CAMERAS....... ACTION..........! THE STAPLES CENTER COMES INTO THE SHOT AND A DOUBLE SPOTLIGHT CIRCLES THE ARENA, SHOWING THOUSANDS OF TWF FANS SCREAMING THEIR LUNGS OUT. Jim Ross: "Nearly nineteen thousand people have come to the Staples Center tonight for TWF DoomsDay, King, and I gotta say, I damn sure believe they're gonna get their money's worth"! Jerry Lawler: "Nineteen thousand fans and that doesn't even include the people watching around the world! There are over forty countries getting DoomsDay on pay-per-view tonight"! THE MAJOR BROTHERS' MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT FROM THE BACK TO A BIG POP. THE DOOMSDAY SET CONTAINS THE SKULL LOGO AND THE ENTRY WAY IS A LARGE GUILLOTINE MOVING UP AND DOWN. A MASKED EXECUTIONER, HOLDING A LARGE AXE, STANDS ON EITHER SIDE. J.R.: "We've got plenty of action to get to, eight matches in total, and we're starting with the Rampage Tag Team titles"! Lawler: "Did you hear what that idiot behind us just said"?! J.R.: "No, what was it"? Lawler: "Oh it's not worth repeating, trust me". J.R.: "Great oppurtunity here for these two young kids. Brett and Brian Major are one of the young up and coming teams here in the TWF and this is no doubt their biggest match to date". "PICTURES" BY SYSTEM OF A DOWN HITS AND EYE SPY COMES OUT FROM THE BACK TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. CANDICE LEADS THEM DOWN THE AISLE, AND THEY EACH HAVE THEIR TAG TEAM TITLE AROUND THEIR WAIST. ALEX SHELLEY IS ALSO CARRYING HIS TRIPOD AND CAMERA. Lawler: "Oh but look at these guys, J.R., what a team and wow, look at Candice.... what a....... J.R.: "Yeah, I think we all know where you're going with that one. Eye Spy won these titles back in August, ending a great title reign by the World's Greatest Tag Team but these Major Brothers present a young, athletic, aerially skilled challenge". Lawler: "And we know that M.X. Ogden has a bit of a past with both of these guys and you've gotta wonder what kind of role that will play into the match". J.R.: "Ogden and the Major Brothers both broke into the business in the same wrestling school in New York City but Ogden and Shelley have really jelled into one heck of a team". Lawler: "Plus, they got Candice! My gosh, does is she smokin' or what"?! TWF Rampage Tag Team Title Match Challengers: The Major Brothers vs. Eye Spy w/ Candice The bell sounded to start the match and Alex Shelley got into the ring along with Brian Major. But Brian pointed at M.X. Ogden and said, "I want you". Shelley looked at Ogden who stretched his hand out to make the tag. Ogden came into the ring and after he and Brian went around the ring in a half circle, they locked up. Brian dropped down to one knee and took Ogden over with a hip toss before sweeping his feet out from under him when he got back up. Brian pulled Ogden to his feet and sent him to the ropes but he missed with a clothesline and Ogden used the ring ropes on the other side to catch Brian with a springboard crossbody. After yelling an obscenity at his former training partner, Ogden turned and knocked Brett Major off the apron with a right hand. Following two stiff european uppercuts, Ogden made the tag to Shelley who came back in and twisted the right arm of Brian, yanking at the socket. He then ran to the corner and jumped up to the top rope, flying off and pulling Brian to the mat by his right arm. Brian rolled around the ring in pain as Shelley tagged Ogden back in. Eye Spy picked Brian Major up and whipped him to the corner. Ogden grabbed his partner and whipped him towards Brian but Brian was able to move out of the corner and catch M.X. with a flying heel kick. After a backbody drop on Shelley, Brian dove to his corner and made the tag to his partner Brett, who was all fired up. Brett hip tossed Ogden and then dropkicked Shelley before picking Ogden up and catching him with a big powerslam off an irish whip. With the right leg hooked, Brett had the cover, but Shelley broke it up at 2. Referee Scott Martin pushed Shelley back into his corner but after a scoop slam, Brett made the tag back to Brian, who went to the top rope. Using his partner as a weapon, Brett launched Brian across the ring with a rocket launcher and he took Ogden out with a flying clothesline. Brian covered M.X., but Shelley again came in to stop the count. Brian lost his focus and went after Shelley but Martin split that up and with the referee's back turned, Ogden lowblowed Brian with a forearm to the crotch. Brett Major came into the ring, steamed about what Ogden just did, but Martin ran over to stop him and get him back to his corner. Shelley jumped into the ring and clapped his own hands to create the sound of a tag. After a rake of Brian's eyes, Shelley hit a nice side russian leg sweep and then a big swinging neckbreaker. Shelley motioned for Candice to go and get the camera ready, which she did, setting the camcorder up on the tripod. Shelley tagged in Ogden and after a double suplex on Brian, he went for the cover, but Brian was up at 2. Ogden pulled Brian over to Eye Spy's corner before smashing his chest with knifedge chops. After tagging Shelley back in the ring, Ogden popped Brian with another big right hand. Shelley then turned and hammered Brett with a cheap shot, just as Ogden did earlier. Shelley then yelled to his corner, "Make sure you get this"! Shelley pulled Brian up by the hair and tried to pick him up but Brian blocked it and countered with a small package. Martin was in great position to get down and make the 3 count, and just like that, it was over. Match Time: 10:32 Lawler: "No way.... you gotta be kidding"! J.R.: "We've got new champions! The Major's have done it"! THE MAJOR BROTHERS' MUSIC PLAYED AGAIN AND SCOTT MARTIN GAVE THEM THE TITLES BEFORE THEY EMBRACED WITH A HUGE, EXCITED HUG. OUTSIDE THE RING, EYE SPY LOUDLY ARGUED THE DECISION. Lawler: "That was the fastest three count in the history of the TWF"! J.R.: "What a night for these kids.... oh, you gotta feel good for them"! THE MAJORS CONTINUED TO CELEBRATE THEIR VICTORY AS EYE SPY WENT UP THE RAMP, STILL IN DISBELIEF AS THEY LOOKED ON. Lawler: "Well if that's any indication of how this night is gonna go, anything could happen"! BACKSTAGE.... LUYU DAWNSTAR's DRESSING ROOM....... CAMERAS IN LUYU's DRESSING ROOM SHOW CHINA ROSE TYING ONE FINAL BALLOON TO A TABLE THAT CONTAINS A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE AND SEVERAL OTHER PARTY FAVORS. THE WORD "CONGRATULATIONS" HANGS OVER THE TABLE AS WELL. China Rose (to herself): "I sure hope she likes this......... BACK TO THE ACTION, "SUPERSTAR" BY SALIVA HITS AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION, BUT THE BOOS SLOWLY BEGIN TO DROWN OUT THE CHEERS AS HE TAUNTS THE FANS. Lawler: "Wow, it looks like China Rose has gone all out, J.R."! J.R.: "She's got something planned for Luyu Dawnstar, but Luyu has a great challenge in the form of Mickie James later tonight". Lawler: "Yeah, but here comes the Canadian Mustang, the King of Sting..... Jason Oliver"! "ONE OF A KIND" NY BREAKING POINT COMES ON AND ROB VAN DAM STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK TO A HUGE POP, ONE OF THE BIGGEST OF THE NIGHT. J.R.: "Several weeks ago, these two men had a verbal altercation that led to RVD issuing a challenge to Jason Oliver, who decided to attack RVD before the match even started"! Lawler: "Jason Oliver is out to prove he's the most technically sound guy in our business, J.R., he didn't want to mess with RVD and his hardcore style"! J.R.: "Yeah so he attacked him from behind, way to prove that point"! Jason Oliver vs. Rob Van Dam The bell sounded to start the match and after a brief feeling each other out process, RVD threw some kicks to keep Oliver back. Finally, Oliver dropped to one knee and got a single leg, tripping Van Dam up. Oliver dropped an elbow to the inside of his right leg before twisting it out of place. But Van Dam was able to get to the ropes for a break. As he stood up, Oliver came from behind and kicked his legs out from under him. Oliver then pulled RVD up and pushed him into the corner before kicking him twice in the abdomen and slapping his chest with a knifedge. After a snap mare out of the corner, Oliver kicked RVD square in the back to take complete control early. RVD slowly got to his feet and Oliver got him up on his shoulders in position for his torcher rack but he turned it into a sit down backbreaker and went for the cover to get a long 2 count. Oliver pulled him up again and set him up for a suplex but RVD used his foot to block it. He then got Oliver up for a suplex of his own and dropped him before landing a corkscrew legdrop. RVD was finally building some momentum but when he went for the Rolling Thunder, Oliver got his knees up right in his back. Oliver then dropped a big elbow across the chest of Van Dam before standing right on his ponytail and pulling both arms up. Referee Chad Patton utilized his 5 count and Oliver broke it. Oliver pulled RVD up again and pushed him into the corner before hammering him with 3 hard forearms to the back. He then tried to pick him up for a backdrop suplex but RVD flipped off his shoulder, landing on his feet. Oliver threw a clothesline but RVD ducked and used the ropes to perform a springboard spin kick to the head. That led to the Rolling Thunder and this time, RVD hit it. The fans were back into the match as RVD waited for Oliver to get up, belting him with kicks to the legs and body. Oliver tried to throw a kick of his own but RVD caught his foot and turned it into his stepover heel kick. Oliver was down as RVD went to the apron and sprung to the top rope. Ready to take flight, RVD was knocked off his perch by a diving Oliver. As RVD sat on the top turnbuckle, Oliver then grabbed him by the back of the head and pulled him face first to the mat with a high impact complete shot. Oliver rolled on top of RVD and hooked both legs as Patton made the 1........2.......3. Match Time: 5:58 Lawler: "Look at that! I think he knocked RVD out cold"! J.R.: "It was a desperation move by Oliver as RVD was no doubt looking for that Five Star Frogsplash, but it paid off"! "SUPERSTAR" BLARED OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AGAIN AS OLIVER WALKED UP THE RAMP IN VICTORY. Lawler: "It sure did! What a win for the King of Sting"! BACKSTAGE...... AUSTIN PYROMANIA AND TAYLOR MADE ARE SHOWN TALKING IN THE BACK. Austin Pyromania: "No dude, I swear, it was Jessica Alba, no doubt". Taylor Made: "Just cause we're in Hollywood, doesn't mean you automatically see hot chicks". JUST THEN, KELLY WALKS INTO THE PICTURE IN A VERY SKIMPY SPAGHETTI STRAP TANK TOP AND TIGHT BLUE JEANS. BOTH MEN LOOK HER UP AND DOWN IN AWE. Kelly: "Sooo..... is this enough to distract Elijah out there tonight"? Taylor: "Uh, yeah, Kell, exactly what we were looking for". THE SHOT SWITCHES TO THE OFFICE OF MUHAMMAD HASSAN WHERE HE IS WITH CHRIS MASTERS AND MARK HENRY. Chris Masters: "Aghhh... you gotta be kidding me". Muhammad Hassan: "I don't like it any more than you do, but the Board of Directors say they want to add some spice to tonight's main event". Mark Henry: "So the title is on the line"? Hassan: "Yes, if Hogan or The Rock pin either one of you tonight, that man will become the TWF World champion". THE FANS INSIDE THE ARENA LOUDLY CHEER AT THAT ANNOUNCEMENT. Masters (to Henry): "You better not let that happen". THE LIGHTS IN THE ARENA GO OUT AND "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI STARTS UP. THE SPOTLIGHT ZONES IN ON THE ECW ENTRANCE IN THE CROWD AND MOMENTS LATER, ELIJAH BURKE AND SYLVESTER TERKAY EMERGE AND ARE SHOWERED WITH BOOS. J.R.: "Tag team action on the way here at DoomsDay and here comes one of the more athletic teams we've ever seen here in the TWF, Elijah Burke and the man from Big Bear, California.... what do you suppose Sylvester Terkay eats for breakfast, King"? Lawler: "Never mind that, did you see what Kelly was wearing"?! "DON'T PLAY WITH FIRE" BY TUPAC COMES ON AND AUSTIN PYROMANIA COMES OUT ALONG WITH TAYLOR MADE AND KELLY TO A VERY BIG CHEER. J.R.: "It'd be hard not to, she's a very attractive young lady". Lawler: "She made the comment about it being distractive to Elijah Burke..... man I think she's distracting everyone in Los Angeles"! J.R.: "Elijah Burke does seem a little smitten with Kelly, but the rest of his ECW group wants him to stay far away from her". THE CAMERA GETS A SHOT OF ELIJAH SMILING AT KELLY AS THE BELL SOUNDS TO START THE MATCH. Austin Pyromania and Taylor Made w/ Kelly vs. Knockout-Tapout Connection With Burke seemingly distracted, Sylvester Terkay came into the ring with Taylor Made to start the match and he went right to work with several punches to the body. After some hard right hands, Terkay picked Taylor up and dropped him across his knee with a backbreaker. Burke then accepted a tag and shot himself over the top rope, dropping an elbow across the throat of Taylor. He covered him with a lateral press, but Taylor was up at 2. Burke picked Taylor up and dumped him with a scoop slam before slapping the hand of Terkay who came in and pounded Taylor with more punches to the kidneys. After shooting Taylor to the corner, Terkay ran in but missed him when he moved aside. After a jumping enziguri, Taylor rolled to his corner and tagged Pyromania who got a running start, charging at Terkay. But Terkay moved out of the way and Pyro slammed into the steel ringpost. Terkay picked him up and put his right arm behind his back, bodyslamming him right on it. Burke made a tag and came into the ring, stomping on the arm of Pyromania before pulling him up and yanking at the same arm. In plenty of pain, Pyro fought Burke off and after 3 right hands, he ducked a clothesline and hit the ropes, smashing him with a clothesline of his own. Taylor Made got the switch and came into the ring, ready to bring his team back. Following a nice hip toss slam, he went to the top rope, but before he could fly off, Terkay ran over and pushed him to the mat. Burke then picked him up and delivered the 'Elijah Express' before rolling Taylor over. But before he could get the 3 count, Pyromania came in to break up the fall. Both men got to their feet as referee Jose Mendez got Pyro out of the ring. Burke threw a right hand, but Taylor blocked it and hit the ropes after a right hand of his own. But both men were thinking the same thing, taking each other down with a clothesline. Slow to get up, both men made tags and Pyromania came into the ring, beating Terkay to the punch. After a kick to the midsection, Pyromania buried the Manbear with a DDT. He made the cover, but Terkay was easily up. Pyro went for an irish whip but Terkay reversed it and as Pyro hit the ropes, Burke drove a knee into his back. Burke then slapped the hand of Terkay to get back into the match and he went into a boxing stance, dropping Pyro with a right cross. Just then, Kelly got up on the apron and began to show off her "assets", dancing on the apron. Burke looked mesmerized as Pyromania began to get to a knee. But Terkay came back into the ring, shoving Pyromania from behind. He went hard into Burke who then hit Kelly, knocking her to the floor. Pyro then turned around and Terkay nailed him with the debilitating Heart Punch. Taylor Made jumped into the ring and Terkay nailed him with a clothesline as Burke fell into a cover on Pyromania and Mendez issued the 3 count. Match Time: 14:17 J.R.: "That Heart Punch can be a ruthless manuever, King, and Austin Pyromania just felt it's full effects"! Lawler: "The Knockout-Tapout Connection has gotten the win, but I want to know if Kelly is okay"! TAYLOR WENT OUTSIDE THE RING TO CHECK ON KELLY WHILE PYROMANIA WAS STILL DOWN IN THE RING. "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN AS TERKAY AND BURKE LEFT TO PLENTY OF HEAT. J.R.: "She took a hard fall and landed awkwardly and I'm with ya, King, I hope she's alright". BACKSTAGE...... DRESSING ROOM....... CAMERAS SHOW CODY RHODES LACING HIS BOOTS. THE SOUND OF A DOOR CLOSING IS HEARD AND CODY STANDS UP TO GIVE HIS FATHER, THE LEGENDARY DUSTY RHODES, A HUG. Cody Rhodes: "I can't thank you enough for where I am right now, pops. I owe it all to you". Dusty Rhodes: "This isn't about me, son, tonight is about you. Now let's go out there and do this". CODY AND DUSTY LEAVE THE ROOM BEFORE THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING. "ANIMAL I HAVE BECOME" BY THREE DAYS GRACE HITS AND LUYU DAWNSTAR COMES OUT TO A BIG CHEER. J.R.: "Cody Rhodes and his father, one of the true greats in this business, will square off against the Million Dollar Corporation a little later tonight, but right now, we've got the Women's title on the line"! Lawler: "Well that match will feature a member of the Lakota tribe in Tatanka but so will this one with Luyu Dawnstar"! Lawler: "And you said it, J.R., Mickie is one heck of a diva, in more ways than one"! J.R.: "One can only speculate what a win tonight would do for the career of Luyu Dawnstar, but in my eyes, she would be catapulted into that upper echelon of TWF divas we've seen around here! One thing I can tell ya, King, is these two young ladies have quite a bit of respect for one another". TWF Women's Title Match Challenger: Luyu Dawnstar vs. Mickie James The bell sounded and the two ladies went right to work, looking for a place to strike. Mickie was able to whip Luyu to the mat with an armdrag, but Luyu popped up before catching Mickie with one of her own. Mickie got up and avoided a back footsweep, but Luyu kicked her right in the abdomen before hitting a big neckbreaker drop. After a legdrop, Luyu topped Mickie for a 2 count. Mickie got up, holding the back of her neck as Luyu kept the pressure on with several more sharp kicks. After whipping the champion to the far corner, Luyu went into a back handspring but Mickie moved out of the way and drilled her with a spinning kick to the gut followed by a nasty spike DDT. Mickie made the cover and got the 1..........2.........., but Luyu got her foot on the bottom rope to prevent the 3 count. Mickie pulled her up and grabbed her for a running bulldog, but Luyu was able to counter into a very nice falling backdrop. After a standing moonsault got her a 2 count, Luyu went to the high risk area, the top rope. After waited for Mickie to get up, Luyu took flight but Mickie dropkicked her right out of the air! Both women were down and the crowd seemed torn on who to cheer for. As Mickie began to get to her feet by using the ring ropes, China Rose ran down to the ring and grabbed the Women's title, sliding it under the bottom rope to Luyu. Luyu grabbed the belt and looked at China in disbelief before tossing the belt back at her! China was surprised but you could clearly see Luyu mouth the words "I can't do that". As soon as she did, she turned around and Mickie dropped her with a back spin kick to the head before falling into the cover and hooking the leg for referee Jack Doan to make the 3 count. Match Time: 6:11 J.R.: "I'm not sure what China Rose was thinking, but Luyu obviously didn't want to win that way". Lawler: "She was just trying to help her friend win the Women's title". MICKIE's MUSIC HIT AND SHE GOT THE BELT, RAISING IT ABOVE HER HEAD FOR THE FANS BEFORE TURNING TO LOOK AT LUYU, WHO WAS YELLING AT CHINA ROSE. J.R.: "No, King, I don't think they're friends, China Rose has some sort of weird obsession with Luyu Dawnstar, and it just cost her this match". ECW DRESSING ROOM J.J. RAMPLIN, ELIJAH BURKE AND SYLVESTER TERKAY ARE ALL SHOWN SITTING IN THEIR DRESSING ROOM WHEN ECW WORLD CHAMPION JOE COREY AND PAUL HEYMAN ENTER, MAKING A SURPRISE APPEARANCE. THE CROWD INSIDE THE ARENA LOUDLY BOOS. J.J. Ramplin: "Hey, boss". COREY EXTENDS HIS HAND AND SHAKES J.J.'s. Joe Corey: "Take care of Kennedy tonight...... and way to get it done out there guys! (Corey slaps Terkay on the shoulder) You guys know that the King of the Ring tournament starts this week on Rampage, right? Okay, things haven't gone according to plan on PrimeTime, because everyone but me has already been eliminated. But I just talked to Muhammad Hassan, and things aren't gonna be that way on Rampage". Paul Heyman: "That's right, because we made sure all three of you have a spot in the tournament. You see, boys, this year's King of the Ring winner gets a golden ticket to the main event at WrestleMania, so now, more than ever, is ECW's chance to prove it's dominance". Joe Corey: "Go into the tournament and make sure you take out whoever is in your way.......... ECW will become the strongest force the TWF has ever seen". "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" HITS FOLLOWING THE HECKLING LAUGH OF THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN. BOOS POUR FROM THE STANDS AS TED DIBIASE AND TATANKA MAKE THEIR WAY OUT TO THE RING. J.R.: "J.J. Ramplin still has a huge title defense against Ken Kennedy tonight and if I'm him, I'm putting my focus on that before I even start to think about the King of the Ring tournament". Lawler: "ECW wants power, J.R., they want to be the most powerful group of all time. Power is something Ted Dibiase knows quite well, he can buy it"! J.R.: "The Million Dollar Man has spent his entire wrestling career ruining the lives of those with the almighty dollar, but tonight, he has to step in the line of fire himself"! "AMERICAN DREAM" HITS AND DUSTY RHODES COMES OUT WITH HIS SON CODY TO ONE HUGE CHEER. DUSTY IS ACTUALLY IN A PAIR OF HIS OLD SCHOOL BLACK AN RED TRUNKS. Lawler: "Look at Dusty Rhodes, he's ready to go"! J.R.: "The son of a plumber, Dusty Rhodes is a bonafide wrestling legend and this will be his first ever match inside a TWF ring, with his youngest son, no less"! Tatanka and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase vs. Cody and Dusty Rhodes Tatanka and Cody Rhodes started the match and Cody attempted to stay out of the clinch with the Native American. Tatanka backed him into the corner but Cody kicked him twice in the gut before throwing a hard overhand right. Tatanka shook it off and came back with one of his own, starting a tradeoff of punches. Tatanka whacked the chest of the young Rhodes, blistering his chest with a few knifedge chops. After hiptossing him out of the corner, Tatanka turned and pounded Dusty with a cheap shot. Tatanka then shot Cody into his team's corner and distracted referee Jim Korderas while Dibiase used the tag rope to choke Cody. Dibiase released it but Tatanka slammed into him with a clothesline. He then tried to get Cody up on his shoulders for the Trail's End but Cody turned it into a crucifix pin to get the 1........2........., but Tatanka was up. Tatanka made the tag to Dibiase, one of the great ring generals of his time. Dusty was begging for the tag from his son, but he could only stand and watch and Dibiase put the boots to him. After a falling fistdrop, Dibiase let out his trademark laugh to the booing crowd. But when he tried to pull Cody up, Cody popped him twice in the stomach before taking him down with a perfect dropkick. That allowed him to slap his father's hand and Dusty came into the ring to a huge reaction. After 3 of his signature elbows, Dusty shot Dibiase to the ropes and lifted him into the air with a backbodu drop. He then dropped the Bionic Elbow on the Million Dollar Man and he had the match won, but Tatanka came in to break up the pin. Dibiase got up and put a thumb into Dusty's eye which allowed him to tag Tatanka back in. Tatanka rocked Rhodes with a tomahawk chop but Dusty fired back with a right hand. Another right staggered him and a big windup elbow dropped the Native American. Dusty began to get the crowd involved but Dibiase pulled Korderas over to their corner. Just then, Irwin R. Schyster came out of the crowd and knocked Cody Rhodes off the apron with his briefcase. Dusty saw this and tried to go after I.R.S. but Tatanka came from behind with a lowblow. Tatanka then showed a great deal of power, picking Dusty up and delivering the "Wykea" before covering him to get the 3 count. Match Time: 6:46 J.R.: "Well I'll be damned! What the hell was that"! Lawler: "That was Dibiase's tax man.... I.R.S."! "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYED AGAIN AS DIBIASE, I.R.S. AND TATANKA WALKED UP THE RAMP, THRILLED WITH THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENT. IN THE RING, CODY TENDED TO HIS DAD. J.R.: "Take a look up there, ref, ever wonder where that jerk in the red tie came from"?! Lawler: "That's what you forgot, J.R., this was between the Rhodes family and Dibiase's entire Corporation"! (laughs) BACKSTAGE AREA....... THE CROWD CHEERS AS LOUD AS THEY CAN AT THE SIGHT OF HULK HOGAN AND THE ROCK ON THE TWF TRON. Hulk Hogan: "I gotta say, man, I really like the decision the Board of Director's made". The Rock: "Yeah, I can hear it now, your new TWF World champion..... theeee most electrifying man in sports and entertainment today...... The Rock! Heh, sounds good, doesn't it"? Hogan: "I don't know, dude, I kinda like the sound of me winning that title just as much, I mean, it's not too late for one last run". THE ROCK LOOKS AT HOGAN WITH A SERIOUS LOOK ON HIS FACE, THEN SMILES. The Rock: "Yeah..... right". THE ROCK WALKS AWAY, BUT HOGAN FAILS TO FIND THE HUMOR. "MISTERRRRR KENNEDYYYYY" IS HEARD AND KEN KENNEDY COMES OUT TO A HUGE CHEER. HE HAS A VERY FOCUSED LOOK ON HIS FACE. J.R.: "Hulk Hogan and The Rock will be teammates in tonight's tag team main event but King, it's now time for one of tonight's marquee matches". Lawler: "Boy is it ever. We've seen Mister Kennedy and J.J. Ramplin wage war on one another for months now"! J.R.: "Kennedy was able to win the King of Cable title from Ramplin at Anarchy Rulz, only to lose it back to him one month later at MeltDown. Tonight is the final chapter". THE LIGHTS AGAIN GO OUT AND "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYS ONE MORE TIME, BRINGING J.J. RAMPLIN OUT FROM THE ECW ENTRANCE. HE HAS THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. Lawler: "Well here comes the champion and with Joe Corey in attendance tonight, it gives The Ram that much more incentive to win this match"! J.R.: "ECW is already one for one tonight with the tag team victory earlier for Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay..... a win here would certainly be a big feather in the cap of Ramplin, and ECW as a whole". TWF King of Cable Title Match Challenger: Mr. Kennedy vs. J.J. "The Ram" Ramplin Ramplin removed the King of Cable title and handed it to referee Jack Doan but the second he turned his back, Kennedy took a page out of his book, attacking him before the bell rang. Kennedy was all over him, rocking him with right hands before whipping him to the ropes for a big powerslam. Kennedy went into a cover, but Ramplin was easily up. Kennedy tried to capitalize off the quick start, whipping Ramplin to the corner before following him with a big body splash. Kennedy then went for some sort of reverse STO but he fell hard on the back of his head when Ramplin blocked it by grabbing the top rope. Ramplin followed that up with a big vertical suplex before going to the apron. With Kennedy down, Ramplin used the ropes to shoot himself into the ring with a flying legdrop, dropping it right across the throat of Kennedy. A very laxidasical cover by Ramplin got him a 2 count. He then focused on the lower back of Kennedy, using his knee and driving it into his lumbaric region. Kennedy was able to get to the ropes to relieve the pressure, but the champion was in firm control. Ramplin kicked Kennedy several times when he got up, knocking him into the corner where he drove his shoulder into his abdomen multiple times. Ramplin then pulled Kennedy in for a DDT but Kennedy was able to block it and spin around, turning it into a northern lights suplex for a 1..........2.........., but The Ram kicked out. Both men got to their feet and Kennedy beat Ramplin to the punch, pounding him with 3 hard right hands before sending him to the ropes for a clothesline. A huge rush of adrenaline went through Kennedy and he could feel himself regaining the title. After hoisting Ramplin up to the top rope, Kennedy climbed up along with him and brought the crowd to their feet with a superplex. Cameras flashed all over the arena as the two men crashed to the mat. They were both down and barely moving, but Kennedy managed to drape his arm over Ramplin's chest as Doan issued another long 2 count. Kennedy got up and waited for Ramplin to get up before kicking him in the gut. He then ran the ropes but as he came back, Ramplin just ran right through him with the Ram's Horns! It was all over, but Ramplin was still staggered, thus slow to make the cover. Finally, he dropped onto Kennedy but could only get a 2 count. Ramplin pulled Kennedy up and right into a short arm clothesline before signaling for the finish. Kennedy got up on one knee but Ramplin pulled him in for his powerbomb. He went for the "Dead Weight", but Kennedy countered right into an amazing DDT! The fans were on their feet as they could sense a new champion. Kennedy got up and lifted Ramplin to his shoulders as he got to his feet. But before he could execute a move, Ramplin raked his entire right hand across Kennedy's face and Kennedy then fell right into his clutches. Ramplin powered him up onto his shoulders. Kennedy tried with all his might to fight it off, but Ramplin drove him into the mat with plenty of thunder on the Dead Weight and Doan moved in to make the 1............2..........3. Match Time: 9:35 "MISERIA CANTARE" HIT AND DOAN GOT THE TITLE FROM THE TIMEKEEPER BEFORE HANDING IT BACK TO THE VICTORIOUS RAMPLIN. Lawler: "He got him! J.J. Ramplin has defeated Kennedy again, and maybe he's done it for the last time, J.R."! J.R.: "That was just an amazing match, folks! These two men went all out for that title! They are so evenly matched and they had each other scouted so well..... but on this night, ECW's J.J. Ramplin is the better man"! RAMPLIN WALKED UP THE RAMP WITH HIS BELT TO A LOT OF BOOS AS KENNEDY PULLED HIMSELF UP IN THE RING, DISAPPOINTED IN DEFEAT. Lawler: "Ramplin did exactly what Joe Corey asked for and now, ECW is starting to become that dominant group that everyone dreads"! BACKSTAGE...... IN THE BACK, CAMERAS FIND LUYU DAWNSTAR GETTING READY TO LEAVE THE STAPLES CENTER WHEN MICKIE JAMES COMES UP. Mickie James: "Luyu, Luyu, wait. Look, I'm sorry about what happened out there, I didn't want to win like that". Luyu Dawnstar: "Ya know, Mickie, I really don't want to talk about it right now, okay". LUYU WALKS OUT OF THE ARENA AS MICKIE WATCHES. Mickie: "Okay". J.R.: "Folks the next time we have a chance to be with you on pay-per-view will be for the annual Royal Rumble, which comes to you this year from Toronto, Canada"! Lawler: "And we know this year's Royal Rumble will be special, J.R., because not only will the man who wins the Royal Rumble go on to face one of the champions at WrestleMania, but so will the man who wins the King of the Ring tournament..... it's gonna be great"! "KING OF KINGS" BY MOTORHEAD STRIKES UP AND THE FANS RISE TO THEIR FEET, BOOING AND HECKLING AS MONEY MIKE COMES OUT ALONG WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON. J.R.: "And no one knows what it's like to win the King of the Ring better than this man.... Money Mike won the entire tournament last year"! Lawler: "And that propelled he and Stephanie to become the TWF's royal couple"! "I'M THE BOOGEYMAN..... AND I'M COMIN' TO GETCHA" IS HEARD AS THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND A RED SMOKE BEGINS TO FILL THE ENTRANCE. THE BOOGEYMAN CRAWLS OUT WITH HIS SMOKING WOODEN STAFF IN ONE HAND, AND A GIANT CLOCK DANGLING FROM HIS MOUTH. J.R.: "Without a doubt the wierdest superstar we have ever seen is on his way, crawling no less, to the ring". Lawler: "Look at poor Stephanie..... she's trembling"! THE CAMERA GETS A SHOT OF STEPHANIE USING MONEY MIKE AS A SHIELD AS THE BOOGEYMAN GETS CLOSER TO THE RING AND BEGINS TO GYRATE. J.R.: "Sorry, King, I just can't put the words poor and Stephanie McMahon in the same sentence". Lawler: "Well as weird as he is, J.R, we've seen The Boogeyman be a pretty tough customer here in the TWF, this won't be any walk in the park for Money Mike"! J.R.: "You got that right". Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. The Boogeyman Money Mike told referee Scott Martin "Nothing better happen to her, do you hear me"? But Martin ignored him and asked for the bell to start the match. Mike stood across from the Boogeyman, who slowly moved in on him in a stalking position. Finally, Mike was trapped in the corner and just ducked his head in between the top and middle ring rope. Boogeyman closed in on him and opened his mouth to show it was full of worms. Stephanie let out a shreak but Mike pounded him with a right hand, then two more. It was clear that they didn't effect Boogeyman at all. Mike threw another punch but Boogeyman blocked it and came back with a double thrust to the throat. Boogeyman then pulled Mike into a very stiff clothesline before going into some weird dance. Mike got to his feet but The Boogeyman picked him up and put him over his shoulder before delivering a high impact powerslam. Some fans thought it was over that quickly, but Mike was able to roll his left shoulder off the mat at the count of 2 and a half. Boogeyman pulled Mike up and lifted him in the air with two hands around his throat. Boogeyman was looking for the knockout blow, but Mike was able to somehow get free and then put Boogeyman down with a stiff DDT. Boogeyman again got up with little problem and Mike got him up for a Samoan drop. This too, had no effect. Boogeyman was almost smiling but Mike positioned himself behind him and when he turned around, Mike grabbed him and pulled him into the "Money Pit". This time, there was no getting up as Martin got down to make the 3 count. Match Time: 3:06 Lawler: "Ha ha..... look at that, J.R., Money Mike just took care of The Boogeyman"! J.R.: "He sure did, it didn't like anything could phase The Boogeyman, but that Money Pit is devastating"! STEPHANIE CAME INTO THE RING AND WRAPPED HER ARMS AROUND THE VICTORIOUS MONEY MIKE AS "KING OF KINGS" PLAYED AGAIN. Lawler: "Well I gotta tell ya, J.R., whether it be the Royal Rumble or the King of the Ring, Money Mike has to be a favorite to win either one"! J.R.: "Like him or not, it's hard to argue that"! BACKSTAGE AREA....... IN THE BACK, TODD GRISHAM IS STANDING BY WITH THE BRAND NEW RAMPAGE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, THE MAJOR BROTHERS. Todd Grisham: "Major Brothers, it has to feel good to be the new Rampage tag team champions, and you beat a great team in Eye Spy to do it". Brian Major: "I just want to say one thing to M.X. Ogden, this is what we trained to do (he holds up the belt). It wasn't to make videos or to piss off as many people as we can, it was to wrestle. Maybe if you didn't lose track of who you are and where you're from, Brett and I wouldn't have these belts right now". Brett Major: "That's right, so M.X., Shelley, go make another video and tell everyone that you're watching them, because the fans that love wrestling, all have their eyes on the Major Brothers now..... woooooo"! "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA HITS AND MARK HENRY COMES OUT TO A TON OF BOOS. HE HAS A VERY DETERMINED LOOK IN HIS EYES AS HE APPROACHES THE RING. J.R.: "It looks like it's time for the Major Brothers to go celebrate, King, but now it's time for the big one and here comes the World's Strongest Man"! Lawler: "They could wheel a rhinoceros down to the ring and he wouldn't be as imposing as this guy.... take a look at Mark Henry"! ONCE HENRY IS IN THE RING, CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO EVEN MORE HEAT AS PYRO SPRAYS BEHIND HIM WHILE HE POSES WITH THE TWF WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. J.R.: "No one will ever forget the night in Ottawa when this man essentially stole the TWF title". Lawler: "But be honest, J.R., since that night, how impressive has Chris Masters been as champion? He's been unstoppable"! J.R.: "He's competed at a very high level, there's no way you can take that from him. But he and Henry will have to be at their best tonight if they're gonna win this one". "IF YA SMELL....... WHAT THE ROCK..... IS COOKIN'" IS HEARD AND THE ROCK STORMS OUT FROM THE BACK TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST CHEERS ALL NIGHT. Lawler: "The Rock has had many cracks at the title and I have a feeling that tonight is gonna be his last"! J.R.: "The people's champ is out to a hero's welcome.... this is unbelievable"! Lawler: "Shall I throw in the fact that the Board of Directors has unfairly decided that the TWF title is on the line in this match"! AFTER A MOMENTARY PAUSE, "REAL AMERICAN" BY RICK DERRINGER COMES ON AND HULK HOGAN IS OUT TO A CRAZY CHEER, EASILY THE BIGGEST OF THE NIGHT. J.R.: "Can you imagine this man, the immortal Hulk Hogan, standing atop the wrestling world one more time"! Lawler: "I realize all these Hulkamaniacs out here love this, but I think it would be a huge tragedy! I mean, how long has it been since we've seen this guy? And he can just come in here and become TWF World champion"?! J.R.: "Well let's not forget what Chris Masters did to Hogan on the seventh anniversary special of Rampage". Lawler: "Yeah, and if he gets him in the Masterlock, he'll do it again"! J.R.: "This match is one fall to a finish.... but don't forget, folks, if The Rock or Hogan earns a decision over either Chris Masters or Mark Henry, that man becomes the champion! There goes the bell.... referee Jimmy Korderas is in charge of this one". Chris Masters and Mark Henry vs. The Rock and Hulk Hogan The crowd was buzzing as the bell sounded to start the match. Hogan really wanted to begin the contest for his team, but The Rock stepped in against Henry, and they locked up. Like two bulls, they budged each other for position, but it was Henry who was able to muscle The Rock into the corner. But he missed with an overhand swing and The Rock popped him with 3 hard right hands before going for an irish whip. Henry reversed it but missed a clothesline and The Rock came back with a flying forearm right on the forehead. Rock waited for him to get up, but Masters came into the ring with a double axe handle to the back. This drew a warning from Korderas, but after a big elbow drop, Henry officially brought Masters into the match. Masters came in looking to soften up the back of The Rock. He stayed on him with plenty of offense while The Rock was down and then put him down hard with a delayed vertical suplex. He then pulled Rock up and whipped him to the corner, but Rock sidestepped him at the last minute and he posted his right shoulder. Rock then made it over to his corner and tagged in Hogan and the roof almost blew off when he made the tag. Hogan was all over Masters with right hands before shooting him to the ropes for a big clothesline. Hogan then pulled him up and whipped him to the ropes again but this time, Masters put the brakes on as Hogan got his foot ready for the big boot. Masters made the exchange to Henry who came in and stared across the ring at the Hulkster. Hogan didn't back down an inch and they began trading punches. Finally, Hogan got the best of it before slamming into Henry with a clothesline to the corner. Hogan then motioned to the crowd for the body slam, but when he tried to get Henry up, Henry just fell right on top of him and got a very near fall. Henry pulled Hogan to his feet but Hogan blocked a right hand and came back with 3 of his own before sending Henry to the ropes. But when Hogan turned his back, The Rock slapped his shoulder to tag himself in before catching Henry with his spinebuster, showing an incredible amount of strength. The Rock was setting up for the People's Elbow, but Hogan was jawing with Korderas. That allowed Masters to lowbridge the top rope, sending The Rock sprawling to the floor. Hogan went over to the other side of the ring to help his partner and he and Masters began going at it. Slow to his feet, The Rock slid into the ring under the bottom rope but Henry was pulling something out of his boot. The Rock went to pick him up but Henry jammed the foreign object right into his face. The Rock hit the mat hard as Henry put whatever it was back and hardly anyone had even seen what happened. As Masters and Hogan continued to brawl, Henry climbed up to the second turnbuckle and flew off with a hige 747 splash, squashing The Rock. He hooked the outside leg as Korderas dropped to issue the 3 count. Match Time: 8:42 Lawler: "They've done it! Masters has retained the title..... I wonder how the Board of Directors likes that"! J.R.: "What do you mean, they weren't rooting for Hogan and The Rock, they just wanted a competitive main event"! CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC PLAYED AND HE LEFT WITH THE TITLE HELD HIGH ALONG WITH HENRY TO A SLEW OF BOOS. IN THE RING, HOGAN TRIED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED AS THE ROCK WAS STILL LYING ON THE MAT. Lawler: "Well they got one, and there is your victorious team right there! Congratulate them, J.R."! J.R.: "Even up against two of the all time greats, the Masterpiece has managed to make it out with the TWF title...... again"!
