Major Trade rocks TWF's foundation

October 12, 2006

Rumors of a big trade swirled around the TWF following TWF Eruption, a huge Pay-Per-View event highlighted by Randy Orton wrestling the Universal title away from Batista.

Just days after that upset, Batista got the news he had been traded to Rampage.

"I was somehwhat shocked. Now I know what those athletes feel like when they get shipped to a new team, because PrimeTime was home. But don't worry, I'll make some noise soon on Rampage".

The news of the trade hit all 3 brands, as SlaughterHouse picked up 3 TWF veterans in Victoria, Rob Conway and the former Intercontinental and Universal champion, Christian. SlaughterHouse GM Jesse Steele was quoted as saying the following.

"We'll take it, anything to make SlaughterHouse as recognized as Rampage and PrimeTime".

Although PrimeTime lost perhaps it's biggest superstar, they received a man that they can shape the entire division around in John Cena.

"I've been on PrimeTime before and they got some tough cats, Jordan Rockwell, Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton are over there, so I'm looking forward to it".

Former Horseman member Carney is also going back to the division where he had his most success, PrimeTime, looking to rejuvenate his career".

"After the whole Horsemen experience, I'm just ready to start fresh and there's no better place than PrimeTime".

Also moving back to the show they came from is Taylor Made, a one time Rampage superstar who has spent the better part of the last 2 years on PrimeTime. But after big matches with Axl Irvin and Chris Masters, Taylor told this reporter that he's ready to come back.

After just splitting up with his partner Joey Mercury, Johnny Nitro has been sent to PrimeTime, looking to make a name for himself in the singles ranks. And after defeating Mercury on the most recent edition of Rampage, Nitro has needed momentum.

Perhaps the two men who will benefit from this move the most will be Finlay and Mr. Kennedy, who will be swapping shows. Finlay, who we know loves to fight, should get plenty of new competition on PrimeTime with the likes of Lashley, Johnny Hazard and Taz. But Kennedy, who I spoke with earlier today, had perhaps the most poignant remarks.

"Did you see the way they handled me on PrimeTime? I wasn't given the chance to show what I can do, to make my mark! So if Mick Foley knows anything and he wants Rampage to succeed, he'll make Mr. Kennedy the face of his show! That's Mr. Kennedy....... Kennedy".

Finally, two women who know who to get it done in the ring will get a change of scenery as Trinity, arguably the most successful female superstar in the short history of SlaughterHouse, will be going to Rampage who in turn give up 2 time Women's champion Victoria.

One thing is for sure, this trade, possibly the biggest in TWF history, is sure to rock the TWF at it's core. Make sure you tune in to Rampage, PrimeTime and SlaughterHouse to see these superstars and how they do in their new positions. Any bets on who has the most success?
