The TWF Entertainment logo flashes across the screen in glowing text before the legal disclaimer containing the copyright information is shown.
THE SOUND OF A ROARING ENGINE IS HEARD BEFORE A LARGE BLACK CONVERSION VAN IS SHOWN RUMBLING DOWN A DESOLATE HIGHWAY. LIGHTNING STRIKES ACROSS THE DARK SKY AS RAIN STARTS TO FALL.
Audio Voiceover: "Tonight..... superstars from all four divisions of the TWF will engage in warfare..... thirty men, fighting for one grand prize".
THE VAN PULLS OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND A VOICE YELLS "THIS IS WHERE WE STOP". THE VAN COMES TO REST AND MOMENTS LATER, THE PASSENGER DOOR POPS OPEN. A MAN WALKS TO THE BACK OF THE VAN AND OPENS THE BACK DOOR.
The road to WrestleMania has expanded north of the border, and tonight begins..... the final stretch".
WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE AIR CANADA CENTRE IS SHOWN IN THE DISTANCE AS THE MAN PULLS SOMEONE OUT OF THE BACK OF THE VAN BY A CHAIN. THE CHAINED MAN IS COVERED BY A BLACK HOOD. THE OTHER MAN BEGINS TO LEAD HIM DOWN THE REST OF THE ROAD, TOWARDS THE ARENA.
For tonight, it's about strength...... survival..... and the luck of the draw"!
LIGHTNING STRIKES AGAIN AND THUNDER CRASHES ACROSS THE SKY. THIS STARTLES THE MAN LEADING THE MAN IN THE MASK AND HE LETS GO OF THE CHAIN. THE MASKED MAN KICKS THE OTHER MAN IN THE FACE BEFORE PULLING THE DRIVER OUT OF THE VAN AND DUMPING HIM ON THE ROAD. THE MASKED MAN THEN GETS INTO THE VAN AND PEELS OUT, SPEEDING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. A LOUD, VERY WICKED LAUGH CAN BE HEARD.
"Good luck...... ahahahahahaha"!
And now, TWF Entertainment presents...............

THE AIR CANADA CENTRE COMES INTO THE SHOT AND PYRO EXPLODES FOR OVER 30 SECONDS AS FANS CHEER IN MASS.
Jim Ross: "It's the 2008 TWF Royal Rumble and we are in the presence of over fifteen thousand entusiastic fans! What a night this is gonna be, King"!
Jerry Lawler: "With all that we have going on tonight, J.R., I think it's a good thing that we've got help to call this thing"!
J.R.: "We've got our colleagues from over on PrimeTime which has been heating up the FOX network, but my guess is, Michael Cole hasn't gotten used to that guy sitting next to him yet".
THE SHOT GOES OVER TO THE PRIMETIME BROADCAST TABLE SHOWING COLE AND THE HONKY TONK MAN.
Michael Cole: "Well thanks, J.R., and contrary to what it may look like, my broadcast partner is not one of the Flying Elvises! But Honky Tonk Man, anyone who has followed the TWF over the years knows that the Royal Rumble is the launching pad to WrestleMania"!
Honky Tonk Man: "There's no doubt about it and this year more than ever because not only will the man who wins the Royal Rumble earn a spot in the main event at WrestleMania, but we have the finals of the King of the Ring tournament and the man who wins the crown, gets a shot at one of the titles at WrestleMania as well"!
Cole: "History will definitely be made tonight and we are ready to send it to our ring announcer, Howard Finkel"!
Howard Finkel: "Welcome to the 2008 TWF Royal Rumble!
THE FANS CHEER LOUDLY
The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is the PrimeTime King of the Ring finals"!
THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND A RED FLASH STREAMS ACROSS THE ARENA. BOOS POUR THROUGH THE STANDS AS "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI COMES ON AND THE SPOTLIGHT IS SHONE ON THE ECW ENTRANCE IN THE CROWD. MOMENTS LATER, PAUL HEYMAN STEPS OUT WITH A GRIN FROM EAR TO EAR BEFORE JOE COREY EMERGES FROM THE BACK WITH THE ECW WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST.
Cole: "The leader of the ECW faction is just two wins away from a main event match at WrestleMania and as many people who can't stand this guy, he has been almost unbeatable for several months"!
HTM: "It is a waste of time to direct your hatred towards this man, folks. You might as well jump on the bandwagon, because he's well on his way to winning this tournament, defeating whoever he faces at WrestleMania, and becoming one of the biggest names this business has ever known".
THE CROWD POPS AS HARRY SMITH's MUSIC PLAYS AND HE COMES OUT SLAPPING HANDS WITH MANY OF THE FANS.
Cole: "That's quite the prognostication, partner, but how can you discredit the run this young man is on"?
HTM: "I didn't discredit anything! I just said Joe Corey is going to win this tournament, plain and simple"!
WITH SMITH ABOUT HALFWAY DOWN THE RAMP, COREY ASKED FOR A MICROPHONE.
Joe Corey: "Cut that music off!
HARRY SMITH's MUSIC STOPS.
Harry, before you come down to this ring and get your ass handed to you, I had to make mention of what you said on the last PrimeTime. Paul.........
PAUL HEYMAN REACHES INTO HIS COAT POCKET AND PULLS OUT A BOTTLE, HANDING IT TO COREY.
You said that you were dedicating this tournament to your father, the British Bulldog.
THE FANS APPLAUD BEFORE COREY HOLDS UP THE BOTTLE.
But honestly, did your dad ever have you in mind? Did he ever dedicate anything to you? Ya know what this is? This bottle is filled with a variety of painkillers...... the same pills your great dad chose over you and the rest of your family"!
Cole: "Oh come on, that is going way too far".
Corey: "So before you go and dedicate anything..........
WITHOUT LETTING COREY SAY ANOTHER WORD, AN ENRAGED SMITH CHARGED THE RING AND SLID IN.
PrimeTime King of the Ring Final Harry Smith vs. ECW Champion: "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Paul Heyman Smith stood up and blocked a right hand, firing back with one of his own as the bell sounded to start the match. Smith ran the ropes and Corey missed with a clothesline before Smith took him down with a dropkick. Smith then mounted Corey and smashed him with right hand after right hand, nearly getting disqualified before referee Mike Enos pulled him off. Smith had definitely let his emotions get the best of him as he left the ring to chase Heyman. Heyman's eyes looked as if they were going to bulge out of his head as Smith came after him. But as they circled the ring, Corey rolled under the bottom rope and ducked below the apron. After Heyman passed him, Corey rose up and dropped the unsuspecting Smith with a clothesline. Now full of energy, The Show picked Smith up and rammed him face first into the steel ring steps before whipping him hard into the steel post. After rolling Smith back into the ring, Corey had things well in hand. After a big shinbreaker, Corey went to lock in the figure four, but Smith grabbed his head and pulled him into a small package to get a 1........2........, but Corey was up. Smith pulled Corey to his feet and ran the ropes but the ECW champion was waiting with a nasty spinebuster. Corey got up and aggressively pulled Smith to his feet and delivered the "Showstopper". Corey covered Smith and Enos got down to make the 3 count. Match Time: 3:35 Cole: "An abrupt end to this match but I can't believe the things Joe Corey had to say.... what's he doing now"?! HTM: "Looks like it's time to add insult to injury"! AS "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN, COREY CALLED HEYMAN INTO THE RING AND HEYMAN HANDED HIM THE BOTTLE OF PILLS AND COREY OPENED IT, STUFFING A FEW OF THE PILLS INTO THE MOUTH OF HARRY SMITH! Cole: "Ah, come on! This is disgusting"! HTM: "Look, he's probably making his dad proud now"! Cole: "I can't even believe you just said that! This is one of the most dispicable things I've ever seen in the TWF"! HTM: "Well dispicable or not, Joe Corey is one win away from becoming King of the Ring"! THE SHOT GOES INTO THE BACKSTAGE AREA WHERE TODD GRISHAM IS STANDING OUTSIDE THE TRAINER's ROOM. Todd Grisham: "Ladies and gentlemen, later tonight, Mark Henry is scheduled to challenge Chris Masters for the TWF World title but last week on the last Rampage, Henry suffered some serious head injuries at the hands of Masters and with me now is the head trainer. How will this affect tonight's title match"? Trainer: "Well, Todd, we just examined Mark. He did need ten stitches to close the cut on his forehead after Masters threw him through that car window and he had signs of a concussion after he was hit in the back of the head with that piece of pipe, but he should be good to go tonight". Grisham: "There ya have it, the title match is on! The World's strongest man challenging the Masterpiece"! ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM THE SHOT GOES INTO THE ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM WHERE KELLY AND TALIA MADISON ARE ON EITHER SIDE OF A GOLD TUMBLER, SPINNING IT. INSIDE, THERE ARE 30 PLASTIC BALLS WITH NUMBERS INSIDE. SHANE McMAHON IS TALKING WITH JBL WHEN SHAWN MICHAELS AND JORDAN ROCKWELL WALK IN TO MAKE THEIR PICKS. Shane McMahon: "Alright, you guys are the first ones to pick, so have at it". MICHAELS REACHES IN AND PICKS HIS NUMBER, BUT ROCKWELL HAS HIS EYES FIXED ON JBL. ROCKWELL STARTS TO GO FOR HIM, BUT MICHAELS HOLDS HIM BACK. Shawn Michaels: "No, not here, don't do this". JBL: "Simmer down, Rockwell, Shane just signed a protective order allowing me to be in this building tonight without any problems from you or anyone else. I have business to tend to"! ROCKWELL LOOKS AT SHANE. Shane McMahon: "It's for the best, you don't need this tonight, just pick your number". ROCKWELL REACHES IN AND SELECTS A BALL. AFTER OPENING IT AND CHECKING THE NUMBER, HE SLAMS IT ON THE FLOOR AND LEAVES THE ROOM. TALIA RUNS OVER TO PICK UP HIS NUMBER TO SEE WHAT IT IS. BACK IN THE ARENA, UMAGA's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. Cole: "Twenty nine men have been entered into the Royal Rumble, but one spot remains and it will either go to Axl Irvin..... or the Samoan Bulldozer"! HTM: "Well with the way these two men feel about each other, there might be nothing left by the time this thing is over"! Cole: "It's interesting to note that Umaga's former handler Armando Alejandro Estrada and Axl Irvin's manager, Traci Brooks, have been victims of this very heated rivalry". "THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY HITS AND AXL IRVIN COMES OUT TO A VERY BIG POP. AXL WASTES NO TIME, CHARGING TO THE RING. HTM: "Oh here he comes, this is the mistake Harry Smith made earlier"! Royal Rumble Qualifying Match Axl Irvin vs. Umaga Umaga tried to catch Axl with a superkick when he came into the ring, but Axl avoided it and kicked him in the gut twice before popping him with a European uppercut. After raking the big man's eyes, Axl went to the middle turnbuckle and came off with a flying bulldog, driving the face of Umaga into the mat. Axl got the cover, but Umaga was up at 2. After running the ropes again, Axl found himself on the receiving end of a big Samoan drop. Umaga then stomped on Axl several times with his bare feet before dropping to his knees and choking him. Referee Charles Robinson administered a 5 count before Umaga broke the hold. Umaga then picked Axl up and set him in the tree of woe before getting a running start and flying with a headbutt, catching Axl right in the face. Umaga then pulled Axl into the center of the ring before going to the apron and climbing to the top turnbuckle. Umaga flew off with his big splash, but the ring just shook when Axl moved. Axl got up and hit Umaga with 2 right hands and a kick to the side of the head. With Umaga on his knees, Axl pulled him to the mat with a big DDT. Again he went for the cover, but Umaga kicked out at 2. Axl went over and ripped the top turnbuckle pad off one of the corners. Robinson tried to stop him, but Axl shoved him across the ring! Robinson thought about disqualifying him, but decided to let the match go. From behind, Umaga charged at Axl but Axl moved out of the way and he ran into the exposed steel bolt. Axl rolled him up from behind for the 1........2........., but Umaga was up again! Umaga got to his feet and backed into the same corner as Axl moved in on him with right hands to the head and body. Axl climbed to the middle turnbuckle, smashing Axl with an uncontrollable rage. Umaga absorbed everything he had before grabbing the back of his legs and dropping him face first on the exposed turnbuckle. Umaga then got his taped-up thumb ready and jammed the "Samoan Spike" right into his throat. Axl fell to the mat and Umaga covered him for the win. Match Time: 6:19 Cole: "Well just like that, this is over! What a great equalizer that Samoan Spike is"! HTM: "You aren't kidding, Michael and if Umaga draws one of those high numbers for the Royal Rumble...... look out"! UMAGA's MUSIC PLAYED AS HE LEFT THE RING, SHOUTING IN HIS NATIVE TONGUE AS AXL WRITHED IN PAIN IN THE RING. BACKSTAGE AREA...... IN THE BACK, CAMERAS CATCH A CONVERSATION BETWEEN JOE COREY AND SYLVESTER TERKAY. Joe Corey: "Look, I have no doubt you're going to defeat Aldo Corleone tonight, you're one of the baddest guys in this business. But when you do, that means it's me and you in the finals. You remember our agreement, don't you"? ELIJAH BURKE COMES WALKING UP. Elijah Burke: "What's up my man?! COREY AND BURKE SLAP HANDS Congrats on getting to the finals, champ, now it's time to go get the Manbear in there to join ya". Corey: "You guys aren't forgetting the agreement, right? We talked about this". Burke: "Oh... oh yeah, no doubt. It's about the group, we know". Corey: "I hope so". BURKE AND TERKAY WALK OFF, HEADING TO THE RING AS THE SHOT GOES TO THE DRAWING ROOM. ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM SHANE McMAHON IS TALKING TO KELLY AND TALIA WHEN RIC FLAIR ENTERS THE ROOM. Ric Flair: "Woooooooooo"! Shane McMahon: "Nature Boy! What's happenin', man, get that number out"! FLAIR REACHES HIS HAND INTO THE TUMBLER AND PULLS OUT A NUMBER. HE HAS BOTH KELLY AND TALIA BLOW ON IT BEFORE OPENING IT. HIS SMILE QUICKLY DISAPPERS. Flair: "Well, I've got my work cut out for me". JUST THEN, DUSTIN KASH ENTERS THE ROOM. Dustin Kash: "Flair, you'd have your work cut out for you if you were the only guy in this Royal Rumble. You're lucky they don't put an age limit on this thing". Flair: "Ya know, it's young, ignorant guys like you that give this business a bad name. If I wasn't so focused on winning this thing tonight, I'd...... Kash: "You'd what? If I could, I'd reach into that tumbler and pull a number out for myself, but for some reason, I'm not in the match". KASH TURNS AND LOOKS AT SHANE McMAHON AND FLAIR JUST SLAPS KASH ON THE SHOULDER AND LAUGHS. Flair: "Maybe it's your attitude". THE SHOT GOES TO ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA, WHERE TODD GRISHAM IS STANDING WITH ALDO CORLEONE. Todd Grisham: "Ladies and gentlemen, here is the man set to face Sylvester Terkay later tonight in the Rampage King of the Ring finals".
Aldo Corleone: "You see Todd, all I've been hearing all week is about how Terkay is a monster and me winning is an upset. What a joke, let's see how Oxford defines "monster": "A creature having a strange or frightening appearance." Alright, you know what, I give Terkay that, he is one ugly son of a bitch. But as far as dominating in the ring is concerned... fo'gettaboutit. I will chew him up, spit him out, and when the dust is settled, pin him for the one, two, three". CORLEONE HEADS OFF TOWARD THE RING. "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYS AGAIN AND OUT FROM THE ECW ENTRANCE STEPS SYLVESTER TERKAY, ALONG WITH ELIJAH BURKE. J.R.: "Well I guess it's our turn to get into this show, King, but what a job by our broadcast colleagues". Lawler: "Well you know I'm not gonna say anything good about that guy sitting next to Michael Cole, so let's just get on with it". J.R.: "This of course is the Rampage King of the Ring final and we've already seen the head of the ECW group get into the finals, now we'll see if the Manbear can get in". Lawler: "Well we've seen firsthand what this guy Sylvester Terkay can do, J.R., the guy is just a beast, but what's gonna happen if he does win this match? I mean, we saw the conversation between he and Joe Corey". THE THEME FROM THE "GODFATHER" MOVIES COMES ON AND ALDO CORLEONE STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK, HEADING TO THE RING. J.R.: "That will be interesting to say the least, but here comes the Italian Monster Aldo Corleone and let me just say....... Lawler: "Let me just say it for ya, J.R., this is gonna be a slobberknocker"! J.R.: "Damn right it is! Two of the hardest hitters in the entire TWF, set to face off for the right to be the King of the Ring"! Rampage King of the Ring Final Sylvester Terkay w/ Elijah Burke vs. Aldo Corleone Terkay stood in his corner throwing punches and kicks as Corleone moved in, showing no fear of the Manbear. Terkay came out of the corner swinging but Corleone came back with a big knee to the midsection. After a gutwrench suplex, Aldo delivered a big legdrop. Pulling Terkay to his feet, Aldo hit the ropes and went for the Mafia Kick but Terkay moved out of the way and jabbed him in the side of the head. After a falling backdrop suplex, Terkay grabbed the right arm of Aldo, twisting it awkwardly in a fujiwara armbar. Aldo looked very close to tapping out, but he willed his way to the bottom rope, grabbing it to earn a break. Referee Scott Martin stood the men up, and Terkay went to his MMA background, blasting Aldo with rights, lefts, and some sharp kicks to the body. After cracking Aldo with a kick to the abdomen, Terkay caught him with a roundhouse kick to the head that caught him flush. Terkay then moved over and grabbed the arm of Corleone, looking for his triangle armbar. But Aldo was able to pull Terkay down, right into a knee to the head that knocked him to the mat. After a huge elbow drop, Aldo pulled Terkay up and whipped him into the corner. He ran in with a big kick, but Terkay moved out of the way and delivered an incredible german suplex. Terkay bridged up into a pin, but Aldo got his left shoulder off the mat just in time. Terkay loaded up his right fist for the Heart Punch, but Aldo beat him to it, kicking him in the gut and dropping him with a headbutt. Following a big powerslam, Aldo went to the outside of the ring and made his way to the corner. Burke got up on the apron to distract him, but Corleone was able to fight him off. But the second he got up on the top rope, which he is not accustomed to, Terkay knocked his feet out from under him and showed incredible power, lifting the massive Italian up and dropping him with a Muscle Buster. Terkay made the cover and got the 3 count. Match Time: 6:18 J.R.: "A very impressive win for the Manbear has made it an all-ECW King of the Ring final"! Lawler: "Well you know this is exactly what ECW was hoping for when this tournament started and now, no matter what happens, ECW will be in one of the big matches at WrestleMania"! "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AS ELIJAH BURKE AND TERKAY WALKED BACK UP THE RAMP. BURKE HAD PLENTY TO SAY ON TERKAY's BEHALF AS HE WAS PICKED UP SAYING "I TOLD YOU IT WOULD GO DOWN LIKE THIS" SEVERAL TIMES. J.R.: "WrestleMania is slowly starting to take shape, and it's clear that ECW will play a very big role in it! Who will be the King of the Ring..... we have two men left"! BACKSTAGE AREA....... IN THE BACK, EDDIE SAINT JAMES IS SHOWN GETTING READY FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH WHEN MONICA COMES UP WITH AN UNUSUAL LOOK ON HER FACE, AT LEAST FOR HER. Eddie Saint James: "So...... what was the phone call about"? Monica: "Eddie..... I think we should talk about it later, you have to........ Saint James: "No! What was it about"?! Monica: "Fine..... I just found out that Johnny Hazard escaped the hospital he was staying at in Nebraska". Saint James: "What? He was supposed to be there until he was cleared.... which would've never happened"! Monica: "They went into his room this morning, and he was gone. But let's not worry about that.... let's focus on winning the Royal Rumble..... okay"? THE SAINT SEEMS A LITTLE STRESSED, BUT TRIES TO FOCUS AS THE SHOT GOES TO THE DRAWING ROOM. ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM AS KELLY AND TALIA TURN THE TUMBLER, MATT CRUZ STEPS UP WEARING A TEXAS LONGHORNS JUMPSUIT. HE REACHES INTO THE TUMBLER AND PULLS OUT A NUMBER. AFTER LOOKING AT IT, HE SEEMS VERY SATISFIED. THE SHOT RETURNS TO THE RING WHERE A SCAFFOLDING STRUCTURE HAS BEEN ERECTED AROUND THE RING. THE STRUCTURE SITS OUTSIDE THE RING AND STRETCHES FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER. IT STANDS ABOUT 10 ABOVE THE RING AND THERE ARE FOUR LADDERS LEADING TO THE TOP. ON EITHER SIDE OF THE PLATFORM IS A COLORED FLAG. A RED FLAG CONTAINING THE EYE SPY LOGO AND A BLUE FLAG WITH THE PICTURES OF BOTH MAJOR BROTHERS. "PICTURES" BY SYSTEM OF A DOWN PLAYS AND EYE SPY MAKES THEIR WAY OUT FROM THE BACK ALONG WITH CANDICE MICHELLE. ALEX SHELLEY IS CARRYING HIS TRIPOD AND CAMCORDER AND THEY ARE GREETED BY THOUSANDS OF BOOS. J.R.: "Here come the former Rampage Tag Team champions and King, I'm not sure how many scaffold matches you've seen in your day, but I can attest to the fact that it is one of the most dangerous matches in our business"! Lawler: "There's no question about it. You can suffer very serious or even permanent injuries in one of these things and in every scaffold match I've ever seen, that structure isn't all that secure". BEFORE GETTING IN THE RING, EYE SPY GETS IN THE FACE OF ONE OF THE RINGSIDE FANS, AND IS SOON REALIZED THAT IT IS JIM "THE ANVIL" NIEDHART. J.R.: "Look who it is, King, it's The Anvil"! Lawler: "It sure is, and it looks like he's got a problem with Eye Spy"! AFTER TAKING SEVERAL HARSH WORDS FROM EYE SPY, NIEDHART STOOD UP AND THE CROWD BEGAN CHANTING "ANVIL". FINALLY, OGDEN SLAPPED HIM ACROSS THE FACE AND NIEDHART RESPONDED WITH A RIGHT HAND THAT KNOCKED HIM DOWN. NIEDHART ALMOST JUMPED THE GUARDRAIL BUT AS MEMBERS OF ARENA SECURITY HELD HIM BACK, SHELLEY GOT IN A CHEAP SHOT AND OGDEN SPIT RIGHT IN HIS FACE! SHELLEY BEGAN RECORDING THE ACTION AS IT TOOK 6 GUYS TO HOLD NIEDHART BACK, AND ESCORT HIM OUT OF THE BUILDING! J.R.: "What the hell is that about?! Ogden and Shelley just completely disrespected one of the greats of this business"! Lawler: "I can't believe that! He actually spit in the Anvil's face"! THE CROWD POPS WHEN THE MAJOR BROTHERS' MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT FROM THE BACK, EACH WITH THEIR TAG TEAM TITLE AROUND THEIR WAIST. J.R.: "This young team was able to win the titles from Eye Spy at DoomsDay, but Eye Spy invoked their rematch clause in a major way, no pun intended". Lawler: "That's right, it was Eye Spy that wanted the scaffold match, let's just hope that doesn't come back to bite them"! J.R.: "Well the look in both Brian and Brett Major's eyes says they aren't worried about this thing, and let's just run down the rules for this match. This match can only end if you grab the flag of your oppisition, or if you actually knock one of your opponent's off that scaffold"! Lawler: "The flag is obviously safer, but I know these guys have enough hatred towards each other that they probably want to throw each other off the scaffold"! Rampage Tag Team Title/Scaffold Match Challengers: Eye Spy w/ Candice vs. The Major Brothers The 4 men looked up at the structure and the task at hand, before going at it. Tornado rules applied here, so all 4 men were in the ring at once. Ogden kicked Brian Major in the abdomen to kick things off. Before the match got underway, Shelley set his camera to record, and it got a great shot of him catching Brett Major with a thumb to the eye. After Ogden dropped Brian with a right hand, he went over to help his partner with Brett. Brett did his best to fight them off, but Eye Spy was able to get him up for a double suplex. Brian came from behind with a forearm to the back of Shelley. The Major's then took turns on Ogden, rocking him with right hands before they took him over the top rope with a double dropkick. Brett told Brian to go up the scaffold while he held off Shelley. Brian made his way up one of the ladders, but Candice revived Ogden quickly and he began to climb one of the other ladders. Both men climbed up the ladders, which were directly across from one another, but Brian kicked Ogden in the right knee, which knocked him off the ladder. Shelley was able to fight Brett off before leaving the ring and grabbing his tripod, which he whacked across the back of Brian Major, knocking him off the ladder as well. Meanwhile, Brett had rolled out of the ring and gotten a table from underneath it. Brett slid the table into the ring and went back in to set it up. Right after he got the table up, Ogden came into the ring and tagged him with 2 right hands. Shelley then went to the top rope as Ogden laid Brett across the table. But using the same camera tripid, Brian got up and jabbed it into the ribs of Shelley, knocking him to the mat. Ogden ran across the ring and dove over the top rope, landing on Brian. The crowd loved the action to this point, but Brett Major got off the table and began to climb one of the ladders of the scaffold. Candice yelled for her men to get up as she was now holding the camera to record. Shelley got up off the mat and saw Brett nearly up on the scaffold, so he began to climb one of the ladders. Outside the ring, Brian dropped Ogden with a swinging neckbreaker before grabbing Candice, pulling her by the hair. He then planted a big kiss right on her mouth before grabbing the camera and saying "Did you get that"?! He handed the camera back to Candice, but just as he did, Ogden slammed a steel chair over his head. Ogden looked up to see Shelley and Brett slugging it out atop the scaffold, and he decided to join them. With Ogden nearly at the top, Brett rammed Shelley into a part of the structure, and he was about to grab the Eye Spy flag. But Ogden got on the scaffold and prevented him from doing that by grabbing his right foot. Brian Major was still down after the chair shot and Brett was in a 2 on 1 situation. As Ogden held his foot, Shelley came from behind with a lowblow. Ogden then grabbed Brett by one arm and Shelley grabbed him by the other before they lifted him up above their heads and slammed him off the scaffold, through the table! The bell sounded to stop the match as a "HOLY SHIT" chant resonated throughout the Air Canada Centre! Ogden then went over and grabbed the Major Brothers' flag, dropping it down as well. Match Time: 10:22 Lawler: "Oh my God! I can't believe that"! J.R.: "We have brand new Rampage Tag Team champs, and Brett Major has been broken in half"! Lawler: "His partner decided he wanted to put his hands on the lovely Candice Michelle, and I truly believe that cost them the match"! "PICTURES" PLAYED AS OGDEN AND SHELLEY CLIMBED DOWN THE SCAFFOLD AND CANDICE WAS WAITING IN THE RING TO HAND THEM THEIR TITLES. J.R.: "Like we said, this match can have career altering consequences, and I'd be surprised if we didn't just witness some of those"! Lawler: "Well let's give Eye Spy some credit, J.R., they had to compete under the same circumstances and they have come out on top..... once again the Rampage Tag Team champions"! EYE SPY LEFT THE RING TO MOSTLY BOOS WITH THEIR BELTS AND THE CAMERA AS BRIAN MAJOR, STILL GROGGY, GOT INTO THE RING TO HELP BRETT UP OUT OF THE BROKEN TABLE. J.R.: "It's been a wild night of action so far.... and we have much, much more to come"! BACKSTAGE AREA....... CAMERAS PICK UP A CONVERSATION BETWEEN ELIJAH BURKE AND SYLVESTER TERKAY. Elijah Burke: "Look, man, you don't have to do it, but we've gotta think about the group here. The choice is yours..... but you know what I........ Sylvester Terkay: "I don't care what you think! No one can beat me right now..... no one"! TERKAY WALKS AWAY AND BURKE JUST SHAKES HIS HEAD. ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM KEVIN THORN HAS JUST SELECTED HIS NUMBER, WHICH ARIEL PULLED OUT FOR HIM, WHEN CM PUNK AND MARIA COME IN. CM Punk: "Oh look, Maria, it's our good friends Kevin and Ariel. PUNK REACHES IN AND PULLS OUT A NUMBER. We'll see you guys soon". Ariel: "Oh yes..... we will". MARIA AND ARIEL LOCK EYES AND GIVE ONE ANOTHER A VERY DIRTY LOOK BEFORE PUNK PULLS MARIA OUT OF THE ROOM. ARIEL THEN TURNS AND GIVES BOTH KELLY AND TALIA THE SAME LOOK, CAUSING THEM BOTH TO TURN AWAY. "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA HITS AND MARK HENRY COMES OUT POUNDING HIS CHEST TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. J.R.: "We are ready for the World title match and King, I gotta say, with the competitors we have in this match, this may be the most unpopular TWF World title match of all time"! Lawler: "Well it may be, but both these men deserve to be where they are and this should be a great match". J.R.: "After what we saw on the last Rampage, you know Mark Henry is ready to get his mits on Chris Masters". Lawler: "Which can't be a good thing, but Mark Henry has basically taken credit for the title reign Masters has had, and I think Masters took some offense to that"! BOOS FILL THE ARENA WHEN CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC HITS AND PYRO BEGINS TO SPRAY ON THE SET AS HE COMES OUT WITH THE TWF WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. AFTER SEVERAL POSES SHOWING OFF HIS TREMENDOUS PHYSIQUE, MASTERS MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING. J.R.: "There was a time when Masters may not have ever lost the title when he had Mark Henry at his side, but that's how Masters wanted it, he never wanted Henry to get a title shot, and now that has happened". Lawler: "Well you can't blame Henry for wanting to be the at the top of the food chain, but you don't necessarily need to eat your friends to get there"! J.R.: "Well if Chris Masters was his friend, I'd hate to see what his enemies would do to him". TWF World Title Match Challenger: Mark Henry vs. Chris Masters When the bell sounded to get things started, the two powerhouses met in the center of the ring, exchanging haymakers. Henry knocked the champion into the corner and then slammed into him with a big body splash. After a drop suplex, Henry hit the ropes and looked for a big elbow but Masters rolled out of the way. Masters got a running start and tried to knock Henry down with a shoulderblock, but he barely budged him. After a kick to the gut, Masters went for an irish whip but Henry reversed it. Henry went for a clothesline but Masters ducked and he somehow got on the "Masterlock"! Masters was trying to overpower Henry, but Henry began to break the lock. Masters couldn't believe it and before the lock was broken, he hit Henry in the back with a forearm. Showing unbelievable strength, Masters picked Henry up for a backdrop suplex. He went for the cover, but Henry was up. Masters waited for Henry to get up and he tried to pick him up, but Henry clubbed him across the back before slapping on a big bear hug. Henry began to squeeze everything out of Masters as he had the bear hug in tight. Masters tried to break it with an ear clap, but Henry just picked him up and slammed him to the mat with a belly to belly. Henry then dropped a big elbow on Masters before climbing up to the middle turnbuckle. The massive Henry was very slow in doing so, however, and Masters got up and punched him in the lower abdomen, very close to a low blow, before he smashed Henry with his Polish Hammer club to the face. Henry fell to the mat, landing on the side of his head after the incredible blow and he looked like he was out. Masters pulled Henry to a seated position and then held his hands out in front of him. He slapped on the Masterlock, clasping his heads and he pushed down with all his might on the back of Henry's head and neck. Referee Jim Korderas moved in to check Henry's arms and he was almost lifeless as his right arm dropped. Patton dropped the arm one more time and he had seen enough, calling for the bell. Match Time: 6:22 Lawler: "Oh my gosh..... Masters just put Henry's lights out with the Masterlock"! J.R.: "I gotta say, if you told me that Chris Masters would retain his title with the Masterlock against Mark Henry, I would've called you a fool"! CHRIS MASTERS ROLLED OUT OF THE RING WITH HIS TITLE AND AN EXHAUSTED LOOK ON HIS FACE AS HIS MUSIC PLAYED AND HE WALKED UP THE RAMP. Lawler: "Chris Masters is on his way to WrestleMania after yet another successful title defense and J.R., this is quickly becoming one of the most impressive title reigns we've ever seen"! MASTERS GOT TO THE TOP OF THE RAMP AND HELD THE WORLD TITLE UP WITH BOTH HANDS AS THE CROWD RESPONDED WITH BOOS. J.R.: "I've said from the day this kid came to the TWF that he would be a star, but I would be lying if I said I expected him to do all of this, this quickly! What a great win, like him or not"! Lawler: "We might need a forklift out here if Mark Henry doesn't come to pretty soon"! ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM KATO AND SONNY ONOO ARE STANDING NEAR THE TUMBLER AS KATO HAS JUST DRAWN HIS NUMBER AND SHOWS IT TO ONOO. TALIA AND KELLY BOTH LET OUT A SCREAM WHEN CHAOS WOLF ENTERS THE ROOM TO DRAW HIS NUMBER, BUT SEES KATO AND ATTACKS HIM. SHANE McMAHON COMES INTO THE SHOT, TRYING TO PULL THE TWO MEN APART BEFORE SEVERAL OFFICIALS MOVE IN AND DO SO. Shane McMahon: "Get 'em out.... get that crap outta here! This goes for both of you, if either of you is involved in any kind of altercation tonight prior to the Royal Rumble, I will take action"! THE OFFICIALS PULL KATO OUT OF THE ROOM AS CHAOS WOLF STANDS ACROSS SHANE McMAHON AND THE TWO STARE EACH OTHER DOWN BEFORE WOLF LEAVES THE ROOM. THE SHOT GOES OVER TO LENA YADA, WHO IS STANDING OUTSIDE A CLOSED DOOR WHICH HAS JBL's LOGO ON IT. Lena Yada: "Hey, Lena here, and I am outside a door in which John Bradshaw Layfield is on the other side of, with an unknown TWF superstar. Now, I don't know what this is about, and I've been knocking, but no one will answer. I'll see if I can get anything else..... back to ringside". THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING WHERE "MISERIA CANTARE" IS PLAYING. ELIJAH BURKE AND SYLVESTER TERKAY ENTER THE RING WHERE A THRONE SITS. THERE IS ALSO A LONG RED ROBE AND A CROWN PROPPED UP IN THE RING. J.R.: "Well we are ready for the King of the Ring finals, but what is this stuff doing in the ring"? Cole: "Well the finals consists of two members from ECW, so it's anyone's guess as to what is going on here". HTM: "If Sylvester Terkay wants to continue to be in the spotlight, he'll do what's right here". Lawler: "And what would that be Honky Tonk Man? What would you do? I mean, we both know you would never get to anything like the King of the Ring finals, but lend the world your intuitive insight"! J.R.: "Calm down, King". Lawler: "No, J.R., I'm not gonna stand idly by and listen to this clown talk like he knows everything"! HTM: "Hey! Who you callin' a clown"?! HONKY TONK MAN RISES FROM HIS CHAIR, AS DOES LAWLER. MICHAEL COLE AND JIM ROSS DO THEIR BEST TO GET THEM TO SIT BACK DOWN, BUT THEIR ATTENTION IS DIVERTED WHEN THE CROWD REACTS TO JOE COREY COMING OUT FROM THE ECW ENTRANCE ALONG WITH PAUL HEYMAN, DUSTIN KASH, KATO, SONNY ONOO AND J.J. RAMPLIN. J.R.: "What the hell is going on here?! We've got the entire ECW group coming out here"! THE MEN ALL GET INTO THE RING, AND COREY ASKS FOR A MICROPHONE. Cole: "What the hell is going on here"? Joe Corey: "I know all of you people are expecting to see one more match in the King of the Ring tournament, but you can forget about that"! THE FANS BOO IN UNISON. J.R.: "What"? Corey: "ECW had a pact when this tournament started that if two of us made the finals, and one of them was myself, I would be instantly crowned the King of the Ring! And guess what? That's exactly what has happened, because ECW is comprised of the best athletes and the best superstars this business has to offer! Of course, being the leader of this group, I am at the top of that list! So Sylvester, you have made a very impressive run through this tournament. You have already said privately what you plan to do here, which is what we agreed upon. All I need now is for you to agree to it publicly so that I can be pronounced the King of the Ring! Do you agree"? SYLVESTER TERKAY STEPS FORWARD AND HE AND COREY LOOK ONE ANOTHER DEAD IN THE EYE. ELIJAH BURKE HAS GOTTEN ANOTHER MICROPHONE. Elijah Burke: "Yes! Yes, Joe, he agrees, don't make him look stupid! You know as well as I do what this guy is capable of..... let's just get on with it"! COREY EXTENDS HIS HAND AND AFTER A BRIEF HESITATION, TERKAY SHAKES IT. Lawler: "Something tells me this isn't what Terkay wants". HTM: "He's doing the right thing..... as I said he should"! COREY TAKES A SEAT IN THE THRONE AFTER PAUL HEYMAN PLACES THE ROBE OVER HIS SHOULDERS. FROM THERE, HEYMAN GRABS THE CROWN AND PLACES IT ON COREY's HEAD. J.R.: "This is absolutely disgusting"! Cole: "I just want to know what kind of man is okay with being handed something the way Joe Corey is right now"! HTM: "Complain all you want.... the ECW World champion is now also your King of the Ring"! Paul Heyman: "Ladies and gentlemen..... I give you the brand new TWF King of the Ring...... The Show Joe Corey"! SUDDENLY, THE CROWD's BOOS TURN TO CHEERS WHEN CHAOS WOLF RUNS OUT WIELDING A STEEL CHAIR. J.R.: "Wait a minute.... what the hell is this"?! KATO AND DUSTIN KASH TRY TO TAKE CHAOS WOLF OUT IN THE AISLE, BUT HE CRACKS THE CHAIR OVER THEIR HEAD. AFTER GETTING INTO THE RING, WOLF JABS THE CHAIR INTO THE GUT OF RAMPLIN BEFORE CRACKING IT OVER HIS BACK. HE THEN GETS A STRAIGHT SHOT ON COREY, KNOCKING HIM OUT OF THE THRONE! TERKAY AND BURKE HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF THE RING AND WOLF IS DARING THEM TO GET BACK IN. BUT ALL THEY CAN DO IS STAND AND WATCH AS COREY GETS BACK TO HIS KNEES AND WOLF SMACKS THE CHAIR ACROSS HIS HEAD AGAIN! THE FANS ARE GOING WILD AS WOLF GRABS THE ECW WORLD TITLE AND DROPS IT ACROSS COREY's CHEST BEFORE CHASING HEYMAN OUT OF THE RING AND PICKING UP ONE OF THE MICROPHONES. Cole: "Listen to this place..... Chaos Wolf has awakened them"! HTM: "He's an idiot.... he's ruined the coronation"! Chaos Wolf: "I'm sorry, but only a punk bitch would take a win like that! I knew in the back of my head that this would be a possibility, but I told ya, Corey, I wasn't done with you...... and I'm still not"! CHAOS WOLF SLAMS THE STEEL CHAIR DOWN AS "REMEMBER THE NAME" BY FORT MINOR COMES ON. WOLF SURVEYS THE DESTRUCTION BEFORE HEADING TO THE BACK TO A BIG CHEER. J.R.: "This doesn't change the fact that Sylvester Terkay has forfeited the King of the Ring over to the leader of ECW.... but Chaos Wolf took out the entire group"! Lawler: "Yeah, but I have a feeling he'll pay for it"! Cole: "I gotta say, after seeing Corey crowned in the fashion he was, I enjoyed every second of that"! HTM: "You would, Michael! But tell me, Lawler, what's it like to be in the presence of real royalty.... ya know, unlike yourself"?! Lawler: "I'm just gonna try to be calm, J.R., because if not, I'm gonna knock his teeth down his throat"! J.R.: "Let's just keep our emotions in check, King, we've got a lot of action still to call, including the Royal Rumble match! A SHOT IS SHOWN OF JOHN CENA TAPING HIS WRISTS BEFORE ONE IS SHOWN OF CARLITO DOING SOME SHADOWBOXING IN PREPARATION FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH. A SHOT IS THEN SHOWN OF TATANKA IN HIS LOCKER ROOM, MEDITATING. And there you see a few of the superstars that will be part of the thirty man field, getting ready". Lawler: "They can get ready all they want, J.R., but it's all about the number you enter with"! Cole: "Yes, but before we get to the Royal Rumble, we have one more match to get to and that is for the Universal title and boy, have we been waiting for this one". HTM: "In my opinion the top two superstars on PrimeTime and perhaps even the TWF. Randy Orton and Edge had that budding rivalry that has started to turn ugly over just who the better man is". "BURN IN MY LIGHT" BY MERCY DRIVE COMES ON AND BOOS FOLLOW IN MASS AS RANDY ORTON STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK. HIS PYRO RAINS DOWN FROM ABOVE THE SET BEFORE HE MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE RAMP, TO THE RING. Cole: "Now that is one confident look. Randy Orton steps into the Air Canada Centre tonight as the challenger, but he is also a three time Universal champion". HTM: "And it will be tough for Edge to make sure he's not a four time champion! Like you said, he has that look of confidence like he knows he's gonna win this one"! "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE HITS AND EDGE COMES OUT TO A HUGE CHEER FROM HIS HOMETOWN CROWD. AFTER RAISING THE UNIVERSAL TITLE OVER HIS HEAD, FIREWORKS AND PYRO POP OFF IN AN IMPRESSIVE DISPLAY. Cole: "Only in Toronto will Edge get it a cheer like this, but it was back in October, Edge won the Gates of Hell match at Eruption to become the Universal champion for the third time himself, and he hasn't looked back since". HTM: "Edge quite honestly has all the tools and if he can add a victory against Randy Orton to his resume, he will further his claim that he is the best this business has to offer, and you'll get no argument from me"! Cole: "This will be one fall to a finish, referee Mike Chioda has drawn this assignment, and there's the bell". TWF Universal Title Match Challenger: Randy Orton vs. Edge After some words from both men to start the match, they locked up in a collar and elbow tie and Edge was able to whip Orton over his body and get on a side headlock. Orton used a headscissor to escape the hold and both men got to their feet. Orton beat Edge to the punch, actually kicking him in the abdomen and then rocking him with a european uppercut. But Edge was able to reverse an irish whip and send Orton way up with a backbody drop. From there, Edge hit Orton with a low dropkick before putting the boots to him once back on his feet. Edge pulled Orton to his feet and whipped him to the corner, but Orton got a back elbow up as he followed him in. After a perfect standing dropkick, Orton showboated to the crowd, drawing several thousand boos. Now in control of the match, Orton performed his version of the 'Garvin Stomp', literally stomping every inch of his body. Orton then pulled Edge up by the hair and went for a suplex, but Edge blocked it and came back with one of his own. From there, Edge locked in a painful looking reverse Sharpshooter! The Canadian fans loved it, and Orton was in a lot of trouble. He fought the move for nearly a full minute before using everything he had left to scoot across the ring and grab the bottom rope. Edge broke the hold, but he was in great position to successfully defend his title. Edge got ready for the spear, but Orton was able to counter by punting Edge when he charged in! Edge fell back to the mat and he appeared to be out as Orton fell atop him and Chioda got down to count the 1........2........., but Edge got his right shoulder up, to the roar of the crowd. Both men got to their feet and Orton avoided a wild right hand, grabbing Edge around the neck and pulling him down hard across his back. Orton tried to catch Edge with the "RKO" when he got up, but Edge shoved him to the ropes. Orton came back with a dropkick, but Edge was able to swat it away. Edge grabbed Orton, looking for the "Edge-a-Cution", but Orton escaped and went for the RKO again. This time, Edge threw him into the corner and when Orton turned around, Edge slammed into him with the spear! Edge pulled Orton to the center of the ring and covered him, hooking the leg for the 1......2.......3! The crowd counted along and burst into a frenzy as Edge was handed the Universal title. Match Time: 7:28 Cole: "This Toronto crowd sure liked that, didn't they"?! HTM: "What a great win for Edge, who will now go on to WrestleMania to compete in one of the headline matches! This is great"! "METALINGUS" PLAYED AGAIN AS EDGE LEFT TO ONE HELL OF AN APPLAUSE. Cole: "It's like the Blue Jays won the World Series..... or the Maple Leafs winning the cup! This is incredible"! HTM: "And it's well deserved too! Edge defeated a very game Randy Orton, and he deserves every minute of this"! ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM THE SHOT GOES TO THE DRAWING ROOM, WHERE THERE IS ONE BALL LEFT INSIDE THE TUMBLER WHEN MONEY MIKE WALKS IN WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON. Money Mike: "Great.... I get stuck with the last number, huh? That's just perfect. MIKE REACHES IN AND PULLS OUT HIS NUMBER, TAKING A LOOK AT IT AND SHOWS IT TO STEPH. Ya know, babe, I was pretty pissed off about having to spend the last couple of days in this shithole they call Toronto, but this caps it off". Stephanie McMahon: "Looks like you'll just have to work overtime.... we both know you can do that". TALIA AND KELLY BOTH ROLL THEIR EYES AS THE PAIR LEAVES THE ROOM. THE SHOT GOES TO THE OFFICE OF SHANE McMAHON, WHO IS STANDING OUTSIDE HIS OPEN DOOR WITH LENA YADA. Lena Yada: "Shane, we're about ready for the Royal Rumble to start, but you have an announcement to make"? Shane McMahon: "Yes, Lena, I do. I said earlier that if Chaos Wolf interjected himself physically into anything other than the Royal Rumble tonight, I would be forced to take action. We all saw him crash the King of the Ring coronation earlier, so I have been left with no choice but to remove him from tonight's Royal Rumble and replace him with ECW's Dustin Kash". Lena Yada: "Wow, harsh punishment". Shane: "Yes, it is. But since Wolf wants to get physical with Joe Corey so bad, he will get the chance to do that. Because on our special two hundreth episode of PrimeTime, which is coming up, he will challenge Corey for the ECW World title". Lena Yada: "Wow, big news, alright, let's send it back down to the ring where we are just about ready for the 2008 Royal Rumble to get started". J.R.: "Thank you, Lena, I guess I'm gonna call this thing with the Honky Tonk Man. Someone in the back thought it'd be a bad idea to have he and the King handle it..... I can't figure out why". HTM: "Smart choice". Howard Finkel: "Ladies and gentlemen.... it is now time for the Royal Rumble"! THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERS J.R.: "Superstars have been drawing numbers all night and Honky, we both know that there is no match in the TWF that can catapult a career quite like this one"! HTM: "And now let's see who drew number one"! THE FANS BOO WHEN DEUCE N' DOMINO's MUSIC HITS. DOMINO COMES OUT IN A BLACK LEATHER JACKET AND DARK SHADES. J.R.: "Well fans, don't adjust your tv set, this is not a rerun of the Ed Sullivan Show, that is in fact Domino of Deuce N' Domino and a bit of an unfortunate draw for the greaser"! HTM: "For the greaser? I doubt you'd say that to his face, J.R.! I mean, I realize things are a little different in your podunk hometown in Oklahoma, but I like these guys"! "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" IS HEARD AND RIC FLAIR's MUSIC PLAYS, BRINGING HIM OUT TO A STANDING OVATION. J.R.: "Well would you look at this! The Nature Boy, all fifty nine years old, has drawn number two"! HTM: "Well as great as Flair may be, there is no way he wins this thing! Do you realize what he'll have to do to win it"?! J.R.: "It is an unlikely task, but if anyone can do it, I wouldn't bet against Naitch"! 2008 Royal Rumble Match The bell sounded to start the match and Flair walked up to Domino, stretching his hand out. Domino went to shake it, but Flair thumbed him in the eye and belted him across the chest with a knifedge. Flair then backed Domino into corner and hit him with right hands to the head and body. Flair went for an irish whip but Domino reversed it and Flair was upended in the corner, landing on the apron. Flair ran along the apron and Domino went for a clothesline, but Flair ducked and caught him with a knifedge when he turned around. Flair then went to the top rope but Domino grabbed him and slammed him to the mat. The crowd began to count down from 10 as #3 entered the fray..... it was Bobby Lashley. Lashley got in and went right to work on Domino, taking him down with a big clothesline. Flair got up, only to be speared by Lashley! Lashley pulled Flair up, and threw him over the top rope. Somehow, Flair was able to hold on and roll back into the ring. Domino took some shots at Lashley, but Lashley kicked him in the gut and got him up for the Dominator. Before he could deliver it, Flair came from behind with a chop block on Lashley. Flair and Domino now worked together to take on the big man, before the fourth entry came out to a huge pop..... Jordan Rockwell! Rockwell came in and hit anything that moved, dropping Flair with a clothesline and catching Domino with a big powerslam. After putting Domino down with the Scarlet Fever, Rockwell stood nose to nose with Lashley. A showdown was looming but "King of Kings" by Motorhead hit and Money Mike came out next. Mike was very slow approaching the ring, having some words with some of the crowd. But when he got in, Lashley and Rockwell were waiting for him. Mike became a punching bag for the two, as Rockwell hit him with a right hand and Lashley came back with one of his own. Rockwell and Lashley seemed to be trying to out-do each other, until Domino came from behind with an axe handle to the back of Rockwell. Buying his time, Flair just rested in a seated position in the corner. Snitsky was the next guy out and he was definitely looking to make a big impact, smashing Lashley and Domino with clotheslines. Rockwell took his shot at Snitsky, but Snitsky kicked him right in the face. Snitsky then set his sights on Flair and Mike went and pulled the Nature Boy up, feeding him to Snitsky, who dropped him with a violent gutbuster slam. Domino had Rockwell reeling against the ropes after 4 right hands, but when he backed up and ran at him, Rockwell lowbridged the top rope and Domino went sailing to the floor. Lashley and Money Mike traded right hands until Lashley blocked one and grabbed Mike under each arm, throwing him into the corner. Lashley looked like he was going to go for a spear in the corner, but Snitsky drilled him with a running boot right in the side of the head, and Lashley was eliminated. Homicide, the entry from Badlandz, came out at #7. Money Mike and Rockwell sought each other out again, and they were all over each other on one side of the ring. Looking to make a good showing for Badlandz, Homicide went after Flair, catching him with a step-up enziguri. He then went toe to toe with Snitsky, ducking a big boot and blasting him with several kicks to the legs. Homicide then went to the top rope and flew off with a flying kick to the head of Snitsky. Flair slowly got to his feet, and he made his way over to the brawl between Mike and Rockwell, and with great position, Flair dumped Rockwell over the top! Mike loved seeing this, but Flair got his mind back on the action with a knifedge. Mike popped Flair with a stiff right hand, but after a kick to the back of the head by Homicide, Mike was eliminated by Flair! Flair had some words for Mike as he hit the floor. Kato, the first entry for ECW, had come in at #8 and Deuce followed him. Flair was now tangling with the other half of the tag team, as Deuce roughed him up with shots to the body. Homicide came over to help the Nature Boy, but Snitsky smashed him in the back of the head with a clothesline. Lance Cade and Gregory Helms were now part of the match and Cade quickly got rid of Kato, throwing him out from behind. Cade and Snitsky began to double team Homicide as Helms and Flair went at it. Flair knocked Helms to the mat with a chop but Deuce struck the Nature Boy with a hard knee to the back. Deuce then tried to hip toss Flair out of the ring, but Flair raked his eyes and switched positions, hip tossing Deuce out of the ring! Helms got up and kicked Flair in the gut, followed by a big neckbreaker. Cade and Snitsky had now turned their attention to each other, and they rocked each other with some hard shots. After dispatching Helms, Homicide tried to get Flair out, but Flair had plenty of leverage with the ropes. Helms came from behind to help out, but Flar still wouldn't go. Flair elbowed Homicide before dropping Helms with a right hand. But Homicide put Flair down with a DDT, only to be thrown out by Helms! Homicide hit the apron in frustration. As that was going on, CM Punk and Umaga had both joined the match. Punk actually high fived Homicide before he left but on the other side of the ring, Flair was able to drop Helms out of the ring. Snitsky came from behind and turned Flair over the top, but Flair landed on the apron and rolled back in. Using his boot, Snitsky choked Flair by standing on his throat. Mr. Kennedy came in at #14 and he and Punk tried to bring down the Samoan Bulldozer. Lance Cade came over and hit Kennedy in the back before making eye contact with Umaga, but Umaga threw a superkick at Punk. Punk avoided it and then drilled Cade with the Uranagi! Punk ran the ropes, but Kevin Thorn was on his way out and Thorn jammed his walking stick into Punk's back as he hit the ropes. In a lot of pain, Punk turned and took a swing at Thorn, but Cade came from behind and eliminated him. Flair was still in a lot of trouble with Snitsky, who was just hammering him. Kennedy was stuck in between Umaga and Lance Cade, who now had Kevin Thorn helping them. Umaga pulled Kennedy up and whipped him into the corner but when he flew in with a body splash, Kennedy moved and Umaga hit the steel post head first! Umaga then fell over and landed on the floor. Umaga tried to get back in, but the many referees outside informed him he was out. Kennedy then avoided a lariat by Cade just as Flair got in a low blow on Snitsky. The Intercontinental champion Thorn grabbed his walking stick again, but Kennedy kicked him in the groin and threw him over the top rope! In an interesting note, it was Thorn that eliminated Kennedy in last year's Royal Rumble. Tatanka was the next man out and he had a tomahawk chop for everyone in the ring until he came face to face with Snitsky. Cade got to his feet and ran across the ring, trying to clothesline Flair out, but Flair backdropped him over the top and to the floor. Cade was very upset about the elimination as he was escorted to the back. Flair stood at the foot of the ring, smiling at Cade, but that was his one mistake. Snitsky came from behind and lifted Flair out of the ring. The Toronto crowd gave Flair a huge ovation for his 18 minutes in the ring that included 5 eliminations. Carlito came into the ring and tried to help Kennedy battle Tatanka and the seemingly unstoppable Snitsky. But Snitsky took Kennedy and Carlito down with clotheslines before catching Tatanka off guard with a kick to the head. When "TNT" by AC/DC came on, the fans began looking all over the arena. Out of one of the tunnels came Chris Tirpak, carrying a kendo stick. Snitsky invited him to get into the ring and Tirpak did. Snitsky took a swing but Tirpak ducked and smacked him with the kendo stick, and then again. After a third shot with the kendo stick, Tirpak clotheslined Snitsky out of the ring. Chris Platoon was the next man out and Eddie Saint James followed him. Platoon and The Saint seemed to form a quick allegiance as they went after Kennedy. Tirpak grabbed Tatanka and was ready to hit him with what was left of his kendo stick when Carlito came from behind with the Backcracker. Carlito then dropkicked Tatanka over the top rope. But Carlito wasn't far behind as Platoon threw him out. PJ Cash came into the match with the 21st selection, and he seemed very motivated, hitting everyone in the match with a right hand before catching Tirpak with the "Cash Register". Sebastian Cain and Dustin Kash, who got Chaos Wolf's spot, were the next two men in the match. Cain stood off to the side, watching the other men tear into each other until moving in and nailing Kennedy with a discus punch. Tirpak then pulled Kennedy up and tried to throw him over the top, getting him to the apron. But Kennedy showed some incredible athleticism, grabbing Tirpak around the head with his legs and pulling him out of the ring! As PJ Cash eliminated Chris Platoon, Kennedy "skinned the cat" and had a very crazed look in his eyes. Amazingly, Kennedy eliminated The Saint, PJ Cash, Cain and Dustin Kash in succession, much to the crowd's surprise. Kennedy now stood alone in the ring, but he looked exhausted as the buzzer sounded to bring out #24. And it was J.J. Ramplin! Ramplin ran to the ring and the crowd, now on their feet, took in every shot as they went back and forth. Ramplin was able to catch Kennedy with a spinebuster before driving several hard right hands into his head and face. Ramplin then got up and backed up, looking for the Ram's Horns. Kennedy got up and took a page out of Randy Orton's book, kicking Ramplin square in the head. Kennedy then took Ramplin down with a hard STO as Matt Cruz came out with the next entry. Cruz went for Ramplin, almost turning him over with the "Colorado Cloverleaf" before Kennedy kicked him in the head. Kennedy pulled Cruz in for a DDT but Cruz lifted him up and dropped him on the apron. Cruz then ran at Kennedy but Kennedy used the top rope to slingshot himself back in, catching Cruz with a terrific clothesline. Out next was Jason Oliver and he had history with every guy in the ring, but he first went for Kennedy, knocking him down with a perfect superkick. After a northern lights suplex on Cruz, Oliver saw Ramplin about to eliminate Kennedy when he came from behind and threw him over the top. Oliver tried to get Kennedy out as well, but Kennedy used a mule kick before catching Oliver with a very nice jumping roundhouse kick. Trevor Murdoch came in with the 27th selection, and with a wad of chew in his mouth, he was on fire. After a hard right hand knocked Cruz down, Murdoch used a variation of a flipping sunset flip/piledriver on Kennedy. But Oliver was preying on Murdoch, smoking him with a superkick when he got up and then clotheslining him out of the ring. John Cena came out to a mixture of boos and cheers, regardless, it was one of the biggest cheers of the night. Oliver tried his hand at Cena first, but Cena, already a two time Rumble winner, blocked a right hand and got Oliver up for the "F-U". But Cruz came from behind, saving Oliver with a shot to the back of Cena. Oliver used that to turn right on Cruz, lowblowing him from behind and throwing him out. Just as this elimination was going on, Shawn Michaels came out next. Kennedy wasn't paying attention, and Michaels erased him with a superkick. Michaels and Oliver then locked up, trading right hands and chops. Michaels whipped him to the ropes and nailed him with a flying forearm before nipping up, but Cena was waiting with his spinning side suplex on HBK. Kennedy used the ropes to pull himself up, and Cena got him up on his shoulders. Kennedy fought his way out of the F-U and pushed Cena right into Oliver and the two cracked heads. The buzzer sounded for the final time and it was for #30, Triple H from SlaughterHouse. Triple H, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Jason Oliver and Kennedy represented the final 5. Triple H wanted to establish his dominance early and he did, dropping Kennedy with the Pedigree. Triple H then went to his one time D-X running mate Shawn Michaels, and the two went at it, trying to eliminate the other. Oliver and Cena were jockeying for position in the corner, and showing his true strength, Cena lifted Oliver up and just threw him to the floor. Michaels was able to fight off Triple H and he tried to superkick Kennedy again. But this time, Kennedy was paying attention and he dropped his head, getting his head right under Michaels' kicking leg which allowed him to backdrop him out of the ring! It was now down to three. Triple H, Cena and Kennedy circled each other, waiting for someone to make a move. Finally, Kennedy lunged at Triple H, but Triple H kicked him in the gut before sending him to the corner. Cena then caught Kennedy with a clothesline but turned right into a boot from Triple H, who loaded him up for the Pedigree. Cena was able to counter with a backbody drop and then he rocked Triple H with 3 right hands followed by a big clothesline after hitting the ropes. Cena got ready for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, but before he could do it, Kennedy came from behind with a jump kick to the back of the head. From there, Kennedy went to the top rope but Cena got up and punched him in the gut before climbing up the turnbuckle, getting Kennedy on his shoulders. But Kennedy raked the eyes and got Cena up on his shoulders somehow.... possibly looking for the Lambeau Leap. But Kennedy thought better of it and simply dropped Cena to the floor for the elimination! Kennedy then flew off the top with the Ken-Ton Bomb but Triple H rolled out of the way. The fans were on their feet as chants of "KENNEDY" were followed by chants of "TRIPLE H". Both men got to their feet, throwing punches with everything they had left. Kennedy whipped Triple H to the ropes, but he put his head down too early and Triple H hit the facebuster to the knee. After a stiff clothesline, Triple H pulled Kennedy up and tried to throw him out, but Kennedy held on with everything he had. Kennedy was able to force Triple H to the apron. But Triple H grabbed him and he was actually about to suplex Kennedy out of the ring, but Kennedy blocked it and nailed him with a right hand. Kennedy then went for a running yakuza kick, but Triple H moved to the side of avoid it. After getting back in the ring, Triple H ran the ropes and nailed the Harley Race knee. Triple H then pulled Kennedy up and pulled him in for the Pedigree, but this time, Kennedy swung out of it and dropkicked Triple H into the ring ropes. The Game charged back with a clothesline but Kennedy ducked and grabbed him by the back of the head, tossing him over the rope and to the floor! J.R.: "Yes..... he has done it! Mr. Kennedy has completed one hell of an effort to win the 2008 Royal Rumble"! HTM: "This is definitely a bit of a surprise..... I didn't expect to see this guy standing here at the end"! J.R.: "Especially with the number he came in at and all the superstars that stood in his way! This is truly one of the best Royal Rumble performances we have ever seen"! "MISTERRRRRRR KENNEDYYYYYYYY" WAS HEARD AND KENNEDY's MUSIC PLAYED AS THE ENTIRE CROWD WAS ON THEIR FEET CHEERING. IN THE RAFTERS OF THE ARENA, THE WRESTLEMANIA 9 LOGO HAD BEEN LOWERED, AND KENNEDY POINTED TO IT IN A VERY SYMBOLIC GESTURE. HTM: "Well that is the prize..... Mr. Kennedy has just punched his ticket.... a golden ticket to WrestleMania"! J.R.: "A truly amazing performance.... one for the ages! We thank you for joining us for the 2008 Royal Rumble, what a night"! Most Eliminations: Mr. Kennedy: 9 Most Time in the Ring: Mr. Kennedy: 36 minutes
