May 16, 2008

THE SUN BEATS DOWN ON A VERY HOT DAY. A FRESHLY PAVED ROAD IS SHOWN AND A BLACK SCORPION CRAWLS ACROSS IT BEFORE THREE MEN ON HORSEBACK CAN BE SEEN IN THE DISTANCE.

THE CAMERA THEN MOVES IN ON THE MEN. THE HORSES ARE OBVIOUSLY EXHAUSTED.

Man: "Sly, how much longer? We've been at this for days".

Sly: "Do you boys want to get to the promised land or not? We're almost there, now quit your bitching..... you too, Tex".

THE THIRD MAN LOOKS UP FROM UNDER THE BRIM OF HIS HAND AND TAKES A DRINK FROM A CANTEEN.

Tex: "I'm fine.... you said we were going to the place where you can live forever..... and that's all that matters to me".

SUDDENLY, THE HORSE RIDDEN BY SLY STANDS UP ON IT's BACK LEGS, LETTING OUT A LOUD NEIGH.

Sly: "We're here"!

THE CAMERA GETS A SHOT FROM BEHIND THE MEN AND IN THE DISTANCE, RELIANT STADIUM CAN BE SEEN, WITH THE WRESTLEMANIA LOGO PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED.

Sly: "Ya see that, Billy, I told ya we'd get here"!

Billy: "Wow..... this is it, huh"?

Sly: "Now just be yourself men, when we get inside, you're going to see vampires, women with next to nothing on, a guy who looks like he's been dead for years and egos the size of Mount Rushmore".

THE MEN START TO SLOWLY RIDE TOWARDS THE STADIUM. TEX AND BILLY JUST LOOK AT EACH OTHER AND SHRUG THEIR SHOULDERS.

Sly: "Oh..... and some guy, calls himself the Nature Boy".

THE MEN START TO RIDE FASTER TOWARD THE STADIUM UNTIL THEY ARE OUT OF SIGHT. SILENCE BREAKS, UNTIL A TRADEMARK RIC FLAIR "WOOOOOOOOOOO" IS HEARD.

THE SHOT THEN OPENS UP INSIDE THE STADIUM WHERE RIHANNA IS POSITIONED IN THE RING.

THE CAMERA GETS A GREAT SHOT OF THE INCREDIBLY HUGE CROWD AS RIHANNA PERFORMS A STIRRING RENDITION OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. WHEN SHE IS FINISHED, SHE IS GIVEN A HUGE STANDING OVATION AS CHANTS OF "USA" BREAK OUT.

Jim Ross: "Over seventy-two thousand fans have filed into the Reliant Stadium for the ninth edition of TWF WrestleMania! King, this is what this business is all about"!

Jerry Lawler: "I can't believe how many people are in here, J.R., and when you factor in the millions of people watching around the world, this has truly become a global phenomenon"!

J.R.: "We're not alone tonight, joining us are our broadcast colleagues from over on PrimeTime, Michael Cole and The Honky Tonk Man"!

THE CAMERA PANS OVER TO THE PRIMETIME BROADCAST POSITION.

Michael Cole: "Thank you, J.R., and what a night this is going to be! Of course, PrimeTime's action will be capped off by Edge defending the Universal title against Joe Corey"!

Honky Tonk Man: "Well this will be my very first WrestleMania and I can't think of a better main event than that one"!

THE FANS COME OUT OF THEIR CHAIRS AND CHEER VERY LOUDLY WHEN "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT COMES ON AND ROB VAN DAM STEPS OUT TO AN INCREDIBLE POP AS PYRO EXPLODES ON THE STAGE.

J.R.: "One of the most popular superstars in the history of the TWF.... here comes Rob Van Dam and tonight, he has a chance to be the King of Cable"!

Lawler: "Well like I always say, it takes a king to know a king and RVD definitely has what it takes but he'll have to defeat a guy who has been a great champion"!

"MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI HITS AND J.J. RAMPLIN COMES OUT THROUGH THE ECW ENTRANCE, WHICH HAS BEEN SPECIALLY SET UP IN THE CROWD.

J.R.: "Here comes J.J. Ramplin who has held onto that title since September but King, an underlying factor in this match is the fact that Ramplin is part of the new age ECW, something RVD holds very dear to his heart".

Lawler: "We all know that Rob Van Dam made his name in ECW and it is something he is still very fond of, but Ramplin is the guy in ECW on the verge of becoming a breakout star and a win tonight would only solidify that".

J.R.: "Referee Jose Mendez will be calling the action in this one fall match for the King of Cable title.... a superb way to open WrestleMania 9"!

TWF King of Cable Title Match

Challenger: Rob Van Dam vs. J.J. "The Ram" Ramplin

What an incredible way to start the night. This match could very well end up the match of the year for 2008 and will go down in WrestleMania history. The bell sounded to start the match and after a quick tie up, RVD landed a few rabbit punches followed by a quick forearm to the head. After running the ropes, RVD ducked a clothesline but after avoiding a spin kick to the head, Ramplin lifted up and drove RVD into the corner. After driving his shoulder into the abdomen of RVD 3 times, Ramplin shot him to the far corner with plenty of velocity. RVD slammed into the turnbuckle before falling to the mat. Ramplin followed that up with a big vertical suplex before slapping on a big front facelock. The fans recognized the trouble that the challenger was in, and began to get behind him. RVD tried to get free, but The Ram had the hooks in deep. Finally, RVD used his incredible leg strength to get to his feet before flipping Ramplin over with a version of a northern lights suplex. Van Dam shook off the cobwebs before hitting the ropes for the Rolling Thunder but Ramplin stuck his knees right up in his back. Ramplin then hoisted RVD up and delivered a huge spinebuster, covering him for a near fall. Ramplin then used the base of his forearm, grinding it into the bridge of RVD's nose before referee Jose Mendez made him break it. Ramplin had slowed the match down to the type of pace he liked, but off an irish whip, he dropped his head a little early and RVD used his back to flip off of, landing on his feet before smashing the champion with a spinning heel kick. After a corkscrew legdrop, RVD hit the ropes and landed a cartwheel moonsault, hooking Ramplin's leg to get a 2 count. RVD pulled Ramplin up and shot him to the corner before following in with a diving shoulder to the gut. After a backflip, RVD went for another spin kick but Ramplin ducked and at the same time lifted RVD over the top rope, dumping him on the floor. Ramplin followed RVD out and picked him up, driving the small of his back into the ring apron. From there, he tried to whip him into the ring steps but RVD reversed it and sent Ramplin crashing into the steps. Ramplin's knees were the first thing that made contact and he was in an incredible amount of pain. RVD delivered a scoop slam before going back in the ring and what came next was one of the most amazing things in TWF history. As the 70,000+ fans came to their feet, RVD climbed the turnbuckle and flew off with the "5 Star Frogsplash" on the outside of the ring! But Ramplin got his knees up again and the crowd couldn't believe it. After rolling RVD back into the ring, Ramplin climbed back in and covered him for the 1........2........., but RVD was up! The fans started a "This is awesome" chant as Ramplin went for a suplex but RVD slung over him and rolled him up for another near fall. After a kick to the gut, Ramplin picked RVD up for the "Dead Weight" but Van Dam countered with a big DDT. He then ran the ropes and this time, he landed the Rolling Thunder. The crowd could sense a title change coming and after picking Ramplin up, RVD whipped him to the ropes and performed the splits before going for a monkey flip. But Ramplin put the breaks on and stomped right on the chest of Van Dam. He then picked him up again and whipped him to the ropes but RVD jumped to the middle turnbuckle and tried to catch Ramplin off guard with a reverse crossbody. But it didn't work. Ramplin caught RVD in mid air with the Ram's Horns, driving him into the mat and covering him as Mendez registered the 3 count.

Match Time: 14:56

Lawler: "Oh my gosh! I can't believe we just saw that"!

J.R.: "That was one for the ages! A match that will no doubt go down in WrestleMania history"!

Lawler: "And look at this! J.J. Ramplin walked in with the King of Cable title.... and he's walkin' out with it"!

RVD TRIED TO PULL HIMSELF UP AS RAMPLIN WALKED OFF WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE HELD UP WITH BOTH HANDS. THE CROWD MOSTLY BOOED AS "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED.

J.R.: "Well it's gonna be tough to top that opener, that's all I can say"!

BACKSTAGE AREA.......

THE FANS INSIDE THE BUILDING CHEER AS CM PUNK IS SHOWN IN THE BACK, GETTING LOOSE. JUST THEN, CHRIS MASTERS COMES UP WITH THE WORLD TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER.

Chris Masters: "Ah, CM Punk, must be getting ready for the WrestleMania Jackpot match, huh"?

CM Punk: "What do you want? You gonna come in here and tell me how you won the Jackpot last year, cashed it in, and now you're still the champ? Save it".

Masters: "No, I came to tell you that I hope you win the match and that you choose to challenge me for this! (Masters points to the belt) Because I'll knock that stupid lip ring down your throat.... and make you uglier than you already are"!

MASTERS WALKS AWAY AND PUNK JUST SCOFFS BUT IN THE BACKGROUND, CAMERAS GET A SHOT OF MEXICAN WRESTLING LEGEND LA PARKA EAVESDROPPING.

"PICTURES" BY SYSTEM OF A DOWN HITS AND THE CROWD RESPONDS WITH BOOS AS EYE SPY MAKES THEIR WAY OUT ALONG WITH CANDICE MICHELLE. M.X. OGDEN AND ALEX SHELLEY EACH HAVE THEIR TAG TEAM TITLE AROUND THEIR WAIST. SHELLEY IS ALSO CARRYING HIS TRIPOD AND CAMCORDER.

J.R.: "Well if I'm Chris Masters, I'm focusing on Mr. Kennedy tonight and worrying about who wins the Jackpot match later".

Lawler: "Okay, J.R., if that's your philosophy, let's call that match when they're out here and talk about Eye Spy now"!

J.R.: "Okay, fine, let's talk about Eye Spy. They are the Rampage Tag Team champs and have been so since February and they have represented the tag team division quite well, but what a challenge they have in front of them tonight".

THE CROWD LOUDLY POPS WHEN THE OLD HART FOUNDATION MUSIC HITS AND BRET HART COMES OUT ALONG WITH JIM NIEDHART.

Lawler: "Well I can feel the nostalgia here in Houston, but let's be honest, J.R., can these guys still get it done"?

J.R.: "I think all you have to do is ask Ogden and Shelley and they'll answer that question for ya! Bret Hart just got inducted into the TWF Hall of Fame, and what a well deserved honor for the Hitman"!

Lawler: "All I'm saying is there is a difference between being a legend and holding on too long and that's why I like the young team in this one".

J.R.: "But we've already seen Bret Hart defeat Ogden and we've seen The Anvil defeat Shelley. What makes you think they can't beat them in this match"?

Lawler: "Those titles that Ogden and Shelley have say they are one of, if not the best team in the world. Now I know the Hart Foundation were the best team at one time too, but let's face it, J.R., 1988 was twenty years ago"!

Non-Title Match

The Hart Foundation vs. Rampage Tag Team Champs: Eye Spy w/ Candice

Alex Shelley stepped into the ring with Jim Niedhart, who he lost to on the last Rampage, to start the match. Shelly circled The Anvil, who still looks like he can get into the ring with the best of them. Finally, Niedhart cornered Shelley and locked up with him in the corner. Shelley wanted to get a break, but referee Jim Korderas never asked for one. Anvil then pounded Shelley twice across the chest before shooting him to the far corner. After slamming into Shelley with a clothesline, Niedhart made the tag to this year's Hall of Famer, Bret Hart. Hart got a huge response upon entering the ring and he went right to work on Shelley with several shots to the midsection. After a snap suplex, he made the cover, but M.X. Ogden came in to break it up with a boot to the back of Bret's head. Bret got up and was a little angry and yelled "Come on"! challenging Ogden to get into the ring. Ogden obliged, slapping the hand of Shelley to officially get into the match and he and Hart locked up. From a collar and elbow tie, Ogden flung Bret's arms out and then raked his eyes. After a big headbutt, Ogden whipped Bret to the ropes but missed with a clothesline. Bret came back with an inverted atomic drop and then hit the ropes for a big clothesline. Niedhart got the tag and positioned himself on the apron. When Ogden got up, Bret used the top rope as a slingshot, shooting the Anvil into the ring and he collided into Ogden with a shoulder tackle. Niedhart picked Ogden up and slammed him before tagging Hart back into the match. As Niedhart set Ogden up for the old Hart Attack move, Bret ran the ropes but Shelley came into the ring with a dropkick on the Hitman. All four men were in the ring and Eye Spy used a double hip toss slam to get Niedhart off his feet. Korderas ushered Shelley back to his corner, but Ogden tagged him into the match. Shelley went outside the ring and grabbed his tripod as Ogden ran distraction on Korderas. Shelley came into the ring but Niedhart ducked a shot with the tripod and kicked Shelley in the gut before hoisting him up for a huge powerslam. Niedhart then tagged in Bret who hit the ropes and this time, they nailed the Hart Attack. Candice jumped up and down yelling "No"! as Bret covered Shelley and Korderas turned to make the 3 count!

Match Time: 6:41

J.R.: "And that move right there is what made the Hart Foundation multi-time tag team champions! Eye Spy is lucky this was a non-title match"!

Lawler: "Take a look at Ogden.... I don't think he can believe what just happened here"!

AFTER THE MATCH, OGDEN CAME BACK INTO THE RING AND GOT RIGHT UP IN SHELLEY's FACE. SHELLEY TRIED TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED, BUT OGDEN TURNED TO WALK AWAY. NOT SATISFIED, SHELLEY GRABBED OGDEN BY THE SHOULDER AND SPUN HIM AROUND BUT OGDEN KICKED HIM LOW AND THEN HIT THE "MEMORY MAKER"! THE CROWD WAS STUNNED AS "ALL AROUND ME" BY FLYLEAF CURIOUSLY PLAYED. OGDEN THEN WENT OUTSIDE THE RING AND GRABBED HIS HALF OF THE TAG TEAM TITLES AND TOOK CANDICE BY HER HAND, LEADING HER UP THE RAMP AS THE CROWD BOOED.

Lawler: "What the heck is going on? These guys are still the champions"!

J.R.: "It looks like Ogden is just frustrated with the defeat, but if you win as a team, you lose as a team, this isn't Alex Shelley's fault".

Lawler: "It was if you ask me"!

BACKSTAGE......

IN THE BACK, CAMERAS SHOW PAUL BIRCHILL TALKING WITH WILLIAM REGAL.

William Regal: "And once every other man has been eliminated, you and I can battle it out and no matter who the victor, our great homeland gets to celebrate having a winner in the special invitation battle royale".

Paul Birchill: "I can agree to that".

JUST THEN, HARRY SMITH COMES UP WITH AN ENVELOPE IN HAND.

Harry Smith: "Look at this, I got an invitation into the battle royale too. Look, I heard you guys talking, and I got an.......

Regal: "Listen to yourself sunshine! Do you really think that Birchill and I would allow you to be part of our alliance? Besides, aren't you more Canadian anyway"?

BIRCHILL AND REGAL TURN AND LEAVE AS SMITH JUST LOOKS ON.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, THE WRESTLEMANIA JACKPOT BRIEFCASE IS SHOWN HANGING HIGH ABOVE THE RING.

Lilian Garcia: "Ladies and gentleman, the next match is the WrestleMania Jackpot"!

A HUGE POP IS HEARD FROM THE CROWD WHICH CONTINUES WHEN "THIS FIRE BURNS" BY KILLSWITCH ENGAGE HITS AND CM PUNK STEPS OUT WITH A VERY FOCUSED LOOK IN HIS EYES.

Cole: "Well it's finally time for us to join in on the show but I guess the four of us are gonna call this one".

Lawler: "It's gonna take the four of us with all the action we're gonna see here"!

HTM: "We're gonna get our chance to go solo coming up next, Michael, with the return of The Undertaker but here comes one of the best our show has to offer..... CM Punk"!

"MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" FOLLOWS AN INDIAN WARCHANT BEFORE TATANKA COMES OUT WITH TED DIBIASE TO NOTHING BUT BOOS.

J.R.: "Well we all know what Chris Masters was able to do with the WrestleMania Jackpot after winning it last year but here is the man who won the very first Jackpot match"!

Cole: "And he made it very clear to CM Punk earlier what he did after winning it".

"VOICES" BY REV THEORY COMES ON AND RANDY ORTON STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK AS PYRO FALLS FROM ABOVE. ORTON RECEIVES THE MOST HEAT OF THE NIGHT TO THIS POINT.

Lawler: "Well there's definitely no bigger stepping stone in the TWF than this much and hey, this guy has to be a favorite"!

HTM: "Brand new entrance music for RKO too.... it's almost as good as mine, which we all know was the greatest ring music in the history of this business! Ya gotta, gotta, gotta have some.... Honky Love"!

Lawler: "Please don't start singing".

"THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE COMES ON AND MATT CRUZ COMES OUT TO A PRETTY GOOD CHEER FROM THE CROWD.

J.R.: "Calm down you too, let's leave the physicality to the guys in the ring".

Cole: "Here comes the former University of Texas product who has always been on the verge of breaking out.... this could be his chance".

"THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY COMES ON AND AXL IRVIN COMES OUT TO A VERY BIG CHEER.

J.R.: "Does anyone remember when this guy won the Elimination Chamber match? There's no doubt he has the ability to do the same here tonight"!

HTM: "My money is on Randy Orton. Tonight is his night".

AFTER A LONG PAUSE, "TNT" BY AC/DC COMES ON AND A SPOTLIGHT LOCATES CHRIS TIRPAK AMONGST THE SEA OF HUMANITY, HEADED TOWARD THE RING WITH A KENDO STICK IN HAND.

Lawler: "Here comes the kendo stick swingin' freak.... somewhere in that crowd"!

J.R.: "Well if he can make his way through all these people here in Houston, Chris Tirpak has a one in six chance of grabbing that briefcase"!

HTM: "Look at all these ladders out here! It looks like a...........

J.R.: "A Home Depot special"!

TIRPAK CLIMBED OVER THE RINGSIDE BARRICADE AND HELD HIS KENDO STICK OUT TOWARDS ORTON BUT HE WAS HIT FROM THE BLIND SIDE BY TATANKA. REFEREE MIKE ENOS ASKED FOR THE BELL TO START THE MATCH.

WrestleMania Jackpot

CM Punk vs. Tatanka vs. Randy Orton vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz vs. Axl Irvin vs. Chris Tirpak

Outside the ring, Orton and Tatanka teamed up on Tirpak while in the ring, Punk, Cruz and Irvin battled it out. After a kick to the gut, Axl grabbed Punk and threw him over the top rope. But when he turned around, Cruz was waiting with a big spinebuster. After a running kick to the head of Tirpak, Orton grabbed a ladder and slid it into the ring. He rolled in with it, but Cruz grabbed him for a big belly to belly suplex. Tatanka came into the ring and hammered away on Cruz with knifedge chops before dropping him with a tomahawk to the head. Tatanka went to grab the ladder, but Punk got on the ring apron and flew into the ring with a clothesline on the Native American. Punk then turned to Dibiase and risked his body to take out the Million Dollar Man with a suicide dive, an instance the crowd just loved. Axl got to his feet and was able to set up a ladder before starting to climb. Up the other side came Tirpak and both men got to the top of the ladder, within inches of the briefcase. But Tatanka got up and pushed the ladder, sending both men flying and Axl landed very awkwardly on the top ring rope. Tatanka then picked up the ladder and swung it at Orton, but Orton ducked and then dropkicked the ladder right into him. Orton went outside and grabbed another ladder, sliding it into the ring. But right when he came back in, Cruz was waiting with a big knee to the side of the head, knocking him back out of the ring. Cruz set a ladder up and began to climb it, but Punk grabbed the other ladder and drove the top of it right into the lower back of Cruz. He then set the ladder up against the standing ladder, almost like a ramp. From there, Punk ran up the ladder and grabbed Cruz by the head, flying off with a huge bulldog! The crowd erupted into a "HOLY SHIT" chant as both Tirpak and Axl began to stir. Outside the ring, Orton had set up a table before bringing a steel chair into the ring. Orton slammed the chair over the head of Punk before blasting Tatanka with it. He then started to climb the ladder before Tirpak got up and grabbed his foot. From there, Tirpak pulled Orton down right onto his shoulders before Axl came off the ramp like ladder for a WrestleMania Jackpot style Doomsday Device! The crowd was in awe of what they were seeing as the only two men who were mobile in the match by this point, Tirpak and Irvin, began to head toward the ladders. Axl stood the other ladder up and he and Tirpak each began to ascend a ladder, side by side. Finally, Axl threw a kick but Tirpak came back with one of his own. Axl's ladder began to teeter and he had no choice but to jump, landing on the ladder with Tirpak. Both men were on the top rung, and Axl raked his eyes, grabbing for the briefcase. But Tirpak responded with a punch to the gut before grabbing the briefcase and hitting him in the head with it. Axl tried to keep his balance but he couldn't and he fell from the ladder, outside the ring and right through the table! Another "Holy Shit" chant broke out but seconds later, Tirpak unlatched the briefcase to claim the Jackpot!

Match Time: 10:35

J.R.: "Chris Tirpak has done it! Chris Tirpak has grabbed the golden ticket"!

Lawler: "Can you believe this?! Chris Tirpak has hit the jackpot"!

"TNT" BLARED OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AS TIRPAK SAT ATOP THE LADDER, HOLDING THE BRIEFCASE HIGH IN THE AIR.

Cole: "And no offense to Tirpak, but he's a guy who has been floudering here in the TWF and what a way to break out of the funk"!

HTM: "I'll say, and he outlasted five other great superstars to pull it off"!

J.R.: "Tirpak has between now and WrestleMania 10 to use that Jackpot briefcase and it can come at any time..... anywhere"!

BACKSTAGE.......

UFC PRESIDENT DANA WHITE IS SHOWN WITH TODD GRISHAM OUTSIDE CHUCK LIDDELL's DRESSING ROOM.

Todd Grisham: "Here with me at this time is the president of the UFC, Dana White who has quite a bit riding on tonight's match between Money Mike and Tito Ortiz teaming up against John Cena and Chuck Liddell".

Dana White: "Yeah, yeah I do".

Grisham: "Dana, we all know that should Cena and Liddell lose the match, then Money Mike, of all people, takes your place as president of the UFC".

Dana White: "And I will stop at nothing to make sure that doesn't happen".

Grisham: "Okay, so now that they have named their stipulation, it's now time to hear yours".

Dana White: "Well, I have plenty of ways of hurting Tito, and I plan to do that in the very near future. My focus is on you, Money Mike. So if you and Tito lose tonight, then I never want to see Stephanie McMahon again!

THE CROWD CHEERS

That's right. Now everybody knows your family owns this thing, so you'll still be a part of it. All I want is for you to stay off camera, in the back, in the bedroom, whatever you do...... just so we..... the fans, don't have to deal with you".

DANA WHITE WALKS AWAY AND GRISHAM SEEMS VERY SURPRISED.

BACK AT THE PRIMETIME BROADCAST POSITION.......

Cole: "Can you believe that? If Money Mike and Tito Ortiz can't pick up the victory tonight, then Stephanie McMahon is gone from the TWF, for all intents and purposes"!

HTM: "Mike, you guys better make sure you win that match. No one wants to see that".

Cole: "Well I'd beg to differ, but one thing just about everyone wants to see is what we have coming up! For the first time in over two years, The Undertaker returns to the TWF"!

A 30 SECOND VIDEO PACKAGE IS SHOWN OF THE UNDERTAKER's CAREER IN THE TWF. IT SHOWS HIS TWO VICTORIES IN THE ROYAL RUMBLE FOLLOWED BY HIS WORLD TITLE VICTORIES OVER "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN, THE ROCK, RON SIMMONS AND KURT ANGLE.

BACK TO LIVE ACTION, THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND KEVIN THORN's MUSIC HITS. HE COMES OUT TO A HOARD OF BOOS AND HE IS LED TO THE RING BY ARIEL, WHO HAS A BLACK CAPE WITH A HOOD ON. THORN TRAILS HER WITH HIS WALKING STICK AND THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST.

HTM: "Think The Undertaker likes vampires, Cole"?

Cole: "I don't think The Undertaker likes anyone who is an opponent of his".

HTM: "Well let's be honest, Kevin Thorn isn't just any opponent! He's been the Intercontinental champion since September and he has been mowing through everyone lately"!

Cole: "And that would be a great argument, but he's facing one of, if not thee greatest superstar in TWF history! A man who is a former seven-time TWF World champion!

THE LIGHTS GO OUT.

And here we go"!

AFTER A SEVERAL SECOND PAUSE, A BELL TOLLS AND THE CROWD RESPONDS WITH A MASSIVE CHEER. AFTER TWO MORE TOLLS, THE FAMILIAR MUSIC OF THE UNDERTAKER BEGINS TO PLAY AS A FOG BEGINS TO FILL THE ENTRANCE. FINALLY, THE UNDERTAKER CAN BE SEEN ON THE BACK OF A HEARSE WHICH IS BEING DRIVEN VERY SLOWLY TO THE RING.

Cole: "Ya think Kevin Thorn might be having second thoughts?! I mean, you've got that man riding to the ring on a hearse! Somehow, I don't like Thorn's chances"!

HTM: "It's been said that The Undertaker defeats his opponents before the match even starts and this is how he does it! Don't let it phase you, Thorn, stand your ground"!

Cole: "The Undertaker brings a very good 5-2 record into WrestleMania and Thorn has lost his only WrestleMania match"!

HTM: "None of that matters right now, Cole. Kevin Thorn is one of the baddest men in the TWF right now and I think The Undertaker is about to find out that he can't just waltz in here and be that guy anymore"!

The Undertaker VS. Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel

The bell sounded to start the match and Thorn showed absolutely no fear of the deadman, walking right up to him and holding The Intercontinental title up. Undertaker rocked him with a right hand and he dropped the title before whipping him to the ropes and drilling him with a clothesline. After hitting the ropes, Undertaker got up for a big legdrop, landing right across the throat of Thorn. Referee Charles Robinson got the Intercontinental title out of the ring as Undertaker whipped Thorn to the corner and hit a big clothesline followed by a huge kick to the face. Taker was rolling as he lifted Thorn up on his shoulder and dropped him over the top rope for a snake eyes. After clotheslining Thorn ot of the ring, Ariel got on the apron and got Undertaker's attention. He walked over and received a harsh slap to the face. But the crowd cheered when he grabbed her by the throat only to have Thorn come from behind with a shot to the back. But this was the opening that Thorn needed. After several thrust punches to the throat area, Thorn lifted The Undertaker up and delivered a huge sidewalk slam. He then got down and used his right hand, choking The Undertaker. Thorn had taken complete control of the match and after choking The Undertaker some more with the top rope, he picked him up in position for a powerbomb but instead delivered a big shoulderbreaker. Thorn slowed the match down some more, knocking The Undertaker out of the ring with a clothesline. He then went outside the ring and tossed him into the barricade in front of the crowd before following that up with an irish whip into the steel ring steps. After rolling Undertaker back into the ring, Thorn uncharacteristically went to the top rope and flew off with a big clothesline, crashing right into him. The crowd was in a stunned silence as Ariel again got on the apron and she and Thorn embraced. Thorn turned and showed the fangs in his mouth, only to see The Undertaker sit up! The crowd loudly cheered as Thorn stayed on the attack. He kicked Undertaker in the side of the head but when he picked him up, Undertaker got a shot into the gut before hammering Thorn with several lightning quick punches. After 3 more overhand soupbones, Undertaker ran the ropes and delivered a flying clothesline of his own. He was starting to sense the end of the match as he grabbed the right arm of Thorn and went to the top rope. But as he began to walk the rope, Thorn used his free arm and flung Taker to the mat, right on his head! Thorn then gave a throat-slash gesture before picking the deadman up, as if to deliver his own trademark Tombstone piledriver. But The Undertaker countered out of it and looked like he was going to deliver a Tombstone of his own but instead slapped on a standing dragon sleeper. Undertaker squeezed with everything he had and soon, Thorn went limp. Thorn's legs went out and he fell to the mat, but Undertaker still had the hold locked in. Finally, Robinson called for the bell as Thorn was out. Ariel was beside herself outside the ring as she heard the bell begin to toll.

Match Time: 7:11

Cole: "And The Undertaker has put the vampire to sleep! Kevin Thorn is out"!

HTM: "I just don't know how this guy does it. After all these years, he can still hang with anybody in there".

THORN SLOWLY ROLLED OUT OF THE RING AND ARIEL DID HER BEST TO HELP HIM UP. IN THE RING, UNDERTAKER DROPPED TO ONE KNEE AND STRETCHED OUT HIS ARM IN TRADEMARK UNDERTAKER STYLE.

Cole: "I for one hope The Undertaker is back for good! He just showed the world he can still get it done"!

HTM: "Nobody who just watched that match would disagree with that".

BACKSTAGE.......

THE MUSIC STARTS BACK UP AND THEY ALL RESUME DANCING.

WHEN THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING, "NO LEAF CLOVER" BY METALLICA HITS AND EDDIE SAINT JAMES COMES OUT ALONG WITH MONICA TO SOME VERY HARSH BOOS.

Cole: "Wow, how about The Godfather?! I miss seeing him around here"!

HTM: "Well we'll have to deal with him and all that ho train crap in that battle royale tonight, but I want to talk about this man, Eddie Saint James"!

Cole: "We've seen Eddie Saint James go through some very wierd incidents over the last several weeks and he's not scheduled for a match tonight, so what's he doing out here"?

HTM: "I talked to both he and Monica when they got here tonight and he told me he might not be in a match tonight, but he'll be in a fight"!

EDDIE SAINT JAMES NOW HAS A MICROPHONE, BUT HE CAN HARDLY SPEAK OVER THE BOOS.

Eddie Saint James: "Shut up"!

Cole: "Yeah, keep disrespecting these people.... that'll work"!

MONICA TAKES THE MIC.

Monica: "Would you people at least act like you have some class?! My man has something to say"!

Eddie Saint James: "I'm gonna get straight to the point tonight! Johnny Hazard..... you want to try and trick us and make it seem like we don't know what's going on, but we're onto your phony ass! The fire poker, the mysterious voice, we know what you're up to! So let's skip the crap! Whether it's the bleach blonde haired idiot I put in the hospital, or the freak with the hockey mask, get your ass out here now and let's finish this once and for all"!

Cole: "Does The Saint know something we don't?! I'm not following".

HTM: "He's cracked the case, Michael! Johnny Hazard, or whatever you want to call him, has failed with his little mind games"!

AFTER A BRIEF PAUSE, THE PHRASE "REMEMBER, REMEMEBER, THE THIRTIETH OF NOVEMBER" IS SHOWN ON THE TWF TRON BEFORE BEING SWALLOWED BY A HUGE DRAGON. AFTER THE DRAGON BREATHES A HUGE BALL OF FLAME, IT DISAPPEARS. THEN, "OUT OF MY WAY" BY SEETHER COMES ON AND THE FANS ARE STOKED WHEN THEY SEE DYLAN JANSENS STEP OUT FROM THE BACK WITH A MICROPHONE. DYLAN IS WEARING HIS OLD "BEWARE" T-SHIRT AND LOOSE FITTING BLUE JEANS.

HTM: "What the hell is this"?!

Cole: "Can you believe this?! Dylan Jansens is here and the fans in Houston are loving it"!

HTM: "What the hell is he doing here?! This show is for talented superstars, something this clown lost a long time ago"!

Dylan Jansens: "Hey there, Eddie, recognize the face? Ya see, there's one code you didn't exactly crack. Remember, remember, the thirtieth of November? On that day, in 2004, I became the Universal champion!

THE CROWD CHEERS

Any idea where that happened? It happened right here..... in Houston, Texas"!

THE CROWD GIVES ONE OF THEIR BIGGEST CHEERS OF THE NIGHT.

Eddie Saint James: "Hey, it might have been awhile since you were around, so maybe you're not familiar with how things work around here. I asked for Johnny Hazard or his alter-ego to come out here and face me like a man! But since you want to take his place, I'll be happy to kick your ass instead"!

Dylan Jansens (chuckles): "No, I remember how things work around here quite well and that is exactly why I am here! My contract with SlaughterHouse has expired, and I will be returning to Rampage or PrimeTime, once my mind is made up. But when I was here on PrimeTime, I remember this guy who used to be the most hardcore superstar this business had ever seen"!

Cole: "Look at this"!

HTM: "Turn around, Eddie"!

Jansens: "Hey Eddie, I think you've got the alter-ego".

EDDIE SAINT JAMES TURNS AROUND AND NAILS IS STANDING RIGHT THERE! NAILS SMASHES THE SAINT WITH A FIRE POKER TO THE KNEE BEFORE SHOWING THE FANS HIS HAND HAS BRASS KNUCKLES ON IT BEFORE DROPPING SAINT JAMES WITH A RIGHT HAND! FOR WHATEVER REASON, MONICA RUNS AT HIM, BUT NAILS KICKS HER RIGHT IN THE FACE! FROM THERE, NAILS PULLS HER UP AS DYLAN JANSENS HAS ENTERED THE RING. NAILS GOES TO THE TOP ROPE AND JANSENS LIFTS MONICA UP, HANDING HER TO HIM BEFORE HE DELIVERS HIS TOP ROPE POWERBOMB!

THE CROWD IS GOING NUTS AS "LEFT BEHIND" BY SLIPKNOT PLAYS AND NAILS STANDS UP, FACING JANSENS. HE THEN PICKS UP HIS FIRE POKER AND RAISES IT IN THE AIR BEFORE LEAVING THE RING TO A HUGE CHEER.

Cole: "Who would have thought we would see this tonight?! Two huge returns, all at once"!

HTM: "Two guys whose time has come and gone! I am sick to my stomach"!

NAILS GOES THROUGH THE ROWDY CROWD AND DISAPPERS BEFORE "OUT OF MY WAY" PLAYS AGAIN AND THE FANS GIVE JANSENS A BIG OVATION.

Cole: "Eddie Saint James may have forcasted some of this, but definitely not all of it"!

BACKSTAGE......

JASON OLIVER IS SHOWN GETTING READY IN HIS DRESSING ROOM WHEN "JUST" JOE COMES IN.

"Just" Joe: "Hey Jason, ready for your match"?

Jason Oliver: "Do I know you"?

"Just" Joe: "Yeah, I'm Joe".

Oliver: "Joe? Joe who"?

"Just" Joe: "Just Joe, it's just Joe".

Oliver: "What do you want"?

"Just" Joe: "Well, you've got this match coming up with Taz where the loser has to leave the TWF, but rumors are running rampant that you actually want to leave the TWF, win or lose".

Oliver: "Okay, now I remember you. You're the guy who wrestled here like what, seven years ago? You ran your mouth and made up more rumors than you won matches, right"?

JOE STARTS TO ANSWER, BUT OLIVER POPS HIM WITH A RIGHT HAND BEFORE WINGING HIM INTO THE LOCKERS IN HIS DRESSING ROOM BEFORE WALKING OUT, HEADING TO THE RING.

THE FANS CHEER AS "BEFORE I FORGET" BY SLIPKNOT PLAYS AND TAZ STEPS OUT WITH A BLACK TOWEL OVER HIS HEAD.

J.R.: "Remember that guy King, Just Joe"?

Lawler: "Joe what, who is that guy"?

J.R.: "It's Just Joe".

Lawler: "Whatever, but after tonight, how long will our fans remember the man who loses this match? There's a lot on the line in this one".

J.R.: "To say the least. Two men who have accomplished quite a bit in their careers are ready to lay it all on the line here! The loser will be forced to leave the TWF forever".

"SUPERSTAR" BY SALIVA HITS AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE MORE BOOS CAN BE HEARD.

Lawler: "And keep in mind that it was Taz that wanted that stipulation thrown into this match"!

J.R.: "We all know Taz can put someone away very quickly with that Tazmission manuever, and it could end the career of the former two time King of Cable Jason Oliver here tonight".

Lawler: "Well first off, that move is an illegal choke and we've always known that. But let's be honest here, J.R., Jason Oliver hasn't even come close to reaching his potential! It would be a big shame to see his TWF career end tonight"!

J.R.: "I think it's gonna be a shame to see either one of these guys go, but that's the situation we're faced with here. Mike Chioda will call the action and it looks like we're ready to go".

Loser Leaves the TWF

Taz vs. Jason Oliver

The crowd was on their feet and very into the match as the bell sounded. Taz and Oliver locked up and it was Taz who went into a quick go behind. Oliver went down to one knee, trying to wrest Taz's arms away from his waist. Taz just clubbed Oliver across the back twice before hitting the ropes but Oliver avoided his attempt at a chopblock and then connected with a swinging neckbreaker. After a couple stomps to the head, Oliver grabbed him in a front facelock. Taz showed great strength by driving his legs and standing up with Oliver, driving him into the mat with a northern lights suplex that got him a 2 count. Taz rolled Oliver to his back and tried for the "Tazmission", but Oliver got free and they tied up again. Taz tried the go behind again but this time Oliver nailed him with a back elbow. After hitting the ropes, Oliver ducked a clothesline and came off the other side but Taz caught him with a powerslam, hooking the leg for the 1........2......., but Oliver got his left shoulder off the mat. Taz pulled him up but Oliver came up with a small package out of nowhere and nearly stole the match, getting a long 2 count. Taz got up and rocked Oliver with two right hands before grabbing him in a cobra clutch. Again, Oliver slipped free with a clever counter and loaded Taz up for a german suplex. He tried to lift him up but Taz blocked it by grabbing the top rope. He then knocked Oliver off and charged him with a clothesline but this time, Oliver grabbed him in a cobra clutch and threw him over his body. Taz landed hard on his head and neck and Oliver quickly covered him as Chioda registered the 3 count!

Match Time: 3:56

J.R.: "Taz has been put down for the count of three and his TWF career has been put on ice"!

Lawler: "Can you believe this?! Jason Oliver has not only ended the career of Taz, but he's beaten the Master of the Suplex.... with one of his own suplexes"!

"SUPERSTAR" PLAYED AGAIN AND JASON OLIVER WALKED BACK UP THE RAMP WITH HIS ARM RAISED. IN THE RING, A SHAKEN TAZ HELD THE BACK OF HIS HEAD.

J.R.: "Taz was dropped very unceremoniously and now comes the hard part.... the realization that it's all over".

TAZ PEERED INTO THE CROWD BEFORE GETTING TO HIS FEET. A SLIGHT TEAR STREAMED DOWN HIS CHEEK AS THE FANS RESPONDED WITH A STANDING OVATION.

Lawler: "I hate to say it, but Taz asked for this"!

J.R.: "A tremendous show of respect for Taz, who has to be in shock over what has gone down here. But looking back on his career, this man has nothing to be ashamed of".

TAZ EXITS THE RING, SLAPPING HANDS WITH AS MANY FANS AS HE CAN.

BACKSTAGE.......

BACK IN THEIR DRESSING ROOM, SHAWN MICHAELS AND JORDAN ROCKWELL ARE READY FOR THEIR MATCH. MICHAELS GRABS BOTH TAG TEAM TITLE BELTS AND HANDS ONE TO ROCKWELL.

Shawn Michaels: "You ready for this"?

Jordan Rockwell: "What kind of question is that? Did you forget who you're talkin' to? You're talkin' to the.......

Michaels: "I know who you are. And you know who I am...... now let's go out there and remind the world why we became tag team champs in the first place".

BOOS FILL THE STADIUM WHEN JBL's MUSIC HITS AND A LIMO WITH BULLHORNS ON THE HOOD PULLS IN. THOSE BOOS GET EVEN LOUDER WHEN BOTH OF THE REAR DOORS OPEN AND JBL STEPS OUT ONE SIDE WHILE PJ CASH COMES OUT THE OTHER.

Cole: "Well here comes the team that fancies themselves the Million Dollar Duo but will they have enough to become Tag Team champions because it doesn't matter how much is in their bank account once that bell sounds".

HTM: "Well if you're asking me, and I assume you are, then they definitely have enough to win this match. I mean, JBL is one of the top superstars in this industry and PJ Cash is one of the fastest rising superstars, so what more do you need"?

"SEXY BOY" STARTS UP AND SHAWN MICHAELS COMES OUT WITH HIS TAG TEAM TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST TO AN INCREDIBLE POP AS PYRO POUNDS BEHIND HIM. AFTER GETTING DOWN ON HIS KNEES IN PRAYER, "BACK IN BLACK" BY AC/DC HITS AND JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT TO AN AMAZING CHEER CARRYING HIS TAG TEAM BELT. AFTER SLAPPING HANDS WITH MICHAELS, THE CHAMPIONS HEAD DOWN THE VERY LONG ENTRANCE RAMP TO THE RING.

Cole: "Well call me crazy, but it's gonna take a lot more when you're facing two of the greatest superstars in the history of the TWF"!

HTM: "Jordan Rockwell and Shawn Michaels have been a great tag team, I'll give them their due! But when have they ever seen eye to eye?! I mean.......

Cole: "Sorry to cut you off, Honky, but they seem to be on the same page and extremely motivated tonight. JBL and PJ Cash might have a lot of money, but they've wrestled how many times together, twice"?

TWF Tag Team Title Match

Challengers: JBL and PJ Cash vs. Jordan Rockwell and Shawn Michaels

The bell rang and while JBL and PJ Cash talked over strategy, Rockwell took a page out of their book by attacking them before the bell. After hitting Cash in the back of the head, he knocked JBL onto the apron with a right hand. Rockwell then pushed Cash into the corner and hit him with an incredible 27 right hands before referee Mickey Henson stepped in, almost disqualifying him. Rockwell then whipped Cash to the corner and followed in with a shoulder but he posted it when Cash moved out of the way. After an armbar DDT, Cash got to his corner and tagged in JBL. JBL came in showing a real mean streak. After slamming Rockwell's right arm over the top rope twice, JBL kicked it in a punting motion. Rockwell was clearly in pain as tha challengers were rendering his right arm useless. After placing his right hand behind his back, JBL slammed him right on it before tagging Cash back in. Cash went to the top rope and came off with a missile dropkick before covering Rockwell, but he only got a 2 count. Cash went to the ropes again, but he went to the well one too many times as Rockwell got to one knee and punched him right in the gut. With Cash down, Rockwell was able to slowly make it to his corner and slap the hand of Shawn Michaels. Michaels came in and knocked down Cash with 3 right hands before hitting the ropes but JBL drove his knee into the small of his back. That allowed Cash to get up but Michaels blocked a right hand and delivered an inverted atomic drop. He then ran the ropes and connected with a flying forearm before nipping up but JBL was in the ring and he kicked HBK right in the face. Henson forced JBL out after a stern warning but Cash was now up putting the boots to Michaels. Cash pulled him up and backed him into the corner with several right hands before lifting him to the top rope. From there, he brought him off with a nasty rolling neckbreaker. Cash made the cover, but Michaels was up at 2. JBL tagged back into the match and started by dropping 2 elbows across the chest of Michaels. He then told the huge crowd "Texas sucks"! which sure drew their ire. After getting Michaels up, JBL pulled him right into a huge clothesline. After another elbow drop, he drove the base of his forearm right into Michaels' cheekbone. JBL got Michaels up again and this time, delivered a big fallaway slam. Rockwell was yelling for Michaels to get back in the match, but he must've seemed like he was a mile away. JBL got Michaels up again and rocked him with right hands and hammer punches in the corner before again pulling him into a clothesline. A cover was made, but again only a 2 count. JBL said it was time to end it, so he shot Michaels to the corner as he hit the ropes himself. JBL winded up for the "Clothesline from Hell" but Michaels ducked and cracked him with the "Sweet Chin Music"! The crowd was jumping around and cheering as both men were down. They began to make their way to their corners as the crowd got louder. Simultaneous tags were made and Rockwell came in with Cash. Cash threw a right hand but Rockwell blocked it and hammered him with 3 hard right hands of his own. Still favoring his right shoulder, Rockwell slapped the chest of Cash with knifedge chops but Cash got in a thumb to the eye before running the ropes for a knee right to the side of the head. Cash felt he had Rockwell in trouble and went to the outside of the ring, climbing to the top rope. From there, he flew off with a crossbody but Rockwell rolled through it and had the cover, getting an extremely near fall. Rockwell hurt his shoulder even further and after a kick to the gut, Cash went for the "Cash Register". But Rockwell pushed out of it and kicked Cash low, connecting with the "Extreme Measures". That too hurt his shoulder but he had enough to make the cover as Michaels came into the ring and superkicked JBL again. Henson got down and pounded the mat for the 1.......2.........3, awarding the match to the champions!

Match Time: 11:09

Cole: "Jordan Rockwell and Shawn Michaels have just made a WrestleMania-sized withdrawl from the account of the Million Dollar Duo and they have retained the TWF Tag Team titles"!

HTM: "Jordan Rockwell doesn't look like a winner in there, he and Shawn Michaels took a serious beating in this match"!

JBL AND CASH LEFT THE RING TO PLENTY OF HECKLING FROM THE CROWD AS HENSON HANDED ROCKWELL AND MICHAELS THEIR BELTS. "BACK IN BLACK" PLAYED AGAIN AND THE CROWD WAS RAUCOUS.

Cole: "Rockwell may've sustained serious damage to that shoulder, but I guarantee he doesn't feel it right now"!

BACKSTAGE...... RIC FLAIR's DRESSING ROOM......

RIC FLAIR IS SHOWN IN HIS DRESSING ROOM TAPING HIS FINGERS AS THE CROWD "WOOOOOOOOOOS" FROM INSIDE. SUDDENLY, THERE IS A KNOCK ON THE DOOR AND ARN ANDERSON WALKS IN.

Ric Flair: "Arn, I got my match coming up, man".

Arn Anderson: "I know, but I brought by some guys for a visit".

SUDDENLY, IN WALKS J.J. DILLON, BARRY WINDHAM AND TULLY BLANCHARD, EACH HOLDING UP 4 FINGERS. FLAIR STARTS TO TEAR UP.

Flair: "It's so good to see you guys".

Anderson: "Win or lose tonight, we just wanted to tell you how proud of you we are".

Flair: "Thank you".

FLAIR CAN BARELY GET THE WORDS OUT AS THE 5 MEN EMBRACE.

THE SHOT RETURNS TO RINGSIDE AND THE FANS CHEER AS HOWARD FINKEL ANNOUNCES THAT THE NEXT MATCH IS FOR THE ECW WORLD TITLE.

THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYS. THE SPOTLIGHT FOCUSES ON THE ECW ENTRANCE AND SYLVESTER TERKAY BEGINS TO MAKE HIS WAY THROUGH THE CROWD TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS.

Cole: "Ric Flair will meet Dustin Kash right after this match and not to take anything way from the war we're about to witness here, but do you think Dustin Kash will get anything less than Flair's best tonight"?

HTM: "Well of course not, but we've already seen the career of Taz end tonight, I think Kash will make it two for two"!

Cole: "As I said, that match comes up next, but right now, it's time to get extreme"!

HTM: "Anything goes and falls count anywhere! We could see someone pinned where the fifty yard line is supposed to be or out in the middle of the highway"!

Cole: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Fort Minor, to play our ECW World champion to the ring"!

THE FANS IN ATTENDANCE COME TO THEIR FEET AS FORT MINOR IS SHOWN ON STAGE. THEY BEGAN TO PLAY "REMEMBER THE NAME" TO A HUGE REACTION. MOMENTS LATER, CHAOS WOLF STEPS OUT WITH THE ECW WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. IN HIS RIGHT HAND, HE CARRIES A 2x4 WRAPPED IN BARBED WIRE.

HTM: "Oh boy, you better get yourself a weapon, Terkay"!

Cole: "It looks to me like Chaos Wolf is ready to skin himself a Manbear! Look at what he's got with him"!

HTM: "Terkay is ready and waiting.... he's got two weapons of his own.... his fists"!

Cole: "A lot has led up to this match after Chaos Wolf pulled one of the biggest upsets we've seen in some time when he defeated Joe Corey to win that title and now he'll have to do whatever it takes to beat Corey's right-hand man"!

HTM: "Well it's extreme rules.... someone is gonna get hurt"!

Extreme Rules/ECW World Title Match

Challenger: Sylvester Terkay vs. Chaos Wolf

Wolf slid into the ring with the 2x4 and took a swing but Terkay moved out of the way and punched him in the ribs, forcing him to drop the weapon. After sending Wolf into the corner, Terkay removed one of the top turnbuckle pads before grabbing him but when he tried to throw him into the exposed bolt, Wolf blocked it and kicked him right in the crotch, before hitting a big sit-out facebuster. Wolf located a trash can full of weapons and went outside the ring to get it as the crowd loudly cheered. He pulled out a Singapore cane along with a Houston Texan football helmet and he brought them in to a huge cheer. Terkay beat him to the punch, kicking him in the ribs and then catching him with 2 right hands. But when he went for a roundhouse kick to the head, Wolf again punched him in the groin and then belted him with the Singapore cane across the back before smashing it over his head. He then picked up the football helmet and threw it at him, knocking him through the ropes. Terkay landed on the apron and began to pull himself up as Wolf ran in. Terkay got to his feet and was able to wrap his arms around the champion which led to one of the most unbelievable moments ever. Terkay flipped Wolf over his head with a belly to belly and Wolf landed right on the PrimeTime announce table, sending Michael Cole and the Honky Tonk Man scrambling. Terkay then picked up one of the television monitors and slammed it right on the chest of Wolf. After rolling him to the floor, he went for the cover, but only got a 2 count. Terkay got up and reached under the ring, pulling out a broom. Wolf was on his hands and knees when Terkay broke it over his back. After rolling him back into the ring, Terkay actually tried to win the match with a standard wrestling move, applying a tight Fujiwara armbar. Wolf was in plenty of pain, but nowhere near ready to give up. He was able to grab the barbed wire 2x4 with his free hand, hitting Terkay in the head with it! Terkay was bleeding as Wolf picked the 2x4 up but after looking at it, he shook his head and threw it out of the ring. He then went outside the ring and reached under it, pulling out a flat piece of wood covered in barbed wire! He slid that into the ring and grabbed a cheese grater out of the trash can. Terkay got to his feet but Wolf was waiting, drilling him with the cheese grater before taking it to his head. But Terkay somehow flung him off and then kicked him right in the face with a savat kick. From there, the Manbear pulled up the nearly unconcious Wolf and dropped him on the slat of barbed wire with a Dominator slam. After pulling Wolf's mangled body out of the dangerous wire, Terkay went for a cover but incredibly, Wolf got his left shoulder up at 2 and a half. Terkay looked like a madman in the ring at this point, grabbing Wolf by the throat and pushing him to the corner. He then lifted him to the top rope but Wolf spit right in his face and then delivered a tornado DDT! Wolf went outside and grabbed a steel chair, bringing it into the ring. With Terkay on his knees, he slammed the chair right over his head! Wolf then reached into one of the pockets of his leather pants and he pulled out the dreaded stun gun! After showing the electricity in the weapon, he moved in but Terkay grabbed the barbed wire 2x4 and smacked him in the leg with it. As Wolf tried to get it off his leg, Terkay went into his boot and pulled out a pair of brass knucks, cracking Wolf with the Heart Punch! Wolf fell to the mat and was in a lot of pain as Terkay covered him for the 1........2........3.

Match Time: 8:06

HTM: "We've got a new champion! The Manbear is extreme"!

Cole: "He may've stopped Chaos Wolf's heart with that one! My God that was nasty"!

AS "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED, EMT's RUSHED TO THE RING AS TERKAY LEFT WITH THE ECW WORLD TITLE IN HAND WHILE THE CROWD BOOED.

HTM: "All hail our new champion..... what a hard fought win that was"!

Cole: "A big win for Sylvester Terkay, no doubt, but the real concern here has to be over the physical well being of Chaos Wolf"!

BACKSTAGE.......

IN THE BACK, RIC FLAIR IS SHOWN WITH LENA YADA. THE CROWD INSIDE LET's OUT A COLLECTIVE "WOOOOOOOOO".

Lena Yada: "Ric Flair, tonight, you face Dustin Kash and we all know by now that if he is able to defeat you, it will be the end of your wrestling career. If this is the last time you address all of your beloved fans, what would you like to say to them"?

Ric Flair: "Thank you".

FLAIR WALKS OFF AS THE CROWD APPLAUDS AND AGAIN "WOOOOOOOOOOO'S".

BACK TO RINGSIDE, TODD GRISHAM IS STANDING ON THE STAGE AND THE HALL OF FAME LOGO IS DISPLAYED PROMINENTLY ON THE TWF TRON.

Todd Grisham: "Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to take a brief break from the action right now to introduce to you this year's TWF Hall of Fame class!

THE CROWD LOUDLY POPS.

Grisham: "Introducing first, the very first Intercontinental champion of the TWF.... the man they call Double J..... Jeff Jarrett!

JEFF JARRETT COMES OUT ARM IN ARM WITH TRINITY AND RECEIVES A GOOD CHEER.

One half of arguably the greatest tag team in wrestling history..... Road Warrior Animal!

ANIMAL IS USHERED OUT BY MARIA AND HE GETS A MASSIVE CHEER AS CHANTS OF "L.O.D." RING THROUGH THE STADIUM.

The Canadian bombshell who may just be the best diva the TWF has ever seen..... the lovely Trish Stratus!

TRISH STRATUS COMES OUT ARM IN ARM WITH TWF AGENT ARN ANDERSON TO A VERY LOUD CHEER.

And last but certainly not least, the Excellence of Execution.... The best there is, best there was, and the best there ever will be.... Bret "Hitman" Hart"!

BRET HART COMES OUT ALONG WITH KELLY TO AN INCREDIBLE CHEER.

Cole: "Bret Hart, the final member of the class of 2008 was already victorious here tonight"!

HTM: "Bret Hart and I have been up and down the road in our careers and he is a guy who absolutely deserves this"!

JUST THEN, THE HALL OF FAME SEGMENT IS CUT OFF BY THE SOUND OF "MISERIA CANTARE" AND DUSTIN KASH MAKES HIS WAY THROUGH THE CROWD AFTER STEPPING THROUGH THE ECW ENTRANCE.

Cole: "Well it seems that Dustin Kash is waiting no longer, and that's a slap to the face of all these Hall of Famers if you ask me"!

HTM: "When did Dustin Kash need the respect of any of them?! It's time for the biggest match of his life"!

Cole: "Can you imagine the wrestling world without Ric Flair? This man, and only this man, could bring that thought to reality here tonight"!

SUDDENLY, "HERE COMES THE MONEY" HITS AND SHANE McMAHON COMES OUT TO A HUGE RESPONSE WITH A MICROPHONE IN HAND.

HTM: "Wait, that's not Ric Flair"!

Shane McMahon: "Hey, Dustin, look, I realize you're ready to get this match started, but it turns out that we have another superstar to add to this year's Hall of Fame class! So let me introduce you to the one...... the only..... the Nature Boy....... Ric Flair.......... Wooooooooooooooooo"!

RIC FLAIR's MUSIC HITS AFTER HIS OWN "WOOOOOOOOOOO" AND HE COMES OUT TO A STANDING OVATION.

Cole: "Well how do ya like that?! Ric Flair has been added to this year's Hall of Fame class..... as an active superstar"!

HTM: "There's no doubt this man is worthy of every accolade he's ever gotten, but I feel it's time for it to all be over and it's time for Dustin Kash to be the man to end it"!

Cole: "Listen to the response for Flair! Every single person in this stadium is on their feet"!

HTM: "These people are showing Flair the respect he deserves, but those cheers are about to turn to tears, Michael"!

Cole: "And look at this.... Charles Robinson, often referred to as "Little Naitch", will referee what could be Flair's final match"!

HTM: "After over thirty-five years, are we witnessing the end.... I think we are".

Dustin Kash vs. Ric Flair

The crowd was almost hushed as the bell sounded and the 2 men circled one another. After a brief staredown, they locked up and the younger, stronger Kash backed Flair to the corner. Robinson stepped in to try and get a clean break but Kash rocked Flair with a cheap shot. After another right hand, Flair responded with a poke to the eye before ripping the chest of Kash with 3 knifedge chops. He then got Kash up for a shinbreaker before quickly locking in the Figure 4 in the center of the ring! The crowd couldn't believe it as Kash was in a ton of trouble, locked in Flair's signature move. But Kash showed a lot of heart by willing himself to the ropes, stretching out to grab it and break the hold. Kash acted like he was hurt and couldn't continue, so Robinson asked Flair to back off. Robinson gave the "X" sign, alerting officials that Kash was legitimately hurt. But when Flair turned his back, Kash got up and pounded him with a forearm to the back. After a big backdrop suplex, Kash went to the middle turnbuckle and came off with an elbow drop, landing it hard. A cover got him a 2 count, and he had taken control of the match. After a big side backbreaker, Kash sat Flair up and ran the ropes before kicking him right in the face. Kash again went for the cover, but Flair was up again. Kash loaded him up and delivered a big piledriver, spiking Flair into the mat. He again made the cover, but couldn't keep Flair down. Kash whipped him to the ropes and smashed him with a clothesline before signaling for the Verte-breaker. He got Flair up for it but Flair escaped and was about to low blow him, but held back, realizing what the fate would be. Kash responded with another boot to the face before yelling "Just quit"! to Flair. Kash got him up on his shoulder and delivered a running snake eyes before hitting the ropes and catching Flair with a swinging neckbreaker. Flair yelled in pain before Kash covered him, but Flair kicked out at 2. Kash covered him again, but Flair was up again. Kash was desperate at this point, trying to land the knockout blow. He pulled Flair up by his hair and looked him in the eye with a ferocious stare before putting him right back down with a right hand. Kash had turned very vicious, looking to destroy Flair's legendary career. But when he pulled him up again, Flair came up with a small package out of nowhere and Robinson got a 3 count!

Match Time: 6:19

HTM: "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo"!

Cole: "Yes sir! The Nature Boy lives to fight another day! Honky, I don't know how he did it, but he did it"!

HTM: "Typical Ric Flair.... he took a beating for ninety-five percent of the match, but found a way to win"!

FROM HIS KNEES, FLAIR SOAKED IN THE INCREDIBLE CHEERS FROM THE FANS AS HIS MUSIC PLAYED. KASH COULD ONLY SHAKE HIS HEAD IN DISBELIEF AS HE WALKED AWAY, LOOKING BACK A COUPLE TIMES.

Cole: "To be the man, you've gotta beat the man and tonight, Dustin Kash could not accomplish that feat"!

HTM: "Unbelievable.... that's all I can say".

Cole: "Well I'll sum it up with one word........ woooooooooooo"!

BACKSTAGE......

IN THE BACK, TITO ORTIZ IS STANDING BY WITH TODD GRISHAM.

Todd Grisham: "Here with me at this time is the Huntington Beach Bad Boy, Tito Ortiz and Tito, it's well known to most fans of the UFC that your contract with them has come to an end after eleven years as a dedicated fighter. Tonight, you step into the world of the TWF and.........

Tito Ortiz: "Ya know what, save it. The only thing I have to say to Dana White is..... you better stay out of my way".

THE SHOT GOES BACK INSIDE RELIANT STADIUM AND THE RING IS FILLED WITH BODIES. GOLDUST IS MAKING HIS WAY TO THE RING AS HIS MUSIC PLAYS.

J.R.: "Tito Ortiz certainly seems focused but right now, it's time for the special invitation battle royale".

Lawler: "I'd say it's special.... here comes the bizarre Goldust"!

J.R.: "It's been quite some time since we've seen the likes of Goldust and this battle royale includes members of the active roster, former superstars as well as a couple guys from the other divisions of the TWF".

Lawler: "Yeah, we've got William Regal in there, The Godfather, Hardcore Holly and look..... there's Vader"!

"COME ON" BY WATERPROOF BLONDE PLAYS AND SEAN O'HAIRE MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE LONG RAMP TO MOSTLY BOOS.

J.R.: "The manipulative Sean O'Haire is the thirtieth man to come out here and King, he's gotta be considered a favorite in this thing".

Lawler: "Well this should come as no surprise, but Sean O'Haire is quickly becoming my favorite wrestler on Rampage"!

J.R.: "A good old fashion battle royale here at WrestleMania.... last man standing is the winner"!

Special Invitation Battle Royale

With the ring full or combatants, the eliminations came fast and furious. Within seconds, CJ Lethal of Asylum was eliminated by High Octane and Vader tossed out the young Harry Smith. Vladimir Kozlov, the Russian sambo champion, was making waves early, throwing superstars around like rag dolls. Kurt Angle of SlaughterHouse was ready to meet him one on one, and he hammered the big guy with a couple right hands. But when he ran at him, Kozlov grabbed him and tossed him over the top rope with a belly to belly! Johnny Stamboli was able to eliminate Carney, Booker T threw out Hardcore Holly and Goldust threw out Paul Birchill to start an impressive run for himself. Kozlov tried to throw Goldust out but he hung on as Chris Platoon eliminated Aldo Corleone. Jeff Hardy was throw out by Stamboli after a double team by Sean O'Haire and Sebastian Cain and on the other side of the ring, Austin Pyromania was able to upend Nemesis and get him out. Cain and O'Haire's partnership looked like the biggest force in the battle royale until it ran into the Samoan Bulldozer. After a headbutt on O'Haire, Umaga grabbed Cain and threw him over the top rope. Zues, the one time bodyguard for Wakeman Enterprises, was hitting anything that moved and he really looked like he was still in shape. But after he actually bodyslammed Mark Henry, La Parka brought a steel chair into the ring and hit him over the head. It would take another chair shot to knock Zues out of the match. Mark Henry was then eliminated by The Godfather after he lowbridged the top rope and Goldust took Finlay out. Kozlov was still on a tear but was dropkicked from behind by Rob Storm who had enough momentum to get the big Russian out of the match. But seconds later, Storm was heaved over the top rope by Vader.

Vader gave the Vader sign with his hands but he was soon confronted by Umaga. The fans came to their feet for this clash of titans and the two men went shot for shot. Umaga rocked the big man with a headbutt but Vader came back with a clothesline, knocking Umaga into the ropes when Goldust came out of nowhere to take Umaga out of the ring! Austin Pyromania was eliminated by Platoon before La Parka got another elimination, tossing Elijah Burke out. "Just" Joe had La Parka halfway over the top rope but couldn't get him out as High Octane superkicked Hardcore Holly out of the ring. La Parka was able to reverse his position to get "Just" Joe out as well. William Regal, who had stayed away from the action for nearly the entire match, snuck up on Sean O'Haire to get him out before Johnny Stamboli showed off his incredible strength by powering Vader out of the ring. La Parka was able to get High Octane out before Goldust tossed Platoon. Taylor Made began exchanging shots with Stamboli, the only superstar still in there from Badlandz. Stamboli got the best of that before clotheslining Taylor out of the ring. Stamboli had some words for Taylor as he hit the floor, which allowed Goldust to come from behind and toss him out.

We were down to the final four. It was Goldust, The Godfather, Regal and La Parka. Goldust and The Godfather shook hands as if forging a union before going after Regal and La Parka. La Parka was knocked to the apron by The Godfather was Goldust traded shots with Regal. But after kicking Regal in the groin with the Shattered Dreams, Goldust turned on The Godfather. Regal got up, albeit in a lot of pain, and ran at the two men. But Goldust saw him coming and backdropped him out of the ring. The Godfather and Goldust struggled to get the other man out when La Parka came in with a steel chair, smashing both men over the head. Godfather fell over the top rope and out of the ring as La Parka teed off on Goldust. After 3 stiff chair shots, La Parka clotheslined him out of the ring to win the battle royale! After the match, La Parka went into his signature dance as a Spanish tune began to play.

J.R.: "Well I don't think anyone would've predicted this! La Parka is your winner"!

Lawler: "Well I don't know about you, J.R., but there's something about that La Parka.... I just can't put my finger on it".

J.R.: "Well nonetheless, he just made a name for himself almost as big as the one he's made in Mexico"!

BACKSTAGE.......

IN THE BACK, TODD GRISHAM IS WITH MR. KENNEDY.

Grisham: "Kennedy, here in just a matter of moments, you get the oppurtunity to cash in on winning the 2008 Royal Rumble. Chris Masters has been virtually unbeatable since winning the World title. How do you plan.........

Mr. Kennedy: "I don't plan, I just do. Ya see, much like the Houston Texans are to the National Football League, Mr. Kennedy is the biggest name on the horizon in the TWF and after tonight, there is only one name you will be thinking of for the next several years to come and I'm pretty sure you know what it is".

KENNEDY WALKS AWAY WITH A VERY FOCUSED LOOK ON HIS FACE.

J.R. AND THE KING ARE SHOWN FROM THEIR BROADCAST POSITION.

J.R.: "Well, King, are ya ready"?

Lawler: "It seems like Mr. Kennedy is.... let's do it"!

J.R.: "The TWF World title is about to be decided between two of the top young superstars the TWF has. We all know the roll that Chris Masters has been on after cashing in last year's WrestleMania Jackpot and of course Mr. Kennedy, who earned this huge oppurtunity by winning the 2008 Royal Rumble".

"MISTERRRRR KENNEDYYYYYYYY" IS HEARD AND KEN KENNEDY COMES OUT TO HIS MUSIC AND A HUGE ROAR FROM THE CROWD.

Lawler: "He did win the thirty man Royal Rumble, J.R., but he has a huge hill to climb tonight"!

J.R.: "This is obviously the biggest oppurtunity in the young career of Kennedy but you're right, King, Chris Masters has made one heck of a World champion"!

THE SOUND OF BOOS FILLS THE STADIUM AS CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC STARTS TO PLAY. HE COMES OUT WITH THE TWF WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST AS PYRO SPRAYS AROUND HIM. MASTERS BEGINS TO POSE AS THE BOOS GET LOUDER.

Lawler: "Look at this, J.R.. Take a look at the definition, the incredible physique..... it's no wonder why this man has reached the level he has"!

J.R.: "And you can't take much away from his ability in the ring. He has two very debilitating manuevers in that Polish Hammer and of course, the Masterlock".

Lawler: "If he gets that Masterlock on, it's gonna be curtains for Mr. Kennedy"!

REFEREE JIM KORDERAS GETS THE BELT AND HOLDS IT UP. THE CROWD BEGINS TO CHEER AS BOTH MEN LOOK LONG AND HARD AT IT.

J.R.: "This is for all the marbles..... it's a Texas-sized title match here at WrestleMania"!

TWF World Title Match

Challenger: Ken Kennedy vs. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters

The fans started a "KENNEDY" chant as the bell rang to start the match. Masters wanted to lock up, but Kennedy seemed ready to avoid that. Instead, Kennedy asked for a test of strength. Masters got a confident grin on his face before putting his hand out. But Kennedy kicked him in the gut and then rocked him with some right hands. Kennedy went for an irish whip, but Masters reversed it and went for the Polish Hammer. Kennedy was able to duck and then dropkicked Masters in the right knee. That led to a huge DDT and he covered him for the 1........2........, but Masters was up. Both men got to their feet and Kennedy went for a spin kick, but Masters caught him between the legs and just threw him over his head. Kennedy landed hard on his right shoulder and Masters took over from that point. After a huge suplex, Masters pulled Kennedy up and shot him to the corner, plowing into him with a clothesline. As Kennedy stumbled out of the corner, Masters lifted him up for an impressive gorilla press slam. Masters called for the "Masterlock" before pulling Kennedy up but when he went for the vaunted hold, Kennedy slipped free and pulled Masters over with a rollup for a very near fall. Masters got to his feet but was met with a kick and Kennedy went for the "Mic Check" but Masters pushed him away and then clobbered him with a clothesline. After picking Kennedy back up, Masters set Kennedy on the top rope before climbing up with him. He was looking for a superplex, but after 3 jabs to the ribs, Kennedy pushed Masters off. Masters was able to land on his feet though and when Kennedy came flying off, he took him right out of the air with the Polish Hammer. The crowd felt the match was over as Masters went for the cover, but Kennedy kicked out at 2! Masters pulled Kennedy up and shot him to the corner with plenty of force before following him in. But Kennedy got his right foot up right in his face before drilling him with a yakuza kick. Kennedy made the cover, but Masters was up. Both men got to their feet and Kennedy tried to suplex Masters but Masters nicely floated over and landed behind Kennedy before trying to lock in the Masterlock again. Kennedy was doing all he could to fight it off as the tense crowd came to their feet. Masters almost had the hold locked in, but Kennedy got one of his arms free and elbowed him right in the mouth. Masters grabbed his mouth and before throwing a right hand that missed everything and Kennedy hit the Mic Check out of nowhere! The crowd let out a huge roar before Kennedy made the cover, hooking the leg for the 1.........2..........3!

Match Time: 8:33

J.R.: "Kennedy has done it! We have a new champion of this world and this crowd in Houston loves it"!

Lawler: "Can you believe this, J.R.?! Mr. Kennedy has ended the reign of the Masterpiece here tonight and I gotta be honest, I didn't give him much of a chance to do it"!

KENNEDY STOOD IN ONE OF THE CORNER's, RAISING THE TITLE IN HIS RIGHT HAND AS HIS MUSIC PLAYED AND THE CROWD WILDLY CHEERED.

J.R.: "The Kennedy era has begun here at WrestleMania 9! This night will live in the career of this young man forever"!

MASTERS IS SHOWN RETREATING UP THE RAMP, LICKING HIS WOUNDS.

Lawler: "Chris Masters had beaten everybody since becoming champion...... but Kennedy got the best of him tonight".

A VIDEO PACKAGE IS SHOWN OF SOME OF THE FESTIVITIES OF WRESTLEMANIA WEEK DOWN IN HOUSTON. FROM AUTOGRAPH SIGNINGS TO A PARTY IN THE DOWNTOWN HOUSTON AREA, IT HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE. THE VIDEO PACKAGE ENDS BY SHOWING FANS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD ARRIVING IN HOUSTON AND THEN ENTERING RELIANT STADIUM. THE FINAL SHOT IS OF THE CAPACITY CROWD FROM AN AERIAL VIEW.

THE ACTION RETURNS LIVE AND UFC ANNOUNCER BRUCE BUFFER IS IN THE RING. THE FANS CHEER AS HE RAISES THE MIC TO HIS MOUTH. UFC PRESIDENT DANA WHITE IS SHOWN SITTING RINGSIDE.

Bruce Buffer: "Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to make WrestleMania history"?!

THE FANS LOUDLY APPLAUD

Lawler: "I guess we're all gonna call this match, huh"?!

Cole: "WrestleMania history will certainly be made momentarily as the worlds of the TWF and UFC collide"!

Buffer: "The following tag team match features superstars from the TWF and the UFC and it is scheduled for one fall! If Money Mike and Tito Ortiz should win, Money Mike becomes the new owner of the UFC. But, if John Cena and Chuck Liddell are victorious, Ms. Stephanie McMahon may never appear on TWF television again".

THE FANS CHEER UNTIL "KING OF KINGS" BY MOTORHEAD HITS AND STEPHANIE McMAHON LEADS OUT BOTH MONEY MIKE AND TITO ORTIZ.

Lawler: "Can you imagine never seeing the face of the beautiful Stephanie McMahon again? Why couldn't Dana White think of something else for a stipulation"?!

J.R.: "Dana White has his whole company on the line here! Now I know you think pretty highly of the billion dollar princess, but I think that pales in comparison"!

HTM: "What I want to see is how these guys from the UFC, these so-called tough guys, fare inside the squared circle, a place where I poured out plenty of my own blood, sweat and tears"!

Cole: "Something tells me they'll do just fine".

MIKE AND ORTIZ GET IN THE RING AND BOTH LOOK VERY FOCUSED. AS THEY KNOCK FISTS, "MY TIME IS NOW" KICKS UP AND JOHN CENA COMES OUT ALONG WITH CHUCK LIDDELL, WHO IS WEARING HIS FAMILIAR "AFFLICTED" SHIRT. CENA IS WEARING A SHIRT WHICH SHOWS HIM AS A VIDEO GAME CHARACTER STANDING OVER A FALLEN OPPONENT. THE TEAM RECEIVES A VERY POSITIVE RESPONSE.

J.R.: "Well here comes the two men who could be directly responsible for sending Stephanie McMahon packing! We know that Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz are no strangers to one another, but neither are Cena and Money Mike"!

HTM: "I can just imagine what Money Mike would do as the owner of the UFC..... I'd muc rather see that and then he can make Dana White his little whipping boy.... if he even wants to employ him"!

Cole: "So much riding on this match, but I've been told by some very reliable sources that both Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz have been training regularly to learn the ropes, as it were, for this match"!

Lawler: "Well I know I'm ready.... listen to this crowd"!

J.R.: "Mickey Henson, a PrimeTime referee, will be in charge here but the man you see outside the ring is UFC official Steve Mazzagatti, and he's there just to keep order, which I think is an excellent idea".

STEVE MAZZAGATTI IS SHOWN BEFORE THE CAMERA FOCUSES ON CENA AND LIDDELL TALKING STRATEGY, RIGHT BEFORE THE BELL SOUNDS TO START THE MATCH.

Money Mike and Tito Ortiz w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. John Cena and Chuck Liddell

The bell sounded and Money Mike stepped in to start things with Cena, but the fans wanted to see the fighters. Cena obliged by tagging in Liddell and Ortiz wanted in in a bad way. Mike slapped his hand to make the tag and the crowd let out a huge cheer. Liddell and Ortiz, both very accomplished mat wrestlers, locked up and went right to the mat. They struggled there for position for almost 2 minutes as Ortiz had the waist of Liddell, riding him and not letting loose. Finally, Liddell scrambled free and got up, just missing with what would have been a nasty head kick. Ortiz popped up and went for a single, driving Liddell into the corner. Henson moved in to get a break, but Ortiz cracked Liddell with a right hand before using some knifedge chops. Liddell fired back with a right hand followed by some kicks to the body and after dropping Ortiz with a right hook, he got down in a mount, ready to finish him UFC style. But as he wailed away, Money Mike came in with a shot to the back of Liddell's head. Henson forced him back to his corner but soon after, Ortiz made the tag and Mike came into the ring, putting the boots to Liddell. After picking him up, he whipped him to the corner and ran in but Liddell moved out of the way before tagging Cena who came in and he was all over Mike. After a barrage of right hands, he whipped him to the ropes and caught Mike with a big flying shoulder. He then called for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, but when he ran the ropes, Ortiz pulled the top rope down and sent Cena sprawling to the floor. Ortiz then went to the floor and pulled Cena up, whipping him into the steel ring steps. From there, he rolled Cena back into the ring and Money Mike was all over him. Mike slowed the pace way down, beating on Cena for the next 5 minutes. After a big backbreaker, he whipped Cena to the ropes and sent him into the air with a big backbody drop. After an elbow drop right across Cena's chest, Mike pulled him up for a vertical suplex. The fans booed as Mike asked Stephanie McMahon to come up on the apron for a kiss to the cheek. He then told Liddell "Watch this" as he pulled Cena right up into a short-arm clothesline. Mike made the lateral press, but Cena was up at 2. Mike seemed to be toying with Cena at this point, seriously wearing him out. But off an irish whip, Cena ducked a clothesline and delivered a swinging sideslam to bring the crowd back to life. Both men were down, but Cena was closer to his corner. Finally, tags were made on both sides and the crowd went nuts as Liddell and Ortiz went punch for punch. But after blocking a right hand, Ortiz pulled Liddell into a perfect belly to belly suplex, which got him a long 2 count. Ortiz then tried to lock in a dragon sleeper, but Liddell was able to knee his way out. Both men got up, and Liddell used a hip toss on Ortiz before a big clothesline. He then turned and knocked Mike off the apron with a right forearm shot! The crowd was loudly cheering but Ortiz came from behind with a double axe handle. He then knocked Cena to the floor with a cheap shot of his own and he had some harsh words for him as he hit the floor. From there, Ortiz began to remove one of the turnbuckle pads as Stephanie had the attention of Henson. Liddell got up and Ortiz rammed him face first right into the exposed bolt in the corner! The crowd booed hard as it looked like Ortiz and Mike were going to steal one, but Cena recovered and came back into the ring. Ortiz turned around and Cena was there, getting him up on hos shoulders and delivering the "F-U" to a thunderous pop. Liddell was busted open, but he began to crawl over to Ortiz, draping his arm over his chest. Mike tried to get into the ring to make the save, but Cena ran over and grabbed his foot to prevent him as Henson pounded the mat 3 times, giving the win to Cena and Liddell.

Match Time: 13:49

HTM: "No way! No way! That was bullshit"!

J.R.: "Oh calm down! Tito Ortiz tried to cheat and it didn't work! And now, Stephanie McMahon can head to the back and stay there"!

Lawler: "First Taz and now Stephanie McMahon! This is horrible"!

MONEY MIKE TRIED TO CONSOLE STEPHANIE, WHO HAD HER HANDS OVER HER FACE AND SHE WAS IN TEARS.

Cole: "This match could have repercussions on the TWF for years to come! What is Money Mike gonna do without Stephanie"!

"MY TIME IS NOW" PLAYED AGAIN AS CENA AND LIDDELL POSED IN THE RING FOR THE CHEERING CROWD. MONEY MIKE AND TITO ORTIZ BEGAN TO LEAD A SHOCKED STEPHANIE McMAHON UP THE RAMP BUT FINALLY, SHE FORCED MIKE OFF OF HER AND RAN UP THE RAMP IN TEARS.

AN INCREDIBLY LOUD CHANT OF "NAH, NAH, NAH, NAH...... NAH, NAH, NAH, NAH..... HEY, HEY, HEY...... GOODBYE" WAS HEARD AND BOTH MONEY MIKE AND TITO ORTIZ YELLED AT THE FANS TO SHUT UP. IN THE RING, CENA AND LIDDELL WERE LOVING IT.

J.R.: "Ya know, I could be wrong, but it sounds to me like this crowd has wanted to say that for a very, very long time"!

HTM: "Well it just shows how ignorant they all are! This is a tragedy"!

Lawler: "Finally the Honky Tonk Man and I agree on something, but there's nothing we can do about it"!

CENA AND LIDDELL LEFT THE RING BEFORE GOING OVER AND HIGH-FIVING DANA WHITE, WHO WAS ALL SMILES.

Cole: "And imagine the relief that man is feeling! He rolled the dice and it paid off! What a win for John Cena and Chuck Liddell..... but it's also a big victory for the entire UFC"!

BACKSTAGE AREA........

IN THE BACK, LENA YADA IS WITH JOE COREY AND PAUL HEYMAN.

Lena Yada: "Joe Corey, up next, you have your shot at not only becoming the Universal champion, but also doing it in the main event at WrestleMania".

Paul Heyman: "Allow me to address that on behalf of my client, if you don't mind. Ya see, Lena, Mr. Corey hasn't lost sight of the huge oppurtunity in front of him tonight, as well as the huge stay he has it on. But no offense to you or anyone else, my client is much bigger than any of this. He was born to perform at the highest level this industry has to offer and he was born to be one thing....... champion".

JUST AS COREY AND HEYMAN ARE ABOUT TO WALK AWAY, SYLVESTER TERKAY COMES UP WITH THE ECW WORLD TITLE SLUNG OVER HIS SHOULDER. COREY AND TERKAY THEN SHAKE HANDS.

Joe Corey: "Nice.... I like it. And here in a minute, I'll have one to match it".

COREY AND HEYMAN WALK OFF, IN THE DIRECTION OF THE RING AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO MICHAEL COLE AND THE HONKY TONK MAN AT THE PRIMETIME BROADCAST POSITION.

Cole: "We are just moments away from one of the biggest main events this event has ever seen. The Show challenging the Rated R Superstar for the Universal title".

HTM: "Arguably the top two superstars in this business right now.... it's too tough to call".

Cole: "Let's take a look at what has led to this match".

"LIGHT IT UP" BY REV THEORY INTROS A VIDEO PACKAGE SHOWING THE BUILDUP TO THE EDGE-JOE COREY MATCH. IT STARTS WITH JOE COREY BECOMING THE 2008 KING OF THE RING, EARNING A TITLE SHOT. FROM THERE, EDGE IS SHOWN COSTING COREY THE ECW WORLD TITLE AGAINST CHAOS WOLF. THAT LEADS TO SOUNDBYTES OF SOME OF THE WORDS THE TWO MEN HAVE HAD FOR EACH OTHER AND CONCLUDES JUST AS THE SONG DOES, WITH THE TWO MEN FACE TO FACE IN A COLD STARE.

THE SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON THE ECW ENTRANCE AND BOOS ARE ALREADY FLOWING THROUGH RELIANT STADIUM WHEN "MISERIA CANTARE" KICKS UP. PAUL HEYMAN STEPS OUT AND ABOUT 5 SECONDS LATER, HE IS FOLLOWED BY JOE COREY.

Cole: "This mega event will end with this mega-match. Joe Corey has never had a one one one shot for the Universal title, and he looks better than ever".

HTM: "Can you imagine how hard this man has been training for this match? Like him or not, Michael, he eats, sleeps and breathes to be the best that there is and it's hard to argue that he is just that".

Cole: "There is only one thing that has eluded him and prevented him from calling himself just that, but tonight is his chance to take that crown jewel".

AFTER A BRIEF PAUSE, "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE PLAYS NEXT AND EDGE BURSTS THROUGH A CLOUD OF SMOKE IN THE ENTRANCE WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. AFTER RILING UP THE CROWD, HE HEADS TO THE RING WITH A VERY CONFIDENT LOOK ON HIS FACE.

HTM: "But it won't come easy! This man has dreamed of main eventing this event since he was a kid, and he told me earlier today that no one is going to take this from him"!

Cole: "It's a tough spot for the fans to be in. I mean, who do they root for here"?

HTM: "It's a great spot for the true wrestling fan to be in. WrestleMania is about being the best and whether they're liked by the fans or not, we're about to see who is the best"!

Cole: "Referee Mike Chioda will be in charge of this one and the first man to earn a decision walks away with the gold"!

TWF Universal Title Match

Challenger: "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Paul Heyman vs. Edge

After the bell sounded, the two men circled one another, looking for their spot. They locked up and struggled for position. Corey tried to throw the champion into the corner but Edge countered and then ran in but Corey caught him with a back elbow before drilling him with a clothesline. But when Corey pulled Edge up, he went for a snap suplex and hit it, but he was very slow to get up. Corey got up and hobbled around the ring, grabbing his right leg in plenty of pain. Heyman tried to find out what was wrong, but Corey tried to play it off. Like a pirahna, Edge came from behind with a chop block and like the ring veteran he is, he worked on that right knee, pulling and twisting it in several awkward positions. Corey tried to fight his way out of the predicament, but Edge was relentless with his attack. He went outside the ring and then pulled Corey to the corner, wrapping his leg around the steel post. Despite a warning from Chioda, Edge did it a second time. Edge then got back into the ring and hit a shinbreaker before pulling Corey right into the "Edge-a-cution". He went for the cover, hooking the leg, but Corey was up at 2. Heyman yelled for Corey to do something, but he was in a ton of trouble. Edge delivered a flapjack after getting Corey on his shoulders before going into the corner, getting ready for the spear. Corey got to his feet and Edge charged in, but somehow, Corey got out of the way. Edge slammed into the corner and Corey grabbed him in a sleeper hold from behind. It was a very smart move for the challenger, and he had it in deep. Edge was slowly fading and the crowd couldn't believe it. Chioda moved in to check the arms of Edge and dropped the right arm twice. When he tried to drop it a third time, Edge kept it up, hanging in. Corey released the hold and hammered Edge twice in the back. He then delivered a backdrop suplex, but even that hurt his knee. Edge was to his feet first and he popped Corey with 2 right hands. He then whipped him to the corner and ran in but Corey again got out of the way and then delivered an impaler DDT of his own. He went for the cover, but Edge got his foot on the bottom rope at the count of 2. Corey got to his feet and pulled Edge up but after sweeping Corey's arms out, Edge hit him with a big DDT. He then moved into position to lock in the figure four, grabbing Corey's right leg. Heyman saw this coming and got up on the apron to distract Chioda. As Edge was trying to turn into the hold, Corey came up with a small package and he had the match won! The crowd made the count of 4 but Heyman inadvertently had Chioda's attention. Chioda finally turned to make the count, but Edge was up at 2! Both men got to their feet and Corey whipped Edge to the ropes but after ducking a clothesline, Edge got in a dropkick to the injured knee before rolling Corey up for the 1..........2.........., but that was all he could get. Both men got up and Corey kicked him in the gut before loading him up for the "Showstopper". But he couldn't put pressure on the knee and after countering with a backdrop, Edge ran the ropes and then slammed into Corey with the spear..... hooking the leg for the dramatic 1...........2.........3!

Match Time: 6:56

Cole: "And that's it! Edge has retained the title"!

EDGE QUICKLY ROLLED OUT OF THE RING AS CHIODA RAN THE TITLE OVER TO HIM. COREY HAD A DISGUSTED LOOK ON HIS FACE WHILE HE SAT IN THE RING.

HTM: "A huge win for Edge but what a heartbreaking loss for Corey.... this is awful".

Cole: "And you can't help but place some of the blame on his very own agent, Paul Heyman! Sure he had a bum knee, but he had the match won"!

"METALINGUS" PLAYED AS EDGE WALKED UP THE LONG RAMP WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE HELD HIGH IN THE AIR. MOMENTS LATER, A HUGE FIREWORKS DISPLAY POUNDED OFF.

HTM: "A costly, costly mistake by Paul Heyman, but let's give credit where credit is due.... Edge won the match"!

Cole: "The Rated R Superstar has won the night here in Houston at WrestleMania 9! We hope you've all enjoyed this huge show..... we'll see ya next time"!
