THE VOICE CUTS OUT AND LEADS INTO THE OFFICIAL ROYAL RUMBLE MONTAGE VIDEO AND "FIGHT" STARTS TO PLAY.
THE RBC CENTER IS FULL OF NOISE AND ENERGY AS CAMERAS PICK UP ON THE PAY-PER-VIEW BROADCAST. FANS ARE SHOWN YELLING AND CHEERING IN ANTICIPATION OF THINGS GETTING UNDERWAY AFTER A HUGE CROWD OF NEARLY 19,000 FANS HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED. THE ROYAL RUMBLE SET HAS THE 2011 LOGO CONSTRUCTED IN METAL ABOVE THE STAGE. A LARGE COUNTDOWN CLOCK ADORNED BY THE TWF LOGO IS ON TOP OF THAT. Jim Ross: "This is TWF pay-per-view at it's finest! One of the biggest events annually, what an event this is"! Jerry Lawler: "I can't wait for this one, J.R.! So many huge matches tonight aside from the most exciting match of the year, the Royal Rumble"! THE CAMERA SHIFTS OVER TO THE PRIMETIME BROADCAST POSITION WHERE SCOTT HUDSON AND PJ CASH ARE SEATED. Scott Hudson: "The luck of the draw is what it's all about tonight, PJ as eight of the eleven Royal Rumble winners have entered that match number twenty six or higher". PJ Cash: "It's not to say that the man who draws number one can't win it, but the odds are certainly stacked against him". Hudson: "And aside from that match, which will guarantee a spot in the main event of WrestleMania, the TWF Universal title will be on the line when Joe Corey defends against Kevin Thorn". Cash: "Clearly one of the biggest challenges Corey has ever faced. Personally, I'm ready to see what The Show is really made of". "BREAK THE WALLS DOWN" COMES ON AND CHRIS JERICHO STEPS OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS. Hudson: "And we are going to start things off tonight with a match that has instant classic written all over it". Cash: "Chris Jericho and Evan Bourne have gone back and forth for months now and tonight, in a two out of three falls match, we find out who is the best and if you ask me, tonight Jericho will show everyone that the loss he suffered to Bourne was nothing but a fluke. I mean come on, Jericho is in another league compared to Bourne". "BORN TO FLY" PLAYS NEXT AND EVAN BOURNE IS OUT TO A WILD RESPONSE. HE HAS THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST AS HE HEADS TO THE RING. Hudson: "I'm not buying into that. In fact, I feel Evan Bourne has been a great Intercontinental champion and a win here over Jericho would solidify his claim as a guy on the verge of main event status". Cash: "Because of what? Because he's beaten Kofi Kingston? This is gonna be a long night if you really believe that, Hudson! I'm tellin' you..... this is Chris Jericho.... one of the best in the world! Evan Bourne..... prepare to be outclassed"! Hudson: "How about we just call the match? Ya know, when you applied for your position, did they tell you that you were supposed to remain unbiased? It's called professionalism, Cash". Cash: "Keep pushin' me Hudson.......... 2 out 3 Falls/TWF Intercontinental Title Match Challenger: Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne The bell sounded to start the first fall and Jericho seemed tentative to lock up whilst Bourne was rather eager. Bourne advanced in but Jericho stuck his head between the top and middle ropes to force referee Charles Robinson to back the champion off. Jericho then charged out looking to surprise him with a clothesline, but Bourne avoided that and caught Jericho with a spin kick to the abdomen. He then climbed the shoulders of Y2J and rolled forward into a pinning predicament to get a 2 count. Back to the feet and Bourne struck with some knifedge chops before shooting the challenger into the corner. Bourne ran in looking for a monkey flip but Jericho blocked it by holding onto the ropes. He followed that up with a jumping enzugiri that put Bourne right back down. Jericho topped him and hooked a leg but Bourne pushed him off after Robinson reached a 2 count. Jericho was able to muscle Bourne into the corner before belting him with his own chops. Jericho's seemed to have much more steam on them and he was turning the chest of Bourne red. After a snap suplex, Jericho ran the ropes and went for the Lionsault. Bourne got his knees up but Jericho sensed that and landed on his feet, grabbing the legs of Bourne. The fans screamed as they could see the "Walls of Jericho" being locked in but as he tried to turn him over, Bourne tucked the head of Jericho and rolled him into a small package to get 1..............2..........., but Jericho was out. Both men got to their feet and after missing with a clothesline, Jericho found himself on the receiving end of a Pele kick. Jericho stumbled around the ring until Bourne drilled him with a jumping knee that made contact with his chin and knocked Jericho through the ring ropes to the floor. As Jericho tried to come to his senses on the floor, Bourne ran across the ring and leaped over the top rope for a suicide dive. But, his left foot appeared to clip the top rope during his descent and Jericho moved out of the way, resulting in Bourne landing face first on the arena floor! A collective "Ohhhhhhh" reverberated around the arena in one of the ugliest scenes in TWF history. Bourne was motionless on the floor and Jericho pulled him up and rolled him into the ring, covering him for the 1..............2..............3 and a 1-0 lead. Fall Time: 11:01 Hudson: "Chris Jericho has gone up one to zero but I think this match needs to be stopped..... Evan Bourne needs medical attention"! Cash: "And he can get it after this is over, Hudson! It's two out of three falls"! Hudson: "We understand that there is a thirty second interval between falls but I can honestly say, I don't think that's going to matter"! Second Fall Bourne had still barely moved in the ring and the bell sounded to start it again. Charles Robinson looked helpless as Jericho moved in on the champion and grabbed his legs. Without any resistance this time, he turned Bourne over into the Walls of Jericho. Jericho was pulling back on the hold with all his might while arrogantly yelling "Ask Him"! Robinson could get no response out of the seemingly unconscious Bourne and asked for the bell. Fall Time: :30 Total Match Time: 11:31 Hudson: "Jericho's not gonna win the title like this is he"? "BREAK THE WALLS DOWN" CAME ON AS JERICHO RELEASED THE HOLD AND HAD HIS ARM RAISED BY ROBINSON WHO ALSO HANDED HIM THE BELT. Cash: "Of course he is! Why wouldn't he be the new champ?! He just took two straight from Evan Bourne"! JERICHO LEFT THE RING CLUTCHING THE BELT AND MOUTHING THE WORDS "I TOLD YA SO". IN THE RING, BOURNE WAS BEING CHECKED BY A FEW EMT's. Hudson: "Well let's hope Evan Bourne gets the proper medical treatment here because that was a nasty fall against the floor". Cash: "You can't honestly believe that Jericho is to be blamed here. Bourne did that to himself. Ya know what......... THE SOUND OF CASH REMOVING HIS HEADSET IS HEARD AS THE CAMERA SWITCHES OVER TO THE BROADCAST POSITION. I'm just gonna stop now...... I'm done. Because if I sit out here any longer, I'm gonna end up slapping the snot out of your dumb ass". HUDSON THROWS HIS HANDS UP AS IF TO ASK WHAT HE DID WRONG AND CASH WALKS UP THE RAMP TO THE BACKSTAGE AREA, RECEIVING NOTHING BUT BOOS. Hudson: "Well guys, I guess this just became a three man announce team". Lawler: "Good riddance..... what a punk". BACKSTAGE...... DRAWING ROOM......... A CAMERA IS FOCUSED ON A GOLD TUMBLER WITH PLENTY OF NUMBERS TURNING INSIDE. RICHARD RAMSLEY AND CM PUNK ENTER THE ROOM AND THE CAMERA PANS BACK TO SHOW THAT THE EMPIRE's ALBA RIOS IS HANDLING THE TUMBLER. Alba Rios: "Which of you wants to pick first..... let's go". RAMSLEY STEPS UP WITH HIS HAIR COVERING HIS FACE. HE REACHES INTO THE TUMBLER AND PULLS OUT A NUMBER, NOT EVEN LOOKING AT IT. CM PUNK THEN REACHES INTO THE TUMBLER AND GRABS A NUMBER OF HIS OWN. HE DOES LOOK AT IT AND QUICKLY GETS A BIG SMILE. HE SHOWS THE NUMBER TO RAMSLEY. Richard Ramsley: "Some kinda luck......... CM Punk: "Aren't you gonna look at yours"? Richard Ramsley: "I don't need to..... I know what kind of luck I have........ THE SHOT THEN GOES BACK TO THE RING. "HELP I'M ALIVE" BY METRIC COMES ON AND THAT BRINGS KAYLA KARTER OUT TO A NEGATIVE REACTION. J.R.: "Hey Scott, you wanna pull up a chair and help us call the rest of the action? We've got a no holds barred match here for the Women's title". Lawler: "Oh come on, I'd rather see hit sit there by himself like an idiot all night". Hudson: "Thanks King, but yeah, I'd be glad to. Now unless there's a TWF statistician back there that knows more than I do, this is a TWF first to my knowledge". "TEARS DON'T FALL" BY BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE COMES ON NEXT AND GINA CARANO RECEIVES A ROARING OVATION WHEN SHE COMES OUT FROM THE BACK. SHE IS CARRYING THE WOMEN's TITLE BELT IN HER RIGHT HAND AND LOOKS VERY DETERMINED. Lawler: "These two ladies have been at each other's throats for months now and it's time for things to get serious..... real serious here tonight". Hudson: "Gina Carana won that title back at WrestleMania and has defended it admirably but this is a challenge unlike any we've seen before". J.R.: "Well it's anything goes here in this one so in my mind, it's not only who is tougher but maybe who is more creative tonight that could come out victorious". REFEREE JACK DOAN TAKES THE BELT FROM GINA CARANO AND GIVES KARTER A GOOD LOOK AT IT BEFORE RAISING IT UP WITH BOTH HANDS TO SHOW THE CROWD. Hudson: "Many feel Gina Carano is the favorite in this one due to her background in MMA but I have a feeling that's exactly how Kayla Karter wants everyone to feel". No Holds Barred/TWF Women's Title Match Challenger: Kayla Karter vs. Gina Carano The bell started and Karter held both her hands outward as if to tell Carano to "bring it on". Carano just smirked and nodded before breaking into a fighting stance, resembling one of her MMA fights. But Karter did the same and was ready to strike. Carano easily moved in and ducked a right hand, taking her down with a double leg. Carano passed and got into a mount on Karter but Kayla viciously grabbed at the face of Gina, raking into her eyes. Carano got off, allowing Kayla to get up and kick her right in the back of the head. From there, she rolled the champion across the mat and under the bottom rope to the floor. Carano landed hard and immediately grabbed her left arm as the champion came outside the ring, stalking her. Gina threw a punch from her knees but it didn't have much behind it and Kayla easily shook it off and pulled her up before throwing her into the steel ring post. Carano hit the post hard and fell to the floor again. Karter reached under the ring apron and pulled out a trash can. She picked the trash can up over her head, making her way towards Carano. Gina got to her feet and kicked Karter in the abdomen before she could strike with the trash can. As the can clanged off the ground, Carano grabbed Kayla and rolled her into the ring. Carano got into the ring and seemed to have a fire lit under her as the beautiful TWF Women's champion smashed the challenger with kicks to the body before pulling her up for a big vertical suplex. Carano went outside the ring to the apron and to the top rope but before she could pulled off her planned attack, Karter fell into the ropes. Despite her best balancing act, Carano is taken from the top rope to the mat with a flying armbar by the challenger! The fans were in shock as it looked like Carano may actually tap out. She was desperately trying to find an escape and then somehow was able to clasp her hands together to prevent Karter from stretching the arm further. Karter released the hold but kicked Gina right in the head. She went for a cover but only got a 2 count. After pulling Carano to her feet, Kayla ran the ropes but Carano responded with a terrific jumping roundhouse kick. This sent a bolt of energy through the crowd and after a very nice belly to belly suplex, Carano left the ring and pulled a kendo stick from underneath the ring. She brought it back in and Karter never even saw the shots coming as Carano smashed her multiple times with the weapon. She then seemed intent on proving a point, pushing Karter into the corner and using her gloved hands to batter her opponent. After a total of 16 shots to the head and body, Carano clotheslined Kayla over the top rope and to the floor. She followed her out and started to pull her up but the fans started clamoring in bewilderment when a huge woman with braided, multi-colored hair came out from the back and grabbed Gina by the hair, pulling her and spinning her into her clutches. The fans then watched in horror as she lifted Carano up and drove her chest first into the steel trash can that still lay at ringside. Hudson: "What in the hell is going on here"?! Lawler: "It is no holds barred..... this is all legal"! J.R.: "That is Kharma! Kharma has been rumored to be coming to the TWF for a long time and you're right, King, there's nothing the referee can do about this"! Karter rolled back into the ring and waited for the woman to basically feed Carano to her. The massive woman picked the current Women's champion up and threw her into the ring. Karter took over from there, hitting the "Kay Kick" which laid Gina out and she covered her, hooking the leg as Doan made a slow but inevitable 3 count. Match Time: 8:36
Hudson: "I'll be damned! Kayla Karter has stolen the title"! Lawler: "Look at the size of..... Kharma.... J.R.: "I truly believe this was all in the plan of Kayla Karter. She knew she couldn't beat Gina straight up so she went out and found this mastadon of a woman who she knew was rumored to be showing up in the TWF at any time"! Lawler: "This could be a match made in heaven for Kayla Karter.... but a real life nightmare for Gina Carano"! "HELP I'M ALIVE" PLAYED AGAIN AS KARTER LEFT WITH THE BELT FOLLOWED BY THE IMPOSING KHARMA. Hudson: "I agree guys, we may have just seen a changing of the guard in the Women's division for years and years to come". BACKSTAGE AREA....... IN THE BACK, JORDAN ROCKWELL IS SHOWN AND SEEMS VERY UPBEAT UNTIL STEPHANIE McMAHON STEPS IN FRONT OF HIM, COMPLETING CHANGING HIS MOOD. Stephanie McMahon: "So Jordan, did you get your number for the Rumble match"? Jordan Rockwell: "Why yes Steph, I sure did. Did you get your multiple....... Stephanie McMahon: "Shut up..... don't even say it. Did you really think you were gonna get away with that little stunt on PrimeTime"? JUST THEN, MATT MORGAN BLINDSIDES ROCKWELL, KNOCKING HIM HARD INTO A STACK OF EMPTY PALLETS. MONEY MIKE THEN COMES INTO THE SHOT, STANDING OVER THE "FRANCHISE". Money Mike: "This will be your final warning, Rockwell, because I am done playing games. We are The Empire and we run this company. If you ever..... ever do anything that doesn't fall in line with that again....... you won't work here anymore". MONEY MIKE, MORGAN AND STEPH LEAVE THE SCENE AND ROCKWELL IS IN OBVIOUS PAIN. BACK TO RINGSIDE, THE HART DYNASTY's THEME SONG COMES ON AND HARRY SMITH MAKES HIS WAY OUT ALONG WITH TYSON KIDD TO A VERY FAVORABLE CHEER. Lawler: "Jordan Rockwell just can't seem to shake that Empire can he"? J.R.: "Well it seems that Money Mike found his way out of that sewage truck in Anaheim which is a damn shame but after that cowardly attack by Matt Morgan, you have to wonder how effective Jordan Rockwell will be in the Royal Rumble tonight". Hudson: "As if having to deal with twenty nine other guys isn't challenging enough". J.R.: "Well switching gears, over the last few weeks, a tournament, which was by invite only, has been going on in search of a team to battle the so far unstoppable BoogeySaints for the tag team titles and we've seen some impressive teams so far". Hudson: "This tournament includes teams from the TWF and teams from the outside and not to take anything away from the Hart Dynasty, but I really want to talk about their opponents tonight. These guys have just been waiting for a big opportunity and what an opportunity this is...... pay-per-view in the TWF". "KOW (Kings)" BY CODY B. WARE PLAYS NEXT AND THE TEAM OF CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI AND CHRIS HERO MAKE THEIR WAY OUT TO LITTLE RESPONSE. Lawler: "And I've heard just as many people say that these guys are all hype, Hudson, so which one is it". Hudson: "In my opinion, that couldn't be further from the truth. There's no doubt that the Hart Dynasty will be the favorites here but I could really see this as a coming out party for these two men here". Invitational Tag Team Tournament 1st Round The Hart Dynasty vs. Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli As the match started, all 4 men shook hands in a nice show of sportsmanship. Harry Smith then locked up with Chris Hero to start things and Smith took him into a standing headlock. Hero was able to push the son of the British Bulldog to the ropes and sent him across the ring but Smith hit him with a shoulder tackle to put him down. Smith then made the tag to his partner and Tyson Kidd came in with a low dropkick on Hero. He then pulled him up and shot him to the corner but when he ran in, he was met with a back elbow to the face. Hero then drilled Kidd with a clothesline before pulling him right up. After slapping on a hammerlock, Hero turned that into a suplex before slapping the hand of Castagnoli. Castagnoli came into the ring and kept Kidd on the mat by stretching him out with several holds before pulling him up and shooting him into the corner. Kidd had been in the ring for 6 minutes now at the hands of this team who was foreign to most TWF viewers, but they had a great game plan for this match. After tagging in Hero, Castagnoli got Kidd to his shoulders and Hero flew off the middle turnbuckle, pulling Kidd to the mat with a reverse neckbreaker. Hero went for the cover and got 1.......2........., but that was it. Hero pulled Kidd up and went for an irish whip but Kidd reversed that only to see Hero use a crucifix. But after pulling Kidd to the mat, Hero rolled away and then locked on a never before seen submission, yanking Kidd's head back with some sort of inverted crossface. Kidd was definitely going to tap out and his partner knew it, coming in to make the save. Hero got up and fought Smith off but that allowed Kidd to get up and after a dropkick to the back of the head, Kidd pulled Hero down with a reverse DDT. He then tagged Smith back in and Smith tried to turn the match around with his power. After 3 successive elbow drops to Hero, Smith got a 3 count upon covering him. He then got him up for his delay vertical suplex but as he held him up, Hero was somehow able to get free after bringing his knee to the chin of the Baby Bulldog. Hero then hit his Cravate Buster. Both men were down and the fans were cheering but it wasn't clear for who. Smith made the tag to Kidd who ran across the ring only to see the tag made to Castagnoli. Castagnoli ran Kidd over with a boot to the face. Smith came into the ring and nailed Castagnoli from behind but Hero hit the ring to back his partner up, dropkicking his knee and then hitting an impaler DDT. Kidd grabbed Castagnoli and tried to turn a tornado DDT but Castagnoli countered and kicked Kidd in the gut, leading to an incredible jackhammer slam. Kidd was in jeopardy as Castagnoli quickly yanked him up and hit his devastating Ricola Bomb into a cover and referee Chad Patton pounded the mat for the 3 count. Match Time: 9:05 J.R.: "Wow...... these guys are for real"! Lawler: "For once Scott Hudson may have known what he was talking about". "KOW (Kings)" PLAYED AGAIN AS CASTAGNOLI AND HERO LEFT TO A RESPECTABLE CHEER. Hudson: "It will be called an upset but I'm tellin' you guys, you haven't seen anything yet..... this is a great team". J.R.: "Well they just defeated a team that is already part of the TWF at a TWF pay-per-view event. You've gotta like their chances going forward". BACKSTAGE...... DRAWING ROOM......... IN THE DRAWING ROOM, EDDIE SAINT JAMES AND THE BOOGEYMAN ARE WATCHING THE MATCH THAT HAS JUST FINISHED ON A MONITOR. MONICA REACHES INTO THE TUMBLER AND PULLS OUT TWO NUMBERS, HANDING ONE TO EACH MAN. THEY EACH LOOK AT THEIR NUMBERS BEFORE THE BOOGEYMAN STUFFS THE PIECE OF PAPER CONTAINING HIS NUMBER INTO HIS MOUTH, EATING IT. Lawler: "Ugh.... how have these guys held onto those belts for so long"? J.R.: "Hey, at least his diet consists of something besides worms". MATT CRUZ IS SHOWN STANDING WITH COURTNEY TAYLOR. Courtney Taylor: "Matt, it was at last year's Royal Rumble where your career as launched after you won the Royal Rumble match. Tonight, you have a chance to win the World title back, but you'll have to go through two men to do it". Matt Cruz: "It doesn't matter if it's twenty nine men or a triple threat match. I will be taking the title back with me tonight so that I can headline WrestleMania in my hometown of Denver, Colorado. And after I win tonight, who knows, maybe they'll start calling the Royal Rumble my event". THE SHOT GOES BACK TO RINGSIDE WHERE A LADDER IS SHOWN IN THE AISLE. RING ANNOUNCER STEPHEN DeANGELIS QUEUE's UP THE NEXT MATCH. "THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY HITS AND AXL IRVIN COMES OUT TO A BIT OF A MIXED RESPONSE. J.R.: "Boy I can't wait for that triple threat match". Lawler: "Well we've seen a two out of three falls match tonight as well as a no holds barred match..... what's next? A ladder match"! Hudson: "And it features two men who consider themselves the best in the TWF when it comes to this particular match, mainly by virtue of their WrestleMania Jackpot victories which neither man was able to cash in on. Tonight, someone will cash in". J.R.: "It's been a bitter rivalry between Chris Tirpak and Axl Irvin but they both want that King of Cable title which you see hanging over the ring and they're willing to put their bodies on the line for it tonight". "FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS" PLAYS LOUDLY AND CHRIS TIRPAK COMES OUT FROM THE BACKSTAGE AREA WITH HIS SIGNATURE KENDO STICK. Lawler: "And if I recall correctly, The Empire wasn't even planning on giving Axl Irvin this rematch..... Tirpak wanted this match". Hudson: "There's a lot more than that title on the line tonight, guys. Pride and the right to call yourself the king of the ladder match might be more enticing that even that shiny gold belt"! J.R.: "Well I've many a ladder match in my career and they're never pretty.... they're never scientific but they're damn sure always physical"! TWF King of Cable Title/Ladder Match Challenger: Axl Irvin vs. Chris Tirpak The bell rang and the two men met in the middle of the ring. They both looked up at the title simultaneously and Tirpak then extended his hand to Axl. But Axl instead caught him with a right hand, a cheap shot Tirpak never saw coming. After stinging Tirpak with some solid right hands, Axl went for an irish whip but Tirpak reversed it and dropped him with a clothesline. After pulling Axl back up, Tirpak delivered a harsh side backbreaker before following with an elbow drop. Tirpak knew a decision couldn't be had without the ladder and he left the ring, going after the one in the aisle. But as he did, Axl rolled out of the ring and started to pull a ladder out from underneath it. He got the ladder into the ring as Tirpak turned to walk back with the one from the aisle. Tirpak got to the foot of the ring and Axl grabbed his ladder, sliding it in his direction. Axl's ladder clanged off the one Tirpak held in front of him and knocked the champion to the floor. Axl then hurriedly grabbed his ladder and set it up under the belt, starting to climb. But the crowd alerted Tirpak that Axl was climbing the ladder and quick and he got back in the ring, grabbing the right foot of the challenger and pulling him off the ladder. Tirpak kicked Axl in the abdomen and then slammed him face first into the ladder. He then got him up onto his shoulders but Axl got free and pushed Tirpak towards the ladder which he crashed into, knocking it over. Axl then picked the ladder right back up and wedged it in the corner between the top and middle turnbuckles. He then used that ladder as a launching pad and came off of it with a foot right to the chest of Tirpak. He then got down and popped him with a succession of punches and Tirpak had been busted open, presumably from hitting the ladder earlier. Axl kept the pounding coming as he punched the fallen Tirpak countless times. Tirpak got to his feet and Axl hit the ropes, coming at him with a head of steam but Tirpak was able to catch him and lift him over his head, falling back with him and dropping him face first on the pre-positioned ladder! This was a nasty shot and it was amazing it didn't knock Axl out cold. Both men were down as a chant of "This shit rules" started in the crowd. Tirpak was first to his feet and he loaded Axl up for a rarely seen piledriver. Axl took the full brunt of it and Tirpak, now full of adrenaline, ripped the ladder from the corner and set it up, making his first attempt up it. But Axl was able to recover and come from behind, using his forearm for a low blow. He then climbed up the first rung of the ladder and grabbed Tirpak around the head and neck with both hands, leading to a falling neckbreaker from the ladder. Again, both men were down as the impact seemed to bother Axl just as much. Both men got to their feet and now, were trading punches in the middle of the ring. Both men were exhausted but Tirpak still had enough to kick Axl in the gut hard enough to knock him through the ropes and out of the ring. Tirpak focused again on the ladder but as he did, Axl was able to get the one that was still outside the ring. The crowd cheered Tirpak on as he made his way up the steel ladder but Axl was able to get in the ring with one of his own and use it as a battering ram, knocking Tirpak from his and he came down hard, landing on his shoulder. Axl was now in position to win it but Tirpak had one more trick up his sleeve- the kendo stick. As Axl made his way up the ladder, Tirpak grabbed his trusty weapon and then came up and blasted the body of Axl repeatedly, leaving some very red marks across his back. Unable to take any more of it, Axl fell to the mat and Tirpak now looked ready to go up and get his belt. But trying to keep the kendo stick away from Axl as a possible weapon, Tirpak tried to climb the ladder with it. This proved a critical mistake as it slowed him down. Axl slowly got up, to the disbelief of the crowd and he gave the ladder a sharp shove, sending Tirpak sprawling not only off the ladder, but out of the ring! Tirpak landed very hard on the right side of his body and appeared to be in a lot of pain. But Axl didn't stop there, he picked up the same ladder and held it over his head before dropping it directly on his prone opponent. Axl then retrieved the second ladder and set it up, right underneath the King of Cable title and he now had the time he needed to climb up the ladder and snatch it. Match Time: 15:45 J.R.: "And Axl Irvin has just survived a war"! Hudson: "That was a battle between two men who were not willing to give anything less than one hundred percent and if they did this one hundred times, I honestly think they'd each win fifty"! "THE REALEST" PLAYED AGAIN AS AXL LEFT THE RING WITH THE TITLE, LIMPING UP THE RAMP. Lawler: "This is one of those matches where the men involved won't be one hundred percent for awhile either..... but Axl's healing process will probably be much easier with that title to look at"! THE CAMERA GETS A SHOT OF TIRPAK, STILL LAYING ON THE RINGSIDE FLOOR. HE HAS PUSHED THE LADDER OFF OF HIM AND IS STARTING TO GET TO HIS FEET, TO A BIG OVATION. J.R.: "These fans here in Raleigh are giving it up for one of the toughest guys we've ever seen here in the TWF! What a warrior"! Hudson: "Chris Tirpak took one of the nastiest falls I've ever witnessed and to be leaving here on anything short of a stretcher is amazing"! BACKSTAGE........ WE CUT BACKSTAGE TO THE LOCKER ROOM, WHERE SHELTON BENJAMIN IS SEEN PREPARING FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH TAKING PLACE LATER TONIGHT. AS BENJAMIN PREPARES, M.X. OGDEN SLOWLY STEPS INTO THE SCENE. OGDEN STARES DIRECTLY AT THE WRESTLEMANIA POSTER ON THE WALL, UNTIL FINALLY LOOKING UP AT BENJAMIN WITH A SLY GRIN ON HIS FACE.
M.X. Ogden: "Now this... this is great. I'm officially graced by the presence of the great Shelton Benjamin".
OGDEN IS CLEARLY SARCASTIC, BITING HIS LIP AND FAKING TEARS IN HIS EYES. BENJAMIN TAKES NONE TOO KIND TO THIS AS HE STANDS UP OFF OF THE LOCKER ROOM BENCH AND GETS DIRECTLY IN HIS FACE.
M.X. Ogden: "Calm yourself, Shelton, I’m just here to bid you good luck, buddy. We go way back, and honestly, all of my success in TWF can be credited to you".

M.X. Ogden: "Well, my first ever title win, I beat you for the King of Cable Championship. My first reign as Rampage Tag Team Champion, guess what? I beat you to win the belts. So it's only right that tonight, in the biggest match of both of our careers, it comes down to you and I alone".
Shelton Benjamin: "You forgot the fact that I beat you to win that King of Cable Title back. You also forgot that tonight, the script flips. I'm going to be the one who wins the Royal Rumble, not you. But in all honesty, you are right about one thing... All of your success is because of me. If you didn't have a role model like me to look up to, someone better than you on all accounts, you would have nothing".

THE TWO MEN ARE TAKING IT TO EACH OTHER BEFORE BENJAMIN FINALLY GETS AN UPPER HAND. JUST AS BENJAMIN SEEMS TO BE IN CONTROL, THOUGH, JUSTIN GABRIEL EMERGES AND TAKES IT TO BENJAMIN WITH A DOUBLE AXE HANDLE TO THE BACK. GABRIEL AND OGDEN GANG UP ON BENJAMIN AS TYLER REKS AND VANCE ARCHER BURST INTO THE LOCKER ROOM AND AID IN BEATING HIM DOWN. RISING UNITED LIFT BENJAMIN TO HIS FEET AS OGDEN GRABS HOLD OF BENJAMIN'S JAW. AFTER A FEW MOMENTS OF STARING HIM IN THE EYES, OGDEN LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND PLANTS BENJAMIN FACE FIRST ACROSS THE BENCH WITH A MEMORY MAKER! OGDEN GETS UP AND LOOKS DOWN AT BENJAMIN, WHO SEEMS TO BE UNCONSCIOUS FROM THE IMPACT. RISING UNITED SLOWLY LEAVES THE LOCKER ROOM AREA AS WE HEAD BACK TO RINGSIDE. Howard Finkel: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the TWF Universal championship"! THE FANS CHEER AT THE ANNOUNCEMENT BEFORE THE ARENA LIGHTS SHUT OFF. "MI DESTROYERO" FOLLOWS AND THE FANS BOO AS KEVIN THORN COMES OUT ALONG WITH ARIEL. THORN IS CARRYING HIS WALKING STICK AS HE HEADS TO THE RING. Hudson: "Guys, can you remember a more anticipated Universal title match"? J.R.: "This is definitely gonna be one for the history books but quite frankly, I'm more interested in seeing Joe Corey finally defend this title than anything else". Lawler: "Well I think Joe Corey is catching way too much flack for the situation involving John Cena. Right now there's absolutely no proof he had anything to do with that". Hudson: "Unfortunately it's too much of a coincidence and with Corey's track record, it's hard to give him the benefit of the doubt. But this man, Kevin Thorn has already made it further that Cena did, he got out from the back"! J.R.: "And he is a former Universal champion and one of the more battle tested men on the entire TWF roster". BOOS GROW VERY LOUD WHEN "AMAZING" BY KANYE WEST STARTS UP AND JOE COREY SLOWLY MAKES HIS WAY OUT FROM THE BACK WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE WRAPPED AROUND HIS WAIST. Lawler: "Not to take anything away from Thorn, but I really feel like Joe Corey deserves more respect than he is given. I mean find me anyone..... anyone that has the TWF career resume that this man does". Hudson: "Joe Corey is a highly decorated, wildly successful wrestler. But he's also much better in his own mind than he actually is, if you ask me". J.R.: "Well all the talk is over, all the hoopla is about to be put aside. Joe Corey is in the ring with a big, dangerous man and his title is on the line"! TWF Universal Title Match........ Challenger: Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel vs. "The Show" Joe Corey Ding, ding, ding! The match is official with the bell sounding and to the surprise of everyone, Corey comes right at Thorn. Thorn is caught off guard and Corey is laying into him with some heavy punches. Corey grabs the right arm of Thorn and shoots him to the corner, following in with a heavy clothesline. After hitting a facebuster to the knee, Corey runs the ropes but Thorn recovers with a back elbow. After shaking off the shots Corey hit him with earlier, Thorn puts the boots to the champion. He then gets Corey to his feet and lifts him up, dropping him over the top rope with a stun gun. Thorn is starting to get a roll going but after backing up a few steps, he charges in and Corey lowbridges the top rope, sending the challenger sailing to the floor. After going outside the ring, Corey catches Thorn with a running boot to the face as he tried to get up. From behind Corey, Ariel is sneaking up but Corey turns with a clenched right hand, showing he has no fears of striking her. Corey then pulls Thorn up and is able to roll him back into the ring. Quickly getting back in himself, Corey is able to lock in The Cage. Thorn is in a lot of trouble inside the painful submission hold. Fortunately for him, he doesn't have far to go to reach the ropes and he does so, earning a break. But after releasing the hold, Corey stays on him with kicks and stomps to the body. Following a very nice rolling neckbreaker, Corey goes right back to it, locking in The Cage again. This time, the ring ropes don't seem to be an option. Despite the torque Corey is putting on the hold, Thorn is trying to create enough power in his legs to push out of it, but it's to no avail. Instead, he slowly starts to fight his way to the ropes, crawling inches at a time and dragging Corey with him. After having the hold applied for over a minute, Thorn gets the ropes. Corey pulls Thorn by the legs back to the center of the ring and drops an elbow on the back of his head. He then gets him up and pushes him to the corner before popping him with many right hands. After running the ropes, Corey runs right into a boot to the face. Thorn tries to follow it up, but he is in a lot of pain. Corey gets up and actually uses a back footsweep to take Thorn off his feet and then, he puts The Cage on one more time, intent on defending the title via submission. Corey is pulling on the hold with all he has but still, the demented vampire won't tap out, even though his hand is up ready to slap the mat. For a third time, Thorn gets to the ropes to break the hold and Corey is beside himself. Corey runs the ropes and attempts his flying knee but Thorn sidesteps in and punches him in the temple with a right hand. Thorn then looks into the camera with a twisted look in his eyes. After pulling Corey to his feet, Thorn loads him onto his shoulders and drops him onto the top turnbuckle pad with a snake eyes. Thorn paces around the ring, trying to get his wits about him but when he goes back to his opponent, Corey is able to trip Thorn up and stack him up in the corner. Referee Mike Chioda starts to count and as he does, Corey places both feet on the middle ring rope for more leverage and the 3 count is made. Match Time: 8:15 Lawler: "Corey has done it.... he's retained the title"! J.R.: "Under questionable circumstances yet again"! Hudson: "Things don't look good though, Corey looks to be in obvious pain". AS "AMAZING" PLAYS, COREY IS WRITHING IN PAIN ON THE MAT, HOLDING HIS SHOULDER AREA OF HIS RIGHT ARM. J.R.: "What happened, I must've missed it". Lawler: "It appears to be his right shoulder guys..... trust me it would hurt a lot more had he lost the belt here tonight"! Hudson: "Joe Corey will have to go the back and ice down that shoulder but if you ask me, he's lucky to be leaving with anything other than a hurt shoulder tonight"! COREY IS STILL DOWN IN THE RING, TALKING TO CHIODA AND HE SEEMS TO BE HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING TO HIS FEET. JUST THEN, "LIVE FOR THE MOMENT" BY MONSTER MAGNET COMES ON AND MATT HARDY COMES OUT TO A RAUCOUS RESPONSE, CARRYING THE WRESTLEMANIA JACKPOT BRIEFCASE. Lawler: "Oh no..... no, no, no, he can't do this"! J.R.: "He's doin' it, King.... Matt Hardy is doin' it"! Hudson: "Well you know what they say about a shark smelling blood"! HARDY GETS INTO THE RING AND WHISPERS SOMETHING INTO THE EAR OF CHIODA, WHO THEN GOES AND RELAYS THE MESSAGE TO HOWARD FINKEL. Howard Finkel: "Ladies and gentlemen.... Matt Hardy is cashing in the WrestleMania Jackpot briefcase! This match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the TWF Universal title"! AS SOON AS THE ANNOUNCEMENT IS MADE, COREY GETS UP, 100% HEALTHY, AND ATTACKS HARDY FROM BEHIND WITH A STIFF SHOT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD. J.R.: "Oh no..... look at this"! TWF Universal Title Match Challenger: Matt Hardy vs. "The Show" Joe Corey After nailing the unsuspecting Hardy, Corey throws him head first into the steel ring post. That leads to a devastating "Showstopper". Tremendous boos are pouring from the stands as Corey gets Hardy up for a second, equally vicious "Showstopper" and he rolls him over, covering him and hooking the leg as Chioda pounds the mat for a 3 count. Match Time: :58 J.R.: "Well I'll be damned"! "AMAZING" HITS AGAIN AND COREY IS HANDED THE TITLE BY CHIODA. HE RAISES IT UP AND HAS AN EAR TO EAR SMILE ABOUT HIS FACE. Lawler: "Corey just outsmarted not one... but two men tonight! It takes a lot to be a champion and I'm sorry Matt Hardy, you'll never have those things in you"! Hudson: "Joe Corey is a no good snake in the grass, but you have to give him some credit because Hardy walked right into that trap"! J.R.: "Matt Hardy has carried that briefcase around with him for nearly a year waiting, calculating his attack. What a way for those plans to go up in smoke"! BACKSTAGE..... DRAWING ROOM...... SEBASTIAN CAIN AND DREW McINTYRE ENTER THE DRAWING ROOM TO SELECT THEIR NUMBERS FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH. ALBA RIOS IS MIXING THE TUMBLER, WHICH HAS ONLY A FEW PLASTIC BALLS WITH NUMBERS INSIDE REMAINING. McINTYRE GOES TO REACH IN THE TUMBLER AND PICK HIS NUMBER. Sebastian Cain: "Remember, if it's better than the number I get...... we switch". McINTYRE JUST GIVES CAIN A LOOK BEFORE REACHING IN AND GETTING A NUMBER. CAIN THEN PUSHES McINTYRE OUT OF THE WAY AND SELECTS HIS NUMBER. BUT MOMENTS LATER, SEAN O'HAIRE MAKES HIS FIRST TWF APPEARANCE IN QUITE SOME TIME. HE AND CAIN GET RIGHT INTO EACH OTHER's FACE AND AS THEY DO, McINTYRE QUIETLY LEAVES THE ROOM. O'HAIRE THEN REACHES INTO THE TUMBLER AND PULLS OUT THE ONLY NUMBER THAT IS LEFT. HE THEN TURNS HIS FOCUS BACK TO CAIN. Sean O'Haire: "Obviously, I'm in this thing tonight. But..... I'm not tellin' you anything, that you don't already know". O'HAIRE LEAVES THE ROOM AS THE SHOT FADES OUT.
"VOICES" BY REV THEORY COMES ON AND RANDY ORTON STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK TO A BIT OF A MIXED RESPONSE. Lawler: "Oh boy.... here we go". J.R.: "Three men set to do battle here for the TWF World title and here is a man who is not only a two time World champion, but also a three time TWF Universal champion and he'd love to add to that tonight". Hudson: "This will be Randy Orton's first shot at the title since WrestleMania where he lost the title to Matt Cruz and for whatever reason, he found himself on the wrong side of The Empire's plans". J.R.: "Found himself on the wrong side of Money Mike's plans is closer to the way I saw it". "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE PLAYS AND OUT COMES MATT CRUZ WHO IS CLAD IN HIS UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS LETTERMAN's JACKET AND WITH HIM AS ALWAYS IS THE LOVELY MARIA. Lawler: "Matt Cruz was lucky, lucky to ever be the champion in my mind but it was at this event, the Royal Rumble, where it all started for him last year". Hudson: "Matt Cruz was of course the man who won the 2010 Royal Rumble match and he used his title match at WrestleMania to face a man who had run roughshod over Rampage up to that point..... that man was Randy Orton". BOOS START TO BUILD AND THEN GROW VERY LOUD WHEN "FLY FROM THE INSIDE" BY SHINEDOWN PLAYS AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT WITH THE WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. J.R.: "There is certainly no love lost between Cruz and Orton but I truly feel that you could pull both men aside and they would both tell you that they despise Jason Oliver much more"! Hudson: "It makes for a very interesting triple threat match tonight as these are arguably the top three superstars on Rampage today and Jason Oliver doesn't even need to be involved in the decision to lose that title". Lawler: "Which is a rule I've never liked but Oliver feels he is better than both of these guys so I don't think he's one bit worried tonight". Triple Threat/TWF World Title Match Randy Orton vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz w/ Maria vs. (c) Jason Oliver Referee Jim Korderas held the World title up for the crowd to see before handing it to the timekeeper. The bell then sounded to get the match underway. The three men circled the ring, looking for their spot. Oliver didn't seem like he wanted to engage but Orton and Cruz gave each other a look before both attacking Oliver. Orton landed some big right hands while Cruz kicked away at him, knocking him into the corner where Oliver shelled up to defend himself. Korderas moved Orton and Cruz away and when he did, Cruz acted like he was going to run in at Oliver but instead turned and drilled Orton with a clothesline. Cruz then got down to pull Orton back up but as he did, Oliver came from behind with a chop block to the former champion. Oliver then locked in a rear naked choke on Cruz and was trying to choke the life out of him until Orton got up and put a boot right between the eyes of Oliver. Orton then pulled Cruz up and shot him to the ropes for a big dropkick. Oliver got up and Orton kicked him in the gut before throwing him over the top rope to the floor. Seeing only Cruz in the ring, Orton ran at him but Madik was waiting with a big spinebuster. He then went to the feet of Orton, crossing the left over the right and turning him over with the "Colorado Cloverleaf". With Orton in the center of the ring and nowhere to go, we were certain to see a new champion. But before he tapped out, Oliver got into the ring and with a running start, took Cruz down with a bulldog. He then went over to Orton and covered him but Orton pushed him off after a 2 count. Oliver then went over to Cruz and rocked him with 2 right hands before getting him up to his shoulders for a very nice Canadian backbreaker. The camera got a closeup of Cruz, revealing that he had been busted open on the forehead, presumably from the punches he just endured from Oliver. He covered Cruz but only got a 1 count before Orton broke up the pin attempt. Orton and Oliver were in the center of the ring trading shots but after a kick to the gut, Orton again grabbed Oliver by the back of the head and threw him over the top rope to the floor. Now with 1 on 1 opportunity, Orton whipped Cruz to the ropes and caught him with a terrific powerslam right into a cover where he hooked the leg for the 1.............2............., but Cruz kicked out. Orton turned to see Oliver climbing back into the ring and he ran over, grabbing him in a front facelock and dragging him to a suspended position on the middle ring rope. Orton then violently brought the head of Oliver to the mat with a DDT and he rolled him over into a cover, getting 1..............2............, but Cruz came over just in time and yanked the foot of Orton to pull him off the cover. Orton got up and threw a right hand that Cruz ducked before lifting him up for a 1 handed sidewalk slam, a move made famous by Ron Simmons. But Jason Oliver showed his toughness, recovering from the DDT and getting up to catch Cruz with a reverse STO. Orton was up and he and Oliver were brawling again. Oliver pushed him into the corner and charged in but Orton put up his right foot into the face of the champion before drilling him with a clothesline. Cruz was on his hands and knees, trying to get to his feet and the sneaky Orton saw him, getting down and looking for the "RKO". Cruz got to his feet and seemed to turn right into it but as Orton had the move cinched in and ready to make impact, Cruz not only pushed out to counter the move, he threw Orton over the top rope to the floor! The crowd starting cheering as this seemed to be a good time for the match to end. Oliver came up from behind Cruz and kicked him in the abdomen when he turned around before going for the "Claymore". But blocked that move as well and turned it into a german suplex, dropping Oliver on his head and neck. He then rolled backwards into a bridged pin and Korderas slapped the mat 3 times to crown a new champion! Match Time: 13:31 Lawler: "Was that three"?! Lawler: "It certainly was, King! Matt Cruz has won the title back"! MARIA CAME INTO THE RING WITH THE WORLD TITLE BELT AND HANDED IT TO CRUZ BEFORE GIVING HIM A BIG HUG. THE CROWD CHEERED AS "THE NEXT EPISODE" LOUDLY PLAYED. Hudson: "The Royal Rumble has become the event for Matt Cruz! After winning the Royal Rumble match last year..... he's won the World title this year"! Lawler: "You have to take your hat off to Cruz.... he withstood two very big names tonight to win this match"! AS CRUZ CELEBRATED THE WIN, OLIVER TRIED TO COME FROM BEHIND WITH AN ATTACK BUT ORTON GOT BACK INTO THE RING AND INTERCEPTED HIM BY DELIVERING A WICKED RKO! CRUZ TURNED TO SEE THIS AND HE AND ORTON SHARED A STARE BEFORE ORTON LEFT THE RING AND "THE NEXT EPISODE" STARTED UP AGAIN. J.R.: "What an RKO and maybe even a little mutual respect between the two men who headlined WrestleMania one year ago"! Hudson: "And if things stay like this, Matt Cruz will be doing it again"!
Hudson: "Well guys, we have reached that time. Time for one of the year's most exciting matches". Lawler: "And this crowd is buzzing.... it's been a tremendous night here in Raleigh and we still have the Royal Rumble match coming up". J.R.: "All thirty participants in this thing have drawn their numbers and here are a couple of stats for you guys to think about. Fourteen is the lowest number that a winner of the Royal Rumble has ever drawn! But, perhaps even bigger than that, nine out of eleven Royal Rumble winners have gone on to win either the Universal or World title at WrestleMania". Hudson: "I think I'd like those odds if I was the man fortunate enough to win this thing tonight but out of thirty men, only one will get that chance". Howard Finkel: "Ladies and gentlemen..... it is now time for the Royal Rumble! A THRONG OF CHEERS FOLLOWS AND THE ENTIRE CROWD IS ON THEIR FEET. In a few moments, we will start with the men who drew numbers one and two. Another superstar will enter the ring every thirty seconds based on the number they drew. Elimination can only occur when a superstar has been thrown over the top rope and have both feet touch the arena floor. The winner will be the last man standing and will win a spot in the main event of WrestleMania"! THE FANS LOUDLY POP AGAIN AS FINKEL EXITS THE RING. J.R.: "Let's get it started..... who drew number one"! "TOO MANY LIES" HITS AND SHEAMUS COMES OUT TO A LARGE AMOUNT OF BOOS. Lawler: "The Celtic Warrior has drawn an unfavorable starting position but I definitely wouldn't want to be the guy with number two"! Hudson: "If Sheamus is to last until the end of this thing, he will be in the ring for over an hour". AFTER SHEAMUS GETS INTO THE RING, "CAN'T BE STOPPED" BY ROY JONES COMES ON AND CJ LETHAL COMES OUT FROM THE BACK, LED BY JAKE ROBERTS. J.R.: "CJ Lethal is number two. Jake The Snake lobbied The Empire to put him in this thing and I could see him doing some real damage tonight"! Hudson: "Jake Roberts is giving the big man Lethal some last minute advice but really, this is the ultimate crapshoot guys"! Lawler: "That might be the perfect word, Hudson, there's no telling what we could see tonight"! 2011 Royal Rumble Sheamus and Lethal went right at each other, even before the bell sounded. Lethal shook off a few punches and drove a knee into the abdomen of Sheamus before sending him to the ropes. But after ducking a clothesline, Sheamus nailed Lethal with his double sledge to the face and that knocked him into the ropes. He followed that up with a clothesline to take Lethal out of the ring. Lethal landed on his feet and slapped the apron with both hands, upset with his performance. Sheamus and Jake Roberts engaged in a bit of a staredown before he led Lethal away. Sheamus paced around the ring as the clock counted down. The fans counted down the last 10 seconds in unison, as they would the entire match, and Rob Van Dam came out next. He ran down the ramp and slid into the ring, ducking a clothesline from Sheamus. After smashing the Celtic Warrior with a spinning heel kick, RVD hit the ropes and went for Rolling Thunder, but Sheamus got his knees up. RVD grabbed at his lower back in pain before Sheamus got up and nailed him with the Brogue Kick. The impact of that knocked RVD out of the ring. Sheamus stood in the middle of the ring, pounding his chest and screaming with excitement. He had almost one minute to wait for #4 and that would be the position for Jack Swagger to join the match. Swagger came in and was able to secure a double leg on Sheamus and drive him into the corner. Sheamus pounded him across the back, trying to fight him off, but Swagger began to drive his shoulder into the midsection of Sheamus several times. He tried to pull him into a clothesline but Sheamus ducked that and came back, lifting Swagger off the mat and dumping him over the top rope! Richard Ramsley came in next, coming up on Sheamus and attacking him from behind. Ramsley tagged Sheamus with some heavy shots before sending him to the ropes and kicking him in the gut. Ramsley then brought Sheamus to the mat with a big DDT. Ramsley followed that up by getting on Sheamus with some right hands from a mounted position. The clock began to count down as the next superstar joined the fray and it was M.X. Ogden. Ogden came into the ring and this was the first time we'd seen more than 2 men in the ring at one time. Ogden went right at Ramsley with a kick to the side of the head. He then measured Sheamus for a terrific shining wizard and was gaining steam quickly. But Ogden turned into a vicious clothesline from Ramsley who then went over and got Sheamus up. After pounding him with 2 right hands, he backed up and then ran in, only to have Sheamus pull the top rope down on him for an elimination. Ogden got up and dropkicked the Celtic Warrior. Looking to follow up, he made a cardinal sin in this type of match, going to the top rope. Sheamus got to his feet and fell into the ring ropes, knocking Ogden to a crotched position. A Brogue Kick to the side of the head of Ogden knocked him out of the ring. The seconds were already ticking down as Ogden hit the floor and the next participant was Troy Gafgen. Gafgen just missed Ramsley, who he would have no doubt gone right after. But he got into the ring and stood up to Sheamus, hitting a big spinebuster on him. Gafgen tried to overpower the Irish born superstar but Sheamus fought back fiercely. Chris Tirpak was next to get involved, drawing #8. But he hobbled down to the ring, still showing the effects of the earlier ladder match and it was clear he wouldn't be much of a factor. Still, he did what he could and actually sided with Gafgen as they tried to get Sheamus out. Sin Cara would be the next man in and the exciting superstar from Mexico had great support from the crowd. He came into the ring hitting everything that moved. After back to back flying wheel kicks on Tirpak and Gafgen, he threw one at Sheamus but Sheamus caught him and just threw him down to the mat on his head. Gafgen stumbled to his feet and was clotheslined out of the ring by Sheamus. Sheamus, who had completely taken over the Rumble, then grabbed Tirpak and launched him out of the ring. Tirpak took another hard fall on the floor and was clearly in pain. Sheamus had thrown out every superstar who had been eliminated at this point. "Barbie Girl" came on next and Ken Doll came out, heading to the ring. Doll came in and avoided another attempted Brogue Kick from Sheamus but ran directly into a savate kick from Sin Cara. Sin Cara then ran and jumped onto the shoulders of Sheamus. But Sheamus caught him and ran towards the ropes, looking to throw him out. But Sin Cara was able to turn it into a hurricanrana that put Sheamus out of the match! Sheamus, who looked like he might eliminate the entire field, was gone. As Sin Cara and Ken Doll battled, showing signs of a possible future PrimeTime feud, Sean O'Haire made his TWF return, coming out next. He appeared to be in tip-top condition as he hit the ring, striking Sin Cara with a right hand. After a spinning backfist caught Doll, he got him up onto his shoulders for the "Widowmaker", a move we haven't seen in years. O'Haire was clearly in control of the ring when Sebastian Cain, one of his biggest rivals ever, came out next. Cain and O'Haire went right at it, trading right hands until O'Haire raked him across the eyes. O'Haire then tried to get Cain up onto his shoulders but Sin Cara smacked the midsection of O'Haire with a kick that allowed Cain to get free. Cain then pushed O'Haire over the top rope and to the floor. From across the ring, Doll charged at Sin Cara but Sin Cara moved out of the way with a nice bullfighting impersonation and then a jumping spin kick that caught Doll right under the chin also knocked him out of the ring. Sin Cara and Sebastian Cain were the only two men in the ring and they were joined by the man with #13, Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin and Doll crossed paths as Doll was going up the ramp and Benjamin was coming down. Doll gave him a dirty look to which Benjamin responded with "Paydirt", right on the ramp! Benjamin then went down to the ring where Cain and Sin Cara quickly jumped on him. The 3 men brawled and next out was Chaos Wolf. Wolf had the massive Brodus Clay with him and he carried a look that he could win the whole thing. Wolf came into the ring and blasted Sin Cara with a clothesline. Cain came over only to be kicked in the gut and then Wolf took Cain and threw him right at Benjamin. Wolf clotheslined Benjamin, knocking him over the top rope, but Shelton landed on the apron. Wolf tried to force him to the floor but Benjamin was able to roll back into the ring. #15 was the spot for the "Chosen One" and Nick Daniels hit the ring with no plans on forming partnerships or making friends. He popped Chaos Wolf from behind and then put him down with a backdrop suplex. His focus turned to Benjamin and he got down, choking him. Sin Cara and Cain came over and they each got their shots in on Daniels, allowing Benjamin to get free. Benjamin became entangled with Wolf but after fighting him off, Benjamin turned to see Cain. He threw a kick which Cain caught, but Benjamin responded with his free leg, the Dragon Whip kick and after catching him with that, he dropkicked him over the top rope! Seconds later, Sin Cara took Chaos Wolf down with a flying headscissor, throwing him towards the ropes. He then ran over and somehow got his body underneath that of Wolf's and was able to dump him over the top rope and to the floor. Caleb Weber had the next number and he made his way to the ring just as Sin Cara was able to get another elimination, using his quick feet to get Nick Daniels out of the match. Sin Cara came off the top rope, trying for a crossbody right as Weber got into the ring. But Weber ducked that and then began to trade shots with Shelton Benjamin. He was able to get Benjamin into a bad situation, nearly taking him over the top rope. Benjamin showed great agility by being able to hold on and after fighting Weber off with an elbow to the ribs, he went to the apron and then used the ropes to spring off and clothesline him. The crowd loved this moment and Shelton followed that up by throwing Weber out of the ring. Benjamin was dropkicked from behind, however, and the momentum put him out on the apron. Sin Cara ran at him but Benjamin fought off elimination again with a knee to the gut. The Boogeyman was next out, followed by a former Royal Rumble winner, Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy and Benjamin went after the unorthodox Boogeyman as Sin Cara tried to recover on the mat. The Boogeyman was able to fight off both Benjamin and Kennedy before grabbing Sin Cara for a big gutwrench suplex. Wade Barrett would join the match next and he looked hungry, ready to make a statement. Barrett came in and kicked Benjamin right in the face before tangling with Kennedy. Barrett then took Kennedy and threw him shoulder first into one of the ring posts. The Boogeyman came from behind and was able to slow Barrett down. Meanwhile, Sin Cara got up and went to the shoulders of Benjamin, looking to take him out the same way he had done Sheamus earlier. But Benjamin was able to hang on using the top ring rope and he shook Sin Cara off, pushing him out of the ring. As the clock ticked down to another superstar coming out, the fans chanted along. They let out a good sized pop when they saw Eddie Saint James making his way to the ring, realizing the Unified Tag Team champions would be in the ring together. The Saint came in and went right at Barrett and the fight was on. But Boogeyman came over to assist his partner and they soon overwhelmed Barrett. But Kennedy and Benjamin came from behind, attacking the BoogeySaints and this allowed Barrett to get up. Barrett got the right leg of Kennedy and was able to force him out of the ring. Benjamin then found himself at the wrath of both BoogeySaints as Barrett sat in the corner watching. Tyler Reks would be the next participant out and the Rising United member looked very determined. Reks was able to knock both The Saint and Boogeyman down with punches but Benjamin caught him with a drop toe hold that sent him over the middle ring rope. Benjamin then ran the ropes but Reks got up and caught him, dropping him over the top rope, throat first. Reks then picked Benjamin up and threw him out of the ring, bringing an impressive Rumble match for Benjamin to a halt. Reks again stood up to both members of The BoogeySaints and fought them off with a scrappy offense. Barrett continued to seek refuge in the corner and just watched the action. Carney would enter the match with #22 and he tried to join Reks in attacking the Tag champs. Reks battled The Boogeyman while Carney tried to find a way to get the 6 foot 8 Saint out of the ring. The Boogeyman was able to strike Reks with a headbutt that slowed him down and The Saint them came over to help him with Carney. Barrett finally joined in the action but he was soon busy with Reks. As Saint and Boogeyman took turns pounding Carney with right hands, The Empire member was just getting abused. He then was lifted into the air by both of the BoogeySaints and thrown out of the ring. Barrett came over but met the same fate. After being kicked right in the face by The Saint, Boogeyman got him up and he and Saint combined for a double clothesline to take Barrett out of the match. Reks came over and again found himself in a 2 on 1 brawl with the BoogeySaints. Christian would join the match next and he chose Reks as his first target. But The BoogeySaints weren't about to throw away their partnership, and they went after each man. The Boogeyman kicked Christian low and tried to dump him out of the ring but Christian staved off elimination, as did Tyler Reks with The Saint. Chris Masters and Ted Dibiase were the next two men in the ring as there was just a lot of brawling at this point as the match was nearing it's final turn. Dibiase and Reks found themselves squaring off on one side of the ring but on the other, the Rumble match saw two of it's biggest surprise eliminations. Christian was able to turn the tables on The Boogeyman, who had been all over him for nearly 5 minutes. But after missing with his Boogey Splash in the corner, Boogeyman was dropkicked out of the ring by Christian. Moments later, Chris Masters overpowered The Saint and got down low, backdropping him to the floor. Christian and Masters then wasted no time trying to eliminate each other when Jordan Rockwell came out to "Save Me" by Burn Halo to one huge cheer. With a legitimate chance of winning the Royal Rumble, Rockwell was energized. He came into the ring and took out Masters with a clothesline before dropping both Reks and Dibiase with right hands. Rockwell then turned to see Christian standing there and the crowd came to it's feet as they got nose to nose, pointing at the WrestleMania 12 logo hanging in the rafters. But instead of turning their fury on one another, they went back to the others, looking for some eliminations. Rockwell tried to push Dibiase out of the ring while Christian did the same with Masters. But no one accounted for Reks and he came from behind Christian and Masters, dumping both of them over the top rope. Masters landed on the apron but Christian wasn't quite as lucky, hitting the floor. Masters rolled back into the ring and Reks put the boots to him. Reks then turned to see Rockwell trying to get Dibiase out of the ring and he tried to pull the same trick he had on Christian. But as he came up from behind, Rockwell seemed to sense him and he turned around, crushing Reks with several punches that knocked him to the other side of the ring. With a head of steam, Rockwell ran across the ring and clotheslined Reks out. The clock was counting down, 10.......9.........8..........7.........6..........5..........4..........3.........2...........1....... and when the buzzer went off, the crowd was in shock when they saw current PrimeTime color commentator PJ Cash on his way to the ring. Cash came in looking in tremendous shape and he hit Masters with a springing back elbow that looked perfect. Cash then got up and locked eyes with Rockwell and the fight was on. Cash and Rockwell ripped into each other with punches and kicks but after reversing an irish whip, Cash slapped on a sleeper hold. Rockwell countered that by backing into the corner to get him off. #28 was held by Drew McIntyre and he came out as perhaps a major darkhorse at this point. The fans knew there were only 2 men left to come out from the back and the anticipation was building as they watched the five men who were in the ring go at it. Dolph Ziggler was out next and he sprinted to the ring. At this point, Rockwell was fighting off every man in the ring. Masters, Dibiase, Cash, McIntyre and Ziggler were all working on him and then, they all felt like together, they could get him out. They teamed up to move 'The Franchise' to the ropes and it was all he could do to fight off the elimination. Rockwell maintained a low center of gravity and refused to be thrown out of the ring. The five men were growing frustrated and Ziggler caught Masters napping and he grabbed him low and threw him over the top rope. Cash, McIntyre and Dibiase all went to Ziggler in anger and this allowed Rockwell to get up. Rockwell had a right hand for each man and as he stood as the only man on his feet in the ring, the buzzer went off for $30 to come on out and it was....... CM Punk. Punk walked down the ramp, knowing the best odds of winning were on his side. As Rockwell waited for Punk to get into the ring, Dibiase tried to get the "Dreamstreet" on him. But Rockwell went to one knee, flinging Dibiase over his head. Ziggler ran in and went for a jumping facebuster but Rockwell blocked that and threw Ziggler right into McIntyre. Rockwell then clothesline Drew and the fans were going wild. But that excitement wouldn't last long as PJ Cash came from behind and threw Rockwell out! PJ Cash reacted as if he had won the World title he was so happy, pointing and taunting Rockwell. CM Punk would then make his first impression on the match, catching McIntyre with a round kick to the head and then clotheslining him out. Ziggler came from behind with the "Zig Zag" on Punk and he began to celebrate the move only to be grabbed from behind and launched to the floor by Dibiase! Only 3 men remained..... Dibiase, Cash and Punk. Punk was still down feeling the effects on the Zig Zag and Dibiase and Cash seemed to be having a discussion about working together to get him out. They went over to Punk but Dibiase cheap shotted Cash from behind and tried to throw him out but Cash was able to reverse his momentum and spin around, throwing Dibiase out of the ring! We were down to CM Punk and PJ Cash. Punk got to his feet and an eager Cash met him with right hands and a standing dropkick that knocked him through the ropes and to the apron. Cash ran in but Punk met him with a forearm to the face before springing into the ring from the apron with a flying clothesline. From there, he picked Cash up and got him to his shoulders, probably looking for the "GTS". But Cash slipped free and whipped Punk to the corner. He came in and lifted the right leg of Punk, trying to negotiate him out of the ring but Punk elbowed him in the head to get free. He then hip tossed Cash over the top rope but Cash grabbed the top rope to hang on. He was on the apron when Punk grabbed the back of his head and tried to ram him into the top turnbuckle. Cash put his foot up to block it and then he elbowed Punk right in the face. He then slid under the bottom rope and came in, ducking a roundhouse kick from Punk and landing a dropkick that knocked him into the ropes. Cash then faked running in and Punk went down. This seemed to create an opening for Cash to run in but when he did, Punk was still ready for him, getting him up to his shoulders. Instead of the GTS, he just tossed Cash over the top rope and to the floor. The bell sounded as Punk fell to his knees before "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage came on. Lawler: "CM Punk is going to WrestleMania"! J.R.: "What an amazing Royal Rumble match this was.... from start to finish we truly saw it all"! Hudson: "I can't believe the guy I was sitting next to when this night started came that close to main eventing WrestleMania..... PJ Cash almost did it"! "THIS FIRE BURNS" CONTINUED TO PLAY AND CM PUNK POINTED UP TO THE WRESTLEMANIA 12 LOGO WITH A MASSIVE SMILE ON HIS FACE. J.R.: "CM Punk has been a marquee name in every wrestling company he's ever worked for.... ya gotta believe that this is his biggest moment in the TWF"! Lawler: "Oh by far.... by far, J.R.! And now, it's only gonna lead to an even bigger one"! Hudson: "Congratulations to CM Punk who now heads to WrestleMania twelve! We hope you've enjoyed the 2011 Royal Rumble"!
