THAT IS FOLLOWED BY AN EXPLOSIVE MONTAGE VIDEO THAT CONTAINED THE SONG "ALWAYS" BY SALIVA. FINALLY, THE PEPSI CENTER IS SHOWN AND IT ERUPTS IN PYRO AS FANS ARE SHOWN JUMPING WITH EXCITEMENT.
Todd Grisham: "Welcome to the debut of TWF Main Event and Honky Tonk Man, it feels great to be back on network tv"!
Honky Tonk Man: "All except for the part that I have to be here with you".
Grisham: "Fans tonight you will get nothing but division versus division matches! It's gonna be like the Super Bowl of wrestling"!
HTM: "It will be a historical night here in Denver Todd, just let me do most of the work"!

Grisham: "We're gonna start things off with the self professed Michael Jordan of wrestling! Do you agree with that assumption cause judging by this crowd's reaction, they don't"!
HTM: "This crowd wouldn't know greatness if it slapped them in the face Tim and I think Ultimo Dragon is making a big mistake by taking this match"!
ULTIMO DRAGON's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A GOOD CHEER FROM THE DENVER CROWD.
Grisham: "Well for the record, the name's Todd not Tim. But now that we have that out of the way, I might be inclined to actually agree with you Honky. Ultimo Dragon will of course be one of four men vying for the Lightheavyweight title at War in the Winter and to get in there and match up with the bruising style of a Rodney Mack, it can only hurt him".
HTM: "Just continue to agree with me, you'll look like you actually belong out here".
Rampage vs. PrimeTime Rodney Mack w/ Crystal Carmichael vs. Ultimo Dragon The power attack of Rodney Mack slowed Ultimo down early, especially after he put a football style tackle on him as he charged from the corner. Mack delivered a big running powerslam and then picked Ultimo up, driving him chest first into the turnbuckle area. But after ducking a clothesline, Ultimo put a jumping spin kick on his jaw before connecting with 4 kicks to the back and chest areas. He went for the Dragon DDT but Mack blocked it and went for a backdrop suplex, only to have Ultimo counter with a sit down bulldog. Carmichael tried to get involved but Rey Mysterio ran out from the back and pulled her off the apron. In the ring, Ultimo delivered an Asai moonsault after hitting the ring ropes and hooked the leg for the 1.......2.........3. Match Time: 7:59 ULTIMO's MUSIC HIT AND HIS ARM WAS RAISED AS THE FANS LOUDLY CHEERED. HTM: "What business does Mysterio have out here"! THE SHOT GOES BACK TO RINGSIDE WHERE A MEXICAN TUNE IS PLAYING AND THE TEAM OF SUPER CRAZY AND JUVENTUD GUERRERA ARE IN THE RING. HTM: "Just what the hell is Randy Orton's problem? What does he have over Sable"? Grisham: "Haven't you heard the rumors? All I gotta say is if they're true, Orton is one lucky guy". WAR ON AMERICA's MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT. ARIES IS CARRYING WITH HIM THE BLACK FLAG. HTM: "Oh please, like Sable would give him the time of day"! Grisham: "Moving on we've got tag team action and as you know Honky, Aries and Hirohito will be one of the teams facing Strife and Bahamut for their tag team titles but they might find a bump in the road in the form of Super Crazy and Juvi Guerrera tonight". HTM: "Well as you know I am a huge fan of TWF SlaughterHouse and I can tell you that Juvi and Crazy are one of the betters teams over there but I just don't think they match up well with Aries and Hirohito". Grisham: "A lot of people say that Aries and Hirohito have bit off more than they can chew when it comes to Strife and Bahamut but in my recollection, I can't remember any team taking it to them like these two have, even if it has been sneak attacks"! HTM: "Well I've been saying it for some time Grisham, tag teams don't come the way they used to and I consider Strife and Bahamut overrated"! PrimeTime vs. SlaughterHouse War on America vs. Super Crazy and Juventud Guerrera After getting past the initial attack thrown their way by Crazy and Juvi, War on America showed how good they can be. After a double clothesline on Crazy, they picked Juvi up and Aries tossed him stomach first onto the knee of Hirohito. Aries then lifted a groggy Guerrera up and headbutted him so hard he fell through the ring ropes and crashed to the arena floor. Aries then grabbed the flag and began waving it to the horrendous boos of the crowd as Hirohito hit his face plam slam on Crazy and covered him for the win. Match Time: 5:46 Grisham: "For those wondering, that pitch black flag refers to hate and that's all these two men have in their hearts"! HTM: "Well if there's two people who won't get visits from Santa Claus this year, it's these two but ya know what? They don't give a damn because the only thing on their wish list is those tag team titles and they may very well get them Todd"! Grisham: "Strife and Bahamut, be ready. CAMERAS IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA SHOW CHAVO GUERRERO TAKING A PICTURE WITH A FAN LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET BACKSTAGE. THE FAN IS HOLDING HIS LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BELT. AFTER THE CAMERA FLASHES, JASON TIGER OLIVER COMES UP. Jason Oliver: "Excuse me, Chavo"? Chavo Guerrero: "Oh, do you want a picture too? Sorry homes, that was my last one". OLIVER LAUGHS Oliver: "No, I came here to tell you that I overheard A.J. Styles telling someone you're nothing but a paper champion and he could take that title from you whenever he wants". Chavo: "Really? That's what he said huh? Well we'll see about that". CHAVO WALKS AWAY AND OLIVER LAUGHS AGAIN. THE SHOT SWITCHES BACK INTO THE ARENA WHERE JUSTIN SANE IS IN THE RING. Justin Sane: "Shane Thompson.... I know you're here tonight! At King of the Ring, I told you to show me your crazy side and I was very disappointed at what I got! So now, let's see if you've got any balls to come out here and face me one on one"! Grisham: "Justin Sane of Rampage is calling out Shane Thompson of PrimeTime"! HTM: "He can't be serious. He's not even in Thompson's class"! Sane: "Come on"! Grisham: "This is what you can expect with main event folks, although it doesn't look like Thompson is gonna answer this". HTM: "There he is"! OUT FROM THE CROWD CAME SHANE THOMPSON AND HE NAILED JUSTIN SANE FROM BEHIND. HE THEN GRABBED THE MICROPHONE SANE WAS USING AND SAID "RING THE BELL". Rampage vs. PrimeTime Justin Sane vs. Shane Thompson Using the sneak attack, Thompson was all over Sane after the bell rang, using his padded feet to kick the heck out of Sane. He then shot him to the corner and after a charging shoulder into the gut, he hit a jumping enziguri and made the cover but Sane was up at 2. Thompson seemed to be toying with Sane and he picked him up for the "Total Eclipse" but Sane used a brilliant counter that led to an elbow in the gut. After a jumping facebuster, Sane hit a high elevation knee drop right on the bridge of the nose and went for a cover but Thompson was up at 2. Sane then ripped off his wife beater tank top and tossed it into the crowd before whipping Thompson to the ropes and hitting a big powerslam. He made the cover but again, Thompson was up after a 2 count. Thompson then countered the next irish whip and kicked Sane low before hitting a jumping leg-o-matic or FameAsser. Thompson followed that with a tight swinging neckbreaker before going to the middle turnbuckle. He made the twirling finger motion around the side of his head which many people recognize as a "crazy" gesture before laughing and jumping off with a legdrop but Sane rolled away. Sane then went up to the top rope himself and came off with the Asylum Neckbreaker. The fans could sense the upset and they counted along with the referee 1.........2........, but Thompson was up. Off an irish whip, Thompson ducked a back elbow and threw a kick which Sane caught. But ot just led to a Dragon Whip kick to swing momentum back to Thompson. But off an irish whip, Sane jumped over the knee of Thompson with a rolling motion, cradling Thompson up. In the middle of the 3 count, he grabbed the middle ring rope which referee Jack Doan didn't see and the 3 count was made. Match Time: 10:14 HTM: "No way! No fricking way"! Grisham: "Justin Sane has won it! But look out"! SANE TURNED RIGHT INTO A SUPERKICK FROM THOMPSON WHO THEN WENT AND GOT A STEEL CHAIR WHICH HE POUNDED OVER THE HEAD OF SANE. SANE FELL TO THE MAT AS BLOOD TRICKLED FROM HIS FOREHEAD. HTM: "That's what he gets! He didn't show he was crazy tonight, all he showed is that he can cheat"! Grisham: "Justin Sane will get credit for the win but Thompson will be the one walking to the backstage area on his own two feet"! COMMERCIAL BREAK........ Grisham: "These two men are former Tag team champions and they will get the chance to call themselves that again at War in the Winter. We've already seen War on America tonight, but which teams provides more of a threat to the champions Honky"? HTM: "With all due respect to Ted Dibiase, I think Aries and Hirohito do but if they can get past AMW, I might change that stance"! PrimeTime vs. SlaughterHouse The Million Dollar Team w/ Ted Dibiase vs. America's Most Wanted Chris Harris and James Storm were without question the better team on this night, it just didn't come out in their favor. After rattling the Million Dollar Team with their teamwork which was dazzling. After a super kick by Storm dropped Conway, they set up Dinsmore for the "Death Sentence". But Conway got up to pull referee Mike Chioda away from the action and Dibiase pushed Chris Harris off the top rope. Dinsmore then delivered a german suplex to Storm to get the pinfall. Match Time: 6:43 Grisham: "Well that's one way to get it done, when in doubt, cheat"! HTM: "And one thing has become crystal clear to me Grisham! Strife and Bahamut have no chance of retaining the titles at War in the Winter"! BACK INSIDE THE ARENA, BATISTA's MUSIC IS PLAYING AND HE IS COMING TO THE RING WITH SABLE, NEITHER OF WHICH SEEM TOO HAPPY. Grisham: "We welcome you back to Main Event everybody and we are now ready for a big mixed gender tag team match but who will be the opponents for these two"? HTM: "Well I think this whole thing is bogus Todd! Randy Orton is threatening Sable with some kind of video tape that we all know doesn't exist"! Grisham: "Well if it didn't, then why'd she accept this match"? "TIME TO ROCK N' ROLL" BY LIL' KIM HITS AND THE CROWD LOUDLY POPS AS TRISH STRATUS COMES OUT WITH THE WOMEN's TITLE AROUND HER WAIST. SECONDS LATER, "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN HITS AND THE CROWD COMES UNGLUED AS TRAVIS WAKEMAN STEPS OUT, LOOKING AS FIT AS EVER. Grisham: "Oh my gosh! I think we just got our answer Honky"! HTM: "I can't believe this, Wakeman is back"! Grisham: "And look at the look on Batista's face! What has Sable gotten them into"? HTM: "For those that don't remember, it was Batista who created the stipulation that Wakeman could never be Universal champion again when he won last year's New Year's battle royale"! Grisham: "And speaking of that, later tonight, we will get the names of those in that battle royale this year but first, we've got this match and listen to this crowd"! Mixed Gender Tag Team Match Batista and Sable vs. Travis Wakeman and Trish Stratus Batista tried to catch Wakeman napping by attacking him from behind but Wakeman turned around and fired some hard right hands at him before putting him down with a big clothesline. Wakeman then sat on his back and wailed away with several clubbing forearms to the side of the head. After whipping Batista to the corner, he followed in but Batista moved and then lifted him up, putting him down with a big spinebuster. After a hard elbow drop, Batista tagged in Sable which forced Trish to get into the ring. But when Batista grabbed Trish, Wakeman came back in and took him to the floor with a clothesline that sent him over the top rope. In the ring, Sable tried to slow things down by choking the Women's champ. But Trish fought her way out of it and after using her Matrix move to avoid a clothesline, she blasted Sable with the Chick Kick to get the 1.......2........3. Match Time: 8:47 Grisham: "What a triumphant return! Travis Wakeman is back in the TWF and he's back where he belongs.... in the winner's circle"! HTM: "Sable and Batista had no time to prepare for this Todd, it isn't fair"! JUST THEN, RANDY ORTON's MUSIC HITS AND HE SHOWS UP ON TOP OF THE SET. Grisham: "Here's Randy Orton, what's he doing"? Randy Orton: "That was sure a valiant effort guys. But Sable, I've decided that I'm gonna show the tape because I think Batista deserves to know the truth..... roll it guys"! HTM: "Roll what"? ON THE VIDEO WALL, SABLE APPEARS IN A VERY COMPROMISING POSITION WITH RANDY ORTON. IT IS CLEAR WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND THE FANS LOVE IT. Grisham: "I.....I don't know what to say". Ventura: "Those two teams are both worthy of the titles, this may be Strife and Bahamut's biggest challenge to date". Cole: "You will also see the fourth annual New Year's battle royale and as in years past, the winner of this gets to select his New Year's resolution as it pertains to the TWF. Rob Van Dam, Rick Clark, Kid Gundam, Chaos Wolf, Mike Austin, Paul London, Luther Reigns, Rene Dupree, Charlie Haas, Heidenreich, Axl Irvin and Muhammad Hassan". "OVER MY HEAD" BY LIT TRACK HITS AND DYLAN JANSENS COMES OUT ALONG WITH JORDAN ROCKWELL TO THE LOUDEST POP OF THE NIGHT. JANSENS IS WEARING THE UNIVERSAL TITLE. HTM: "Well Rockwell was chirping about how badly he wants Christian in the ring, how about how much Christian wants him in the ring"? Grisham: "I don't think that was one of Christian's desires but if either he or A-Train could pin Rockwell or the Universal champion Jansens, it'd be a huge notch under their belt". Rampage vs. PrimeTime Christian and A-Train vs. Dylan Jansens and Jordan Rockwell Rockwell started the match off and Christian asked A-Train to get in, who ironically was part of the original New Breed. They tied up and A-Train tossed Rockwell backwards. But A-Train wasn't able to maintain control as he missed a splash in the corner and Rockwell took his legs out before tagging in Jansens. Jansens came in and worked the legs of A-Train but when he hit the ropes, Christian pulled him down by the hair. A-Train tagged in Christian who went to work on Jansens. For about 3 minutes, Christian was clearly in control of Jansens with a slow, methodic attack. But after ducking a clothesline, Jansens came back with a flying forearm and was able to tag in Rockwell. A-Train tried to come in but Rockwell and Jansens combined to double dropkick him to the floor. Christian then stumbled to his feet and Rockwell locked him in the Rock Smasher, putting him down and hooking the leg for the 1.........2........3. Match Time: 5:52 Grisham: "Well I'd say that Jansens and Rockwell are ready for that Hell in a Cell match because that was a big time win"! HTM: "I'll give them some credit, that was a big win but things will be a lot different in that cell match"! A SHOT OF DREW BLOOD, MORDECAI AND VISCERA IS SHOWN. Grisham: "Well here comes the man who has been shot caller for one week on Rampage and he still has three to go. But tonight, he came here thinking he was gonna make a match and got put in one instead"! HTM: "Well never underestimate the vengeful mind of a woman. Stephanie McMahon knew what she was doing tonight and it's a shame she'll be rooting for someone not in her division to win this match"! ROB ZOMBIE's "NEVER GONNA STOP" HITS AND SMOKE FILLS THE ENTRANCE AS EDGE COMES OUT TO A BIG CHEER. HE IS HOLDING HIS INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE UP IN HIS RIGHT HAND. Grisham: "Neither man's title will be on the line here but we did find out that Edge will defend that belt against Sean O'Haire at War in the Winter. Is it safe to say that this match is more important to Edge, at least as far as momentum is concerned"? HTM: "He needs to win it but I think O'Haire beats him either way. But one thing I can say is that Joe Corey will make sure to get Stephanie back for overturning his decision"! Rampage vs. PrimeTime Non-Title Match: King of Cable "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Alexis Laree vs. Intercontinental Champion Edge In what was a blockbuster main event that should get match of the month consideration, fans were kept on the edge of their seats with 13 near falls in the match. Joe Corey hit a wicked swinging DDT that seemed to put things in his favor. He was then trying to set Edge up for The Cage when the lights went out and the word "REVENGE" appeared on the video wall in flaming letters. Corey looked spooked when the lights came back on and Edge charged with a clothesline. Corey ducked and kicked him in the gut but when he went for an irish whip, Edge swung his arm around and kicked Corey himself, then he hit the "Edge-a-Cution" to get the 1.........2..........3. Match Time: 11:25 AS "NEVER GONNA STOP" PLAYED, EDGE GRABBED HIS BELT AND HELD IT IN THE AIR WHILE STANDING ON THE TURNBUCKLE AS THE CROWD WENT NUTS CHEERING FOR HIM. Grisham: "Edge got him! Edge has won this thing and the crowd here in Denver is not disappointed"! HTM: "Revenge is a bad term though Todd because Nemesis will not have to worry about getting any on Corey after his career ends on the next Rampage"!
