Alltel Arena

Jacksonville, Florida

January 7, 2005

The shot opens live in the Alltell arena in Jacksonville, Florida to a packed house. The camera panned around before going to the announcers.

Joey Styles: Hello everyone and welcome to Revenge live from the Alltell arena in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm Joey Styles alongside Joel Gertner and what a show we have from top to bottom tonight!

Joel Gertner: Yeah and it will all come to a head in our double main event, when Chris Benoit defends the undisputed title against the newest member of SlaughterHouse, Val Venis!

Styles: And then it will be chapter three in the biggest rivalry in SlaughterHouse when JD Blaze and Marcus Hansen will continue their storied rivalry in the most violent match in wrestling, hell in a cell!

Jamie Noble's music hits and he makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos.

A few mintues later, Outcast's music hits as he comes down to a fair reaction.

Then japanese music plays, bringing Masahiro Sasaki out carrying the X-division title to a good pop.

X-division title/ three way dance

Masahiro Sasaki (c) vs Jamie Noble vs Outcast

All three men went at it with Sasaki nailing rapid kicks to Noble's legs and the last to his mid section, sending him to the floor. Sasaki went for a kick to Outcast but he blocked it and tossed Sasaki to the floor. Outcast then climbed to the top and flew off onto both men with a high cross body. As the crowd cheered, Outcast tried to clothesline Boble but Nobe used a drop toe hold into the steps and then tossed Sasaki into the ring and tried for the "Trailer hitch" but Sasaki blocked it and got up. He went for a kick but Noble ducked using a school boy and his feet on the ropes to eliminate Sasaki from the match and he then went out and tossed Outcast in.

Styles: Oh come on!

Gertner: Remember, it ain't cheatin if you don't get caught!

Noble went for the pin but only got a two count as he got visually upset. He lifted him up and tried to whip him across the ring but Outcast reversed it and got hit up into a death valley driver position then dropped him into a michinoku driver and scored the win.

Outcast's music hit as the referee gave him the title and the fans cheered.

Styles: We have a new X-division champion in Outcast who I think was the underdog coming into this!

Gertner: Oh yeah and what a move that was that he pulled of to get the win!

Backstage...........

All the members of Triple X are shown backstage talking when Trinity approaches.

Elix Skipper: Hey girl, what's up?

Trinity: (pointing to Devon Cage) I wanted to talk to him a minute.

Skipper: Ohhh, well we'll see you back at the dressing room.

Skipper and the others leave........

Trinity: Listen I just wanted to say thanks for what you did on the show.

Devon Cage: Listen, no disrespect intended but Kash was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, now if you'll excuse me, I got to get ready for my match.

Cage starts to walk away then stops.

Cage: You're welcome.

Back at ringside............

Styles: Up next is our tag team battle royal and we need to explain the rules so they are understood.

Gertner: Basically if one member of a team is eliminated, the whole team is gone and this continues till one team remains.

As Blood n Guts' theme plays they along with Youthanazia and Imminent danger are already in the ring.

AMW's music plays as they come out to a good reaction from the fans.

Then the Hardy Boyz' music hit and they came out to a big pop.

Lastly, the Dangerous Alliance's music played as Michael Shane and Frankie Kazarian made their way out with Bret Savage.

Tag team battle royal

AMW vs Blood n Guts vs The Dangerous Alliance vs The Hardy Boyz vs Youthanazia vs Imminent Danger

All twelve men paired off as the match started. Youthanazia was eliminated first and were followed by Blood n Guts and AMW at the same time. Imminent Danger was then put out and it came down to the Hardy's and the Dangerous Alliance. As Shane whipped Jeff into the ropes, savage pulled the rope down causing the elimination to score the Dangerous Alliance the win.

Styles: What a cheap win for Michael Shane and Frankie Kazarian!

Gertner: Once again, it ain't cheating if you don't get caught!

Styles: Thank you Jesse the body! Let's go back to Goldy!

Backstage Goldylocks is standing by with the Hot Bodies as the fans cheer.

Goldylocks: Thanks Joey, guys tonight you have a rematch for the Tag Team titles against The Family, but, I wanted to get your comments on the fact that they basically out cheated you for those titles and that you guys, in their words have gone.........

Tyler Lane: Gone what? Say it Goldy!

Goldylocks: Well they said you guys have gone soft.

Lane gets pissed and walks off.

Christian Cole: Soft? They think we went soft, we'll see!

Ringside.........

Trinity made her way to the ring as her music played, title in hand.

After a few minutes, the remix of "Not that innocent" by Eve hit and Britney Haven made her way out to a big pop.

Women's title match

Trinity (c) vs Britney Haven

These two were evenly matched for most of the contest. At one point, Haven managed to land the facelift, but when she went for the pin, Jazz, Syd Colt and mystique came out and broke it up and went after Haven and Trinity until Lita came out and evened the odds up.

Styles and Gertner argued over the involvement of the women with both taking the opposite view point then Styles tossed it to Goldylocks.

Backstage, Goldylocks interviewed JD Blaze along with Paul Heyman and Blaze said he was going to put an end to his redneck problem once and for all when he beat Marcus Hansen one more time. Then he would get his title back and Holdy sent it over to the other side of the arena and Josh Matthews.

On the other side of the arena, Josh talked to Marcus Hansen who said that Blaze was wrong on two accounts, one that he was the one that would put an end to things when he puts Blaze through hell and the other about him going for the title again cause if anyone was going for the undisputed title, it would be him.

Back at ringside, the theme from the Godfather played and Tony Monzeralli made his way to the ring with Mr. Grimes walking behind him.

"Glory Bound" by G-unit played and Jason Glory came out wearing the North American championship to a good reaction.

North American title match

Jason Glory (c) vs Tony Monzeralli w/ Mr. Grimes

This match went back and fourth all night till at one point, Glory lifted Monzeralli up but his feet nailed the ref in the head which gave Grimes the chance to come in and nail Glory with a shot to the head from the title which dropped him, allowing Monzeralli to fall atop him as Grimes got out and the ref came to and made the three count.

Styles and Gertner argued again about Monzeralli cheating as the ref awarded him the match and the title.

Backstage Christopher Steele interviewed the members of Triple X and Cage said that tonight in mere moments their opponents were going to get a Triple X rated beating, just like he gave to David Flair.

Back at ringside, Mexican music hits as the members of Mexico's most wanted along with La Parka and Psychosis came out to some heat.

"Survival of the Sickest" by Saliva hit and Triple X came out to a nice pop from the fans.

8 man tag team match

Triple X vs Mexico's Most Wanted/ La Parka & Psychosis

This match was wild from the start with all eight men tearing into each other but in the end, Low-Ki hit the "Ki crusher" on Juventud Guerrera and tagged in Cage who climbed to the top rope and landed a corkscrew moonsault he used to call 2xtreme for the pin.

The crowd came to their feet when Cage landed the move as Joey Styles bellowed out his famous "oh my god" catch phrase as the shot shifted backstage showing both The Family and Hot Bodies on their way to the ring.

The theme from the Godfather played as Ian Marzulli and Vinnie Terranova came out with the tag team championships.

Before their music played, the Hot Bodies hit the ring and went after The Family.

Tag team championship/rematch

The Family(c) vs The Hot Bodies

These four men went at it from the start, holding nothing back at all. As Lane and Terranova fought on the outside, in the ring, Cole and Marzulli went at it. Marzulli jabbed him in the eye and irish whipped him but Cole reversed right into the Ice breaker and went for the pinfall but out of nowhere, Tony Monzeralli came out and broke up the pin causing the disqualification.

Styles and Gertner argued once again over whether or not The Family was afraid to face the Hot Bodies in a fair fight or anyone for that matter then they both got serious cause it was now time for part one of the double main event and they talked about how it would be Chris Benoit in both his biggest match since joining SlaughterHouse and his first defense of the undisputed title against Val Venis.

"Hello Ladies" was heard as Val Venis came to the ring wearing his traditional towel to a fair ovation.

Gertner pointed out that Venis is a former champion on several levels in the TWF and would be Benoit's toughest test to date in SlaughterHouse.

"Whatever" by Our Lady Peace hits as Chris Benoit comes out wearing the undisputed title around his waist to a big pop.

Undisputed title match

Chris Benoit (c) vs Val Venis

Much as expected, Venis proved to be a tough opponent for the champion, taking it to him working on his legs with various moves and a couple submission moves. Venis tried for his reverse figure four but Benoit pushed him off which then made Venis easy pickens for the wolverine who pounced on him with a vengance tossing him into the corner for a series of chops which then lead to a superplex off the top which hurt Benoit also. He attempted the pin but only got a two count which seemed to upset him more so he picked Venis up and slingshotted him onto the top rope and went to the top and dropped off with a modified head butt which once again only managed to get Benoit a two count. This time, Benoit stalked Venis and went for a clothesline but Venis side stepped and grabbed Benoit and dropped him with a full nelson slam which he tried to use to set up the "Money Shot" but as he leapt off the top, Benoit rolled out of the way and all Venis hit was the mat. This gave Benoit the opening he waited for and he pounced on Venis again, this time locking on the Crossface to which Venis tapped out to.

"Whatever" hit again as the ref handed Benoit back his title and the crowd cheered.

as the shot went back to the broadcast position at ringside, Joey Styles and Joel Gertner pointed out that there was no more joking around or anything of that nature cause it was time for the greatest rivaly in SlaughterHouse to continue when Marcus Hansen and JD Blaze do battle inside the most dangerous match ever when they step inside the ominous hell in a cell. Then Gertner pointed out that this was about the top two men in slaughterhouse and neither man wanting to finish second to the other and their quests to be the undisputed champion, Styles then tossed it to the video chronicle of the storied rivalry.

"The End is Near" was heard as music began to play and the package began with the career of JD Blaze winding up with him becoming undisputed champion then began the journey of Marcus Hansen from the first King of the Hill up until he defeated Blaze at Overload to become undisputed champion. Then the seperate paths both men took leading into Blaze winning the second King of the Hill and finally Blaze turning on everyone and cheating to beat Hansen for the title at Jammed. The screen then split as Blaze is shown on the left side and Hansen on the right with the cell in between as the voiceover is heard.

Voiceover: Tonight, two men that have traveled seperate paths end up in the same location, the most dangerous match in wrestling history, hell in a cell! Tonight, these two men will go through hell for one purpose..... revenge!!!!!

"The End is Near" is heard again followed by the slamming of a cage door.

As the shot goes live, "Fire it up" by Snoop Dogg hits as JD Blaze makes his way to the ring accompanied by Paul Heyman to major heat. Blaze stops in the middle of the aisle and raises one arm in the air as his flaming pyro goes off behind him.

Styles points out that there is no turning back for either man as he and Gertner watch along with the entire audience as the cell lowers.

"Voodoo Child" by Jimi Hendrix hits as the fans give the loudest pop of the night to Marcus Hansen who steps out and he makes his way down the aisle, he then stops to examine the cell before entering.

Hell in a cell

JD Blaze vs Marcus Hansen

Both men met in the center looking around them at the cell then at each other as they quickly began trading profanity-filled insults at each other before trading shots up until Blaze jabbed Hansen in the eye and tried for a clothesline. But Hansen ducked and went for the superkick to which Blaze grabbed the rope and dropped to the outside. Hansen went after him and clubbed him with a forearm shot to the back but when he went to toss Blaze into the steps he got reversed into and over them himself which gave Blaze the chance to pick the steps up and drive them into Hansen's back as he tried to get up. He then placed the steps near Hansen's ribs and dropkicked them right into the rib cage. He then tried to use them again but when he swung, Hansen drop toeholded him head first into them. Hansen pulled himself up while pulling Blaze up and lifted him off the ground and slammed him into the cell door with such velocity that they flew right through it to the arena floor.

At this point, several of the wrestlers including Chris Benoit came out and stood in the aisle near the entrance watching.

Pulling himself up, Hansen got distracted by Paul Heyman long enough for a bloodied Blaze to slam the cell door into his face, allowing Blaze to actually climb the cell to the top as Hansen, who was busted open from the door shot, got up. Seeing Blaze he climbed up the cell himself. Blaze pounced on Hansen as soon as he got up and he picked him up and tried to throw him off the cell but Hansen pulled him into a boot and then nailed a sitout powerbomb that sent them both through the top of the cage! As Blaze hit the mat, Hansen managed to grab hold of the broken cage but looked to have cut his hand on it so he fell to the mat also but he fell close to Blaze where his arm landed on him and the referee actually made the three count and awarded Hansen the match.

Officaials and EMT's came into the ring as the cell came up to check on both men. While Hansen struggled to his feet bleeding from his head and right hand, he pushed away several people trying to help him. As he clutched at his ribs, he pointed up at Benoit and motioned to his waist before falling back to the mat.

As officials and medics attended to both men, Styles and Gertner pointed out that it was one of the most brutal matches they had seen and said goodnight.

Officials tended to both men as the pay-per-view came to a close.
