A cord strikes and an eerie tune, the same one used in the movie "Last House on the Left" begins to play as the New York skyline is shown in the dark of night. The camera pans down to show what appears to be a severe riot. The sound of breaking glass then, several vehicles pull up and stop on a dark, desolate street corner. Several men emerge and a fight is on. However, one man, seemingly unaffected by the brawl, walks right past, the sound of his boots tapping against the pavement each step he takes. In his right hand is a black plastic bag. A slew of NYPD squad cars pulls up and multiple officers jump out, guns drawn. Audio Voiceover: "Tonight....... the biggest brawl the world has seen takes over the Big Apple........ tonight, millions will watch as thirty men look to claim a spot in the biggest event their trade has to offer...... tonight, millions around the world will bear witness to a war............ a war where only one man will emerge...... Friendship means nothing........... The man continues to walk down the sidewalk, paying no attention to the madness behind him. A metal trash can comes into the shot, a fire has been set inside it. The man passes the trash can, at the same time removing the contents of the bag and tossing it in. The camera moves over and looks directly into the trash can. Inside the flames....... is a hockey mask. For tonight....... is the Royal Rumble".

The Times Union Center comes into the shot and the place is literally shaking with excitement. The Royal Rumble set is the New York skyline in the back and the ramp has been set up with a paved road, complete with double yellow line. On top of the set, in between two large buildings, is a large clock that will count down to the next entrant in the Royal Rumble match. The Rampage announce position is shown with Jim Ross seated next to Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Jim Ross: "Hello TWF fans and can you believe that this will be our eleventh Royal Rumble"!

Jerry Lawler: "No I can't.... it seems like just yesterday we were sitting in Anaheim for the first one, but we're in the Big Apple tonight for the biggest one of all"!

J.R.: "And because of that, we've got help tonight, King, let's set it over to our colleagues from PrimeTime"!

SCOTT HUDSON AND THE HONKY TONK MAN ARE SHOWN, EACH WEARING A HEADSET.

Scott Hudson: "Thank you J.R. and Honky Tonk Man, three huge title matches tonight before we get to the main event..... one of the most exciting matches every year..... the Royal Rumble match".

Honky Tonk Man: "I heard there were still two open spots in the Rumble match and I did my best to get one of them but I was told they were filled...... filled by a couple of guys who don't have any business even being in the ring"!

Hudson: "Well before you go and blurt it out, let's send it up to the ring for our opening bout".

MOMENTS LATER, "ON YOUR KNEES" COMES ON AND JACK SWAGGER COMES OUT TO NOTHING BUT BOOS.

J.R.: "And here comes the man from my native Oklahoma and King, all that Sooner stuff aside, I like his chances tonight".

Lawler: "Wait a minute.... did I just hear the Honky Tonk Man talk about people who don't belong in a wrestling ring? Maybe he did get one of the spots in the Rumble and he's just playing dumb"!

J.R.: "We found out on the last Rampage that Rowdy Roddy Piper had come up with the TWF's version of March Madness and each man that will take part in this fatal four way match each had to win one just to get here".

BREAKING POINT's "ONE OF A KIND" PLAYS AND ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT BEFORE PYRO POPS OFF ON THE SET.

Lawler: "And let's not forget what this man here is capable of..... a former Royal Rumble winner himself, this event has been good to RVD".

"WANTED MAN" BY REV THEORY COMES ON AND J.J. RAMPLIN COMES OUT, RECEIVING A BIG CHEER.

J.R.: "And the theme of the night is elimination so this match will be a fatal four way elimination. Which one of these men possesses the right combination of skill and stamina to win this match tonight"?

Lawler: "And don't forget, Randy Orton gets the winner of this match and if they have to overextend themselves here, it will only be to his advantage".

"YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME" LEADS INTO "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE. LOUD BOOS FOLLOW AS EDGE STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK AND POINTS RAISES BOTH ARMS AS PYRO BLASTS OFF THE SET.

J.R.: "You can bet that wherever the viper Randy Orton is, he's keeping close tabs on this one".

Lawler: "Well I like Edge..... Edge has been there before and not that the rest of these guys aren't big match performers, but I think Edge has got to be considered the favorite here tonight".

J.R.: "A former four time Universal champion, it's hard to argue that".

March Madness Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match

Jack Swagger vs. Rob Van Dam vs. J.J. "The Ram" Ramplin vs. Edge

As the match started, it was very clear that sides would be drawn. Edge and Swagger stood on one side of the ring while Ramplin and Van Dam took up the other. RVD and The Ram gave each other a look before going in. RVD caught Swagger with a kick to the gut while Ramplin began to trade blows with Edge. Edge went low with a punch before hitting the ropes but Ramplin recovered with a big clothesline. RVD hit Swagger with more kicks but when he went for a jump kick, Swagger showed his strength by catching him and just throwing him over the top rope to the floor. He then charged across the ring and smashed Ramplin with a clothesline before beating his chest to the boos of the crowd. Edge staggered to his feet but as is customary for the Royal Rumble- no friends. Swagger cracked him with a kick to the face and made the first cover of the match, but the surprised Edge got a shoulder up at 2. Swagger cruising as he picked up Ramplin and delivered a belly to belly suplex but before he could follow up, Edge rocked him with 3 straight right hands, knocking him to the corner. Edge then got up on the middle turnbuckle and tried to get in some more shots but Swagger pushed him to the mat. RVD was back in the ring and he smoked Swagger with a spinning heel kick before landing the Rolling Thunder on Edge. RVD got up and pointed his thumbs towards his shoulders but when he turned around, BAM, Ramplin barreled over him with the Ram's Horn's and covered him to make RVD the first elimination of the match. Ramplin tried to collect himself but he didn't have much time to do so as Edge hammered him from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. Edge then tried to get on the same page as Swagger, motioning to him for something. Swagger got a smile on his face before Edge pulled Ramplin up and shot him to the ropes. As Ramplin came back, Swagger moved into the shot and they pushed him up into the air, what had to be 10 feet, and on the way down, they both gave him an extra push in the back. Ramplin hit the mat face first and Swagger rolled him over, hooking the outside leg as referee Chad Patton issued a 3 count. Swagger got up, showboating and turned around just in time to see Edge charging at him for the spear. Swagger moved out of the way and when Edge crashed into the turnbuckle, Swagger came from behind with a backdrop suplex. Swagger then took a running start and used the ropes in the corner to sling himself into the air, looking for his 'Swagger Splash'. He landed it hard and hooked the leg of Edge for a 1................2.........., but that was all. Swagger had Edge in trouble and he tried to get him up for the gutwrench powerbomb. Before he could execute it, Edge popped him in the forehead multiple times before landing on Swagger as he fell back. Edge then pulled him up and tried to slap on the Edge-a-Cution, but Swagger slipped free. The brawl continued for several more minutes and both men looked spent after Edge hit a flying clothesline off the middle turnbuckle. He went for a cover but Swagger pushed free at 2 and a half. Again, Edge set up for the spear. Swagger got to his feet and turned around and this time, he impressively leapfrogged the oncoming 'Rated R Superstar'. Edge stopped short of the corner this time and was able to duck a clothesline. All at one time, he wrapped his arms around Swagger and rolled him backwards into a pinning predicament to get a 1..............2...............3!

Match Time: 15:09

Lawler: "Edge got him..... Edge has won March Madness"!

J.R.: "Edge has advanced to face Randy Orton later tonight with the TWF World title on the line"!

SWAGGER ARGUED THE DECISION BY PATTON, SAYING HE GOT UP BEFORE THE 3 COUNT. BUT BEFORE SWAGGER's TANTRUM COULD GO ANY FURTHER, HE TURNED RIGHT INTO A SPEAR FROM EDGE!

Lawler: "And now Swagger gets a spear for his troubles"!

J.R.: "A great effort by the All American American, but it's the night of the Rated R Superstar who is now just one step away from being World champion"!

EDGE IS SHOWN STANDING IN THE RAMP, LOOKING BACK AT THE FALLEN SWAGGER AS "METALINGUS" PLAYS AGAIN.

Lawler: "Man, I really like this March Madness idea! Kudos to Piper.... never thought I'd say that".

BACKSTAGE AREA...... ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM......

CAMERAS SHOW A LARGE GOLDEN TUMBLER WITH SEVERAL PLASTIC BUBBLES CONTAINING NUMBERS INSIDE. KELLY IS ON ONE SIDE AND EVE TORRES IS ON THE OTHER. BOTH LADIES LOOK ESPECIALLY BEAUTIFUL ON THIS NIGHT. JOE COREY AND PJ CASH ENTER THE ROOM TO SELECT THEIR NUMBERS.

Joe Corey: "Make way ladies....... (looks at Cash) You wanna pick first"?

PJ Cash: "No, go ahead, you pick first".

COREY REACHES HIS HAND INTO THE TUMBLER AND PULLS OUT A NUMBER, CASH FOLLOWS. THE TWO MEN SHOW EACH OTHER THEIR NUMBERS BEFORE LEAVING THE ROOM.

THE THEME SONG FOR SHEAMUS, "WRITTEN IN MY FACE", COMES ON AND HE COMES OUT TO NOTHING BUT BOOS.

J.R.: "We said at the top of the broadcast that in edition to the Royal Rumble match, we have three massive title matches tonight and King, here comes the first".

Lawler: "And this one sticks out to me because this man, Sheamus, has already pinned the King of Cable champion Sebastian Cain twice"!

"BLACK" BY SEVENDUST COMES ON NEXT AND SEBASTIAN CAIN STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE STRAPPED TIGHTLY AROUND HIS WAIST.

J.R.: "Where here comes the champion, a proud, fighting King of Cable champion, but he will have his hands full tonight with the Celtic Warrior".

Lawler: "He's been one of the best champions the TWF has ever seen but I'm tellin' ya, J.R., he has met his match in Sheamus".

J.R.: "This one will be one fall to a finish and of course the championship can only change hands on a pinfall or submission".

TWF King of Cable Title Match

Challenger: Sheamus vs. Sebastian Cain

Cain got into the ring after sliding the title in first and Sheamus went right for his bicycle kick. But he missed badly and Cain used a tackle to take Sheamus to the mat before pounding him with rights and lefts. Referee Jose Mendez quickly handed the belt to the timekeeper as an unusually aggressive Cain was all over Sheamus. He pulled him up and kicked him multiple times in the ribs while he held the ring ropes for leverage. Sheamus doubled over in pain as Cain ran the ropes, jumped off the mat about 3 feet and tomahawk chopped the back of his head. Cain moved in for more offense but Sheamus was waiting with a kick to the abdomen followed by a stiff gutwrench suplex. This was the move Sheamus needed to bring him back into the match. Cain got up, but the Celtic Warrior put him right back down with a clothesline. He pulled the champion to his feet and shot him to the corner but when he charged in, Cain was waiting with a back elbow. Mendez went to check on Sheamus and curiously, Cain removed the padding on the top turnbuckle in the corner. With a steel bolt now exposed, Cain came off the middle turnbuckle but Sheamus caught him in mid air and had him in a bear hug. From there, Sheamus just rag-dolled Cain to the mat and the prospects were looking up for the challenger. Sheamus took notice of the missing turnbuckle pad and strangely, Mendez made no attempt to fix it. After scooping Cain up, Sheamus threw him over his head with a fallaway slam, letting out a primal yell along with the move. Sheamus went into the cover, but Cain was up at 2. Sheamus could feel it now, moving in on Cain. He picked him up and seemed to be setting up his big backbreaker but Cain escaped his clutches with a hard back elbow to the side of the head. After getting free, Cain scored with a kick to the jaw before running the ropes but Sheamus picked him up and fell backwards with him, right onto the exposed bolt! Mendez was beside himself when he saw blood pouring from the face of Cain. Sheamus tried to move in, but Mendez forced him back in order to check on Cain. Cain's face was a crimson mask. The source of the blood couldn't be seen but he was in a bad way. Mendez looked ready to stop the match but Cain shoved him aside, opening him up to the Bicycle kick which he walked right into. Sheamus covered Cain and got the 3 count as a new champion was crowned.

J.R.: "I don't know what Sebastian Cain was thinking there, but he had so much blood in his eyes that he never saw that kick coming"!

Lawler: "I don't know whether to call Cain gutsy or stupid, but one thing is for sure, his long reign as champion has been ended here tonight at the Royal Rumble".

SHEAMUS' THEME SONG PLAYED AGAIN AS HE WALKED UP THE RAMP HOLDING THE TITLE HIGH IN HIS RIGHT HAND. A FEW EMT's WERE NOW AT RINGSIDE TO TREAT THE SEVERE WOUND ON CAIN's HEAD.

J.R.: "Medical attention now being administered here to the former champion......a tough break for him, but he'll be back.

BACKSTAGE AREA......

MR. KENNEDY IS SHOWN WALKING THROUGH THE BACK WHEN HE BUMPS INTO ARIEL, WHO SEEMS STARTLED.

Mr. Kennedy: "Whoa..... uh, don't bite me or anything".

Ariel: "You'll step aside.... if you know what's good for you".

Mr. Kennedy: "Oh, that's right, your man is in the Universal title match tonight so that makes you queen, right? Ya know, Thorn and I have a little history in the Royal Rumble..... history we won't get to continue tonight. I mean, we've eliminated each other from the Rumble match, what, three.... four years running now"?

Ariel: "Kevin Thorn and the Requiem have more important things to deal with tonight...... step aside".

MR. KENNEDY THROWS UP HIS HANDS AND MOVES AWAY AS ARIEL WALKS PAST. THE SHOT THEN GOES TO ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM.

RICHARD RAMSLEY AND TROY GAFGEN ENTER, EACH SELECTING A NUMBER.

Eve Torres: "Wait a minute, aren't you the guy that just got fined for hitting a referee"?

GAFGEN STEPS UP BUT RAMSLEY PUTS OUT HIS ARM TO STOP HIM. HE THEN LEANS IN REAL CLOSE TO THE FACE OF EVE.

Richard Ramsley: "My, aren't we observant? Trouble is....... neither of us cares about being fined..... so I'd suggest you keep the comments and stupid questions to yourself".

EVE TAKES A GULP AND BACKS AWAY AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING.

J.R.: "Fans we are just about ready for our next match, but moments ago, here is how Sebastian Cain left the ring".

A REPLAY SHOWS SEBASTIAN CAIN BEING HELPED UP THE RAMP BY EMT's AND HIS NEW FOUND FRIEND, MUHAMMAD HASSAN. HE HAS A TOWEL OVER HIS FACE.

Lawler: "A disappointing setback for sure for Sebastian Cain but like you said, J.R., he will definitely bounce back".

"I'M THE MOUNTIE" STARTS TO PLAY AND CHRIS JERICHO COMES OUT ALONG WITH THE MOUNTIE, WHO HAS HIS CATTLE PROD IN HAND.

Scott Hudson: "Well, it looks like Chris Jericho is going to accompany The Mountie to the ring, which is really no surprise and he also has that shock stick that he zapped The Undertaker with at War in the Winter"!

Honky Tonk Man: (singing) "He's the Mountie..... he's handsome, he's brave, he's strong! He's the.......

Hudson: "Oh would you stop? He's on the way out here to meet his maker.... that's what he is".

THE LIGHTS GO OUT IN THE ARENA AND THE ANTICIPATION BEGINS TO BUILD AS A BELL TOLLS.

HTM: "Oh I know, you and all these people here in Albany want to see The Undertaker get his revenge but if he's not careful, he might have a few thousand volts go through his body again"!

Hudson: "The Undertaker still hasn't come out..... he's really making The Mountie think about this".

FOG CAN BE SEEN IN THE AISLE AS THE UNDERTAKER's MUSIC PLAYS. THERE IS STILL NO SIGHT OF HIM. BUT MOMENTS LATER, THE LIGHTS COME ON AND THE UNDERTAKER IS IN THE RING, BEHIND THE MOUNTIE. JERICHO LOOKS LIKE HE's SEEN A GHOST AND JUMPS OUT OF THE RING.

HTM: "Turn around..... he's behind you! Shock the hell outta him"!

THE MOUNTIE TURNS AROUND AND IS MET WITH A KICK TO THE FACE. THE CATTLE PROD GOES FLYING AND REFEREE CHARLES ROBINSON KICKS IT OUT OF THE RING BEFORE CALLING FOR THE BELL TO START THE MATCH.

The Undertaker vs. The Mountie w/ Chris Jerich0

Jericho could only watch as The Undertaker laid his heavy hands into The Mountie, knocking him into the corner and just beating the hell out of him. After grabbing The Mountie by the back of the head, Taker just launched him across the ring before delivering a big elbow drop. The Mountie scooted to the corner moments later and was begging the deadman off. But Undertaker showed no compassion, stomping right on his chest. Jericho finally got on the apron and Undertaker went towards him, throwing a wild right hand. Jericho ducked and jumped off the apron and The Mountie came from behind with a chop block. He then showed some power by lifting the 6 foot 10, 300 pounder up and dropping him on the back of his head with a backdrop suplex. Mountie asked Jericho for the cattle prod and despite the threat of a disqualification from Robinson, Jericho handed it to him anyway. The Mountie turned towards The Undertaker with the device in hand but Taker got up and punched The Mountie in the throat area. After a huge boot to the face, Taker picked up The Mountie and went to the ring ropes. After walking across the top rope, Taker flew down with a clubbing shot to the back of The Mountie as the crowd all yelled "Old School". The Mountie was down, seemingly in a lot of pain, holding his throat. Undertaker decided to end his misery, covering him for the 3 count.

Match Time: 4:58

Hudson: "This one is over and Jericho, I hope you realize you have entered a world you know nothing about".

HTM: "What are you saying?! Do you really think Jericho is afraid of The Undertaker? This isn't a horror movie, Hudson, it's the TWF"!

Hudson: "Oh boy! It looks like things are about to get a lot worse for The Mountie"!

THE UNDERTAKER DRAGGED THE MOUNTIE TO HIS FEET AND LIFTED HIM UP, DRIVING HIM INTO THE MAT WITH ONE OF THE HARSHEST TOMBSTONES IN A LONG TIME. AS THIS WAS GOING ON, A MAN DRESSED AS A DRUID HAD COME DOWN TO RINGSIDE, HOLDING A BODYBAG. SEEING THIS, JERICHO WENT TO THE BACK IN A HURRY.

Hudson: "Look at Jericho, he's throwing The Mountie to the wolves"!

HTM: "What's he supposed to do?! There's a guy with a bodybag"!

THE UNDERTAKER WAS HANDED THE BODYBAG AND HE LAID IT OUT, OPENING IT UP. HE THEN ROLLED THE MOUNTIE INTO IT. AFTER CLOSING HIM INSIDE, THE UNDERTAKER's MUSIC PLAYED AGAIN AS THE LIGHTS WENT OUT.

HTM: "I don't believe this".

Hudson: "A very serious side shown here by The Undertaker tonight. Hey Jericho, any other bright ideas"?

AFTER EXITING THE RING, THE UNDERTAKER PULLED THE BAG OUT WITH HIM AND SLUNG IT OVER HIS SHOULDER, WALKING UP THE RAMP WITH THE MOUNTIE STILL INSIDE.

HTM: "You can't do this! He can't just go putting people in bodybags"!

Hudson: "Well he just did...... hopefully for The Mountie, he finds himself somewhere in Canada again".

BACKSTAGE........

TODD GRISHAM IS SHOWN WITH EDGE WHO STILL HAS BEADS OF SWEAT AND ON HIS BODY FROM HIS EARLIER MATCH.

Todd Grisham: "Edge, coming up next, you will challenge Randy Orton for the TWF World title after winning Rowdy Roddy Piper's March Madness. However, you will have to do so after having already competed tonight so............

Edge: "Just get to the point! Yes, I'm ready for the match, I just went through three guys to get it! This is what I came to Rampage to do, was to win the World title and if I'm not mistaken, I haven't lost a single match since being drafted to Rampage! So I don't care about short rest or any other unforeseen factors..... I will leave here tonight the TWF...... World...... champion".

EDGE WALKS AWAY AS CAMERAS PICK UP INSIDE THE ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM.

DOLPH ZIGGLER HAS JUST DRAWN HIS NUMBER WHEN KAYLA KARTER ENTERS THE ROOM.

Kelly: "Uh...... you're here to pick a number"?

Kayla Karter: "No, you twit, I'm here to make sure you and..... what's your name"?

Eve Torres: "Eve.............

Kayla Karter: "Yeah, whatever. I'm here to make sure you two realize how stupid you look! You think that you can just put on the skimpiest outfit you can squeeze into, come stand by a tumbler and that makes you a TWF diva? What you two are doing requires no talent at all....... you two make me sick"!

KAYLA STORMS OUT OF THE ROOM AS EVE AND KELLY LOOK AT EACH OTHER, CONFUSED. ZIGGLER IS JUST LAUGHING TO HIMSELF.

Kelly: "What the hell is her problem"?

Eve Torres: "I'm glad I don't have to deal with her..... she's Rampage's problem".

Sylvester Terkay is shown walking backstage asnd several crew members go out of their way to avoid him intentionally, which puts a smirk on his face while he walks.......

All of a sudden, out of nowhere, Jordan Rockwell pounces on Terkay and pounds on him with forearms to the back, which causes Terkay to start tossing punches into his midsection which is followed by Rockwell taking Terkay off his feet to the ground with a double leg takedown. They can be heard hitting each other several times until officials and several wrestlers pull them apart.

Jordan Rockwell: "Come on Manbear...... you picked the wrong guy to mess with"!

Sylvester Terkay: "Come on"!

Terkay was able to pull himself free and jump on Rockwell who was still being held back and hit him a few times until he was once again restrained but this time, Rockwell got loose and dove right a top Terkay. Everyone went down to the ground and Rockwell hit Terkay with a few more shots to the head and face until Shane McMahon and several more wrestlers came along to break things up.

Shane McMahon: "Break them up! You two save it for the ring"!

Sylvester Terkay: "I'll see you in the Rumble"!

Jordan Rockwell: "You better hope not"!

Both men are separated and pulled in opposite directions which took several people on both sides to accomplish.

"METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE HITS AND EDGE COMES OUT. NO PYRO THIS TIME, BUT EDGE LOOKS EVERY BIT AS FOCUSED AS HE DID EARLIER IN THE NIGHT.

J.R.: "What a night this has been so far in Albany and it all started out with a fatal four way elimination match won by this man. Rowdy Roddy Piper's version of March Madness comes down to this, King".

Lawler: "Interesting would be an understatement when you size this one up. You've got the Rated R Superstar on one side and Randy Orton.... the viper.... on the other"!

"VOICES" BY REV THEORY PLAYS NEXT AND OUT COMES RANDY ORTON. BOOS SOON FOLLOW AS HE MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE ENTRANCE RAMP WITH THE TWF WORLD TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER.

J.R.: "Orton has held onto that title for fourteen out of the last sixteen months here in the TWF and given everything Edge has had to go through to get here....... he might be about out of real estate against the cunning, calculated attack of Orton".

Lawler: "Yeah, but let's be honest, J.R., he went through RVD, J.J. Ramplin and Jack Swagger already tonight..... if anyone can do this..... it's Edge".

TWF World Title Match

Challenger: Edge vs. Randy Orton

The bell sounded to start the match and the chess match followed. Edge and Orton circled one another, looking for the right time to take a shot. Edge moved in but Orton circled away. Finally, they locked up and it was Orton who was able to grab a standing headlock. Edge pushed him to the ropes and shot him across the ring, putting him on the mat with a shoulder tackle. Edge then ran the ropes but Orton got up quickly and hit a perfect dropkick right on the button. Orton then grabbed Edge in a reverse chin lock and looked content to sap as much of the Rated R Superstar's energy as he could while keeping him on the mat. This was not the kind of match Edge wanted and after being on the mat for over 3 minutes in various holds, he was able to slide his way to the ropes. Referee Scott Martin called for a break. Orton backed up for a second but came right back with a foot to the side of the head of Edge. He then picked him up but Edge blocked a right hand and fired back with a few of his own. He then grabbed Orton and threw him shoulder first into the steel ring post. That led to a clothesline that took Orton over the top rope and to the floor. Edge followed him out and the fight was on outside of the ring and that was a fight that Edge definitely got the best of. After driving the small of Orton's back into the ring apron, Edge pulled him into a front facelock and suplexed him on the steel ramp. He pulled Orton up and rolled him back into the ring. But Edge was slow to get back in himself and as he got to the apron, he stuck his head in between the top and middle ring ropes, allowing Orton to get up and grab him by the head before driving him into the mat with a crazy DDT. Orton rolled a limp Edge over and hooked the leg. Martin got down and counted 1.............2.........., but Edge was up. Orton looked surprised but he stayed on the attack. After a big vertical suplex, Orton began to stomp the entire body of Edge, limb from limb, similar to the old 'Garvin Stomp', made famous by 'Rugged' Ronnie Garvin. Orton then pulled Edge up and whipped him into the corner. He walked in but Edge was waiting with a kick to the abdomen followed by 2 heavy forearms. Edge hit the ropes and avoided a clothesline attempt by Orton before landing a crossbody. Edge got a 2 count before the champion pushed him off. Edge looked exhausted, but he went to the middle turnbuckle and flew off with a clothesline that scored. Edge made another cover, but Orton got his left shoulder off the mat at 2. Edge was beginning to gain momentum and after catching Orton with a swinging neckbreaker, he readied for the spear. Orton got up and Edge went for it, but Randy saw it coming, scooting out of the way. Edge was able to stop before he went completely into the move and instead kicked Orton in the abdomen. He then whipped him into the corner and ran in but was met with a foot to the face. Orton followed that up with a big clothesline and yelled "That's it"! while waving his hands across his chest. Edge struggled to get to his feet and when he did, Orton looked for the "RKO". But Edge was able to push him to the ropes and then scored with the spear! He went for the cover and got 1.....................2.................., but the count stopped when Martin noticed the left foot of Orton on the bottom rope. Edge pulled at his own hair in frustration, but he pulled Orton up and again shot him to the corner. He then picked Orton up and lifted him to the top rope. A superplex was coming as Edge climbed the turnbuckle but after headbutting him, Orton shoved Edge to the mat. Edge immediately grabbed the back of his head as Orton slithered off the turnpost. He then saw an opportunity. As Edge rolled to all fours, Orton ran across the ring and punted him! Edge was out cold as Orton rolled him over and got the pin!

J.R.: "Oh what a kick...... they may've heard that in Long Island"!

Lawler: "The New York Jets would like a guy who can punt like that! Wow"!

EDGE ROLLED OUT OF THE RING TO THE FLOOR, LOOKING LIKE HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AS HE STARED UP AT THE RAFTERS. IN THE RING, MARTIN HANDED ORTON THE TITLE AS "VOICES" CAME ON AGAIN.

J.R.: "Another successful title defense for Randy Orton and he cuts the March Madness run of Edge one win short of a championship"!

SUDDENLY, "THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY CAME ON AND THE CROWD WENT WILD AS AXL IRVIN APPROACHED THE RING, CARRYING A BRIEFCASE.

Lawler: "Oh...... oh you don't think"!

J.R.: "He's doin' it, King! Axl Irvin is cashing in the WrestleMania Jackpot"!

ORTON LOOKED SHOCKED AS AXL CAME TO THE RING AND LILIAN GARCIA MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT THAT AXL IRVIN WAS USING HIS GUARANTEED TITLE SHOT!

Lawler: "Orton has to defend the title right now"!

J.R.: "This could turn into a huge night for Axl.... ring the bell dammit"!

TWF World Title Match

Challenger: Axl Irvin vs. Randy Orton

No sooner did Orton hand the belt back to Martin than he was dropped with a clothesline from Axl. Axl went for a cover after every move, getting a total of 7 two counts. After a float over suplex, Axl pulled a groggy Orton to his feet and delivered a right hand that knocked him right back down. Orton was fighting with everything he had left to stay in the match, but he was being overwhelmed by the much fresher challenger. Axl pushed the champion into the corner and mauled him with rights and lefts that knocked Orton into a seated position in the corner. Martin forced Axl to get back so Orton could get up. Orton used the ropes to get to his feet and Axl ran at him only to be low bridged by Orton who pulled the top rope down. Axl hit the floor hard as Orton then pulled referee Martin to the other side of the ring. Just then, Edge got to his feet and the first thing he saw..... was Axl. With a look of sheer rage in his eyes, Edge waited for Axl to get up and when he did, he drove him into the ring steps with the spear! Edge then grabbed Axl and rolled him into the ring before heading towards the back to some hostile boos. The crowd couldn't believe it as Orton got Axl up and pulled him to the mat with the RKO, sealing the deal. A 3 count from Martin ended it for Axl.

J.R.: "You gotta be kidding me! That was the biggest rip off in God only knows how long and I'm begging the referee to do something and reverse this decision"!

Lawler: "Reverse what decision, J.R.? Orton just pinned Axl"!

J.R.: "How ironic is it that Edge ends up costing Axl Irvin the very thing they fought over for months"!

Lawler: "Well everyone has been asking Axl what he's been waiting for and the question he'll get for some time to come is what he saw in this situation that seemed like a good time to cash in".

J.R.: "He was taking a chance, King, and I admire that...... he had the damn title won"!

ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM

CAMERAS SHOW DAMION WEST REACH HIS HAND INTO THE TUMBLER AND PULL OUT A PLASTIC BUBBLE ABOUT THE SAME TIME THAT CHAOS WOLF ENTERS THE ROOM TO DO THE SAME. WOLF GETS HIS NUMBER AND HE AND WEST GIVE EACH OTHER A LOOK BEFORE WOLF JUST LEAVES.

Kelly: "Aren't you guys supposed to be like..... tag team champs or something".

Damion West: "Oh, we are.... yep, that's my good friend, Wolfy".

THE SHOT GOES TO THE DRESSING ROOM OF JASON OLIVER. HE HAS JUST FINISHED TAPING HIS WRISTS WHEN HE POPS OPEN A LOCKER AND SEES THE MASK OF JADEN CORE HANGING THERE. OLIVER QUICKLY GRABS THE MASK, LOOKING AT IT CLOSELY.

Jason Oliver: (to himself) "What the hell? I needed you tonight, man.............

BACK TO THE RING, "NEW DAY" COMES ON AND CODY RHODES MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS FROM THE HUGE CROWD.

J.R.: "Well King, if you're Cody Rhodes, you are looking at the biggest match of your young career to this point".

Lawler: "And he has the cool, calm approach of a guy who has beaten Jason Oliver before..... and he has..... more than once"!

"FLY FROM THE INSIDE" BY SHINEDOWN PLAYS NEXT AND JASON OLIVER EMERGES FROM THE BACK TO A RATHER LARGE POP.

J.R.: "Well to tell you how badly Jason Oliver wanted to accept this challenge handed down by Rhodes..... he passed up a spot in the Royal Rumble to do it".

Lawler: "Yeah, but J.R., Cody Rhodes has not only pinned Jason Oliver before, he is also the main reason he is no longer the TWF World champion".

J.R.: "All the more reason for Oliver to take this match and if you ask me, on this stage, the Royal Rumble.... Oliver will pull out all the stops tonight".

Cody Rhodes vs. Jason Oliver

Oliver stepped halfway through the ring ropes and Rhodes let him go no further before smashing him with a forearm to the back of the head. He then dragged him to the center of the ring and kicked him in the gut before running the ropes and delivering a huge running knee lift. Rhodes tried to play to the crowd after the move and Oliver popped up, clotheslining Rhodes when he turned around. Oliver then got atop Rhodes, smashing him with rights and lefts to the point referee Jim Korderas had to pull him off. Oliver didn't give Rhodes much time to shake it off though, hitting a spin kick to the abdomen before trying to the "Claymore" but Rhodes slipped free and scrambled to the ropes. But Oliver moved in, he stuck a finger in his eye and scored with 2 European uppercuts. After shooting Oliver to the ropes, Rhodes used a back elbow to put him right back down. After pulling Oliver up, Rhodes delivered a big snap suplex and the match was now totally in his favor as he went to the outside of the ring, climbing the turnbuckle. He flew off with a crossbody but Oliver was able to roll through, hooking the leg for a near fall. Rhodes got up connected with 2 quick jabs before trying to pick Oliver up, but the 'King of Sting' countered with a quick small package and Korderas slapped the mat 3 times to bring a quick halt to the encounter!

J.R.: "He got him! Oliver has defeated Cody Rhodes"!

Lawler: "And Rhodes isn't happy about it....... look out"!

RHODES GOT UP AND RAN AT THE VICTORIOUS OLIVER, BUT OLIVER DUCKED HIS SWING AND HIT THE CLAYMORE TO THE CROWD's SATISFACTION.

J.R.: "Oh yeah..... Claymore! What a way to seal the win here"!

"FLY FROM THE INSIDE" HIT AGAIN AND OLIVER STOOD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING, CELEBRATING THE WIN.

Lawler: "Oh my gosh..... look at this"!

TO THE SHOCK OF EVERYONE, M.X. OGDEN APPEARED IN THE RING, APPARENTLY HAVING COME FROM OUT OF THE CROWD. SENSING SOMETHING, OLIVER TURNED AROUND AND OGDEN BLASTED HIM WITH A SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE HEAD!

J.R.: "My God.... what the hell is this"?!

Lawler: "It's M.X. Ogden...... where'd he come from"?!

OGDEN SLOWLY WALKED OVER TO THE FALL OLIVER AND DROPPED SOMETHING ON HIS CHEST. IT WAS THE MASK OF JADEN CORE!

"WHERE I WANNA BE" BY THE VEER UNION STARTS TO PLAY.

Lawler: "I think we're getting an answer to one of the biggest questions in the TWF here, J.R.".

J.R.: "I would swear my eyes are deceiving me.... M.X. Ogden has returned here at the Royal Rumble and he has laid out Jason Oliver"!

BACKSTAGE..........

The camera focuses in on Troy Gafgen and Richard Ramsley in the locker room. A few other superstars walk by, each one receiving a jeer, or a cynical chuckle from Ramsley. After everyone else has exited the room, Ramsley takes a moment to look over his Royal Rumble entry number. He nods, not giving away the value of his entry number, and sticks it in his pocket. He then looks at Troy, who is also looking at his number.

Richard Ramsley: "Alright, listen up, my pupil, because it's time for lesson number two".

Ramsley pats Gafgen on the back, and takes a seat on a nearby bench.

Ramsley: "Remember when I said there are three important rules for success? Well, here's the second one: Tenacity... ferocity... *Ramsley closes his eyes, and takes a deep breath.* Unadulterated aggression. You see, Troy, you can't let your opponent have a break, save for the occasional mocking break. Every now and then, it's fine to take a step back, and laugh or spit in the face of your opponent, because it's important to make your opponent's mental well being as horrible as their physical well being. But back to the main point... don't let up. Also, and this probably seems fairly obvious, pick at certain parts of the body. Yes, hurt them all over, but if you can tell that a certain body part is damaged, then go after it. Go in with a game plan. Take me, for example. I.... love to destroy their face, specifically, the eyes... they say the eyes are windows to the soul, Troy".

Ramsley suddenly gets a distant look in his eyes, an almost euphoric one. He stares into nothing, as a sick, twisted smile spreads across his face. Troy, looking a little disturbed, gives him a light shake on the shoulder.

Troy Gafgen: "Uh.... Rich? You still with me, man"?

Ramsley quickly shakes his head, and regains his composure. He begins talking as if he never stopped to begin with.

Ramsley: ...and if you can damage the eyes, then you take away their ability to see you correctly. Here's some more advice, fun advice, at that. The leg is made to only bend one way, Troy... why not see how many different ways you can bend it. Now, as I've said, it's important to be ruthless, and aggressive, but remember, you can't get carried away. Never let your anger get the best of you... that's a mistake I've made one too many times".

Ramsley once again pats Troy on the back, and begins to walk out of the room.

Ramsley: "That's enough for now, Troy. We have to get ready for the Rumble. And after the show, regardless of what happens, we'll hit some bars, pick some fights... I'll show you how to break a guy's nose without ever even making a fist".

Troy nods, and looks at his Rumble entry number one more time before getting out of his chair, and following Ramsley.

ROYAL RUMBLE DRAWING ROOM

CAMERAS IN THE DRAWING ROOM SHOW THAT THERE AREN'T TOO MANY NUMBERS LEFT TO PICK FROM AS MATT CRUZ ENTERS THE ROOM WITH MARIA.

Matt Cruz: "You sure you want to? Okay.... go for it".

MARIA REACHES HER HAND IN THE TUMBLER, EXCITED TO BE DOING SO, AND PULLS OUT ONE OF THE FEW REMAINING PLASTIC BUBBLES, HANDING IT TO CRUZ. WITHOUT LOOKING AT IT, CRUZ LEAVES THE ROOM WITH MARIA, ARM IN ARM.

A VIDEO PACKAGE STARTS TO ROLL AND OPENS WITH A WALL OF FLAMES. IMAGES OF NAILS IN HIS TWF DEBUT ARE SHOWN BEFORE SEVERAL CLIPS OF NAILS PUTTING GUYS THROUGH TABLES, USING A TOP ROPE POWERBOMB, BRASS KNUCKLES AND HIS SIGNATURE..... THE FIRE POKER. AN OLD CLIP OF NAILS AND WALLY WILLSON IS SHOWN BEFORE THE WALL OF FIRE COMES BACK INTO VIEW. HUNDREDS OF BLACK BATS START TO FLY THROUGH THE FIRE, SQUEALING.

THAT LEADS INTO CLIPS OF THE REQUIEM IN ACTION, BUT IT FOCUSES ON THAT OF KEVIN THORN. HE IS SHOWN PICKING UP WINS OVER THE LIKES OF CHAOS WOLF AND JOHN CENA, BEFORE HIS UNFORGETTABLE WIN OVER JORDAN ROCKWELL AT WAR IN THE WINTER THAT MADE HIM THE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION. THE FIRE IS SHOWN AGAIN BUT THE FLAMES START TO FLICKER OUT BEFORE DISAPPEARING AS AN EVIL, HIGH PITCHED LAUGH, PRESUMABLY THAT OF ARIEL, IS HEARD BEFORE THE SHOT FADES TO BLACK.

"LEFT BEHIND" BY SLIPKNOT COMES ON AND WALLY WILLSON STEPS OUT FROM THE BACKSTAGE AREA, SOON FOLLOWED BY NAILS.

Hudson: "Ladies and gentlemen, after nearly a decade here in the TWF, you are about to see quite simply, the biggest match in the career of Nails".

HTM: "For years, we've heard terms tossed around like Hardcore Icon and Hockey Masked freak. But no one..... no one has ever thought about calling this guy a Universal champion, and for good reason"!

Hudson: "And what's that? Nails is as deserving a contender as you'll find in the TWF..... he's proven he's not just a hardcore style brawler and I for one am looking forward to this huge match"!

THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND THE BOOS QUICKLY START AS "MI DESTROYERO" COMES ON. OUT STEPS ARIEL, FOLLOWED BY KEVIN THORN. THORN HAS HIS WALKING STICK IN HIS RIGHT HAND.

HTM: "You would look forward to a group of seven year olds coming over to play Tiddlywinks, Hudson! This man..... this man is out to prove that Nails is not in the category of Universal champion! I don't care how hardcore he is or how crazy he is..... Thorn doesn't either"!

Hudson: "All it takes is a three count, Honky Tonk Man. One three count and we have a new champion".

REFEREE MIKE CHIODA GETS THE UNIVERSAL TITLE FROM THORN AND SHOWS IT TO NAILS BEFORE HANDING IT TO THE TIMEKEEPER.

HTM: "Get a good look, Nails..... that's as close as you're getting to that belt"!

Hudson: "Kevin Thorn has been on a roll for quite some time in the TWF and that includes when he shocked the world at War in the Winter by taking that title from Jordan Rockwell but this is a different kind of animal..... a different kind of battle for Thorn".

TWF Universal Title Match

Challenger: Nails w/ Wally Willson vs. Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel

The bell sounded and Nails and Thorn were about to lock horns when Wally Willson loudly got the attention of Nails. Willson stuck his index finger out, pointing to Gangrel and Drusus slowly approaching the ring. With that, Nails left the ring and ran at the two men, attacking them both. After knocking both men down with punches, he grabbed Drusus by the back of the head and slammed him into the ringside barricade. Gangrel tried to come from behind but Nails stuck a kick into his midsection and then delivered a DDT right on the steel ramp. Nails then walked back to the ring, noticing that Chioda wasn't even counting him being outside the ring. But right when he got in, Thorn was all over him like a wild animal, stomping on the back of his head and then dropping a big elbow on him. Thorn aggressively pulled Nails to his feet and threw him into the corner, punching his body with right hands before grabbing the ropes for all the leverage he could get before kicking him in the gut. Nails fell to a seated position and used his foot to boot Nails in the head. The crowd began to boo with Thorn in total control. He gave Wilson a look that could kill before pulling Nails up by his long, wet hair. After hampering the challenger with more punches and elbows, Thorn whipped him to the ropes and delivered a big clothesline. The champion made a pin attempt, but Nails was up at 2. Thorn stayed right on him though, slapping on a reverse chin lock. He did his best to hold Nails down, but Nails started to come back behind the cheers of the crowd. Showing a ton of determination, Nails was able to get back to a standing position, muscling out of Thorn's grasp. Nails had both of Thorn's arms over his head, trying to fully remove himself from the hold when Thorn kicked the back of his right leg. Nails lost hold of his arms and Thorn clotheslined him in the back of the head. Nails then grabbed Nails by the hair again and slowly pulled him to his feet but Nails flung Thorn's arms out in front of him and landed 3 hard right hands, knocking him into the ropes before picking him up and delivering a wicked spinebuster. When Thorn got up, Nails grabbed him and put him right back down with a headbutt. Nails was starting to get a head of steam and when the champ got to his feet holding his head, Nails scooped him up and dropped him over the top turnbuckle with the snake eyes. He then ran the ropes and kicked Thorn right in the face, sending a wad of saliva flying into the second or third row of ringside fans. Ariel jumped up on the apron and threw the walking stick into the ring. But the ploy that has worked so many times in the past, was caught by referee Chioda . Nails picked picked up the walking stick but Chioda took it away from him and then ordered Ariel to leave the ringside area! The crowd went nuts as Chioda jawed with the "dark queen" but the distraction allowed Thorn to recover and attack Nails from behind. But as the argument between Chioda and Ariel continued, Willson reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out an old Nails favorite- brass knucks! Nails got the weapon and fastened it on his right fist. He then got to his knees and punched Thorn in the gut when he walked over before getting up and driving his fist into his right temple. Thorn crashed to the mat as other officials came out from the back to help remove Ariel. In the ring, Nails got Thorn up and delivered the "Nail Driver", covering him for the 1...................2...............3!

Hudson: "We have a new champion! My God, it has finally happened..... Nails is the champ"!

"LEFT BEHIND" PLAYED AS WILLSON CAME IN WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE, HANDING IT TO NAILS. LOOKING AT THE BELT THROUGH HIS HOCKEY MASK, NAILS SHOWED MORE EMOTION THAN WE'VE EVER SEEN FROM HIM, RAISING THE TITLE UP WITH BOTH HANDS.

HTM: "I can't believe this...... the referee sends Ariel to the back for getting involved but look at what Willson did! It took brass knucks to take Thorn's title"!

Hudson: "And it would've taken a walking stick to keep his title if not for the referee".

HTM: "So that makes it okay?! I demand that the board of directors take a look at this and I think a reversal of this decision is absolutely in order"!

Hudson: "Well Honky Tonk Man, I'm not gonna let dampen the mood here..... after a long, hard fought road, Nails sits atop the TWF"!

BACKSTAGE......

BACKSTAGE LENA YADA HAS JUST CAUGHT UP WITH CHAOS WOLF.

Lena Yada: "Chaos Wolf, if I could just get your comments on winning the Tag Team titles on Primetime".

Chaos Wolf: "While it feels good to be one half of the tag champs, I’m a bit pissed off. It seems to me that the TWF management is purposely denying me what I want. Now about a little over a year ago, I said that since Chris Tirpak wasn’t around, there was no one to control me. Now what does management do? They have me do nice guy promos and save people who are in trouble before telling me that they want me to team with a crack head; excuse me ex-crack head against the U.N. That was nowhere near what I had asked them which was for a chance at the Intercontinental Championship. They ignored my request, so now thanks to the TWF management, it looks like I’m gonna have to do things the hard way".

Lena Yada: "What exactly do you mean by the hard way"?

Chaos Wolf: "Straight to the point..... I take what I want, when I want it, I say what I want, whenever I want to, and I take what I want, when I feel like it. So with that said, I'm ready for the Royal Rumble and twenty nine other guys..... yes that includes Damion West..... better be ready to deal with someone who just doesn't give a damn".

THE SHOT RETURNS TO THE RING WHERE HOWARD FINKEL STANDS WITH A MICROPHONE AND THE CROWD IS BUZZING WITH ANTICIPATION.

J.R.: "Okay, well I guess the four of us are gonna call this thing".

Hudson: "There have been ten Royal Rumbles before this one but have any of them had the kind of star-studded field that we have this year".

Lawler: "And the winner gets a guaranteed title shot at WrestleMania along with the choice of it being either the World or Universal title".

HTM: "Well obviously Chaos Wolf is ready.... I'm very interested to see what will happen if he gets in there with his partner Damion West".

Howard Finkel: "Ladies and gentlemen......... it is now time for the 2010 Royal Rumble"!

A LOUD POP IS HEARD

Howard Finkel: "In a moment, we will find out who drew numbers one and two. From there, every ninety seconds another superstar will enter the match. Elimination can only occur when a superstar has been thrown over the top rope and have both feet touch the floor. The last man in the ring will be declared the winner and will participate in the main event at WrestleMania eleven"!

Hudson: "Oh boy, I'm ready! This is my first one"!

"MISTERRRRRR KENNEDYYYYYYYYYY" IS HEARD AND MR. KENNEDY COMES OUT TO A GOOD POP, HAVING DRAWN NUMBER ONE.

J.R.: "And look at this! The man who won this event just two years ago is gonna start this thing out and we all know how hard it is to draw a number like this and make it to the end".

Lawler: "Kennedy is a guy who knows what it takes to win this thing though..... he had nine eliminations in 2008".

"SAVE ME" BY BURN HALO HITS NEXT AND THE FANS CHEER LOUDLY WHEN JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT.

Hudson: "Oh my gosh..... Jordan Rockwell is number two"!

HTM: "I'll tell ya what, I've long been a detractor of The Franchise, but if he can pull this off, even I'll become a fan".

Hudson: "You could make the argument that two of the preliminary favorites in this thing have a tough road in front of them tonight".

J.R.: "Well there's the bell and the 2010 Royal Rumble is underway"!

2010 Royal Rumble

Kennedy and Rockwell seemed to exchange words before they locked up. Rockwell was able to back Kennedy into the corner where he threw a knifedge chop but Kennedy ducked and pointed to his head, displaying to Rockwell how he was thinking one step ahead. Kennedy then threw a spin kick but Rockwell was able to catch his foot and pushed Kennedy towards the ropes, nearly dumping him over. Kennedy showed great balance before poking Rockwell in the eye to hang on. He then took Rockwell down with a clothesline and started punching him while he was on the mat. 10.......9........8.......7.......6.......5.......4.......3........2.......1. A loud buzzer sounded and #3 was headed to the ring, Damion West. One half of the TWF Tag Team champions looked to use his quickness, ducking a clothesline from Kennedy before landing a flying forearm after hitting the ropes on the other side. Rockwell stood up and West dropped him with his superkick! West then ran at Kennedy but Kennedy backdropped him out onto the apron. West was able to roll back into the ring at the feet of Kennedy. It was time for another participant to join the fray and it was Sylvester Terkay. Terkay came in and dropped both Kennedy and West with right hands before he stood toe to toe with Rockwell. Rockwell staggered him with two right hands before hitting the ropes but Terkay grabbed him and just threw him backwards. Rockwell threw another right hand but Terkay blocked it and landed a big roundhouse kick to the head. He then ran at Rockwell with a clothesline that knocked him out of the ring! Kennedy and West seemed to forge some sort of quick union, combining their efforts to take on the Manbear. Terkay fight them off as best he could until the next participant joined the match, Richard Ramsley at #5. Ramsley jumped on the back of Kennedy, trying to lock in a rear naked choke, but once he got him down, he went after the eyes of Kennedy! That left West to battle Terkay and Terkay had him very close to elimination. West had to get creative to stay in the match, wrapping himself around the ring ropes to stave off elimination. Kennedy fought like hell to get Ramsley off of him but Ramsley was relentless. Things got worse for Kennedy when ironically, the next entry was Troy Gafgen. Gafgen gave Ramsley a hand and helped subdue Kennedy. Finally, Ramsley got his fingers in the eyes of Kennedy. Kennedy screamed as his eyes were being pulled at and gouged. Duke Axe would be the next participant to join the fray and he changed the match in the early going. He came in to help Kennedy, dropkicking Gafgen before kicking Ramsley in the back of the head. This allowed Kennedy to roll out of harms way but before Axe could do much more, Terkay ran over and turned him inside out with a clothesline. The Manbear then beat his own chest but from behind, Gafgen and Ramsley tried to take him out. But they couldn't quite get him over the top rope and Terkay elbowed Gafgen in the back of the head before pushing Ramsley away. A big right hand then took the deranged Ramsley out of the match. Gafgen and Terkay the engaged as West, Axe and Kennedy were all licking their wounds. Chris Tirpak was out next at #8. He had with him his kendo stick and unlike most of the time, no one could stop him from using it tonight. Tirpak hit the ring and smacked Gafgen across the back with it before turning the weapon on Axe, Kennedy and West! He then turned and blasted Terkay over the head with it but it didn't even take Terkay off his feet and he came back with a kick that not only knocked Tirpak to the mat, it dislodged the stick from his hand. Terkay then grabbed Duke Axe by the back of the head and flung him over the top rope. Terkay then went back to Tirpak, locking him in his standing triangle armbar. Suddenly, Damion West popped up and seemed to be rejuvenated. He superkicked Kennedy right out of the ring! Gafgen tried to surprise West with a clothesline but he ducked and smashed Gafgen with the "Head on Collision", taking him out as well. Chaos Wolf would become the next man to join the fray and shockingly, two of the men in the ring with him were Chris Tirpak and Damion West. The 3 men decided to pool their abilities together to take on Terkay, who was dominating the match. But even the three of them together couldn't get him out as Terkay did a great job of fending them off. The action almost came to a dead halt when the man who drew number 10 came out. Straight from "outer space", it was Max Moon! Max Moon hadn't been seen in a wrestling ring anywhere in the world in over 15 years, but as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, he was ready to show what he could do.

West left the triple team of Terkay to face Max Moon and that was all the opening Terkay needed. After catching Chaos Wolf with a jab, Terkay was able to muscle Tirpak over the top rope and out of the match. But he didn't stop there, picking Damion West up from behind and dispatching him out of the ring, the 5th elmination for the Manbear. Terkay then smoked Max Moon with a clothesline but what he didn't see behind him was Chaos Wolf, twirling the kendo stick that Tirpak had brought to the ring with him. Terkay turned around and Wolf smacked him over the head not once, not twice, but three times! He then used the weapon to push Terkay out of the ring, drawing a huge cheer from the crowd. Lost in the shuffle was the fact that Rob Storm had gotten into the match and he used a chop block to take Wolf down from behind. Storm then grabbed the kendo stick, at least what was left of it, and threw it out of the ring. Storm then traded blows with Max Moon until #12 got in and that was John Cena. John Cena looked determined, running over both Storm and Moon with clotheslines. He then got Storm up for the "F-U" and just simply threw him over the top rope. Wolf ran at Cena but was backdropped out of the ring for his efforts. Cena and Max Moon stood as the only 2 men in the ring and Moon actually took him out with a step-up enziguri. As the crowd looked on wondering what the hell was going on, Moon went to the top rope and came off with a perfect rounding splash, landing right on Cena. Joe Corey would be the man who drew number 13 and he hit the ring with a target on Moon, catching him with a flying knee to the head. He then tried to pick Cena up and push him over the top rope but he couldn't do it. Moon recovered and came from behind, dropkicking Corey in the back. Moon then threw a high kick at Cena but Cena ducked it and at the same time, got Moon onto his shoulders, flipping him out of the ring. Cena and Corey tangled until Shane Thompson came into the ring. Thompson still has plenty of ill will towards Cena, and it showed as he and Corey started to wear him out. Corey held Cena's arms behind his back as Thompson punched him several times in the head and body. Moments later, Chris Jericho got involved at #15. With what happened earlier with The Undertaker out of his mind, he helped Thompson and Corey soften Cena up. Corey then pulled Cena in and drove him into the mat with the "Showstopper" and Jericho followed up with the Lionsault. The seconds ticked down before the next superstar came into the match. Fans hoped it would be help for Cena but it was Colt Cabana, who quickly agreed to help the other 3 with Cena. But as the 4 men all took turns taking shots at him, Cena was able to dodge a kick from Thompson and clothesline him out of the ring. But when he turned around, Jericho struck with the "Codebreaker". With Cena just about fully incapacitated, Corey was able to toss him out of the ring. Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston would be the next two entrants and Kingston was quickly in the same spot Cena was, taking on 4 men. But the PrimeTime newcomer was also very fresh and he was able to fight back, even against the four men. But as Corey and McIntyre were able to back Kofi into the corner, Cabana pulled one over on Jericho, grabbing him from behind and throwing him over the top rope! But after hitting kicks on Corey and McIntyre, Kingston came out of the corner and struck Cabana with the "Trouble in Paradise". He then waited for him to get up and when he did, a clothesline from Kofi eliminated Cabana. Taylor Made and Bill Cutting joined the fray and they both seemed to side with Kingston. Cutting and Taylor went at McIntyre as Corey and Kingston squared off.

Kingston took several right hands from Corey but when Corey tried to get him out of the ring, Kofi used the ring ropes to flip over Corey and he pushed him out of the ring! Taylor Made ran at Kofi from behind but instincts for Kofi told him he was coming and he turned around, lifting Taylor out of the ring with a backdrop. In the meantime, Eddie Saint James had quietly entered the ring but he was anything but quiet once he was there, kicking Cutting right in the face before drilling Kingston with a clothesline. Zack Ryder would be the Rumble's next competitor, drawing #22. He went right at Bill Cutting as The Saint choked Kofi in the corner. No one seemed to notice Drew McIntyre avoiding the action to stay in the ring and conserve energy. Kofi was able to fight The Saint off just as Cutting knocked Ryder to the mat. Kofi then got up to the middle turnbuckle but Cutting ran across the ring and with both hands, shoved him out! Kofi landed hard and got up, smacking the apron in anger. Then, Cutting, Ryder and McIntyre combined forces to eliminate Saint James! Those three who made the elimination now held the ring and McIntyre would join Ryder to work on Cutting. Cutting seemed like he was prepared for the competition very well, however, staving off every elimination attempt. Next out was CM Punk and he ran down the ramp with a head of steam, hitting everything that moved. But the action slowed down at this point as the field was dwindling and the competitors were minimizing their risks. Dolph Ziggler and Ted Dibiase came out with numbers 24 and 25 as the ring began to fill. As the runner-up last year, Dibiase wanted the crowd this year. He caught Cutting with a clothesline right before we got two quick eliminations. A big favorite at this point in the match, CM Punk was pushed over the top rope by the tandem of Ryder and McIntyre. But Ryder wouldn't get much time to celebrate as he was taken out by Dolph Ziggler seconds later. Ziggler then went at it with Drew McIntyre, who had been in the ring longer than anyone at this point.

Ziggler and McIntyre were throwing heavy hands at each other while Cutting and Dibiase tore into each other. Dibiase was able to get a big knee into the gut of Cutting but he couldn't get him out of the ring despite his best efforts. Dibiase kept at it though just as the buzzer sounded for #26 to come out and it was PJ Cash. Just before Cash got into the ring, Ziggler fended off McIntyre and ran over, grabbing the legs of Dibiase and flipping him over the top rope. Cash looked for the best strategy, staying away from the action at first. What he saw was Drew McIntyre, Bill Cutting and Dolph Ziggler. Cutting and Ziggler decided to brawl next and Cutting was getting the best of it. Now, the superstars were really buckling down, keeping the moves to mostly brawling techniques. Ezekiel Jackson would come out at #27 and Blade at #28. There was no doubt that the biggest threat to win at this point was Jackson, and the rest of the field knew it. They all joined up to attack the big man from Guyana. But as Jackson took on all of them, McIntyre stepped away from him and snuck up on Cutting, finally eliminating him. Cutting was very disappointed as he walked off. The trio of PJ Cash, Ziggler and Blade had Jackson in trouble and after Cash and Blade were able to work him to the ropes, a dropkick from Ziggler took him out. As Ziggler celebrated the big elimination, Blade clotheslined Cash over the top rope. Blade and McIntyre then worked together to take Ziggler out. Ziggler's lack of focus really cost him in the end. McIntyre and Blade stood as the only two men in the ring. #29 was next and it was Matt Cruz. With a great chance to win, Cruz headed to the ring quickly but Blade and McIntyre were all over him.

They had Cruz in a lot of trouble, wearing him down as everyone wanted to know who was #30. Cruz battled to stay alive in the match and really had to work hard to do so before the buzzer sounded. Here came #30 and it was............ Skinner? Yes, that's right. TWF backstage agent Steve Keirn, competing as Skinner. The crowd was almost in hysterics as the man from the Florida Everglades made his way down the ramp, slowly. In the ring, Cruz was able to fight back, knocking both McIntyre and Blade down with right hands. McIntyre was put down with a spinebuster by Cruz who then took out Blade with a clothesline. He then grabbed McIntyre and tossed him out of the ring. The night for McIntyre was done after over 26 minutes in the ring. Using the set up by Cruz, Skinner measured Blade and clotheslined him over the top rope!

We were down to Matt Cruz and Skinner and the fight was on. They traded shots until the crafty veteran Skinner poked Cruz in the eye. After a mule kick, Skinner used two European uppercuts to rock Cruz. He then set him up for his reverse DDT as the crowd couldn't believe their eyes. But Cruz came up with a counter, a terrific northern lights suplex. He popped up and took the straps from his singlet down, yelling for the fans to come alive, which they did. After a textbook belly to belly suplex, Cruz could sense it and he grabbed Skinner again for a belly to belly but this time, he released him and threw him over the top rope to win the match!

J.R.: "Matt Cruz! Matt Cruz has done it"!

Lawler: "Wow, I can't believe it"!

Hudson: "An amazing Royal Rumble and a great number has led to a huge win for Matt Cruz, the biggest night of his life to this point"!

HTM: "And if you remember, Maria picked that number for him..... what a lucky charm she's turned out to be"!

J.R.: "The Texas Longhorn has won the Royal Rumble and now, look at him point at the big sign, a spot in WrestleMania's main event awaits"!

CRUZ POINTED TO THE WRESTLEMANIA 11 LOGO THAT WAS HANGING FROM THE RAFTERS AS "THE NEXT EPISODE" PLAYED AND FIREWORKS POPPED OFF.
