UPRISING RESULTS Like RAW and PrimeTime, Saturday Night's Main Event got started off with some great action on Uprising, featuring both divisions. Sam Wilde vs. Rob Storm This was a mat classic between two of RAW's most technically sound performers. But after catching Wilde with a glancing blow off a superkick, Storm won it with an inverted death valley driver drop. Low-Ki vs. Chris Cage (invitee) TWF scouts wanted to get a look at Cage who many have called a "young Bret Hart". But on this night, he was merely cannon fodder for Low Ki who was on top of his game, hitting his cartwheel spin kick followed by the "Ki Krush Driver". "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Alexis Laree vs. Chavo Guerrero These two traded several high impact moves but Chavo continually dealt with the interference of Laree. After catching Corey with a powerslam, he went and chased Laree around the ring. He then grabbed a steel chair and brought it into the ring with him. But the referee, who was also being looked at for a full time position, grabbed the chair. Chavo wrestled it away from him and shoved him to the mat, prompting him to call for the bell in disqualification. Chavo dropped the chair and screamed at the referee but Corey got up and grabbed the chair and crowned Chavo with it when he turned back around. Corey then stared down at Chavo before he and Alexis left to a lot of boos as the crew got the pyro ready for SNME. AFTER THE NBC LOGO IS SHOWN, THE THEME MUSIC FOR SNME HITS AND THE SCREAMING LOUD ARCO ARENA IS SHOWN. FIREWORKS AND PYRO LIGHT IT UP, ILLUMINATING THE NEAR 16,000 FANS IN ATTENDANCE. THE BASHAM BROTHERS MUSIC HITS, LEADING OUT VICTORIA AND DANNY BASHAM AND THE CROWD IMMEDIATELY STARTS TO BOO. Jonathan Coachman: "The TWF has come to Cali for it's last stop before Deadly Games which is just a Barry Bonds' sized home run away at the Cow Palace! Welcome to Saturday Night's Main Event! I'm the Coach alongside former wrestling superstar The Honky Tonk Man"! Honky Tonk Man: "Excuse me, that's former wrestling legend and the greatest Intercontinental champion The Honky Tonk Man"! MARK JINDRAK's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A GOOD POP. Coachman: "You really believe that don't you? Well folks, the Intercontinental champion Chris Tirpak will be here tonight in a wrestling holds only match against Charlie Haas, whom he'll be locked inside a steel cage with at Deadly Games"! HTM: "That's one of two cage matches at Deadly Games Cole! We could see someone burn in the other"! Coachman: "We'll get to that later but first, we have a little preview of one of the four on four elimination matches that will go down at Deadly Games with this match here and Honky, Danny Basham is one of three men that will try to help Triple H remain as enforcer of RAW"! HTM: "The game has selected three great superstars for his team and Mark Jindrak is about to find that out"! Danny Basham w/ Victoria vs. Mark Jindrak These two sized each other up but before they could get things underway, Triple H followed Spawn and Doug Basham down the ramp and they surrounded the ring. Jindrak did his best to fight them off, hitting Danny Basham with a right hand and then knocking Doug off the apron with a beautiful dropkick. Shelton Benjamin, Shawn Michaels and High Octane came out and the fight was on. Before things got out of hand, referee Jim Korderas threw the match out, a no contest his decision. Spawn got in the ring and clobbered Jindrak with a clothesline but Shawn Michaels came in and went toe to toe with the monster Spawn, only to be dropped with a double spinebuster from the Basham's. Shelton Benjamin was then taken out by Spawn with a big boot to the face and outside the ring, Victoria kicked High Octane in the groin from behind and Triple H delivered the Pedigree on the floor! "The Game" by Motorhead then hit as Triple H and his team surrounded High Octane outside the ring and then just walked away. Coachman: "Round one has gone to team Triple H.... they've dismantled team Octane here"! HTM: "When will High Octane learn? He's not in the same class that Triple H is! This is gonna be the same scene at Deadly Games Coach"! Coachman: "High Octane and his team is really gonna have to reach down deep to pull it off! Triple H seems to have Spawn and the Basham's believing that he is best for RAW as the enforcer"! HTM: "Well he is"! PRIOR TO COMMERCIAL..... BACKSTAGE.... JOHN CENA IS SHOWN IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA LOOKING AT HIS KING OF CABLE TITLE WHEN KURT ANGLE COMES UP. Kurt Angle: "Hey Cena! CENA STANDS UP WITH A CLENCHED FIST. No, don't get the wrong idea here, in case you haven't seen the board, you and I are partners tonight"! John Cena: "Yeah I know I gotta team with your ass". Angle: "Look Cena, I got a partner I know I can trust at Deadly Games but I don't wanna lose this match against Nathan Jones and A-Train tonight! Can I trust your ass"?! Cena: "Watch it Kurt, don't start talking about my rear dawg, there's enough loons runnin' around with both RAW and PrimeTime here". Angle: "Well yeah, you can say that again. Did you see that guy Chris Daniels? I mean, what is that guy on"? Cena: "Yo I just wanna know what Sable is doin' with Batista I mean damn"! Angle: "Well look Cena, we can stand here and joke all night or we can go out there and kick some overgrown ass! Are we on the same page"? ANGLE EXTENDS HIS HAND. Cena: "Yeah dawg.... CENA SHAKES HIS HAND. we're on the same page". THE SHOT FADES OUT COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR OLD NAVY GEAR IS SHOWN. TWF RE-WIND SHOWS A-TRAIN DELIVERING THE BALDO BOMB TO JOHN CENA AFTER THEY WON A TAG TEAM MATCH. A-TRAIN's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A LOT OF BOOS AS SMOKE BLOWS UP FROM EACH SIDE OF THE ENTRANCE RAMP. Coachman: "Because of that footage you just saw, this man will challenge John Cena for the King of Cable title at Deadly Games"! HTM: "I like his chances Coach, he's bigger, stronger and more experienced than Cena". CIVIL RIGHTS' MUSIC HITS AND TEDDY LONG COMES OUT WITH RON KILLINGS AND NATHAN JONES. Coachman: "Well I wanna know how Teddy Long convinced the Collossus of Bogo Road Nathan Jones to join his.... well his cult group Civil Rights"! HTM: "That's Brother Teddy Long Coach and I can assure you that there will be some payoff for Jones.... he's not doin' it for nothin'"! "BASIC THUGANOMICS" HITS AND JOHN CENA COMES OUT THROWING UP THE DOUBLE HORNS. SEVERAL FANS IN THE CROWD MIMIC THE SYMBOL. CENA IS WEARING A NICE THROWBACK PITTSBURGH STEELERS #32 FRANCO HARRIS JERSEY AND HE HAS THE KING OF CABLE TITLE STRAPPED AROUND HIS WAIST. Coachman: "Well nonetheless, Brother Long has found an insurance policy if nothing else to watch the back of the Truth". KURT ANGLE's MUSIC HITS AND PYRO POPS INTO THE AIR AS HE COMOES OUT TO ONE OF THE LOUDEST OVATIONS ALL NIGHT. HTM: "Well before we go any further Coach, I would like to assure all the fans of the Honky Tonk Man that I will not be Kurt Angle's partner at Deadly Games"! Coachman: (sarcastically) "Oh I bet they're heartbroken but Honky, speculation is abound as to just who that partner will be. But I know some of the hardcore fans of RAW out there watching will remember the fact that John Cena confronted Kurt Angle the night he returned to RAW via trade". HTM: "That's right.... Cena punked him out"! Coachman: "Well I don't know about that but I do know that they are not exactly friends and they face two of the biggest men in the TWF tonight"! A-Train and Nathan Jones w/ Civil Rights vs. John Cena and Kurt Angle As the bell sounded, Cena stood across from the monstrous Nathan Jones. Cena ducked a clothesline and caught Jones with a right hand that rocked him backward. He then bounced off the ropes and knocked him back a foot with a clothesline but still couldn't take him off his feet. Cena hit the ropes again but this time, Jones drilled him with a big boot to the face. He then lifted Cena up with a gorilla press and just dumped him on the mat. A-Train tagged in and was just salivating as he waited for Cena to get up and when he did, he charged in with an avalanche splash but Cena moved and blasted him with successive right hands before going for a whip to the corner. But A-Train reversed it right into a heavy clothesline before hitting the ropes for a huge splash. A-Train hooked the leg and got 1......2....., but Cena powered out of it. A-Train then hit him with a couple haymakers before grabbing him by the back of the head and ramming him face first into Jones' boot. Jones tagged back in and stayed on Cena with some big boots. But off an irish whip, Jones put his head down too soon and Cena kicked him right in the chest. Jones let out a battle cry and went for a clothesline but Cena avoided it and kicked him in the gut and hit a big DDT. Cena than crawled to his corner at the urges of the fans before tagging in Angle. Angle came in with a head of steam and just laid into Jones with right hand after right hand. A-Train slapped Jones' back, tagging himself in but Angle didn't see it and he clotheslined Jones over the top rope to the floor. Long and Killings went to check on Jones as Angle turned around to catch a pump kick from A-Train right in the chops. A-Train hooked the leg and got 1......2......., but Angle shot his right shoulder off the mat. A-Train pulled him up and shot him to the corner but when he charged in, no one was home. Cena came in and muscled A-Train up for an impressive "F-U". As referee Charles Robinson forced Cena back to his corner, Angle slapped the ankle lock on A-Train and before Jones could get in to make the save, he tapped out. Match Time: 7:02 Coachman: "A-Train has tapped out! Cena and Angle have won heading into Deadly Games"! HTM: "But they're not gonna look like winners"! AFTER TAKING CENA OUT WITH A SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK, JONES PULLED ANGLE UP SO KILLINGS COULD DELIVER "THE TRUTH HURTS". CIVIL RIGHTS' MUSIC THEN HIT AS THEY LEFT TO A LOT OF BOOS, LEAVING ANGLE AND CENA LAYING. BUT JUST FOR GOOD MEASURE, A-TRAIN PULLED CENA UP AND DELIVERED THE "TRAIN WRECK" TO HIM. Coachman: "Some parting shots from Civil Rights before Deadly Games and again A-Train has left his former partner lying! What has gotten into him"?! HTM: "Well all I know is Angle better have a good partner selected"! Coachman: "Well folks, about two weeks ago, we saw Rey Mysterio suffer one of the most heinous acts in TWF history at the hands of the FBI on PrimeTime". HTM: "With help from Ted Dibiase". Coachman: "Take a look". REPLAY IS SHOWN OF MYSTERIO BEING ATTACKED BY THE FBI AND THEN DRAGGED BEHIND A MOVING VEHICLE. WHEN LIVE ACTION RETURNS, REY MSYERIO IS SHOWN SITTING ON A COUCH ON THE TWF TRON AND THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERS. Coachman: "Well folks, Rey Mysterio joins us live now via satellite from his home in San Diego! Rey, how ya doin'"? Rey Mysterio: "Well I'm doin' okay Coach, I'm relaxed. I've gotten to see my kids for about ten days now so I'm relaxed". Coachman: "Now, a lot of speculation is going around that you may not be able to compete at Deadly Games. Is that true"? Mysterio: "Well Coach, obviously I won't be one hundred percent. But everyone knows that their aren't three elements... there's four so you can bet I'm gonna be there"! FANS CHEER HTM: "Mysterio, I got a question if you don't mind. Are you sure you won't be hindering your team by competing"? Mysterio: "Ya know Honky, I think the miracle ear you ordered is malfunctional. I just said that we are a foursome, it doesn't work if there's only three of us. FBI, Million Dollar Corporation, you're gonna have to deal with earth, water, fire and wind and you can bet that in San Francisco, the six one nine and the West Coast Pop are gonna be in the house". Coachman: "We thank you for your time Rey, see you at Deadly Games"! HTM: "I don't like that guy". THE LAUGH OF THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN FILLS THE LOUDSPEAKERS AS "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" HITS. DIBIASE COMES OUT ALONG WITH CHARLIE HAAS. Coachman: "Well you know Ted Dibiase can't be happy about that announcement because his other two guys, Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore will be part of that four man team at Deadly Games"! HTM: "Dibiase's got the Elements right where he wants them. I've known Dibiase for a long time Coach and trust me, everybody's got a price"! "TNT" BY AC/DC HITS AND CHRIS TIRPAK COMES OUT TO A BIG CHEER WITH THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST AS MOST OF THE FANS GET ON THEIR FEET. Coachman: "Well one man who's proved he doesn't have a price is this man and at Deadly Games, he will face Charlie Haas in the match he selected... a steel cage match in which the Intercontinental title will be on the line"! HTM: "Well the title won't be on the line tonight but I think Charlie Haas has really come up with a good idea with this wrestling holds only match. He really has a chance to expose Tirpak for what he really is in the ring". Coachman: "There will be no punches, no kicks and we all know about Charlie Haas' wrestling background, a former standout at Seton Hall but we don't know what, if anything, Tirpak can do on the mat as he's built his career as a brawler". HTM: "We're about to see it and I think Tirpak is gonna be embarrassed". Non-Title/Wrestling Holds Only Charlie Haas w/ Ted Dibiase vs. IC Chris Tirpak To the surprise of many, Tirpak took Haas down after a go behind and locked in a front facelock. Tirpak then rode Haas into a standing waistlock but Haas came back with a shoulder toss over his body into a front facelock of his own. Tirpak worked his way up and took Haas into a standing hammerlock. Haas dropped to one knee looking to fling him over again but Tirpak wrenched the hold in tighter. Haas went for a back elbow with his free arm but Tirpak ducked and delivered a release german suplex into a cover but Haas was up at 1 1/2. Tirpak pulled him in with a side headlock but Haas shot him to the ropes and upon coming back, rolled him up into a half crab. Haas had the hold in good but the strength of Tirpak allowed him to push Haas off, sending him through the ring ropes and to the floor. Dibiase got up on the apron, looking to distract Tirpak but referee Mike Chioda came over to stop it before it started. But during this, Haas came back into the ring and kicked Tirpak straight in the groin. He then got behind him and delivered a gorgeous german suplex into a bridge as Dibiase told Chioda to turn and count the 1......2......3. Match Time: 6:34 HTM: "He got him! Boy they much have a great wrestling Coach at Seton Hall, Haas is fabulous"! "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYED HAAS AND DIBIASE UP THE AISLE AND DIBIASE LAUGHED AS TIRPAK GRABBED HIS CROTCH AREA AND LOOKED AT THEM BOTH IN ANGER. Coachman: "Well I'd like to know when a punt to the groin became a wrestling hold but at Deadly Games, Tirpak has got Haas in a cage and Dibiase will be on the outside looking in"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR AUTOTRADER.COM IS SHOWN RETURN FROM BREAK.... EARLIER TODAY....... TWF CAMERAS WERE AT THE SOUTH DAKOTA HOSPITAL WHERE AUSTIN PYROMANIA HAD BEEN STAYING SINCE BEING INJURED AT THE HANDS OF NAILS WITH A FIRE POKER. AS HE LAY IN A HOSPITAL BED, STACY KIEBLER SAT NEXT TO HIM WHEN BILLY GUNN ENTERED. Billy Gunn: "How's he doin'"? Stacy Kiebler: "He's getting better, still having trouble talking". Gunn: "Is he gonna be able to help us out at Deadly Games". Stacy: "Well, I tried to talk him out of it but one thing he has said today is that Nails is all his at Deadly Games". THE CAMERAS FOCUSED IN ON PYROMANIA WHO WAS IN A DEEP SLEEP. THE SHOT THEN CUT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND BACK TO THE ARENA WHERE KID GUNDAM AND CHRISTOPHER DANIELS WERE IN THE RING, DANIELS' MUSIC PLAYING. Coachman: "Our best wishes go out to Pyromania but right now, we've got tag team action from the PrimeTime division"! THE ULTIMO DRAGON's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP AS FLAMES SURROUND THE RAMP. PAUL LONDON COMES OUT BEHIND THE DRAGON AND RUNS TO THE RING. HTM: "Well I've been watching PrimeTime regularly and I can't figure out what to make of the relationship between Gundam and Daniels but in some weird way, I like it"! Coachman: "Well you and Greg Valentine formed Rhythm and Blues once but I really like what I've seen from this tandem of London and the Dragon, two guys who don't appreciate the things that have been said about Japan by not only Daniels but Gundam and his new crones, Akio and Sakoda"! HTM: "Come on Coach, you work for RAW, you can't be a PrimeTime guy"! "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Kid Gundam vs. The Ultimo Dragon and Paul London London and Gundam started things off here and it was Gundam who got the upperhand early with a snap mare and a stiff kick to the back. Gundam then tagged in Daniels and held London down by the arms as Daniels shot himself in with a legdrop from the apron. Daniels then pulled London up and blasted him with a couple knifedge chops before whipping him to the corner but when he charged in, London moved and he posted his shoulder. London then caught him with a dropkick in which he did a complete flip before tagging in Ultimo who came in and caught Daniels with some thrusts to the throat followed by a big knifedge. Ultimo went for an irish whip but Daniels countered it and lifted him up onto his shoulders, delivering a torcher rack drop. Daniels made the tag after hanging Ultimo over the top ring rope and Gundam stood on the bottom rope and came into the ring with a wicked tornado ddt on Ultimo. He covered him but could only get a 2 count. Gundam then dropped a big knee across his forehead before making another tag. Daniels came in and wore the Dragon down some more before setting him up on the top rope. He then climbed up and went for a frankensteiner but Ultimo grabbed the top rope to block it, sending Daniels crashing to the mat and Ultimo made the tag from the top rope. London came in and cracked Gundam with a running forearm as Daniels got up, unaware a tag had been made. Ultimo pointed over his shoulder and when Daniels turned, London hit a running enziguri and Daniels went down hard. London rolled him over to get the 1.....2......3. Match Time: 7:28 Coachman: "Oh what a shot! Paul London and the Ultimo Dragon have done it again"! HTM: "That was lights out for the Fallen Angel"! Coachman: "Another big win for this team but I think this situation is far from over"! BACKSTAGE.... THE UNDERTAKER IS SHOWN TALKING WITH A MEMBER OF THE BACKSTAGE CREW WHEN STRIFE COMES UP. Undertaker: "Hey man, what's up"? Strife: "Not much bro, just wanted to stop by and say that if you need me at the pay-per-view, I gotcha back". Undertaker: "Alright man, but only if I really need it. I wanna teach Nemesis some respect the old fashion way". Strife: "No problem". STRIFE AND UNDERTAKER KNOCK FISTS AND STRIFE WALKS AWAY. THE CAMERA FOLLOWS HIM AND WHEN HE TURNS THE CORNER, BROCK LESNAR IS STANDING THERE. Brock Lesnar: "Oh look, it's one half of what they used to consider the greatest tag team the TWF ever saw. Listen Strife, I've got this House of Horror match tonight and after Batista and I win.... no one will think of you and Bahamut as that team anymore". Strife: "Ya know Lesnar, I wish you were on RAW so I could show you what I do to people who get on my tracks". STRIFE WALKS PAST HIM, KNOCKING SHOULDERS AS HE DOES.
“Wherever I May Roam" hits and “The Show” Joe Corey comes to the ring with Alexis Laree. Corey is dressed in a black suit with a gray shirt and Alexis is wearing a short black dress. Coachman: "Well here comes Joe Corey who we saw compete on Uprising earlier tonight but Honky, I don't have this on my schedule". HTM: "He's asking for the mike but wow, look at Alexis"!
Joe Corey: "You know, I have wrestled in a lot of different promotions and a lot of different countries over my illustrious career. Some people don’t realize this, but outside of RAW, there still is wrestling on this planet. And in all of the places I have worked, I have been considered to be one of the best to ever step foot into the ring. Not only that, but there is one other thing that I have been told continuously, but I never took it seriously. That one thing is to never trust a McMahon. I never gave much thought to this, mostly because I didn’t think it was possible for a person to be as devious as people made the McMahon’s out to be. But soon, I realized that if I ever wanted to make a name for myself in my home country, I would have to come to the TWF. That is why I am here, and what do I get, a former porn star trying to capture some faded glory at my expense. Well you know what, I was not about to sit around to take that. Val Venis, you did everything you can to disrespect me, and what did I do? I sent you out of this business for good. But that was when I had to realize, first hand, that all of those people from my past were right. I beat you so bad that you had to go and get yourself disqualified just to be able to leave with your faculties in tact and that is when your guardian angel, Stephanie McMahon, showed up. Now Val, you are not a dumb man. You know, I know, and all of these people know that I am not done with you. That is why at Deadly.....
“All Grown Up” hits and Stephanie McMahon comes to the ring. Coachman: "It's the boss"! HTM: "It's your boss Coach, not mine"!
Stephanie McMahon: "I’m sorry Joe, but were you about to say something about Deadly Games"?
Joe Corey: "As a matter of fact you no good bitch, I was about to say something about Deadly Games. See, if it wasn’t for you, and your no good ass, I would be done with this cancer that I am calling VD Venis. Therefore, at Deadly Games, VD.....
Stephanie McMahon: "Joe, I am sorry to tell you this, but when it comes to Deadly Games, I am giving Val Venis the night off"!
Joe Corey: "Are you fu… you know what, nevermind. I have decided to close that chapter of my career. I will get back at Venis when I feel it is the right time to open that book up again. But you know what, I don’t think you are going to be that lucky. I’ve seen you walking around here for the last couple of months since Triple H became the enforcer of RAW. You just haven’t been the same owner that you once were. I think that is why you are looking to take me down a step or two. You want to show everyone that you are just as powerful as Triple H, which is going to blow up in your face".
Stephanie McMahon: "You know what, you’re right Joe. I feel so threatened by Triple H that I am going to go through you to fix it. That is why there will be a match at Deadly Games, which you are not involved in, that will decide if Triple H will still be the enforcer of RAW. So Joe, have fun watching Deadly Games, because you are not going to be involved in it"!
Joe Corey: "I guess you are right Stephanie, I am not scheduled to be at Deadly Games. But what kind of employee would I be if I wasn’t there to support my boss on Pay-Per-View. And let me just say that you are completely wrong about Triple H. He is not going to be going anywhere after Deadly Games, I have a good feeling about it"!
“Wherever I May Roam” hits and “The Show” and Alexis leave the ring. Stephanie McMahon smiles. Coachman: "What is that supposed to mean"? HTM: "Oh come on Coach, I have the same feeling! You don't think Triple H and his team are really gonna lose to those low lifes... do you"? A PROMO FOR DEADLY GAMES IS SHOWN BUILDING THE FLAMING CAGE MATCH FOR THE UNIVERSAL TITLE BETWEEN BAHAMUT AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN. THROUGHOUT THE PROMO, BAHAMUT's VOICE CONTINUALLY SAYS "YOU DESERTED ME" AS CLIPS OF BOTH MEN IN ACTION ARE SHOWN. THE PROMO ENDS WITH BAHAMUT SAYING "YOUR TIME HAS COME... WELCOME TO MY GAME"! BACK TO LIVE ACTION, "IN MY DARKEST HOUR" BY MEGADEATH HITS AND NEMESIS SLOWLY WALKS OUT IN HIS TRENCHCOAT TO THE BOOS OF THE CROWD, A STOIC LOOK ON HIS FACE. Coachman: "Deadly Games is gonna be hot Honky and the match I'm looking forward to is our World title match in which this man will face the deadman and Honky, I remember when this man used to be a fan favorite and it was The Undertaker who wanted to help make him even bigger"! HTM: "Well the paint that hides his face is very sacred to him Coach and from what I hear is he's scarred up pretty bad. The Undertaker tried to get him to take it off for these people"! "VIVA LA RAZA" HITS AND EDDIE GUERRERO COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP. Coachman: "How does anyone know what it looks like? No one has ever seen it"! HTM: "I'm just going off what I've heard Coach"! Coachman: "Well in any event, this match was set up by Stephanie McMahon as both a warm up for Deadly Games and his World title match but also as a punishment for what he did to The Undertaker with Triple H's sledgehammer"! HTM: "What?! Who said it was Triple H's hammer"?! Nemesis vs. Eddie Guerrero Latino Heat gave Nemesis all he wanted as the #1 contender did not seem totally focused. Eddie peppered him with a series of right hands and a big dropkick. He then went to the top rope for his Frog Splash but it was too early as Nemesis rolled out of the way. Nemesis then hit the ropes and dropped a big leg across the back of Eddie's head. From there, he put the boots to his bare chest before pulling him up and locking in a big bear hug. Eddie was able to drape his right arm over the top rope and referee Jack Doan had to force Nemesis to break the hold. Nemesis slung Eddie to the mat and then went outside the ring, tossing timekeeper Mark Eaton to the floor and grabbing his chair. Nemesis got into the ring with it but Eddie popped up and dropkicked him in the knee. Eddie then hit the ropes and caught Nemesis with a flying forearm that knocked him to the mat. Eddie picked up the chair and tossed it through the ropes to the floor but when he turned around, Nemesis was waiting with a huge chokeslam in which Eddie landed right on the back of his head. Nemesis covered Eddie and hooked the leg very loosely, still getting the 3 count. Match Time: 7:00 HTM: "Chalk it up... Undertaker, he's coming"! Coachman: "Nemesis' shortcomings in big matches have been well documented throughout his career but maybe, just maybe, this savage persona will take him to the top"! JUST THEN, "DEADMAN WALKIN'" IS HEARD IN THE UNDERTAKER's VOICE AS "YOU'RE GONNA PAY" PLAYS AND THE UNDERTAKER COMES OUT ON THE STAGE WITH A MIKE IN HAND TO EASILY THE BIGGEST REACTION ALL NIGHT. HTM: "Wait a minute..... Coachman: "We might have Deadly Games right here"! Undertaker: "Hold on there Nemesis, don't worry, I'm not gonna lower myself to your level and attack my opponent before the match. But one thing I will tell you is that at Deadly Games... I'm gonna make you and that hidden face of yours famous"! THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERS AS "YOU'RE GONNA PAY" HITS AGAIN. NEMESIS LOOKS AT THE UNDERTAKER WITH A BLANK STARE. HTM: "What's that supposed to intimidate Nemesis? I don't think so deadman"! Coachman: "A stern warning from The Undertaker"! BACKSTAGE.... TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SHOWN HITTING A PUNCHING BAG, PREPARING FOR HIS UPCOMING MATCH WHEN TRISH STRATUS COMES IN, HOLDING ANOTHER BOUQUET OF FLOWERS. Trish: "Hey Trav, look what I got". WAKEMAN STOPS HIS WORKOUT AND TURNS Travis Wakeman: "Again"? TRISH COMES AND HUGS HIM Trish: "You're so sweet". Wakeman: "I told you, it's not me. But I know one thing, we better find out who it is". Trish: "Promise it's not you"? Wakeman: "Yeah, it's not me. But I got a match to go get ready for and I think maybe you should just stay back here tonight. It's obvious something weird is going on". Trish: "Well I wanna..... Wakeman: "Just stay back here, I'm gonna go beat Mortis and then I'll be right back. I just don't want you in such a public place". TRISH SIGHS IN FRUSTRATION AS THE SHOT FADES OUT. COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR THE NEW TWF FIGURES IS SHOWN.... COMING SOON! RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE.... AS SNME RETURNS, MORTIS' MUSIC IS PLAYING AND THE LIGHTS ARE OUT. HE STANDS IN THE RING, AWAITING THE ENTRANCE OF TRAVIS WAKEMAN. HTM: "We're back"! "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN HITS AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE DANGLING FROM HIS RIGHT FIST. Coachman: "That we are and in just days from now, this man will walk into a flaming cage to defend his Universal title and Honky, he could be walking into a nightmare". HTM: "Bahamut wants to see how tough Wakeman is but speaking of nightmares, Wakeman could have one tonight"! Coachman: "Well this is something that goes a lot deeper than a toughness test but you're right, Mortis should give Wakeman all he wants tonight". Non-Title Match: Mortis vs. UC Travis Wakeman The bell sounded to get this one started and Wakeman became very aggressive right away. Off a collar and elbow tie, Wakeman used a standard go behind into an amatuer takedown before just hammering Mortis in the back of the head. Wakeman pulled him up but Mortis reversed an irish whip and stuck a knee in Wakeman's gut. Mortis then shot Wakeman to the corner before grabbing his arm, looking for a tornado shoulder ddt but Wakeman tossed him across the ring and when he landed, Mortis was caught with a big clothesline. Wakeman then went to work on the lower back of Mortis, hitting a pendulum backbreaker before locking in a bow and arrow. Mortis struggled through the move but Wakeman just broke it, whipping him to the ropes and catching him with a big powerslam. Wakeman hooked the leg but Mortis kicked out at 2. Wakeman would get 3 more near falls in the next couple minutes as Mortis showed a lot of resiliency. Mortis got up and turned a clothesline attempt into a quick russian leg sweep right into a cover but Wakeman was easily out. After reversing an irish whip into a spinebuster, Wakeman locked in the Round Table and it looked like it was all over but Mortis was able to extend his leg to the ropes to break the hold. As Wakeman questioned referee Mike Sparks as to why the hold was broken, Mortis came from behind with a double sledge to the back. He then lifted Wakeman onto his shoulders and climbed up to the middle turnbuckle with him, coming off with an amazing samoan drop. Mortis hooked Wakeman's inside leg and got 1.....2....., but Wakeman was up. Mortis stayed on him, going for a vertical suplex but Wakeman reversed it, holding onto Mortis and kneeing him in the abdomen before hitting the Stroke of Bad Luck, virtually out of nowhere to get the 1.......2.......3. Match Time: 8:00 Coachman: "Wakeman has survived but Honky, will he survive at Deadly Games"? "MAKE WAY" HIT AND WAKEMAN GRABBED HIS TITLE BEFORE WALKING UP THE RAMP. HTM: "Wakeman has a number of things to worry about Coach, like who is sending Trish these flowers"! Coachman: "I'm sure that's a matter for another time, Wakeman's gotta be concerned with getting through this cage match at Deadly Games..... a cage that will be engulfed in flames". HTM: "Well are you ready for this next match"? Coachman: "Folks, it's called House of Horror, it's only happened once in TWF history.... let's take a look at how this match has come about". But Lesnar was able to block one and throw Rockwell head first into one of the crates. Meanwhile, Batista and Rhyno traded shots as Lesnar made a break for the door. But Rockwell got up and grabbed Lesnar's leg, knocking him down with a back footsweep. Rhyno then whipped Batista into the wall, putting a small indention in it and then he went and grabbed a trash can. He threw it at Batista and Batista instinctively caught it, only to have Rhyno kick it into his face. Rhyno went for the door but Brock cut him off at the pass with a vicious clothesline. Brock opened the door but Rockwell ran over and kicked it shut before knocking Lesnar down with a straight right hand. Batista came from behind and picked Rockwell up, despositing him on the concrete with a spinebuster. Batista looked ready to go out the door until Rhyno came over with a flourescant lightbulb and broke it over his back. Tiny particles of glass stuck out of Batista's back as Rhyno stood over him. Sable is the champs' manager and she has every right to be in there"! Stone Cold: "Trust me, she doesn't wanna go in". Thompson: "Listen Ric, we were asked to do a job by Shane McMahon and there is no way, no hell that you are getting past us"! Back inside the warehouse, Batista was fighting through the pain, trading shots with the manbeast as Rockwell came off the top of a forklift, crashing through the wooden crate and Lesnar with a legdrop. Rockwell made his way towards the exit when out of a hidden area came a masked man with a 5 foot long metal pole and he lashed it across Rockwell's ribs. Batista was able to fend off Rhyno as the assailant removed his mask.... it was Randy Orton! Batista, glass sticking out of his back and all, pushed the door open and left the warehouse to win the match. As he got outside, he began to laugh in the faces of Austin and Thompson. Sable and Flair came over to congratulate as Hebner came out and raised his hand. Seconds later, Lesnar limped out of the building and slammed the door shut. He then looked at Austin and Thompson. Brock Lesnar: "See you buys at Deadly Games"! OFF AIR.......
