THE LOUD NEIGH OF A HORSE IS HEARD AS THE SCENE OPENS UP INSIDE WHAT APPEARS TO BE SOME SORT OF BATTLEGROUND. SEVERAL SPECTATORS HAVE GATHERED AROUND THE CIRCLED AREA AND THERE ARE A FEW NIGHTS ON HORSEBACK, SWORDS DRAWN. THEY APPEAR READY FOR A JOUST.
SUDDENLY, THE BEATING OF A DRUM IS HEARD AND SOMEONE REPEATEDLY SHOUTS "ALL HAIL THE KING, ALL HAIL THE KING" AS THE SPECTATORS BEGIN TO RISE. BUT UP ON A STAGE, A DOOR OPENS RIGHT ABOVE A GOLDEN THRONE, AND A WOMAN BEGINS TO WALK TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE STAGE. IT IS CANDICE MICHELLE, WEARING A BEAUTIFUL RED DRESS AND A SPARKLING GOLDEN TIARA.
Candice: "And what about the queen?
THE SPECTATORS LOOK AT EACH OTHER IN SILENCE BEFORE DECIDED TO GIVE THE GORGEOUS QUEEN A ROUND OF APPLAUSE AND SHE RECEIVES IT WITH A SMILE.
Candice: "Well then...... let the games begin".
THE CROWD THROWS UP THEIR HANDS AND CHEERS AS TWO KNIGHTS SET ACROSS THE ARENA FROM EACH OTHER, THEIR HORSES SET TO CHARGE.
INSIDE THE POND, PYRO POUNDS OFF THE SET, WHICH CONTAINS THE KING OF THE RING LOGO. THE ENTRANCE IS A STAIRWAY WITH A THRONE ATOP IT. FANS EVERYWHERE ARE GOING WILD AS JIM ROSS AND JERRY LAWLER ARE SHOWN FROM THE RAMPAGE BROADCAST POSITION.
Jim Ross: "An incredible amount of noise inside The Pond of Anaheim tonight, a huge night for the TWF, King"!
Jerry Lawler: "I don't know if we've ever been part of a King of the Ring this big, J.R.! The TWF World or Universal title could go to a different division by the time this thing is over"!
J.R.: "That of course is our six man tag team main event, but we will also decide the sixth TWF King of the Ring"!
Lawler: "Who's gonna join the likes of Shane McMahon and Jordan Rockwell as King of the Ring winners"?
J.R.: "Eight men will have that oppurtunity, but let's send it over to our broadcast colleagues, from PrimeTime, Michael Cole and Jesse Ventura"!
THE PRIMETIME ANNOUNCE POSITION IS SHOWN.
Michael Cole: "Thank you, J.R., well partner, it's your last broadcast, let's make it a memorable one".
CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO SOME IMMEDIATE BOOS, FLEXING AND POSING FOR THE CROWD.
Jesse Ventura: "You know me, Michael, I'm not gonna hold anything back tonight! Now here comes a guy I could see as the King of the Ring"!
Cole: "Our first match of the night here pits Chris Masters against Eddie Saint James, two men who have been very hot lately and one of them will move one step closer to royalty"!
"NO LEAF CLOVER" BY METALLICA COMES ON AND EDDIE SAINT JAMES COMES OUT WITH MONICA. THEY TOO ARE LOUDLY BOOED.
Ventura: "And whoever wins this thing will have more of a claim to being a king than Jerry Lawler does over there. I can't believe that guy still wears that crown and that outfit"!
Lawler: "Watch it Ventura, I can actually still move around in that ring"!
Ventura: "You take your best shot, King! You let me know when you're ready"!
Cole: "Okay, let's keep the focus on the ring if we can. Eddie Saint James, who many describe as a brainwasher, has really reinvented himself here as a singles competitor".
Ventura: "And he's got the Vixen of Darkness, Monica, with him but I don't think he matches up very well with Masters".
Cole: "Vixen of Darkness? Did you just come up with that now"?
PrimeTime King of the Ring Semi-Finals Chris Masters vs. Eddie Saint James w/ Monica The bell sounded and the two men held their hands outward, feeling each other out. The Saint moved in with a kneelift, but Masters reversed an irish whip, catching him with a big scoop slam followed by an elbow drop. Masters pulled Saint James up by his hair, pushing him into the corner where he belted him with some bruising knifedge chops. After a snap mare, Masters put on a reverse chin lock and it looked like The Saint already had a busted up mouth. Saint James was able to return to a standing position, driving 2 elbows into the gut of Masters. But Masters just yanked him to the mat by his white hair. After pulling him up, Masters used a double underhook suplex, tossing Saint James across the ring. The Saint got up and positioned himself in the corner, kicking Masters in the face when he charged in. He then hit the ropes, catching him with a nice chop block. The Saint began a combination of right hands and knifedge chops, rocking Masters. He then bounced off the ropes but Masters smashed him with his version of the Polish Hammer and made the cover for the 1.........2........., but The Saint got his foot on the bottom rope at the last second to break the count. Masters stood up, clasped his hands and yelled "Masterlock". Everyone knew the vaunted submission hold was coming, so Monica got up on the apron. Masters moved towards her and seemed to like what he saw. He grabbed her by the hair and then grabbed her right leg, wrapping it around him. But Saint James came from behind with a schoolboy and stole the match! Referee Mickey Henson made the 3 count and Masters couldn't believe it. "No Leaf Clover" played again as Monica blew Masters a kiss while she and Eddie walked up the ramp. Match Time: 7:21 Ventura: "Oh come on, Masters got ripped off"! Cole: "What the hell was he thinking, partner?! For one, that's a married woman and for two, his focus should've been on the match"! Ventura: "Oh so suddenly you're a fan of The Saint?! Maybe he is a brainwasher"! Cole: "Just callin' it like I see it". ARENA PARKING GARAGE...... A BLACK LIMOSINE PULLS INTO THE ARENA AS JOE COREY STEPS INTO THE SHOT. THE VEHICLE COMES TO A STOP AND THE BACK DOOR OPENS. PAUL HEYMAN AND 911 STEP OUT. Joe Corey: "I trust that the brigade has the help needed to secure possession of the ECW title". Paul Heyman: "Joe, c'mon, you know me, when have I failed you? Tonight, we will claim possession of the ECW World heavyweight title with the help of a man who knows what it's like to have possession of it- a former ECW champion himself. Then, our plans will be in full effect. Let's go". HEYMAN, 911 AND COREY HEAD TOWARDS THE ENTRANCE AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING. "MISTERRRRRR KENNEDY" IS HEARD AND KEN KENNEDY COMES OUT TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS WHILE HIS MUSIC PLAYS. HE MOTIONS FOR LILIAN GARCIA TO GET OUT OF THE RING. KENNEDY THEN GETS IN AND RAISES HIS HAND AS A MICROPHONE LOWERS TO HIM. J.R.: "Must we do this"? Lawler: "Shhhh, J.R., I love this part". Ken Kennedy: "Tonight..... you people will witness history. Tonight, you will witness the crowning of a new king in the TWF, and not that clown sitting out there! (He points at Lawler) Lawler: "Hey"! J.R.: "Still your favorite part"? Kennedy: "Ladies and gentlemen, I weigh in tonight at an astounding two hundred and forty seven pounds. I hail from Green Bay, Wisconsin!!!!!! Please give it up for King Kennedy................. Kennedy"! KENNEDY DROPS THE MICROPHONE AS SYLVESTER TERKAY's MUSIC HITS. Lawler: "I gotta admit, King Kennedy has a nice ring to it"! J.R.: "Well first he's gotta get through this man and the way Sylvester Terkay has looked of late, I don't know if that's possible". Lawler: "Well we've made reference to his amatuer background and his mixed martial arts background, but everyone seems to be under-estimating Kennedy and I think that's the way he wants it"! J.R.: "Well you heard Kennedy tell us that he weighs in at two hundred and forty seven pounds. Terkay comes into this match at six foot six and right around that three hundred pound mark". Rampage King of the Ring Semi-Finals Ken Kennedy vs. Sylvester Terkay The bell sounded and Terkay came right at Kennedy, hands up. But Kennedy slipped underneath into a go behind but he couldn't lift Terkay over his head and caught a back elbow for his troubles. Terkay then pounded him with 3 or 4 body shots before lifting him over his head with a gorilla press slam. Kennedy got up but Terkay wasted no time getting on him before delivering a belly to belly suplex into a cover, which got him a long 2 count. Terkay then took the base of his knee and drove it into the head of Kennedy before getting into the mount position and just wailing away. Kennedy looked like he was in the octagon of the UFC and referee Jack Doan just about stopped the match, but Kennedy waved him off. Terkay moved in with a kick attempt but Kennedy saved himself by catching his leg and turning it into a leg whip. Terkay seemed to pull something and this was the opening Kennedy desperately needed. Terkay grabbed at his left knee/thigh area and that was exactly what Kennedy targeted, working on the leg with stomps and pulls before slapping the figure four leglock on in the middle of the ring. Terkay was in a lot of pain and was slapping the mat, but he wasn't tapping out. Terkay fell back onto his shoulders and Doan nearly got a 3 count out of it. But finally, Terkay was able to sit up in the hold and punch his way free. He then got up, hobbling but went back to the body shots on Kennedy, hitting him in the kidneys on each side. He then whipped him to the ropes but missed everything with a clothesline attempt and Kennedy turned it into a reverse STO/complete shot. Kennedy had Terkay in trouble, down in the middle of the ring. He eyed the corner and went to it, climbing the turnbuckle. But Kennedy lost his balance and almost fell off. As he re-positioned himself, Terkay got up and punched him right in the gut before grabbing him in an awkward position above his head and shoulders. It was the Muscle Buster, and Terkay delivered it with plenty of impact, covering him and hooking the leg for the 1........2........3. Match Time: 12:16 J.R.: "Now that is one heck of an impressive win"! Lawler: "Kennedy took all Terkay could dish out there but that Muscle Buster was too much to overcome"! J.R.: "Sylvester Terkay has advanced to the finals on the Rampage side and I don't like the prospects of whomever it is that has to face him! This guy is a major force, folks"! BACKSTAGE AREA...... MARIA IS SEEN BACKSTAGE STANDING BY WITH THE BLOOD BROTHERS WHO ARE WARMING UP FOR THEIR MATCH.
Maria: "Tonight, in arguably your biggest match to date, you two will take on the team of the Hardy Boyz. What are your thoughts"?
Dustin Kash: "Thanks Maria, but we’ll take over from here. You see, tonight we are going to walk onto the stage… plug our noses of course… get past the stench of these cheeseheads in Anaheim… and then beat the high holy hell out of the Hardy Boyz"!
Sean O’Haire: "You see, this match isn’t only for the Blood Brothers, it is for the pride of and for the bettering of the home that we call PrimeTime…
MARIA RAISES HER ARMS AT THAT COMMENT IN PRIDE WHEN SEAN O’HAIRE PHYSICALLY GRABS HER HANDS AND PULLS THEM DOWN.
Dustin Kash: "HA! What a load of crap! We are doing this for ourselves, to prove ONCE AGAIN that we are the most dominant tag team in the TWF"!
Sean O’Haire: "Damn straight"!
Dustin Kash: "Hardy Boyz… you guys are nothing more than another deposit to the blood bank"! THE BLOOD BROTHERS WALK OFF AS CAMERAS SHOW A SHOT OF THE ARENA, FROM THE OUTSIDE. J.R.: "The Pond in Anaheim, the site of the very first TWF WrestleMania is where we are and we're just getting started"! THE CROWD POPS LOUDER THAN THEY HAVE ALL NIGHT TO THIS POINT AS THE HARDY's MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT PLAYING TO THE CROWD BIG TIME. J.R.: "This will be our first of several inter-divisional matches tonight and Jesse, I guess you and I got this one, for old times sake I guess"! Ventura (sarcastically): "Ya know, J.R., my night wouldn't be complete without calling a match with you one more time"! J.R.: "Oh I feel the love. Hey, wait a minute"! JUST THEN, THE HARDY's ARE ATTACKED AND VIOLENTLY ASSAULTED BY THE BLOOD BROTHERS. AS DUSTIN KASH HAMMERS ON JEFF, O'HAIRE TAKES MATT AND SLAMS HIM SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE STEEL BARRIER AROUND THE FANS IN THE AISLE. MATT IMMEDIATELY GRABS HIS SHOULDER, SCREAMING IN PAIN AS THE BLOOD BROTHERS PULL JEFF DOWN THE RAMP AND THROW HIM INTO THE RING. J.R.: "This is a mugging! Somebody get out here and stop this"! Ventura: "The referee, a Rampage referee might I add, just called for the bell to start this match". J.R.: "That's a serious lapse in judgement by Chad Patton, who I consider one of our stronger referees! They can't have this match"! Inter-divisional match The Hardy's vs. The Blood Brothers EMT's rushed out to check on Matt while Jeff had himself in a virtual handicap situation. Dustin Kash kicked away at him in the ring before using both hands to choke him. The assault continued as the fans did all they could to rally behind Jeff. Finally, after ducking a back elbow off an irish whip, Jeff exploded off the other side with a flying forearm. But when Jeff hit the ropes again, O'Haire drove a knee into his back. Matt was up, trying to fight his way to the ring. But he was holding his shoulders and the EMT's and now the TWF trainer all pulled him back. Kash smashed Jeff with a clothesline before tagging in O'Haire. O'Haire went straight to the top rope and, looking to add insult to injury, he flew off with the Sean-Ton Bomb, a move invented by Jeff. But Jeff rolled out of the way and O'Haire landed hard on the mat. After taking Kash out with a running forearm, Jeff caught O'Haire with a reverse mule kick followed by a double legdrop to his abdomen. O'Haire was shot to the corner and Jeff followed through with the 1 man Poetry in Motion before calling for his brother's move, the Twist of Fate. But O'Haire was able to counter out of it and after shoving Jeff by the back into the ropes, he caught him with a devastating martial arts kick to the face. O'Haire made the tag to Kash before lifting Jeff to his shoulders. Kash got down on one knee and O'Haire delivered the "Widowmaker" right onto that knee. The crowd reacted, feeling the impact of the manuever as Kash covered Jeff for the 3 count. Match Time: 3:58 Ventura: "Dominating win for the Blood Brothers"! J.R.: "Dominating win?! It's two on one for God sake! I don't want to take anything away from the abilities of Kash and O'Haire, but how many times do they need to attack the Hardy's from behind! I'm sorry guys, I just can't respect that"! Ventura: "So I guess that makes it PrimeTime one, Rampage zero". Cole: "Well I hate to say it, but J.R. does have a point, partner. That was a glorified handicap match". Ventura: "Hey, what stopped the Hardy's from doing the same thing?! It's called smarts, Michael and those two guys have them". BACKSTAGE........ MARIA IS SHOWN OUTSIDE THE DRESSING ROOM OF EDDIE SAINT JAMES WHO IS STANDING BY ALONG WITH MONICA. Maria: "After defeating the Masterpiece, you are one step closer to becoming the King of the Ring. Can you....... Eddie Saint James: "I am one step closer from becoming King James! And I will be the best King James that there ever was"! Maria: "Finlay faces the Ultimo Dragon next. Who would you like to see win that match"? Saint James: "Do you think I..... (he looks at Monica) do you think we care"? "MY NAME IS FINLAY, AND I LOVE TO FIGHT" IS HEARD, LEADING INTO FINLAY's MUSIC AND HE COMES OUT TO ALL BOOS, CARRYING HIS SHILLELAGH. Cole: "Confidence is oozing out of Eddie Saint James but he still has to win two matches if he wants to win this tournament". Ventura: "But I like it. I like the attitude and I gotta say, King James on PrimeTime sounds pretty good"! THE CROWD CHEERS AS ULTIMO DRAGON's MUSIC PLAYS AND HE STEPS OUT AS FLAMES PUFF OUT ON EITHER SIDE OF THE ENTRANCE RAMP. Cole: "This man here has to be the complete underdog. Not to take anything away from Ultimo Dragon, but I don't think anybody saw him reaching this level". Ventura: "I don't think he'd even know what to do with that crown and scepter, Michael"! Cole: "You'd be hard pressed to find a matchup with a bigger contrast in styles than this one". Ventura: "No question about that. You've got the smashmouth style of Finlay against the lucha libre legend in Mexico and in Japan, Ultimo Dragon"! PrimeTime King of the Ring Semi-Finals Finlay vs. Ultimo Dragon Ultimo's plan was to remain elusive, staying away from getting in the clinches with the Irishman. For the most part of the match, that gameplan worked. Finlay was way too slow to keep up with Ultimo, who used a back footsweep to take him off his feet followed by a standing moonsault. Ultimo then came off the middle turnbuckle with a dragonrana and made the cover for a long 2 count. Finlay got to his feet, trying to locate the Dragon, who again came off the ropes with a flying attack, a crossbody. But this time, Finlay ducked and Ultimo slammed onto the mat. Finlay then used a running start and kicked him right in the ribs before getting down and driving a series of hard forearms into the back of his head. Finlay threatened to pull his mask off but instead hammered him with elbows to the top of his head. After a heavy kneelift, Finlay pulled the Dragon up and whipped him to the ropes but in one motion, Ultimo amazingly leaped onto the ropes and flew off with a reverse crossbody that got him a near fall. Finlay got up, swinging wildly but Ultimo avoided his shots and kicked him in each side before dropping him with a jumping spin kick to the face. He then went for the Asai moonsault but Finlay got his knees up to counter. From there, Finlay pulled Ultimo up and threw him shoulder first into the steel ring post before picking him up onto his shoulders for a nasty fireman's carry drop. Finlay was now in control of the match, using the base of his forearm in the face of the Dragon. But after shooting him to the corner, Ultimo used both legs to headscissor him and then throw him into the steel post! Ultimo then came up with a creative rollup into a pin for the 1.......2..........., but Finlay was up. Ultimo went to the turnbuckle again and flew off with a reverse spin kick, clipping Finlay with it. Another cover, another 2 count. Ultimo then hit the ropes but ran right into a stiff clothesline that dropped him like a ton of bricks. Finlay was done messing with him, picking him up and driving him into the mat with the "Celtic Cross" to get the 3 count and advance to the finals. Match Time: 7:08 Cole: "And with that win, Finlay is one step closer to being able to call himself King"! Ventura: "J.R. was bragging about what Sylvester Terkay did out here but let's be honest, does anybody really want to face Finlay"? FINLAY WALKED AWAY WITH HIS SHILLELAGH, BEING BOOED LOUDLY AS ULTIMO TRIED TO RECOVER IN THE RING. Cole: "Well Eddie Saint James will have to next but to answer your question, I doubt it"! BACKSTAGE........ KRISTAL IS SHOWN STANDING WITH SYLVESTER TERKAY. Kristal: "Sylvester Terkay, after that last win, Jim Ross pretty much declared you the most dangerous man in the TWF. You will either face Money Mike or Max Ogden in the Rampage finals. Does either one of them stand any kind of chance against you"? TERKAY JUST GIVES KRISTAL A LONG LOOK BEFORE WALKING OFF, LOOKING VERY DETERMINED. "LET's GO" BY TRICK DADDY HITS AND MONEY MIKE COMES OUT WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON. THE TWO ARE SHOWERED WITH BOOS. J.R.: "Terkay will be able to sit back and watch this match which is arguably the most intriguing of all the matches tonight, King". Lawler: "You've got Money Mike and his stellar won-loss record on one side against the guy who came out of nowhere to win this thing last year"! "WANNA KNOW" BY OBIE TRICE PLAYS AND MAX OGDEN COMES OUT, HAND IN HAND WITH CANDICE MICHELLE TO ONE OF THE LOUDEST CHEERS OF THE NIGHT. J.R.: "Max Ogden did exactly that one year ago, but can you imagine if he could do it again"?! Lawler: "We might have to rename this event if he does it again, but Money Mike stands in his way". J.R.: "The history between these two men is brief, but there was some tension between the two when the Horsemen had their differences with the Hart Family, two groups that are no longer around". Lawler: "It's do or die for these two guys, who's it gonna be"?! Rampage King of the Ring Semi-Finals Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Max Ogden w/ Candice Ogden and Mike met nose to nose in the center of the ring, exchanging words. The bell sounded and Mike threw a right hand, connecting. But Ogden responded with one of his own and the fight was on. Both men traded shots until Ogden blocked one and kicked Mike in the right knee before smashing his chest with 2 knifedge chops. Off an irish whip, Ogden got serious elevation for a flying elbow that caught Mike right in the face. Ogden got up, all fired up, and the crowd was with him. Ogden measured Mike, waiting for him to get up. But Mike slithered under the bottom rope, looking to regroup. The move drew some boos but as Steph came over to meet with him, Ogden vaulted himself over the top rope with a plancha, taking him out. Steph was able to get out of the way as Ogden picked Mike up and rolled him back into the ring. But Steph grabbed Ogden's foot as he tried to get back in, slowing him down. That allowed Mike to put the boots to Ogden before pulling him up and whipping him to the ropes for a big spinebuster. He made the cover, but Ogden kicked out at 2. Mike whipped him to the ropes again but he put his head down too early and Ogden used a sunset flip to get a count that was so close to 3, it was incredible. Both men got to their feet and again, exchanged shots. Mike whipped him to the corner and followed in. Ogden used the ropes to try and sling over him but he mistimed it and Mike caught him on his shoulder and delivered a nice sidewinder slam. He made the cover, hooking the outside leg but Ogden kicked out again. Mike tried to pour it on, pounding him in the corner with overhand rights and pushing referee Jose Mendez away each time he stepped in. Finally, Mendez threatened to disqualify him and Ogden got up, using both feet to kick Mike in the face. He then used the ring ropes for a springboard dropkick and Ogden had Mike in trouble. After a wicked tornado DDT, Ogden draped Mike over the middle ring rope, looking for the Deep Throat. But Mike felt it coming and got out of the way. However, Ogden still flew off, connecting with a flying clothesline. He made the cover but Mike again was up at 2. Stephanie decided to interject herself, climbing up onto the apron. But the crowd went wild when Candice came over and pulled her to the floor with a tackle. The catfight was on! In the ring, Mike missed with a clothesline and Ogden scored with a sit down facebuster, hooking the leg for the 1........2.........., oh so close again. Ogden waited for Mike to get up before landing right hand after right hand. But as he pulled his arm back, he caught Mendez in the face with an inadvertent elbow. That allowed Mike to kick him right in the groin before hitting the "Money Pit". Mendez saw the cover and issued the 3 count, giving the match to Money Mike. Match Time: 11:24 J.R.: "Can you believe that?! I'm sorry, but that's BS!! I feel Ogden had this thing won and so do these people"! Lawler: "It doesn't matter what these people think, Money Mike has advanced to the next round"! "LET's GO" PLAYED AND MONEY MIKE WALKED UP THE RAMP, LAUGHING WITH STEPHANIE AS A VERY ANGRY OGDEN LOOKED ON. J.R.: "It'll be Money Mike and Sylvester Terkay in the finals, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mike has to deal with the way he won this match somewhere down the line"! BACKSTAGE....... CAMERAS SHOW EDGE, RANDY ORTON AND MARK HENRY TALKING WHEN TED DIBIASE, TATANKA AND IRWIN R. SCHYSTER WALK UP. DIBIASE SETS A BRIEFCASE DOWN ON A NEARBY TABLE AND POPS IT OPEN. IT IS LITTERED WITH $100 BILLS. Ted Dibiase: "There is is big man..... it's all yours if you can do the job! AS ORTON AND EDGE GAWK AT THE MONEY, HENRY REACHES FOR IT. Ah, ah, ah, don't touch it just yet. You've gotta earn it first! Good luck to you guys tonight, I'm sure we'll meet up later. But right now, I have some property of mine to go and get back"! "AIN'T NO STOPPIN' ME" IS HEARD AND OUT COMES SHELTON BENJAMIN TO A HUGE CHEER. J.R.: "Here comes Shelton Benjamin with that Million Dollar title and it's sure been awhile since we've seen that thing"! Lawler: "Yeah, cause this guy never defends it"! J.R.: "Why should he, King?! Last time I checked, it wasn't a regular title here in the TWF"! "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYS AND THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN COMES OUT WITH TATANKA TO SOME OF THE HEAVIEST HEAT OF THE NIGHT. Lawler: "Well it probably seems like an eternity since it was in the possession of Dibiase so he has enlisted the services of Tatanka to go and get it back for him"! But if Dibiase wants it back, he better hope Tatanka wrestles a better match than he did at DoomsDay when the Million Dollar Corporation tried to take the World title"! Lawler: "Well don't forget that this is no disqualifications"! J.R.: "Yeah, thanks to Muhammad Hassan, what an unbiased GM he's been"! No DQs/Million Dollar Title Match Challenger: Tatanka w/ The Million Dollar Man vs. Shelton Benjamin The bell sounded and surprisingly it was Shelton Benjamin who was the first to take advantage of the special rules, raking Tatanka across the eyes before using the top rope to choke him. He then whipped him to the ropes and drove a fist into his midsection before hitting a jumping bulldog. It looked like Benjamin might win it easily as he went for the t-bone suplex but Tatanka elbowed his way out of it and wacked Shelton with a tomahawk chop over the head. Tatanka then took some of Dibiase's advice, removing one of the turnbuckle pads. But when he went to ram Shelton into it, Shelton used his foot to block it before rocking the Native American with a right hand and then a backhand chop. But off an irish whip, both men were thinking the same thing and they collided going for crossbody blocks. Dibiase went and got a steel chair, sliding it in to Tatanka. Slow to get up, Tatanka grabbed the chair and blasted Shelton acrosst he back twice. Shelton winced in pain as Tatanka topped him for the cover but he could only manage a 2 count. From there, Tatanka tried to shoot him to the corner but it was reversed and Shelton flew in with the Stinger splash, only to miss and hit the exposed turnbuckle face first. Tatanka picked him up and slammed him to the mat before going to the top rope and coming off with a flying tomahawk chop. He made the cover but again, referee Jim Korderas only got a 2 count. Tatanka was starting to wonder what it would take to keep Shelton down and he whipped him to the ropes, dropping his head a split second too soon. Shelton kicked him in the face and then threw another kick. Tatanka caught his foot and spun him around but Shelton was able to turn that into the dragon whip kick. The crowd popped as Shelton got up and grabbed Tatanka for the T-Bone suplex, but Dibiase got up on the apron. Benjamin ran over and cracked him with a right hand, knocking him to the floor. But when Shelton turned back around, I.R.S. was in the ring and he blasted him with a briefcase. Shelton slumped to the mat and Tatanka crawled over and made the cover as Korderas issued the 1............2...........3. Match Time: 9:40 AS "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYED AGAIN, I.R.S. OPENED THE BRIEFCASE AND A LARGE BRICK FELL TO THE MAT. DIBIASE BROUGHT THE MILLION DOLLAR TITLE BELT INTO THE RING AND PROUDLY HANDED IT TO TATANKA.
J.R.: "There was a damn brick in that briefcase"! Lawler: "Doesn't matter, J.R., it was no disqualifications"! J.R.: "Why don't they just bring a damn gun out and shoot the man! Boy that's wrestling at it's best right there"! Lawler: "Well, the Million Dollar title is back in the hands of it's rightful owners"! J.R.: "Yeah, good for them"! BACKSTAGE....... CAMERAS SHOW TODD GRISHAM COME UP TO ROB VAN DAM, WHO IS DOING SOME SHADOWBOXING. Todd Grisham: "RVD, up next, you take on Joe Corey for possession of the ECW World title. Last month at DoomsDay, Corey was able to beat you". RVD: "You're right, Todd, Joe Corey was able to defeat me at DoomsDay. But that was then and this is now". Grisham: "Well I'm not sure if you've heard, but it seems like Paul Heyman and his brigade have something planned. What do you think about Heyman trying to bring ECW back to the forefront". RVD: "ECW is something I'm very passionate about, Todd. And I won't deny that it and Paul Heyman had a profound effect on my career. But the ECW I knew was gone a long time ago. If Paul Heyman and his brigade want to bring ECW to me...... I'm just gonna see what they got..... and up the ante a little, if ya know what I mean". RVD WALKS OFF, HEADING TOWARDS THE RING. BACK AT RINGSIDE, CAMERAS GET A CLOSE UP SHOT OF THE OLD ECW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BELT, WHICH IS SITTING ON THE TIMEKEEPER's TABLE. "LYING FROM YOU" BY LINKIN PARK COMES ON AND JOE COREY COMES OUT, TRAILED BY PAUL HEYMAN AND THE 7 FOOT TALL 911. J.R.: "And here we go, King! I know you aren't a fan of ECW, but this one won't be for the weak stomached folks". Lawler: "I'm not, never was and never will be a fan of Extremely Crappy Wrestling, J.R. and the fact that we have a match at the TWF King of the Ring for possession of their Cracker Jack title quite frankly makes me sick"! J.R.: "Well we just saw a no disqualification match but I have a feeling the difference between a no disqualification match and an Extreme Rules match is going to be made very clear after this one". THE FANS GO WILD WHEN "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT COMES ON, FOLLOWED BY PYRO AND ROB VAN DAM STEPS OUT TO ONE OF THE NIGHT's BIGGEST REACTIONS. Lawler: "Oh I'm sure we will too, that's what ECW made their name on! Wild matches that had no rules whatsoever"! J.R.: "Wait a minute, they're not waiting to get to the ring here"! AS RVD CAME DOWN THE AISLE, 911 DROPPED HIM WITH A BIG KICK TO THE FACE AND LIKE A SHARK SMELLING BLOOD, COREY WENT OUT AFTER HIM. Extreme Rules for possession of the ECW World Title "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Paul Heyman vs. Rob Van Dam Corey was all over Van Dam, pounding him with right hands from a mounted position before just ramming the back of his head into the entrance ramp. From there, he pulled RVD up by the hair and tossed him into the ring. Corey reached under the ring and pulled out a 2x4 wrapped it barbed wire. He took it into the ring, but RVD sprung up and caught him with a jump kick to the face before landing a cartwheel moonsault. 911 got on the apron but RVD took him out with a baseball slide that knocked his feet out. Corey came from behind with a shot to the back of the head before dropping him on the back of his head with a backdrop suplex. Corey wanted another weapon, and this time, Paul Heyman had what appeared to be a roll of coins. He tossed them in to The Show who took them and smashed them in the face of Van Dam. Coins flew all over the ring and RVD was immediately cut above his right eye. Corey made the cover and got a long 2 count. He pulled him up again, looking to put him away with the "Showstopper". But RVD countered, dropping to his knees and pulling his arm up for a low blow. The fans were back into it but after RVD landed the Rolling Thunder, 911 came into the ring and ran through him with a clothesline. Heyman then yelled "Chokeslam the son of a bitch to hell"! Ready to oblige, 911 grabbed RVD and picked him up by the throat, chokeslamming him into the mat with plenty of authority. But just then, Sabu came running out and into the ring, tossing a steel chair into the face of the monster 911! Tommy Dreamer had also come out and he had Heyman by the collar of his jacket. But from behind, Corey smashed Dreamer with a steel chair when from out of the crowd came Justin Credible. Credible got into the ring and smashed Sabu with a steel chair before picking Van Dam up and delivering the move he once called "That's Incredible". Corey and the brigade had taken Van Dam's best shot, or so they thought. At that moment, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica hit and the crowd went absolutely nuts. Sandman appeared in the crowd, toting his signature Singapore cane. Corey and Credible were waving him on, daring him to come to the ring. The fans were singing along to the words of the song and after crushing an empty beer can he'd just consumed over his head, Sandman made his way to the ring. Sabu and RVD were back up and they began trading shots with Corey and Credible. 911 tried to get back into the ring, but Sandman caned him over the head. In the ring, Tommy Dreamer slid in and delivered a wicked DDT to Justin Credible. After Sandman blasted Corey with the cane, Sabu held a steel chair up and RVD kicked it right into his face for the VanDaminator! The crowd was ballistic at this point and there was only one thing left- the 5 Star Frogsplash. RVD landed it as the crowd let out a collective cheer and he covered Corey for the win. Match Time: 5:42 J.R.: "Oh what impact! RVD, with a little help from his friends, has earned possession of something I know is important to him- the ECW title"! Lawler: "Well at least it's important to someone! It took four guys to beat Joe Corey"! "ONE OF A KIND" PLAYED AND THE CROWD WAS JUMPING IN THE STANDS AS RVD CELEBREATED WITH SANDMAN, DREAMER AND SABU. J.R.: "And the brigade had three extra guys too! The guys RVD went out and recruited just did a better job! Paul Heyman wanted ECW, he got it! This is ECW! Oh what a moment"! Lawler: "I can't believe these people are cheering like this! We're on the west coast, right"?! BACKSTAGE....... CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW JORDAN ROCKWELL COME UP TO RANDY ORTON AND EDGE. Randy Orton: "Pshhh, what the hell do you want"? Jordan Rockwell: "Well, I want what you have over your shoulder there. (referring to the Universal title) But I also care quite a bit about PrimeTime. So as much as I don't like you, you better not lose that title to Rampage tonight". Edge: "Or what, Rockwell? You better just think about your match with Axl Irvin. Because as much as we don't like you, we'd hate to see you land in a bed of nails tonight, yeah right"! EDGE AND ORTON WALK AWAY, LEAVING ROCKWELL WHO JUST SHAKES HIS HEAD. "MY NAME IS FINLAY, AND I LOVE TO FIGHT" IS HEARD AGAIN AND FINLAY MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING, AGAIN WITH HIS SHILLELAGH. Cole: "It seems like we've been sittin' here awhile but it's time to heat things up again with the final match in the King of the Ring tournament on the PrimeTime side"! Ventura: "Awhile? It seems like the last match we called was yesterday! Apparently the big boys decided to give Rampage the spotlight tonight"! Cole: "Well I gotta say, great matches on the Rampage side of things tonight! "NO LEAF CLOVER" BY METALLICA COMES ON AND EDDIE SAINT JAMES COMES OUT WITH MONICA TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. And here comes The Saint with the woman you referred to as the Vixen of Darkness earlier. Does he have any chance here against the fighting Irishman"? Ventura: "Well I didn't give him any chance against Chris Masters so what would I know? I wanna know whose side the fans are on". Cole: "Judging by the reactions they got when they came out..... neither". PrimeTime King of the Ring Finals Finlay vs. Eddie Saint James w/ Monica The bell sounded and The Saint came right at Finlay, ready to fight his way into the next round. But Finlay was having no part of it, taking 3 right hands from The Saint before just drilling him with a European uppercut, and then another. Off an irish whip, Finlay drove a knee into the gut of The Saint before using the same tactics he had earlier against Ultimo Dragon, pounding him on the mat. While driving his forearm into the bridge of Saint James' nose, Finlay also had a hammerlock on. The Saint was in plenty of pain and out of desperation, he caught Finlay with a knee to the side of his head. Finlay didn't let go of the hold, but after a second knee, The Saint broke free. He then hit the ropes and caught Finlay with a clothesline that knocked him into the ropes but Finlay responded with a forearm shiver to the face. He went for an irish whip but Saint James reversed it and slapped Finlay in a sleeper hold. But Finlay quickly countered with a sitdown jawbreaker before grabbing The Saint by the hair and ramming him into one of the turnbuckle pads. After a backdrop suplex, Finlay hit the ropes and drove a knee right into the face of The Saint. As the match went on, Finlay really began to abuse Saint James. Following a sidewalk slam, he made a cover, but The Saint got his shoulder up after a 2 count. That was the third near fall for the Belfast Brawler so he picked Eddie up and dropped him with the "Celtic Cross". He made the cover but just before referee Mike Enos reached a 3 count, Saint James got his foot on the bottom rope, much like he had against Masters earlier. Frustrated, Finlay went and got his shillelagh. Enos went to grab it from him, but Finlay flung him away. Monica got on the apron though and kicked the weapon out of his hands! Finlay responded by grabbing Monica and headbutting her, knocking her to the floor! Enos immediately ran to that side of the ring to check on her. But when Finlay turned around, The Saint had the shillelagh and he smashed him right over the head with it. Finlay fell to the mat as The Saint tossed the shillelagh out of the ring and covered him, hooking the leg as Enos came back to register the 1........2.........3! Match Time: 9:35 Ventura: "No way! This can't be happening"! Cole: "Eddie Saint James has reached the King of the Ring finals! Who would've guessed that"! THE SAINT WENT AND HELPED MONICA TO HER FEET AS "NO LEAF CLOVER" PLAYED. SHE HELD HER HEAD AS SAINT JAMES HELPED HER UP THE RAMP. Ventura: "Yeah, and his wife or whatever the heck she is is directly responsible for both of his victories tonight"! Cole: "Oh, I thought you had a name for her, partner! But you're right, and she was even willing to take a headbutt from Finlay this time"! BACKSTAGE...... TRAVIS WAKEMAN AND MELINA ARE IN THE BACK TALKING WHEN TAZ COMES UP. Taz: "Hey, Wakeman. Look man, I know you like to talk and brag to everyone about that time you made me tap out at When World's Collide. But tonight, we have to be partners and you're gonna have to count on me to help you keep your title". Travis Wakeman: "That's true". Taz: "So, if you ask me, your little girlfriend there is nothing more than a liability at ringside, you might want to think about leaving her in the back". MELINA GETS A MAD LOOK ON HER FACE. Wakeman: "I'll think about it". TAZ WALKS AWAY AND MELINA LOOKS AT WAKEMAN. Melina: "You'll think about it? You're not serious, are you"? Wakeman: "Look, there's gonna be six guys out there tonight and we have to win this match. Maybe it's not such a bad idea". Melina: "You never made that bitch Trish stay in the back". Wakeman: "Fine, let's just forget about it, okay"? SYLVESTER TERKAY's MUSIC HITS, BRINGING HIM OUT FOR THE SECOND TIME TONIGHT. J.R.: "Well we now know that Eddie Saint James has reached the King of the Ring finals and now, it's time to determine his opponent"! Lawler: "Well I know you think it's gonna be this guy, J.R., and it's hard to argue with that after what he's done throughout this tournament"! J.R.: "Terkay has wins over Rex Redford, Matt Cruz and Ken Kennedy, an impressive list to say the least"! "LET's GO" BY TRICK DADDY PLAYS AND MONEY MIKE COMES OUT TO AN OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF BOOS. Lawler: "Something tells me these people don't want to see Money Mike as the king, J.R., there might be a riot here tonight"! J.R.: "Well I think we have ran out of superstars for the fans to cheer on in this year's tournament but it seems like they'll go with the lesser of two evils and this man, as well as that jezebel Stephanie McMahon, is always the greater of two evils"! Lawler: "Well you mentioned the wins that Terkay has in this tournament, J.R., so let me rattle off the names of the guys that Money Mike has beaten. Carlito, Umaga and tonight, the defending King of the Ring himself, Max Ogden"! J.R.: "Well no disrespect to any of those names you just mentioned, King, but I don't know if any of them present the challenge to Money Mike as this man, Sylvester Terkay, does"! Rampage King of the Ring Final Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Sylvester Terkay The bell sounded and the two combatants walked up to each other. Showing no respect for his opponent at all, Mike slapped Terkay across the face! But Terkay shook it off and drilled Mike with a kneelift followed by some stiff haymakers before nailing a belly to belly suplex. Terkay then slapped on a triangle submission and Mike wisely reached his right foot to the bottom rope to create a break. But Terkay was relentless, belting Mike in the back of the head with punch after punch before catching him with a knee right in the face. Terkay was beating the hell out of the former World champion. Mike did everything he could to keep him back, but Terkay kept coming like some sort of machine. After a right-left combo to the head, Terkay dropped him with a roundhouse kick and Mike fell to the mat. Terkay made the cover but Mike somehow found it in him to kick out. Terkay picked him up over his head and drove him into the corner. Then, with a full head of steam, he ran in but Mike caught him with a back elbow. Mike then exploded out with a clothesline that dropped Terkay before getting atop him and just pounding him with right hands. Mike got up and pulled Terkay to his feet before shouting some obscenities in his face. But Terkay caught Mike with a palm strike to the chest followed by an incredible STO takedown. Mike hit hard on the back of his head but again, Terkay could only get a 2 count. Back to the submissions Terkay went, getting Mike in a fujiwara armbar. Mike was about to tap out but Terkay released the hold and picked Mike up off the mat by that same arm, just dropping him. Mike looked to have a seperated shoulder but as Terkay ran in at him with a clothesline, Mike caught him under the right arm and nailed the "Money Pit". The crowd was shocked as Mike went for the cover but no, Terkay kicked out at 2! Mike couldn't believe it but after 2 more right hands had no effect, Terkay kicked him in the gut before running right through him with a spear. It looked like the beginning of the end for Money Mike as Terkay got him up for the Muscle Buster. But somehow, Mike was able to get a hold of one of the ring ropes and he slipped off Terkay's shoulders. Terkay then charged in for another spear but Mike stepped aside and Terkay put his left shoulder right into the steel ring post. Ready to capitalize, Mike got him locked in and hit a second Money Pit, hooking the near leg for the 3 count and a huge victory. Match Time: 11:58 J.R.: "I don't believe that. I don't know if I've ever seen a guy win a match after being dominated the way Money Mike just was"! Lawler: "He was all but beat, J.R.! But Terkay couldn't put him away and it was the experience and ring savvy of Money Mike that has put him in the finals"! THE FANS LOUDLY BOOED WHILE "LET's GO" PLAYED AND MIKE WALKED UP THE RAMP WITH STEPHANIE, GRABBING AT HIS SHOULDER. J.R.: "So it will be Money Mike meeting PrimeTime's Eddie Saint James in the King of the Ring finals, one of those men walks out of here as royalty"! BACKSTAGE..... MUHAMMAD HASSAN's OFFICE..... MUHAMMAD HASSAN IS SHOWN WATCHING THE NIGHT's ACTION ON A MONITOR WITH MACKENZIE ROSE AND PSYCHOSIS WHEN SHANE McMAHON COMES IN. Shane McMahon: "You guys enjoying the show"? HASSAN TURNS AROUND IN HIS CHAIR. Muhammad Hassan: "Oh, Shane McMahon, as a matter of fact we are". Shane: "What the hell is this? You got an hispanic guy that you use to clean up after you. You've got a guy that dresses up like he's ready to make a tee time, I guess because he's white. And you are making plenty of people's lives on Rampage a living hell"! Muhammad Hassan: "Much like this entire company has made mine since I came to the TWF! All because of the fact that I am Arab American". Shane: "Well I hope you haven't forgotten that my father, Vince McMahon, is still the owner of this great company and I can assure you that what you are doing, is not what he had in mind for the General Manager of one of his divisions". SHANE LEAVES THE OFFICE AND HASSAN TURNS BACK IN HIS CHAIR, LOOKING AT PSYCHOSIS. Hassan: "What are you looking at?! Get back to work"! Cole: "Well fans coming up next, we have what should be a war between Jordan Rockwell and Axl Irvin. Our ring crew is getting things set up for that and that gives us a chance to talk about the last pay-per-view event of 2006, War in the Winter". Ventura: "Although I'm not gonna be around to call it, War in the Winter has traditionally been a terrific TWF event and I'm sure this year's will be no different"! "LIT UP" BY BUCKCHERRY HITS AND AXL IRVIN WALKS VERY TENTATIVELY DOWN THE RAMP WITH TRACI BROOKS. THE MAJORITY OF THE CROWD BOOS HIM THE WHOLE WAY DOWN. Cole: "Well it looks like we're ready for the Bed of Nails match and here comes Axl Irvin"! Ventura: "After this match is over, one of these guys might not be able to make it to War in the Winter"! Cole: "Well the rules of this match are simple. CAMERAS GET A CLOSE-UP SHOT OF THE BOARD FULL OF NAILS SET UP RING OUTSIDE THE RING. The first man to put his opponent into that bed of nails wins the match! Yes, you heard that right". THE CROWD GOES ABSOLUTELY BERSERK WHEN "BACK IN BLACK" BY AC/DC PLAYS AND JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT, READY FOR WAR. Ventura: "There's a reason this match has only happened once in TWF history, Michael! It is beyond dangerous! It is beyond brutal! One or both of these men could suffer serious injury tonight"! Cole: "That is why Shane McMahon and the TWF refused to even sanction this match! The only time it ever happened was at Evil Intentions on May 26, 2001 between Harper Bane and The Angel of Death"! Ventura: "And for all you TWF historians out there, those two men were signed as two of the hottest prospects in this business! That match led to the downfall of their careers, if you ask me! Neither man was ever the same again"! Unsanctioned Bed of Nails Match Axl Irvin w/ Traci Brooks vs. Jordan Rockwell The bell rang and both men came out swinging. Axl had taped his hands for the match, which was more of a fight, and he hammered Rockwell with some stinging shots. After a swinging neckbreaker, Axl used the middle ring rope to strangle Rockwell, trying to incapacitate him early. After whipping Rockwell to the corner, Axl found himself on the receiving end of a big clothesline. Rockwell then pulled Axl up and threw him over the top rope to the floor. The board full of nails was propped up against one of the turnbuckles and Rockwell had his eyes on it. He yelled for Traci to move but just before he could get his hands on it, Axl nailed him from behind and then whipped him into the steel ring steps. Axl became the first to get his hands on the weapon, tipping it in Rockwell's direction. But Rockwell moved and the nails landed on the ring steps, causing a loud clang. Rockwell got up an smashed Axl with a right hand before grabbing a nearby electrical cord and wrapping it around the neck and throat of Axl. He then used the cord to throw Axl right into the barricade surrounding the fans. Rockwell came at him but Axl got under him and backdropped him right into the crowd. Axl followed him in as the crowd parted to two sides. The men were exchanging shots but Rockwell got in a shot to the gut before grabbing a beer from one of the fans, taking a drink and then smashing it over Axl's head. Rockwell then took Axl and tossed him bac over the barricade before going and grabbing the board. From the top of the steps, Rockwell decided to ride the board down. Luckily for Axl, he rolled out of the way. Rockwell jumped off at the last second but the board still became stuck in the mat on the floor. Axl got up and kicked Rockwell right in the abdomen before kicking him again in the groin. Traci was able to remove the board from the mat and she again propped it up in the corner. Axl tried to whip Rockwell into it, but Rockwell held his ground and pulled Axl right into a clothesline. The fight continued at a torrid pace for several more minutes, all of it outside the ring. Finally, Rockwell was able to hit Axl with a steel chair shot to the head that busted him wide open. He then laid the board down but Traci jumped up on his back, trying whatever she could to help her man. Rockwell grabbed Traci by the hair and flung her over his shoulders to the floor. She seemed to catch a nasty whiplash upon landing. Axl had managed to get himself to the apron and Rockwell came over, trying to pull him down. Axl hung onto the top rope with all he had so Rockwell climbed to the apron with him. With both men on the apron, they each let loose of the rope at the same time and were flung backwards, both landing on the nails back first! They both were able to quickly roll off but they were in an extreme amount of pain, several puncture wounds in their backs. A "Holy shit" chant emanated throughout the audience and referee Charles Robinson asked for the bell. Match Time: 21:22 Cole: "What happened, the ref's asked for the bell"?! Ventura: "I believe Axl has won it, Rockwell hit first"! Howard Finkel: "Ladies and gentlemen, referee Charles Robinson has just informed me that due to the fact that both men hit the bed of nails at the exact same time, he has no choice but to rule this match a draw"! Cole: "What?! A draw"?! THE CROWD BOOED THE DECISION, BUT EMT's RUSHED TO THE RING TO TEND TO BOTH MEN. TRACI COVERED HER MOUTH WITH HER HAND, SHOCKED AT WHAT HAD HAPPENED. Ventura: "I don't think either of these guys could continue, Michael, that was incredible"! Cole: "They will both obviously be going to the nearest medical facility.... wow"! AXL WAS HELPED UP BY THE EMT's AND TRACI AND THEY WALKED HIM TO THE BACK. MEANWHILE, A FAINT "ROCKWELL" CHANT STARTED UP AND SLOWLY, HE GOT TO HIS FEET. Cole: "Wait a minute, look at this, he's up"! ROCKWELL WAS ABLE TO WALK OFF, BLOOD DRIPPING DOWN HIS BACK FROM WHERE THE NAILS STRUCK. Ventura: "Yeah, the hero rides off into the sunset again"! Cole: "I think it might take more than a band-aid to fix that, but at least Rockwell can walk off under his own power! That might be the most incredible thing we've ever seen in the TWF"! BACKSTAGE...... TODD GRISHAM IS SET TO INTERVIEW, OF ALL PEOPLE, WILL SMITH WHO IS WITH HIS WIFE JADA PINKETT-SMITH. JUST THEN, MONEY MIKE AND STEPHANIE WALK UP. Money Mike: "Hold on a second, I'm about to go out there and become the 2006 King of the Ring, and you're interviewing this clown about his new movie. (He looks at Smith) Wait a minute, don't I know you from somewhere"? Will Smith: "Whoa, slow your roll homeboy, slow your roll". Stephanie: "Well if he was one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, you'd think he could get someone better looking than this tramp here". Jada: "Oh no she didn't". Money Mike: "I'm sorry to interrupt your little interview here on Entertainment Tonight, oh I'm sorry, the TWF King of the Ring, but I have a crown to go win". MONEY MIKE AND STEPH WALK AWAY, LEAVING THE HOLLYWOOD PAIR LOOKING ON. BACK AT RINGSIDE, BOOS FILL THE POND AS "NO LEAF CLOVER" PLAYS AND EDDIE SAINT JAMES COMES OUT WITH A VERY EXUBERANT MONICA. Cole: "I guess it's fitting that I'm gonna call this match with a guy who calls himself the King, it's the King of the Ring finals"! Lawler: "And I guess that means it's fitting that I'm gonna call this match with a queen, how ya doin', Michael"?! Cole: "Very funny, King. But what hasn't been funny has been the ascension through the King of the Ring of this man, The Saint"! "LET's GO" BY TRICK DADDY COMES ON AND MONEY MIKE COMES OUT ALONG WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON TO EVEN MORE HEAT THAN SAINT JAMES RECEIVED. Lawler: "This may very well be the most unpopular King of the Ring final of all time, listen to all these boos"! Cole: "Eddie Saint James could become an instant star here in the TWF with a win, solidifying the claim he made earlier that he'd rename himself King James"! Lawler: "Well if you ask me, the wild cards in this one are the two prospective queens standing outside the ring, Stephanie McMahon and Monica, who your partner so cleverly coined the Vixen of Darkness earlier"! 2006 King of the Ring Final/Rampage vs. PrimeTime Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Eddie Saint James w/ Monica Right as the bell sounded, an eager Saint James ran at Money Mike, hitting him with several wild shots to the head and body. Mike was completely unprepared for what The Saint came at him with and after landing a running yakuza kick, it looked like The Saint would shock the wrestling world. He grabbed Mike's left arm and wrapped it around his own throat area, pulling back in the same motion as a Crossface. Mike was in a world of trouble, but referee Chris Kay ruled it a choke and forced The Saint to break the unique hold. Off an irish whip to the corner, Saint James charged in but Mike stuck his right foot in his face before nailing him with a clothesline. Mike was able to regain his composure and then he really laid into The Saint with boots to the head and body. Mike pulled PrimeTime's finalist to his feet and pounded him with two right hands that knocked him into the corner. After landing a big knee to the head, Mike continued to pound him with shots to the head when Kay stepped in and pulled Mike away. The Saint got up with a very evil look in his eyes and came at Mike with two hands around his throat, taking him to the mat. Mike threw him off and both men got to their feet, trading shots. As she'd done in the two previous tournament matches, Monica got up on the apron, trying to get involved. But Stephanie came over and hit Monica right in the left knee with a steel chair, knocking her to the floor. The distraction did allow The Saint to get in a low blow and he rolled Mike up for the 1..........2............, but Mike kicked out! The Saint pulled Mike in for a double arm DDT and from there, he went to the top rope. Monica screamed in pain as Saint James flew off the top rope. But Mike got to his feet and caught The Saint under his right arm and lifted him up, driving him into the mat with the "Money Pit" where he hooked the leg and got the victory. Match Time: 4:22 Lawler: "He got him! Money Mike has won the King of the Ring! Oh the people are just gonna love this"! Cole: "Well it looks like there will be a coronation ceremony now, so I'll turn my mic back over to J.R."! J.R.: "I know you made the comment sarcastically there King because I think even the diehard fans of Rampage were rooting for The Saint in that one"! A FEW MEN ENTER THE RING, CARRYING A ROBE, A SCEPTER AND A BEAUTIFUL CROWN. Lawler: "Look at this, we are now in the presence of royalty, J.R.! It's the new King and Queen of the TWF"! J.R.: "This makes me sick"! STEPHANIE PUT THE ROBE ON MIKE's BACK BUT BEFORE SHE COULD PUT THE CROWN ON HIS HEAD, MAX OGDEN HIT THE RING, TACKLING THE NEW KING OF THE RING! Lawler: "What the hell is this"?! J.R.: "It's Max Ogden, and he's all over Money Mike"! MIKE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HIT HIM AND OGDEN WAS LAYING INTO HIM WITH SOME HEAVY SHOTS BEFORE GRABBING THE SCEPTER AND SMASHING HIM OVER THE HEAD WITH IT. Lawler: "He can't do this, he's not the King anymore"! J.R.: "Mike beat Ogden earlier tonight in very controversial fashion and he's letting the new King know it won't go unnoticed"! MAX OGDEN LEFT TO SOME VERY LOUD CHEERS AS STEPHANIE GOT DOWN TO CHECK ON MONEY MIKE WHO WAS OUT COLD. Lawler: "Max Ogden has ruined the coronation! If you ask me, there should be some serious repercussions for this"! J.R.: "Well we're ready for our main event and it looks like all four of us are gonna be callin' this one guys"! SEVERAL SUPERSTARS FROM BOTH DIVISIONS ARE SHOWN BACKSTAGE GETTING READY TO WATCH THE ACTION. Cole: "There you see some of the superstars ready to watch what goes down here as there is a lot riding on this match. Either Rampage or PrimeTime could walk out of here with both of the major titles here in the TWF"! Lawler: "It's unprecedented, a match like this has never happened before"! Cole: "Let's send it to the back where Maria is standing by with the best general manager in the TWF, Shane McMahon"! BACKSTAGE...... Maria: "Shane, up next is the six man tag team main event. Now, surely you have a backup plan should PrimeTime somehow lose the Universal title to Rampage". Shane: "Yes, Maria, I do have a backup plan. But because I don't trust Muhammad Hassan, I will be at ringside for this match, just to make sure everything goes down the way it's supposed to". "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA COMES ON AND MARK HENRY STEPS OUT TO A NEGATIVE REACTION BUT WITH A VERY SERIOUS LOOK IN HIS EYES. Lawler: "Well Shane McMahon better not stick his nose in this match and try and get PrimeTime our World title"! Cole: "No, King, unlike the guy you have running your show, our guy actually has some honor and class"! "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE PLAYS AND EDGE COMES OUT TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. Ventura: "And here comes a man who is a former multiple time Universal champion and can you imagine what it would mean for PrimeTime if Edge could pin Travis Wakeman in this match and take his World title"?! J.R.: "Or how much it would hurt PrimeTime if Wakeman or one of his teammates was able to pin Randy Orton and bring the Universal title to Rampage"! "BURN IN MY LIGHT" BY MERCY DRIVE PLAYS AND PYRO BEGINS TO FLOW FROM ABOVE THE SET AS RANDY ORTON COMES OUT FROM THE BACK WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST TO A SLEW OF BOOS. Ventura: "Take a look at this kid, J.R., does he look like he's worried about that happening?! I see confidence and determinination"! J.R.: "Yeah, well I see a cocky, arrogant punk kid, same thing I've always seen out of Randy Orton"! FINALLY SOME CHEERS ARE HEARD AS "BEFORE I FORGET" BY SLIPKNOT PLAYS AND TAZ COMES OUT, MARCHING RIGHT DOWN TO THE RING. Cole: "It will be interesting to see what will happen if Taz can choke Randy Orton out, with the stipulation that he can't be Universal champ as long as Orton has it"! Ventura: "In my opinion he should be removed from this match right now and it should be a handicap match"! "I WALK ALONE" BY SALIVA COMES ON, SETTING OFF A WILD CHEER AS BATISTA COMES OUT, FOLLOWED BY A HUGE EXPLOSION OF PYRO. J.R.: "Well once you leave that announce position, don't apply for general manager, Jesse"! Ventura: "Yeah, because if I did, I'd get you and Lawler with that ridiculous outfit out of the announce position as one of my first moves"! Cole: "Here comes Batista, who until a few months ago, was a PrimeTime superstar and had a heated rivalry with both Edge and Orton! You know he'd like nothing more than to take that title from Orton tonight"! AFTER A BRIEF PAUSE, "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN PLAYS AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN COMES OUT ALONGSIDE MELINA WITH THE WORLD TITLE DANGLING FROM HIS RIGHT HAND. J.R.: "One scenario we need to consider is if Wakeman or Orton gets the decision, we've never had someone hold both titles"! Lawler: "Any of these guys have a chance.... anybody in this match can leave tonight with one, or both of the titles"! Inter-divisional Six Man Tag Team Match Randy Orton, Edge and Mark Henry vs. Travis Wakeman, Batista and Taz w/ Melina The fans were on the edge of their seats as the bell sounded in anticipation of this unique matchup. Edge started the match with Taz, a man he hasn't been able to solve. Taz dropped to one knee and grabbed Edge from behind but he caught a back elbow. Edge it the ropes and ducked a clothesline before drilling Taz with the spear. But he didn't make the cover, probably because he wanted to pin Wakeman. Edge pointed at Wakeman but Taz popped right up behind him, unaffected by the spear. He then locked in the "Tazmission", looking to end the match quickly. But Orton came in to break it up. Referee Mike Chioda forced Orton back to his corner as Shane McMahon made his way down the ramp. Shane pulled up a chair next to the timekeeper, observing the action. After a big dropkick by Edge on Taz, he made the tag to the world's strongest man. Mark Henry came in, looking to slow down the pace of things, disecting the street thug from Brooklyn. Henry asked for Wakeman to get into the match and Wakeman didn't hesitate at all. Wakeman slapped the shoulder of Taz, tagging himself into the match. He hit the ring and blocked a right hand from Henry, rocking the 400 pounder back with 3 of his own before hitting the ropes for a big clothesline. It still didn't take Henry down so Wakeman bounced off the ropes again but Henry clubbed him on each side of the head before dropping a big elbow. Henry went for the cover and because of his mass, Wakeman was barely able to kick out. Henry pulled him up and whipped him to the corner, charging in with an avalanche splash. But Wakeman moved out of the way and clipped Henry's right knee with a chop block. But Orton made the tag to Henry and the crowd came to their feet. It was champion and champion, nose to nose. After a few words, Orton threw a right hand that landed, but Wakeman fired back. The two traded shots until Orton poked him in the eyes and whipped him to the ropes, catching him with a picture perfect dropkick. Orton scrambled to make the cover but Wakeman was easily up. Orton measured him and when Wakeman got up, he went for the "RKO" but Wakeman countered it and pushed Orton out of the ring, to the floor. Wakeman made the tag to Batista and Taz ran around the ring, grabbing Orton and throwing him in to the animal. Batista ran through Orton with a clothesline before picking him up for a big spinebuster. Batista then pulled Orton in, ready to deliver the "Batista Bomb", but before he could, Henry and Edge both came into the ring and nailed him from behind. Orton then recovered and caught Batista with the RKO and covered him for the 1.........2......., but Batista kicked out! Batista was able to roll to his corner and make the tag to Wakeman who began to pick Orton apart. After a side backbreaker, Wakeman got the Universal champion in the Sharpshooter. Orton had his hand up, ready to tap but Edge came in and hit the ropes, spearing Wakeman right out of the hold. But the impact of that seemed to hurt Orton as well as he grabbed both his legs before tagging Henry back in. Wakeman got up and hit the ropes but Henry caught him in a bear hug. Henry was squeezing Wakeman, sapping all the energy out of the World champ. But out of desperation, Wakeman used an ear clap and then another, causing Henry to release him. Wakeman dove to his corner and tagged in Taz who came right at Henry, ducking a clothesline and hitting him with right and left jabs before bringing the fans to their feet with a belly to belly suplex! Taz was measuring him for the Tazmission when Edge and Orton came in again, attacking him from behind. But this brought Batista and Wakeman in the ring and the brawl was on. Batista clotheslined Edge out of the ring but Orton came from behind and dumped the animal out. Orton then kicked Wakeman in the groin but when he bounced off the ropes, Melina grabbed his foot. Orton turned and took a swipe at Melina but Wakeman came and tossed Orton over the top rope, only to be nailed from behind by Henry. Henry had his sights set on the World champion and he picked him up but Taz came from behind and slapped on the Tazmission. But Henry was too big to take to the mat and he backed into the corner, squashing Taz. He then picked him up and delivered the "World's Strongest Slam", covering Taz for the 3 count. Match Time: 14:01 Lawler: "And there we have another Rampage guy pinning a PrimeTime guy"! J.R.: "But neither of the titles are changing hands.... wait a minute"! JUST THEN, MUHAMMAD HASSAN MADE HIS WAY OUT WITH MACKENZIE ROSE AND PSYCHOSIS. ROSE AND PSYCHOSIS EACH GRABBED SHANE McMAHON AND THREW HIM INTO THE RING AND MARK HENRY GRABBED HIM. Cole: "Wait a minute, what the hell are they doing with Shane"?! HENRY PUT SHANE DOWN WITH THE WORLD's STRONGEST SLAM, ROCKING THE RING. HASSAN THEN GOT DOWN IN SHANE's FACE, BERATING HIM. Ventura: "Wait a minute, this is my last night with this company and this son of a bitch has been a thorn in my side for too long"! JUST THEN, VENTURA DROPPED HIS HEADSET AND HIT THE RING, ATTACKING HASSAN. ROSE AND PSYCHOSIS TRIED TO GET INVOLVED BUT VENTURA FOUGHT THEM OFF BEFORE CLOBBERING HASSAN WITH A CLOTHESLINE THAT TOOK HIM OUT OF THE RING AS THE CROWD WENT NUTS. VENTURA THEN GOT DOWN TO CHECK ON SHANE AS HENRY, EDGE AND ORTON RETREATED. J.R.: "Fans this has been one hell of a wild night! You still want to try The Body tonight, King"?! Lawler: "Well after what Hassan just did to Shane, he deserved that and I liked seeing it"! J.R.: "We hope you've enjoyed the 2006 King of the Ring! Good night everybody"!
