". LIDDELL GIVES DIBIASE A LONG STARE BEFORE WALKING OFF. DIBIASE TURNS AROUND TO SEE CODY RHODES STANDING RIGHT THERE. Dibiase: "What the hell do you want, kid? Your old man need some money or something"? Cody Rhodes: "Tatanka. I want another match with Tatanka". Dibiase (laughs): "Whatever, kid? Oh, you're serious? He didn't beat your ass bad enough the last time? Fine........ DIBIASE WALKS AWAY, LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY. CODY RHODES LOOKS VERY SATISFIED THOUGH. PARKING GARAGE...... A BLACK SUV WITH TINTED WINDOWS PULLS UP. JORDAN ROCKWELL AND HIS WIFE, LITA, GET OUT AS SHAWN MICHAELS AND HIS WIFE ALONG WITH UFC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RANDY COUTURE AND HIS WIFE GET OUT OF THE BACK. THEY HAVE OBVIOUSLY BEEN DOING SOME PARTYING WHEN MARIA COMES RUNNING UP. Maria: "Hey guys.... where have you been"? "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI PLAYS AGAIN AND THE FANS LOUDLY BOO AS THE BLOOD BROTHERS COME THROUGH THE ECW ENTRANCE WITH THE TWF TAG TEAM TITLES AND THEIR MARTIAL ARTS STAFFS. Grisham: "Do you know what this means? I think Maria is actually onto something"! HTM: "Oh don't by into that crap, Todd! Jordan Rockwell and Shawn Michaels are playing everyone for fools and you heard Joe Corey earlier..... that stops tonight! Just ask Ken Kennedy"! Grisham: "Well if there is anyone in ECW out for blood, no pun intended, it's gotta be these two". THE FANS CHEER AS BOBBY LASHLEY's MUSIC HITS. HE COMES OUT AND PYRO POUNDS OFF THE SET, RAISING THE CHEERS OF THE CROWD AS LASHLEY GETS ONE OF THE NIGHT's BIGGEST REACTIONS. HTM: "You're damn right about that! These two men are the TWF Tag Team champions for a reason and they deserve better than to have what happened to them on the last PrimeTime! As far as I'm concerned, Shawn Michaels and Jordan Rockwell should be heavily fined and suspended for what they did! They're lucky I'm not running the show over there"! Grisham: "Well we do know that Bobby Lashley will get a shot at Joe Corey's ECW World title at MeltDown and tonight, he has a big test against one half of the TWF Tag Team champions, Sean O'Haire"! Sean O'Haire w/ Dustin Kash vs. Bobby Lashley Still seething over what happened last week, the Blood Brothers had a gameplan coming into this one. As O'Haire distracted referee Charles Robinson, Dustin Kash slipped his trenchcoat off and wrapped it around the head of Lashley, choking him with it. After a stiff right hand, Kash removed the coat and O'Haire moved Robinson out of the way in order to kick Lashley right in the side of the head. Lashley crumpled to the mat and O'Haire moved into the cover, but Robinson only reached a 2 count before Lashley was up. Lashley tried to shake the cobwebs as O'Haire aggressively stayed on him. After a soccer style kick found it's mark on Lashley's chest, O'Haire hit the ropes and connected with a yakuza kick. O'Haire was in firm control, pulling Lashley up and sending him to the corner. But as he ran in, Lashley charged out with a massive clothesline. After pulling O'Haire up, Lashley delivered a big vertical suplex and he covered him for a long 2 count. Lashley and O'Haire both got up and a tradeoff of punches began. O'Haire snuck in a backhand to the abdomen and after a stiff kick to the right side, he tried to get Lashley up onto his shoulders but Lashley was too big and he elbowed his way free, pushing O'Haire to the ropes and delivering a big spinebuster. O'Haire was in trouble and Kash knew it, but all he could do was sit and watch as Lashley lifted O'Haire over his shoulder but O'Haire grabbed the top rope to prevent the running powerslam. After escaping his clutches, O'Haire went for a jumping roundhouse kick but Lashley avoided it and smashed him with the spear after running the ropes, covering him and hooking the leg for the 1........2.........3! Match Time: 6:27 Grisham: "The spear connects for Lashley and he has reeled in another huge win"! HTM: "The Blood Brothers have got to do something to regroup! They face Rockwell and Michaels at MeltDown, and they're in a free fall"! LASHLEY SLAPPED HANDS WITH SEVERAL FANS IN THE CROWD AS HE HEADED BACK UP THE RAMP TO HIS MUSIC. Grisham: "And on the other hand, Bobby Lashley is steamrolling into MeltDown...... Joe Corey has a fight on his hands"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR THE U.S. ARMY IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR TOYOTA. RETURN FROM BREAK...... RINGSIDE...... "KING OF KINGS" BY MOTORHEAD PLAYS WHEN MAIN EVENT RETURNS AND MONEY MIKE COMES OUT HAND IN HAND WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON. THEY ARE GREETED BY THE LOUDEST BOOS OF THE NIGHT. Grisham: "We are back live on NBC and we've heard all day that Money Mike had a special Money Pit in store tonight and it looks like those rumors were true"! HTM: "I have been waiting all night to see what Money Mike has in store.... but I bet all these fans aren't gonna like it"! Money Mike: "Welcome to the Money Pit! THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOS I was going to have Taz on the show tonight, but because he is still nursing some injuries after the beating I gave him on Rampage, I decided to invite a very special guest tonight. So let's not make her wait anymore! Please, bring her out"! MOMENTS LATER, A WOMAN WITH LONG BLACK HAIR WALKS OUT FROM THE BACK IN A SHORT GREEN COCKTAIL DRESS. HTM: "Who the hell is she"?! Grisham: "Well this is interesting..... and we have no idea who she is"! Money Mike: "C'mon, step inside. Steph, hold the ropes open for this..... thing. THE WOMAN GETS INTO THE RING BUT GIVES MIKE A DIRTY LOOK. Thank you for joining us tonight, can you state your name for all these brilliant people in the audience? MIKE HOLDS THE MICROPHONE OUT BUT WHEN THE WOMAN TRIES TO SPEAK, HE PULLS IT AWAY. Do you really think these people care what your name is? THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE OCTAGON WHERE MIKE GOLDBERG AND JOE ROGAN ARE AGAIN STANDING OUTSIDE IT. Goldberg: "Some incredibly wild action from the TWF side of things tonight but Joe, we still have one huge fight to get to on the UFC side". Rogan: "And this is going to be a huge fight within our heavyweight division, Mike, two of the top fighters we have"! Goldberg: "Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia is one of the biggest rivalries the UFC has ever known and if their three previous fights are any indication, this will be great"! Rogan: "Tim Sylvia comes in with a 2-1 record against Arlovski, and he won their most recent fight back in July 2006 by unanimous decision". Goldberg: "These two historic UFC fighters are in the cage.... let's get it on"! UFC Fight scheduled for 3 rounds Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski vs. Tim "The Maniac" Sylvia Round 1: Arlovski came into the fight at 240 pounds, Sylvia was at 255. But it was the 6 foot 8 inch frame of The Maniac that gave Arlovski the most trouble. Arlovski used several kicks to the shins to keep Sylvia out of reach but Sylvia fired down at him with one right hand after another, most of which found their mark. Arlovski tried to stop the punishment with a takedown, but Sylvia used the cage to help him block it and he then put a knee right on the chin of Arlovski before knocking him into the cage wall with a right hook. Arlovski fired back, but Sylvia ducked and grabbed The Pitbull, driving him into the octagon mat with a takedown. Sylvia had side control, punching at the left side of Arlovski's rib cage. Arlovski fired some shots from his back and those probably did more damage than anything, but Sylvia got him into full guard and just started pummelling him with punches. Referee Herb Dean looked ready to stop the fight, but Arlovski was saved by the bell. This was definitely a round to Sylvia, and maybe even a 10-8 round. Round 2: The bell sounded to start round 2 and Arlovski had a nasty cut over his eye which was producing a steady stream of blood. Sylvia came right at him, throwing shots to the head. Arlovski, whose vision had to be muddled, did his best to avoid them before knocking the big man back with a combination to the body. But Sylvia flew in with a nasty jumping knee that caught Arlovski right in the jaw. The man born in Minsk, Belarus hit the mat like a ton of bricks and Sylvia got on top, firing 2 right hands which Arlovski didn't defend and Herb Dean had seen enough, stopping the fight. Official Decision: Winner- Tim Sylvia by referee stoppage at :31 of round 2. Goldberg: "Herb Dean has seen enough! Tim Sylvia has defeated Andrei Arlovski once again"! Rogan: "And this might be the most surprising fashion he's done it in! Sylvia pretty much dominated that fight, Mike"! Goldberg: "Tim Sylvia pretty much put his notice out to the UFC heavyweight division that he's still one of the best and fans, you don't want to go away, there's more Main Event to come"! Inter-Divisional 8 man tag team match Chris Masters, Mark Henry, Finlay and Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel vs. The Rock, Rob Van Dam, "High Octane" Damion West and CM Punk This had to be one of the biggest main events in the history of TWF Main Event. The crowd of over 10,000 people was on it's feet for most of the match. Finlay started things off with CM Punk and the one time bitter rivals locked up. Finlay took the Intercontinental champ into a standing side headlock but Punk backed him to the ropes and pushed him to the other side. Finlay came off with a shoulder block that put Punk on the mat, but when he ran the ropes, Punk sprung up and met the Irishman with a big dropkick. Tags were made on both sides and Kevin Thorn got into the ring with High Octane. High Octane seemed way too quick for Thorn and after ducking a clothesline, he dropkicked his right knee. Thorn went down to one knee and High Octane turned to knock Finlay off the apron with a superkick. But Thorn kicked High Octane right in the side of the head when he turned around before making the tag to the TWF World champion, Chris Masters. Masters brought the power aspect into the match, hammering away on High Octane with several double axe handles to the back. After a huge suplex, Masters pulled High Octane up and tried to lock in the "Masterlock" but High Octane slipped free and rolled him up for an extremely close count. High Octane then got to his corner and tagged in RVD, who caught Masters right in the mouth with a jumping spin kick. From there, RVD landed the Rolling Thunder but when he got up, Mark Henry yanked him to the mat by his ponytail. Masters then got up and tagged in Thorn but as Thorn stalked Van Dam, Punk came back in the ring and drilled the vampire with a jumping enziguri. RVD then got up and after a corkscrew legdrop on Thorn, he made the tag to The Rock. The crowd went into a frenzy as he came into the ring and pounded Thorn with a barrage of right hands before clotheslining him over the top rope and to the floor. But during the exchange, Mark Henry had tagged himself in and he stepped into the ring, staring across at The Rock, the man he will face on the next Rampage. Henry pounded his chest, daring Rock to try him. Rock threw a right hand, but Henry blocked it and dropped him with a clothesline. After a massive elbow drop, Henry picked Rock up and whipped him to the corner, crushing him with a splash. After a big belly to belly, Henry yelled into the crowd "I'm the king of the damn jungle"! The crowd responded with boos, but Henry went to the middle turnbuckle. Looking to do some serious damage, he flew off with a big splash but Rock moved out of the way just in time! From there, Rock made it to his corner and tagged in Punk. The rest of the competitors got into the ring and the fight was on but after a basement dropkick by Punk on Henry, he went to the top rope, looking for a high risk move. It proved to be too risky as Thorn grabbed his walking stick and smacked Punk right in the back of the head. Punk fell off, right into the arms of Henry who turned it into the "World's Strongest Slam" and covered him as referee Mike Chioda issued the 1.......2..........3! Match Time: 8:18 HTM: "That's why he is the king of the jungle! He just pinned the Intercontinental champion with ease"! Grisham: "Yeah, after Kevin Thorn hit him with..... whatever the hell that thing is"! "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA PLAYED AND HENRY STOOD IN THE RING WITH THE REST OF HIS TEAM.
