THE ANNOYING SOUND OF BLARING SIRENS IS HEARD LOUDLY..... THE SCREEN IS SHAKING AND A RED HAZE HAS FALLEN OVER EVERYTHING. THE SHOT FROM THE CAMERA IS ONE OF SOMEONE RUNNING, COMING UPON A SCENE OF DEVASTATION. TERROR FILLED SCREAMS ARE HEARD, SMALL FIRES ARE BURNING AND CHAOS HAS SET IN. NO ONE CAN BE SEEN..... ONLY HEARD. FINALLY, A CREW OF PARAMEDICS LOADS A GURNEY INTO AN AMBULANCE. IT IS CLEAR A BODY IS ON THE GURNEY, A WHITE SHEET COVERING IT. THE BACK DOORS TO THE AMBULANCE CLOSE AND THE VEHICLE DRIVES THROUGH THE CRAZY SCENE WITH IT's LIGHTS FLASHING. THE SCENE SWITCHES TO A HECTIC HOSPITAL WHERE SOMEONE IS PUSHING THE GURNEY THROUGH A TIGHT CORRIDOR AS PEOPLE DO THEIR BEST TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. SUDDENLY, A VOICE IS HEARD..... "STOP"! YELLS THE VOICE. THE GURNEY STARTS MOVING AND SLOWLY, A PALE HAND STARTS TO PEEL THE WHITE SHEET DOWN. SHOCKINGLY, THE ARCH NEMESIS OF BATMAN IS ON THE GURNEY. The Joker: "Why don't you give me a call when you want to start taking things a little more seriously? Here's my card.......... THE JOKER TAKES A CARD AND TURNS IT OVER, FACING IT TOWARDS THE CAMERA. IT SHOWS THE TWF CODE RED LOGO ON IT BEFORE THE SCENE CUTS OUT. Audio Voiceover: "And now, TWF Entertainment presents.......................
ALLSTATE ARENA COMES ONTO THE CAMERA AND THERE ARE FANS EVERYWHERE READY FOR THE NIGHT TO BEGIN. EXTRA SEATS HAD TO BE MADE AVAILABLE AS THE DEMAND FOR THIS EVENT WAS VERY HIGH. THE WRESTLEMANIA 12 BANNER WAS SHOWN HANGING FROM THE RAFTERS BEFORE THE CAMERAS FOCUSED ON A FAN HOLDING A SIGN WITH A WONDERFUL DRAWING OF "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN THAT READ "AUSTIN 3:16 SAYS IT's TIME TO OPEN UP A CAN ON THE EMPIRE"! ALL THE WHILE, RED LIGHTS FLASHED ACROSS THE ARENA AS SIRENS RANG OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS. AFTER A BRIEF PAUSE, STING's "CROW" THEME BEGINS TO PLAY AND THE ANTICIPATION IN THE BUILDING BEGINS TO BUILD. STING APPEARS IN THE ENTRANCE AS A DARK SHADOWY FIGURE AND THE CHEERS BEGIN TO RISE. Jim Ross: "It is TWF Code Red and tonight is a very special night as this is the Wild Card event of the TWF"! Jerry Lawler: "I don't know if a TWF event has ever started out like this, J.R., first the Joker and now this guy!" J.R.: "We have eight titles to be decided in that ring tonight but this.... I'm not sure about this". THE CAMERA PANS OVER TO THE BROADCAST POSITION TO SHOW SCOTT HUDSON AND MICHAEL COLE. Scott Hudson: "Sting is of course a member of the PrimeTime division and we don't even know what's going on". Michael Cole: "Do you ever know what's going on? I mean, come on, let's be honest..... you're one of the most clueless guys I know"! Hudson: "Okay Michael, explain to all our viewers what is happening here". WITH THAT, THE SOUND OF BREAKING GLASS IS HEARD AND OUT COMES "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN TO AN AMAZING POP. AUSTIN IS WEARING HIS FAMOUS "SMOKING SKULL" T-SHIRT AND HE IS HEADING TO THE RING WITH A PURPOSE. Cole: "Well I'd venture to guess that business is about to pick up.... right, J.R.?! God what a joke"! J.R.: "Business damn sure is about to pick up as Steve Austin, the Texas Rattlesnake and the new President of the Board of Directors has hit the ring here in Chicago"! Cole: "Can you believe Vince McMahon actually put this guy in this position"?! A CHANT OF "STING AND AUSTIN" LOUDLY BREAKS OUT AS STONE COLD PEERS ACROSS THE RING AT THE COLD, EMOTIONLESS, PAINTED FACE OF THE STINGER. Steve Austin: "If everyone is ready to have a good time tonight, gimme a hell yeah! "HELL YEAH" IS HEARD FROM THE CROWD AT ONCE. I said gimme a hell yeah"! THE FANS SPEAK THE WORDS AGAIN, TWICE AS LOUD. Steve Austin: "That's what I like to hear. No I bet you're all wondering exactly how this night is gonna work. Well first, every single title we have here in the TWF will be defended here tonight! A LOUD POP FOLLOWS But first, I thought I throw an extra surprise into a night already full of them. So we got this guy, the man they call Sting, without a doubt one of the greatest wrestlers of our time! A LOUD CHEER FOLLOWS And I know you guys want to see one of the biggest acquisitions the TWF has ever made in action..... am I right? ANOTHER CHEER IS HEARD, ACKNOWLEDGING WHAT AUSTIN SAID. So here we go..... you ready, Sting? We've got a random opponent for you, ready to get in this ring and take you on..... send him out"! STING TAKES OFF HIS LONG TRENCH COAT AS "CAN'T BE TOUCHED" BY ROY JONES COMES ON AND CJ LETHAL COMES OUT FOLLOWED BY JAKE ROBERTS. LETHAL HAS A SERIOUS LOOK IN HIS EYES AS STING LOOKS ON. J.R.: "So CJ Lethal of Rampage is gonna take on Sting in the first wild card match of the night and I gotta say, this could be a huge challenge for Sting"! Lawler: "And you know that Jake Roberts told him that.... CJ Lethal could launch his career forever here in Chicago"! Hudson: "Steve Austin referred to Sting as one of the biggest acquisitions in TWF history but this will be his first official singles match". Cole: "And if Lethal wins, we could forever label Sting as a major bust! Even though it would be at the hands of a guy from Rampage, I'd love to see it"! Sting vs. CJ Lethal w/ Jake Roberts What better way to make your Pay-Per-View debut than to face the Icon known as Sting? After the bell sounded, Sting measured the massive man, surveying him with his eyes. But Lethal moved in with a right hand, rocking Sting. He then pushed him against the ropes and shot him to the other side. Sting ducked a clothesline and followed up with some quick right hands and a kick to the gut. Sting then hit the ropes himself but Lethal recovered with a big boot to the face. After a huge elbow drop, Lethal looked out to Jake the Snake for direction. Roberts said "put him away" and Lethal got him up for a big sidewalk slam. For whatever reason, he didn't make the cover. Instead he pulled Sting to his feet and shot him to the corner. He charged in elbow first but Sting moved out of the way. Quickly, Sting struck with punches to the head and body before backing up. Many of the fans knew what was coming, cheering as he went to the opposite corner before flying across the ring, exploding into Lethal with the Stinger Splash. Sting cupped his hands around his mouth and let out a "Woooooooo", to which the crowd mimicked. Sting took a long stare at Roberts before waiting for Lethal to get up. When he did, he grabbed him from behind and then dropped the big man with the "Scorpion Deathdrop". Sting covered Lethal with a lateral press to get the 1................2..............3. Match Time: 5:29 Hudson: "The Scorpion Deathdrop be fells CJ Lethal and what a way to start Code Red"! J.R.: "Pretty apropos if you ask me, Scott. Sting came to the TWF as somewhat of a wild card and man, he looks as good as ever". Lawler: "Well I know you guys are caught up in the performance of Sting, but take a look at this". JAKE ROBERTS HAD SLID INTO THE RING, HIS EYES FIXED ON STING. THE CROWD WAS BUZZING AS THE TWO LEGENDS CIRCLED THE RING. J.R.: "There is a long standing history between these two men..... what does Roberts have in mind"? JUST THEN, ROBERTS MOVED IN AND GRABBED LETHAL, DRIVING HIM INTO THE MAT WITH A VICIOUS DDT WHICH GOT A HUGE CHEER! Cole: "What the hell was that for"?! Lawler: "Wow.... didn't see that coming"! FOLLOWING THE DDT, ROBERTS EXITED THE RING AS STING LOOKED ON. Hudson: "But you have to wonder, is this Jake Roberts' way of stealing Sting's thunder or kicking CJ Lethal to the curb"? Cole: "Or both.......... STING's THEME BEGINS TO PLAY AGAIN AS JAKE ROBERTS HEADS UP THE RAMP. STING THEN RAISES HIS RIGHT ARM IN VICTORY, FINALLY. J.R.: "Well a very auspicious start to Code Red here in Chicago.... I have a real feeling about this night, guys"!
BACKSTAGE AREA......... THE EMPIRE SUITE...... TRAVIS WAKEMAN AND TRISH STRATUS APPEAR TO HAVE JUST ARRIVED AT THE ARENA AND ARE LAUGHING TOGETHER AS THEY HEAD FOR THEIR "PERSONAL SUITE". WAKEMAN PUSHES OPEN THE DOOR AND ALLOWS TRISH TO GO IN FIRST. TRISH QUICKLY BECOMES STARTLED. THE CAMERA SHOT ENTERS THE ROOM AND SHOWS JORDAN ROCKWELL WITH HIS FEET UP ON A COFFEE TABLE.
Travis Wakeman: "Do you mind..... don't you have a match to get ready for"?
Jordan Rockwell: "In time, yes, but first things first".
Travis Wakeman: "Well then by all means, please tell me what I can do for you. I mean, maybe we should roll out the red carpet, honey".
Jordan Rockwell: "I came to chat with you, Travis".
Trish Stratus: "That's it, I'll call security".
TRISH TURNS TO LEAVE BUT WAKEMAN GRABS HER ARM TO STOP HER.
Travis Wakeman: "Hold on, I wanna hear this".
Jordan Rockwell: "Now that's mighty kind of ya, T-Dubya".
Travis Wakeman: "Just spit it out okay.... we've got room service on it's way".
Jordan Rockwell: "My bad..... Basically I was wondering, do you know what happens
when you pull off the first layer of bricks from the bottom on a
house"?
Travis Wakeman: "Obviously everything comes crashing down, let me guess.... that's an analogy for The Empire"?
Jordan Rockwell: "Nnnnnnnoooo! I was just curious if you knew that or not.......
Rockwell smirks and Trish is clearly getting annoyed but Wakeman
isn't phased at all.
Jordab Rockwell: "Seriously though, I have to admit, I'm suprised you've allowed
this thing to go as far as it has. I mean you set them up and I knock
them down, like I mean seriously, I know the saying is glutton for
punishment, but this is getting out of hand now".
Travis Wakeman: "Maybe you should just quit then. But that's not your style is
it? I never expected it to be".
Jordan Rockwell: "Uhhhhhh yup! Funny thing is I really do enjoy this private
time we spend together just you and me, it makes me feel special.... then
again my momma says I've been special since birth. Anyways I'm glad about
tonight cause I get to go up close and personal with .......... I'm
drawing a blank here..... help me out".
Trish Stratus: "Joe Corey"!
Jordan Rockwell: "Oh yeah, that's it. Well I mean I'm sure you gotta
masterfully creative plan to help Corey screw me, even though I've heard
stories about Corey so that's kind of a scary thought. Maybe I'll wear
a chastity belt. But I digress....... I don't count on winning, I just count
on beating the ever loving fruit loops out of your champion".
Travis Wakeman: "You finished"?
Jordan Rockwell: "Suuuuure..... I better get, you gotta company to run into the
ground, errrr I mean to run".
Rockwell goes to get up but stops and looks at his surroundings.
Trish Stratus: "Don't you dare........
Rockwell smirks and kicks the table over as everything hits the ground
and some things break. Wakeman stands there looking at what just
happened.
Jordan Rockwell: "Whoops! God they don't make cheap pieces of crap like they
used to anymore.
Rockwell walks up to Wakeman and pats him on the back.
Great talk boss, I feel motivated! Oh and it's been a real box of crabs
as always, Trish.
Rockwell walks to the door but stops and turns......
Speaking of which, tell Stephanie I said hi".
ROCKWELL LEAVES BUT WAKEMAN IS SURPRISINGLY CALM. TRISH LOOKS UP AT HIM AS THE SHOT GOES TO ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA.
BACKSTAGE...... DRESSING ROOM AREA........ CAMERAS CATCH A VOLUPTUOUS BLONDE WOMAN WEARING TIGHT JEANS AND A PINK TOP KNOCKING ON A DRESSING ROOM DOOR. MOMENTS LATER, THE DOOR OPENS AND SEBASTIAN CAIN IS THERE WEARING A PAIR OF LOOSE FITTING JEANS, NO SHIRT AND HIS KING OF THE RING CROWN ON HIS HEAD. THE TWO EXCHANGE SMILES BEFORE CAIN GRABS THE WOMAN's HAND AND ALLOWS HER INTO HIS ROOM. BACK TO THE RING AND VELVET SKY's MUSIC HITS. SHE IS LARGELY BOOED AS SHE MAKES HER WAY OUT BUT THERE ARE SOME CHEERS AND WHISTLES COMING FROM THE MALE PORTION OF THE CROWD. Hudson: "Eight titles will be defended tonight at Code Red and this will be our first. We already know the stipulation for this one as well and things are sure to get interesting, Michael". Cole: "I just want to know what I need to do to get Caleb Weber's gig. I mean, take a look at Velvet...... wow! VELVET SKY GETS TO THE APRON BEFORE DOING HER SIGNATURE RING ENTRANCE, POINTING THE CAMERAMAN TO HER BEST "ASSET". Take a look at that, Hudson and tell me that doesn't get your juices flowing"! VELVET TAKES A LOOK AT CALEB WEBER WHO IS IN THE RING WITH A REFEREE SHIRT ON. SHE GIVES HIM A SINCERE SMILE. Hudson: "Velvet is a good looking woman, there's no doubting that". Cole: "Yeah.... the latest from the understatement of the year department". THE FANS POP WHEN EVE TORRES' MUSIC PLAYS. SHE COMES OUT WITH THE FEMME FATALE TITLE AROUND HER WAIST AND HEADS TO THE RING RUNNING. Hudson: "Eve looks ready to go and to me, the key to this match is going to be whether Eve can keep her emotions in check. I mean, Velvet has made no secret that she is interested in Eve's boyfriend Caleb and for The Empire to put him in this match as the referee is......... Cole: "Is what? I mean, c'mon..... all this fool Weber had to do was drop Eve for Velvet and he wouldn't have this problem! That's what I would've done"! Hudson: "Like you have women just throwing themselves at you.......... TWF Femme Fatale Title Match Challenger: Velvet Sky vs. Eve Torres *** Special Referee: Caleb Weber Before the match, Velvet insisted that Weber go and check Eve for anything hidden. Weber seemed hesitant and almost worried about informing Eve, but Eve gladly put her boots up on the ropes for Caleb to check them. He decided everything was kosher and he asked for the bell to make things official. Eve came out of the corner and the two women locked up. With ease, Eve threw Velvet over her body with a headlock takedown and held her on the mat. Velvet came up with a headscissor but Eve escaped and got back to her feet. She allowed Velvet up and came at her again but Velvet retreated and ducked her head through the ring ropes, forcing Weber to step in. Weber asked Velvet to get back in the ring and when he did, Eve popped her with a right forearm. She then whipped her to the ropes, lashing her midsection with a kick before hitting the ropes and dropping Velvet with a discus clothesline. It looked like she may have the win as she made the cover but the challenger kicked out at 2 on what was a fair count from Weber. Eve pulled Velvet to her feet and pushed her into the corner but again, Velvet stuck her head in between the top and middle ring ropes to get a break. After making Eve take a few steps back, Weber moved in and Velvet complained about having her hair pulled and yelled "Give her a warning"! When Weber turned to Eve, Velvet reached into the front of her tights and clearly pulled out a pair of brass knucks, which she placed on her right hand. Eve moved in and Velvet dropped to her knees, punching her in the abdomen. Eve doubled over and fell to her knees in extreme pain as Velvet was able to roll over, concealing herself as she put the knucks back despite many ringside fans trying to alert Weber as to what had happened. Now in full control, Velvet got up and got behind Eve as she struggled to her feet. Velvet then grabbed a handful of hair and delivered a nasty jumping bulldog, planting Eve face first into the mat. From there, she pulled the champion up and cinched in a front facelock, leading to a well executed DDT. Velvet rolled Eve over and covered her, hooking the inside leg as Weber got down to count the 3! Match Time: 5:52 Cole: "Look at this...... we've got a new champion"! Hudson: "An undetected foreign object, which was brass knuckles if I'm not mistaken, has led to Velvet Sky stealing.... yes I said stealing.... the title". VELVET's MUSIC PLAYED AND SHE JUMPED UP AND DOWN LIKE A KID AT CHRISTMAS AS WEBER RELUCTANTLY HANDED HER THE BELT. Cole: "How do you know it was undetected?! Maybe this is all an act..... maybe Weber really does like Velvet more than Eve"! VELVET JUMPED INTO WEBER's ARMS AND HE CAUGHT HER BUT QUICKLY PUT HER DOWN. VELVET LOOKED A LITTLE UPSET BY THAT AND LEFT THE RING AS WEBER GOT DOWN TO CHECK ON A VISIBLY UPSET EVE. Hudson: "I don't buy that scenario for a minute. Caleb was put in a bad position tonight and I think he did his best. But his best has led to Velvet Sky becoming the Femme Fatale champion". BACKSTAGE....... CHRIS TIRPAK, WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE OVER HIS RIGHT SHOULDER, IS SHOWN WALKING THROUGH THE BACK WHEN HE COMES UP TO A TABLE WITH STACKS OF PLAYING CARDS ALL OVER IT. A VERY LOVELY WOMAN WITH DARK FLOWING HAIR AND SOME HIGHLIGHTS IS SEATED THERE. HER FACE IS COVERED BY A BLACK VEIL Woman: "Pick a card..... any card". Chris Tirpak: "Okay, but tell me, what exactly is on these cards"? Woman: "For you...... the faces of your possible opponents. Go ahead, grab one". THE WOMAN FANS OUT A BUNCH OF CARDS. THE BACK OF THE CARDS SHOW THE CODE RED LOGO. TIRPAK LEANS IN AND PICKS ONE OUT OF HER HAND AND THEN FLIPS IT OVER TO REVEAL IT TO HIMSELF. Chris Tirpak: "Heh... what are the odds"? "FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS" STARTS UP WITH IT's AMAZING INSTRUMENTAL. THE FANS CHEER WHEN CHRIS TIRPAK EMERGES FROM THE BACK WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER. J.R. "The King of Cable title is about to be put on the line here by one of the toughest individuals we've ever seen here in the TWF". Lawler: "Chris Tirpak has selected his opponent and we are just moments away from finding out who it is"! J.R.: "And that is a huge disadvantage for the champions coming into this event...... he knows who his opponent is now, but he was unable to prepare for any opponent tonight". AFTER A BRIEF MOMENT OF SILENCE AS THE CROWD SPECULATED AS TO WHO WOULD COME OUT, "THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY CAME ON AND AXL IRVIN STEPPED OUT WITH A BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE. Lawler: "Axl Irvin is the wild card"! J.R.: "Well what do ya know about that...... it almost had to be this way, King. These two have battled for the last several months over this title and we're gonna get the next chapter here tonight"! Lawler: "And take a look at Tirpak.... he's already got his hands up waiting for Axl"! AXL WASTES NO TIME GETTING INTO THE RING AND THE TWO BEGIN TRADING SHOTS BEFORE THE BELL EVEN SOUNDS. J.R.: "Here we go"! TWF King of Cable Title Match Challenger: Axl Irvin vs. Chris Tirpak The bell sounded as these two heated rivalries went back and forth with rights and lefts. Axl landed a kick into the midsection and then grabbed Tirpak by the back of the head and threw him into the turnbuckle. Axl then got up on the middle turnbuckle and with both hands, began choking the champion. Referee Jack Doan moved in and began a count but Tirpak was able to push him off. Axl ran back in with a right hand but Tirpak blocked it and came back with multiple kicks before shooting Axl to the ropes and catching him with a Boss Man slam. Tirpak went for the cover and got a 2 count before Axl got a shoulder off the mat. Tirpak got him up and whipped him to the ropes again, trying for the move we may have never seen him use before again, the Boss Man Slam. This time, Axl countered into a DDT on the way down. The title match shifted into the challengers' favor as he picked Tirpak up and threw him out of the ring to the floor. This is clearly where Axl wanted to take the fight and when he got outside the ring, he grabbed Tirpak with both hands and drove him into the ring apron. He then grabbed him and rammed him face first into the ring post. Things were starting to resemble a hardcore match as Axl grabbed a drink from a man in the front row and smashed Tirpak in the head with it. After rolling Tirpak back into the ring, Axl exchanged some words with the angry fan. He then got into the ring but shockingly, Tirpak exploded up and lifted Axl up over his head, delivering the "Lights Out"! Tirpak rolled him over and hooked the leg as Doan pounded the mat for a 3 count. Match Time: 5:35 J.R.: "Oh my gosh.... where did that come from"?! Lawler: "Just when it looked like Axl Irvin had this well in hand, Tirpak hit the Lights Out out of nowhere"! "FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS" PLAYED AS DOAN HANDED THE KOC TITLE TO TIRPAK AND THEN RAISED HIS ARM IN VICTORY. YOU COULD SEE THE ADRENALINE STILL PUMPING THROUGH TIRPAK AS HE SOAKED UP THE CHEERS OF THE CROWD. J.R.: "A very, very successful title defense for Tirpak and you have to wonder if that put an emphatic end to the saga between these two men". Lawler: "I still don't think Axl knows exactly what hit him"! BACKSTAGE AREA......... THE SCENE SHIFTS TO THE BACK WHERE LENA YADA IS WITH CHRIS JERICHO. THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE IS DRAPED OVER HIS SHOULDER. BOOS EMANATE FROM INSIDE THE ARENA AS THE FANS SEE JERICHO ON THE TWF TRON. Lena Yada: "Chris, later tonight, you will defend that Intercontinental title in a Wild Card match. The Empire has said they will select your opponent and it will be either Chaos Wolf or M.X. Ogden.... so............. Chris Jericho: "Okay before you ask the ridiculous question of which of those two underachievers I prefer, let's be honest with ourselves. I am the best in the world at what I do. I will go out there tonight and do what everyone in that arena knows I will do....... put on a wrestling exhibition. So whether it's Chaos Wolf or M.X., I could care less....... now please get out of my way". LENA STEPS ASIDE AND JERICHO WALKS AWAY. "I WILL BE HEARD" BY HATEBREED COMES ON AND THE TRIO OF EDDIE SAINT JAMES, THE BOOGEYMAN AND MONICA MAKE THEIR WAY OUT, RECEIVING PRIMARILY CHEERS. J.R.: "We are about to witness TWF history as The BoogeySaints make their way out here with Monica, the former TWF Women's champion and the wife of Eddie Saint James". Lawler: "You're right, J.R., to the best of my knowledge, the Tag Team titles have never been defended in a mixed six person match". J.R.: "A monumental task in front of Cris Henning and Devon Wade tonight and I have yet to find anyone giving them much of a chance tonight". THE EMPIRE THEME COMES ON AND DEVON WADE AND CRIS HENNING STEP OUT WITH TIFFANIE. THEY ARE LOUDLY BOOED. Lawler: "Oh yeah, not only are they up against the incredibly long title reign of The BoogeySaints, they have to end it if they want to keep their jobs"! J.R.: "And to top it all off, Monica is a former Women's champion, which we mentioned moments ago and Tiffanie has had only one match in her professional career". Lawler: "Well luckily for Tiffanie, this will be the guys against the guys and the girls against the girls but I'm not sure Monica couldn't get a few good licks in on either Wade or Henning". J.R.: "Well let's throw in the fact that Wade and Henning don't exactly appear to be a cohesive unit as of late.... I mean Tiffanie seems to have come between the two". Lawler: "And I think that's why they're fighting for their jobs tonight..... The Empire wanted to test these guys and see how bad they want to be where they are". 6 Person Tag Team Match/TWF Tag Team Titles Challengers: Cris Henning, Devon Wade and Tiffanie vs. The BoogeySaints and Monica Wade and Henning seemed to be strategizing as the bell sounded and it was Wade who started for his team and the unorthodox Boogeyman on the other side. Boogeyman lunged in with a right hand but Wade ducked it and tagged him with some quick right hands. Wade then went to show something we hadn't seen out of him, a jumping spin kick, but Boogeyman caught him and put him down with a slam. He then measured Wade, clotheslining him when he got to his feet. Meanwhile, Tiffanie was slowly making her way around the outside of the ring after leaving the apron. Henning tried to get into the ring but referee Jose Mendez stopped him. But as this as going on, Tiffanie came around and grabbed the foot of Monica, pulling her off the apron. Monica hit the apron face first on the way down. She then picked her up and flung her into the ring steps. The Saint saw this and went after Tiffanie but Henning ran around the apron, leaping off and drilling the big man with a flying dropkick. The fans were silenced as Wade and Henning were representing The Empire well. Suddenly, Tiffanie was demanding a tag and, seeing the shape Monica was in, Wade gave it to her. Tiffanie got into the ring and Monica, still laying on the floor outside the ring, looked worse for wear. Mendez began to count, 1...........2..........3........4..........5..........6....... she finally got to her feet and got in the ring but Tiffanie used a Thesz Press to get her down and into a cover, getting a 2 count. Trying to put the former Women's champion away, Tiffanie fired away with several punches, most of them missing. But after pulling Monica to her feet, Tiffanie surprised the crowd, hitting a big suplex. She went into a cover and got a long 2 count but Monica rolled her right shoulder off the mat. Tiffanie got her up and whipped her into the corner. She then ran in but Monica responded with a back elbow right on the jaw before grabbing her by the hair and whipping her to the mat. Monica followed that up with a running kick to the face that seemed to knock Tiff senseless. She then made the tag to Eddie Saint James and he got into the ring, staring into the challengers' corner. Wade and Henning seemed to be arguing about who would get in with them and Henning offered a game of paper-rock-scissors with his hands. The Saint "Come on"! for someone to get in before going over to the corner and grabbing Henning, flipping him into the ring over the top rope. The Saint then waited for Henning to get up, kicking him in the face when he did. From there, The Saint dropped a flurry of elbows, 7 in a quick succession, right across the chest of Henning. Seeing his partner in trouble, Wade came into the ring and jumped onto the back of The Saint. But as he tried to lock in a sleeper hold, The Saint backed into a corner to shake him free and then a clothesline took Wade over the top rope. The Saint then picked Henning up and delivered a harsh sideslam before making the tag to Boogeyman. The Boogeyman seemed ready to put the match away as he began to gyrate his body and the crowd began to cheer. Boogeyman ran in with a clothesline but right when he got up, Henning ducked that and scrambled to his corner to tag Wade. Using the ropes, Wade sprung into the ring from the apron and caught Boogeyman with a kick to the face. He then went to the top rope and scored with a beautiful moonsault. The fans couldn't believe what they were seeing as Wade hooked the leg and got 1..................2................., but at the last second, The Boogeyman kicked out! Wade tried to keep the pressure on, going to the middle turnbuckle and jumping off but this time, Boogeyman caught him and powerslammed him to the mat. Both men were down but The Boogeyman got up first and landed a big body splash into a cover but Wade came up with a kickout at 2. What a match this was turning into as the champions were really being threatened. Boogeyman got up and shot Wade to the corner before attempting the Boogeysplash. But it was telegraphed and Wade moved out of the way and then hit a jumping neckbreaker on Boogey. Wade got himself to his corner and reached his hand out to tag Henning but shockingly, Henning jumped off the apron and began to walk away. The crowd loudly booed and Tiffanie screamed "What are you doing"?! as Henning backed up the ramp. But in the ring, Boogeyman made the tag to The Saint who came in behind Wade. Wade turned around and ate a big kick to the face. He then pulled Wade up and got him to his shoulders, delivering "Death to Humanity" as the crowd blew up in cheers. Monica got into the ring and charged across it, giving a parting shot to Tiffanie as The Saint got the 3 count on Wade. Match Time: 10:31 Lawler: "What the heck just happened"? J.R.: "The BoogeySaints and Monica have won this match but what in the hell has Cris Henning done"? Lawler: "He just walked out on his career"! "I WILL BE HEARD" PLAYED AGAIN AND THE CHAMPIONS WERE GIVEN THEIR BELTS AS MONICA APPLAUDED THEIR EFFORTS. J.R.: "He sure as hell did.... and he's sabotaged those of Wade and Tiffanie in the process....... good riddance"! Lawler: "Meanwhile, it's just another ho hum day at the office for The BoogeySaints". J.R.: "Well there is an ongoing tournament to crown number one contenders for those titles and while the winners may not take those belts, I highly doubt they'll walk away with their tail between their legs"! AFTER THE BOOGEYSAINTS WENT INTO THE BACK, WADE AND TIFFANIE WERE SERENADED BY THE CROWD WITH A CHANT OF "NAH NAH NAH NAH, NAH NAH NAH NAH, HEY HEY HEY, GOODBYE" CHANT. WADE AND TIFFANIE COULD ONLY BOW THEIR HEADS IN SHAME AND WALK AWAY. Lawler: "How humiliating this must be for these two.... what a way to end your career". J.R.: "They were given a chance to be part of The Empire but on this night, The Empire has become a little smaller". BACKSTAGE........ IN THE BACK, THE ULTIMO DRAGON, WEARING A RED, GREEN AND WHITE OUTFIT, WALKS UP TO THE TABLE WITH ALL OF THE "WILD CARDS". THE WOMAN AT THE TABLE HOLDS OUT SOME CARDS, EACH REPRESENTING HIS OPTIONS, AND HE DRAWS ONE. AFTER LOOKING AT IT, ULTIMO HANDS THE CARD BACK TO THE WOMAN AND WALKS AWAY. SEBASTIAN CAIN's DRESSING ROOM....... THE SHOT SHIFTS TO ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA WHERE DREW McINTYRE IS SHOWN WITH A PLASTIC CUP IN HIS HANDS. HE OPENS THE DOOR TO SEBASTIAN CAIN's DRESSING ROOM AND JUST STANDS IN THE DOORWAY FOR A MOMENT, SEEMINGLY IN SHOCK. McINTYRE DROPS THE CUP ON THE FLOOR, IT's CONTENTS SPILLING OUT AND HE THEN SLAMS THE DOOR BEFORE TURNING AND FLIPPING OVER A NEARBY TABLE IN THE HALLWAY. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" YELLS McINTYRE, AS HE HURRIES AWAY FROM THE ROOM. Cole: "What the hell is going on back there? Ya know, you guys have some real weirdos over there on Rampage". J.R.: "Drew McIntyre, who we know still works as the personal servant of Sebastian Cain, obviously saw something he didn't like". "Hysteria" by Muse hits in the arena, as PJ Cash strolls out from the back, briefcase in hand. He is dressed in his wrestling attire, with his new t-shirt that reads, "Made of Money". It almost looks as if he is expecting to compete. A sign in the crowd can be seen, saying "Hey Cash, I'll give you 50,000 dollars to shut up!" He gets in the ring and places the briefcase in the center of the ring, before being handed a microphone. Lawler: "And let me guess, this guy's not a weirdo"? Cole: "Are you kidding me? PJ Cash is one of the coolest guys around..... plus he had to work with this total buffoon sitting here next to me so I give him a lot of credit for that"! Hudson: "And my head hurt a lot less when I worked with him than it does with you".
PJ Cash: "In life... there are no guarantees and I knew coming into this event that there might be a chance that I wouldn't have a match. Quite frankly I knew that you fans would be upset. Upset that the TWF would slight you in such a way. The fact that they are denying you the opportunity to see the Primetime Prodigy in action is an atrocity. So I took matters into my own hands. I didn't ask for time to speak. I just took it.
The audience lets out a very audible "Shut the hell up!" chant. Cash doesn't appear to be rattled by the raucous Chicago crowd.
PJ Cash: "Much like the slot machines that you would find in a Las Vegas casino, this whole Wild Card thing is fixed. The TWF knew that they couldn't put me in the Intercontinental Championship match, because they knew I would win. Then you've got guys like Jordan Rockwell, who politics his way into a Universal Championship Match. Two losers like Wade and Henning, who shouldn't even have contracts in the first place, had a match, but I don't. Now neither of them has a job. Quite frankly, the TWF should be kissing my ass and giving in to my demands. For months I got emails, begging me to come back, as more than just a commentator. So now I'm here, generous enough to possibly make some poor soul fifty thousand dollars richer... and I have no match.
The fans start up once more: "You're an asshole!" You're an asshole!"
PJ Cash: "If I'm such an asshole, why am I practically giving away free money here? Am I an asshole because I don't pander to the crowd like that corporate monkey Matt Cruz? Manufactured by the TWF and handed a championship reign or two just because he fits the mold. While I stand here, way more talented than him, but I have to make my own breaks. Maybe it's because I don't tell lame jokes like "The Franchise". I find it very disturbing that guys like these, men who are considered to be the top stars of the TWF, are so damn corny. Raise your standards Chicago. Anyway... I sincerely hope that on the next episode of Primetime, I get some better competition for this money. I think everyone misunderstood me when I asked for people who actually have a shot at beating me. Blitzkrieg? Where did they dig this guy up from? The gauntlet has been laid down. All you have to do is step up and try and beat the very best Primetime has to offer. Just remember, money makes the world go 'round, but when it comes to the TWF, the world revolves around me".
Cash drops the microphone and picks up the briefcase as he leaves the ring, looking quite pleased with himself. The crowd seems a bit stunned at some of the comments made by Cash, but he appears to have made his point. Cole: "Now that's the PJ Cash I remember". Hudson: "Well if he keeps taking shots at guys like that, he may have an even longer line of people trying to get that money from him"! Cole: "The line couldn't be too long if a guy like Blitzkrieg took the first crack at the money. I just think that most of the guys on the roster know they can't beat PJ, so why try"?! A LOUD POP FOLLOWS ONCE PJ CASH IS OUT OF SIGHT AND THE ULTIMO DRAGON COMES OUT WITH THE TWF LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE STRAPPED TO HIS WAIST. FLAMES POP UP ON EITHER SIDE OF THE ENTRANCE RAMP AS HE HEADS TO THE RING. Hudson: "The Ultimo Dragon is set to defend the TWF Lightheavyweight title here and this is a guy who many consider to be the greatest Lightheavyweight in TWF history but he's in for a big challenge tonight"! Cole: "The challenge of the unknown. I mean, he knows who his opponent is now since he drew that card back there, but he's had all of about two minutes to get ready for whoever that is"! AFTER THE DRAGON ENTERS THE RING, THE SUSPENSE FILLS THE AIR AS EVERYONE TURNS THEIR ATTENTION TO THE ENTRANCE. KAVAL's MUSIC COMES ON AND A VERY CONFIDENT LOOKING MAN STEPS OUT, PEERING INTO THE CROWD. Hudson: "It's Kaval...... a superstar from Rampage has gotten the wild card"! Cole: "Oh wonderful, it's the internet sensation Kaval! The greatest wrestler in the mind of every twenty two year old virgin"! Hudson: "Kaval is an excellent wrestler, Michael, and he will give the Dragon all he can handle tonight"! Cole: "I wonder if there's any way they can both lose..... this is brutal". TWF Lightheavyweight Title Match Challenger: Kaval vs. Ultimo Dragon The bell sounded and the fans were already clapping and cheering, feeling they were in store for something special. Kaval and the Dragon circled one another until Kaval pushed forward with kicks from either leg. The Dragon finally checked one of the kicks and responded with a similar attack. He tried to cap it off with a jumping spin kick but Kaval ducked and then dropped the champion with a double knifedge. Kaval waited for the Dragon to get to his feet. When he did, he put his feet on him again with some sharp kicks before landing a jumping roundhouse to the side of the head. Kaval used the ropes to spring into the air, landing on the Dragon with a body splash. He hooked the inside leg and got a 2 count before Ultimo was up. Kaval threw a kick while the Dragon was on his knees but Ultimo ducked and rolled him up with a schoolboy, getting a 2 count. Kaval got up but Ultimo gave him no recovery time, running in with a monkey flip that put Kaval on his back. Ultimo then completed a standing moonsault into a cover but Kaval easily pushed him off. Both men were back on their feet and Kaval ran in only to be put down with an arm drag. Ultimo held onto the right arm of Kaval and tried to tie it up in a Fujiwara armbar but Kaval wiggled out of it and got to his feet. Ultimo, lying on his back, tried to defend himself but Kaval struck with a nasty foot stomp that brought back memories of the old Pride days in MMA. Ultimo seemed done and Kaval quickly flopped into a cover, getting a 1..................2..................., but the Dragon was up. Kaval got him up and went for a whip to the corner but Ultimo reversed it. He then charged in but Kaval caught him with his right foot to the face. He then slung the champion into the corner and went across the ring. He then hit the perfect cartwheel kick known as the Tidal Crush. Ultimo took the brunt of it square in the face and after dropping to his knees, he fell face first to the mat. Instead of going for the cover, Kaval picked him up and slammed him to the mat before going to the outside of the ring. Kaval went to the top rope but before he could come off, Ultimo got up and fell into the ring ropes to knock him to a crotched position. From there, the Dragon hit an incredible Frankensteiner that drove Kaval's head into the mat. The Dragon made a cover by sitting on the chest of Kaval and pulling his left leg forward but after a long 2 count, Kaval kicked out. Ultimo got up and looked down at his opponent, clearly surprised at his will to stay alive in the match. "This is awesome! This is awesome"! broke out in the crowd as the two men were putting on a clinic. The Dragon got Kaval up and shot him to the ropes. As Kaval came back, Ultimo went for his jumping spin kick again but Kaval caught him and threw him over his head. Ultimo landed hard on the mat and when he tried to get up, Kaval kicked him in the side of the head so hard it looked like it might rip the mask off his face. Ultimo was in deep trouble as Kaval made the cover but again, at 2 and 7/8, Ultimo got a shoulder off the mat. Kaval got Ultimo up for a backdrop suplex before again ascending the top rope.He flew off with the double foot stomp which has come to be known as "Warrior's Way" but Ultimo rolled out of the way. Still on the mat, Ultimo quickly struck with a back footsweep before popping to his feet. When Kaval got up, he ate the spin kick hard. Ultimo pulled the challenger up and shot him to the corner. Kaval ran up to the middle turnbuckle and came off with a reverse crossbody but Ultimo rolled through into a cover and got another very near fall. Both men got to their feet and Kaval blasted the chest of the respected champion with multiple knifedge chops. He then shot the Dragon into the ropes and went for a hurricanrana but Ultimo saw it coming and countered into a sitout powerbomb. Seeing an opening, the Dragon slapped on his vaunted Dragon Sleeper but quickly, Kaval countered with a knee right to the face, breaking the hold. Trying to time his next move perfectly, Kaval used the ropes to spring but Ultimo got in a kick to the abdomen and hit the "Dragon DDT" out of nowhere. Ultimo made the cover and the fans in Chicago joined the referee in making the 3 count. Match Time: 11:51 Hudson: "What a phenomenal match! We were just treated to a five star classic, Cole"! Cole: "Yeah, yeah, I guess it's better than watching some of the divas we have on this roster but still, I'm not going to buy into the fact that a guy is good just because some dork on the internet goes and says.......... Hudson: "I'm gonna cut ya off right there, Michael, look at this.......... AS ULTIMO DRAGON's MUSIC PLAYED, HE STOOD IN THE CENTER OF THE RING WITH THE LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE OVER HIS RIGHT SHOULDER. KAVAL, STILL FEELING THE AFFECTS OF THE GRUELING MATCH, MOVED IN AND EXTENDED HIS HAND. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, ULTIMO ACCEPTED THE HANDSHAKE AND A HUGE APPLAUSE FOLLOWED. Hudson: "Ya see that..... ya see that, Michael?! That is the ultimate respect being paid by two great competitors after one of the best matches we've seen in awhile! That's the kind of respect you'll never earn"! Cole: "Oh ya mean like internet respect and being considered a God by some fanboy?! Sorry, but I don't want it"! Hudson: "Well earlier you said you wondered if there was a way they could both lose. This is the type of match where we're all winners"! Cole: "Pssshh"! BACKSTAGE........ IN THE BACK, CAMERAS SHOW CRIS HENNING HAS ALREADY SHOWERED AND IS IN STREET CLOTHES, WALKING OUT OF THE ARENA WITH A DUFFEL BAG OVER HIS SHOULDER WHEN HE RUNS INTO MONEY MIKE. Cris Henning: "Ya know what, just save it, I don't want to hear it. I've listened to your crap for long enough and I don't care anymore"! HENNING TURNS TO WALK AWAY BUT TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS STANDING THERE. WITHOUT BLINKING AN EYE, WAKEMAN CATCHES HENNING WITH A RIGHT HAND CLEAN ON THE JAW AND PUTS HIM DOWN. THE CAMERA PANS DOWN TO SHOW THE FORMER EMPIRE MEMBER IS CLEARLY UNCONCIOUS. MATT CRUZ's DRESSING ROOM THE SHOT GOES TO THE LOCKER ROOM, WHERE THE WORLD CHAMPION, MATT CRUZ, IS SEEN STRETCHING OUT HIS QUADRICEP MUSCLES WHILE MARIA IS OFF TO THE SIDE, WATCHING WITH THE WORLD TITLE BELT IN HER HANDS. SHE HAS A BIT OF A CONCERNED LOOK ON HER FACE.
Maria: "I still can't believe you agreed to give that serpent Orton a title shot. I don't care what anybody says, he's scum. He's lower than scum, he's pocket lint. He's a Casey Anthony juror"!
CRUZ GETS UP FROM STRECTHING, WITH A SMIRK ON HIS FACE.
Matt Cruz: "Jeez, babe, how do you really feel about the guy"?
Maria: "You remember what he did to me last year, right"?
Matt Cruz: "Yeah and I remember what I did to his dad, too, so I imagine the entire Orton family feels the exact same way about me".
MARIA PUTS HER HANDS ON HER HIPS, CLEARLY A LITTLE AGGRAVATED WITH CRUZ.
Maria: "Matt, I love you, but what the hell? What's with the mutual respect you've got going with that asshole! That guy would RKO his own mother for the World title"!
Matt Cruz: "Exactly. I know exactly who I'm getting in the ring with. Yeah, I've come to respect the in ring competitor he is, but that doesn't mean I've forgotten who I'm dealing with. You remember the fable about the Frog and The Scorpion"?
MARIA SHAKES HER HEAD, A LITTLE CONFUSED.
Matt Cruz: "Well, a frog and a scorpion come across a river. They both need to cross it to get to the other side. The scorpion asks the frog if he can help him cross the river. The frog refuses, at first, thinking the scorpion will sting him if he helps him. The scorpion gives him his word he won't sting him. With that, the frog lets the scorpion climb on his back and they both make it across the river. To repay his kindness, the scorpion stings the frog. "Why did you do it?" the dying frog asks. "Because it is in my nature." the scorpion replies. Believe me, I have no intention of letting that scorpion sting me. I know the people seem to be cheering this guy now, but I know for fact he hasn't changed and I am keeping a close eye on the guy".
MARIA LETS OUT A BREATH AND SMILE COMES OVER HER FACE.
Maria: "Okay, I get it now".
MARIA AND CRUZ EMBRACE AS THE SHOT FADES OUT. "BREAK THE WALLS DOWN" COMES ON AND MOST OF THE CROWD ACTUALLY CHEERS AS CHRIS JERICHO COMES OUT WITH THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE. Hudson: "Are these people actually cheering Chris Jericho? Strange night here in Chicago". Cole: "Yes and they should be. Chris Jericho is easily the best wrestler we've seen out here tonight to this point and his claim that he is the best in the world at what he does is something I agree one hundred percent with"! Hudson: "Well unlike guys like Chris Tirpak and Ultimo Dragon, Jericho didn't have to worry about a multitude of different opponents tonight. It will be one of two guys". Cole: "Yeah and instead of it being decided by drawing a card, it will be decided by The Empire who will surely make the right choice"! Hudson: "Will it be Chaos Wolf or M.X. Ogden getting the wild card"?! JERICHO LOOKED TO THE ENTRANCE AND MOTIONED HIS HANDS, CHALLENGING WHOEVER WAS COMING OUT TO GET IN THE RING WITH HIM. "CAPRICORN" BY 30 SECONDS TO MARS COMES ON AND M.X. OGDEN COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION. COVERING HIS FACE IS A BLACK BANDANA AND WITH HIM AT HIS SIDE IS AJ LEE. Hudson: "Well they've chosen the leader of Rising United..... was that the right choice"? Cole: "Oh I don't think there's any doubt. Ogden won that fatal four way to guarantee himself the number one contender so how could it not be him"? Hudson: "Yes, but Chaos Wolf defeated Jericho in singles action...... to me he deserved the shot first". Cole: "Your opinion obviously differs from that of The Empire and they call the shots..... deal with it and call the match". Hudson: "M.X. Ogden will have his new valet AJ Lee in his corner but Jericho doesn't look worried at all, he almost looks like he expected this". Cole: "I can promise you that Chris Jericho prepared for both Ogden and Chaos Wolf and knows how to beat them both..... Ogden will have to wrestle a perfect match to get that belt". TWF Intercontinental Title Match Challenger: M.X. Ogden w/ AJ Lee vs. Chris Jericho The bell sounded to get things underway after referee Marty Elias gave Ogden a look at the belt. AJ Lee cheered her man on from outside the ring as Jericho got down in somewhat of an amateur stance. Ogden seemed wary of moving in on him and backed off. Jericho returned to a vertical base and the two men locked up. Y2J was able to back the challenger to the corner and press both hands up against his face. Elias asked for a break but didn't get one so he moved in between the two men trying to separate them. Jericho popped Ogden in the nose with a right hand when he did and then he laced his chest with some stiff chops. After a snap mare, Jericho hit a running basement dropkick before getting up and shouting "I'm the best in the world"! to which he got a big pop. Jericho then put one foot on the chest of Ogden but had it pushed off before even a 1 count. Jericho got Ogden up and pushed him to the ropes, whipping him to the other side. Jericho dropped his head but Ogden used it to flip off of, landing on his feet and then connecting with a spinning heel kick that put the champion down. Jericho got up and fell to another spinning heel kick and Ogden then tried to take a page out of Jericho's book, going for the Lionsault. But Jericho got his knees up right in the chest area. It seemed like it knocked the wind out of Ogden and Jericho then followed up with the "Codebreaker"! A roar came out of the crowd but luckily for Ogden, he was able to roll out of the ring to prevent a pinfall. Jericho seemed fine winning the match by countout and Elias started his count as AJ Lee ran over to help Ogden. The count was at 5 when Jericho left the ring and pushed AJ out of the way. She seemed upset by the gesture but didn't want to take the chance of getting Ogden disqualified. Jericho pulled Ogden up but Ogden wrapped his arms around him and drove the small of his back into the ring apron. From there, he got up on the apron and came off with a front flip style suicide dive, taking Jericho out. Ogden landed good and was able to return to the ring. He then rolled back out to break Elias' count, knowing a countout would not give him the gold. Ogden grabbed Jericho and rolled him into the ring, draping his head over the middle ring rope. The fans could sense something big coming as Ogden went to the top rope and flew off, landing on the upper back area of Jericho with a legdrop. It looked like we may have a new champion as Ogden went into a cover, hooking the leg, but Jericho was up at 2 and a half. Ogden was now in control of the match but when he went for an irish whip, Jericho reversed it and kicked him in the abdomen, following with a jumping insugiri. Ogden tried to stay on his feet and Jericho again went for the Codebreaker. But Ogden countered by pushing Jericho's knees and dropping him head first on the mat. From there, Ogden grabbed a single leg and turned Jericho over in the half crab. The fans were stunned at the thought that Jericho could tap out but in the center of the ring, he had his right hand up and ready. Instead, Jericho was able to roll to his side and despite risking great injury to his leg, he got both hands around the throat of Ogden, pulling him off. He then got Ogden in position and delivered a nice powerbomb, a move we haven't seen in Jericho's repertoire for years. Jericho followed that up with a perfect Lionsault and after dusting off his hands, it appeared over. Jericho hooked the outside leg of Ogden and got within a centimeter of a 3 count, but Ogden was still alive. Jericho decided to pull Ogden up and set him on the top turnbuckle, preparing for a high impact move. Jericho climbed up but Ogden punched him several times in the kidney area and then came a fantastic scenario. Ogden was able to position himself to use Jericho as a springboard and he used 2 feet to the back of the head to jump off but at the same time, that drove Jericho face first into the top turnbuckle pad. Ogden landed on his feet and Jericho turned around holding his mouth and he walked right into the "Memory Maker"! AJ was jumping up and down outside the ring as Ogden made the cover and hooked both legs for the 1........................2.......................3! Match Time: 9:31 Hudson: "Oh what a finish! That came out of nowhere, Michael"! Cole: "I can't believe Ogden did it..... but he has done it"! Hudson: "The wild card paid off for M.X. Ogden in a massive way and look, here comes the rest of Rising United"! AJ LEE CAME INTO THE RING WITH THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE, HANDING IT TO OGDEN WHO DROPPED TO HIS KNEES WITH THE BELT IN HIS HANDS AS "CAPRICORN" BLARED AGAIN. JUSTIN GABRIEL, TYLER REKS AND VANCE ARCHER CAME TO THE RING APPLAUDING. Cole: "This is a great moment for Ogden and for Rising United...... it has to be considered a major upset but it could possibly be the biggest win of Ogden's storied TWF career". Hudson: "I don't think there's any possibly in there..... whether you like M.X. Ogden or you don't, he wrestled a great match there and beat one of the best ever". REKS AND ARCHER HOISTED OGDEN ONTO THEIR SHOULDERS AND HE RAISED THE BELT UP HIGH AS THE FANS LOOKED ON. Cole: "This is turning into a memorable night and we've got so much more still to come! Let's send it to the back"! BACKSTAGE........ MONEY MIKE COMES TO THE TABLE TO DRAW A CARD FOR THE WORLD TITLE MATCH COMING UP IN MOMENTS. THE WOMAN SITTING AT THE TABLE IS STARTING TO LOOK MORE AND MORE FAMILIAR. MIKE REACHES INTO HER HAND AND PULLS OUT A CARD. Money Mike: "I like that........ it looks like Randy Orton and Matt Cruz will be tearing each other apart tonight (flips the card over) inside a steel cage". THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING AND A TENSE MOMENT FALLS OVER THE CROWD AMIDST SOME CHEERS AS A STEEL CAGE BEGINS TO BE LOWERED FROM THE CEILING, ENCOMPASSING THE RING. "VOICES" BY REV THEORY COMES ON AND A GOOD RESPONSE COMES FROM THE CROWD AS THE CHALLENGER AND FORMER CHAMPION RANDY ORTON COMES OUT. AS HE WALKS DOWN THE RAMP, HE SURVEYS THE STRUCTURE OVER THE RING. J.R.: "So one of the oldest but still one of the most brutal matches in this business, a steel cage match will decide our World title, King". Lawler: "It can be brutal but I'd still take it over some of the long, exhausting matches that could have been thrown at them. I mean, imagine if they would have made these guys go an hour in an Iron Man match"?! THE FANS APPLAUD AS "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE COMES ON. MARIA COMES OUT, GETTING A HUGE CHEER, FOLLOWED BY MATT CRUZ, WHO HAS THE WORLD TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. HE IS ALSO SPORTING HIS BURNT ORANGE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS LETTER JACKET. J.R.: "Something tells me they would had stared any challenge square in the eyes tonight, King. These two guys are arguably the two best Rampage has to offer and tonight it gets decided within fifteen feet and chain link fence and steel". Lawler: "And we heard what Matt Cruz had to say about Orton earlier tonight. He respects the guy but probably not enough to have him over for Christmas dinner if ya know what I'm sayin'"! J.R.: "Randy Orton has been waiting since WrestleMania last year to get a shot at Matt Cruz, who beat him for it that night and then it was The Empire, or more specifically, Money Mike, who refused to give Orton another shot at the title". Lawler: "Orton has come a long way to this rematch but Matt Cruz is happy to give it to him..... Matt Cruz had his celebration spoiled that night at the hands of The Empire and he wants to prove he can defeat Randy Orton again". TWF World Title/Steel Cage Match Challenger: Randy Orton vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz w/ Maria The bell sounded and the fight was on. Cruz and Orton were in the middle of the ring, throwing blows and the crowd was loving it. Orton seemed to be winning the battle but after staggering Cruz, he ran at him and went right into the champion's clutches, being belly to belly suplexed to the mat. Cruz then got Orton up and performed a great T-Bone suplex. Pinfall, submission or escape were all ways you could win this match, but Cruz wasn't thinking about that yet. He got Orton up and tried to throw him onto the cage wall but Orton blocked it and elbowed Cruz in the abdomen before running his face across the top ring rope. After some stiff European uppercuts, Orton took Cruz out with a standing dropkick. He then went to the outside of the ring and to the top turnbuckle, trying to climb out of the cage. But Cruz got up and climbed to the middle turnbuckle, slapping his right hand on the tights of Orton to stop his progress. He then put Orton's arm around his own head and delivered a falling backdrop suplex and both men were down. Maria covered her face with her hands and looked very concerned. Cruz slowly rolled over into a cover but couldn't get much on it and Orton was up at 2. Cruz seemed to recover from the impact quicker and he started to lay into the challenger with punches and kicks before throwing Orton face first into the cage. He then got Orton up onto his shoulders but Orton was able to rake his hand across his face to get free. He then went for the "RKO" but Cruz pushed free, sending Orton flying across the ring. Orton got up and Cruz grabbed him for another belly to belly suplex and put him down in the middle of the ring. From there, Cruz went to the corner and climbed to the top rope. He seemed to give some thought to climbing the cage but instead flew off with an incredible moonsault, landing it hard. He covered Orton and got 1.............2.................., but Orton was up! The fans started to applaud, appreciating what they were seeing. Cruz pulled Orton to his feet but out of nowhere Orton grabbed him and pulled him across his body with a backbreaker. After a violent DDT, Orton felt he had the match in hand and began to climb the cage. He got about halfway up it and Cruz was still down. Maria seemed to be yelling something to encourage Cruz to get up and he did. With Orton near the top, Cruz desperately began to climb. Cruz stopped Orton at the top of the cage, barely preventing him from going over. The two began to exchange punches until Orton grabbed Cruz around the head and neck. An "Ohhhhhhhhh" was heard from the crowd as they could see a devastating version of the RKO coming. But Cruz pushed out of it, sending Orton to the mat. The motion caused Cruz to slip as well and he took an awkward fall to the mat below as well. The fans cheered for both men to get to their feet but neither seemed like they had much left in the tank. On the mat, Cruz started to set something up, grabbing Orton's legs. Slowly, he worked his position and got up, turning Orton into the "Colorado Cloverleaf". The fans could sense the end, but Orton yelled "Noooooo"! continuously in the face of referee Jim Korderas. Cruz held the hold for almost 2 fulls minutes, pulling back and wrenching it with all he had. Orton was clearly in pain, however and finally, Cruz released the hold. Orton lay flat on his chest as Cruz went to the cage wall and began to climb it. Tensions rose in Allstate Arena as Cruz went up the cage. Orton started to get up, but it appeared to be too late. Holding his lower back in agony, Orton could only watch as Cruz went over the top of the cage and climbed down to the floor before the bell sounded. Match Time: 10:43 J.R.: "And that's it, Cruz has defeated Orton again"! Lawler: "What a match and what a victory for Matt Cruz! He will now head to................ J.R.: "Wait...... what is this"?! AS MARIA AND CRUZ CELEBRATED THE WIN OUTSIDE THE CAGE, CM PUNK CAME UP FROM OUT OF NOWHERE AND NAILED CRUZ FROM BEHIND. THE CROWD WENT WILD AS PUNK THEN GOT CRUZ UP AND HIT THE "GO TO SLEEP". MARIA STOOD FAR FROM PUNK AS HE WALKED AWAY AND GOT A MICROPHONE. THE FANS WERE IN A FRENZY AS A CHANT OF "CM PUNK" BROKE OUT. CM Punk: "Raise this cage..... c'mon, hurry up"! Lawler: "Who is Punk making these demands to"? THE CAGE SLOWLY STARTED TO RISE AS PUNK ENTERED THE RING. J.R.: "CM Punk, a Chicago native, has come out here and attacked our World champion and now he seems ready to take over this event. Listen to this place"! CM Punk: "Did you really think we were gonna have an event here in Chicago without me? THE CROWD POPS LOUDLY I mean, come on, you had to see this coming, Cruz, and for a variety of reasons. One, you're the World champion..... two, I'm the number one contender after winning this year's Royal Rumble and three..... well three I'll leave to you to figure out. But one thing is for certain, at WrestleMania 12, which happens to be in your hometown of Denver......... THE FANS BOO you can sign this one in blood right now for all I care. It will be me challenging you for the World title and you can bet your ass these people here in Chicago are going to throw a party that will make the riots your town threw after that crappy team of yours won the Super Bowl like fifteen years ago....... look like a joke"! PUNK DROPS THE MICROPHONE AS "THIS FIRE BURNS" STARTS TO PLAY. ANOTHER INCREDIBLY LOUD CHEER IS HEARD AS PUNK LEAVES THE RING, WALKING RIGHT OVER THE FALLEN CRUZ AND GIVING MARIA A LONG STARE. PUNK THE EYEBALLS THE TWF WORLD TITLE BEFORE WALKING AWAY AS THE "CM PUNK" CHANT CONTINUES. Lawler: "Well it appears one main event for WrestleMania is set, J.R...... can you believe what CM Punk just did"? J.R.: "Actually I can and there is no doubt that this was a pre-meditated attack on the part of CM Punk and this crowd..... this crowd is treating him like a hero! I understand he's from Chicago but if you want a title shot, what happened to just asking for it"? Lawler: "There seems to be a lot more than meets the eye here, J.R., and I don't mean the Autobots and Decepticons! Okay..... bad joke". BACKSTAGE AREA........ IN THE BACK, CAMERAS SHOW A NICE, TONE SET OF LEGS AND ANOTHER, MUCH BIGGER SET OF LEGS, WALKING SIDE BY SIDE. THE CAMERA PANS UP TO SHOW THAT IT's KAYLA KARTER AND KHARMA COMING UPON THE WILD CARD TABLE. KARTER HAS THE WOMEN's TITLE OVER HER SHOULDER. THE WOMAN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TABLE IS SHUFFLING HER CARDS, GETTING THEM READY. Kayla Karter: "Hurry up with those cards.... I don't have all night. I can't wait to fight out which one of these prissy little bitches I get to beat up on tonight". Card dealer: "The cards will be ready when I say they are". Kayla Karter: "Are you giving me attitude? (Looks up at Kharma) I definitely detected some attitude there". WITH THAT, KAYLA RIPS THE VEIL OF THE WOMAN's FACE. THE CROWD INSIDE THE BUILDING CHEERS, REALIZING THE WOMAN IS U.S. WOMEN's SOCCER TEAM GOALKEEPER HOPE SOLO! Card dealer: "Watch yourself"! Kayla Karter: "Or what...... wait a minute, aren't you..... aren't you that........ Card dealer: "Pick a card"! Kayla Karter: "I suggest you lower your tone...... unless you want to see what happens when Kharma comes around". HOPE SOLO STANDS UP FROM HER SEAT AS IF TO CHALLENGE KAYLA WHEN ALBA RIOS ENTERS THE SHOT. Alba Rios: "Hold on, hold on! I have a better idea........ let me see these. ALBA PICKS UP THE CARDS FROM THE TABLE AND LOOKS THEM OVER. Yeah, none of these ladies are worthy......... SHE FLINGS THE CARDS ALL OVER THE PLACE. Instead, let's make this the ultimate Wild Card match. Let's put Kayla Karter on one side..... and miss USA... miss soccer player on the other..... with the TWF Women's title on the line". KAYLA AND KHARMA BOTH START TO LAUGH AND WALK AWAY AS HOPE SOLO JUST ENGAGES IN A STAREDOWN WITH ALBA RIOS, BUT SHE DOES NOT SEEM INTIMIDATED. Lawler: "You've gotta be kidding me! What is going on here tonight"?! J.R.: "Hope Solo is gonna challenge Kayla Karter"? ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA........ CAMERAS SHOW DREW McINTYRE COME UPON JASON OLIVER, WHO IS IN A BLACK LEATHER JACKET AND BLUE JEANS. HE SEEMS INTENT ON WHAT McINTYRE IS ABOUT TO SAY. Drew McIntyre: "He took the bait". Jason Oliver: "Perfect....... THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING WHERE "HELP I'M ALIVE" BY METRIC COMES ON AND KAYLA KARTER COMES OUT WITH KHARMA TO NUMEROUS BOOS. WITH THE WOMEN's TITLE IN HER RIGHT HAND, KARTER SEEMS TO BE ANTAGONIZING THE CROWD. J.R.: "Here comes the reigning Women's champion and I still can't quite wrap my head around what we're about to see here". Lawler: "The Empire has just made a Women's title match between a great champion and someone who has never wrestled in her life"! J.R.: "Add to it that monster.... that beastly woman in the corner of Kayla Karter and this is just unbelievably ridiculous"! THE CROWD LETS OUT ANOTHER HUGE CHEER AND HOPE SOLO COMES OUT IN A WHITE SHIRT AND PAIR OF JEANS, WAVING TO THE CROWD. SHE IS ALSO WEARING TENNIS SHOES BUT LOOKS READY TO COMPETE. THE CAMERA GETS A SHOT OF KAYLA KARTER WHO IS JUST LICKING HER CHOPS AT THE THOUGHT OF GETTING SOLO IN THE RING. Lawler: "Well here she comes and I guess she can look at it this way, at least her opponent isn't Japanese. Okay, another bad joke". J.R.: "Wait a minute, look at this..... Jack Doan is throwing Kharma out of here"! THE FANS CHEERED AS DOAN ORDERED KHARMA TO GET AWAY FROM RINGSIDE, THREATENING TO DISQUALIFY KARTER IF SHE DIDN'T. ANGRILY, KHARMA LEFT THE RING BUT AS SHE DID, KAYLA ATTACKED HOPE FROM BEHIND. TWF Women's Title Match........... Challenger: Hope Solo vs. Kayla Karter Karter was all over Hope but the U.S. Women's team goalkeeper seemed ready for a good scrap, finally flinging her off. Both women got to their feet and Solo tackled Karter as a huge cheer came from the crowd. She did her best to inflict some damage but most of her punches were off the mark. Kayla used her legs to get Solo off of her. She then threw a kick but Solo caught her foot and kicked her free leg out from under her with her strong leg. Solo allowed the champion to get up but she didn't have a follow up move in mind and Kayla kicked her right in the gut. She then took her to the mat with a headlock takedown before controlling her on the mat and then using both hands to choke her. Doan began to count and Karter continued to choke and slap the inexperienced challenger. Kayla finally shoved Doan out of the way, showing her disregard for his authority. Suddenly, the crowd went nuts when Gina Carano came running out from the back. She slid into the ring and took Kayla down with a clothesline. Doan called for the bell, throwing the match out. Carano continued to work on Karter and a spin kick to the head knocked her over the top rope and to the floor. Kharma came out from the back but Karter just grabbed her belt and then held off the big woman, leading her back up the ramp. In the ring, Carano helped up Hope Solo. Lawler: "Well thank gosh for Gina Carano.... who knows what would have happened to this young lady without her"! J.R.: "My hat is off to Hope Solo though..... she obviously didn't plan on getting involved tonight and she sure as hell could've turned it down and walked out of here but she's a gamer..... take a look at this scene"! "TEARS DON'T FALL" BY BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE PLAYED OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AND THE CROWD STOOD AND CHEERED TWO OF THE MOST RECOGNIZABLE FEMALE ATHLETES IN THE WORLD TODAY. CARANO THEN RAISED THE HAND OF SOLO AS THEY WATCHED KHARMA AND KARTER HEAD TO THE BACK. BACKSTAGE....... THE FANS LOUDLY CHEER AGAIN WHEN "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN IS SHOWN ON THE TWF TRON. Steve Austin: "What a night TWF Code Red has been! THE CROWD CHEERS IN AGREEMENT But there's still one more match tonight and it's for the TWF Universal title. The stipulation for that match has been chosen, so hold onto your seats because Joe Corey and Jordan Rockwell are about to enter...... Tables, Ladders and Chairs"! A HUGE ROAR FOLLOWS THE ANNOUNCEMENT AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING. Cole: "Oh my! A TLC match to close out this event..... wow". Hudson: "And a very personal situation at that. Can you imagine the vindication for Jordan Rockwell if he can overcome everything The Empire has thrown at him and still win the Universal title? I mean, I think you could make the argument that it would be the greatest TWF accomplishment ever". "SAVE ME" BY BURN HALO COMES ON AND JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT. CHICAGO GIVES HIM A MIXED RESPONSE, SOMETHING ROCKWELL IS DEFINITELY NOT USED TO. Cole: "There's no doubt that The Empire has thrown everything but the kitchen sink at this man but by the same token, if Joe Corey can dispose of Rockwell, The Empire owes him nothing, regardless of what Stone Cold Steve Austin thinks"! ROCKWELL GETS INTO THE RING AND STARTS TO GET LOOSE, WAITING FOR THE CHAMPION. "AMAZING" BY KANYE WEST STARTS UP AND JOE COREY COMES OUT FROM THE BACK. HE HAS THE UNIVERSAL TITLE TIGHTLY STRAPPED TO HIS WAIST AND HE IS CHEERED BY THE STRANGE CHICAGO CROWD. Hudson: "And here comes the champion and I can say this much, unlike John Cena, at least this challenger got to the ring, Michael"! Cole: "I'm so tired of that story! How do we know that Cena didn't slip on a banana peel?! He's not here so we don't need to talk about him"! Hudson: "Then let's talk about the history between these two men. Easily two of the biggest stars in TWF history, they've each gotten the better of the other in the past but have they ever had a bigger match than this one"? Cole: "Oh definitely not.... and I say that without hesitation but I still argue that if it weren't for Steve Austin, the match wouldn't even be happening"! Hudson: "So who would Corey have defended the belt against?! No one?! Oh I'm sure he was expecting that"! TWF Universal Title/Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match Challenger: Jordan Rockwell vs. "The Show" Joe Corey Referee Mike Chioda hooked the Universal title and it was hoisted above the ring. The bell sounded and both men turned their backs to one another, leaving the ring on opposite sides to get one of the weapons featured in the match. Corey grabbed a table and Rockwell a ladder, sending them into the ring. Both men got back into the ring and met each other with right hands. Rockwell took control after getting the better of the exchange and off an irish whip, he backdropped Corey. Corey hit the mat just short of where Rockwell laid the ladder. Rockwell grabbed the table and set it up in the corner before going back to Corey but from one knee, Corey punched Rockwell and then got up, striking him with a kick to the crotch. Corey then stood the ladder up in the corner and threw Rockwell face first into it. Corey liked that so much, he did it twice. After tossing Rockwell aside, Corey grabbed the ladder and positioned it under the title. He began to climb the ladder but Rockwell was not going to go away that easily. He got to his feet and grabbed the left leg of Corey. Corey tried to shake free but Rockwell pulled him down and Corey hit his chin on one of the rungs of the ladder. Rockwell then took him and threw him shoulder first into the steel ring post. It was now Rockwell's turn to go up the ladder. He started up but saw Corey getting to his feet. Rockwell turned around on the ladder and jumped off but Corey caught him in mid air and then rammed him into the ladder, knocking it over. Corey followed that up with a spinebuster and both men were down. The fans were chanting for both men. Corey rolled out of the ring and got hold of a steel chair, bringing it in. Targeting Rockwell's back, Corey wore him out with the chair, blasting him several times. To the surprise of many, Beth Phoenix came running down to the ring. She got in and stood behind Corey. He turned around ready to swing the chair but hesitated when he realized it was Beth. Corey's momentary show of heart cost him as Rockwell came from behind with a low blow. Taking advantage of the No DQ rules of the match, Rockwell and Phoenix together got Corey up, slamming him through the table that was positioned earlier! The crowd could sense the end as Rockwell grabbed the ladder and set it back up. He began to climb it and was near the top, getting his fingertips on the belt. He went to take one more step up but when he did, the title started to rise. Hudson: "Wait a minute..... what the hell is this?! Someone is pulling the title away"! ROCKWELL LOOKED UP AT THE BELT WHICH WAS RISING TOWARDS THE RAFTERS WHEN SUDDENLY, THE LIGHTS IN THE ARENA CUT OUT. THE TWF TRON CAME ON AND THE CAMERA's POINT OF VIEW WAS ALMOST OF SOMEONE RUNNING AND THEY COULD BE HEARD BREATHING HEAVILY. FINALLY, THE SCENE RESTED ON A BLANK TOMBSTONE, A LARGE CRACK IN IT. THE SHOT THEN WENT TO THAT OF A CASKET...... THE CASKET SWUNG OPEN AND NOTHING WAS INSIDE. THE TRON THEN CUT OUT AND THE ARENA WAS PITCH BLACK. SCREAMS COULD BE HEARD AND MANY FANS WERE WONDERING WHAT WAS GOING ON. THE LIGHTS CAME BACK ON IN THE ALLSTATE ARENA AND JOE COREY WAS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN. HOWEVER, THE FAMILIAR MASKED MAN FROM THE EMPIRE WAS IN THE RING AND HE PUSHED THE LADDER OVER. ROCKWELL, STILL NEAR THE TOP, TOOK AN INCREDIBLY HARD FALL. THE MASKED MAN, WITHOUT ANY WARNING, TURNED AND DROPPED BETH PHOENIX WITH A SUPERKICK. THE MAN THEN PICKED UP A STEEL CHAIR, WAITING FOR ROCKWELL TO GET UP. WHEN HE DID, HE SWUNG THE CHAIR LIKE A BASEBALL BAT, CRUSHING "THE FRANCHISE" IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD. ROCKWELL FELL FACE FIRST TO THE MAT AS THE MASKED MAN STOOD OVER ROCKWELL AND LOOKED DOWN AT HIM. IN ONE OF THE MOST SHOCKING MOMENTS IN TWF HISTORY...... THE MAN REMOVED HIS MASK. Hudson: "What the............... Cole: "Oh.My.God". THE SHOT FADED OUT ON THE FACE OF THE MAN....... WHICH WAS THAT OF KID GUNDAM.
