It's time once again for everyone's favorite column........ mine! After all, two cent's might be free but it's worth millions, dare say billions!
Right now kiddies let's go over what went down at Anarchy Rulz....
1. Taker bury's Goldust: a shock? I think not
2. Carney survives turmoil: This was a suprise cause I don't think anyone counted on him to do so but now he's number one contender to the King of Cable title.
3. Sam Wilde's faith is stronger: The biggest upset of the night no doubt as the preacher of rampage beat the telavangelist.
4. Cena and Pyromania conquer France: The doctor and the pyroster beat La Resistance for the World tag team championship as expected.
5. Benjamin becomes royal: Shelton Benjamin defeated Joe Corey to become King of Cable champion.
6. Angle survives hell: Kurt Angle defied the five to one odds and left the pay-per-view still TWF champion.
7. Gail's rewarding threeway: Gail Kim regained the Women's championship in the exciting triple threat match.
8. Val get's the tap out: Val Venis continues on the road back to the top with a submission win over Christian.
Random thoughts following Anarcy Rulz.....
1. Kurt Angle needs to stop hiding from Eddie Guerrero and give him the one on one title match he deserves, one problem though, now Justin Sane has a gripe because he had Bradshaw tapping and should have won. But an error by the ref cost him the title, not anyone else in the ring.
2. With Austin Pyromania finally having a valuable partner, he and John Cena should have the titles for a while.
3. Shelton Benjamin has finally proven he is more than a tag team wrestler, but now he has to prove he is not a one hit wonder and face guys like the extremist Carney along with former champ Joe Corey and countless others.
4. The Undertaker's return marks trouble for Kurt Angle, the only question is what is more important to the deadman, winning his seventh TWF title or breakin Angle in two?
Final thoughts on Rampage.....
My final thought on Rampage in a whole is that Kurt Angle has a world of trouble sitting on his doorstep. First he has Eddie Guerrero looking for him, wanting the tTWF title and then he has a new issue with Justin Sane who by all rights should be the TWF champion if it were not for an error by a referee. Worst of all, The Undertaker is back and you know he will be looking to as I said rip Angle in two after Angle put him out of action with a broken ankle a while back so if I'm Kurt I'd be worried.
Primetime.......
1. The rivalry between Jordan Rockwell and Rhyno has gotten seriously out of hand with the million dollar challenge. Rockwell has put both members of the Million Dollar Team in the hospital and out of action and there is no telling what he is willing to do to a rookie like Axl Irvin or Ted Dibiase's pride and joy Charlie Haas.
2. Like I said last column, a lot of people think the lightheavyweight title tournament is a good thing, but once again I wonder if that is because the members of the division think that because they could not beat Ultimo Dragon for the title.
3. RVD is still the Universal champion but I would like to know is that because he has yet to face stiff competion over the past few weeks? The last time RVD faced a tough challenge was when he faced Randy Orton and Nails in the triple threat match so it might be time for him to get more opponents of top caliber.
4. Speaking of Nails, it looks to me that for the first time in a while, the toughest man in the TWF has a goal other than beating someone up, he wants to beat Shane Thompson up and take the Intercontinental championship but can even a hardcore legend stop the roll Thompson has been on?
Slaughterhouse and SMW......
These two have and continue to get better each week with the use of all the talent in SMW on a weekly basis and the flourishing tag team and X-divisions of Slaughterhouse. It's no wonder they are doing well, question is this though, in slaughterhouse will it hurt them that their top two guys JD Blaze and Marcus Hansen don't get along at all?
IS IT ME?
1. Is it me or does TWF champion Kurt Angle seem to be in a pick your death, electric chair or gas chamber situation?
2. Is it me or is it wonderful seeing the diva's on Rampage do anything no matter what it is?
3. Is it me or did the guy that does the Ross report in the GWF rip me off? ( you'd have to see the column to know what I mean)
4. Is it me or does RVD need actual contenders for his title?
IN THE END.....
In the end I want to take the time to dedicate this column to three people that I know read it, one to the guy who does the Ross report in the GWF cause imitation is the the sincerest form of flatory, second to my buddy t-dub for without him giving me my own column to write there would be nothing for all of you good people to read except for the Lowdown so you are all welcome and last but certainly not least I want to dedicate this to the returning Drew Blood who came out of hiding and got back into the ring finally to help keep the TWF on top.
Well that's all the time I have for this column so till next time and as always this is your boy jd saying, enjoy the anticipation cause i'll be everything you thought I'd be....... AND THEN SOME!
