Allstate Arena

Chicago, Illinois

Attendance: 9,108

April 14, 2008

November of 2006 was the last time the stars of PrimeTime were in Chicago and it would be the site of the 201st broadcast of the show. The fans lined up outside Allstate Arena for hours to get inside the building, ready to rock the house.

Turrican vs. Matt Bentley

After his successful debut, Turrican started the show off and he had the crowd going crazy, cheering for his aerial moves and laughing at his dance moves. Turrican dazzled with one big move after another, but Bentley nearly stole the match with a quick rollup. After missing a clothesline, Bentley walked into a nasty superkick and Turrican put him away with his signature move, "You sunk my battleship".

Carney vs. Tyson Dux (invitee)

This one started out fast and never slowed down. Tyson Dux may've even been the quicker of the two men, but he missed with a missile dropkick off the top rope and after a big hurracanrana, Carney put him away in just over 3 minutes with the "C-Drive".

Finlay vs. Umaga

Uprising featured one of the hardest hitting main events we've seen in awhile, as these two men just beat the hell out of each other. After a big Samoan drop, Umaga had firm control of the match. He used a kick to the back, a big splash and a diving headbutt off the middle turnbuckle to slow down the Irishman. But Finlay avoided an avalanche in the corner and caught Umaga with a dropkick to the knee. Finlay then unlaced and removed his right boot, but the referee took it right out of his hands. But as the referee tried to dispose of the boot, Finlay immediately grabbed the shillelagh and rocked Umaga with it. The Samoan Bulldozer fell like a ton of bricks and Finlay covered him for the 3 count!

Finlay's music played and he actually received a mixed reaction as he walked up the ramp, holding the shillelagh high.

PRIMETIME GOES LIVE

"RAP SUPERSTAR" PLAYS INTO THE OPENING MONTAGE FOR PRIMETIME ROLLS BEFORE THE ALLSTATE ARENA COMES INTO THE SHOT FULL OF SOME VERY EXCITED TWF FANS.

Michael Cole: "We continue on our road to WrestleMania with a stop in the Windy City and what a night of action we have for you tonight"!

A PROMO GRAPHIC FOR TONIGHT's MAIN EVENT BETWEEN EDGE AND CHAOS WOLF POPS UP.

Honky Tonk Man: "Oh yeah, tonight we will see champion versus champion when Chaos Wolf faces the Rated R Superstar...... Edge"!

"BURN IN MY LIGHT" BY MERCY DRIVE COMES ON AND RANDY ORTON COMES OUT TO MASS BOOS.

Cole: "And speaking of champions, we start this night off with the former multiple time Universal champion Randy Orton, who will look to grab a guaranteed title shot in the WrestleMania Jackpot match"!

HTM: "And you know I like this kid, I used to travel up and down the road with his father, but Cowboy Bob never attained half the success his son has and the scary thing is, there's plenty more success to come"!

ORTON GETS INTO THE RING AND GRABS A MICROPHONE.

Randy Orton: "For those of you who aren't keeping tabs, there are already four men who have qualified for the WrestleMania Jackpot match, but we all know who is gonna win...... and you're lookin' at him!

THE CROWD BEGINS TO BOO

Yeah, boo all you want, but how many times have I said I was gonna do something, and not done it?! So the only question is, when will I use the title shot that I have coming to me? I just want to put out a fair warning to anyone who holds a major title here in the TWF......... I...........

THE CROWD KEEPS BOOING, AND ORTON GETS MAD

Shut up! It sounds to me like you people are pretty disrespectful tonight! Either that, or you're just so used to booing that you know nothing else! I guess that's something I can understand, when you have teams like the Bears, Cubs and Bulls to cheer for! I mean, everyone knows this is the Windy City, but it's obvious that there is plenty more about this place that blows than the wind! (Orton points to a man in the crowd) Yeah, your wife is definitely one of them, man"!

THE CROWD LOUDLY POPS WHEN "THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY PLAYS AND AXL IRVIN STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK WITH A MICROPHONE.

Axl Irvin: "Orton...... if there's one thing I'm not gonna do, it's sit in the back and let you trash the great city of Chicago! Now, I know you have it as a foregone conclusion that you're gonna win the WrestleMania Jackpot match, but if you remember, I'm in it too! I'm sure these people would like to see a little preview of what's gonna happen, so if I can get a referee out here, we can see just that"!

THE CROWD CHEERSS AS REFEREE MICKEY HENSON RUNS OUT AND AXL HEADS TO THE RING.

Cole: "We've got an impromptu match between Axl and Orton"!

Randy Orton vs. Axl Irvin

Axl slid into the ring but Orton was ready for him with a few boots to the back. Axl got to his feet, but Orton landed a few stinging right hands before whipping him to the ropes. But Axl ducked a clothesline and lifted Orton up, dropping him throat first across the top rope. After a kick to the abdomen, Axl delivered a big swinging neckbreaker followed by a high elevation legdrop. Axl made the cover, but Orton was up at 2. The crowd was still hot as Axl delivered a big suplex before going to the apron and up to the top rope. Orton got to his feet as Axl took flight and Orton took him right out of mid air with an incredible dropkick! Orton pulled Axl up and shot him to the ropes. After a kick to the gut, he went for the "RKO" but Axl saw it coming, pushing him to the ropes before hitting an impressive powerslam. Axl called for the end of the match, getting Orton up for the "Axl Cutter". But Orton slid off his shoulders and landed on his feet before trying to whip Orton to the corner. Axl was able to reverse it and he followed in but Orton moved out of the way and then rolled Axl up. He got his feet up on the ropes, which Henson never saw, as he made the 3 count.

Match Time: 6:19

Cole: "Oh come on"!

HTM: "He got him! What a win for Randy Orton! Tell me, Cole, do you still think Orton is not the favorite in the WrestleMania Jackpot match"?!

"BURN IN MY LIGHT" PLAYED AGAIN AND THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOED AS ORTON LEFT THE RING WITH HIS ARMS RAISED WHILE IN THE RING, AXL COMPLAINED TO HENSON.

Cole: "Well I know one thing, he won't be able to win that match the way he just won this one! He'll have to climb a ladder and grab a briefcase while five other men are trying to stop him"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK............

A COMMERCIAL FOR UPS IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE "PROM NIGHT".

*DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS, RESULTS WILL BE CONDENSED FROM THIS POINT*

RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE.....

BACKSTAGE, TURRICAN IS JUMPING UP AND DOWN ON A DANCE, DANCE REVOLUTION ARCADE GAME. THE BACKSTAGE CREW IS LOOKING ON AND THEY ARE IMPRESSED WITH TURRICAN'S SKILLS, WHEN TALIA COMES INTO THE PICTURE TO SEE WHAT ALL THE COMMOTION IS.

Talia: "Ugh... it's just Tora...Tele... whatever the hell your name is."

Turrican: "Why don't you come closer to the Turrican so he show you how to dance"?

Talia: "And why don't you be more like my man, Gregory Helms, and grow up a little! DDR is child's play."

Turrican: "You are just jealous of Turrican's mad skills. Because you know Turrican is ichiban at dancing, wrestling and most importantly, showing sexxxy mamacita's just how to loosen up."

Talia: "I don't think so. My man Gregory has you beat on those last two. But I definitely have you beat at dancing, step aside!"

TALIA STEPS UP TO THE PLATFORM AND IMMEDIATELY THE GAME STARTS AND SHE STUMBLES AROUND THE MACHINE, UNSURE OF WHAT TO DO. SUDDENLY TURRICAN LIFTS UP TALIA'S SKIRT. TALIA PANICS AND FALLS OFF THE PLATFORM TO THE LAUGHS OF ALL THE GUYS. SHE STORMS OFF AS TURRICAN IS LEFT DANCING.

WrestleMania Jackpot Qualification Match

CM Punk vs. Harry Smith

This was a glimpse into the TWF's future as two of their brightest stars went at it here for a spot in the Jackpot match. The Chicago crowd was way behind Punk, who was performing in front of his hometown fans. But it was Smith who came out and used his power to combat the athletic and innovative Punk. After a huge powerslam that got a 2 count, Smith pulled Punk right up into the delay vertical suplex, letting all the blood rush down to his head before dropping him. After shooting Punk to the corner, Smith charged in with a clothesline but Punk moved out of the way. He then came in with a knee to the jaw before grabbing Smith and driving him into the mat with a jumping bulldog. When Smith got up, Punk hit him with a slap to either side of the head but when he went for a backhand, Smith swatted it away and connected with a pretty dropkick. Smith pulled Punk up and whipped him to the ropes but Punk countered a clothesline attempt with a crucifix, pulling Smith down into a pin and getting the 3 count!

Match Time: 4:59

BACKSTAGE AREA......

IN THE BACK, LENA YADA IS WITH JORDAN ROCKWELL.

Lena Yada: "Jordan Rockwell, we all saw what happened in the Bar Room Brawl at Code Red. I know you've asked for this time, so go ahead".

Jordan Rockwell: "Ya know, in this business the first lesson or one of them that you are taught is to never under-estimate your opponent and at Code Red I made the mistake of doing the exact opposite. I walked into that fight thinking that JBL would show up and fight me like a man should and that is one on one because fact is when it comes to this business you are going to win and lose some, but you live to fight another day. So I want to firstly say that is a mistake that I will never and I mean ever make again!

The fans inside cheer.

Secondly John, I want to say that I want to thank you and yes you heard me right, I want to take this time to thank you because at Code Red and over the past few weeks, I just have not been the same. Because of this thing between us, I have neglected my tag team championship partner Shawn Michaels along with my duties and responsibilities that I have here on PrimeTime and in this company. So I want to thank you for reminding me just who the hell I am and who I am is the greatest showman in the history of this business! Who I am is the mvp of the game! Who I am is the guy that owns the show that everyone tries to steal, the ass kickin', superstar makin', extreme measure hittin', TWF Franchise....... Jordan Rockwell!

The fans cheer louder.

And without a shadow of a doubt, hands down and simply put the absolute best..... ever! And as far as PJ Cash goes, well son, I got some footage that I put together to show you exactly what you're in for, take a look".

On a monitor mounted behind Lena and Rockwell, footage begins to roll on the with the first clip being of the tag team Hell in a Cell match from Eruption when Rockwell and Michaels put Dustin Kash through a flaming table. Then footage rolled from the 2003 Payback when Rockwell fought Rhyno in the violent stretcher match. Then the last piece of footage is of Rockwell tossing Nails off the top of the Hell in a Cell and then burying him in the Buried Alive match.

Rockwell: "Ya see, Cash, everyone of those guys made the mistake of pissing me off and that brought them to the point where I did a lot of bad things to them and trust me, when I tell you that you will not be an exception, you're just next! So I hope you tie your boots tight and I hope you're ready cause to quote my hero Ric Flair, we've only just begun"!

ROCKWELL WALKS AWAY AND LENA SEEMS IMPRESSED BY HIS WORDS.

IN ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA, DUSTIN KASH IS TALKING WITH JOHN MORRISON AND RIC FLAIR COMES FROM BEHIND AND GRABS KASH BY THE ARM, SPINNING HIM AROUND.

Dustin Kash: "What do you want, old man"?

FLAIR SLAPS KASH ACROSS THE FACE.

Ric Flair: "What I want is for guys like you to show some respect! I'm so tired of.......

Kash: "Whoa, before I leave you laying like I did the last time we were face to face, I'd suggest you calm down. Flair, we all know you're in the final stretch of your what, seventy-five year career? I know you want a match, but before I take you up on that, I suggest you watch my match later tonight. You might want to reconsider that idea".

KASH AND MORRISON WALK AWAY AND FLAIR IS STEAMING MAD.

THE SHOT GOES TO THE RING AND JUST BEFORE MATT HARDY IS INTRODUCED, ARIEL SENDS A WARNING TO THE UNDERTAKER, DARING HIM TO MESS WITH HER AND KEVIN THORN.

Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel vs. Matt Hardy

Before this one could really get going, the lights in the arena began to flicker and a foggy mist appeared around the ring. The fans were cheering and loving it but Thorn and Ariel certainly were not as they slowly backed away and headed to the back.

COMMERCIAL BREAK.......

RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE.....

WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, RIC FLAIR FINDS JOHN CENA IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA.

Ric Flair: "Hey, man, I just wanted to thank you for having my back at Code Red".

John Cena: "Oh, you know me, no one is gonna disrespect the Nature Boy like that".

Flair: "Yeah, tell that to this punk Dustin Kash".

FLAIR STARTS TO WALK OFF WHEN SHANE McMAHON COMES UP.

Shane McMahon: "Cena..... did you hear about Money Mike's challenge"?

Cena: "Nah, what about it"?

Shane: "He's challenged you to a match on Rampage".

Cena: "Fine, I'll be there, count me in. But..... if your sister gets in the way..........

AT FIRST, SHANE LOOKS WORRIED, BUT THEN CRACKS A SMILE AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO RINGSIDE.

Dustin Kash vs. Super Crazy

Kash came out very aggressive in this match, grounding Crazy and pounding him on the mat. After a tilt-a-whirl into a piledriver, it looked like it was over, but somehow, Super Crazy kicked out. Kash missed with a running boot to the face and after a nice dropkick, Crazy delivered a sitout spinebuster. Crazy went to the top rope and flew off with a moonsault, but Kash got his knees up. Crazy grabbed his midsection in a lot of pain but after a kick to the abdomen, Kash turned him around and delivered the Vertebreaker, rolling him over for the 3 count.

Match Time: 4:29

After the match, Ric Flair's music hits and he comes out to a standing ovation, with a microphone in hand. Flair challenges Kash to a match at WrestleMania, adding that if he can't beat him, he'll retire. With a grin on his face from ear to ear, Kash nods his head in acceptance.

TWF Hall of Fame Class of 2008 Inductee- Jeff Jarrett

J-E-double F J-A-double R- E- double T, that's Double J, Jeff Jarrett. That was the way Jeff Jarrett would introduce himself to TWF fans, most of which he was never able to endear himself to, but those same fans could not deny the ability of Jarrett. Jarrett was one of the men who helped get the TWF off and running upon it's inception. Jarrett will always be remembered as the TWF's very first Intercontinental champion but he will be remembered more for his love and dedication to the professional wrestling business. We are proud to welcome Jeff Jarrett into the TWF Hall of Fame.

Eddie Saint James w/ Monica vs. "Johnny Hazard"

The Saint brought out the same imposter Johnny Hazard we have seen for several weeks and after bullying the out of shape, athletically challenged man around, The Saint put him out of his misery with the "Death to Humanity". But after the match, fans were left buzzing as a fire poker fell from the rafters and became lodged in the mat! Cameras immediately looked up to see the real Johnny Hazard standing up there, holding onto a cable. With a very sinister look in his eyes, Hazard then pointed down at The Saint and Monica, one by one!

COMMERCIAL BREAK...........

RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE......

WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, JORDAN ROCKWELL IS WITH SHAWN MICHAELS.

Shawn Michaels: "I just talked to Shane, we got the match at WrestleMania. It's you and I against JBL and PJ Cash for the Tag Team titles"!

Jordan Rockwell: "Did he go for the stipulation"?

Michaels: "He said he would come up with something".

Rockwell: "Good enough. Listen, man, I know my head has been elsewhere a lot lately, but I just want to let you know that I am one hundred percent behind this team and I'm ready to go to war at WrestleMania".

Michaels: "That's good to here, I mean, I had my doubts, but I know when the chips are down, there's no one better to have on your side than The Franchise"!

ROCKWELL AND MICHAELS SLAP HANDS AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING.

REPLAYS OF THE FIRE POKER BEING DROPPED TO THE RING ARE SHOWN REPEATEDLY AS THE RING CREW IS BUSY SWITCHING OUT THE MAT.

JBL and PJ Cash vs. The Highlanders

Just named the challengers for the Tag Team titles at WrestleMania, JBL and his personal benefactor PJ Cash had their first match as a team. But the former champions Highlanders were not going to go down easily. JBL and Cash had some issues getting accustomed to one another, and the Highlanders took advantage, working on Cash for a solid 5 minutes in the ring. After a double backbody drop, Cash was in a lot of trouble as Rory and Robbie readied for a Battering Ram. But Cash moved out of the way and then caught Robbie with a jumping enziguri kick. JBL tagged into the match and after a fallaway slam on Rory, he smashed Robbie with the "Clothesline from Hell" to win the match. Cash came into the ring and disposed of Rory before he and JBL motioned for the belts around their waists.

Match Time: 6:08

BACKSTAGE......

IN THE BACK, LENA YADA IS WITH CHAOS WOLF, WHO HAS THE ECW WORLD TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER.

Lena Yada: "Chaos Wolf, in just a matter of moments, you will face Edge in tonight's main event. Now we all remember you defeating Joe Corey to become ECW World champion, but it seems like more people are crediting Edge for winning that title for you, than they are you for winning it yourself".

Chaos Wolf: "Ya know, Lena, that's to be expected. Bottom line is, Joe Corey has always taken a win however he can get it, so I am doing the same thing. I'm standing here with the belt right now.... not him! Isn't that all that matters"?

JUST THEN, JOE COREY COMES UP AND GETS IN WOLF's FACE.

Joe Corey: "Well since you're such a competitor, why don't you give my guy, Sylvester Terkay a title match at WrestleMania? He personally wants to get our property back. That is, if you survive tonight".

COREY WALKS AWAY LAUGHING AS THE SHOT FADES OUT.

COMMERCIAL BREAK............

RETURN FROM BREAK...... RINGSIDE.......

Non-Title/Champion vs. Champion

ECW World Champion: Chaos Wolf vs. Universal Champion: Edge

Before Edge and Wolf could even lock up, Joe Corey and Sylvester Terkay hit the ring. Corey took Edge out from behind with a chop block as Terkay hit Wolf from the blind side with a right hand to the jaw. Corey delivered the "Showstopper" to Edge as Terkay viciously pulled at the right arm of Wolf, trying to seriously injure him. Finally, officials came out from the back just as Corey brought a steel chair into the ring. Corey was ready to smash both men with it, but Shane McMahon ran out and stood in the way, yelling that he would remove him from the Universal title match at WrestleMania if he made one more move. As the crowd booed, Corey and Terkay left amid plenty of damage as "Miseria Cantare" played and the shot faded to black.............
