THE SCENE OPENS UP IN A CHAOTIC HOSPITAL AS A STRETCHER HAS JUST BEEN PUSHED THROUGH THE EMERGENCY ENTRANCE.
2 NURSES STAND ON EITHER SIDE OF THE STRETCHER AS A DOCTOR ASKS FOR SOME PERTINENT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE MAN ON THE STRETCHER. THE CAMERA ANGLE MOVES UP TO SHOW TRAVIS WAKEMAN, HIS EYES CLOSED SHUT.
SEVERAL DIFFERENT VOICES, BOTH MALE AND FEMALE, BEGIN TO SPEAK INSIDE THE HEAD OF THE SEEMINGLY LIFELESS WAKEMAN. IT's HARD TO FIGURE OUT WHY IT IS BEING SAID, AS IT IS ALL VERY RANDOM.
"It's a boy".
"Can you watch him tonight"?
"I'm sorry maam, but your son is failing my class, are you sure he's not a deaf mute"?
"I don't want to go to school anymore"!

SUDDENLY, THE PICTURE WAKEMAN RECEIVED OF HIS FIRST MATCH A FEW WEEKS AGO FLASHES ACROSS THE SCREEN, FOLLOWED BY THE BUILDING THAT APPEARED ON THE TWF TRON.
WITH THAT, WAKEMAN SITS UP OFF THE STRETCHER IN A COLD SWEAT, BREATHING VERY HEAVILY.
Voiceover: "And now, TWF Entertainment presents........
THE ROSE GARDEN THEN COMES INTO THE SHOT AND IT IS ROCKING WITH OVER 12,000 FANS. ONE VERY CREATIVE SIGN IS SHOWN BEING HELD UP IN THE HANDS OF A FAN FEATURING A TERRIFIC DRAWING OF MAX OGDEN SITTING IN A THRONE WEARING A CROWN AND HOLDING A SCEPTER WITH THE PHRASE "THE REAL KING" BELOW HIM.
A BLARING SIREN IS HEARD AS A FLASHING RED LIGHT SPANS THE ARENA.
Jim Ross: "Traditionally it has been the lead-in to WrestleMania! Welcome to Code Red everybody from Portland, Oregon"!
THE RING IS SHOWN, UNIQUELY DESIGNED WITH RED ROPES AND A PURE WHITE MAT TO GO WITH BLACK STEEL POSTS AND THE APRON WITH THE CODE RED LOGO. THE FAMILIAR "OCTAGON" FROM THE UFC IS SHOWN ON SIDE OF THE ENTRANCE AND ON THE OTHER SIDE IS A LARGE PLATFORM ABOUT 15 FEET IN THE AIR, CONTAINING A THRONE ON TOP OF IT. IT HAS 4 LADDERS WHICH LEAD TO THE TOP.
Jerry Lawler: "And as you can see, we're gonna have action in many different areas tonight, J.R."!
J.R.: "Of course the King's Throne match, which we still don't know the rules for, but we also have our friends from the UFC here tonight, putting on a fight between two top ranked fighters"!
THE THEME FROM THE "GODFATHER" MOVIES HITS AND ALDO CORLEONE COMES OUT WITH ROB STORM TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS.
Lawler: "And it looks like we're starting things off with the Canadian-Italian exchange"!
J.R.: "It will be one on one here between this man, nearly three pounds of Italian muscle, Aldo Corleone and Lenny Armstead".
Lawler: "We've seen Lenny Armstead have his problems with both these guys lately but do you think he's bitten off more than he can chew here"?
"HIGHER" BY THE GAME HITS AND LENNY ARMSTEAD COMES OUT TO A GOOD POP.
J.R.: "The last time we saw Lenny Armstead on pay-per-view, he was lasting until the end of the Royal Rumble match, becoming the runner-up! But you're right, King, Aldo has been untouchable since his arrival and I don't know how much I like Armstead's chances here tonight".
Aldo Corleone w/ Rob Storm vs. Lenny Armstead The bell sounded and Armstead stood across from the very imposing Aldo, trying to decide how to come at him. Aldo didn't give him much time to think, coming at him and swinging a right hand, but Lenny avoided it and went to his bread and butter, his feet. After kicking Aldo in each leg twice, he hit the ropes and connected with a dropkick that knocked the big man into the corner. Lenny then got a running start and jumped onto the middle turnbuckle, but Aldo pushed him several feet back and Lenny landed hard on the mat. Aldo charged in with a clothesline but Lenny countered with a drop toehold. He then saw Storm up on the apron and Lenny used a baseball slide to dropkick the right foot of Storm, knocking him off the apron which he hit his head on on the way down. Lenny then sprung to the middle ring rope, trying to hit a reverse crossbody but Aldo caught him in mid air and just fell to the mat with him. Aldo then sized Lenny up, drilling him with the Mafia Kick when he got up, jacking his head back. Aldo then acted like he was holding a rifle on his shoulder, pulling the trigger. When Lenny got up, Aldo kicked him in the gut and delivered the "Aldo Bomb" to put Lenny away in quick fashion. Match Time: 2:06 Lawler: "Wow.... now that was impressive"! STORM CAME INTO THE RING AND RAISED ALDO's ARM WHILE HIS MUSIC PLAYED AND THEY LOOKED DOWN AT LENNY, WHO WAS IN PLENTY OF PAIN. J.R.: "Rob Storm seems to have found himself a very dangerous man here in Aldo Corleone, he just put away one of Rampage's promising young stars with relative ease". BACKSTAGE AREA....... CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW TWF SLAUGHTERHOUSE SUPERSTAR KURT ANGLE COME UP TO MUHAMMAD HASSAN, WHO IS TALKING WITH PSYCHOSIS AND MACKENZIE ROSE. Muhammad Hassan: "Kurt, glad you could make it". ANGLE SHAKES HASSAN's HAND. Kurt Angle: "It's good to be back here on Rampage, thanks for inviting me". Hassan: "Well enjoy yourself, things are a little different from the last time you were here". Angle: "Hey, I know what a divided lockerroom is like. We've got Alexandria Caine bringing the mFw back to SlaughterHouse, but I just wanted to say that I love the job you are doing here, your reformed Rampage is great, and even though I'm only back here for one night, I have something I intend to do". THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING WHERE THE LOVELY LILIAN GARCIA STANDS. Lilian Garcia: "The following contest will be contested under Toughman rules! Please welcome the special guest referee for this match, he is the current UFC Lightheavyweight champion..... The Iceman..... Chuck Liddell"! LIDDELL IS SHOWN IN THE RING AND RAISES A FIST TO A HUGE CHEER. UMAGA's MUSIC HITS AND HE MAKES HIS WAY OUT ALONG WITH ARMANDO ALEJANDRO ESTRADA TO A LOT OF HEAT. J.R.: "It has been almost four years since we've seen a toughman rules contest here in the TWF and here comes a man who many feel is the toughest the TWF has to offer"! Lawler: "Ever since we saw Umaga take out that kid from the UFC with the Samoan Spike, the list of challengers to this guy hasn't been too long"! "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE COMES ON, BRINGING MATT CRUZ OUT TO A BIG POP. J.R.: "Well this man here is not only willing to face Umaga, he made the challenge"! Lawler: "Yeah but like I said about Lenny Armstead earlier, he may've bitten off more than he can chew with that challenge"! J.R.: "It will be a daunting challenge for Cruz. The only way to win this match is by submission, knockout or judges decision". Lawler: "Well I hate to say it, but I can't see him knocking out Umaga, making Umaga submit or lasting fifteen minutes in order to go to a decision"! Toughman Rules Umaga w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz As the match started, Cruz looked like he was in an amatuer wrestling match, getting down into the stance that helped him become an NCAA champion. The savage Umaga came right at Cruz, looking to take him out fast. But Cruz used a double leg takedown before rolling Umaga to his stomach and looking in a rear naked choke. Cruz had the hold on tight, trying to choke out the big Samoan. The hold was definitely sapping the energy of Umaga, but he showed tremendous strength by standing up with Cruz on his back and then just falling backwards. Umaga then went to the middle turnbuckle and flew off with a headbutt but Cruz rolled out of the way. Cruz then quickly locked in a front facelock and pulled back with all his might. He really had it cinched in and Estrada could only watch helplessly from the floor. Umaga was able to get up and he punched Cruz in the abdomen before lifting him up and driving him into the corner. Umaga held out his taped right thumb, looking for the Samoan Spike, but Cruz avoided it and went for an irish whip. But Umaga put the breaks on and pulled Cruz towards him. Cruz ducked a clothesline but Umaga showed true athleticism for a man his size, drilling Cruz with a barefoot superkick. Umaga yelled at Chuck Liddell to make a count. Liddell began to count but Cruz was up at 5. Umaga stayed on the attack, sending Cruz into the corner before slamming into him with a big splash. From there, Umaga shot Cruz to the ropes and tossed him into the air, catching him right into a Samoan drop, a truely amazing move. Umaga again berated Liddell, yelling at him to count. Slowly, Cruz began to stir and at 7, he got to his feet. Outside the ring, Estrada yelled at the timekeeper to get out of his chair and when he did, Estrada grabbed the chair and threw it to Umaga. But Umaga dropped the chair and shoved Liddell across the ring! Liddell got up in the face of Umaga, who was yelling something in his native tongue. Liddell yelled something back and Umaga struck him with a thrust to the throat but Liddell fired back with a nasty roundhouse to the head that dropped the three hundred and fifty pounder with ease! Cruz then grabbed the chair and smashed it over the head of Umaga, knocking him right back down. The crowd was going nuts as Liddell began to count but at the count of 8, Umaga got up. Cruz again smashed the chair over his head, putting a very noticeable dent into it. Umaga was split open as Liddell began to count one more time. Unbelievably, Umaga was up again, but he clearly didn't know where he was. Cruz took one more swing with the chair but Umaga moved and grabbed him by the throat. Cruz dropped the chair but was able to knee Umaga in the crotch before pulling him down, right onto the chair with a wicked DDT. Cruz got up and Estrada had both hands on his head as Liddell again administered a count. The crowd counted along in unison and this time, Umaga could not answer it. The bell sounded and Liddell raised the hand of Matt Cruz! Match Time: 6:20 J.R.: "Umaga has been knocked out cold"! Lawler: "Yeah, but is Chuck Liddell the special referee or Matt Cruz' tag team partner"?! "THE NEXT EPISODE" PLAYED AS CRUZ CELEBRATED THE WIN WITH THE FANS, WHO LOVED WHAT THEY WERE SEEING. J.R.: "Umaga decided to put his hands on another UFC fighter and this time, it backfired"! Lawler: "It took shot after shot with that steel chair to knock Umaga out! That, and the help of Liddell"! J.R.: "That roundhouse kick from Liddell definitely made it's mark, but let's not take anything away from Matt Cruz! He fought a great contest"! BACKSTAGE..... MUHAMMAD HASSAN's OFFICE...... MUHAMMAD HASSAN IS WATCHING THE ACTION ON A MONITOR WITH PSYCHOSIS AND MACKENZIE ROSE. Muhammad Hassan: "What the hell is Chuck Liddell doing"?! JUST THEN, TRAVIS WAKEMAN COMES INTO THE OFFICE. HE IS WEARING A PAIR OF BLACK WARM UP PANTS AND HIS BLACK FINGERLESS GLOVES. Travis Wakeman: "Hassan, you son of a bitch. Coming after me is fine, I can take it, but having Ashley K. attack Melina? You got your wish though, Melina has temporary vision damage in her right eye due to that attack". HASSAN SMILES Hassan (sarcastically): "Oh, please tell me she'll be able to be here tonight". Wakeman: "No, she won't. But it doesn't matter. I don't give a damn who you got to face me at WrestleMania because you, and whoever that guy is, will wish you never messed with me". WAKEMAN LEAVES THE OFFICE BEFORE THE SHOT IS SENT BACK TO THE RING. "MISTERRRRR KENNEDYYYYYY" IS HEARD AND THE FAMILIAR MUSIC OF MR. KENNEDY PLAYS AS HE COMES OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS FROM THE PORTLAND CROWD. J.R.: "So it appears the odds have been stacked against our World champion even further, King, as the familiar face of Melina will not be in his corner tonight". Lawler: "As much as I hate to say it, he has bigger things to worry about, J.R., even though he says he doesn't care who Muhammad Hassan has gotten to face him at WrestleMania"! "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT HITS AND PYRO EXPLODES ON THE STAGE AS ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT TO AN INCREDIBLE RESPONSE. J.R.: "A spot at WrestleMania will be on the line right here as Mr. Kennedy takes on this man for a spot in the WrestleMania Jackpot match"! Lawler: "And that match is gonna be huge, J.R., because the man who climbs the ladder and retrieves the briefcase has a guaranteed title shot anytime within the next year"! VAN DAM STEPS THROUGH THE ROPES AND GAZES OVER AT A FOCUSED KENNEDY BEFORE POSING TO THE CROWD, POINTING TO HIS SHOULDERS AS THE FANS CHANT "ROB-VAN-DAM"! J.R.: "Two of the top superstars on Rampage here in Mr. Kennedy and Rob Van Dam and this should be a great match". WrestleMania Jackpot Qualifying Match Mr. Kennedy vs. Rob Van Dam It was Kennedy who went to Hassan on the most recent Rampage, wanting a chance to get into the WrestleMania Jackpot and he came in ready for RVD. After a collar and elbow tie, Kennedy grabbed RVD in a standing side headlock. RVD was able to push him into the ropes and shoot him to the other side. RVD then went down into a leg split but Kennedy just hopped over him and kicked him square in the back. From there, Kennedy pulled him to his feet and hit a Jackhammer slam to get a very near fall. Kennedy pulled RVD up again, this time by the hair, and whipped him to the corner. But RVD got in a back elbow as Kennedy followed in before taking him out with a spinning heel kick followed by a corkscrew legdrop. Sensing the ramifications of getting a victory, RVD made the cover but Kennedy was easily up. After battering Kennedy with 3 kicks to the body and a jump kick to the head, RVD hit the ropes and went for the Rolling Thunder. But Kennedy got his knees up and RVD landed right on them on his back. Kennedy saw a chance to win here, delivering a wicked DDT to get another near fall. Kennedy pulled RVD up and kicked him in the gut before showing his versatility with a jumping kick to the back of the head. With RVD in position, Kennedy went to the top rope, possibly looking for the "Ken-Ton Bomb". But RVD started to get up and Kennedy thought better of the high risk attempt, instead drilling him with a running knee to the side of the head after getting off the top rope. Kennedy then shot RVD to the ropes and with plenty of force, powerslammed him into the mat, hooking the leg for the 1.........2........., but RVD was up again! This kickout re-energized the crowd, who Kennedy desperately tried to take out of the match. Kennedy sized him up again and went for a yakuza kick but RVD ducked and took him out with a back footsweep in one fluid motion. RVD then went to the top rope, leaping up there quickly before flying off with a martial arts kick. But Kennedy ducked and charged RVD with a big clothesline but RVD countered with a clever rollup, using his own legs to grapevine those of Kennedy and bridging up with his arms to get the 3 count. Match Time: 8:44 Lawler: "Did he get him"? J.R.: "He sure did! What a great wrestling move by RVD who has punched his ticket to WrestleMania"! RVD CELEBRATED THE WIN OUTSIDE THE RING, SLAPPING HANDS WITH MANY IN THE CROWD AS A FURIOUS KENNEDY KICKED AT THE ROPES MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE RING. Lawler: "Well you gotta feel for Mister Kennedy, he had this match won". J.R.: "Well you can never count RVD out and we've seen him take advantage of the oppurtunities he's had at WrestleMania in the past...... he'll have another golden oppurtunity this year"! BACKSTAGE........ THE SHOT GOES INTO THE BACK WHERE KRISTAL IS STANDING WITH PRIMETIME's RANDY ORTON, WHO HAS THE UNIVERSAL TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER. HE HAS HIS USUAL SMUG LOOK ABOUT HIM. Kristal: "Randy, the last time we saw you, you were delivering the RKO to an unsuspecting Travis Wakeman". Randy Orton: "Why wasn't he suspecting it? He knew I was there. It just goes to show that Travis Wakeman, along with the rest of the people out there, have no idea what is going on here. But enough about that punk, he'll be taken care of tonight. John Cena..... tonight I send you the same message I sent Wakeman on the last Rampage....... I send it with the most devastating move in this business..... the RKO"! THE FAMILIAR LAUGH OF THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN IS HEARD AS "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYS AND TED DIBIASE LEADS OUT TATANKA AND JILLIAN HALL TO A HOARD OF BOOS. J.R.: "Randy Orton will of course take part in our main event tonight, King, and we still don't have any idea who his partner is". Lawler: "Travis Wakeman has been forced to be prepared for anything, J.R., we've seen Scott Hall and Raven show up in recent weeks, it could literally be anyone"! J.R.: "Well we know who the combatants are for this one, and it will be intergender rules meaning the men can take on the women, King"! THE CROWD POPS AS HARRY SMITH's MUSIC, THE SAME AS HIS FATHER's, HITS AND HE COMES OUT WITH LUYU DAWNSTAR. Lawler: "Well I have a feeling that Luyu Dawnstar loves that fact, but I'm not sure about Harry Smith". J.R.: "We saw Luyu Dawnstar try her hand at facing Tatanka, who she has made it no secret she has major issues with, but she didn't fare too well". Lawler: "My guess is Harry Smith has offered to get in there with the Native American at all times tonight"! Intergender Tag Team Match Tatanka and Jillian Hall w/ Ted Dibiase vs. Harry Smith and Luyu Dawnstar Tatanka elected to start the match for his team and despite a protest from Luyu, Harry Smith got into the ring opposite him. The bell sounded and the two men locked up, with a riled up Smith sending Tatanka backwards to the match, showing his awesome strength for a man his age. Tatanka got up and caught Smith running in with a kick to the right kneecap before belting him with 3 very stiff knifedge chops across the chest. Tatanka then sent Smith to the corner and followed in with a big clothesline before sending a warchant Luyu's way, which drew more boos. Luyu desperately yelled for Smith to make the tag, but as Tatanka distracted referee Scott Martin, Jillian got her shots in. After a scoop slam, Tatanka hit the ropes and dropped a big elbow across the chest of Smith, making the cover for the near fall. With Smith in peril, Jillian wanted the tag. Tatanka made the tag and Jillian tried to slingshot herself off the apron with a legdrop, but she missed. Smith then got over and made the tag to Luyu, who jumped into the ring but Jillian quickly made the tag to Tatanka. Seeing this, Smith touched the shoulder of Luyu while holding the tag rope, making him the legal man in the match. Luyu was not at all happy about this, and Tatanka took advantage by catching Smith with a double sledge from behind. Tatanka then picked him up and got him onto his shoulders for the "End of the Trail" but Luyu kicked Tatanka in the abdomen through the ropes. That allowed Smith to slip free but Luyu slapped his shoulder to tag herself in. Tatanka saw this and scrambled to his corner, tagging Jillian back in. Jillian couldn't believe it, but a fired up Luyu brought her into the ring the hard way, with a big suplex. After a standing moonsault, Luyu waited for Jillian to get to her feet before dropping her with a savat kick. Luyu taunted Tatanka by reaching Jillian's hand out, giving him every oppurtunity to make the tag, but he refused. Finally, Luyu gave Tatanka a long stare and delivered the "Eagle's Landing", covering Jillian for the emphatic 3 count. Match Time: 8:48 LUYU DAWNSTAR's MUSIC PLAYED AND SHE HAD HER HAND RAISED BY MARTIN YET SHE STILL HADN'T REMOVED HER EYES FROM TATANKA. J.R.: "What kind of man is Tatanka?! He just let Jillian Hall be destroyed"! Lawler: "Don't try to insinuate that he's scared, J.R., we saw what happened when he faced Luyu one on one"! J.R.: "Then why didn't he make the tag?! THE MILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION RETREATED AS DIBIASE HELPED JILLIAN UP THE RAMP WHILE TATANKA STARED BACK AT LUYU AND SMITH IN THE RING. Whatever the reason, Luyu and Harry Smith just picked up a very big win"! BACKSTAGE AREA........ THE SHOT IS SENT TO THE BACK, WHERE TODD GRISHAM STANDS WITH MONEY MIKE. Todd Grisham: "Money Mike, tonight you face Max Ogden in the first ever King's Throne match but first, you have some sort of an offer to make"? Money Mike: "Max Ogden, this past week on Rampage you tried to be sneaky and get into the ring with me once againto try and prove something that well, can't be proven and that is you actually
defeating me. Ya see Max, many have
tried and many have failed, you now have failed twice and might I add that takes a tad bit off of how good you truly are. So Stephanie came up with, well sort of a bargain for you, not only to save yourself further embarrassment but to actually save what's left of your career cause you see Ogden, at the King of the Ring I
not only proved that I am the better man, but I proved that Money Mike is the name that people talk about now adays in the TWF. It's not names like Jordan Rockwell or High Octane or Harley Race or any other legend or current superstar I've dropped to their knees! No it's my name, I am the future of the TWF and the future is now! Now since I still have WrestleMania around the corner and well don't have any clue as to who I wanna add to my list, I've decided I need this time to really think who I wanna disgrace and bring before me, so what Stephanie had in mind was to show once again that I, just like the Million Dollar Man can buy just about anybody. Hell I bought Starman and people still to this day thought it was Jason Oliver all along, wrong, the element of surprise showed everyone just why
I was called that and now your King of Kings is doing it again! So here it is Ogden, one hundred thousand dollars of my money, not Steph's or Vince's, my money! That's one hundred thousand to back out on our match
tonight and save yourself some dignity man because let's face it, do you really think facing me tonight and losing for the third time will do anything for your career? It's just gonna make you look even more pathetic than you were before you stepped in my face,
so take the money, Max, hell buy a new gimmick or something I dont know, anything, but just be smart. Think about yourself for once instead of these
idiot fans here tonight, it's all about the right choices we make, Max, that's what
makes you a better man in the long run. So I'm gonna give you a bit to think about this long and hard and when the time is right, I'll be waiting
for your answer. Think about it buddy, this really is the deal of a lifetime". MONEY MIKE WALKS OFF AS THE SHOT GOES OVER TO THE OCTAGON. Goldberg: "The fighthers are already in the Octagon, so let's send it over to Robert Buffer for introductions"! THE CROWD CHEERS AS MATT HUGHES AND SHONIE CARTER ARE SHOWN IN THE OCTAGON, GETTING LOOSE. Robert Buffer: "Ladies and gentlemen..... you are witnessing history in the making. Tonight, for the first time ever, the world of professional wrestling welcomes the fighters from the UFC"! THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERS AS BUFFER HANDS THE MICROPHONE TO UFC PRESIDENT DANA WHITE. Dana White: "Are you guys excited?! THE CROWD CHEERS IN UNISON. I am very proud to be able to do this for you guys tonight. For years, the UFC and TWF have been thought to be enemies, competition to each other, and many other things. So we just wanted to show the world that the two can co-exist and we have a great fight lined up for you guys tonight! So hopefully, this will be the start of something very special"! CARTER RAISES HIS RIGHT FIST AS THE CROWD APPLAUDS. And fighting out of Hillsboro, Illinois, he brings a mixed martial arts record of fourty two wins and only five losses into the Octagon tonight...... give it up for Matt Hughes"! HUGHES RAISES HIS RIGHT ARM AND GETS A MUCH BIGGER CHEER AS THE FIGHTERS COME FACE TO FACE IN THE OCTAGON NEAR REFEREE JOHN McCARTHY. McCARTHY ASKS BOTH MEN IF THEY ARE READY AND THEY NOD THEIR HEADS YES. John McCarthy: "Let's get it on"! UFC Fight scheduled for 3 rounds Shonie Carter vs. Matt Hughes First Round: Hughes and Carter touched gloves and the fight became official. Both men circled the Octagon, looking for their spots. Carter pressed in but Hughes pushed him back and threw a couple right hands. Carter was able to block both shots before throwing a couple kicks that found their mark. Hughes backed up to gain some seperation before coming back in with shots to the body, but he couldn't land a punch to the head of Carter as his defense was superb. Carter knocked Hughes back with another kick to the body but Hughes charged in and took Carter down by the legs. Hughes was in the full mount but he tried to go for an armbar submission and Carter was able to fight it off and nearly got free of the predicament. Hughes regained control and hammered down with 2 hard right hands on Carter, but the bell sounded to stop the round. Second Round: The fighters came out and touched gloves again and both men were thinking of using their feet to gain the upper hand in this round. Carter landed a few kicks to the body before catching Hughes with nasty roundhouse to the head. Hughes fired back with a right-left combo before battering Carter with 3 leg kicks before swinging with a wild right hook that missed everything. This also left Hughes open and Carter grabbed him and took him down. On the way to the mat, Hughes' head smacked into the cage and he was in a lot of trouble. Carter had side control but took it into the full mount against the dazed Hughes before slamming him with some very hard right hands. A stoppage was moments away and that's when the bell sounded to stop the round, probably the only thing that saved Hughes. BOTH FIGHTERS WENT TO THEIR CORNERS, GETTING SOME ADVICE BEFORE COMING OUT FOR THE FINAL ROUND. Third Round: Carter came out aggressively, feeling he had Hughes hurt from the previous round and could get a quick knockout. But trading punches was not what he wanted to do as Hughes fired back with rights and lefts of his own and not even a minute into the final round, Hughes put a straight right hand on the chin of Carter and knocked him to the mat. Hughes got on top about to fire more shots down but McCarthy saw Carter was out and called for a stoppage. King's Throne Match Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Max Ogden w/ Candice Michelle This match started in the ring and Mike was on the ropes early as an angry Ogden threw haymaker after haymaker before kicking him in the gut and catching him with a springboard dropkick. No disqualification rules were in effect and Ogden quickly took advantage, getting a steel chair from outside the ring and bringing it in, smacking Money Mike twice across the back. Mike screamed in agony before rolling out of the ring, trying to catch a breather. But as soon as he got to his feet, Ogden vaulted himself over the top rope, clotheslining the reigning King of the Ring. Ogden let out a yell into the crowd who loudly cheered. Ogden pulled Mike up but Mike used a lowblow before sending Ogden head first into the steel ring steps. Mike reached into the ring and grabbed the steel chair Ogden used earlier, taking a swing with it and luckily for Ogden, he avoided having his head smashed against the ring steps. Ogden then kicked Mike in the back of the legs before leaping to the apron but Mike grabbed him and used a backdrop suplex right on the arena floor. Mike then pulled the protective mat up, exposing the concrete floor before loading Ogden up for a piledriver but Ogden was able to counter it with a backdrop, sending Mike to the floor himself. The crowd loudly popped as Ogden reached under the ring and pulled out a table. He set it up right at the bottom of the entrance ramp before laying Mike on top of it. Ogden then grabbed the steel chair and went to the top rope. Ogden then flew off, placing the chair beneath him and crashing through Mike and the table! A deafening "Holy Shit" chant sounded off but both men were down. Candice came over and helped Ogden to his feet and Ogden made his way over to the platform as Steph tried to help Mike up. Ogden went to one of the ladders and began to climb up but somehow, Mike was up and he came from behind, knocking Ogden off the ladder with a shot to the back using the chair. As Ogden fell under the platform, Mike began to climb the same ladder. Mike was about halfway up when Ogden recovered and rather than chase him, Ogden got a second wind and went up one of the other ladders. Ogden actually beat Mike up and was about to sit in the throne, but Mike got up and kicked the throne, nearly tipping it over. Stephanie and Candice looked on in horror as the men battled 15 feet in the air. Ogden threw a right hand but Mike caught him in position for the "Money Pit". Ogden was able to get away with a knee to the groin and he came at Mike only to be backdropped off the platform right into the sound equipment below! Sparks flew as Ogden landed and the fans couldn't believe it as Mike peered down at Ogden, who was motionless. Mike then sat in the throne to become the victor. Match Time: 12:39 J.R.: "My God! OLIVER WALKS AWAY AS THE SHOT IS SENT BACK INTO THE ARENA, GETTING SHOTS OF SEVERAL FANS WHO ARE ENJOYING A GREAT SHOW. THE CAMERA FOCUSES ON A CORNER OF THE ARENA, WHICH IS ACTUALLY IN THE CROWD, THAT HAS BEEN KEPT DARK ALL NIGHT. JUST THEN, "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI COMES ON AND MOST OF THE CROWD BOOS AS PAUL HEYMAN LEADS JOE COREY, FOLLOWED BY J.J. RAMPLIN, THROUGH THE CROWD. COREY HAS THE ECW WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. J.R.: "Well here we go, this ECW, which has done it's best to seperate itself from the rest of Rampage, is on their way to the ring for tag team action"! Lawler: "I'm very interested to see what these guys can do in this match. Joe Corey was very selective in picking not only Sylvester Terkay, but the man coming to the ring with him, J.J. Ramplin"! THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERS AS "SUPERSTAR" BY SALIVA COMES ON AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT. J.R.: "Well here comes the man who has stepped out to battle this ECW contingent and he was allowed to go out and find any man he could to team up with tonight"! Lawler: "Who's it gonna be"?! THE WORD "REVENGE" APPEARS ON THE TWF TRON IN FLAMES BEFORE "IN MY DARKEST HOUR" BY MEGADEATH COMES ON AND THE LIGHTS GO OUT. A SPOTLIGHT IS SHOWN ON A VERY TALL, SHADOWY FIGURE STANDING ON THE STAGE. J.R.: "How long has it been since we've seen this, King"?! Lawler: "What made Oliver go out and get this guy"?! THE LIGHTS COME BACK ON, REVEALING OLIVER's PARTNER TO BE NEMESIS. THE CROWD WILDLY POPS AT THE SIGHT OF THIS. J.R.: "Nemesis has been part of the SlaughterHouse division for the better part of two years, holding their World title until recently and now, he's come to Code Red to help battle the ECW"! Lawler: "Oliver called him ECW's grim reaper, J.R., and we remember the history he has with Joe Corey, don't we"?! COREY LOOKED LIKE HE'D A GHOST AS OLIVER AND NEMESIS APPROACHED THE RING. HEYMAN WAS WHISPERING SOMETHING IN RAMPLIN's EAR, TRYING TO QUELL THE SITUATION. J.R.: "I know I do, in fact, just before he went over to SlaughterHouse, he and Corey were locked in a bitter rivalry"! Lawler: "Things have changed since then, J.R., but it doesn't look like Nemesis has forgotten, or forgiven"! ECW: "The Show" Joe Corey and J.J. "The Ram" Ramplin w/ Paul Heyman vs. Jason Oliver and Nemesis Oliver and Ramplin started off the match as Corey still seemed a bit shaken. Off a collar and elbow tie, Oliver used a standing switch before using a forearm to the Ramplin's lower back. Ramplin turned and threw a right hand, but Oliver ducked it and drilled him with 2 stiff european uppercuts. He then twisted Ramplin's right arm before making the tag to Nemesis, who came into the ring and kicked Ramplin in the elbow of the twisted arm. Nemesis then shot Ramplin to the corner and pounded him with a clothesline before lifting him by the arms and just tossing him to the mat. After rocking Corey with a soup bone right hand, Nemesis dropped a big leg across the throat of Ramplin before tagging Oliver back in. Oliver continued the onslaught with a flying clothesline off the top rope, covering Oliver for a long 2 count. Heyman could see his team was in trouble and he asked Ramplin to come to the corner for some kind of conference. But Oliver and Nemesis would have none of it, taking it to both men. Nemesis kicked Corey right in the mouth, knocking him to the floor before Oliver clotheslined Ramplin over the top and to the floor. Nemesis and Oliver followed them out and the right was on. Corey was able to get a shot to the abdomen of Nemesis in before ramming him face first into the announce table. He then grabbed him around the waist and drove the small of his back into the barricade surrounding the fans. Meanwhile, Ramplin was able to reverse and irish whip and send Oliver into the steel ring steps before picking him up onto his shoulders and driving him head first into the steel ring post. The brawl outside the ring went on for six or seven minutes and referee Chad Patton easily could've, and probably should've, thrown the match out. But he allowed it to continue and it was the ECW who had gotten themselves back into the match as Corey rolled Oliver into the ring. After a big powerslam by Ramplin, he tagged in Corey who dropped a big knee on Oliver before whipping him to the ropes for a big spinebuster. Corey made the cover, but Oliver was up after a count of 2. Ramplin tagged back into the match and set Oliver up for the "Dead Weight" but Oliver dropped to his knees, tripped him up and locked in the Sharpshooter. Ramplin was trapped in the center of the ring but Corey came in and kicked Oliver in the back of the head. Nemesis tried to come in but Patton stopped him, allowing Corey to come back in, but Oliver flung Corey's arms out and drilled him with a jump kick to the back of the head. Nemesis was waiting for the tag, but Oliver went back to Ramplin who picked him up and dropped him over the top rope with a stun gun. Corey tagged back into the match and picked Oliver up for a side backbreaker. Corey and Ramplin had cut off half of the ring, making Nemesis a non factor. But when Oliver caught Corey out of nowhere with a tornado DDT, that all changed. Nemesis again waited for the tag, but Oliver got up and could feel the adrenaline, grabbing Corey and kicking him in the gut, looking for the "Claymore". But Corey countered it by pushing him away and tagged The Ram back into the match who ran in and drilled Oliver with a clothesline. They again drug Oliver over to their half of the ring, and Corey tagged back in. Corey went to the middle turnbuckle and walked the ring ropes, looking for an elbow drop but he missed when Oliver moved. The crowd was cheering for Oliver to go to his corner and tag in the big man but again, he chose to stay in the ring, putting a rear naked choke on Corey. Corey tried to fight the hold but he was fading fast when Ramplin came in and broke it up. Corey then went for a flying knee but he missed and Oliver finally made the tag. The only problem was Patton never saw it due to being tied up arguing with Ramplin. Nemesis came in but Patton quickly forced him back to his corner and Ramplin snuck in, drilling Oliver in the back with the Ram's Horns. Oliver clearly had the wind knocked out of him and Corey saw an opening, putting him in the inescapable Cage. Oliver did all he could to fight it, making his way over to the ring ropes. Corey broke the hold and pulled him back to the center of the ring, locking the hold in again. Oliver had his hand out, about to tap but he reached down deep and worked his way to the ropes again. For a second time, Corey broke the hold and pulled Oliver back to the center of the ring, locking the Cage in again. Corey yelled as he pulled back with all he had on the hold. Oliver was clearly in a ton of pain as Nemesis tried to come in, but Ramplin ran in and dropkicked him, sending him out of the ring. Heyman was on the outside yelling "What about ECW now, Oliver?! Tap out"! Finally, Oliver had no choice but to do just that, tapping out as the bell sounded. Match Time: 24:18 J.R.: "My God, Jason Oliver fought that hold for over a minute! It took everything Corey had to get him to give up"! Lawler: "But he did, J.R., and maybe he's opened his eyes here! I think the ECW is here to stay"! "MISERIA CANTARE" HIT AGAIN AS HEYMAN CAME IN AND RAISED THE ARMS OF BOTH COREY AND RAMPLIN. COREY THEN HELD THE ECW TITLE UP AS THEY LEFT THE RING. NEMESIS CAME BACK IN AND STOOD IN THE CENTER OF THE RING, LOOKING BACK AT THE GROUP. J.R.: "Jason Oliver found who he thought was the right partner tonight, it just didn't happen for them". Lawler: "So much for Nemesis being ECW's grim reaper! I'd say ECW is more the grim reaper for the careers of anyone who gets in their way"! BACKSTAGE......... CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW TED DIBIASE WITH A FISTFUL OF MONEY STANDING WITH CHUCK LIDDELL, WHO IS WEARING THE OFFICIAL CODE RED T-SHIRT. Ted Dibiase: "So what do ya say, my corporation could really use an enforcer like you". Chuck Liddell: "I don't care how much money you have..... you can't buy me". Travis Wakeman: "Oh yeah, I'm ready". "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN COMES ON AND THE CROWD's CHEERS GET EVEN LOUDER AS TRAVIS WAKEMAN STEPS OUT WITH THE WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. J.R.: "Talk about stepping into the unknown, not only does this man not know who Randy Orton's partner is tonight, he doesn't know who he'll be defending the World title against at WrestleMania"! Lawler: "But we heard what he said earlier, J.R., and even though it could be anyone, Wakeman doesn't seem phased by it"! Randy Orton and Mark Henry vs. Travis Wakeman and John Cena Wakeman came into the ring, yelling for Henry to get in with him. Henry came in and Wakeman ran at him like a wild dog, throwing several shots at the big man before hitting the ropes and drilling him with a clothesline. The shot rocked Henry so Wakeman tried it again but this time, Henry smashed him with a clothesline of his own. He then picked Wakeman up and pushed him into the corner before using his body to suffocate him. Henry got a 5 count to break the hold and he did before just whalloping Wakeman across the back with a clubbing forearm. Henry then picked Wakeman up and whipped him to the ropes before lifting him up in a bear hug. Wakeman was in a lot of trouble and his energy was quickly being sapped as Henry squeezed with all his might. Wakeman began to fade away and referee Jim Korderas moved in to check the arms. He dropped Wakeman's arm one time, but on the second attempt, Wakeman held his arm up and then used 2 ear claps to break free. Tags were made on both sides and Orton got into the ring, opposite Cena. The crowd came to their feet in recognition of what they will say at WrestleMania 8. The two men locked up and Orton whipped Cena to the ropes, only to have Cena explode off with a flying shoulder tackle. Cena then picked Orton up and delivered his spinning sideslam before pointing to the ropes and calling for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena bounced off the ropes but Henry dug a knee into his back, allowing Orton to get up and catch him with a pretty dropkick, right on the money. Orton then got down and used his right hand to choke Cena, almost getting disqualified. Orton slapped the hand of Henry to bring him back into the match. Henry dropped a big elbow on the chest of Cena before making the cover but he could only get a 2 count. Henry pulled Cena up and whipped him to the ropes, catching him with an incredible powerslam. Henry yelled "That's it"! but Orton wanted to finish Cena off. Henry made the tag and Orton went straight to the top rope. When Cena got up, he flew off with a crossbody block but Cena took him out with a nice dropkick right in the chest. Cena was able to make it to his corner and get the tag to the World champion and Wakeman came in with his sights set on Orton. Henry came in, trying to interfere but Cena came back in and kicked him in the midsection. He and Wakeman then combined for a double suplex that shook the ring! Orton then got up but Cena lifted him onto his shoulders for the "F-U". Orton raked the eyes of Cena to get free and went for the "RKO" but Cena countered, pushing Orton into the waiting arms of Wakeman who lifted him up and drove him into the mat with the "Royal Flush" to get the 1.........2..........3! Match Time: 7:58 J.R.: "That's it! We have just witnessed history as the World champion has pinned the Universal champion"! Lawler: "Cena and Wakeman have overcome the odds, J.R., what a performance"! AS "MAKE WAY" PLAYED, CENA WENT OUT AND GOT THE WORLD TITLE, BRINGING IT IN TO WAKEMAN. HE HANDED HIM THE TITLE AND THEN LEFT, GIVING THE RING TO WAKEMAN. J.R.: "Now that's class, what a move by Cena, letting Wakeman enjoy the moment". So, have you been able to figure out what the picture and the old building meant"? WAKEMAN JUST LOOKS ON BUT A COMMOTION IS HEARD FROM THE CROWD AND SUDDENLY, MONEY MIKE APPEARS BEHIND WAKEMAN. WAKEMAN TURNS AND IS HIT BY THE "MONEY PIT"! MONEY MIKE JUST STANDS OVER WAKEMAN, LOOKING DOWN AT HIM AS STEPH LAUGHS. J.R.: "My God.... what the hell is this"?!
