Delta Center

Salt Lake City, Utah

Attendance: 17,241

June 27, 2004

As the cameras start rolling, the Uprising logo is shown and it's theme music is playing as Idalis is shown standing outside the Delta Center with Sable and they are among thousands of fans waiting to get in.

Idalis: "Tonight the stars of TWF PrimeTime have made the trek to Salt Lake City for TWF Payback and we are live right outside the Delta Center! I am Idalis and with me is my special guest tonight, Sable! Now tell me Sable, how far would you go to get something you felt was owed to you"?

Sable: "Well Idalis, I don't think I should get into specifics but let's just say that this kitty has claws".

Idalis: "Tonight that's what it's all about... it's all about payback, take a look".

A MONTAGE VIDEO RUNS FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES BUILDING UP TONIGHT's EVENT THROUGH A SERIES OF EVENTS THAT HAVE LED TO EACH MATCH THAT IS ON THE CARD.

Sable: "Now I know all of you out there want to see the Nature Boy Ric Flair show Strife who the man is, so don't waste any more time, call now and order Payback".

Idalis: "The fans out here don't seem to agree with that assumption Sable but you are right about one thing, time is running out on your chance to order so call your local cable or satellite provider now! And at this time folks, we are gonna send it over to the voices of PrimeTime, Michael Cole and Jesse the Body Ventura who are inside the arena"!

MICHAEL COLE AND JESSE VENTURA ARE SHOWN AT THE ANNOUNCE POSITION.

Michael Cole: "Thank you Idalis and Jesse, I am ready. We are about to witness what could be one of the most emotional events in recent TWF history as there is a lot on the line tonight"!

Jesse Ventura: "You got it Michael. Tonight it's not so much about title belts, but pride, honor and getting back"!

THE MUSIC OF THE CHOSEN HITS AND LOW-KI MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO A LOT OF BOOS.

Cole: "We're starting things off with a match here on Uprising between Low-Ki and Tajiri and Jesse, we've seen Low-Ki attack Tajiri at almost any chance he's gotten lately".

Ventura: "It all goes back to when Tajiri got a win over Low-Ki on PrimeTime and tonight Ki has a chance to avenge that loss"!

TAJIRI's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A MUCH BETTER RESPONSE.

Cole: "Well here comes the Japanese Buzzsaw and later tonight, the leader of The Chosen Chris Daniels will get his shot against former Chosen member Shane Thompson. Where do you think Low-Ki's loyalties lie as it relates to that match Jesse"?

Ventura: "I think that has already been answered Michael and that is why I predict that we will see a new Intercontinental champion here tonight".

Cole: "No titles on the line here but like you mentioned earlier, a lot of these matches are not about title implications and that is the case here".

Tajiri vs. Low-Ki

This match set the tone for the rest of the night and is sure to get a Match of the Month nomination. Early into the match, one of Tajiri's kicks busted Low-Ki open and it looked like it was gonna be a quick finish. But Low-Ki hung in and fought back, taking it to Tajiri which impressed those watching. He hit his cartwheel kick in the corner and set Tajiri up for the "Ki Krush Driver" but Tajiri misted Low-Ki, forcing him to let go. The mist was red in color and the ref could not decipher it from the blood. But after hitting the ropes, Tajiri was clipped with a spinning heel kick by a nearly blinded Low-Ki. Low-Ki then cinched him up for a german suplex but Tajiri flipped out of it and busted Low-Ki in the mouth with a savat kick when he turned around. That led to the Buzzsaw Kick to the side of the head and Tajiri grabbed the victory.

Match Time: 7:30

Cole: "What a way to kick off the night and maybe Tajiri has extinguished his problem known as Low-Ki"!

Ventura: "That was one hell of a match Michael, I could watch that another ten times"!

Cole: "Well I can gaurantee that it won't be the end of matches just like it to fans, this is your last chance, don't miss TWF Payback.... it's coming up next"!

THE SHOT FADES OUT.

THE TWF ENTERTAINMENT LOGO APPEARS FOLLOWED BY THE LEGAL DISCLAIMER CONTAINING THE COPYRIGHT WARNING INFORMATION.

THE DELTA CENTER COMES INTO THE SHOT ONCE AGAIN AND PYRO AND FIREWORKS IGNITE, PROMPTING THE FANS TO SCREAM WILDLY.

Michael Cole: "Once again, TWF PrimeTime is ready to show the world how pay-per0view is done and what an event this is gonna be Jesse"!

Ventura: "Payback was a huge success for PrimeTime last year and I don't expect it to be any different tonight"!

THE MUSIC OF WAR ON AMERICA HITS AND ARIES AND HIROHITO COME OUT, ESCORTED BY ABOUT 10 UNIFORMED POLICEMEN.

THE CAMERA SHOWS THE UNITED STATES FLAG AND THE BLACK FLAG OF WAR ON AMERICA HUNG ABOVE THE RING.

Cole: "There are over seventeen thousand people here tonight Jesse and I think every one of them wants to see these two lose! They have a police escort for a reason tonight"!

Ventura: "You can include me in the group of people who want to see them lose but I have to inform the fans watching that before we came out here tonight, Raven made me sign a form promising I would not get involved in this matter in any way, shape or form and Michael, it's gonna be tough but I'll have to do it"!

"TNT" BY AC/DC BLARES AND THE TANDEM OF CHRIS TIRPAK AND RICK CLARK COME OUT TO A HUGE REACTION.

Cole: "Well I like ya right here as my broadcast partner so let's let these two handle it tonight! This is going to be a tag team flag match and to my knowledge, it will be the first of those in TWF history".

Ventura: "There is a ladder on each side of the ring and the first member of one team to climb up and grab his opponents flag will win it"!

Cole: "It's just sickening to see that black flag hanging up there, this close to Independence Day"!

Ventura: "Well once either Tirpak or Clark goes up and gets it, I think they'll show this entire crowd what they think of that black flag"!

Flag Match

War on America vs. Chris Tirpak and Rick Clark

With tag rules not in effect, the bell sounded with all 4 men in the ring. Brian Hebner worked as the inside referee and just to keep things in order, rookie referee Chris Kay manned the outside. Tirpak paired off with Aries and Hirohito went at it with Clark. The fan favorites quickly took over and after a backbody drop by Tirpak on Aries, Clark clotheslined Hirohito out of the ring. They then picked Aries up for a double suplex and Tirpak bounced off the ropes, dropping a leg across his throat. But when Clark hit the ropes, Hirohito tripped him up. He then grabbed a steel chair and brought it into the ring, driving it into Tirpak's rib cage. Aries then pulled Clark to his feet for a Canadian backbreaker before he and Hirohito worked Tirpak in the corner. Off a snapmare, Hirohito twisted Tirpak's neck very awkwardly and ignored Hebner's orders to break the hold. Tirpak was in a lot of pain but Clark blocked a right hand from Aries and knocked him to the mat with a headbutt. Hirohito broke the hold and came at him but Clark kicked him right in the face with his combat style boot. He then went and got one of the ladders and slid it into the ring. Clark set the ladder up and began climbing it, looking to grab the black flag. But Aries got a running start and ran into the ladder, knocking Clark to the mat. He then pulled Tirpak in for a DDT but Tirpak countered and threw him right into the steel ladder. Hirohito came over with a quick kick to the gut followed by a thrust chop to the throat before setting the ladder up and climbing it. But halfway up, Tirpak got to his feet and got Hirohito onto his shoulders. Hirohito tried to punch his way out of the predicament but Clark came off the ladder with a clothesline takedown that drew a huge pop from the crowd. Tirpak then started to climb the ladder but Aries came from behind with a chair shot to the back before tipping the ladder over. But after clotheslining Clark, Aries set the ladder back up and began climbing it. But Clark rolled outside the ring and grabbed the other ladder, bringing it into the ring and using it as a battering ram to knock Aries off his. Tirpak went to set up his ladder but Hirohito threw a chair right in his face, much like the legendary Sabu once did. Hirohito then arranged the ladders and Aries came off the middle turnbuckle, stomping on the ladder which created a seesaw effect and caught Tirpak right in the face. Tirpak was out of it as Hirohito kicked him under the ropes and to the floor. But when he turned around, Clark took him out of the ring with a superkick to the face. Aries and Clark traded shots until Aries kicked him in the groin and DDT'ed him right on the ladder. He then rolled out of the ring and pulled out a table. the crowd was very anxious to see what he had planned as he set it up. But before he could do anything, Clark smashed him with a chair shot over the head. Slowly, Clark set the ladder up and began climbing. It looked like he was gonna get the black flag but just when he was about to, Aries reached into his pocket and threw a powdery substance in his eyes! Clark fought to regain his eyesight but Aries climbed up the other side of the ladder and pushed Clark off, right through the table! Splinters of wood were scattered all over the ring and Aries reached up, pulling down the American flag. As War on America's music played, Aries broke the flag over his knee and threw it to the mat.

Match Time: 9:46

Cole: "I don't wanna believe what I am seeing"!

Ventura: "That son of a bitch broke the flag! I'm about to break my agreement Michael"!

CLARK AND TIRPAK WERE DOWN IN THE RING AND BLOOD STREAMED FROM TIRPAK's HEAD.

THE FANS BOOED AS ARIES AND HIROHITO WALKED UP THE RAMP, HIROHITO WAVING THEIR BLACK FLAG.

Cole: "Sit down Jesse.... it's not worth it"!

Ventura: "Put that damn flag down"!

Cole: "War on America has won the flag match and that flag which symbolizes their hatred is waving"!

Ventura: "What a lousy way to start this show Michael! I hope none of these fans are going up for refunds"!

BACKSTAGE.....

IDALIS IS SHOWN WITH ROB VAN DAM, WHO HAS THE UNIVERSAL TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER.

Idalis: "Rob, later tonight, you face a much different challenge than you are used to when you battle the Ultimo Dragon. Your thoughts"?

Rob Van Dam: "Well Idalis, I have a lot of respect for the Dragon and I don't.....

JUST THEN, JAMIE NOBLE COMES UP.

Sorry dude, all the other kids are out at recess".

Jamie Noble: "Ha ha, very funny. We'll see how funny you are if you ever give me the shot I earned at that there title.

RVD GIVES HIM A WEIRD LOOK.

Yeah you heard me. If not for that chump Dark Prince, I would've won that battle royale. Sooner of later RVD, you're gonna have to.......

JUST THEN, NOBLE's EYES GET VERY LARGE AND HE RUNS IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS CAMERAS SHOW THE DARK PRINCE COMING.

CAMERAS FOLLOW NOBLE WHO EXITS THE DELAT CENTER AND HOPS INTO A WHITE VEHICLE WHICH IS IN THE PARKING GARAGE AND DRIVES OFF.

THE CROWD INSIDE THE ARENA IS LAUGHING BUT THE PRINCE SEEMS VERY SERIOUS.

Cole: (laughing) "I love how Noble acts like he's not scared".

Ventura: "That was a conversation between Noble and RVD, the Dark Prince had no business getting involved".

RENE DUPREE's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT WAVING THE FRENCH FLAG.

Cole: "Trust me folks, this is not an anti-American event here in Salt Lake City but here comes Rene Dupree, proudly waving that French flag"!

Ventura: "Okay Michael, I'm with ya on the hatred towards Aries and Hirohito but that was an ignorant comment. This man is a young French superstar who is proud of his homeland. There is no reason to associate him being anti-American"!

Cole: "This was one of the last minute editions to this card but there is a lot of heat between the two men involved. Shortly after being traded to PrimeTime, Rene Dupree learned that Edge had signed back with the TWF and in his words, did so to steal his thunder".

"YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME" IS HEARD AND THE CROWD BEGINS TO CHEER LOUDLY AS SMOKE FILLS THE ENTRY WAY AND "NEVER GONNA STOP" BY ROB ZOMBIE HITS, BRINGING OUT EDGE WHO IS WEARING DARK SHADES AND HIS LONG BLACK COAT TO A HUGE POP.

Ventura: "These two have been at it ever since Edge showed up here on PrimeTime but I think Dupree is gonna have all the thunder after this match Michael! This is going to be somewhat of a coming out party for him as he moves to the forefront of PrimeTime"!

Cole: "Well considering Dupree's age, there is no doubt he'll be a star here for years to come. But I believe that tonight, the veteran experience that Edge has, combined with a crowd squarely behind him is gonna lead to victory"!

Rene Dupree vs. Edge

The bell sounded and the two men locked up, jockeying for position. Referee Mike Enos was assigned the match and he tried to get between the two men to create a break but Dupree used it as an oppurtunity to poke Edge in the eye. Dupree then became very aggressive, swinging away with some overhand rights before kicking Edge right in the gut. After a vertical suplex, Dupree made a cover but Edge was up at 2. Dupree locked in a side headlock to slow down the pace but Edge got to his feet and elbowed his way out of the hold. He then hit the ropes after creating seperation but Dupree was waiting with a knee to the gut. Dupree then used a snap mare followed by the old Mr. Perfect somersault neckbreaker. He then went into his "French Tickler" dance that really drew some heat. Dupree pulled Edge up but Edge showed he was still very much alive with 3 shots to the midsection. He then hit the ropes and avoided a clothesline before catching Dupree on the button with a dropkick. Edge was getting into a groove but Dupree caught him charging in with a big spinebuster to get a 1........2........, but that was it. Dupree complained about the count but Enos didn't budge. Dupree then stuck Edge up on the top rope, looking for a superplex. But as he climbed up, Edge caught him with some right hands that made him teeter back before taking his head and ramming it into the turnbuckle pad. Edge then used a sunset flip powerbomb that made the ring shook and the crowd come to their feet but he did not have enough to make the cover. Both men were to their feet and Edge blocked a right hand, throwing Dupree to the ropes for a backbody drop. Edge had collected a head of steam and nailed consecutive clotheslines before going to the top rope, looking for a missile dropkick. But an alert Dupree avoided it and Edge landed hard on the mat. Dupree then tried to pull a fast one, stacking Edge up in the corner and draping his feet over the ropes for leverage. But Enos saw this and stopped the count at 2. Dupree was in Enos' face creating an argument reminiscent of a baseball manager and an umpire. This allowed Edge to recover, although he played possum somewhat and Dupree turned and grabbed him, looking for an irish whip. But Edge held onto his arm and swung him right into the "Edge-a-cution", hooking the leg for the 1.......2.........3.

Match Time: 7:19

Cole: "There it is! Edge has gotten a huge win here at Payback"!

"NEVER GONNA STOP" PLAYED AND FINALLY, THE CROWD HAD SOMETHING TO CHEER ABOUT IT.

Ventura: "This crowd loves it Michael but I can't say I do! Rene Dupree had a three count and this referee just stopped counting"!

Cole: "Yeah, cause his feet were on the ropes"!

EDGE WAS SHOWN LEAVING WITH A HUGE SMILE ON HIS FACE AS DUPREE TRIED TO GET UP.

Ventura: "Well I didn't see that.... I think Dupree was cheated"!

Cole: "Well I'm sitting next to you and I saw it clear as day! The right man won the match"!

Ventura: "It's only about a quarter of the way through this event and I'm all hot under the collar Cole"!

Cole: "Well later tonight, we will see a battle of former tag team champions but more importantly, a battle of one time great friends.... take a look".

A VIDEO PACKAGE BUILDING UP TONIGHT's MATCH BETWEEN JORDAN ROCKWELL AND RHYNO IS SHOWN. THE SHOT THEN GOES BACKSTAGE.

BACKSTAGE AREA......

The shot opens in an unknown part of the backstage area when the fans cheer as Jordan Rockwell is shown in his long black leather coat and dark sunglasses.

Jordan Rockwell: Hello Rhyno, I know you didn't expect to see me on PrimeTime, hell, you didn't expect to see me ever again but ya see, I just had to come back, yes I just had to! Cause they won't let me go .......(pauses) and they won't let me sleep! They won't let me be till I cause you harm. You have to understand that I have no choice in the fact that I must hurt you and badly because they demand it of me and what they demand I can not resist and their power over me.... who are they? They are............ the people.

The fans inside the arena cheer.

Rhyno I have no choice and it's your fault, you brought me to where I am right now and I must act on the desires of my people and I will act on it here tonight in a stretcher match.... I will make you suffer. Ventura was right, you shoulda gored me last PrimeTime when you had the chance and you shoulda finished the job you started, you shoulda killed me! Cause tonight, they will be done! Tonight win, lose or draw, I swear to god you will not walk out of this arena".

The camera backs up revealing that Rockwell is in front of an ambulance in the parking garage.

Cole: "Oh my gosh.... what has Rhyno gotten himself into"?

Ventura: "Rockwell says he's gonna destroy Rhyno for these people and they love it! They're all bloodthirsty in Salt Lake Cole"!

THE LEGENDARY MUSIC OF RIC FLAIR HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A MIXED RESPONSE BUT CHEERS OF RESPECT WERE HEARD.

Cole: "And here comes the multi-time World's champion, a name recognized across the globe.... Ric Flair"!

Ventura: "You got that one right Michael, the Nature Boy is truly one of a kind and he may not have what he used to, but he still has a lot up his sleeve".

"GET OFF MY TRACKS" KICKS UP AND A TRAIN RUMBLES ACROSS SOME TRACKS ON THE PRIMETRON AS STRIFE COMES OUT TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST POPS ALL NIGHT.

Cole: "Strife I'm sure knows all too well that Flair is known as the dirtiest player in the game but is Flair really ready to face this seven foot, nearly four hundred pound beast"?

Ventura: "Flair has beaten men bigger than the Locomotive Michael and I'm sure he's not the least bit intimidated"!

Cole: "This one all got started when Strife, who was traded to PrimeTime, was told if he stayed out of his and his friends' way, he'd be just fine".

Ventura: "But he couldn't leave it at that Michael. He claims that this territory is his but I think he's quickly gonna find differently"!

Cole: "It's his tracks Jesse, his tracks".

Ric Flair vs. Strife

Right as the bell sounded, Randy Orton came down to ringside to cheer on his good pal Flair. Flair avoided the lockup with Strife and instead tried to bait him into the corner. Strife went for it but Flair stuck his head through the ring ropes and referee Chris Kay forced Strife to back away. When Strife moved back in, Flair kicked him in the kneecap and then teed off with some knifedge chops. But Strife took 3 of them and cracked a smile, forcing Flair to drop down to one knee begging for mercy. But Strife pulled him up and launched him across the ring with a beal. He then whipped him to the ropes and went for a big boot but Flair grabbed the top rope to put on the breaks. Flair then ducked a clothesline and hit the ropes on the far side but Strife picked him up in a gorilla press slam and dumped him on the mat. Strife followed that up with a big legdrop which got a 1.........2........, but Flair was up. This was the makings of what many thought was the best match all night. Moments later, Strife dropped his head down too soon off an irish whip and Flair grabbed him in a side headlock, driving several knuckle laced right hands into his forehead. Flair then hammered away at the seven foot frame of Strife with his trademark knifegde chops and some stiff right hands. After doing his famous strut, Flair went to work at the knees of Strife but Strife continued to fight back, even on the mat. He got to his feet and grabbed Flair in a waistlock but Orton got on the apron, distracting Kay while Flair used a mule kick followed by a blatant lowblow. He then hit the ropes and used a double thrust to the throat to knock Strife down and he followed that with a well placed kneedrop on the head. He went for a cover but Strife was up. Amazingly, it was Flair who was dictating the flow of the match, not the other way around and he continued to work on the legs of the big man. Orton continually interjected himself to allow Flair to bend the rules and Strife was in some trouble. Finally, the Nature Boy decided it was time to go for the Figure Four but when he spun around, Strife used his foot to push Flair off. Flair got up and fired back at him with some right hands but Strife just shook it off and kicked him right in the face. Orton got on the apron but Strife drilled him with a right hand that knocked him to the floor. He then sized Flair up for a gutwrench suplex but Flair slipped off his shoulders and kicked him in the back of the right leg he'd been working on. He then hit the ropes but Strife turned and kicked him in the gut before lifting him up for the "Wrong Desination". He fell onto Flair as Kay got down to make the 1......2......., but before he could get 3, Orton came in with a double sledge to break up the fall and Kay asked for the bell, disqualifying Flair.

Match Time: 15:27

Cole: "Ring the damn bell! What the hell is Orton thinking"!

Ventura: "He may've cost Flair the match but look at this Michael".

ORTON AND FLAIR BEGAN TO BEAT DOWN STRIFE AND BATISTA CAME OUT TO HELP. BUT MOMENTS LATER, FANS WERE STUNNED AND THRILLED AT THE SAME TIME WHEN "BOMBSHELL" BY POD HIT AND BAHAMUT CAME OUT, RUNNING TO THE RING.

Cole: "Look at this! What is Bahamut doing"?!

BAHAMUT HIT THE RING AND TOOK OUT FLAIR, ORTON AND BATISTA ALL WITH CLOTHESLINES, CLEARING THE RING. HE THEN TURNED AND LOOKED AT STRIFE WHO WAS EQUALLY SURPRISED AS THE FANS WENT BERSERK.

Ventura: "What is this guy doing? Does he know what he just got himself into"?

Cole: "It's been some time since we've seen Bahamut on PrimeTime and who would've thought we'd see him come to the rescue of his former tag team partner but also, his former enemy"!

Ventura: "Big things are happening tonight Michael but I never saw this one coming"!

Cole: "Who did"?

BACKSTAGE......

RAVEN IS WALKING BACKSTAGE WHEN MR. VAIN COMES FROM AROUND A CORNER.

Mr. Vain: "Raven..... oh glad I caught you now".

Raven: "How can I help you"?

Vain: "Well, I've decided that if I'm gonna go out, I'm gonna go out like I would've in M.O.W. So I want my match with Wakeman to be falls count anywhere".

Raven: "Hmmm, yeah, I guess the Board of Directors will go for that. But there's one match they've decided they won't go for and that is what I'm on my way to stop".

Vain: "What do you mean"?

Raven: "Just watch.... oh and don't worry, I expect to see you next week on PrimeTime".

BACK IN THE ARENA, RHYNO's MUSIC IS PLAYING AND HE IS COMING TO THE RING TO ALL BOOS.

Cole: "That pretty much says Raven is confident that Mr. Vain will beat Travis Wakeman later tonight but right now, this is the first of a few huge matchups we have here tonight as we are about to witness a battle between two men who were once best of friends and tag team champions Jesse".

Ventura: "And not only that, it's gonna be a stretcher match, the first of it's kind in the TWF"!

"BACK IN BLACK" BY AC/DC HITS AND JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT, SPORTING HIS NEW LOOK.

Cole: "Well tonight it's about a little bit more than Payback as far as Jordan Rockwell is concerned. Rhyno and the Million Dollar Corporation made no secret that they were trying to end his career several weeks ago with their savage attack on him and tonight, a stetcher might be the fitting piece of equipment for Rhyno to leave on"!

"END OF EVERYTHING" BY STEREOMUD HITS AND RAVEN COMES OUT TO THE LOUDEST HEAT ALL NIGHT.

Ventura: "Well it looks like we're gonna hear from our acting Enforcer here on PrimeTime first".

Raven: "Hold it right there! Before this match starts, there is something I must announce. I have been under a lot of scrutiny from the Board of Directors for making this match a stretcher match and they have informed me that they will not sanction one in any form"!

Cole: "What?! That doesn't sound like our Board of Directors"!

Raven: "Now this match will still take place, it will just be under regular match rules.... ring the bell"!

RAVEN WALKS BACKSTAGE AS THE BELL SOUNDS.

Cole: "I can't believe this and if I'm Rhyno, I'm loving that decision"!

Ventura: "I don't know why you're insinuating that Rhyno doesn't want that match Michael..... he may not like the decision either"!

Cole: "Oh look out"!

WITH HIS COAT STILL ON, ROCKWELL TURNED AND TACKLED RHYNO, SMASHING HIM WITH A FURY OF RIGHT HANDS.

Rhyno vs. Jordan Rockwell

Rockwell was all over Rhyno early on and referee Brian Hebner looked to have his hands full. Rockwell removed his coat and threw it at Rhyno before pounding him with some more right hands and then some back elbows in the corner. Rockwell did not seem like he wanted to wrestle, but rather to fight. After catching Rhyno with a powerslam off an irish whip, he slipped out of the ring and grabbed the chair that the timekeeper was sitting in. But before he could bring it in, Hebner threatened to DQ him. Rockwell turned and tossed the chair away but when he got into the ring, Rhyno charged at him with a knee to the side of the ribs followed by a big DDT. Rhyno then hit the ropes and went for a big splash but Rockwell moved and then kicked him in the midsection, scoring a DDT of his own. Rockwell then got up and looked into the crowd with a sadistic look on his face before pulling Rhyno up and throwing him left shoulder first into the steel ring post. He followed that up with a backdrop suplex but showed no interest in pinning Rhyno. He whipped him to the corner and hit a clothesline before bouncing off the ropes but Rhyno countered with a spinebuster that changed the complexion of the match. Rhyno pulled Rockwell up and went for a belly to belly suplex but Rockwell blocked it and then grabbed Rhyno's right arm, taking him to the mat and locking in the Crossface. Rockwell had it cinched in deep but fortunately for the manbeast, he was right by the ropes and had the presence of mind to grab them. Rockwell was forced to break the hold and he pulled Rhyno up, shooting him to the ropes but Rhyno ducked a clothesline and came off the other side with a diving headbutt to the midsection. Rhyno then whipped Rockwell to the ropes and went for a clothesline of his own but Rockwell countered it with a go behind and hit a german suplex with a bridge as Hebner made the 1.........2.........3 count.

Match Time: 9:20

"BACK IN BLACK" PLAYED AGAIN AND HEBNER HELD UP ROCKWELL's ARM.

Cole: "It may not have been the way he wanted it, but it's a win nonetheless for Rockwell!

JUST THEN, RAVEN COMES BACK OUT ON STAGE.

Wait a minute".

Raven: "Hey! Hold on a minute! Brian Hebner..... do you even know what you're doing? I want you to take a look at something".

THE REPLAY OF THE END OF THE MATCH IS SHOWN.

Ventura: "Did you see that? Rhyno's shoulder was up".

Cole: "What"?!

Raven: "Do you need to see it again?

THE REPLAY IS SHOWN AGAIN.

That's right..... Rhyno had a shoulder up but Rockwell..... you didn't. So I have to let you know that the winner of this match..... is Rhyno"!

THE CROWD STARTS TO POUR BOOS OUT.

Cole: "You've gotta be kidding! First Raven takes the stretcher match out and now he's taken a win away from Rockwell"!

RAVEN WALKS BACKSTAGE AS ROCKWELL IS SEETHING.

Ventura: "Are you gonna argue what you saw on that tape Michael"?

Cole: "Wait a damn minute"!

WHEN ROCKWELL TURNED BACK, RHYNO SMASHED HIM WITH THE "GORE" AND BERATED HIM WITH SOME HARSH WORDS AS HIS MUSIC HIT AND HE LEFT TO SOME SERIOUS HEAT.

Ventura: "There ya go Rhyno.... show him who the real winner is"!

Cole: "The real winner? He snuck up on him from behind! He had to have our corrupt acting Enforcer give him the win"!

Ventura: "I'm gonna call Raven back out to show that tape Michael.... open your eyes"!

Cole: "Well one thing is for sure, this definitely didn't go as Rockwell had planned".

BACKSTAGE..... T. WAKEMAN's DRESSING ROOM......

TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SHOWN TAPING HIS WRISTS IN HIS DRESSING ROOM WHEN THERE IS A KNOCK ON THE DOOR.

Travis Wakeman: "You don't have to knock Trish.... just come in".

THE DOOR OPENS BUT IT IS DAWN MARIE, WEARING A VERY SKIMPY OUTFIT.

Dawn Marie: "Oh it's not Trish".

WAKEMAN TURNS AROUND

Wakeman: "What the......

Dawn Marie: "Shhh, no need to make a lot of noise. I just wanted to stop by and tell you that if Mr. Vain is to lose to you tonight, I might be able to show you a thing or two about the beauty of wrestling, if you know what I mean".

Wakeman: "Ya know Dawn, I have one focus tonight and that is to put Mr. Vain out of the TWF. And when I do, I sure as hell won't be going to you.... for anything".

Dawn Marie: "Pssssh".

DAWN WALKS AWAY, LEAVING THE DOOR OPEN AS WAKEMAN THROWS HIS ROLL OF TAPE ON THE GROUND IN DISGUST.

IN ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA.....

DYLAN JANSENS IS SHOWN WITH REY MYSTERIO IN A LONG HALLWAY.

Rey Mysterio: "This is it man... time to go get that title... good luck man".

Dylan Jansens: "Ya know Rey, no one thinks I have a chance to win this match because they don't think I can be hardcore..... well they're in for a surprise".

THE 2 MEN KNOCKS FISTS AND REY IS SHOWN SMILING AS D.J. WALKS OFF.

BACK INSIDE THE ARENA, "DO YOU CALL MY NAME" BY RA PLAYS AND AXL IRVIN STEPS OUT.

Cole: "Well Jesse, after looking over the card before this event got started, I circled this match as one that could be one we remember for awhile".

Ventura: "You can only see hardcore action on PrimeTime and we're gonna see two guys who will be looking to win their first singles title tonight".

Cole: "One of them is this man who isn't fooling anyone with the mask he's been wearing and calling himself El Diablo. But I gotta correct you partner, because Dylan Jansens is a former Lightheavyweight champ".

"OVER MY HEAD" BY LIT TRACK IS HEARD AS A BLACK DRAGON APPEARS ON THE PRIMETRON. THE DRAGON BEGINS TO BREATHE FLAMES AND DYLAN JANSENS COMES OUT TO A BIG POP.

Ventura: "Well he's not under any mask tonight Michael and he also has no love loss for this man".

Cole: "This situation started out between these two men Jesse and who could forget those Axl TV clips wesaw a few weeks ago"? (laughs)

Ventura: "Yeah and tonight would be a great night for Axl to make Jansens pay for those"!

THE FBI's MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS. JOHNNY STAMBOLI HAS THE HARDCORE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST.

Cole: "Johnny Stamboli won the Hardcore title at WrestleMania, lasting through twelve other men to do so and he has been the only champion since the title was brought back Jesse"!

Ventura: "Stamboli just has that hardcore persona about him. The bull is going to be very difficult to beat tonight and frankly, I don't see it happening".

Cole: "As we know, anything goes in this one and the first man to pick up a pinfall or submission will leave with the title"!

Triple Threat/TWF Hardcore Title Match

Dylan Jansens vs. Axl Irvin vs. Johnny Stamboli (c) w/ Guido Maritato

The bell sounded and the 3 men went right into the action, trading shots with each other. But using Guido's advice, Stamboli pulled out of the action early on and let the two challengers beat the heck out of each other. Jansens was able to lift Irvin into the air with a backbody drop but when he turned around, Stamboli caught him with a clothesline. After a scoop slam on Irvin, Stamboli became the first to introduce weapons into the match, taking a singapore cane from Guido. He smashed Irvin across the back with it twice, causing the rookie to cringe in pain. Jansens got up and charged at the bull, driving him into the corner as the cane fell to the mat. Jansens then shot him to the corner and followed in with a monkey flip before catching Irvin with a flying heel kick. But then, Jansens got serious, ready to answer his critics that he was not cut out for the match. He went outside and grabbed a steel chair, throwing it into the ring before reaching under the ring and pulling out a broom. But before he could get into the ring with it, Guido attacked him from behind and drove the broom into his midsection. In the ring, Stamboli picked up Irvin and put him down across the chair which was set up with a sideslam. He made the cover but Irvin was somehow up at 2. Acting as an assistant, Guido tossed Stamboli the broom and he broke it over Irvin's back. He went into the cover and got 1........2......., but Jansens was in just in time to break up the count. Stamboli was up first through and he whipped Jansens into the corner before hammering him with a follow up clothesline. Stamboli then removed the turnbuckle pad, exposing a steel ring and bolt and tried to ram Jansens into it face first. But DJ blocked it by putting his foot up on the middle turnbuckle and then elbowed Stamboli in the face but Irvin charged from behind, using the damaged chair as a chest plate and he ran into both men. Irvin then reached into the front of his pants and a mask fell out. Irvin quickly grabbed it and stuck it back in as Jansens came from behind with a forearm. He then whipped Irvin to the ropes but he put his head down too early and Irvin kicked him right in the face before reaching into the front of his pants again and pulling out a pair of brass knucks. But just as he got them on, Stamboli came with a shuffle kick and drilled Irvin. He then put Jansens down with a spinebuster before stacking the two men on top of each other like firewood. With a running start, Stamboli jumped onto the top turnbuckle and flew off with an amazing reverse guillotine legdrop on both men! The crowd couldn't believe it and they were sure it was over as Stamboli covered Jansens for the 1.........2.........., but he couldn't get 3! Jansens' right arm shot up off the mat just in time. Stamboli grabbed the handle end of the broken broomstick and went to the top rope, looking to finish DJ off. But when he jumped off, Jansens kick him squarely in the chest with a martial arts style kick. He then went to the top rope himself and hit a corkscrew moonsault, hooking the leg for the 1.......2......., but Irvin broke it up. Irvin then picked Jansens up and faceplanted him with a move similar to Steven Richards' Stevie T. But instead of going for the cover, he picked up the bashed in steel chair and waited for DJ to get up. When he did, he swung it but blasted Stamboli when Jansens moved! Stamboli immediately began bleeding as Jansens reeled in Irvin for a t-bone suplex. Guido tried to get into the ring but Jansens beat him to the punch and hit a combo of martial arts moves, finished off by a roundhouse to the side of the head. Stamboli used the ropes to get to his feet, the blood dripping from his forehead. But DJ came up from behind and hoisted him up in the Dragon's Bane torcher rack. There was nowhere for Stamboli to go and no one to save him and he tapped out as referee Mike Enos called for the bell.

Match Time: 12:17

Cole: "What a match! What a match and what a win for Dylan Jansens...... this has to be a huge moment for him"!

ENOS HANDED JANSENS THE HARDCORE TITLE BELT AND THE CROWD WENT WILD AS HE HELD IT HIGH IN THE AIR AND "OVER MY HEAD" PLAYED.

Ventura: "I would've never given him a chance Michael! Now you see why I don't gamble"!

Cole: "This is perhaps the biggest moment in the career of Dylan Jansens to this point! All week long, everyone had been saying that DJ is not hardcore! Well to me, this proves what a famous man always says..... hardcore is not a style.... but a belief"!

BACKSTAGE......

CAMERA's IN THE BACK SHOW BATISTA, RANDY ORTON AND RIC FLAIR DESTROYING THEIR DRESSING ROOM AS SABLE IS DOING HER BEST TO CALM THEM DOWN.

Cole: "Wow, what do you think that's about"?

Ventura: "What do you mean what's that about? Bahamut stuck his nose in their business earlier and they have the right to be upset".

Cole: "Well let's hope they pay for that damage out of their pay. They would if Shane McMahon was here".

Ventura: "Oh, what's the supposed to mean Cole"?

A MAN, COVERED IN SWEAT, IS SHOWN WALKING THROUGH THE DESERT. HE IS MOVING VERY SLOWLY.

Man: "Water..... need water".

SUDDENLY, HE SPOTS WHAT APPEARS TO BE A TABLE WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE A SPORTS DRINK ON IT. HIS EYES LIGHT UP AND HE STARTS TO RUN TO THE TABLE BUT JUST BEFORE HE GETS THERE, HE FALLS TO THE SANDY GROUND, OBVIOUSLY EXHAUSTED.

JUST THEN, TWF SUPERSTAR SHANE THOMPSON ENTERS THE SHOT, TAKING THE DRINK OFF THE TABLE. HE KNEELS DOWN NEAR THE MAN.

Shane Thompson: "Guess you'll just have to try harder next time".

THOMPSON UNSCREWS THE CAP AND POURS THE DRINK DOWN HIS THROAT.

Voice over: "TWF Entertainment and Gatorade present..... MeltDown, live and only on pay-per-view next month".

BACK TO LIVE ACTION, THE MUSIC OF THE CHOSEN IS HEARD AND CLOUDS ROLL IN ON THE PRIMETRON, TURNING BLACK AS CHRISTOPHER DANIELS COMES OUT, FLANKED BY MORTIS AND LOW-KI.

Cole: "MeltDown will be a joint event between RAW and PrimeTime and Jesse, as expected, the rest of The Chosen has stuck with their leader".

Ventura: "Can you blame them Michael? Shane Thompson, even though I like his style, is the one who drove a stake in The Chosen".

"WAITING TO DIE" BY HED BLARES OVER THE SPEAKERS AND SHANE THOMPSON COMES OUT, WEARING THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE. WITH HIM IS THE IMMENSE LUTHER REIGNS.

Cole: "We know that Shane Thompson didn't leave the Chosen to gain fanfare.... he's made that very clear. But what did he do it for"?

Ventura: "Well I believe he feels he's become bigger than this group. He won the Intercontinental title and....

Cole: "He won the title and Daniels didn't seem okay with that. Then they lost at WrestleMania and Daniels suffered a severe neck injury, leaving Thompson to man the ship and....

Ventura: "You interrupted me so I'm gonna interrupt you. Thompson was left to man the ship and the ship sank Michael. Now these two have become enemies and for what I can see.... no reason".

Cole: "The final straw seemed to be when Thompson hired this Luther Reigns to watch his back, rather than turning to his brethren in The Chosen".

Ventura: "Well the way I see it Michael, Daniels has two supporters to Thompson's one".

Cole: "The bell has sounded and PrimeTime senior official Mike Chioda has been assigned this match".

TWF Intercontinental Title Match

Challenger..... "The Fallen Angel" Chris Daniels w/ Mortis and Low-Ki vs. Shane Thompson w/ Luther Reigns

Chioda held up the Intercontinental title and then handed it to timekeeper Mark Eaton. The two men locked up and it was Daniels who used a quick arm drag. Thompson backed off, looking at a spot to move in and he went into a quick go behind. Daniels tried to counter with a back elbow but Thompson ducked it and had him set for a northern lights suplex. But Daniels elbowed him in the back of the head to block that and then threw a superkick. Thompson however avoided the impact and took Daniels out with a back legsweep, a very nice move. Both men had fierce looks in their eyes, locking up again. This time, Daniels backed him into the corner and tried an overhand chop against the chest but Thompson moved and kicked Daniels in the back of the legs. He got the response he wanted as a hotheaded Daniels threw a wild clothesline and Thompson ducked, countering with a falling neckbreaker followed by a standing moonsault. Thompson only got a 1 count before pulling Daniels up and whipping him to the ropes. As Daniels came off, he landed a kick into the midsection and then hit the ropes on the top side of the camera angle but Daniels plastered him with a kick to the face that swung the pendulum his way. Daniels then locked in a dragon sleeper, looking to sap the energy out of the champion. But Thompson was able to kick his way out of the move. He sprung to his feet and shot Daniels to the corner but when he went for a monkey flip, Daniels held the top rope to block it and he fell to his back. Daniels then smoked him with a superkick and fell into a cover, hooking both legs to get 1........2......., but Thompson was up. Thompson did however have a small cut on his lip and Daniels tried to make it worse with some hard right hands. Thompson seemed to be losing everything he had in his tank as his former mentor took it to him. But off an irish whip, Thompson ducked a spin kick and hit the ropes on the other side but both men went for a cross body block and they collided in mid air. Chioda began to orchestrate his 10 count but it was stalled by Low-Ki who got on the apron. Mortis then tried to sneak into the ring behind Chioda's back but Reigns came over and pulled him out, whipping him into the steel steps. Low-Ki saw this and dove off the apron but Luther caught him in mid air and rammed him into the steel post. In the ring, Daniels was to his feet first and he hit a springboard DDT which looked sure to do it. But somehow, Thompson reached down deep to kick out at 2 3/4. Daniels then pulled him up, looking for the "Last Rites" but Thompson countered it and brought Daniels right into the "Outcast", rolling onto him and grapevining both his legs to get the 1.........2.........3.

Match Time: 9:42

Cole: "Shane Thompson has escaped with his gold still intact and I think we just found out why he has this guy Luther around"!

Ventura: "Luther did his job, he watched his back and in the ring, Daniels just got beat, plain and simple".

"READY TO DIE" PLAYED AS REIGNS HELPED THOMPSON UP THE RAMP AFTER DRAPING THE BELT OVER HIS SHOULDER. THOMPSON CHECKED HIS LIP TO SEE THE SEVERITY OF THE CUT.

Cole: "Student has beaten teacher tonight and the title reign continues for Shane Thompson".

BACKSTAGE.....

CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW STRIFE AND BAHAMUT, NOW IN STREET CLOTHES.

Strife: "Hey man, thanks for the assist out there, I never expected that".

Bahamut: "Well, I've had my share of problems with those three, but I've been thinkin' that it's time to reform the greatest tag team this industry ever saw".

Strife: "Hey man, if you want it.... you know I do".

THE TWO HIGH FIVE

Bahamut: "Lets' go out and get some beers".

IN ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA.....

TRAVIS WAKEMAN AND TRISH ARE SHOWN WALKING DOWN THE CORRIDOR TO GET TO THE RING WHEN ROB VAN DAM COMES UP.

Rob Van Dam: "Hey guys......

Travis Wakeman: "What's up Rob"?

RVD: "Listen man, I just wanted to wish you good luck out there tonight, after all, you do have good luck in falls count anywhere matches.

WAKEMAN GIVES HIM A WEIRD LOOK.

WrestleMania three.... you remember that? Your girl here remembers it I'm sure. But don't worry man, it's cool now, I'm pullin' for ya tonight".

RVD WALKS AWAY

Wakeman: "Speaking of that Trish, I want to do this on my own tonight, not like at WrestleMania three".

Trish: (understanding) "Okay".

INSIDE THE ARENA, "MY WAY" BY LIMP BIZKIT HITS AND MR. VAIN COMES TO THE RING WITH DAWN MARIE AND RICK MARTEL.

Cole: "Is this the last time we will see Mr. Vain in the TWF"?

Ventura: "I sure hope not Michael, he is putting it all on the line here against a man who is risking nothing"!

"MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN STARTS UP AND THE FANS BEGIN TO RISE AS TRAVIS WAKEMAN COMES OUT, LED BY TRISH.

Cole: "Well the way I see it, Mr. Vain wanted this match, not Wakeman. Wakeman defeated him inside the steel cage on PrimeTime and Mr. Vain wanted one more go"!

Ventura: "That match should be stricken from the record books Michael because the referee in that match never made Wakeman the winner! He was out cold"!

Cole: "Earlier tonight, Raven agreed to make this a falls count anywhere match which is curious because according to him, the Board of Directors would not sanction the Stretcher match between Jordan Rockwell and Rhyno earlier"!

Ventura: "Are you suggesting Raven is making things up Michael? I think it's great that this match is gonna be falls count anywhere because I think that favors Mr. Vain"!

Cole: "Mr. Vain is from the old M.O.W. where matches like this were commonplace so you might be right.

JUST THEN, REFEREE CHARLES ROBINSON ASKED DAWN MARIE AND RICK MARTEL TO LEAVE RINGSIDE.

What is this"?

Ventura: "He can't ask them to leave? They're Mr. Vain's corner"!

Cole: "Well that's what he's doing... they're outta here"!

MARTEL AND DAWN MARIE ARE FURIOUS AS THE CROWD CHEERS BUT THEN, ROBINSON MAKES TRISH GO BACK TOO.

Ventura: "Well at least he's doing the right thing there"!

Cole: "Trish is being sent back to so now, it's one on one and the best man is gonna win this thing".

Falls Count Anywhere

Mr. Vain vs. Travis Wakeman

The bell rang and these two were on each other like two rabid pitbulls in a prize fight. Both men threw heavy haymakers and it was Wakeman who landed the harder ones before taking Vain out of the ring with a clothesline. Wakeman followed him out and that was the last time this match would be in the ring. Wakeman grabbed an electrical cord and choked Vain, making him gasp for air. He then cleared a path in the crowd before charging at him but Vain countered with a backbody drop, lifting Wakeman into the crowd. Wakeman fell hard on the concrete and immediately grabbed his back as Vain pummelled him with some hard right hands. He then took him and rammed him face first into the steel around the gaurd rail before dumping Wakeman into the middle of the aisle. Vain then went and just kicked Wakeman right in the ribs before making the cover and Robinson got a 2 count. Vain then pulled him up and went for a suplex but Wakeman blocked it and lifted Vain up, leaving him draped over the barricade. He then picked him up and hit a backdrop suplex on the ramp. Both men were down but Wakeman got to his feet first. When he did, Essa Rios pulled Trish back out from the back with a handful of hair. Trish seemed a little startled as Wakeman tried to go help but Vain came from behind with a lowblow before rolling him up and nearly getting the win. Vain and Wakeman were near the top of the ramp and Vain tried to just push him off. Wakeman showed great balance and then grabbed Vain around the head and neck when he charged in, taking Vain off with a swinging sambo suplex right through the sound stage. "Holy shit" chants became very prevalent as Wakeman made his way into a cover and Robinson made the 3 count.

Match Time: 4:54

Cole: "That is it! The career of Mr. Vain has been ended but now there are other matters"!

WAKEMAN PULLED HIS WAY UP AND STARTED TO MAKE HIS WAY FOR RIOS, WHO STILL HAD A HOLD OF TRISH.

Ventura: "Look out"!

JUST THEN, WAKEMAN WAS BLINDSIDED BY SEAN O'HAIRE WHO KICKED HIM RIGHT IN THE FACE. HE THEN LIFTED HIM UP AND DELIVERED THE "WIDOWMAKER" ON THE STEEL RAMP AND WAKEMAN WAS MOTIONLESS. RIOS TOSSED TRISH TO THE GROUND AND THE 2 MEN LEFT LAUGHING.

Cole: "I don't believe what we are seeing! What is with Sean O'Haire"?!

Ventura: "He obviously has more of a problem with Wakeman than we thought Michael"!

Cole: "We're gonna need some help out here for both these guys"!

DRESSING ROOM.....

THE ULTIMO DRAGON IS SHOWN DOING SOME STRETCHES BEFORE HIS MATCH.

Ventura: "Our main event is next Michael and there is the man that could leave here with the Universal title"!

Cole: "It's hard to believe the Dragon has come this far Jesse but I think it sets the stage for one of the most intriguing title matches we've ever had here!

A REPLAY IS SHOWN OF THE ULTIMO DRAGON WINNING THE 16 MAN BATTLE ROYALE, LASTLY ELIMINATING REY MYSTERIO TO BECOME THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER.

That match is just moments away".

BACKSTAGE......

CAMERAS CATCH DYLAN JANSENS CELEBRATING HIS WIN WITH PAUL LONDON AND CHAOS WOLF WHEN REY MYSTERIO COMES UP, HOLDING A CELL PHONE.

Mysterio: "Hey DJ..... phone call man".

HE HANDS THE PHONE TO JANSENS.

Jansens: "Hello. Oh hey Chris.... how ya been man? (pause) Well thank you.... I really appreciate that man, it's a great feeling. (pause) Okay, great to hear from you man, keep up the good work on SlaughterHouse".

JANSENS HANGS UP

Mysterio: "Well"?

Jansens: "It was Benoit.... calling to congratulate me".

JANSENS LOOKS AT HIS BELT AGAIN AND SMILES AS THE SHOT SWITCHES TO RINGSIDE.

Howard Finkel: "The following contest, set for one fall, is for the TWF Universal title"!

Cole: "Here we go!

THE ULTIMO DRAGON's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP AS FLAMES FILL THE ENTRYWAY. HE HAS THE LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST.

Who do you think will call this man if he pulls this off tonight Jesse"?!

Ventura: "I think we'll see an entire nation, speaking of Japan, throw a huge party"!

Cole: "Ultimo Dragon is from Japan but lives in Mexico City where he is also well known both in and out of the ring but has he ever faced someone like RVD"?

PYRO POUNDS OFF ON THE SET AS "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT HITS AND ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT TO THE BIGGEST POP ALL NIGHT WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER.

Ventura: "Well just like the theme song says Michael, RVD is one of a kind but he is beatable. I don't know if it's gonna happen tonight but don't count the Dragon out".

Cole: "Only RVD's Universal title is on the line in this one and here's a thought for fans out there. Since arriving here in the TWF, the Ultimo Dragon has won almost eighty percent of the matches he's been in".

TWF Universal Title Match

Challenger.... The Ultimo Dragon vs. Rob Van Dam

As the match began, both men showed each other a lot of respect. It was the Dragon who struck first, hitting RVD with 3 stiff kicks to the legs, knowing that those are RVD's most lethal weapons. But RVD moved in and grabbed him in a headlock, taking him to the mat. Ultimo used a headscissor to break free and then ducked a clothesline, kicking RVD in the gut and hitting the ropes. But RVD went into the splits and used his feet for a monkey flip as Ultimo came off the other side. Both men got to their feet and the fans roared with an ovation. They locked up and RVD went into a reverse armbar. He tried to wrench it but Ultimo front flipped into an arm drag before catching RVD with a dropkick. Holding his mouth, RVD rolled out of the ring to regroup but Ultimo went to the apron and hit his trademark Asai moonsault. Unfortunately, he hurt himself too and referee Mike Chioda, working another title match, started his count. At 6, RVD got into the ring and slid back out to break the count. He picked the Dragon up and rolled him into the ring before coming over the top rope with a slingshot legdrop, covering him for a 2 count. RVD then pulled him up and sent him to the corner where he drove several shoulders into his gut before backflipping into a diving shoulderblock. RVD had the crowd behind him and he caught Ultimo with a heel kick before turning his hands, motioning for the Rolling Thunder. But Ultimo got his knees up into RVD's back to counter the move and then Ultimo showed off his quick feet, kicking RVD about 20 times in a matter of seconds before just dropping him with a spinning jump kick to the face. Ultimo then decided to take a risk, going to the top rope. He came off with a cross body block, hitting it with perfection to get the 1........2......., but RVD was up. Ultimo didn't want to give him a second to recover so he sent him to the ropes and followed in but RVD stuck a foot in his face and went for a wheel kick but when Ultimo ducked, he took out Chioda. Ultimo then rolled RVD up in an unbelievable grapevine pin and had what was at least a 4 count. Ultimo released the hold and tried to help Chioda up when Raven came out.... again.

Cole: "Oh what now?! This man is pushing it tonight"!

Ventura: "Pushing what..... he makes the decisions"!

Raven: "Sorry RVD, but we all saw it! You just got pinned and whether the referee counted it or not, I am awarding the title to the Ultimo Dragon".

Cole: "What?! He can't do that"?!

ULTIMO JUST STOOD IN THE RING SHAKING HIS HEAD, TOO PROUD TO TAKE THE BELT.

Raven: "What? You aren't gonna take the title? You make me sick"!

RAVEN WALKED BACKSTAGE.

Ventura: "I can't believe this guy! He had the title Cole"!

Cole: "Turn around Ultimo"!

RVD tried to sneak up from behind but Ultimo blocked his foot with his arm and lifted him up for a slam. But RVD countered it into a small package and Chioda made the 3 count.

Match Time: 11:08

ULTIMO WAS STUNNED AS "ONE OF A KIND" PLAYED AND RVD WENT AND GRABBED HIS TITLE.

Cole: "Ugh..... what a tough loss for the Dragon".

Ventura: "He deserves to lose Michael! He had a chance to be champion"!

Cole: "What's wrong with being too proud to give into that piece of garbage Raven?! And yeah, I hope he's listening because as far as I'm concerned.... he just cost the Ultimo Dragon the title"!

JUST THEN, WAR ON AMERICA COMES BACK OUT.

Ventura: "What the hell is this"?!

ARIES AND HIROHITO GOT INTO THE RING AND HIROHITO BEGAN TO BERATE ULTIMO IN JAPANESE. ONCE HE WAS DONE, ARIES TRANSLATED, SAYING HIROHITO SAID HE IS DISGUSTED WITH THE DRAGON AND ONLY EXPECTS BEHAVIOR LIKE THAT OUT OF AMERICANS.

BUT THEN, WAR ON AMERICA ATTACKED ULTIMO, PUTTING A SAVAGE BEATING ON HIM.

Cole: "No! Somebody get out here and stop this! Where's our Enforcer now"!

Ventura: "That's it"!

VENTURA THREW HIS HEADSET DOWN BUT COLE GOT UP AND HELD HIM BACK.

Cole: "Don't do it Jess..... you signed the form"!

AFTER THE BEATING, ARIES AND HIROHITO WAVED THEIR BLACK FLAG AND THE FANS BOOED LIKE MAD AS THE SHOT FADED OUT.
