"WE MADE IT" BY BUSTA RHYMES AND LINKIN PARK HITS AND THE FIREWORKS GO OFF TO START BADLANDZ! WE'VE SOLD OUT THE SOVEREIGN CENTER IN READING, PENNSYLVANIA… THE FIRST TIME BADLANDZ HAS EVER SOLD OUT!
Mike Tenay: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Badlandz, and if you want a big night… We're going to deliver!
Brooklyn Brawler: Oh yeah, Tenay! When you hear about action packed nights, this is what people are talking about!
Mike Tenay: There's no question that this truly is the paradigm of action! We've got a Badlandz World Title Match, a Badlandz Tag Team Title Match, and the first ever Badlandz No Limits Title Match!
Brooklyn Brawler: Tenay, this night should be off the hook! No other way to put it, and there's no reason to even try!
"ENTER SANDMAN" BY METALLICA HITS AND THE CROWD COMES TO THEIR FEET! WE OPEN UP THE NIGHT WITH SANDMAN HOLDING HIS SINGAPORE CANE IN THE SKY AS HE WALKS DOWN THE STEPS IN THE CROWD! THE DUDLEY BOYZ ARE QUICK TO FOLLOW HIM DOWN. SANDMAN HOLDS UP HIS SINGAPORE CANE BEFORE OPENING UP A CAN OF BEER AND GUZZLING IT DOWN. SANDMAN STANDS UP ONTO THE GUARDRAIL, SMASHES THE BEER CAN AGAINST HIS HEAD, AND SPITS HIS BEER ALL OVER THE CROWD! THE DUDLEYZ AND SANDMAN GET INTO THE RING AS THEY AWAIT THEIR OPPONENTS.
Brooklyn Brawler: Alright, can we get to the winners of the match?
Mike Tenay: Considering this match has yet to even start, I'd say that's a pretty bold prediction! The Sandman and The Dudley Boyz are masters of the hardcore match, so this match is right up their alley!
Brooklyn Brawler: And the FBI can dish out some punishment, so let's get this started!
"NO SLEEP TIL' BROOKLYN" BY THE BEASTIE BOYS HITS AND THE CROWD COMES TO THEIR FEET ONCE AGAIN, BUT THIS TIME IN BOOS. JOHNNY STAMBOLI, CHUCK PALUMBO, AND BIG VITO COME TO THE RING, WITHOUT THEIR LEADER NUNZIO, WHO IS STILL FEELING THE EFFECTS OF THE SANDMAN'S ATTACK. THE FBI STOP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RAMP AND STARE UP AT THE THREE HARDCORE LEGENDS, BEFORE SLIDING INTO THE RING AND GETTING THE MATCH UNDERWAY.
The match starts out fast, and The Dudleyz and The Sandman are right at home! They each are quick to pound into the Italians with their fists before throwing them out of the ring and following them to the outside. D-Von and Bubba go after Stamboli and Vito, as D-Von takes it to Vito with numerous right hands before throwing him head first into the steel guardrail. Bubba has a tougher time with Stamboli, who begins to overpower Bubba and throws him into the steel ring steps before hitting a Running Kick on Bubba's head, right into the ring post! Sandman, on the other hand, is manhandling Chuck Palumbo with his Singapore Cane in hand! Sandman has already broken the Cane open on Palumbo's forehead, breaking the skin there and causing Palumbo to bleed! Sandman begins to choke out Palumbo with his Singapore Cane, but he gets suddenly taken out by a Steel Chair shot to the back from Johnny Stamboli! Stamboli proceeds to beat down Sandman with the Chair, then picking him up and throwing him back into the ring. Stamboli uncharacteristically goes up to the top rope, before coming off with a Flying Shoulder Block to take out Sandman! The crowd surprisingly applauds Stamboli's efforts, but he is immediately floored by The Dudley Boyz who hit him with a 3D! The crowd goes wild, but Palumbo and Vito get back into the ring and take it to the Dudleyz with kicks to the gut and punches. They Irish Whip the Dudleyz simultaneously, but receive stereo Jumping Clotheslines! The crowd goes wild and gets behind the Dudleyz, who takes it to Vito and Palumbo. Bubba hits his signature two-punch, crotch-grab, Bionic Elbow combination on Vito, while D-Von backs Palumbo into the corner for a 10-punch count! Palumbo's forehead is now bleeding very heavily, and it doesn't get any better when Sandman comes in and crushes him with a Garbage Can Lid! Vito runs over at Sandman, but gets a shot to the ribs from the lid. Bubba proceeds to lift Vito onto his shoulders, as D-Von climbs up to the top rope. The crowd comes to their feet as D-Von flies off the top rope to complete the Dudley Device! Sandman instantly goes into the cover, but Palumbo and Stamboli comes in and break up the pin! Stamboli crushes Bubba with a knee to the ribs and then throws him shoulder first into the ring post! Palumbo goes after D-Von, and puts him down with a huge Samoan Drop! Sandman is the last one to go after, as he fires off punches to Palumbo, but gets flattened by Stamboli with his Sickle Lariat! Stamboli lifts up Sandman, and then lifts Sandman up into a Gorilla Press Slam. Stamboli drops Sandman down, but then catches him and slams him with a Powerslam to complete the Fuh-Get-About-It! Stamboli hooks Sandman's inside leg and gets the 1… 2… 3!
Mike Tenay: Wow! Talk about impressive, Brawler! The FBI came out here tonight, and beat three of the greatest hardcore wrestlers of all time in their own back yard!
Brooklyn Brawler: What'd I tell you, Tenay? These guys are the real deal! And if anybody gets in their way, bet your asses that they'll have hell to pay!
Mike Tenay: Nice little rhyme, Brawler. But we… What's this?
WHILE THE FBI ARE CELEBRATING IN THE RING, "I'M BACK!" HITS AND ERIC BISCHOFF COMES OUT TO THE STAGE WHERE HE RECEIVES NOTHING BUT BOOS. HE'S QUICK TO QUIET THE CROWD AND PUT THE MICROPHONE TO HIS LIPS…
Eric Bischoff: Johnny Stamboli, Chuck Palumbo, Big Vito… Bravo! That was fantastic, and you've earned yourselves a spot in a very big match tonight. How big? Let's just say, it's new title big.
THE FANS LOOK ON IN ANTICIPATION, AS BISCHOFF REALIZES HE HAS THE CROWD IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND.
Eric Bischoff: That's right, ladies and gentlemen… Tonight we're going to have the inception of the TWF Television Title! And the way we're going to figure out who is the first Television Champion, is by having a Ten Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal! And the participants? That's simple… You win tonight, and you're in! So to everyone on tonight's card… Good luck, and hopefully you'll earn yourselves a spot.
COMMERCIAL BREAK. A TRAILER FOR "FORGET YOU SARAH MARSHALL" IS SHOWN. A TRAILER FOR "MY MOM'S NEW BOYFRIEND" IS SHOWN STARRING MEG RYAN AND ANTONIO BANDERAS.
WE RETURN FROM THE COMMERCIAL BREAK TO SEE BOOKER T IN THE BACK.
Booker T: Yo I ain't got much time, so I'll just keep this short. Eric Bischoff designed this card and left Booker T off of it, and I can't dig that. But what I can dig is that I will leave my mark tonight. Whether you expect it or not, I'm gon' make somebody regret ever pissin' me off… Now can you dig THAT… SUCKAAA!
BOOKER WALKS OUT OF THE PICTURE AND WE HEAD BACK TO RINGSIDE WHERE WE PREPARE FOR A NO LIMITS DIVISION DISPLAY MATCH.
Mike Tenay: Well the next match was going to be a No Limits Division Display Match, but it's much more than that now… It's a match that will earn you a spot in the Television Title Battle Royal Match later tonight!
"CLAVICLE" BY ALKALINE TRIO HITS AND THE CROWD COMES TO THEIR FEET IN APPROVAL OF THE FIRST OF TWO OPPONENTS, MATT SYDAL!
Mike Tenay: And Brawler, this guy showed us just how good of a talent he is last time on Badlandz!
Brooklyn Brawler: How? By losing? He's okay, Tenay… But nothing until he wins!
Mike Tenay: Good argument, Brawler… But you can't deny his skills.
"HYBRID STIGMATA" BY DIMMU BORGIR HITS AND THE CROWD ONCE AGAIN COMES TO THEIR FEET, GIVING A HUGE CHEER FOR THE STRANGE, BUT TALENTED, DELIRIOUS!
Mike Tenay: And what a debut Delirious had, Brawler! Even though he was also a loser in that Fatal 4 Way Match, he showed us just how much potential he has!
Brooklyn Brawler: This little guy scares me, Tenay. I don't really know how he has all of the energy that he does, but I guess whatever works for him…
The bell rings and Sydal approaches Delirious to lock up… But Delirious suddenly flips out and starts rolling around the ring, diving at Sydal's legs, and spinning on the ropes! Delirious drops down to the outside of the ring, runs around the ring, doing a somersault in the process, and then rolls back into the ring once again. The crowd laughs hysterically at Delirious' action, and Sydal can't help but laugh and applaud as well. The two circle the ring and this time, they have a successful lock-up. Delirious gets the control early on with a headlock on Sydal, but is able to flip Delirious over with a Belly to Back Suplex that shakes the ring! The crowd applauds Sydal, who is quick to run at Delirious and hit an incredible Standing Moonsault! Sydal hooks the outside leg and gets a 1… 2… No! It was close, but no early victory for Sydal. Delirious shakes off the cob-webs, and attempts to get to his feet, but Sydal takes it to him with a few kicks to the stomach before Irish Whipping him and hitting a Feint Enziguri Hurricanrana! Delirious goes flying across the ring and ends up face first on the turnbuckle. Sydal takes this opportunity to run at Delirious and hit an incredible Spinning Roundhouse Kick to the back of Delirious! Sydal rolls him up for the pin and gets the 1… 2… Another kick out! Sydal can't believe it, but he stays on the offensive and climbs up to the top rope. Sydal calls for something big, but Delirious is able to get to the top rope and punch Sydal right in the throat! Delirious climbs to the top rope and hits an awe-inspiring Modified Fisherman Driver off of the top rope on Sydal! The crowd goes crazy as both men are out on the mat, as the non-stop action continues. Delirious suddenly gets a burst of energy and jumps to his feet as the crowd applauds the little guy, who runs off the ropes and hits a Running Senton on Sydal. Delirious picks up M.S. and throws him off the ropes before hitting him with a Leaping Lariat that draws a huge "BAM!" from Delirious' mouth! The crowd is amused and entertained by Delirious, who continues to put a licking on Sydal with Dropkick after Dropkick after Dropkick after Dropkick… Which he finally finishes up with, yes, a Dropkick. Delirious sees Sydal now catching his breath on all fours, which leads to him climbing to the top rope and coming off with a Body Press onto Sydal's back, a move he calls Shadows Over Hell! Delirious rolls Sydal over and hooks the inside leg to get the 1… 2… NO! Sydal is just able to kick out and the fans are in absolute shock! Delirious waits for Sydal to stand up, and then run at him, only to get tossed over the top rope! Sydal proceeds to climb up to the top rope and hit a death-defying Moonsault Plancha to the outside of the ring onto Delirious! The crowd begins a "holy shit!" chant as Sydal lifts Delirious up, and throws him back into the ring. Sydal gets up onto the ring apron where he amazes the crowd yet again by hitting a Springboard 360 Corkscrew Moonsault, a move he calls the Double Helix! He hooks the inner leg and gets the 1… 2… No! Delirious somehow kicks out, yet again! Sydal can't believe this, and goes to the ring apron to try it again, but is met in mid-air by a Dropkick from Delirious! Delirious lifts Sydal up and goes for the Chemical Imbalance II, a Double Pumphandle Wheelbarrow Driver, but Sydal gets out and hits a Pumphandle Half Nelson Driver to counter, a move he calls the Here It Is Driver! Sydal gets up and quickly climbs to the top rope where he comes off the top with a Shooting Star Press to get the 1… 2… 3!
Match Time: 18:07
Mike Tenay: What a match! What an incredible match! And for Matt Sydal, what an incredible win!
Brooklyn Brawler: I can't deny that, Tenay! Both men went all out, and unfortunately only one can be called the winner!
Mike Tenay: Maybe so, but both men just earned complete respect from me! Matt Sydal has advanced to the 10-Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal, but after that masterpiece of a match, I don't know what he'll have left!
COMMERCIAL BREAK. A TRAILER FOR HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE GUANTANAMO BAY IS SHOWN. A COMMERCIAL FOR BLEACH IS SHOWN.
WE RETURN FROM THE COMMERCIAL AND ARE RIGHT BACK AT RINGSIDE WHERE WE'RE GETTING READY FOR A HUGE FATAL FOUR WAY.
Mike Tenay: Up next, we’ve got what I call simply OUTRAGEOUS! Why? Because it’s simply disgusting to even be made! A three on one handicap match between the team of Marcus Cor Von, Test, and A-Train… Against Val Venis!
Brooklyn Brawler: Well, Val Venis shouldn’t have messed around with Marcus Cor Von! Now… He’s getting what he deserves.
Mike Tenay: That’s true, but what’s even more true… The man who gets the pinfall, he advances to the Battle Royal tonight for the Television Championship!
Brooklyn Brawler: Eh, I think this is fair! I mean, Venis had a problem with all three of these guys… So now he gets the chance to settle it!
All four men are already in the ring as the camera hits ringside, but before the bell can ring, Cor Von, Test, and A-Train have thrown Venis to the outside of the ring! Test and A-Train pummel Venis with kicks to the gut, while Cor Von goes underneath the ring and grabs a wooden table. Cor Von lifts Venis up immediately, throwing him face first into the ring steps as T & A set up the table. Once the table is set up, Cor Von lifts Venis into his arm, tosses him up onto his shoulders, and slams Venis through the table with an Alpha Bomb! The trio celebrates on the outside, but Cor Von sneakily rolls Venis into the ring and gets a quick 1… 2… 3!
Match Time: 2:18
Mike Tenay: Wow! What an absolute mugging!
Brooklyn Brawler: No… What great teamwork! But forget all of that, Tenay… Cor Von better get the hell out of there!
COR VON IMMEDIATELY EXITS THE RING AND RUNS UP THE RAMP AS TEST AND A-TRAIN ARE INFURIATED AT THE FACT THAT HE JUST PINNED VENIS INSTEAD OF THEM! COR VON SCREAMS THAT IT’S ALL ABOUT THE TITLE, BUT THAT DOESN’T SEEM TO CALM THEM DOWN AS THEY CHASE HIM TO THE BACK…
WE HEAD TO THE LOCKERROOM WHERE JOSH MATTHEWS IS STANDING BY WITH “THE PHENOMENAL” AJ STYLES.
Josh Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with AJ Styles. And later on tonight AJ, you’re going to be facing Raven and Kane for the TWF Badlandz World Title… Any comments?
AJ Styles: To be honest, Josh… There’s nothing to even say. I’ve been waiting for this opportunity my entire life, and I’ll be damned if I let it pass me by. Raven got into this match without even earning it, and for that, he’s the guy I’m looking to take out first. And then, when it’s just me and Kane… Heh… Well, lets see who the best man truly is. Not that long ago, I raised that Badlandz World Title above my head. And just a little while later, I’m going to do it again… Except this time I’ll raise it in victory. Kane, I’ve got a load of respect for you… But nothing gets between me and championship gold. Not even friendship. So Kane, Raven, get ready to experience something truly… Phenomenal!
WE HEAD BACK TO RINGSIDE WHERE WE’RE SET FOR THE NO LIMITS DISPLAY MATCH BETWEEN COLT CABANA AND CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI.
Mike Tenay: And this right here… This should be good.
Brooklyn Brawler: Eh, these No Limits guys are O.K…. I mean, I could do this if I wanted to.
Mike Tenay: Oh, that would be the day…
Winner: Claudio Castagnoli via Ricola Bomb
Winners: Homicide & Chris Jericho via Cop Killa to Bull Buchanan
The bell rings and Elix Skipper starts off with The Outlaw, a clear mismatch in size. Then again, any match up in this match would be, as Steiner and The Outlaw have inches and pounds on both members of Triple X. Skipper isn’t quick to back down, though, as he walks right up to Outlaw and slaps him across the face! Outlaw can’t believe this and tries to grapple with Skipper, but Skipper ducks and comes back with a Jumping Neckbreaker! Primetime hooks the outside leg looking for the early victory, but Outlaw easily kicks out of the pinning predicament at 2. Skipper stays on Outlaw with clubs to the back and kicks to the face, and then runs off of the ropes for a Knee Drop, but Outlaw stands up and slams him to the mat with a devastating Spinebuster! Outlaw shakes off the cobwebs and then picks Skipper up, dragging him towards his corner, and tagging in Steiner. Big Poppa Pump waits for Outlaw to get Skipper in an Abdominal Stretch, and then fires away with two punches to the open abdomen. Steiner taunts Skipper, slapping his head twice, before tossing him over his head with a beautiful T-Bone Suplex. Skipper grabs the small of his back as Low-Ki anxiously awaits the tag in, but Steiner is all over Skipper, lifting him up and then throwing him down to the mat with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Steiner covers Skipper, who is limp on the mat, but Primetime somehow kicks out! Steiner can’t believe it, but simply does his signature Elbow Drop across Skipper’s chest, followed by a few push-ups to wow the crowd. Steiner tells us that it’s over, and flips Skipper over for the Steiner Recliner! After doing his signature arms out taunt, Steiner reached down for Skipper… But Skipper got free and up to his feet! When Steiner turned around, Skipper plants him with the Instant Replay! The crowd is going insane as both men crawl towards their corners for a tag. Steiner tags in Outlaw, but Primetime gets to Low-Ki at the same time! Low-Ki hops through the ropes and runs at Outlaw as Outlaw runs at him, then ducks a Clothesline, and comes back with a Springboard Enziguiri! Steiner gets up and runs at Low-Ki, but Primetime is able to come out of nowhere and hit him with a Spinning Heel Kick! Low-Ki begins to go to work on Outlaw with kick after kick to the chest before following him with a kick to the spine that could be heard throughout the arena! Low-Ki covers Outlaw, but only gets a two count. Low-Ki lifts Outlaw up, and kicks out his legs and hits a Standing Moonsault! The crowd goes wild as the referee counts the 1… 2… NO! Steiner broke up the three count, and gets in a few extra boots on Low-Ki. Outlaw lifts Ki up, and then out of nowhere hits him with the One and Only! The crowd knows it’s over as referee Brian Hebner counts the 1… 2… 3… NO! Elix Skipper walked the ropes and hit a Ring Rope Leg Drop just in time! Outlaw runs towards Skipper for a Big Boot, but Skipper gets out of the way with his signature Matrix Evasion! The crowd is in shock as Outlaw turns around into a stiff Roundhouse Kick from Low-Ki! Outlaw is out on his feet as Primetime lifts him up and BAM! Plants him with the Play of the Day! Then Low-Ki comes off of the top rope with the Warrior’s Way and BAM! Lands right across Outlaw’s chest! Low-Ki and Skipper both cover Outlaw at the same time as the referee registers the 1… 2… 3 and we have NEW Badlandz Tag Team Champions!
Match Time: 14:56
Mike Tenay: They did it! Triple X has won the Badlandz Tag Team Championships!
Brooklyn Brawler: I… I don’t believe this. The most dominant tag team in the TWF just.. Just..
Mike Tenay: Let me help you out, Brawler… They LOST! That’s right folks, we have new Badlandz Tag Team Champions… What a match!
Claudio Castagnoli and Chuck Palumbo match up early on, exchanging holds before Castagnoli gets the upper hand with a quick European Uppercut to the jaw. Castagnoli proceeds to hit two more, followed by a back elbow and a nicely done Suplex. Castagnoli goes for the pin, but realizes it's over the top rope eliminations, so he lifts Palumbo up and attempts to throw him to the outside, but the two of them are now both hung up on the top rope. They battle each other with right fists before the next entrant comes running down to the ring… Homicide! Homicide comes in with his flap jack and hits Castagnoli right in the head! Double C falls to the mat with a hard thud and we have our first elimination. Palumbo tries to fight back with two punches, but he gets a shot to the head as well! Palumbo, however, is stuck up on the apron. As soon as Palumbo gets to his feet, Homicide runs over and hits a Gringo Cutter against the ropes! Palumbo falls to the outside and our second participant is gone. As soon as Homicide turns around, however, our next participant is already in the ring and it's Low-Ki! Ki crushes him with a spinning back kick to the jaw, as Homicide goes down hard. Ki and Homicide trade shots at each other for a while before the next participant comes out… And it's Marcus Cor Von. Cor Von comes out and immediately Pounces Low-Ki into the turnbuckle! He then goes after Homicide and hits a nicely placed Double Underhook Suplex! Cor Von then lifts Homicide up and throws him over the top rope, but Homicide is just able to hold on. The next participant comes out, and it's Big Vito. Vito comes in, runs at Cor Von, and gets lifted right into the air with a Gorilla Press Slam! Cor Von walks towards the ropes and then dumps Vito to the outside! Cor Von continues to dominate Low-Ki and Homicide until Elix Skipper is the next to come out! He and Low-Ki team up and take on both Homicide and Cor Von, overwhelming them with their team work. Skipper and Low-Ki both proceed to climb to the top rope to attempt their finishing moves, but it proves deadly for the new Tag Team Champions as both Cor Von and Homicide are able to get up and knock Triple X to the outside of the ring! Cor Von and Homicide both attempt to catch their breath as they await the next participant… Who is none other than Y2J… Chris Jericho! Jericho hits the ring with confidence and takes it to Cor Von first with two forearms to the face, before stepping back and connecting with a hard Enziguri! Homicide runs over at Jericho, but Y2J ducks, and is able to hit a beautiful German Suplex! Homicide rolls around the ring, feeling the pain, but Cor Von is up and runs at Jericho… Only to receive the Codebreaker! Y2J proceeds to get up and clothesline his partner, Homicide, over the top rope as the second to last participant's music hits… And it's Johnny Stamboli! The Italian hits the ring, and hits it hard as he destroys Y2J with a Sickle Lariat! Stamboli gets up and then Powerslams Cor Von! Stamboli proceeds to pick Y2J up and throw him over the top rope… But Jericho holds on! Stamboli sees this and runs at Jericho, but Cor Von cuts him off with the Pounce! Jericho uses this time to do an uncharacteristic Springboard and then take out Cor Von with a Missile Dropkick! Cor Von nearly goes over the top rope, but hangs on. It's just Jericho and Stamboli in the ring now, as Stamboli is just getting to his feet. The two men meet in the middle of the ring, but Stamboli easily overpowers Jericho. Stamboli hits shoulder block after shoulder block on Y2J until he finally lifts Jericho up to throw him over the top rope. Just then, however, the final participant in the match, Matt Sydal, hits the ring and Stamboli drops Jericho to the mat. Stamboli awaits Sydal's entry, but isn't ready for what he gets, as Sydal hits Stamboli with an incredible Springboard Hurricanrana! Jericho gets to his feet just as Stamboli goes down and runs at Sydal, but Sydal ducks Y2J's Clothesline attempt, positions Y2J for a Reverse DDT, but then drops his leg across Jericho's chest and takes him to the mat! Sydal gets up and spins right into a devastating Spear from Johnny Stamboli! Stamboli then goes right for Jericho, placing two boots in his stomach before lifting him up and hitting a crushing Belly to Belly Suplex! Stamboli gets up and goes towards Sydal, but Sydal crawls through Stamboli's legs and is able to jump up to the top rope, and come back with a Moonsault! Stamboli is able to catch Sydal on his shoulder though and goes to throw Sydal over the top rope, only to have Marcus Cor Von come out of nowhere and Pounce Stamboli, knocking him over the top rope as Sydal just holds on to the top ring rope! The crowd goes wild as it's down to Jericho, Cor Von, and Sydal, who are all down on their knees trying to catch their breaths. Matt Sydal is the first to his feet as he runs at Jericho and hits him with a right Forearm Smash to the face! Jericho comes back with a forearm of his own, and the two men trade forearm shots before they both run off of the ropes and both go for a Spinning Wheel Kick, but each catches nothing but air! They get to their feet, and Cor Von levels each of the men with stereo Clotheslines. The action doesn't stop, as Y2J kicks Cor Von in the stomach to get him off, before irish whipping him and hitting a Sleeper Slam followed by a Lionsault! Jericho sees that this is his opportunity and lifts Cor Von to his feet before calling for the end. Before Jericho can throw Cor Von out of the ring, Sydal runs over and hits the Here We Go Driver out of nowhere! The crowd is going crazy as Sydal lifts Jericho to his feet and tosses him over the top rope! Sydal throws his hands in the air, but Marcus Cor Von comes over and absolutely rocks him with a stiff kick to the jaw! Sydal flies through the ropes onto the ring apron as Cor Von begins to put pressure on him with a boot to the stomach. Sydal can barely hang on, but is able to jump up to his feet and catch Cor Von with a forearm to the face! Sydal then springboards up to the top ring rope, grabbing Cor Von’s head with his legs, and tossing him to the outside with a Hurricanrana!
13:46
Mike Tenay: Oh my god! Matt Sydal has done it! In just his third match in the TWF, he has done it! Matt Sydal is the first ever TWF Television Champion!
Brooklyn Brawler: That was robbery, Tenay! Plain robbery! Marcus Cor Von should've won that match, and Sydal took a shortcut!
Mike Tenay: Call it what you want, Brawler… But Matt Sydal has made history!
SYDAL IS STILL IN SHOCK AS THE REFEREE COMES INTO THE RING TO RAISE HIS HAND AND HAND HIM THE TWF TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP! "CLAVICLE" BY ALKALINE TRIO BLARES THROUGHOUT THE ARENA AS SYDAL DROPS TO HIS KNEES AND HOLDS THE TV TITLE UP IN THE AIR. THE SCENE FADES TO A COMMERCIAL AS SYDAL CELEBRATES…
COMMERCIAL BREAK.
The bell rings and all three men stand at their separate turnbuckles, awaiting one of the others to make a move. Raven is the first to go, as he steps up and does his signature arms-out taunt… But that just draws two punches to the face from Kane and Styles, knocking him to the mat and making him roll to the outside of the ring. Raven slams his hands on the announcers table in frustration, but as soon as he turns around, he’s taken out by a Fosbury Flop! AJ lands on his feet, but Raven is laid out on the floor, giving AJ time to beat his chest twice before extending his arms and screaming “Now THAT’S what I call Phenomenal!” The crowd goes absolutely wild for AJ, agreeing with his every word. Styles proceeds to lift Raven up and throw him face first into the announcers table, before dragging him towards the ring… Only to have Kane shock the crowd and takes both men out with a diving cross body to the outside of the ring! Raven looks to be knocked out cold, and Styles has the wind knocked out of him, as Kane gets up and gets a sick smile on his face, only to grab Raven and toss him back into the ring. Kane steps over the top rope and into the ring, stalking Raven. As soon as Raven gets up, Kane places a hand around his throat, lifting him in the air, and slamming him down with a THUNDEROUS Chokeslam from Hell! The crowd goes wild as Kane is about to pin Raven, but AJ Styles comes out of nowhere with a Pele Kick, knocking Kane out on his feet! AJ hooks Kane for a Styles Clash, and nails it right on top of Raven! AJ rolls Kane out of the way, and covers Raven for the 1… 2… 3!
