Fans were extremely excited about this event. Not only was it the Main Event, but it was also the TWF draft lottery. Who would go where? Fans would find out the answer to that question soon enough but first, Uprising was held and officials felt like marking the occasion by allowing some of the stars under developmental contract in The Asylum a chance to shine. Jessica Lopez vs. Miss America of Asylum The night was started off with this excellent divas contest and Miss America was able to defeat one of the pioneers of women's wrestling in the TWF, using a victory roll from the top turnbuckle to pin Lopez' shoulders to the mat. Steven Richards vs. Rex Redford of Asylum Redford is considered by many to be the top developmental superstar in the TWF and that showed in this match with Richards as he controlled about 90% of it. After a backbody drop, Redford hit the ropes and nailed Richards with a flying shoulder tackle. But when he went to pull him up, Richards got in a low blow that forced the referee to call for the bell, disqualifying him. But Richards followed up with the Stevie T before badmouthing Redford. Rob Conway vs. Captain America of Asylum Looking to really make an impact, Captain America gave Conway all he could handle. After taking Conway's best shots, America reversed an irish whip and caught him with a big powerslam before coming off the top rope with a flying clothesline. But he could only get a count of 2 and a half and after putting his head down too soon off an irish whip, Conway made the rookie pay with the "Ego Trip", getting the pinfall and surviving a scare. MAIN EVENT GOES LIVE A HIGHLIGHT PACKAGE IS SHOWN OF THE LAST DRAFT LOTTERY WITH SHOTS OF TAYLOR MADE, NEMESIS, MATT HARDY, SUPER CRAZY AND REY MYSTERIO ALL TRADING DIVISIONS. THAT LEADS INTO THE MONTAGE VIDEO FOR MAIN EVENT BEFORE MSG COMES INTO THE SHOT AND THE NOISE IS DEAFENING. ON THE SET ARE THREE GOLD TUMBLERS FILLED WITH PLASTIC BALLS WITH NAMES IN THEM. THE TUMBLERS HAVE THE LOGOS OF PRIMETIME, RAMPAGE AND SLAUGHTERHOUSE ON THEM TO SIGNIFY WHICH SHOW IS IN WHICH TUMBLER. THEY ARE ALL CIRCLING A LARGE PODIUM CONTAINING THE TWF LOGO. Todd Grisham: "We welcome you to one of the most anticipated events in TWF history, the 2006 draft lottery! Tonight, the lives of twelve men, randomly selected, will change drastically"! Honky Tonk Man: "They sure will, I mean, we could see Batista drafted to Rampage or we could see Travis Wakeman go to SlaughterHouse"! "3 MINUTES" BY 2 SKINNY J's HITS AND CRYSTAL CARMICHAEL COMES OUT WITH THE MASSIVE TEAM OF JAMAL AND ROSEY. Grisham: "The possibilities are endless Honky but not only do we have the draft, we have plenty of action tonight and we are starting with the tag team title tournament and the winners of this match will advance to Evil Intentions to face the Basham Brothers for the titles"! "BOOYAKA 619" HITS AND REY MYSTERIO POPS UP FROM UNDER THE STAGE TO A WILD CHEER BEFORE "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE CUTS IN AND MATT CRUZ STEPS OUT, WALKING DOWN THE RAMP WITH REY. HTM: "And you can bet that Doug and Danny are somewhere in the back watching this match closely and to be honest with you, I think they are the most complete team in this tournament". Grisham: "Perhaps they are, but we know that Jamal and Rosey have been one of the most dominant teams in TWF history so they have to be considered the favorites in this match. But what about Rey Mysterio? He came over to Rampage from PrimeTime in the draft last year"! HTM: "And let's not forget about SlaughterHouse. I know Jesse Steele would love to get his hands on some of these superstars tonight so that SlaughterHouse can start to prove to the rest of the world that they shouldn't be put on the back burner all time"! Grisham: "Who is putting them on the back burner? I thought they put themselves there, oh well". Rampage Tag Team Title Tournament 2nd Round Jamal and Rosey w/ Crystal Carmichael vs. Matt Cruz and Rey Mysterio Matt Cruz has had plenty of success against Jamal and Rosey as part of another team before, and he seemed to be giving Rey some advice and planning out a strategy before the match started. So the crowd was very surprised when Rey started the match off opposite the monstrous Jamal. But it was a move that paid off as Rey set the tone for the match, avoided a lunge from Jamal and then kicking the bakcs of his legs before hitting the ropes for a front dropkick. As Jamal teetered back and forth, Cruz tagged into the match and came from behind, trying to suplex Jamal but the big Samoan fell right on top of him. Rosey tagged into the match and crushed Cruz in the corner with an avalanche splash before dropping a spinning legdrop across his chest and throat. He made the cover but Cruz kicked out at 2. Jamal and Rosey made frequent tags in and out, wearing down Cruz. But after ducking a clothesline, Cruz hit the ropes and tagged in Rey who came off the ropes with a seated senton on Jamal. Rey tried to follow with a wheelbarrow bulldog but Jamal just tossed him across the ring before he could complete the move. Jamal then worked on Rey, using his size to beat him down. But Rey's never say die attitude kept him alive and after getting a foot in the face of a charging Jamal while in the corner, Rey somersaulted to the corner and tagged in Cruz. Rosey all tagged into the match but Cruz beat him to the punch and drilled him with 3 right hands before amazingly throwing him across the ring with a belly to belly suplex. Jamal came into the ring with a shot to the back of Cruz' head but Rey jumped in and kicked Jamal several times before hitting the ropes for a wheel kick but Rosey pushed Cruz right in front of the kick and Rey took his own partner out! Rosey then grabbed Rey and launched him over the top rope as Jamal went to the top rope, coming off with the "Air Samoan Splash". Rosey then fell onto Cruz in a cover and got the 3 count. Match Time: 10:17 Grisham: "Did you see that?! He threw Matt Cruz right in the way of that move from his own partner"! HTM: "And it's things like that that have made this team so successful Todd"! "3 MINUTES" PLAYED AGAIN AND JAMAL AND ROSEY LEFT TO A LOT OF HEAT WITH CRYSTAL. JUST THEN, VINCE McMAHON EMERGED FROM THE BACK TO A MIXED REACTION AND WALKED OVER TO THE PODIUM. Cole: "There's the boss"! HTM: "It looks like we're about to get this lottery underway folks"! Vince McMahon: "Okay, let's get down to business shall we? THE CROWD CHEERS Tonight, you will see the three main divisions here in the TWF, Rampage, PrimeTime and SlaughterHouse, have the ability to draw names from each other's rosters and place them on their own. Now with that being said, every single name under TWF contract is in these tumblers behind me! Anything goes and let me just say, good luck to all the superstars of the TWF! With that, let me introduce the man who runs PrimeTime..... my son.... Shane McMahon"! "HERE COMES THE MONEY" PLAYS AND SHANE McMAHON COMES OUT TO A HUGE CHEER. Grisham: "It looks like Shane-O-Mac is gonna get the first crack at this thing". HTM: "Whose it gonna be"? Grisham: "Now just so everyone is aware, each show gets four selections but they can do it any way they want. Shane could take all four of his picks from Rampage or he could take three from SlaughterHouse and one from Rampage, you get the picture". HTM: "He's going for Rampage". SHANE WALKS OVER AND OPENS THE RAMPAGE TUMBLER, PULLING OUT A BALL. HE OPENS IT UP AND GETS A SLIGHT GRIN ON HIS FACE. Shane McMahon: "Oh pops, this is a good one. It's about to get nasty over on PrimeTime cause we got Snitsky"! HTM: "What"?! Vince: "Snitsky is now officially a part of PrimeTime"! Grisham: "Boy that sure throws a wrench into your good friend Jimmy Hart's group, huh Honky"? HTM: "And if I know Jimmy, he's very upset about this". Grisham: "That's what can happen with this draft and we still have eleven picks to go"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR COCA COLA IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR DELL PCs. RETURN FROM BREAK...... BACKSTAGE.... WHEN THE MAIN EVENT RETURNS, RIC FLAIR IS SHOWN IN THE BACK TALKING TO TRACI BROOKS. Traci Brooks: "Come on Ric, he needs me out there". Ric Flair: "Axl's got a big match with Rampage's Jason Oliver tonight, one of the current Horsemen. Do you know how bad I want to see Axl win that one tonight"? Traci: "C'mon Ric, he's gotta have me out there to win". Flair: "No honey, he doesn't need you. Did you see us beat the Brood the other night? He can do this, he....... Traci: "He's not gonna win without me out there"! Flair: "Traci, please stay in the back. Axl's gotta be able to do this the right way". TRACI LET's OUT A DEEP SIGH AND WALKS AWAY, FLIPPING HER HAIR TOWARDS FLAIR WHO JUST SMILES. THE SHOT GOES TO THE RING WHERE ROB STORM IS STANDING WHILE THE CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM IS PLAYING. "SOME BODIES GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA HITS AND MARK HENRY COMES OUT WITH A VERY MENACING LOOK ON HIS FACE. HE IS FOLLOWED BY CARLITO WHO HAS A HUGE SMILE ON HIS FACE. Grisham: "It was on the last Rampage where we saw this man, the world's strongest man, Mark Henry come to the aid of Carlito and decimate High Octane". HTM: "Look at this guy Todd.... he's as big as a house"! Grisham: "We'd heard rumors for months that Mark Henry may be on his way to the TWF and apparently Carlito decided to take advantage of those and at Evil Intentions, High Octane will have to deal with this three hundred and eighty pound monster"! Rob Storm vs. Mark Henry w/ Carlito Rob Storm never had a chance in this one as he couldn't even get Henry to budge. After smashing Storm with a clothesline, Henry flattened him in the corner with a big splash before lifting him over his head and walking around the ring with him before dropping him. Henry looked at Carlito who gave aa thumbs down and Henry pulled Storm up, putting him to the mat with the "World's Strongest Slam" and he pinned him with 1 hand over his chest. Grisham: "Wow..... it seems like Carlito has found quite the problem solver here". HTM: "Who the heck is gonna stop this guy"?! Grisham: "Wait a minute, there's High Octane"! HIGH OCTANE CAME FROM OUT OF THE CROWD AND SMASHED CARLITO WITH A CHAIR OVER THE HEAD. HE THEN GOT INTO THE RING AND DUCKED A CLOTHESLINE FROM HENRY BEFORE SUPERKICKING HIM. HE THEN LOADED HIS FOOT UP AND SMASHED HIM WITH THE "HEAD ON COLLISION". HENRY ROCKED BACK AND FORTH AND OCTANE DRILLED HIM WITH THE KICK FOR A THIRD TIME, KNOCKING HIM THROUGH THE ROPES AND TO THE FLOOR. HENRY WANTED TO GO BACK AFTER HIM BUT CARLITO CAME AND PULLED HIM BACK, TELLING HIM TO WAIT. HTM: "Big mistake Octane, big mistake". Grisham: "Why is that a mistake, he's just retaliating for the attack he suffered"! HTM: "Because not only will he have to face a beast at Evil Intentions, but an angry beast"! "MAN OF STEEL" BY NELLY HITS AND JESSE STEELE COMES OUT ON THE STAGE. A FAINT "SLAUGHTERHOUSE" CHANT BREAKS OUT. Grisham: "Well here is the GM of SlaughterHouse ready to make his first selection". HTM: "He's going over to the PrimeTime tumbler". Jesse Steele: "Okay, for the first pick of SlaughterHouse........ (he reaches in and pulls out a ball and let's out a slight laugh) Jaded Menhir"! HTM: "Now that's a good pick". Grisham: "Jaded Menhir, the former Dylan Jansens, is going to SlaughterHouse"! BACKSTAGE...... MELINA IS SHOWN IN THE BACK TALKING TO BLAZE AND MERCURY WHEN VINCE McMAHON COMES UP. Vince: "Melina, can I talk to you for a minute? BLAZE AND MERCURY LEAVE THE AREA AS VINCE LEADS MELINA DOWN A HALLWAY. I had a few ideas I wanted to run by you". VINCE OPENS AN OFFICE DOOR AND PULLS MELINA INSIDE. BACK IN THE ARENA, MICK FOLEY's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HUGE CHEER. Grisham: "What is Vince doing with Melina"? HTM: "Never mind that, we've got another draft pick coming up"! Grisham: "Mick Foley is ready to make the first selection for Rampage and he's at the tumbler for SlaughterHouse". FOLEY REACHES IN AND PULLS OUT A NAME. Mick Foley: "Oh, I'm sorry SlaughterHouse, if you ask me, this is going to be a big loss. Ladies and gentlemen, the newest member of Rampage...... Charlie Haas"! Grisham: "Charlie Haas, a former Royal Rumble winner, is coming over to Rampage"! HTM: "I agree with Foley, that is a big loss for SlaughterHouse! What a draft this has been so far"! Grisham: "And we've still got plenty more so don't go away"! COMMERCIAL BREAK......... A COMMERCIAL FOR DAIRY QUEEN IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A FEW PROGRAMMING ADS FOR NBC. RETURN FROM BREAK.... DRESSING ROOM...... AS MAIN EVENT RETURNS, JIMMY HART IS SHOWN WITH MAX OGDEN AND SYLVAIN GRENIER. JUST THEN, SHAWN MICHAELS ENTERS THE ROOM. Jimmy Hart: "Oh come on Max, you can't use Michaels tonight, Sylvain is ready to go"! Max Ogden: "Look Jimmy, we already lost Snitsky, the Hart Family doesn't necessarily have a lot of momentum going for it right now so tonight, my partner will be the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels". OGDEN AND MICHAELS LEAVE THE ROOM AND GRENIER LOOKS AT JIMMY HART AND DOESN'T LOOK PLEASED. Hart: "Don't worry, we'll be alright, we're a team baby"! SHANE McMAHON MAKES PRIMETIME's SECOND SELECTION AND AGAIN GOES TO THE STARS OF RAMPAGE, PULLING OUT MARTY JANNETTY. BACKSTAGE AREA....... Grisham: "Wait a minute, what's going on back there"! CAMERAS CATCH A FIGHT THAT HAS BROKEN OUT BETWEEN STEPHANIE McMAHON AND STACY SNOW. OFFICIALS JUMP IN TO PULL THE TWO WOMEN APART BUT STEPHANIE LOOKS TO HAVE A CUT LIP. JESSE STEELE SELECTS FROM THE PRIMETIME BATCH OF STARS AND PULLS OUT THE NAME OF IDALIS, SHOWING THAT EVERYONE UNDER CONTRACT TRULY WAS AVAILABLE. TATANKA's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT WEARING HIS INDIAN HEADDRESS AND CARRYING THE TOMAHAWK HE HAS HAD LATELY. IN THE RING STANDS HIS OPPONENT, MIKE KRUEL. Grisham: "We are just about through two rounds of picks here Honky and what about that last selection? Idalis is moving to SlaughterHouse". HTM: "I guess Vince wasn't kidding, everyone truly is available. But I'm guessing that if one of these guys pulls your name out Todd, they'll throw it back in". Grisham: "Thanks, that's nice of you. Anyway, Tatanka is ready for action here against Mike Kruel and we know that Tatanka has already challenged any one of Rampage's draft picks to a match at Evil Intentions". HTM: "Yeah, how daring. Now maybe he'll show some guts and put that number one contendership on the line as well"! Tatanka vs. Mike Kruel (invitee) Kruel didn't give Tatanka, just initiated into the Lakota Indian tribe, too much trouble in this one and after coming off the top rope with a tomahawk chop, Tatanka hit the Trail's End, normally his finisher. But he picked Kruel up for a swinging sideslam manuever that he is calling the "Wykea" which translated from the Lakota native language means Thunder. That got him the 3 count. Match Time: 6:09 Grisham: "Very impressive showing here for Tatanka, the newest member of the Lakota Indian tribe. How do you think that's gonna work out for this guy who seems to be as hard to beat as anyone in the TWF right now Honky"! MICK FOLEY's MUSIC HITS AGAIN AND HE COMES OUT. HTM: "I don't know, but here comes Foley again"! Foley: "Don't go away just yet Tatanka. I've got a second draft pick to make for Rampage and I thought this would be a good time to select your opponent for Evil Intentions. After that performance, I don't know who is gonna want to get in the ring with you. So, I will ask the fine people here in New York City..... where should we go with this pick"?! HE POINTS TO THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE TUMBLER AND GETS A MILD CHEER. HE THEN POINTS AT THE PRIMETIME TUMBLER AND GETS A GREAT CHEER. Grisham: "PrimeTime it is". Foley: "Okay, here we go. (he reaches in and pulls out a name) The man that Tatanka will face at Evil Intentions.......... oh no...... is Muhammad Hassan". THE CROWD ERUPTS IN BOOS AS HASSAN's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT AND SPITS AT THE STAGE WHILE LOOKING AT FOLEY. HE THEN LOCKS EYES WITH TATANKA BEFORE RAISING HIS HANDS IN HIS TRADEMARK PRAYER. Grisham: "Can you believe this? Tatanka will now face Muhammad Hassan at Evil Intentions"! HTM: "And there is no doubt that Rampage has just drafted the most hated superstar in TWF history"! COMMERCIAL BREAK.......... A COMMERCIAL FOR RED BULL COMES ON FOLLOWED BY A PROMO FOR TWF EVIL INTENTIONS FEATURING MONEY MIKE VS. JOHN CENA. RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE.... AS THE MAIN EVENT RETURNS, MUHAMMAD HASSAN IS SHOWN WALKING DOWN THE HALL WHEN HE RUNS INTO DAIVARI. Daivari: "Muhammad, this can't be happening, you can't be going to Rampage. We have to do something". Muhammad Hassan: "There's nothing we can do and even if there was, you know that this company wouldn't allow us to do it! It's time for a new beginning and it starts at Evil Intentions with Tatanka. But if you see Bobby Lashley, you tell him that I'm not done with him and someday..... someday he will realize what I was trying to tell him and what a mistake it was that he didn't listen". CAMERAS IN THE BACK PICK UP A CONVERSATION BETWEEN VINCE McMAHON AND KURT ANGLE. Vince: "Do you understand what I'm telling you? The son of a bitch spit in my face"! Kurt Angle: "I know Vince, I know and trust me, he's gonna pay for it". Vince: "Oh I want him to do more than pay. I want him to suffer, I want him to agonize, I want to hear his bones break and I want him to plead for mercy and then beg for forgiveness"! EVEN ANGLE SEEMS A LITTLE ALARMED AT THE WORDS FROM VINCE. SLAUGHTERHOUSE GM JESSE STEELE IS OUT TO MAKE THE THIRD SELECTION FOR HIS DIVISION AND HE GOES STRAIGHT TO THE PRIMETIME TUMBLER, MAKING PROBABLY THE MOST INTERESTING SELECTION YET......... HEIDENREICH. THE HORSEMEN THEME MUSIC HITS AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS. HE PASSES HEIDENREICH WITH A GRIN ON HIS FACE. Todd Grisham: "Can you believe this?! Heidenreich, the Intercontinental champion on PrimeTime, has just been selected to go to SlaughterHouse"! HTM: "What does that do for the title? He can't take it with him, can he"? Grisham: "Well I guess that remains to be seen as it is now time for another great part of the Main Event, an inter-promotional match and may I add that Jason Oliver is coming to the ring minus Stephanie McMahon". HTM: "Yeah, she looked like she took the brunt of that fight with Oliver's girlfriend Stacy Snow". "LIT UP" BY BUCKCHERRY COMES ON AND AXL IRVIN COMES OUT TO A MIXED RESPONSE. HE TOO, IS BY HIMSELF. Grisham: "What do you mean his girlfriend, neither one of them has said that! But look at this, there's no Traci Brooks with Axl either and I believe that she is his girlfriend"! HTM: "No, she's my girlfriend". Grisham: "Yeah, and I used to play for the Yankees. Anyway, it seems that Ric Flair was able to get through to Traci". HTM: "And what a match we have in front of us here, two of the young lions here in the TWF". Grisham: "I wonder why Oliver would take a match like this so close to the biggest match of his career, a match with Shelton Benjamin for the King of Cable title". Rampage vs. PrimeTime Jason Oliver vs. Axl Irvin This match was filled with non-stop action as Axl came out with plenty of adrenaline, feeding off the momentum of his tag team victory on PrimeTime. But after blocking a double axe handle off the top rope, Oliver hit an overhead belly to belly throw before locking in a dangerous dragon sleeper. Axl would find himself in numerous submission holds during this match and had to get to the ropes to break them, which was the case here. Oliver later got in a rear naked choke and Axl was on the brink of going out but he reached down deep to get to his feet and then fling Oliver over his head. Axl then hit back to back clotheslines before picking Oliver up for a big vertical suplex. Axl tried to get the crowd behind him as he called for the "Axl Cutter". He got Oliver up for it but Oliver slid off his shoulders and when he hit the mat, he punched him in the kidneys before hitting a variation of the Stone Cold Stunner to get the 1..........2..........3. Grisham: "What a devastating move that was Honky and this will go down as a big win for Jason Oliver". HTM: "Well it's not quite the Shake, Rattle and Roll neckbreaker but I love what this kid is doing and I am predicting right now that at Evil Intentions, we will see a new King of Cable"! MICK FOLEY COMES OUT ON THE STAGE TO MAKE THE THIRD PICK OF THE NIGHT FOR RAMPAGE. Grisham: "Well here comes Mick Foley, trying to add to an already impressive night for his show". FOR THE SECOND TIME TONIGHT, FOLEY GOES OVER TO THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE TUMBLER AND PULLS OUT THE NAME OF WILLIAM REGAL. REGAL's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT, GETTING IN FOLEY's FACE. HTM: "One of the greatest pure mat wrestlers that ever laced his boots Todd, another great pick"! Grisham: "Well judging by what we are seeing, he and Foley don't seem to care for each other so I guess that great pick is just a matter of opinion! We'll be right back". COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR GATORADE IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE "SIDEKICK". RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE..... THE MAIN EVENT RETURNS TO SHOW HEIDENREICH, HIS EYES WELLED WITH TEARS, LOOKING AT THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE IN HIS HANDS. THE CAMERA PANS OUT TO SHOW SHANE McMAHON STANDING ACROSS FROM HIM. Shane McMahon: "Come on Heidenreich, you new the stipulations. The Intercontinental title is the property of PrimeTime. You are now a SlaughterHouse superstar". WITH THAT, HEIDENREICH TAKES THE TITLE AND PLACES IT IN SHANE's HANDS BEFORE WALKING AWAY AND GOING INTO A RAGE, KICKING A DOOR OPEN AND FLIPPING A TABLE OVER AS A MEMBER OF THE STAGE CREW RUNS IN THE OTHER DIRECTION. THE HART FAMILY THEME HITS AND MAX OGDEN COMES OUT WITH JIMMY HART TO A LOT OF BOOS. Grisham: "Definitely an unfortunate turn of events there for Heidenreich who had really been an excellent champion". HTM: "You never want to see a guy have to hand over a title like that but with the way this draft works, those are the breaks". Grisham: "This draft has done a lot tonight, including breaking up the Hart Family by sending Snitsky over to PrimeTime". "SEXY BOY" HITS AND SHAWN MICHAELS COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION. HTM: "Well I wouldn't worry about that, Jimmy Hart isn't the greatest manager alive for no reason, he'll figure something out". Grisham: "Who knows, maybe he'll bring you out of retirement. But Honky, for a guy who has blatantly disrespected fans the way Shawn Michaels has, he's getting quite a few cheers tonight"!
