Greensboro Coliseum

Greensboro, North Carolina

October 22, 2004

The shot opens live to the jammed Greensboro coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina as it then goes to the broadcast position.

Joey Styles: Hello everyone and welcome to Last Rights, live from the Greensboro coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina! I'm Joey Styles alongside Joel Gertner and what a pay per view we have tonight!

Joel Gertner: That's right, we're going to have four traditional survivor matches here tonight to start off with!

Styles: And we're saying four because what was supposed to be a six man tag team match will now be a rematch from this past week when Devon Cage now faces Super Crazy filling in due to travel problems for Juventued Guerrera!

Gertner: And as of this past week, it will be a must win for Marcus Hansen as he faces Lance Cade and Frankie Kazarian in an elimination match!

Styles: Then in our main event, JD Blaze will defend the undisputed title against the one and only Chris Benoit!

    ringside........

Mystique's music hit's as she comes out with her teammates Syd Colt, Nala and lastly, Danger.

Styles: Here comes Mystique and her team but you gotta wonder who will be the fourth member of team Trinity.

  Gertner: Patience Joey!

Trinity's music hits and she comes out carrying the women's title with Ivory and Riot but no fourth member.

Styles: Looks like it's going to be a handicapped match.

Gertner: Not good for Trinity and her team.

All of a sudden a remix of "Not that innocent" by Eve hits as a new look Britney Haven makes her way out to a huge pop.

    Team Trinity vs. Team Mystique

This began with Nala and Ivory with the veteran Ivory using her experience to her advantage. But after a ddt, Nala landed a superfly type splash to eliminate Ivory. Then in came Riot who wasted no time and put a hurting on Nala and after a stalling suplex, she hit the "Riot bomb" to take out Nala. Danger came in and nailed Riot from behind and the two quickly spilled to the floor. They went till the ten count and both got counted out of the ring which brought in Trinity and Syd Colt who used her size against the women's champion, tossing her around the ring but she tried to go for a military press which gave Trinity the chance to shake free and drop onto her shoulders and perform a victory roll for the pinfall. Mystique quickly came in and clotheslined Trinity from behind and lifted her in position for the "Fallen myst" but got back dropped instead which gave Trinity the chance to tag in Haven. She took it to her long time rival with forearms and even an armbar twist into a clothesline. She then got into the corner and began stalking Mystique and as soon as she got up, Haven blasted her with the spear for the cover and win.

"Not that innocent" hit again as the ref raised Trinity and Haven's hands in victory.

Styles: Britney Haven is back! And man what a spear!

Gertner: She does that like her brother does!

  Styles: Speaking of which.....

The camera pans to the front row ringside where several TWF members like Jordan Rockwell, Eddie Guerrero, Dylan Jansens along with Dean Malenko and Carney are shown. As Haven leaves with Trinity, she stops to get a hug from her brother.

Backstage Goldylocks is shown and fans begin cheering as a sweaty Marcus Hansen is shown hitting a punching bag.

    Goldylocks: Excuse me Marcus......

Hansen doesn't stop hitting the bag........

  Hansen: What's up Goldy?

Goldylocks: I wanted to get your comments on tonight's match; because a lot of people are wondering exactly where your head is at..........

  Hansen stops and turns around........

Hansen: Where my head is? Why Goldy, my head is exactly where it should be.

Hansen turns the bag around to the side he was hitting to reveal a punched in picture of JD Blaze..........

You see Blaze, make no mistake about it, at every moment of every day, all I think about is you, and tonight when I beat the living crap out of Cade and Kazarian, all I will think about is you and then when I take Michael Shane and beat him half to death, I will be thinking of only you.

The fans can be heard cheering as Hansen brushes his hair out of his face.

Hansen: Cause when I'm done going through them and make no mistake about it I will go through them, whether you're champ or not, I swear to god Blaze, you are a dead man.

Hansen walks right up into the camera with a look of rage on his face before walking off.....

  ringside........

Styles: My god did you see the look on his face?

Gertner: It shows you right there how deep this feud is Joey, if he doesn't care if JD blaze is champion or not.

Mexican music plays as Super Crazy comes out to a chorus of boos.

Styles: Here comes Super Crazy to go one on one with Devon Cage due to the fact that Juvi went to a Triple A show with Victor and could not make it back in time.

"Survival of the Sickest" by Saliva hits and Devon Cage makes his way out to the ring to a big pop.

    Devon Cage vs. Super Crazy

These two went at it from the bell and Cage surprised everyone by taking it to the mat and working on Crazy's leg with submission moves along with knee drops and elbow drops. At one point he actually hit the ropes and as he came off, did a Ric Flair strut before nailing a leg drop onto Crazy's leg. He had everything in control till Crazy jabbed him in the eye and hit a forearm to the back of the head and got him in position for his triple jump moonsault. Crazy went for the first but Cage moved and he came down onto his sore knee which Cage dropkicked and to the surprise of everyone Cage then actually applied the figure four leg lock for a submission win.

Styles: He just beat Super Crazy with Ric Flair's own figure four leglock in North Carolina!

Gertner: Yeah, what a suck up!

Cage did another Flair strut up the aisle as the shot shifted backstage where Elix Skipper and Christopher Daniels were shown waiting.

    Chris Daniels: You're kidding?

Elix Skipper: Nope, I was there and saw the whole thing.

Cage makes his way to the back and shakes hands with both men.

Skipper: Yo man, you good now?

Cage just smiles then walks off not saying a word.

Skipper: Uh god, here we go.

  ringside.............

A.J. Styles' music hits and he makes his way to the ring with his team of Kid Kash, Elijah Stone and Danny Stiles and a seemingly reluctant Jamie Noble.

Styles: Here comes Team Styles to the ring.

Gertner: I talked to Noble earlier Joey and he is not happy about being part of this team at all!

Jerry Lynn's music hits and he comes out with Jason Cross, Johnny Jeter, Outcast and the new X-division champion Masahiro Sasaki.

    Team Lynn vs. Team Styles

This one took off from the start with Outcast quickly taking Danny Stiles out with a northern lights driver which led to Kid Kash sending Johnny Jeter to the back after he hit the "Money Clip" but he fell victim to Jason Cross and his "Crossfire". Then Elijah Stone nailed Cross from behind and landed a reverse ddt to pin him. Sasaki went on to pin Stone which led to a skirmish between Styles and Noble which got Styles pinned and Noble got himself counted out for a Team Lynn victory.

Backstage Jesse Steele told the Dangerous Alliance that all but Paul Heyman would be banned from ringside for the main event which they protested because Marcus Hansen was still in the building.

"Iron Man" by Black Sabbath hits as Dangerous Alliance members Lance Cade and Frankie Kazarian were led out by Bret Savage.

Styles and Gertner point out that Hansen must beat both men to win the match as "Voodoo Child" by Jimmy Hendrix hits and Marcus Hansen comes out to the loudest ovation of the night.

    Handicapped/elimination match

Marcus Hansen vs. Lance Cade & Frankie Kazarian w/ Bret Savage

The members of the Dangerous Alliance tried their best to use the three on one advantage they had but it failed to work as a miscue by them led to a super kick to Cade to eliminate him. Hansen wasted no time and took it to Kazarian in a major way, throwing punches and kicks. After going after Savage and taking him out of the picture, Hansen waited for Kazarian to get up then superkicked him for the win.

The fans cheered as Hansen pointed at the camera with two fingers pointing down calling JD Blaze's name out.

Styles pointed out that in the next match, if one member of a team was pinned then the whole team was out as Team Hot Bodies faced Team Henchmen.

"Demon Alcohol" by Ozzy Osborne hit as Hell's Henchmen and The Family made their way out to some heat.

Then "Sharp dressed man" by AC/DC hits and the Hot Bodies, America's Most Wanted and Jason Glory came out to a big pop.

Team Hot Bodies vs. Team Henchmen

This was a hard hitter as AMW got taken out of it after Marzulli used a foot on the rope for leverage on a school boy that led to Christian Cole coming in and landing the "Ice Breaker" on Marzulli to eliminate he and Terranova from the match up, which led to the  match going odd. When the Henchmen went for a double team on Cole, he moved and nailed Grim instead which ticked him off and he booted Soul in the face, knocking him down and he just left as Cole made the pin on Soul taking the Henchmen out of the match. Glory tagged in as Monzeralli was the only one left. As they went at it, Mr. Grimes got up on the apron and Glory clocked him with a punch. He then got Monzeralli set up for "Glory Bound" but Grimes jumped in after Glory and got Monzeralli disqualified.

As Josh Matthews came out, he interviewed Jordan Rockwell who was at ringside with Eddie Guerrero and the others. Rockwell said they were there to support their friend Chris Benoit in the title match.

"Fire it up" by Snoop Dogg hit as JD Blaze came out with the undisputed title around his waist with Paul Heyman leading the way to major heat.

"Whatever" by Our Lady Peace hit as Chris Benoit came out to a big pop and he stopped to shake hands with his friends at ringside.

    Undisputed title match

(c) JD blaze w/ Paul Heyman vs. Chris Benoit

This was the best match of the night with Blaze actually wrestling with Benoit for a while till Benoit took over using his famous triple german suplexes which lead him to the flying head butt off the top rope but he only got a two count. Heyman distracted Benoit long enough for Blaze to nail a lowblow which led him to signal for the "Heatwave" but the fans began cheering as Marcus Hansen showed up on the stage which distracted Blaze. Officals came out to prevent him from getting involved but as Blaze turned around, he walked right into the Crippler Crossface and after a few tugs, he had no choice but to tap oyt.

Rockwell, Guerrero, Jansens, Malenko and Carney jumped the rail and got into the ring as "Whatever" hit and the ref handed Benoit the title. He was lifted up onto Rockwell and Jansens shoulders as he held the title up. The pay per view came to an end with Benoit being held atop the shoulders holding the title up in the air................
