THE UPRISING LOGO IS SHOWN ON THE SCREEN AND IT's THEME SONG IS HEARD IN THE BACKGROUND AS A HOARD OF FANS IS SHOWN GETTING READY TO ENTER THE KEMPER ARENA AS TODD GRISHAM IS SHOWN ON A STAGE WEARING THE OFFICIAL EVIL INTENTIONS T-SHIRT. Todd Grisham: "We are just moments away from Evil Intentions and you can see that it's hot in Kansas City tonight and I'm not just referring to the weather! Nine huge matches exclusive to the Rampage division tonight folks and of course the big one, Travis Wakeman defending the title against the Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle! FANS BOO AT THE SOUND OF ANGLE's NAME. Doesn't sound like Angle's too popular here. But in addition to that, one of the huge matches you will see tonight will feature two of the top superstars this business has ever seen go one on one, Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam". VIDEO PACKAGE: ROB VAN DAM VS. SHAWN MICHAELS Footage is shown of some of the things Shawn Michaels told John Cena in hopes of getting him to turn his back on the fans. When that didn't work, Michaels shifted his focus to RVD, who still gets the cult-like ECW following. After weeks of words from Michaels, Van Dam made his decision on an edition of Rampage when Michaels and Cena were both down in the ring and Michaels decided to hit the 5 Star Frogsplash on Michaels! Now, Michaels says he will show RVD that the fans will take him nowhere and RVD claims that tonight, Michaels will learn the true meaning of extreme. Grisham: "Wow, now as far as I'm concerned, that one is worth the price of admission alone! But let's move on. Another blockbuster match that you will see tonight features the incomparable John Cena taking on Money Mike. Now, Money Mike does hold a one on one victory over Cena but a report I got not too long ago said that no one, not even the Horsemen, has seen or talked to Money Mike all day. (Grisham points to the line of fans) Yeah, I think your sign might be accurate kid. THE CAMERA MOVES OVER TO SHOW A FAN HOLDING UP A SIGN THAT STATES "MONEY MIKE FEARS THE STARMAN". Also scheduled tonight is a battle of teacher versus student if you will when Max Ogden faces Joe Corey. Now, Corey lays claim to Ogden even being in the TWF but Ogden isn't giving him credit for anything he's acheived so far and you know a win over The Show would go a long way in proving that. Plenty to get to yet so don't go away and up next, we've got tag team action on Uprising"! COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR GEICO AUTO INSURANCE IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FINAL PROMO FOR EVIL INTENTIONS FEATURING TRAVIS WAKEMAN VS. KURT ANGLE. RETURN FROM BREAK...... UPRISING RETURNS WITH TODD GRISHAM STANDING WITH A FAN THAT HAS ON A KURT ANGLE T-SHIRT. Grisham: "Back here on Uprising and as you all know by now, Kurt Angle will challenge Travis Wakeman for the TWF title tonight in Kansas City and I am here now with Jeffrey who has a prediction for tonight's main event". Jeffrey: "Oh come on Todd, Wakeman is only half the technical wrestler that Angle is and I can't wait to see him put in the ankle lock and tapping out tonight so we can see that belt go where it belongs.... around Angle's waist..... woooo"! Grisham: "That's a bold prediction folks, what do you think will happen, take a look". VIDEO PACKAGE: KURT ANGLE VS. TRAVIS WAKEMAN The footage starts by showing Kurt Angle picking up a win over Travis Wakeman several months ago on Rampage after some help from Shawn Michaels. From there, Angle is shown making the challenge to Wakeman for a shot at the title and Wakeman accepts- in a very physical manner. With Angle looking on, Wakeman then defeated Matt Hardy with a "Royal Flush" on the floor. Vince McMahon then made an appearance and immediately antagonized Wakeman. Wakeman retaliated with a right hand before spitting in the CEO's face later that night after Vince claimed he hopes Angle "kicks his ass" at Evil Intentions. At the On the Main Event, Vince came out to thank the fans for tuning in when Wakeman came to the ring, telling Vince to stay out of his business. But Wakeman walked into a trap as he was attacked from behind by Kurt Angle who slapped on the ankle lock and Wakeman desperately tapped out as the shot fades to black. Grisham: "So far, you have to say advantage Angle and I know a lot of people have probably wanted to do it, but what are you thinking spitting in the boss' face Wakeman? Anyway, we are just moments away from Evil Intentions so if you have yet to order the event, make sure you do so now, you do not want to miss out on this! Meanwhile, J.R. and the King are at ringside so let's send it inside and I'll continue to talk with these great TWF fans"! THE SHOT GOES INSIDE THE KEMPER ARENA WHERE MARK JINDRAK AND VISCERA ARE SHOWN ENTERING THE RING BEFORE IT SWITCHES TO THE BROADCAST TABLE WHERE JIM ROSS AND JERRY LAWLER ARE POSITIONED. Jim Ross: "Thank you Todd and to follow up on what you just said, you're damn right a lot of people have thought about spitting in Vince's face, myself be one of them"! Jerry Lawler: "Yeah J.R. but you don't want to feel the wrath of the chairman of the TWF the way Wakeman soon will"! THE SPIRIT SQUAD's MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT TO SOME SERIOUS BOOS. J.R.: "I just hope to see a classic between Wakeman and Angle tonight and I think we will but right now, here comes these annoying cheerleaders"! Lawler: "Call them waht you will J.R., but these four guys are as good of athletes as we've ever seen around here"! J.R.: "I'll give you that, they are athletic but they've got blow horns and everything! All they need is the pom poms"! Lawler: "Alrightm and we're gonna get a cheer"! THE SPIRIT SQUAD LINES UP IN THE CENTER OF THE RING. Mitch: "Ready..... okay! If....... JUST THEN, VISCERA AND JINDRAK ATTACK THE 4 MEN FROM BEHIND, FORCING THE MATCH TO START. Mark Jindrak and Viscera vs. The Spirit Squad: Kenny and Nicky w/ Mikey and Mitch Jindrak and Viscera were taking on all 4 men and doing it well for the first few minutes of the match. Nicky was whipped to the corner and Jindrak then whipped his own partner, the 487 pound Viscera into Nicky, collapsing into him in the corner. Viscera then went over to Kenny but as Mitch distracted referee Jose Mendez, Mikey used a trampoline to fly in with a devastating bulldog from the floor. Mitch then hit Viscera in the head with his megaphone/sounding device and Kenny came off the top rope with an impactful legdrop across the throat of Jindrak, hooking the leg for the 1......2........3. Match Time: 7:42 J.R.: "Well I'll be damned, these four cheerleaders, like a pack of wild dogs, have...... Lawler: "Oh just say it J.R., that was great teamwork"! THE SPIRIT SQUAD LEFT TO A LOT OF HEAT, CELEBRATING IN THE AISLE AS VISCERA AND JINDRAK WERE SLOW TO RECOVER IN THE RING. J.R.: "That I won't say and if it's any indication of how this night is going to go, we are in for a wild ride King. We will now be switching over to the pay-per-view channel! Enjoy Evil Intentions everybody"!
AFTER A BRIEF SHOWING OF A BLACK SCREEN, THE COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER IS SHOWN INSIDE THE GENERAL LEGAL WARNING. THE NEW TWF ENTERTAINMENT LOGO THEN FLASHES ACROSS THE SCREEN. Voiceover: "The true meaning of evil..... something that is morally bad or wrong. FOOTAGE IS SHOWN OF MELINA ATTACKING TRISH STRATUS ON THE SET OF A PHOTO SHOOT. "Causing ruin, injury or pain". MARK HENRY IS SHOWN ATTACKING HIGH OCTANE ON RAMPAGE WHEN HE FACED CARLITO. "Characterized by anger or spite". MONEY MIKE IS SHOWN LOOKING AT THE ILLUSION OF THE MASK OF STARMAN. "That which causes harm, misfortune or destruction". THE REPLAY OF KURT ANGLE MAKING TRAVIS WAKEMAN TAP OUT TO THE ANKLE LOCK WHILE VINCE McMAHON BERATED HIM IS AGAIN SHOWN. "Reality is, evil comes in many forms and can spread very quickly. In the fight of good versus evil, many people expect these evildoers to be disposed of, extinguished and put away forever........ but what is the reality of that"? ONE FINAL SHOT IS SHOWN OF VINCE McMAHON BEFORE HE GOES INTO A HECKLING, ALMOST MANIACAL LAUGH AS THE SHOT CUTS INTO A VIEW FROM OUTSIDE THE KEMPER ARENA. "And now, TWF Entertainment presents.......... THE ARENA IS SHOWN FROM THE INSIDE AND THE FANS ARE GOING ABSOLUTELY WILD AS PYRO BLASTS OFF THE SET WHICH CONTAINS THE EVIL INTENTIONS LOGO AND A LARGE DAGGER SWINGING BACK AND FORTH ACROSS THE STAGE LIKE A PENDULUM. ON TOP OF THE LOGO IS A SILHOUETTE OF SOMEONE PEERING DOWN, A VERY COOL EFFECT. Jim Ross: "We are inside the infamous Kemper arena in Kansas City, Missouri ready to bring you pay-per-view action as only the TWF can do and King, nine matches in all tonight and we've got four major titles to decide"! Jerry Lawler: "All day long, these fans in this area have been talking about Angle versus Wakeman and all I've got to say J.R. is that you and I and all these people could bear witness to the greatest technical wrestling match of all time"! "SOME BODIES GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA HITS AND OUT COMES MARK HENRY WITH A VERY MENACING LOOK ON HIS FACE. HE IS FOLLOWED CLOSELY BY CARLITO AND THE CROWD REACTS WITH PLENTY OF BOOS. J.R.: "I won't disagree with ya there King but a technical masterpiece this next match will not be as the world's strongest man Mark Henry in my opinion is not here to wrestle, all he's interested in is hurting and maming people"! Lawler: "Well I am very familiar with this guy J.R. and the power he possesses is absolutely ungodly! I mean, I think he could lift the entire Kansas City Chiefs offensive line at once"! AN ENGINE REVS UP AND HIGH OCTANE COMES OUT TO A VERY POSITIVE REACTION AS DISTURBED's "DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS" STARTS TO PLAY. J.R.: "The man deadlifts over a thousand pounds and lord only knows what else he's capable of but he's got himself a tough draw tonight in the former World champion"! Lawler: "We all know the problems that Carlito and High Octane have had lately and apparently when High Octane became Carlito's problem, he became Henry's problem too"! J.R.: "Well I've already heard Carlito refer to Henry as his problem solver but if you ask me, it should be him in this match, not the world's strongest man"! Lawler: "And that's probably why no one ever asks you J.R."! Mark Henry w/ Carlito vs. "High Octane" Damion West The bell sounded to start the match and referee Chad Patton was in charge, calling the shots as Octane looked for a way to combat Henry. Each time he moved in, Henry literally palmed his head and threw him backwards. Henry then lunged at him but West ducked and kicked at the knees and shins of the massive Henry. He then hit the ropes but walked into a hard, hard clothesline. After a big elbow drop, Henry was looking for a quick win but West was able to shake free from his shoulders and deliver a flying forearm to the back of the head. West still hadn't come close to taking Henry off his feet so he went for a leg-o-matic. But Henry flipped him up over his head. Octane landed on his feet and then ducked a clothesline before dropkicking the right knee out from Henry. From there, he came off the middle rope with that legdrop, finally taking Henry off his feet. In the midst of eating an apple, Carlito spit some of it out when he saw Henry go down. Octane made the cover and got 1.........2......., but Henry pushed him off. Seeing he was staggered, Octane went to the top rope and flew off with a crossbody attack but that proved to be a mistake as Henry caught him in mid air and drove him into the mat with the "World's Strongest Slam". Henry made the cover and got the 1............2.......3 as a hush fell over the pro-High Octane crowd. Match Time: 6:43 J.R.: "A gallant effort from High Octane. Mark Henry was just..... wait a minute, what's this"?! WITH THE DAMAGE DONE, CARLITO ENTERED THE RING AND TOOK A BITE OF HIS APPLE, SPITTING IT IN OCTANE's FACE AS "SOME BODIES GONNA GET IT" CAME ON TODAY. Oh come on, there's no need for that"! Lawler: "Well I bet some of the guys in the back are watching and are taking note not to mess with Carlito in the future"! J.R.: "And I want to know just what the hell High Octane did to him in the first place"! Lawler: "He got in the way". J.R.: "He got in his way alright, but Carlito wasn't the one who took care of it". BACKSTAGE AREA..... THE FANS CHEER AS MICK FOLEY IS SHOWN IN THE BACK WHEN CRYSTAL CARMICHAEL AND JAMAL COME UP. Crystal: "Hey Mick, we just wanted....... Mick Foley: "Save it Crystal, I know what you want. You want to know what's gonna happen with the tag team titles now that Rosey was drafted by PrimeTime. Well I'll be honest, at first, I was just gonna give the titles to the Bashams but then I thought, these people didn't pay to see that. So what I've decided to do right here, in St. Louis, Missouri, is that you will be allowed to select one person for your partner for tonight and if you guys win the titles, they're yours"! Crystal: (excitedly) "It can be anyone"? Foley: "Yes Crystal, it can be anyone. But should Jamal not find someone that will team with him, that's when things will get really interesting because his partner will be....... you Crystal"! CRYSTAL LOOKS AT JAMAL AS IF TO GET HIM TO DO SOMETHING BUT HE JUST STARES AT FOLEY BEFORE PULLING HER AWAY. THE FANS INSIDE LOUDLY CHEER WHEN THEY HEAR THAT. THE HART FAMILY THEME, SUNG BY JIMMY HART HIMSELF, HITS AND HART MAKES HIS WAY OUT WITH MAX OGDEN TRAILING. J.R.: "They can't argue about that decision King, they can have anyone in the Rampage lockerroom as a tag team partner tonight". Lawler: "Yeah, but who is it gonna be"?! J.R.: "Well one person it won't be is Snitsky, the former muscle of the Hart Family who was drafted over to PrimeTime just a few days ago". Lawler: "Well I talked to Jimmy Hart when he arrived here tonight and he called that a devastating blow as he had huge plans for him". "LYING FROM YOU" BY LINKIN PARK HITS, BRINGING JOE COREY OUT TO A HUGE POP. J.R.: "Yeah, I'll bet they did and I'm sure one of those plans was for him to get involved in this match tonight"! Lawler: "I don't think so J.R., Max Ogden wants to make a statement tonight, he wants to prove to the world that Joe Corey isn't responsible for as much of his career as he thinks he is"! J.R.: "I don't think Corey is taking credit for all of what he's done, but it was Corey who spotted this kid early in his career and took him under his wing". Lawler: "Max Ogden has a lot to prove tonight though J.R., it's a bigger match for him than it is for Corey, especially after Corey beat him with one move on the Main Event"! Max Ogden w/ Jimmy Hart vs. "The Show" Joe Corey The bell sounded and referee Jack Doan stood in the middle of the ring, ready to call the action. Corey was very eager to start the match but Ogden seemed rather tentative, ducking under the ropes two seperate times as Corey moved in. Suddenly, Ogden charged out of the corner, hoping to surprise Corey but he ran right into a stiff left jab. After 2 european uppercuts, Corey whipped Ogden to the ropes, elevating him with a backbody drop. Ogden got up but was hit with a clothesline and Corey was rolling. Corey pulled Ogden up and whipped him to the corner, following in with a clothesline. He then climbed to the middle turnbuckle and pounded away at the head of Ogden with right hands as the crowd counted each one, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, but Ogden grabbed the back of Corey's legs and fell backwards, dropping him face first right on the steel post and that is where the complexion of the match changed. An old cut on the forehead of Corey reopened and blood was flowing out. Doan tried to keep Ogden back but Ogden moved in like a dangerous predator, pounding away at Corey and ripping at the open skin. Hart taunted Corey over the megaphone and the situation grew more grim as Ogden hit the ropes and kicked Corey square in the face. He made the cover and got a long 2 count but there was still some fight left in The Show. Ogden kept bringing the offense, not letting up a bit and after a wicked DDT, he went to the top rope. Corey was on his hands and knees and Ogden flew off with the flying legdrop he calls the Deep Throat. But something told Corey to move and he just got out of the win, reenrgizing the crowd. Corey got Ogden up and shot him to the ropes, catching him with a textbook spinebuster as he came off. A very bloody Corey was now feeling it and he waited on Ogden, kicking him in the gut and trying to hook him up for the "Showstopper" but Ogden countered by tripping him up and flipping over him into a cover. Corey kicked out at 2 but Ogden got up first and kicked Corey in the midsection. He then tried to get on his shoulders for some sort of victory roll but Corey countered with a nice electric chair drop. From there, Corey pulled Ogden up and whipped him to the corner but Ogden moved out of the way as he charged in and came up with a schoolboy into a pinning combination and as Doan made the count, Ogden grabbed the hand of Jimmy Hart for more leverage and the 3 count was registered. Match Time: 8:28 J.R.: "Well I'll be damned"! Lawler: "He got him! Max Ogden has defeated Joe Corey"! OGDEN AND HART LEFT THE RING LIKE THEY STOLE SOMETHING WHILE IN THE RING, COREY, WHO HAD THE PREVERBIAL CRIMSON MASK, ARGUED WITH DOAN. J.R.: "This is highway robbery! It's nothing more than that King"! Lawler: "It goes down as a win in the books though J.R. but more importantly, it's gonna help Max Ogden drive it into people's heads that he is responsible for all his success, not Joe Corey"! J.R.: "Yeah, and give a big piece of credit to Jimmy Hart in that too". BACKSTAGE...... VINCE McMAHON AND MELINA ARE SHOWN IN AN OFFICE BACKSTAGE. Melina: "Thanks for listening to my problems and offering to help Vince". Vince McMahon: "Oh, no problem Melina, I'm happy to be of service". Melina (looking at the Women's title): "Well, I guess it's time for my match, time to put everything I've worked for on the line against that bitch Trish Stratus and Vince, I'm gonna be damned if she takes this title away from me too". Vince: "Uh, I have a good feeling you're gonna come out on top tonight Melina". THE TWO SMILE AT EACH OTHER AS THE SHOT SHIFTS TO KRISTAL WHO IS STANDING WITH TATANKA OUTSIDE HIS DRESSING ROOM. Kristal: "Tatanka, later tonight, you will go one on one with one of Rampage's newest superstars, Muhammad Hassan. Now, we've all heard some of the things Hassan has had to say throughout his career. Being a Native American, how do you feel about that"? Tatanka: "Hassan, don't you think my people were in the same situation you complain about all the time? My people have fought their whole lives trying to earn the respect of their fellow Americans. But guess what, they have. And they didn't do it by whining and crying and complaining. You see, the second things don't go your way, you claim discrimination. But let's be honest Muhammad, that's just a cover for your inferiorities, isn't it? Tonight, I plan to not only give you a lesson in the ring, but maybe knock some sense into you and show you that the only reason anyone is against you...... is you". "TIME TO ROCK N' ROLL" BY LIL' KIM HITS AND TRISH STRATUS COMES OUT, THROWING UP ONE FINGER TO THE CROWD WHO GIVES HER A WARM WELCOME. J.R.: "It's time for the Women's title match but I gotta tell ya folks, I had a hard time keeping my lunch down when I saw old counselor Vince back there"! Lawler: "Oh come on J.R., he's just lending a helping hand to Melina who is obviously stressed heading into this matchup". A RED CARPET IS ROLLED OUT ON RAMP AND MELINA's MUSIC HITS AND HE MAKES HER WAY TO THE RING WITH THE WOMEN's TITLE OVER HER SHOULDER. J.R.: "Oh I bet he's more than willing to lend a helping hand but Melina got herself into this match and now, she'll have to get herself out"! Lawler: "But come on J.R., does Trish look like someone who wants to have a wrestling match or someone who wants to rip Melina's eyes out"?! JUST THEN, A FAMILIAR THEME HITS AND THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOS AS WILLIAM REGAL COMES OUT WEARING A REFEREE's SHIRT. J.R.: "What the hell is this"? Lawler: "Hey, that's William Regal and he's got on a referee's shirt"! J.R.: "William Regal who just came over from SlaughterHouse in the recent draft lottery has apparently been appointed the guest referee here! Gee, I wonder who see this up"? Lawler: "This is what Vince meant by having a good feeling about Melina's chances"! TWF Women's Title Match Challenger: Trish Stratus vs. Melina Special Referee: William Regal Trish went from looking very confident to a look of total defeat as Regal called for the bell. Immediately, Melina caught the challenger off guard, coming at Trish with some hard forearms and a few open handed slaps. She whipped Trish to the ropes and caught her with a kick to the head before mounting her and ramming the back of her head into the match while yelling at her. Trish was in a lot of trouble but Melina missed with an elbow drop and Trish got up, kicking her in the ribs. The next several minutes would lead into a classic match, as most TWF women's matches are anymore. Trish grabbed Melina in a front facelock but the champion countered with a modified northern lights suplex and Trish had to get her shoulder up in a hurry as Regal tried to quick count her. Melina stayed on the attack and after a snap suplex, she rolled into a cover and again, Regal tried for a fast count but Trish anticipated it. Melina would continue to take it to Trish, using Regal as somewhat of a tag team partner. With Trish down and in some pain, Melina grabbed her in a standing headlock and went to the corner before hitting a running bulldog. She made the cover after rolling Trish over to get the 1.2., but Trish kicked out. Melina grew very frustrated at this point, slapping Trish across the face. But after hitting the ropes, she walked right into a Chick Kick that put her on her back. Trish fell into a cover but Regal ran around them, acting as if he was getting in position before finally getting down to make the 1........2......., and Melina was up after a ridiculously slow count. Melina then grabbed the tights of Trish and flung her foreward. Trish went face first into the middle turnbuckle as Melina went to the top rope. She decided to taunt the crowd some but Trish got to her feet and brought Melina off with the Stratusphere and on the way down, Melina landed on her head on the mat. Trish went into the cover as Regal made the 1...........2......., but then acted like he got something in his eye. But Trish took Regal's hand and slammed it to the mat a third time as the bell sounded and Trish slioped out of the ring, grabbing the Women's title and raising it in the air as "Time to Rock N' Roll" hit again and the crowd popped for the new champion. Match Time: 8:01 J.R.: "New champion! We've got a new Women's champion"! Lawler: "What?! That wasn't supposed to happen"! REGAL's EYE LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE GOING TO POP OUT OF HIS HEAD AS HE LOOKED AT TRISH IN DISGUST WHILE SHE LEFT WITH THE TITLE. J.R.: "I wonder how counselor Vince liked that?! Ya got an ice pack back there for Melina Vince?! I think she's gonna need one"! BACKSTAGE....... JAMAL AND CRYSTAL CARMICHAEL ARE SHOWN STANDING AT THE FOOT OF A DOOR THAT ONLY HAS A RED ROSE ON IT. Crystal: "Come on, he won eighty seven titles somewhere. Besides, you got any better ideas"? JAMAL SIGHS BEFORE KNOCKING ON THE DOOR. J.R.: "Are they thinking of getting Mackenzie Rose for a partner"? Lawler: "It sure seems that way J.R. but with the losing streak he's been on, I think I'd keep looking"! AN INDIAN CHANT IS HEARD AND TATANKA COMES OUT TO A MAJOR REACTION. HE IS WEARING HIS HEADDRESS AND CARRYING A TOMAHAWK. J.R.: "We are ready for some more action here in...... oh look out! What the hell is this"?! JUST THEN, TATANKA IS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY MUHAMMAD HASSAN WHO RIPS THE HEADDRESS OFF HIS HEAD AND RIPS THE FEATHERS OUT. TATANKA PUNCHES HASSAN IN THE STOMACH BUT HASSAN RESPONDS WITH A KNEE TO THE HEAD. Lawler: "Somebody come out here and stop this idiot"! HASSAN GETS TATANKA IN THE CAMEL CLUTCH AND HE HAS IT CINCHED IN. THE CROWD IS LOUDLY BOOING WHEN OFFICIALS RUN OUT FROM THE BACK AND PULL HASSAN OFF. BUT HASSAN GETS ONE FINAL SHOT IN, SPITTING ON THE FALLEN TATANKA. J.R.: "My God.... what the hell is wrong with this guy"?! Lawler: "He has destroyed Tatanka"! AS HASSAN WAS DRAGGED OFF, THE CAMERA GOT A SHOT OF TATANKA WHO WAS SURROUNDED BY THE FEATHERS HASSAN RIPPED OUT. J.R.: "And he wonders why the hell he is so hated! As God as my witness, I hope that no good, piece of trash pays for this"! Lawler: "Wow, okay, calm down J.R.". BACKSTAGE..... HORSEMEN DRESSING ROOM....... JASON OLIVER IS SHOWN TAPING HIS WRISTS IN PREPARATION FOR HIS MATCH WHEN THE DOOR OPENS BEHIND HIM AND MONEY MIKE COMES IN. Jason Oliver: "There you are, where you been man"? Money Mike: "I've..... I've been doing some thinking, this whole Starman thing is really eating at me. But I wanted to talk to you before your match. This is your chance, the chance of a lifetime, the reason why I chose you to be a Horsemen. Do us proud tonight, take that title from Benjamin. The Horsemen are all behind you, and we don't want to see failure. But about Starman, I want you to see if you can find Cena and get it out of him". Oliver: "Get what out of him"? Money Mike: "He says he knows Starman won't take my money, remember? I want you to see if you can find out why he feels that way". Oliver: "Well my match is almost........ (Mike looks at Oliver with a serious look) okay, I'll find him, I'll see what I can find out". Money Mike: "Thank you". OLIVER GETS UP AND LEAVES THE ROOM. AS THE DOOR SHUTS, A PICTURE FALLS FROM THE WALL AND MIKE JUMPS OUT OF HIS SEAT. FRUSTRATED, MIKE GRABS A BOTTLE OF WATER AND THROWS IT AT THE WALL. THE BASHAMS' MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS BUT THEY LOOK READY. J.R.: "This Starman thing has really got a grip on the leader of the Horsemen King". Lawler: "That's why I wouldn't want to be in John Cena's shoes tonight cause he's gonna feel Money Mike's wrath"! J.R.: "After the tag team titles were vacated following the in ring retirement of Bret Hart, Rampage has seen a very interesting single elimination tournament that will culminate tonight in the finals"! Lawler: "And we saw it take the most interesting turn of all on Main Event when Rosey got drafted to PrimeTime"! "3 MINUTES" BY 2 SKINNY J's PLAYS AND CRYSTAL CARMICHAEL COMES OUT LOOKING STUNNING AND SHE IS FOLLOWED BY JAMAL. J.R.: "That of course took place the same night Jamal and Rosey, who many consider one of the best teams in TWF history, qualified to wrestle in these finals"! Lawler: "And did you hear Foley earlier, he was just gonna give Doug and Danny the belts? That's typical Mick Foley"! J.R.: "And that is why he changed his opinion to a more popular choice, allowing Jamal to select a new partner here". Lawler: "Who's it gonna be"?! "I STAND ALONE" BY GODSMACK STARTS UP AND MACKENZIE ROSE COMES OUT TO A GOOD CHEER. J.R.: "It is Mackenzie Rose"! Lawler: "Well I question this pick J.R. and if you ask me, Doug and Danny have got ot be considered heavy favorites"! J.R.: "It doesn't make for your conventional tag team but if Jamal and Mackenzie Rose can get something going here, they would be tough to beat". Lawler: "So does this mean we have to call them Jamal and Rose"? J.R.: "You're just a barrel of laughs, ya know that"? Rampage Tag Team Tournament Finals The Bashams vs. Mackenzie Rose and Jamal w/ Crystal Carmichael Jamal insisted he start the match as Rose tried to talk strategy and Jamal hit Danny with a thrust to the throat to start the match. After some stiff knifedge chops, Jamal whipped Danny to the ropes and drilled him with a back elbow before hitting the ropes, looking for a big splash. But Danny rolled out of the way, getting to his corner and making the tag to Doug. Doug jumped over the top rope and hit Jamal with back to back right hands before bouncing off the ropes, looking for his flying leg lariat but Jamal impressively caught him in mid air and just slammed him to the mat. Doug's head bounced off the mat as Jamal made the tag to Rose. Crystal cheered, liking what she was seeing as Rose came in, tagging Doug with a few rights before picking him up for a powerslam. Danny came into the ring but Rose met him with a right hand only to have Doug come from behind with a chop block and Danny then clotheslined Rose over Doug who was positioned behind him. For the next several minutes, Jamal stood in his corner as a spectator while The Bashams picked Rose apart. Several distractions, including an inadvertent one from Crystal, led to a slew of double teams from the Bashams along with them choking him with the tag rope. Doug and Danny were ready to put Rose away as Doug set up for a russian leg sweep. Dany bounced off the ropes looking for the clothesline to lead into it but Rose kicked him in the face before drilling Doug with a back elbow that got him free. After hitting the ropes, Rose exploded through both men with a double flying clothesline and all 3 men were down. Crystal yelled for Rose to get to the corner to make the tag. Jamal reached his hand out but just before a tag could be made, Danny came off the ropes and drilled Rose with a football-like tackle, something you'd see at a Rams game. Jamal was visibly upset about this and as referee Chad Patton got Doug back to the corner, Jamal entered the ring and superkicked his own partner as soon as he got up! Surprised by what he just saw, Danny picked Rose up and put him right back down with his "Brain Damage" move and that led to the 3 count as new champions were crowned. Match Time: 7:12 CRYSTAL TRIED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED WITH JAMAL AS THEY WALKED AWAY AND THE BASHAMS CELEBRATED WITH THE BELTS. J.R.: "Now what the hell was that?! Jamal just essentially threw away a chance to win the titles by taking out his own partner"! Lawler: "Well let's face it J.R., Rose wasn't Rosey"! AS THE BASHAMS LEFT, JAMAL TURNED AROUND TO THE RING BEFORE MAKING HIS WAY BACK. CRYSTAL YELLED AT HIM, TRYING TO GET HIM TO COME BACK BUT JAMAL GOT ON THE APRON AND WENT TO THE TOP ROPE. J.R.: "Oh what now? JAMAL FLEW OFF WITH THE AIR SAMOAN SPLASH, CRASHING INTO ROSE AS THE FANS LET JAMAL HAVE IT WITH BOOS. My God! What has gotten into this guy"?! Lawler: "Jamal has snapped J.R.! Crystal can't even control him"! J.R.: "Mackenzie Rose has been decimated! That's gotta feel like a piano falling on ya"! JAMAL GAVE ROSE A LOOK OF DISDAIN AS HE WALKED AWAY WITH CRYSTAL WHO LOOKED CONCERNED. IN THE RING, ROSE WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN, CLUTCHING AT HIS CHEST. JASON OLIVER AND STEPHANIE McMAHON ARE SHOWN WALKING DOWN THE HALL. Jason Oliver: "This is it, the title is mine". Stephanie McMahon: "Look Jason, there's Cena". OLIVER AND STEPHANIE COME UP ON JOHN CENA WHO IS WEARING HIS "WORD LIFE" HAT AND A ST. LOUIS RAMS JERSEY. THE CROWD INSIDE THE ARENA REACTS TO CENA WITH A MIXTURE OF BOOS AND CHEERS. John Cena: "Alright, I didn't plan on seeing you tonight". Oliver: "Cena, I don't..... Cena: "Nah man, I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about the billion dollar slut there". Oliver: "Look, Mike wants to know what you meant by what you said a few weeks ago. Ya know, about how you know the Starman won't take his money". Cena: "And he wants you to find out for him? That's funny, that's real funny. Well you tell Money Mike that if he wants to know why I said that, he can try and beat it out of me in that ring tonight"! Stephanie: "And he will". Cena: "Yeah, we'll see about that". CENA LOOKS AT THE 2 OF THEM AGAIN AND JUST LAUGHS BEFORE WALKING AWAY. THE FANS LOUDLY CHEER AS JEFF HARDY, JUST OBTAINED IN THE DRAFT FROM SLAUGHTERHOUSE, COMES UP ON THE DRESSING ROOM OF MATT HARDY. JOHNNY JETER IS STANDING OUTSIDE THE DOOR. Johnny Jeter: "Look, he said he doesn't want to talk to you. He has nothing to say to you man, just go away. If you don't understand what Mattitude is all about, then just go away". Jeff Hardy: "He doesn't have anything to say to me? Well you're right, I don't understand what Mattitude is all about. The problem for you is that soon, neither will he". JEFF WALKS OFF AS JETER JUST SHAKES HIS HEAD BEFORE ENTERING MATT's DRESSING ROOM. THE HORSEMEN THEME HITS AND MOST OF THE CROWD COMES TO THEIR FEET, MOST OF THEM BOOING, AS JASON OLIVER COMES OUT WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON, A VERY FOCUSED LOOK IN HIS EYES. J.R.: "We are all set for one of tonight's high profile matchups and the King of Cable title is on the line"! Lawler: "Well what about what John Cena just told this guy? He said that Money Mike will have to beat the info he wants out of him"! J.R.: "Well with all due respect to Money Mike, I think Oliver's focus right now should be on this match and not the Starman problem". "AIN'T NO STOPPIN' ME NOW" IS HEARD AND SHELTON BENJAMIN EMERGES TO A LOUD CHEER WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. Lawler: "A huge oppurtunity tonight for Jason Oliver to bring some gold to the Horsemen and he's got Stephanie McMahon in his corner, don't forget about that"! J.R.: "But if he wants to be champion, he's gotta defeat this man, a four time King of Cable, Shelton Benjamin"! TWF King of Cable Title Match Challenger: Jason Oliver w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Shelton Benjamin The match started with a collar and elbow tie up and Benjamin, the former amatuer star for the University of Minnesota, went into a go behind before taking Oliver to the mat. But Oliver showed some mat technique as well, getting on top of Benjamin and locking in a dragon sleeper. Benjamin was able to kick his leg up into Oliver's head to escape the hold before catching him with a spinning jump kick, right in the mouth. From there, Benjamin shot him to the corner and followed in with his body splash before grabbing Oliver for the t-bone but Oliver sensed it and elbowed Shelton in the back of the head. Oliver then hit the ropes but Benjamin caught him with an amazing t-bone suplex, landing in a pin to get the 1........2........, but Oliver kicked out! Shelton was in disbelief but he pulled Oliver up, looking to hit the t-bone again. This time Oliver blocked it with a knee to the gut followed by a nasty DDT. Oliver made his first cover of the match and Benjamin got a shoulder up after 2. With the champion staggered, Oliver grabbed a leg and whipped him to the mat before locking in the sharpshooter, sitting way back on it. Benjamin was in a great deal of pain and he got his hand up, ready to tap out. But he dug in deep and was able to will himself to the bottom rope, grabbing it as referee Scott Martin forced Oliver to relinquish the hold. Oliver got Benjamin up and shot him to the ropes, locking in a sleeper hold. But Shelton had a counter in mind, using a sit down jawbreaker to get out of the hold. Benjamin then threw a kick which Oliver caught but using his free foot, Shelton took him out with the dragon whip. He then hit the ropes for a nice clothesline takedown and made a cover. Martin got about 2 and a half when Oliver got his left shoulder off the mat. Most of the crowd was on their feet at this point but after whipping Oliver to the corner, Benjamin missed the Stinger splash this time and Oliver caught him with the "Reigns of Destiny" when he turned around. He made the cover, hooking the leg for the 1.........2........, but Shelton got his shoulder up in the nick of time. A huge pop came from the crowd and both Oliver and Stephanie were stunned. Oliver locked in a chicken wing, looking to get the submission but again, Benjamin fought his way free. After reversing an irish whip attempt, the champion caught Oliver with a wonderful powerslam. He hooked the leg but again could only get a 2 count. Fans knew they were witnessing a classic at this point and Shelton went to the apron, looking to slingshot himself into the ring. He did and he flipped over Oliver, looking to bring him over with a rollup pin but Oliver escaped his clutches. Oliver turned around as Benjamin sprung to his feet, looking for a superkick which Oliver narrowly avoided before pulling Benjamin in and drilling him with a second Reigns of Destiny. Oliver plopped down on Benjamin and hooked the inside leg for the 1.........2..........3. Match Time: 10:54 J.R.: "Can you believe this? Jason Oliver has just defeated Shelton Benjamin"! Lawler: "This is cause for celebration J.R.! There's gold in the Horsemen again"! THE HORSEMEN THEME PLAYED AND STEPHANIE CAME INTO THE RING WITH THE TITLE, PRESENTING IT TO OLIVER WHO CLUTCHED IT WITH BOTH HANDS BEFORE BRINGING IT INTO HIS CHEST. J.R.: "You gotta give the kid credit, he's beaten one of the best champions we've ever seen in the TWF and he did so without any help from the Horsemen"! Lawler: "Oh don't try to downplay this J.R., Oliver won the title, but it's a title that the Horsemen will hold as a group"! SHELTON LOOKED VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HIMSELF AS OLIVER AND STEPHANIE WALKED UP THE AISLE LOOKING BACK AND OLIVER HELD THE BELT UP IN HIS RIGHT HAND. BACKSTAGE..... TODD GRISHAM IS IN THE BACK WITH SHAWN MICHAELS WHO IS GIVEN A MIXED REACTION UPON HIS SIGHT ON THE TWF TRON FROM THE FANS IN THE BUILDING. Todd Grisham: "Shawn Michaels, up next, you will face Rob Van Dam in a match that you claim everyone has always wanted to see. But after some of the things you've said leading up to this, do you feel your reputation is on the line tonight"? Shawn Michaels: "My reputation as what Todd? If you're referring to my reputation with these people, I think I've made myself clear that I could care less about them or what they think. Now if Rob Van Dam would take that same approach, maybe he wouldn't have to keep referring to his days in a company that went bankrupt and has long since been dead. So tonight, I'm gonna go to that ring the way I always do, compete at the level that I always do and win the match...... like I always do and if these people all want to be me out of the building, I don't give a crap because like I've said, I'm about results now, not winning fans, not making friends"! MICHAELS WALKS AWAY AND GRISHAM SURPRISED BY HIS COMMENTS. BACK IN THE OFFICE VINCE McMAHON IS OCCUPYING, MELINA HAS COME IN IN A TIRADE. Melina: "I thought you had a plan, huh Vince?! I thought my title was safe! What the.......... VINCE DOES HIS BEST TO KEEP MELINA OFF OF HIM. Vince McMahon: "Security, please take this woman out of the office, apparently she has lost her mind! 2 UNIFORMED SECURITY GUARDS COME IN AND TAKE MELINA OUT OF THE OFFICE. Vince (yelling): "I'm sorry I had to do that Melina, we'll talk when you're in a better frame of mind"! "SEXY BOY" LOUDLY PLAYS AND SHAWN MICHAELS COMES OUT TO A MIXED RESPONSE, GETTING CHEERS FROM THE DIE HARD HEARTBREAK KID FANS EVEN THOUGH INSTEAD OF WEARING HIS USUAL ATTIRE, HE IS WEARING A BLACK SHIRT WITH THE WORD "FANS" ON IT CROSSED OUT WITH A RED "X". J.R.: "As much as I respect Shawn Michaels and what he has done in his magnificent career, I can't understand his mindset towards the fans of late"! Lawler: "Well I can. See, sometimes these guys get sick of trying to make the fans happy. Sometimes they try so hard to give them what they want that it effects them in a negative way and that's exactly what has happened with Michaels"! THE CROWD GOES WILD AS "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT HITS AND ROB VAN DAM STEPS OUT, SETTING OFF A BLAZE OF PYRO. J.R.: "And that's why I think it's a little funny that in a roundabout way, they have given the fans what they want! Michaels said it himself, this is a match the fans have always wanted to see"! Lawler: "He did say that but what he really wants is for someone to see things the way he does"! J.R.: "And how's that workin' for him so far?! He tried to get John Cena to see it and that led to a defeat at WrestleMania and now, RVD has spurned him and although we don't know what the result of this match will be just yet, it's clear that the crowd is clearly behind Mister Pay-Per-View"! Lawler: "I would say ninety-five percent of this crowd is behind Van Dam but that would lend even more credence to HBK's theory if he wins.... that the fans cannot and will not effect the outcome"! Shawn Michaels vs. Rob Van Dam "RVD" chants sounded throughout the Kemper arena as the bell sounded to start the match. Jim Korderas was there to call the action as the fans knew they were about to witness a terrific contest. They stood in awe as two of the most gifted superstars this business has ever seen went toe to toe. Trying to keep it a standard wrestling match, Michaels grabbed Van Dam in a standing side headlock. RVD pushed Michaels to the ropes and shot him to the other side. RVD then leapfrogged him and went to the mat for a monkey flip but Michaels stopped his momentum and stomped on the midsection of RVD. He then stayed on him with some very stiff knifedge chops before looking to whip him to the corner. But RVD reversed it and this time, he was able to complete the monkey flip. From there, Van Dam whipped HBK with such authority that he flipped up over the turnbuckle and landed feet first on the apron. RVD then bounced off the ropes, looking for a clothesline but Michaels ducked and came back with another chop to the chest. He tried to bring himself back into the ring using the ropes but RVD jumped up with a spin kick to the chest that knocked Michaels all the way to the floor. From there, RVD leaped over the top rope with a flipping suicide dive. He landed on Michaels but his right foot landed awkwardly on the floor, under Michaels' body. RVD got up and pulled Michaels up by his hair before dropping him throat first over the barricade. He then got on the apron and the fans cheered, about to witness one of his signature moves. After doing his "RVD" chant with the fans, he came off with a spinning legdrop right across the back of the head and neck of Michaels. RVD then rolled him into the ring and made a cover to get a 1.......2........, but Michaels was up. RVD hit the ropes and connected with the Rolling Thunder before going into the cover again but for a second time, Michaels was up. RVD felt he was just moments away from a victory so he went to the turnbuckle, looking for his aplit legged moonsault. But Michaels countered by putting his knees up and Van Dam hit them hard. Michaels then got up and although still feeling the effects of a tremendous beating, Michaels now hammered away at Van Dam with a combination of knifedge chops and right hands. Off an irish whip, Michaels drilled him with a flying forearm before nipping up to a lot of boos. Michaels finally removed the shirt he was wearing and threw it into the crowd before going to the outside and to the top rope. He was eyeing RVD for his flying elbow drop but Van Dam popped up, quick as a cat and ran up the turnbuckle, bringing Michaels off with a frankensteiner! The move sent shockwaves through the crowd as RVD, just as quick as before, leaped to the top rope and flew off with the "5 Star Frogsplash", getting some unbelievable height but at the last moment, Michaels rolled out of the way. RVD rolled over, clutching his chest and midsection which had just slammed on the mat. Michaels positioned himself for the "Sweet Chin Music" and when Van Dam got up, he went for it. But RVD flew into the air, jumping over the outstretched leg of Michaels and connecting with a kick to the head. RVD fell into a pin and Korderas counted the 1..............2........, but no, Michaels kicked out again. RVD got up and grabbed the left arm of Michaels, kicking him three times in the ribs before going for a spinning back kick but Michaels ducked that before jumping over a subsequent back footsweep attempt and when Van Dam got up, he was dusted by the Sweet Chin Music and Michaels quickly topped him for the 3 count. Match Time: 11:01 J.R.: "Wow! That was one hell of a match"! Lawler: "And just like Max Ogden earlier, Shawn Michaels has driven home his point! The fans do not effect the outcome"! J.R.: "Well I'm not buying that for a minute but I will say that I don't know if I've seen a better in ring sequence to end a match in my entire career! That was flat out unreal"! "SEXY BOY" HIT AND MICHAELS WALKED UP THE RAMP, NEVER TURNING BACK OR ACKNOWLEDGING THE CROWD. IN THE RING, RVD GOT TO HIS FEET AND WAS GIVEN A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE. Lawler: "I'll agree with you there J.R. but here's a picture that's worth a thousand words! The crowd is cheering and showing their respects but who are they doing it for? That's right, the loser of the match"! BACKSTAGE...... MONEY MIKE AND STEPHANIE ARE SHOWN WALKING DOWN THE HALL, ON THE WAY TO THE RING WHEN A LOUD CLAMOR IS HEARD. IT's CARNEY AND J.J. RAMPLIN, CELEBRATING WITH OLIVER. Money Mike: "I knew you could do it man, great job, you've made the Horsemen proud". Jason Oliver (with the belt over his shoulder): "Well I'm glad I could finally do that, Mike. Now, Carney, J.J. and myself, we're goin' to the room to watch you take out Cena"! Carney: "Don't worry Mike, we'll save you something to drink". J.J. Ramplin: "Woooo! Let's go boys"! IN ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA, TODD GRISHAM IS WITH TRAVIS WAKEMAN, WHO IS HOLDING THE TWF WORLD TITLE ACROSS HIS CHEST. Grisham: "Travis, in just a little while, you will put that title on the line against the Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle. Recently, we've seen some issues between your wife Trish Stratus and Melina and they seem to involve you. What part will that play in your....... Travis Wakeman: "Todd, no offense man, but I really don't want to have you play Dr. Phil with me right now. I'm going out there tonight to face a great competitor in Kurt Angle who I will have to wrestle a perfect match to beat. But that other stuff..... that other stuff I don't even want to deal with right now". WAKEMAN WALKS AWAY Grisham: "J.R., back to you and the King". J.R.: "We've had a wild night so far King and this crowd is still buzzing over that five star match between Michaels and RVD". Lawler: "That one will go down in the history books for sure but if you ask me, the guys who have made the biggest statements tonight are Max Ogden and Shawn Michaels because they both had theories going into their matches and they proved them here tonight"! THE HORSEMEN THEME AGAIN PLAYS AND STEPHANIE McMAHON COMES OUT FOLLOWED BY MONEY MIKE, WHO DOES NOT GET ON THE CROWD THE WAY HE USUALLY DOES. J.R.: "Well speaking of statements, here's a guy who has a chance to make a big one here tonight if he can knock off John Cena in this battle of former World champions"! Lawler: "But let's be honest here J.R., it's obvious that Mike, who is the leader of the Horsemen, is not and has not been himself! I mean, the rest of the Horsemen are celebrating Oliver winning the King of Cable title and he looks like his dog just died"! "THE TIME IS NOW" COMES ON AND JOHN CENA COMES OUT TO AN ERUPTION THAT IS FILLED WITH BOTH CHEERS AND LOUD BOOS. AGAIN, THE CHEERS SEEM TO OUTNUMBER THE BOOS THOUGH. J.R.: "Well the problems he's had with the Starman, whoever the hell he is, have been well documented but I don't think the prospects of having to face this man are making him all that thrilled either! The last time these two met, Money Mike got help from J.J. Ramplin making his TWF debut to get the win and tonight, Cena has revenge on his mind"! Lawler: "Cena might have revenge on his mind, but let's not forget the fact that Money Mike has only suffered one loss in his entire TWF career J.R. and he has yet to be beaten at a pay-per-view event"! J.R.: "I'm not taking anything away from what Mike has done but I can see the fire in Cena's eyes tonight and Money Mike doesn't have that this time around"! Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. John Cena The bell sounded it and both men met in the center of the ring, trading blows. Cena had more behind his, knocking Mike into the corner before dropping him with a thunderous right hook. He pulled Mike up and shot him to the ropes, lifting him into the air with a backdrop. He then hit the ropes to deliver the 5 Knuckle Shuffle and Mike rolled out of the ring, already in trouble. Cena came out on the other side and went around after Mike, who was seeking comfort from Stephanie. Cena hammered Mike from behind with a forearm to the shoulders but Mike was able to reverse a whip that sent Cena face first into the steel ring post. From there, he rolled him into the ring before bringing himself in with a slingshot legdrop from the apron which got him a 2 count. Mike pulled Cena up and used the top rope to choke him, taking every second of referee Jose Mendez' count as he could. Mike stayed on the offensive, breaking Cena down with kicks to the body before delivering a very nice backdrop suplex that dropped Cena high and tight on his head. Mike was in firm control at this point and between heavy breaths, was able to crack a confident smile. He waited for Cena to get to his feet before moving in with more right hands to the body. Mike then whipped Cena to the ropes but Cena ducked a clothesline and got him up for the "F-U", drilling him with it. But suddenly, a flash of light shot across the arena and a voice came over the loudspeakers, grimly whispering "Starman". Cena looked towards the entrance but nothing more happened and he finally dropped down to make a cover. But Mike was able to easily kick out after the delay. Cena drilled Mike with two straight rights to the head before hitting the ropes but Mike got him up and dropped him with a spinebuster, turning the match back in his favor. But just then, Stephanie was attacked from behind by none other than Stacy Snow who came out of the crowd. Mike saw this and went to the ropes, looking to do something but Cena got up and spun Mike around, kicking him in the gut and lifting him up for the F-U and this time he made the cover right away as Mendez issued the 1.......2.........3! Match Time: 5:02 Lawler: "What business does Stacy Snow have out here?! She's cost Money Mike this match"! STACY QUICKLY LEFT AS STEPHANIE TRIED TO GO AFTER HER BUT MIKE HELD HER BACK. IN THE RING, CENA CELEBRATED THE WIN AS "THE TIME IS NOW" AGAIN PLAYED. J.R.: "Stacy Snow must've been returning the favor from that slap from Stephanie a few weeks ago but let's call it what it is King, Mike just lost focus". Lawler: "Oh don't even try and blame this on that Starman crap, this is all Stacy Snow's fault"! J.R.: "Well fans the next pay-per-view offering from the TWF will come in late June and it will feature all of your favorite stars from PrimeTime.... it's Payback"! Lawler: "Yeah, too bad Money Mike and John Cena can't have a rematch there cause I think Cena has a lot of payback coming his way..... so does Stacy Snow for that matter"! THE OUTSIDE OF THE KEMPER ARENA IS SHOWN IN THE MISSOURI NIGHT. J.R.: "We are live in St. Louis at the Kemper arena along with over fourteen thousand rabid TWF fans who are ready for the main event of the night...... take a look". WITH THE ACTION BACK LIVE KURT ANGLE's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS AND THE USUAL "YOU SUCK" CHANTS. UNPHASED, ANGLE POINTS UP WITH BOTH FINGERS AS HIS PYRO EXPLODES BEHIND HIM AND HE MARCHES TO THE RING. J.R.: "It has been over two years since Kurt Angle won his first and only TWF World title and if you ask him, it's been a long time coming for him to get that second title reign and King, tonight could be the night"! Lawler: "Oh you got that right J.R., not only does Angle want to regain the TWF title, but he wants to prove that he is the greatest pure wrestler the world has ever seen"! J.R.: "It's hard to argue the fact that he may already be but the man he faces tonight sure feels like he is"! "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN COMES ON AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK WITH THE WORLD TITLE IN HIS RIGHT HAND. HE RAISES THE BELT UP, DRAWING A MONSTROUS CHEER. Lawler: "Wakeman may have the most impressive resume in TWF history, but he never won an Olympic gold medal and he certainly couldn't have done it with a broken neck"! J.R.: "Oh how do you know that? You sure do seem to know a lot King, do you have any idea why Wakeman is being cheered by nearly ever person in this crowd"? J.R.: "Oh don't start with the fans J.R., we've already been over that subject plenty tonight"! J.R.: "It's because he has earned their respect, something Angle hasn't done in his six years with the company"! Lawler: "The bell has sounded J.R., this match is underway"! TWF World Title Match Challenger: Kurt Angle vs. Travis Wakeman The crowd was immediately into this match as the two men got into their stance, anticipating the others' move. Angle moved in but Wakeman tied him up and went into a standing hammerlock. But Angle dropped to one knee and used the leverage he'd just gained to flip Wakeman over him. He tried to lock in a reverse chin lock but Wakeman rolled through it and grabbed his arm, again going into the standing hammerlock. Angle tried for the same counter but when he went to one knee, Wakeman released his arm before drilling him with a clothesline. Wakeman then tried to grab Angle's legs but the challenger wisely grabbed the ropes. Both men were back up, in their stance and Wakeman moved in. Angle grabbed his hands and they went into a test of strength before Angle hit the biggest move of the match up to that point. He pulled Wakeman in for a belly to belly suplex but being so close to the ropes, he just threw Wakeman over the top and to the arena floor. The right knee of Wakeman buckled as he tried to land on his feet and Angle immediately went out with him, dropping him with a clothesline. But Wakeman was able to get up and punch Angle in the stomach before pulling him into the steel ring post. Wakeman moved in but Angle shockingly got him up for the Angle Slam, only to swing him into the post! Angle got up as the fans were in awe and rolled Wakeman into the ring. Cameras got a good shot of Wakeman who had been cut near his left ear. Angle stayed on him, standing over his back and clubbing him on each side of the head with forearms. He then went into a front facelock and Wakeman seemed to be fading fast as the blood trickled down the side of his head. Referee Jim Korderas moved in to check Wakeman's right arm and it dropped lifelessly to the mat twice. But on the third attempt, Wakeman held his hand up and much like his boyhood hero Hulk Hogan, he began to wave the finger as the crowd came alive. Angle couldn't believe the power Wakeman was generating and using the strength in his lower body, he drove Angle into the corner by running backwards. Wakeman then tried to regain his composure before belting Angle with 2 knifedge chops. He pulled him out of the corner and tried to go for a single leg but Angle dropped down and tripped him up before locking in the ankle lock. Wakeman fought it for a minute before coming up with a somersault counter that flung Angle almost out of the ring. Angle charged back with a clothesline but Wakeman ducked it before putting him down with his own Angle Slam. Wakeman rolled into a cover and got a long 2 before Angle shot his right shoulder off the mat. The war continued and the crowd was loving each and every second of it. Wakeman picked Angle up and lifted him to the top rope before climbing up with him, presumably for a superplex. But Angle pushed him off and after Wakeman landed hard on the mat, Angle came off the top with a picture perfect moonsault. He landed in the cover and Korderas made the 1........2........., but Wakeman kicked out. Angle actually said "Oh my God" to himself, not believing that Wakeman just kicked out. Looking to put the finishing touches on, Angle again locked in the ankle lock but Wakeman rolled to his side, giving Angle a kick in the chest. Angle fell back but didn't let go of the hold. Wakeman sat up and began to slap Angle and it seemed Angle let go of the hold more out of anger than anything. He retaliated with 2 very hard european uppercuts before putting him down with another belly to belly throw. Angle made another cover but Wakeman again kicked out at 2. For a third time, Angle tried to go for the ankle lock but this time, Wakeman grabbed his foot before he could get it in and he tripped Angle up. He then put the ankle lock on himself and Angle was screaming in pain. Just then, Vince McMahon came down the ramp to some immediate boos and the sight of him caused Wakeman to let go of the hold. He and Vince began having words and Vince was yelling for Wakeman to "spit in his face again" when Angle came from behind with a chop block. Angle then grabbed Wakeman's legs and locked in the Sharpshooter and Vince yelled to Korderas to call for the bell. But before Korderas did, Vince was grabbed from behind, spun around and dropped with a right hand.... it was Bret Hart! Angle saw this and went to the ropes, taking a swipe at the Hitman who backed away and Angle turned around into the waiting arms of Wakeman who muscled him up for the "Royal Flush", dropping him on his head with it and covering him as Korderas made the 3 count. Match Time: 11:02 Lawler: "You've gotta be kidding me! Bret Hart isn't even in the TWF anymore"! J.R.: "He's come out here to help a friend King and it's a damn good thing he did... the chairman of the board basically just tried to steal the title"! BRET HART AND WAKEMAN STOOD TALL IN THE RING AS "MAKE WAY" PLAYED AS VINCE AND ANGLE LEFT AND THEY WERE FURIOUS. Lawler: "He owns it all, he can do whatever he wants"! J.R.: "Well when was the last time this happened? Two of Vince McMahon's plans fail in one night, ah, you gotta love that"!
