FIRST OFF, LET ME TAKE THIS TIME TO REMEMBER ALL THE VICTIMS OF THE HORRIBLE TRAGEDIES OF 9/11/01, EXACTLY TWO YEARS AGO TODAY. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
IN THIS EDITION OF THE CORNER, YOU WILL GET TO KNOW A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT SOME OF PRIMETIME's NEWEST STARS AND IF YOU ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH OUR DEVELOPMENTAL TERRITORIES, WE SUM UP THE HAPPENINGS IN EACH. PLUS, THE UNDERTAKER WAS A GUEST ON THE TONIGHT SHOW AND IF YOU MISSED IT, HERE YA GO:
Jay Leno: "My first guest is a legend in the sport of pro wrestling and a few days ago, he became a six time TWF world champion! Please welcome The Undertaker"!
(The audience claps as The Undertaker comes out and shakes hands with Jay and sits.)
Leno: "Thank you for joining us tonight".
Undertaker: "Thanks for having me".
Leno: "Now as I said you recently became the TWF world champion for a sixth time which I understand is a record. Is it as satisfying as your first reign as champion"?
Undertaker: "Absolutely. When you get into the business, you aim to be the champion and that's a fact, so for me, every title reign is meaningful".
Leno: "Now I was watching the show the other night and for the past few weeks, whats the deal with this Nemesis guy"?
Undertaker: "Aaah, he's just one of those confused young guys with tons of potential that have lost their way and is a bit lost up stairs, if you know what I mean".
Leno: "How so"?
Undertaker: "Well he wears paint to cover up scars that no one other then him knows if he has or not and he's been in this big career downslide because he's feeling sorry for himself. I've told him he doesn't need the paint but he's being to reliant on it. I'll knock the habit Jay".
Leno: "Now I know recently you and your wife had a baby, hows the baby and mother doing"?
Undertaker: "They are both fine".
Leno: "So does having a baby make you think different about wrestling"?
Undertaker: "To a point. I mean, I can't change the way I do things or it would hinder the Undertaker character. But I try to at least tone it down a bit".
Leno: "How long do you think you'll wrestle"?
Undertaker: "Either till I decide to stop or till my body tells me to".
Leno: "As I said, you are considered to be a legend in wrestling, is it a good feeling for you being as respected as you are"?
Undertaker: "Honestly, I've worked long and hard in my career and it's a good feeling to know that all my hard work is appreciated".
Leno: "Well I wanna thank The Undertaker for stopping by and good luck in the future".
Undertaker: "Thank you Jay".
Leno: "The Undertaker ladies and gentlemen! We'll be right back after this commercial break with Salma Hayek"!

Chris Daniels was originally slated to play Vampiro's dark master in WCW but the angle was scrapped.
Chris wrestled Mike Modest on Nitro in a try-out match and nearly broke his neck landing on the top of his head. Given the name "The Fallen Angel" by his peers, Chris has long been considered one of the best pound for pound wrestlers in the world.
This orginization is once again under new management, and once again, it needs major help. With it's best talent disappearing, they need a step up man and 4 men need to rise to the challenge. Damien Steele, a former tag team champion came oh so close against Frankie Kazarian and has proven himself to be a great singles wrestler. Al Snow has done a great job of motivating him and he needs to raise it another bar. The Patriot, 2003 Royal Rumble participant has definitely shown he can be successful, but he needs to start being dynamic like he was when he was battling Keiji Sakoda. His lack of mic skills will keep him back. Shannon Moore is the current SMW champ and has already stepped it up. But with his war with Daniels at an end with Daniels in the TWF, all he can do is wait. He has all the goods, accept for a slot opening. Lastly is Spencer Hollywood, having been in SMW since its grand opening, he has had a one day stint in the TWF already. He has definitely picked it up wrestling wise and once he develops his character, he should be a shoe in for PT. Also with a whole new pack of talent, this orginization will endure the hard times and if they find some tape time, they will get back on track soon.
MFW REPORT
At least SMW is in the same boat as mFw, they don’t get enough tape time. As the roster quickly decreases, the wrestlers will get more action. They have impact players in Shark Boy, Sonny Siaki, and Redd Dog. And their women are definitely doing a number, Britney Haven recently got some T.V. time and she definitely looks to do battle with the best. Mark Jindrak has finally found his nitch. And the insane luchadore combined with the Juice is very fun to watch. With so much talent, the only place this orginization can go is up, ownership is all that is left to stand up.
TURN BACK THE TWF CLOCK IT'S TIME ONCE AGAIN FOR OUR FAVORITE SEGMENT AND WITH TWF ERUPTION AROUND THE CORNER FOR THE PRIMETIME DIVISION, WE'RE GONNA GO BACK TO MAY 2000 TO THE ORIGINAL TWF ERUPTION PPV, BEFORE THE COMPANY CAME ONLINE. NOW THE MAIN EVENT OF THIS PPV, THE 12 MAN ERUPTION MATCH FOR THE TWF TITLE, HAS BEEN PREVIEWED BEFORE SO TONIGHT, WE'RE GONNA FOCUS ON THE UNDERCARD. TWF ERUPTION WAS ONE OF THE BLOODIEST PPV's ON RECORD AND COINCIDENTALLY, IT GOT STARTED WITH A BLOODBATH MATCH BETWEEN A COUPLE OF FORMER RUNNING MATES, GANGREL AND EDGE. THE OBJECT HERE WAS TO GRAB A BUCKET OF "BLOOD" AND COVER YOUR OPPONENT WITH IT. GANGREL WAS ABLE TO PULL THE HUGE UPSET AFTER IT WAS REVEALED THAT HE USED BRASS KNUCKS. NEXT UP WAS A BATTLE OF A MAN AND HIS FORMER "MAMACITA". BILLED THE BATTLE OF THE SEXES, EDDIE GUERRERO AND CHYNA HAD AN EXCELLENT MATCH. CHYNA GAVE AN EXCELLENT EFFORT BUT EDDIE PULLED OUT THE VICTORY. THE ACOLYTES DEFEATED THE TEAM OF "CORRECTIONS OFFICERS", BULL BUCHANAN AND THE BOSS MAN IN A BATTLE OF 2 OF THE TWF's MOST PHYSICAL TEAMS. AFTER WINNING THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF JAPAN AT TWF VS. mFw WARFARE, ADAM BOMB WAS THRUST INTO A MATCH WITH MONEY, INC. MEMBER MARK HENRY. BUT IN A HARD HITTING BATTLE, ADAM BOMB DEFEATED THE WORLD's STRONGEST MAN WITH A PUMP HANDLE SLAM. IN THE WEEKS LEADING UP TO TWF ERUPTION, KEN SHAMROCK CLAIMED HE WAS THE TOUGHEST TWF SUPERSTAR. TAZZ, WHO GREW UP ON THE STREETS FIGHTING HIS WHOLE LIFE, TOOK THOSE COMMENTS TO HEART AND ISSUED THE CHALLENGE. BUT HE WAS NO MATCH FOR SHAMROCK WHO SLAPPED ON THE ANKLE LOCK AND MADE HIM TAP OUT, SOMETHING MANY THOUGHT WOULD NOT HAPPEN. BEFORE THE HEADBANGERS SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED THE TAG TEAM TITLES AGAINST THE COMBINATION OF DEAN MALENKO AND PERRY SATURN, ONE OF THE MOST HIGHLY ANTICIPATED MATCHES ON THE CARD TOOK PLACE WHEN CHRIS JERICHO MET THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN TED DIABIASE. SAYING HE COULD PERFORM LIKE HE ONCE DID, DIABIASE WAS OUT FOR REVENGE AGAINST Y2J WHO NOT ONLY TURNED DOWN AN OFFER TO JOIN MONEY, INC., BUT HAD MADE DISPARRAGING COMMENTS FOR WEEKS. DIABIASE CAME UP A LITTLE SHORT HOWEVER, COURTESY OF THE "WALLS OF JERICHO". IN THE ERUPTION MATCH QUALIFIER OF THE NIGHT, THE BIG RED MACHINE KANE FOUGHT OFF INTERFERENCE BY THE BIG SHOW TO OVERCOME DIESEL IN A FIRST BLOOD MATCH, TOMBSTONING HIM ON A STEEL CHAIR TO SPLIT HIM OPEN. BUT AFTER 20+ MINUTES OF HELL, IT DIDN'T SEEM KANE HAD MUCH LEFT IN THE TANK FOR THE ERUPTION MATCH. IN A MATCH HE STILL CAN'T LIVE DOWN, KURT ANGLE WAS DEFEATED BY L.A. LAKERS STAR SHAQUILLE O'NEAL IN WHAT MANY INSIDERS CONSIDER THE BIGGEST UPSET IN WRESTLING HISTORY.
STATE OF THE TWF
I have been presented the opportunity to share the state of the TWF with all the fellow members. Being here half as long as most members, I worked hard at studying the entire fed from it’s beginning. The state of the TWF is not just what is going on now, it’s how we’ve gotten through the past and I’m sorry if you get bored reading this, but I am talking about my home, the TWF.
Owner, Travis Wakeman started this fed nearly 4 years ago, before the turn of the century. For months he started the TWF at home, working matches for no other audiences and only for his enjoyment. When he finally did open up the TWF online, he waited three months before his first and most everlasting member; Kid Gundam/Yuji Matasamo, who came forth and signed with the upstart fed. Neither two could realize what they actually were about to go through, a revolution in Sports entertainment.
Taking wrestlers from WCW, WWF, NGPW and indy wrestlers, he started the company with little knowledge of what was to become of the TWF. He didn’t even know what TWF stood for and he still doesn’t! That’s right, it goes to show, it’s not about the having a cool name, it’s about the owner and the loyalty of all the TWF members.
We have endured times of frustration when members would come and go, not caring at all for the TWF. We experienced an entire conspiracy with the Confederation, or the irresponsible members like Maddogg. No matter what, we stayed together, even when WCW2 tried to invade, or when the GWF declared war on the TWF, we stood by her and defended her with our lives. Things are much more peaceful than they once were, but make no mistake, the TWF is looking for a fight, now who wants it!?
After three and a half years of dominance on the net, the TWF still runs strong. We will not die from lack of participation, we will certainly not die from bad ownership, and we will take out the garbage any day of the week. We will do more than survive each day, we will win it.
Now onto the current stage of the TWF, we still rock. The TWF has been a perpetual machine that keeps going and going. With incoming talents from SMW and mFw constantly flowing in, and members still signing, the TWF can do no wrong. Things are as they should be. And I know that when the TWF is in the right, I feel good about myself.
A special thanks is in order for a lot of people. For the handler of Drew Blood for doing SMW for what seemed like forever. For Joe Diano constantly working and pitching in. For all the long-term members as Strife, Bahumut, Nails, Nemesis and Carney. And thanks to Travis Wakeman, for four years of drive to not only please himself, but us as well, thanks for the great times and let them keep on going.
(Side note: I hope you guys don't think I’ve been a suck up for most of the time I have been here, but if you watch the stuff me and Travis talk about offline and how much we don’t agree on stuff, you wouldn’t think that. I did this because Travis presented me with the honor of it. If “older” members feel insulted they were not chosen, I’m sorry. Thanks for taking the time to read it, I slaved over this thing a while, it got deleted twice. IT’S NOT FUNNY JOE.)
Garrett Sandeen, 15, handler of Shane Thompson.
