THERE IS SHEER SILENCE, BEFORE THE SOUND OF SIRENS CAN BE HEARD OFF IN THE DISTANCE. THEY GET LOUDER AND LOUDER UNTIL AN AMBULANCE APPEARS, BARRELLING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. THE SIRENS ARE BLARING BY THIS POINT.
THE AMBULANCE PASSES AND IS SOON OUT OF SIGHT WHEN A VERY EERIE TUNE BEGINS TO PLAY AND THE SHOT FADES TO BLACK.
FROM THERE, THE TARGET CENTER COMES INTO THE SHOT, AND THE SOUND OF SIRENS CAN STILL BE HEARD, EVEN LOUDER THAN THE CHEERS OF THE SCREAMING FANS.
Jim Ross: "We welcome you to another edition of the TWF on Pay-Per-View and King, what a night we have, both Rampage and PrimeTime are here in Minneapolis"!
Jerry Lawler: "Well we all know that nobody does Pay-Per-View like the TWF, but can someone please shut off those sirens"!
J.R.: "You want me to see if our broadcast colleagues from PrimeTime have some earplugs for ya"?!
THE SHOT GOES OVER TO THE PRIMETIME BROADCAST TABLE, WHERE MICHAEL COLE AND THE HONKY TONK MAN ARE POSITIONED.
Honky Tonk Man: "Get real, Jim Ross, I wouldn't give Jerry Lawler a damn thing and besides, those sirens sound a lot better than his voice"!
"THIS FIRE BURNS" BY KILLSWITCH ENGAGE BLARES OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AND CM PUNK COMES OUT TO A HUGE RESPONSE, ONE OF THE NIGHT's BIGGEST. WITH HIM, IS THE LOVELY MARIA.
Michael Cole: "Well I'd like to point out that the action will be taking place in the ring with the superstars of the TWF, not you and Lawler, and we're ready for our first match right now"!
HTM: "If CM Punk only wins one match the rest of his career, it better be this one! He might be leading Maria out to the slaughter"!
Cole: "The stipulation in this match of course is that if CM Punk loses, Maria must become the sacrificial lamb of the TWF's vampire and vampiress"!
THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND BOOS FILL THE ARENA WHEN KEVIN THORN's MUSIC HITS. HE COMES OUT WITH HIS WALKING STICK AND THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. HE IS FOLLOWED BY ARIEL, WHO IS WEARING A RED AND BLACK CORSET AND A BLACK HOOD OVER HER HEAD.
HTM: "And here they come! I gotta say, having to be sacrificed by Ariel might not be a bad thing"!
Cole: "Oh yeah, why don't you let her come bite you on the neck then"!
HTM: "With those fangs..... I'll pass"!
Cole: "I thought you'd say that. CM Punk and Kevin Thorn have been at odds for months now. Kevin Thorn defeated CM Punk to win the Intercontinental title back at MeltDown and Punk has been unable to get it back.... tonight could be his last chance".
HTM: "Yeah, but CM Punk is competing for something a little more important than that title in my opinion. Maria's well being is on the line"!
TWF Intercontinental Title Match Challenger: CM Punk w/ Maria vs. Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel Thorn ran at Punk when the bell sounded, but an alert Punk avoided him and cracked him with 3 hard kicks to the midsection. Thorn reversed an irish whip but was way off with a clothesline and Punk used the ropes for a springboard into a reverse crossbody. He got a long 2 count before both men got to their feet. Punk connected with 2 more kicks before sending Thorn to the corner but when he flew in with a knee, Thorn moved out of the way of it but caught Punk and slammed him to the mat. Punk grabbed the back of his head as Thorn put the boots to it and then dropped a big elbow on him. After pulling Punk up, Thorn shot him to the ropes and kicked him in the gut before delivering a big swinging neckbreaker. Punk got to his feet, but Thorn hammered him into the corner with a barrage of right hands. After placing Punk on the top turnbuckle, Thorn began to climb up, looking for a superplex. But Punk got in a few punches to the midsection before a headbutt knocked Thorn to the mat. Punk then came off with a perfect elbow drop and a cover got him a 1........2......, but Thorn rolled his right shoulder off the mat. Punk waited for him to get up, laying into him with some more kicks. Thorn stumbled into the corner and this time, Punk was right on the money with his knee to the head. Thorn was seeing stars and Punk got him up on his shoulders. But Thorn could sniff the "GTS" and he slipped off, clubbing Punk in the back of the head. Rather than capitalizing on the move, Thorn left the ring and went after Maria, grabbing her by the throat! Punk got up and climbed the turnbuckle, ready to take flight. But with referee Charles Robinson's attention on what was going on outside the ring, Ariel came in with the walking stick and smacked Punk across the back of both legs. Punk crotched himself on the top turnbuckle and Thorn quickly got back in the ring, grabbing Punk for the "Dark Kiss". Thorn hooked the leg and got the 3 count, much to the surprise of the huge crowd. Match Time: 5:00 Cole: "Oh no, this can't be happening". HTM: "Look at Ariel.... she's got Maria"! ARIEL GRABBED MARIA FROM BEHIND AND ROLLED HER INTO THE RING WHERE THORN WAS WAITING. THORN GRABBED MARIA BY THE HAIR AS ARIEL PULLED OUT A VIAL FROM HER CLEAVAGE AREA. THE VIAL WAS FULL OF A RED SUBSTANCE. Cole: "What the hell are they gonna do?! This is crazy"! HTM: "Well I don't know about you, but I've never seen a vampire sacrifice! Who knows what they're gonna do"! THORN GRABBED THE VIAL AND OPENED HIS MOUTH, EXPOSING HIS FANGS WHEN THE LIGHTS IN THE ARENA WENT OFF. HTM: "What the hell"? MOMENTS LATER, A BELL TOLLED. THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERED. THE BELL THEN TOLLED TWICE MORE BEFORE THE LIGHTS CAME BACK ON. THORN AND ARIEL WERE IN THE RING, A LOOK OF SHOCK AMONGST THEIR FACES AS PUNK WAS NOW LEADING A TERRIFIED MARIA UP THE RAMP. Cole: "Did you hear that?! You know what that means"! HTM: "No way.... it can't be"! Cole: "Well one thing is for sure, Maria has gotten out of harms way"! BACKSTAGE AREA...... EDGE IS SHOWN IN HIS DRESSING ROOM WHEN KEN KENNEDY COMES IN. EDGE STANDS UP. Edge: "Ever heard of knocking"? Ken Kennedy: "Edge.... I didn't come here for any kind of altercation. You and I have been forced to team together tonight, in a match we just found out about. I just want to make sure I can trust you.... that's all". EDGE REACHES DOWN AND GRABS THE UNIVERSAL TITLE. Edge: "I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I am currently your Universal champion! That's my concern, not who my partner is. Hell, as long as my partner stays out of my way, I don't care if it's you or Kevin Garnett! Oh wait, he left this piece of crap city too, didn't he"?! KENNEDY JUST SHAKES HIS HEAD AND LEAVES THE ROOM AS THE CROWD BOOS DUE TO EDGE's COMMENT. IN ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA............ BRIAN MAJOR IS SHOWN TALKING TO TRINITY AND ROUCKA WHEN BRETT MAJOR COMES RUNNING UP. Brett Major: "Dude, guess what I just saw? Bret Hart is here! He's here, man"! Brian Major (laughs): "That's great, I hope our good buddies Eye Spy know what they've gotten themselves into". BACK AT RINGSIDE, THE LIGHTS GO OUT AGAIN AND A SPOTLIGHT BEGINS TO MAKE IT's WAY THROUGH THE CROWD, COMING TO REST ON THE ECW ENTRANCE. WITHIN SECONDS, "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI HITS AND SYLVESTER TERKAY COMES OUT IN A BLACK HOODIE WITH THE ECW LOGO ON IT. J.R.: "Well it's Rampage's turn for some action, King, and here comes the guy many fans feel should've been the 2008 King of the Ring. We've got an interesting cross-division matchup here". Lawler: "Yeah, and I knew you were gonna bring this up, J.R., but the fact remains, like it or not, Sylvester Terkay did what was best for ECW". J.R.: "For ECW, or for Joe Corey"? THE CROWD LOUDLY POPS WHEN BOBBY LASHLEY's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT FOLLOWED BY A HUGE PYRO DISPLAY. Cole: "Well if you guys don't mind if we chime in here, Bobby Lashley isn't competing for ECW or for Rampage tonight, he is PrimeTime through and through and I can't wait to see this one"! HTM: "This is like a big bull meeting a rhinoceros! Who will flinch first"! Lawler: "Well with all due respect, well except for you Honky Tonk Man, Sylvester Terkay has been the closest thing to unstoppable in the TWF over the last several months and I don't see Bobby Lashley being able to do much about that"! J.R.: "Both of these men are supreme physical athletes and this will no doubt be a great match"! Sylvester Terkay vs. Bobby Lashley Without a doubt, this was the best match of the night. Lashley and Terkay locked up and battled for position. Terkay tried to break free, but Lashley showed his incredible strength, just flinging Terkay over his body to the mat. Lashley then showed his true amatuer ability, working Terkay on the mat. Terkay was able to get up and Lashley ran the ropes but Terkay came back with a nasty judo style, STO takedown. Terkay then grabbed the right arm of Lashley, slapping on a fujiwara armbar. Lashley was able to reach his left hand to the ropes to break the hold. Terkay got to his feet and went into an MMA stance, striking Lashley with some stiff kicks when he got up before moving in close for to hard uppercuts to the body. Terkay then threw a roundhouse kick but Lashley ducked and delivered a huge spinebuster. After a big powerslam, Lashley backed up into the corner and when Terkay got up, Lashley ran through him with a spear. He was able to make the cover and referee Mickey Henson made the 1...........2........, but miraculously, Terkay got a shoulder up. Lashley tried to pull him up, but Terkay used a single leg to take him down and turn him over with a single leg crab. Lashley pushed up, showing tremendous power, before flinging Terkay off. Terkay came in but Lashley picked him up and drove him into the corner. After a couple right hands, Lashley shot Terkay to the ropes and lifted the big man into the air with a backbody drop. Lashley then slapped on his own single leg crab, but Terkay was able to wiggle his leg free and from a defensive position, he kicked Lashley in the right kneecap before getting to his feet and grabbing Lashley around the head and neck before violently taking him to the mat. Terkay waited for Lashley to get up and began peppering him with right hands and left jabs. Finally, Lashley blocked one and came back with some right hands of his own before grabbing Terkay for a big belly to belly suplex. From the back, Elijah Burke came running to the ring and he jumped on the apron. But Lashley saw him the whole time and grabbed him by the head, flinging him into the ring. Lashley then slammed into Burke with a spear but as Burke rolled out of the ring holding his abdomen, Terkay came from behind. Lashley turned and kicked him in the gut before getting him up for the Dominator. Terkay was able to slip off and he grabbed Lashley's right arm, driving it into the mat with a reverse armbar DDT. Lashley yelled and rolled around in pain as Terkay got him in position for the standing armbar triangle. It looked like Lashley would have no choice but to tap out, but he wheeled his body around and got his right foot on the rope. Henson called for a break and Terkay stepped back. Lashley slowly got to his feet, but his right arm hung and was basically useless. Lashley winced in pain and as he made his way back to Terkay, the Manbear socked him in the chest, dropping him with the Heart Punch. Terkay fell into a cover and got the 1.........2........3. Match Time: 9:48 J.R.: "Sylvester Terkay has just picked up a huge win, and guys, I think Lashley is hurt bad". Cole: "It sure looks that way and what an unfortuate set of circumstances that would be". "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN AND TERKAY HELPED ELIJAH BURKE UP THE RAMP AS THE TRAINER RAN DOWN TO THE RING TO CHECK ON LASHLEY. Lawler: "Well there goes the trainer, and it sure doesn't look good". HTM: "Oh come on, King, I'm just waiting for you to start talking about Rampage being better than PrimeTime! Isn't that what you're waiting for"?! Lawler: "Look, I'm not even gonna waste my time with you! A man is seriously hurt, that's all that matters"! J.R.: "We will try to keep you updated on the status of Bobby Lashley on TWF.com, but Sylvester Terkay just got perhaps the biggest win of his TWF career". BACKSTAGE...... IN THE BACK, TODD GRISHAM IS STANDING WITH CHRIS PLATOON. Todd Grisham: "Chris Platoon, we recently learned courtesy of TWF.com that you and Chris Tirpak will go one on one tonight in a WrestleMania Jackpot qualification match". Chris Platoon: "Finally, the suits in this company proved to be halfway intelligent. They realized that they couldn't have a WrestleMania Jackpot match without me. So after I win tonight and win the Jackpot, I will be as smart, as calculating, and as dangerous as anyone who has ever held that briefcase! So right now, I want to put everyone in the WrestleMania Jackpot match or anyone else who will be in it on alert...... that briefcase is mine"! PLATOON WALKS AWAY AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING. "TNT" BY AC/DC HITS AND CHRIS TIRPAK BEGINS TO MAKE HIS WAY THROUGH THE CHEERING CROWD, TOWARDS THE RING. IN HIS HAND IS A KENDO STICK. J.R.: "Three spots have already been determined in the WrestleMania Jackpot match and we're about to add a fourth"! Lawler: "Well somebody better tell Tirpak he can't use that kendo stick"! "FIREFLY" BY BREAKING BENJAMIN COMES ON AS SOON AS TIRPAK GETS INTO THE RING AND CHRIS PLATOON STEPS OUT TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. J.R.: "Chris Platoon just told Todd Grisham and our viewing audience that he would not only win this match, but the entire Jackpot"! ON HIS WAY TO THE RING, PLATOON SEES THE FAN THAT's BEEN AT MANY OF THE SHOWS LATELY, SITTING IN THE FRONT ROW, AND HE IS HOLDING UP A SIGN THAT READS "PLATOON WILL HIT THE JACKPOT". Lawler: "Well it looks like there's at least one person who believes he can do it"! WrestleMania Jackpot Qualification Match Chris Platoon vs. Chris Tirpak The bell sounded and the two men made their way to the center of the ring. Platoon extended his hand but as Tirpak looked into the crowd to get their thoughts on whether he should shake it or not, Platoon paintbrushed him with a slap across the face. Tirpak threw a wild right hand that Platoon ducked before kicking him in the gut and shooting him to the ropes. Platoon then locked in a sleeper hold, but Tirpak was still too strong, driving Platoon into the corner before hitting the ropes and delivering a big clothesline. Tirpak then pulled Platoon into a snap suplex before getting to his feet and delivering a big legdrop. Tirpak made the cover, but Platoon was up at 2. Tirpak then grabbed Platoon by the hair and pulled him up, whipping him to the corner. But when Tirpak ran in, Platoon got in a back elbow before taking him down with a clothesline. After hitting the ropes, Platoon landed a big kneedrop but when he pulled Tirpak up, Tirpak flung Platoon's arms outward and cracked him with a hard right hand before picking him up for a sidewalk slam. This was just a dominant effort by Tirpak, and after wearing Platoon down with his power game, Tirpak shot him to the ropes but Platoon ducked a clothesline. He then kicked him in the abdomen and went for a neckbreaker but Tirpak escaped it and got Platoon on his shoulders, hitting the "Lights Out" out of nowhere! Tirpak then covered him for the 3 count to advance to the WrestleMania Jackpot! Match Time: 5:09 J.R.: "It's lights out for Platoon and Chris Tirpak has become the fourth man to qualify for the Jackpot match"! Lawler: "That was all Tirpak, J.R.! A no doubter there"! AS "TNT" PLAYED AND TIRPAK PLAYED TO THE CROWD IN THE RING, THE FAN WITH THE SIGN TRIED TO PAT PLATOON ON THE BACK, BUT PLATOON TURNED AND NAILED HIM WITH A RIGHT HAND! PLATOON THEN YANKED THE FAN OVER THE BARRICADE AND KICKED HIM IN THE RIBS BEFORE OFFICIALS CAME OUT FROM THE BACK TO STOP HIM. J.R.: "What in the hell has gotten into Chris Platoon! That is a paying fan he is attacking! My God....... Lawler: "I hope the TWF has some good attorneys.... that was a big mistake"! J.R.: "As far as I'm concerned, Chris Platoon needs to be suspended indefinitely"! THE TRAINER TENDED TO THE FAN AS PLATOON WAS ESCORTED UP THE RAMP TO THE BACK. CAMERAS SHOW THE "LOON CAFE" IN MINNEAPOLIS FROM THE OUTSIDE BEFORE CAMERAS ON THE INSIDE SHOW JORDAN ROCKWELL SITTING AT THE BAR, DRINKING A GLASS OF WATER. Cole: "Fans that is the Loon Cafe and tonight, it is the sight of the bar room brawl scheduled between Jordan Rockwell and JBL"! HTM: "Rockwell is waiting for the arrival of JBL, and if I know JBL, he'll keep him waiting until he's good and ready"! Cole: "We have a few correspondents out on the scene who will notify us when JBL arrives and he shouldn't be tough to spot. He'll probably pull up in that white limo with the bullhorns on it"! HTM: "I can't wait until he gets there"! J.R.: "Well fans we are just about ready to see a future TWF hall of famer in action, but as part of WrestleMania, the Hall of Fame will be inducting a new class for 2008. We already know that Bret Hart will be inducted this year, but we are ready to announce our second entrant into the hall, and King, it's another Canadian". Lawler: "Really, who made that call"? J.R.: "Oh, King, I don't think you'll have any complaints about this one.... take a look, they call her the toast of Toronto". TWF Hall of Fame Class of 2008 Inductee- Trish Stratus Trish Stratus came to the TWF in February 2008, shortly after it's inception. Upon her arrival, it was very clear she was a beautiful woman. But no one would have guessed what she could do in the ring. For much of her career, she was the manager of Travis Wakeman, later marrying the "Technical Magician", live on Pay-Per-View. But what made Trish the complete package was the fact that she was able to become as good a female wrestler that there has ever been. Her athletic ability, combined with her desire to compete made her the most memorable diva of all time. Trish left the TWF in 2006, but even though she was no longer part of the active roster, she was rewarded with a lifetime contract, something given to very few. We are pleased to welcome Trish Stratus into the TWF Hall of Fame. BACK TO LIVE ACTION, "PICTURES" BY SYSTEM OF A DOWN HITS AND EYE SPY COMES OUT ALONG WITH CANDICE MICHELLE. CANDICE IS CARRYING BOTH THE RAMPAG TAG TEAM TITLES AND ALEX SHELLEY HAS HIS CAMERA AND TRIPOD. M.X. OGDEN LEADS THE TRIO TO THE RING. J.R.: "What an addition Trish Stratus is going to make to the Hall of Fame but right now, M.X. Ogden is about to face another superstar ready to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame! Hey, Alex Shelley might actually have a good reason to have that camera tonight"! Lawler: "Well if Ogden can pull this off, I guarantee it's a video Eye Spy will replay for quite some time! But there's still no guarantee that Bret Hart is even here"! JUST THEN, BRET HART's MUSIC HITS AND THE CROWD GOES ABSOLUTELY WILD AS HE COMES OUT ALONG WITH JIM NIEDHART. J.R.: "Does that answer your question?! Bret Hart is on his way to the ring, and it's gotta be sinking in for Ogden now"! Lawler: "Don't question M.X. Ogden, J.R.! I think, contrary to popular belief, he wants this match! I thought we were done with Bret Hart in the TWF, but if Ogden has anything to say about it, we will be after tonight"! J.R.: "Well this all started at the Royal Rumble where Jim Niedhart, a wrestling legend in his own right, was minding his own business as a spectator and these two punks, Eye Spy, decided to mess with him! Now, if Bret Hart can win this match, the old Hart Foundation get Eye Spy at WrestleMania"! M.X. Ogden w/ Candice and Alex Shelley vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart w/ Jim "The Anvil" Niedhart As the bell sounded, the huge crowded was chanting "Let's go Bret". Ogden walked up to him and started the match off with a slap across the face, showing a total lack of respect. Hart wiped his cheek and fired back with 3 stiff right hands, knocking Ogden into the ropes. Off an irish whip, Bret dropped his head a little early and Ogden kicked him in the chest. But after running the ropes himself, Ogden ran right into an inverted atomic drop. Hart followed up with a side russian leg sweep before going to the middle turnbuckle, flying off with an elbow right across the chin. Bret grabbed the feet of Ogden, and stomped right on his abdomen. To slow Hart down, Ogden wisely rolled under the bottom rope to the floor and huddled up with Candice and Shelley to regroup. Hart allowed Ogden to get right back in the ring but when he went after him, Ogden got a quick finger to his eyes before raking his face again. Ogden then took a page out of the Hitman's book, focusing on a body part, choosing the right arm to try and hamper him. After a big armbar DDT, Ogden tried to lock in an armbar but Bret showed great mat technique, escaping and rolling Ogden up for a very near fall. Both men got to their feet and Ogden beat Hart to the punch before catching him with a jumping enziguri. After a big scoop slam, Ogden went to the top rope, flying through the air with a legdrop. But Hart rolled out of the way just in time, bringing the crowd back into the match. Hart then picked Ogden up, delivering a side backbreaker. From there, Hart loaded Ogden up and executed a textbook piledriver, folding him up with it. Bret made the cover and got the 1.........2........, but Ogden got up. Seeing the match falling out of her man's favor, Candice got up on the apron, but The Anvil made his way over. Shelley got on the apron, looking to pounce on Niedhart from behind, but Niedhart turned around as he flew off, catching him in mid air and driving him into the steel ring post. In the ring, Ogden escaped Hart's attempt at the Sharpshooter, kicking him square in the face. After a flipping neckbreaker, Ogden made the cover but Bret kicked out at 2 and a half. Ogden couldn't believe it as he pulled Bret up and shot him to the ropes. But Bret came off and used a sunset flip when Ogden dropped his head, turning him over as referee Jack Doan pounded the mat for the 3 count! Match Time: 8:20 J.R.: "He got him! The Hart Foundation are going to WrestleMania"! Lawler: "Did he really get three"?! HART's MUSIC PLAYED AND HE AND THE ANVIL STOOD IN THE RING, TAKING IN THE HUGE CHEERS FROM THE CROWD AS EYE SPY RETREATED. J.R.: "He damn well did and M.X. Ogden just found out first hand what it's like to face a TWF hall of famer"! Lawler: "Well, that may be, but at WrestleMania, the Hart Foundation will face the best team the TWF has to offer and we all know they've seen their better days! It'll be a different story at WrestleMania, I can assure you of that"! BACKSTAGE AREA....... CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW CHRIS MASTERS ADMIRING THE TWF WORLD TITLE WHEN PAUL HEYMAN COMES UP. Paul Heyman: "Hey there, champ. Look, tonight you and my client are tag team partners, and I think we both know what the result of that match should be. I am just here to make sure you are on the same page". Chris Masters: "Paul, go and tell your client......... MASTERS PAUSES AND LOOKS UP AS BOOS POUR IN FROM INSIDE THE ARENA WHEN JOE COREY ENTERS THE SHOT. Joe Corey: "Masters"........ Masters: "Corey"......... Corey: "Follow my lead". COREY AND HEYMAN WALK AWAY AND HEYMAN IS EXPLAINING SOMETHING TO COREY. Masters (to himself): "I already did that once". THE SHOT GOES TO ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA, WHERE JASON OLIVER IS SHOWN TALKING WITH BACKSTAGE AGENT STEVE KEIRN. JUST THEN, TAZ COMES UP. Jason Oliver: "Uh, I'll catch up with ya later". KEIRN NODS, LOOKS AT TAZ, AND WALKS AWAY. Oliver: "Can I help you"? Taz: "No, you can't. That's exactly what I came here to tell you. I don't know what the hell you got involved in my business for a couple weeks ago, but I don't need anyone's help, especially not yours". THE TWO MEN STARE ONE ANOTHER DOWN BEFORE TAZ WALKS PAST. Cole: "We have just received word that JBL has just arrived at the Loon Cafe, so let's send it there now"! THE SHOT RETURNS TO THE LOON CAFE. JORDAN ROCKWELL IS SEATED AT THE BAR, TALKING TO THE BARTENDER, WHEN THE DOOR OPENS AND JBL COMES IN. JBL IS WEARING BLUE JEANS, COWBOY BOOTS AND A WHITE T-SHIRT. ROCKWELL IS ALSO IN STREET CLOTHES. ROCKWELL STANDS UP AND THROWS HIS BAR STOOL ASIDE AS JBL COMES AT HIM. Bar Room Brawl JBL vs. Jordan Rockwell Referee Mike Enos came into the bar soon after the two men started swinging. There was nothing fancy about this and haymakers were being thrown by both men at a rapid pace. After getting a big knee into the gut, JBL yelled for the bartender to get out of the way. As he scrambled out of side, JBL put Rockwell's head underneath the door that leads into the bar entrance, slamming it on his head 3 times. After a kick to the face, JBL demanded Enos start counting. The only way to win the match was to put your opponent down for a 10 count. Rockwell got up at 6. JBL threw a right hand but Rockwell blocked it and after 2 right hands of his own, he threw JBL face first into the wall. A very expensive tv that was mounted on the wall was next, and Rockwell threw JBL right into that. He then grabbed a bottle of liquor, it looked like Wild Turkey, and he began pouring it down JBL's throat! JBL was actually gagging at the amount of alcohol he'd just consumed, and Rockwell then delivered a kick to the stomach. Rockwell went to a pool table and grabbed a cue. But as he lifted it over his head, JBL punched him right in the groin. JBL then used the pool cue, breaking it across the back of Rockwell. JBL waited for him to get up, going for the "Clothesline from Hell" when he did. But Rockwell ducked and pushed JBL over the bar! Rockwell began to collect himself when he was hit with a beer bottle over the head from behind! Glass went everywhere and Rockwell was bleeding from the back of his head as PJ Cash came into the shot, holding what was left of the beer bottle! PJ Cash then opened the door to get into the bar, helping JBL up. JBL picked Rockwell up and pulled him over to a nearby table. From there, JBL picked Rockwell up over his head, delivering a powerbomb right through the table! The table broke in half and JBL and Cash backed off as Enos administered the 10 count. JBL refused to let Enos raise his hand in victory as he and PJ Cash left the bar. The bartender ran back in and picked up the phone, calling 911. Match Time: 5:16 THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE PRIMETIME ANNOUNCE TABLE. HTM: "Well go figure, JBL had something up his sleeve". Cole: "Yeah, I know you're not surprised, and I guess none of us should be, but how does PJ Cash figure into this"?! HTM: "PJ Cash, if you remember, said he was in a good position and we just figured out what that was"! Cole: "Well there's obviously some serious repercussions coming for JBL and PJ Cash, you can bet on that, but let's just hope Rockwell wasn't seriously injured! We understand that paramedics are on the scene now and we will try to keep you updated with any information we receive". BACKSTAGE AREA........ THE FANS LET OUT A COLLECTIVE "WOOOOOOO" AS RIC FLAIR IS SHOWN IN THE BACK WITH TODD GRISHAM. Todd Grisham: "Nature Boy Ric Flair, tonight, you face Money Mike, and we all know this is a match you've been waiting for a long time for. But it looks like you have a plan". Ric Flair: "Woooooooo! Todd, you gotta know, as long as I've done this, I always have a plan. We all know about Money Mike, he's got Stephanie McMahon with him, and we all know she can't be trusted. So I've got someone to watch my back tonight......... THE FANS WILDLY CHEER AS UFC FIGHTER CHUCK LIDDELL COMES INTO THE SHOT. My good friend, former UFC Lightheavyweight champion, the Iceman, Chuck Liddell........ wooooooooooo"! LIDDELL FOLLOWS FLAIR OUT OF THE SHOT. A BUZZER SOUNDS AND A GATE OPENS. THE SCENE IS AT A RODEO AND A COWBOY IS DOING ALL HE CAN TO STAY ATOP A BUCKING BULL. FINALLY, THE BULL KNOCKS THE COWBOY OFF, AND THE COWBOY TAKES A NASTY SPILL. BUT THE BULL ISN'T DONE, HE BEGINS TO GO AFTER THE COWBOY WITH HIS HORNS. A RODEO CLOWN TRIES TO RUN OUT TO ASSIST, BUT HE RUNS RIGHT INTO A CLOTHESLINE. THE CROWD APPAUDS AS KEN KENNEDY STEPS OUT, WEARING A COMPLETELY RED JUMPSUIT. HE IS ALMOST DARING THE BULL TO CHARGE HIM. THE BULL BEGINS TO SNARL, WHEN KENNEDY PULLS OUT A MICROPHONE. Ken Kennedy: "Ladies and gentleman, don't be afraid of this massive, yet very disgusting beast. He wants you to be scared of him, but what he doesn't realize, is that he is looking into the eyes of Misterrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Kennedyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"! WITH THAT, THE BULL TURNS AND RUNS BACK INTO THE GATE AS ANOTHER COWBOY SHUTS HIM INSIDE. KENNEDY THEN GOES AND HELPS THE COWBOY WHO RODE THE BULL TO HIS FEET. THE COWBOY STARTS TO DUST HIS PANTS OFF, BUT BEFORE HE CAN, KENNEDY SHOUTS IN HIS EAR. "Kennedyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"! THE CROWD AGAIN CHEERS AS MR. KENNEDY's MUSIC BEGINS TO PLAY OVER THE RODEO SPEAKERS. THE RODEO CLOWN LOOKS UP, STILL LAYING ON THE GROUND. Rodeo Clown: "I knew everything was bigger in Texas..... but what the hell is this"? Audio Voiceover: "Join the TWF, for our annual pay-per-view spectacular, live from Houston, Texas! Everything is bigger in Texas". > BACKSTAGE...... IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA, LENA YADA IS STANDING BY WITH JOE COREY AND PAUL HEYMAN. Lena Yada: "Joe Corey, we are moments away from tonight's main event, but I have to ask, how are you after losing the ECW World title"? Joe Corey: "Well, congratulations, Edge. You have managed to bring me to the one place you did not want me to be going into WrestleMania. You see, when this all started, I had the vision of being the first man in TWF history to hold two World Championship belts at the same time. And not only that, but I was going to get to face a man that I respected, on the grandest stage of them all, in order to do it. Then a funny thing happened, you did to me what you do to everyone else, and I guess I have myself to blame for that. For years, people have said that you are the ultimate opportunist, but I always just said that people didn’t understand what you were doing. It wasn’t deviousness that you were displaying, it was brilliance. That is until last week, because last week was when you did the dumbest thing you could have done. For months now, I have been telling the world that Chaos Wolf made the biggest mistake of his career when he decided to turn on me and ECW. And just when I was about to close the book on that chapter, you had to get involved and cost me my ECW World Championship. Now don’t take this as an excuse. Chaos Wolf beat me in a Lights Out match, and one thing that people can’t say about me is that I come to the table with excuses. When someone beats me, I am the first one to extend my hand to them like a man and congratulate them. That however will not be the case with you Edge.
You took what was mine, a title that I had held onto for over a year. I beat Rob Van Dam during that time. I brought Nemesis back to WrestleMania, and I beat him during that time. I decimated Johnny Hazard and Bobby Lashley during that time. And most importantly, I retired Batista during that time. No one has been able to touch me for over a year, and that is what is eating you up inside, Edge. You are now a three time Universal Champion, but you cannot even start to think about a reign like mine, even if you total up all of yours. You see what I do, and that is hold onto championship belts, and it drives you insane. You want the proof Edge, well here it is. Longest reigning King of Cable… ever! Longest reigning World Champion in the TWF… ever! 2004 Rookie of the Year, 2007 Wrestler of the Year, and 2008 King of the Ring. When you can put up a resume like that, then we can talk!
And now tonight, we are going to be on opposite sides of the main event at Code Red. Well all I have to say to Chris Masters and Ken Kennedy is to stay out of my way. You see Edge, I get the opportunity to take you out before WrestleMania. I have the chance to make you see that you made the biggest mistake of your career. You call yourself the Rated R Superstar? Well at Code Red, and then again at WrestleMania, they may have to rate it NC-17, because the things I’m going to do to you shouldn’t even be allowed to be seen by an audience. I am going to break your body, take your soul, your pride, and most importantly… your title. In the end, all you are going to need to know about your future Edge, is that It’s Showtime… PERIOD"! THE SHOT IS SENT BACK TO THE RING, WHERE "KING OF KINGS" BY MOTORHEAD STARTS UP AND MONEY MIKE COMES OUT ALONG WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON. PYRO RISES FROM EITHER SIDE OF THE RAMP AS THE FANS BOO AND SHOW THEIR SHEER HATRED FOR MIKE. J.R.: "Well it looks like Joe Corey is ready for the main event, which is coming up after this match"! Lawler: "That situation between Corey and Edge is about to explode, but what about this one?! Money Mike has got to be chomping at the bit to get his hands on Flair here"! THE FANS RISE AND BEGIN TO APPLAUD AND CHEER WHEN THEY HEAR "WOOOOOOOOOO" FOLLOWED BY RIC FLAIR's MUSIC. HE MAKES HIS WAY OUT, WEARING A BLACK ROBE, AND HE IS BEING FOLLOWED BY CHUCK LIDDELL, WHO IS WEARING A PAIR OF BLUE JEANS AND A SHIRT WITH THE WORD "AFFLICTION" ON IT. J.R.: "He may be, but I know for a fact that Ric Flair is ready for this one, and I like the move he's made by adding Chuck Liddell as his cornerman"! Lawler: "Well I realize Mike has Stephanie out here, so the solution is to go and get a UFC fighter? I'm missing the logic on that one". J.R.: "Well you would, but if I know Ric Flair, he's gonna go all out in this one, and after eliminating Money Mike from this year's Royal Rumble, he's got a little bit of momentum behind him"! Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Ric Flair w/ Chuck Liddell As Flair received some last minute tips from Liddell, Money Mike attacked him from behind with a shot to the back of the head. After pounding Flair again across his neck and shoulder area, Mike grabbed him from behind, but Flair got in a mule kick with referee Mike Chioda on the other side of him. Flair then whipped the chest of Mike with 3 knifedge chops before rocking him with a right hand. When Mike hit the mat, Flair stomped on his chest several times before giving a "Wooooo" and performing his trademark strut. Mike got up but Flair was on him like a piranha, hammering him with more right hands and a few more chops in the corner. After a snap mare, Flair ran the ropes and drove his knee into Mike's upper back. Stephanie had already seen enough, and got on the apron. Flair came over and she tried to slap him, but he caught her hand and then kissed her right on the mouth! Liddell came over and pulled her off the apron, but Mike had slipped out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair. Liddell turned around and Mike pounded him over the head with the chair! The crowd was stunned as Mike rolled back into the ring. Flair was waiting for him and he hit 2 more right hands but Mike got in a kick to the midsection before throwing Flair head first into the top turnbuckle. After stumbling around the ring, Flair fell face first to the mat. Mike pulled Flair up and planted him with a vicious DDT. With a look of serious anger across his face, Mike pulled Flair up by the hair before grabbing him under the right arm and lifting him up, driving him into the mat with the "Money Pit". Mike hooked the leg and got the 3 count to bring an abrupt end to the match. Match Time: 3:46 J.R.: "And just like that, this is over"! Lawler: "Well that should teach Flair to put his hands on the billion dollar princess, and look at Chuck Liddell! Money Mike laid him out too"! J.R.: "Yeah, well it took a steel chair to do that, but what the hell is Money Mike doing now"! MIKE ASKED STEPHANIE FOR THE CHAIR HE CRACKED LIDDELL WITH, AND SHE SLID IT INTO HIM. WITH FLAIR STILL DOWN, MIKE PICKED UP THE CHAIR AND RAISED IT OVER HIS HEAD. THE CROWD WAS BOOING BUT MOST OF THEM CAME TO THEIR FEET IN CHEER AS JOHN CENA RAN OUT FROM THE BACK AND SLID INTO THE RING. MIKE SWUNG THE CHAIR AT HIM BUT CENA DUCKED AND LIFTED HIM UP FOR THE "F-U"! Lawler: "What the hell is John Cena doing"?! He's a PrimeTime guy"! J.R.: "Yeah, but he's obviously one of the many who have respect for Ric Flair, and he didn't want to see what Mike was about to do"! CHUCK LIDDELL GOT TO HIS FEET, AND CENA INVITED HIM INTO THE RING. LIDDELL LOOKED INTO THE CROWD, WHO LOUDLY CHEERED, AND HE CAME INTO THE RING. LIDDELL WAITED ON MONEY MIKE AS STEPHANIE YELLED FROM THE FLOOR. WHEN MIKE GOT UP, LIDDELL HIT HIM WITH A RIGHT HOOK, KNOCKING HIM CLEAN OUT! J.R.: "Oh look at that! Money Mike is seeing stars! Chuck Liddell has knocked him into another time frame"! Lawler: "Well I don't care if Chuck Liddell is a former UFC champion..... he's gonna pay for that"! "THE TIME IS NOW" HIT AND CENA RAISED THE RIGHT ARM OF LIDDELL BEFORE THEY BOTH HELPED RIC FLAIR TO HIS FEET. THE FANS WERE LOUDLY CHEERING AS FLAIR SHOOK THE HANDS OF BOTH MEN. J.R.: "Well, I'd like to see that! Liddell is one of the most feared fighters on the planet and just as you said Flair learned his lesson not to put his hands on Stephanie, I'd say Money Mike has learned his lesson about putting his hands on the Iceman"! BACKSTAGE........ THE SHOT GOES INTO THE BACKSTAGE AREA, WHERE LENA YADA HAS CAUGHT UP WITH CHAOS WOLF, WHO HAS THE ECW WORLD TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER. Lena Yada: "Chaos Wolf, we are just moments away from the main event, which will feature Joe Corey, who you took the ECW World title from. Tell us what that felt like". Chaos Wolf: "Lena, to be honest, it felt about as good as (he looks her up and down), well you know. Joe Corey, you told the world I couldn't beat you. And I don't care if you want to blame it on Edge, the fact that your panties were riding up, or what, this is mine! (He pats the title belt) And just so......... WOLF IS CUT OFF IN MID SENTENCE WHEN SYLVESTER TERKAY COMES UP AND GETS IN HIS FACE. TERKAY AND WOLF ENGAGE IN ABOUT A 10 SECOND STAREDOWN, AND TERKAY LOOKS AT THE BELT BEFORE WALKING OFF. Chaos Wolf: "Wow, that was one ugly dude". WOLF WALKS OFF AND LENA IS JUST SMILING. BACK AT RINGSIDE, THE LIGHTS ARE OFF AND A RED FLASH STREAKS ACROSS THE ARENA. THAT IS FOLLOWED BY "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI AND JOE COREY COMES OUT OF THE ECW ENTRANCE, LED BY PAUL HEYMAN. Cole: "Well here comes the man who likes to be called The Show, but he is without something we have gone a very long time seeing him without". HTM: "Well I hope Chaos Wolf is happy with the way he won that title, because if he thinks for one second he could do it again, he's stupider than he looks"! J.R.: "Well if I can jump in for a minute, guys, it looks to me like Sylvester Terkay has a bit of an issue with Chaos Wolf, based on what we just saw". THE BOOS CONTINUE WHEN CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC HITS AND PYRO STARTS TO GO OFF ON THE STAGE. MASTERS STEPS OUT WITH THE TWF WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST, AND BEGINS TO POSE, AS ALWAYS. Cole: "It does look that way, but if you want my honest opinion, Chaos Wolf becoming ECW World champion is still not as big a surprise as the championship reign this man has put together"! Lawler: "Okay, now it's my turn to step in, and that is to ask you all to quiet down! Look at the Masterpiece and appreciate our World champion"! HTM: "Oh, Lawler, why don't you come make me be quiet?! I've got a guitar sitting here with your name on it"! Lawler: "Ya know what, J.R., they're gonna have to get someone out here and fast unless they want to be looking for a new announcer for PrimeTime already"! "MISTERRRRRRRR KENNEDYYYYYY" IS HEARD AND KEN KENNEDY COMES OUT TO A VERY BIG CHEER AS HIS MUSIC PLAYS. J.R.: "Okay, let's just drop that kind of talk, besides, it's about to get real loud out here anyway"! KENNEDY COMES INTO THE RING AND REACHES HIS HAND OUT AS A MICROPHONE DROPS DOWN FROM ABOVE. M. Kennedy: "Ladies and gentleman, tonight, I weign in at an immaculate two hundred and forty seven pounds..... I hail from Green Bay, Wisconson! Misterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......... Chris Masters you better shine that belt up the way I like it before WrestleMania........... Kennedyyyyyyyyyyy"! J.R.: "He certainly doesn't lack charisma"! Cole: "Or confidence! Kennedy sounds pretty ready to face Chris Masters at WrestleMania". "YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME" IS HEARD AND SMOKE FILLS THE ENTRANCE. "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE COMES ON AND EDGE RUNS OUT WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS. J.R.: "That will take place at WrestleMania. Tonight, it's a tag team match and if I've gotta be honest, I'd say Chris Masters and Joe Corey are the more cohesive tag team here". Lawler: "Well we all remember when Masters made his debut in the TWF, he aligned himself with Joe Corey, but I don't remember their seperation being all that great"! HTM: "The two teams will just have to work together, just like I'm working with you tonight, Lawler"! WrestleMania Showcase Chris Masters and "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Paul Heyman vs. Edge and Mr. Kennedy Rampage referee Jim Korderas was in charge and he called for the bell to start the match. Chris Masters and Edge, the respective champions for each show, stood in the ring across from one another. But Joe Corey was screaming for a tag so he could get in the ring with Edge. Masters slapped his hand but Edge went over and made the tag to Kennedy. Kennedy came in the ring, asking Edge what he was afraid of, but Corey attacked him from behind. Corey was all over Kennedy with right hands before shooting him to the ropes for a clothesline. After tagging Masters, Corey acted like he was going to exit the ring, but he instead turned and charged Edge, knocking him off the apron with a right hand. Corey went to his corner at the order of Korderas as Masters laid into Kennedy. After several kicks while in the corner, Masters lifted Kennedy to the top rope and after 2 right hands, he climbed up with him. Masters wanted to hit a superplex, but Kennedy escaped his clutches and pushed him to the mat before flying off with a crossbody. Kennedy was able to get a 2 count. Both men got to their feet and Masters threw a Polish Hammer, but Kennedy ducked and drilled him with a yakuza kick as he came off the other side. A tag was made to Edge, who picked right up where Kennedy left off. After a nice dropkick on Masters, Edge measured him for the spear but instead turned to Corey and speared him off the apron to the floor! Corey hit hard, holding his midsection as Heyman came over to check on him. In the ring, Edge went for the spear again but Masters moved out of the way and then locked in the "Masterlock"! Edge was in a lot of trouble, but Kennedy came into the ring to break it up. Edge rolled to the floor and grabbed his Universal title, ready to walk out. But as he started to leave, Corey got up and drilled him with a clothesline. In the ring, Kennedy tried to launch himself over the top rope but Masters hit him in the back of the head with the double sledge. Corey got up on the apron and tagged himself in before picking Kennedy up and hitting the "Showstopper", covering him for the 1.........2........3! Match Time: 6:30 J.R.: "Well what the hell just happened"?! HTM: "You talk about taking matters into your own hands! Joe Corey just took out Edge and then beat Kennedy"! Lawler: "Forget about that, what about the message he's sent going into WrestleMania"?! "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN AND COREY LEFT ALONG WITH PAUL HEYMAN AS MASTERS LOOKED ON FROM IN THE RING, NOT SEEMING TOO HAPPY. Cole: "The TWF World champion doesn't seem too happy about being on the winning side of things, but you're right, King, he has sent a big message to Edge as we head to the biggest event of the year"! J.R.: "It probably doesn't make up for losing the ECW World title, but Corey did exactly what he set out to do tonight! Rampage and PrimeTime are sure to be exciting heading into WrestleMania........ good night everyone"! THE SHOT FADED OUT AFTER GETTING A LOOK AT EDGE, WHO WAS EXTREMELY ANGRY AS HE PICKED HIMSELF UP OFF THE FLOOR.
