Diano's 2 Cents Vol. 4

June 10, 2003

In the past I've simply given updates on all the sections of the TWF and my opinions on those areas, but this time I think I'll do it a little different and that's by giving an opinion so close to the truth that you could smell what the truth ate for dinner on my opinions breath.

raw: first we see on raw stephanie mcmahon constantly falling victim to teddy long whom i like to call peanut head, and all the racist bullcrap that comes out of his mouth since his return. as far as i'm concerned stephanie needs to put him in his place not because of the color of his skin but simply because he is one of twf's biggest little jackasses. secondly, i am with out a doubt a huge supporter of damion west and all he's done recently and i also support shawn michaels and think it's great to see him rub off on high octane, but, what i wanna see is damion west simply not worry about anything but one thing and that is the title that strife carries around with him. lastly, to austin pyromania, while i congratulate him on winning his first title here in the twf like everyone, the one question i have is what happens when he runs into a real brick wall? he's proven that he can beat spawn and that psymin can't hold a candle to him, i wanna see austin face some stiffer competionguys that will both push and test him.

not impressed: i am not impressed as of late with the tag team division on raw for one reason, one man defeated the tag team champions by himself and yes that was triple h but in all honesty what does that say when a tag team can't beat a singles wrestler in a handicapped match? also i haven't been impressed with nathan jones simply cause he's making a rep for himself by picking on people smaller then him and he's got the talent of a trained circus monkey.

impressed with: strife has impressed the hell out of me since getting stabbed in the back by bahamut, everyone, myself included thought he'd never be the same and bahamut would shine but it was the total opposite, strife is the twf champion and is simply the man.

primetime: i think when it comes to primetime, shane mcmahon needs to step up when it comes to the business side, with the exception of the past few deals more new talent has gone to raw and that is something in my opinion that doesn't help the roster. i want to see a lot more out of the four elements. while they do look good together they haven't been enjoying that much success as a unit the past few weeks as of late, chris benoit needs to step up and lead this group and guide them to success but my one concern is simply this, with benoit and jansens as a team whom would go after the lightheavyweight tile between rey mysterio and carney? i think they need to decide. travis wakeman needs to stop playin games with matt hardy and i know he took him lightly because one of the greatest minds in the twf didn't see the beatdown he got coming.

not impressed: as i said i haven't been that impressed with the four elements as of late and also with shane mcmahon because of his lack of business savvy and for not getting the young roster the grizzled veteran the show needs to help take the weight or at least some of it off jordan rockwell's shoulders and speaking of which, i think rockwell needs to stop putting the roster ahead of himself and get his ass back into line for a title. which brings me back to shane, when i say stop doing the same thing and stop letting him do it to himself, while brock lesnar did deserve a title shot and so did rvd as well, but rockwell should of been given the rematch the whole world knows that he deserves and earns every single show.

impressed with: while his views are crap, i think aries has done a great job getting under the skin of tirpak and bradshaw. also the tag team division on primetime is a constant joy to watch and another thing i am impressed with is the fact that primetime as a whole improves constantly with it's lightheavyweight division and tag team along with loyal men like rockwell, rvd and improved talent like matt hardy and last, the one thing that i like the most is that primetime improves with a young roster.

smw: when it comes to the smw i think the powers that be need to start getting their stuff together, fact is you know there are problems when a company that has been in business for going on four years is being out done by the mfw who has been open for about 8 months.

not impressed: the one thing i am not impressed with is the way this company is being run, it needs to get a constant rythum going and it needs to get back to the way things used to be.

impressed: my hat goes off to the smw wrestlers, they go out there and bust their butts despite all the internal road blocks.

mfw: this company has grown a serious following because it has the right people in charge and those people put emphasis on every single person in the company not just those that have a certain look.

not impressed: the womens division needs to be worked better before it becomes a thing of the past.

impressed: i am impressed with the people in charge of the mfw whom constanly make the company better as well as it's newly formed x-division that seems to out shine the other three divisions.

is it me:

is it me or does anyone else wanna smack teddy long's bald head?

is it me or did primetime get screwed when they lost stone cold to raw and only gained nidia in the same fashion?

is it me or has bahamut fallen from grace a bit in the twf while strife continues to shine?

is it me or would you all rather watch a washing machine go then listen to and watch sable cut a promo?

is it me or does raw seem to be getting overcrowded?

is it me or does raw's womens division have more competion then it's tag team or toughman division does?

is it me(and it maybe) but does primetime need more for a couple of it's divisions?

well that's it for me this time! as a ways i'm ya boy jd saying this is my two cent's, but i'm not telling you anything you don't already know.
