DARK MATCH
The former Intercontinental, European, and Raw Tag Team Champion, Billy Gunn, showed that last week's lost was just a minor set back. Nunzio got in some offense with dropkicks and forearms, but Gunn changed the pace when he leveled Nunzio with a decapitating clothesline. After Gunn hit a stalling vertical suplex, that gave him time to hit the Fame-Asser. Gunn wasn't done, and lifted Nunzio up and put him down one more time with the One and Only getting the easy victory, his first as a Badlandz superstar.
"BIG THINGS POPPIN" BY T.I. HITS AND A VIDEO IS SHOWN SHOWCASING THE BADLANDZ SUPERSTARS.
Mike Tenay: Welcome to Badlandz! We are in Phoenix, Arizona, and ladies and gentlemen, if last week is any sign... Badlandz is most definately not going to be the D-brand for long!
Brooklyn Brawler: For long, Tenay? We already aren't after last week! And what a night tonight is going to be, too! We've got four more Tournament Matches, and The Dudley Boyz face T & A for the Badlandz Tag Team Championships... In a Steel Cage!
Mike Tenay: You've got that right, Brawler. But not only that, but we've got Kane teaming with America's Most wanted to take on the FBI. But right now we've got a first round tournament match that should turn a lot of heads, "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles versus "The Notorious 187" Homicide!
"COP KILLA" BY ICE-T HITS AND HOMICIDE COMES OUT TO A WAVE OF BOO'S BUT HE JUST SHAKES IT OFF AS HE SEEMS VERY CONFIDENT, BORDER-LINE COCKY, COMING DOWN TO THE RING. HOMICIDE ROLLS INTO THE RING AND HOPS UP ONTO THE TURNBUCKLE AND BEGINS TO THROW UP GANG SIGNS BEFORE HOPPING DOWN.
Brooklyn Brawler: Tenay, last week Homicide and Marcus Cor Von made fools out of AJ Styles and D'Lo Brown... Which is exactly what they'll do tonight in their respective matches!
Mike Tenay: Made fools? Is that a joke?! That was a very hard fought match by both sides, and if it wasn't for Cor Von and Homicide cheating, I think AJ and D'Lo would've pulled out a win!
Brooklyn Brawler: Whatever you say, Tenay. These are the matches that really count... The Badlandz Title Tournament Matches!
"I AM" HITS AND AJ STYLES COMES OUT TO A HUGE CHEER AS HE SMILES AND SOAKS UP ALL OF THE LOVE BEING GIVEN TO HIM. AJ WALKS DOWN TO THE RING VERY CONCENTRATED AS HE SLAPS HANDS WITH SOME OF THE FANS AT RINGSIDE. AJ GETS INTO THE RING AND DOES HIS SIGNATURE ARM SPREAD TAUNT BEFORE STARING AT HOMICIDE AS HE AWAITS THE BELL TO RING.
AJ immediately goes for a small package and nearly gets the pin but Homicide is out at two. AJ stays on offense and hits Homicide with a Tornado DDT that spikes him to the mat, but Homicide lands back on his feet and hits AJ with a Sambo Suplex. Homicide goes to the ring apron and then jumps onto the ropes to hit Styles with a Springboard Leg Drop. Homicide taunts to the crowd, drawing boos from all over, but AJ somehow is able to get up and hit Homicide with a Crucifix Head Scissors Takedown. Homicide rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, but AJ awes the crowd with a Springboard Shooting Star Press to the outside, taking out Homicide! Styles rolls Homicide back into the ring, but Homicide gets a poke to the eye in followed by a T-Bone Suplex. Homicide kicks AJ in the back and then picks AJ up, only to grab Styles' head and slam AJ backfirst onto his knee. Homicide picks AJ back up and sets him up for Da Cop Killa, but AJ is able to drop out some how and hit Homicide with a Dropkick to the back. Styles hits a Crucifix DDT, and quickly follows with a Knee Drop across the face. Homicide struggles to his feet and once again goes for Styles' eyes with an eye rake followed by throwing AJ to the corner. Homicide attempts to hit a Rolling Powerbomb from the top rope, but AJ punches Homicide in the gut and goes up to the top rope with him. AJ hits the Superplex and both men are out on the mat, as the referee starts the 10 count. Both men are up at 9 and begin to trade forearms. Homicide runs off the ropes, but AJ jumps over him. Homicide comes back, but AJ ducks him now. Finally Homicide comes back and jumps up for a Clothesline, but AJ crushes him with a Dropkick. The crowd goes crazy as AJ locks Homicide in the Deathlock, and then bridges his body back and pulls on Homicide's neck. Homicide is able to reach the ropes, but AJ goes to the ring apron and hits a Flipping Senton across Homicide's stomach. Homicide again goes for the eyes, but AJ has it scouted well and kicks him in the gut before he can do anything, and then hits him with the Styles Clash, getting the pinfall, and moving on to the second round.
Mike Tenay: What a match!
Brooklyn Brawler: I give AJ Styles a lot of credit, my man, but just as much credit can go to Homicide for one hell of a match.
Mike Tenay: No pun intended, but that was simply phenomenal! AJ Styles has proven something tonight, Brawler, and that is that he is definately ready for the TWF Badlandz Championship!
Brooklyn Brawler: Do your lips hurt, Tenay? Because you're kissing his ass pretty hard.
COMMERCIAL BREAK. HYPE FOR THIS WEEK'S RAMPAGE. AN IMAGE HYPING BADLANDZ'S FIRST PAY-PER-VIEW, APOCALYPSE NOW, IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A SHORT VIDEO OF THE BADLANDZ SUPERSTARS.

THE SCENE RETURNS TO RINGSIDE AND THE FBI'S MUSIC HITS AS PALUMBO, VITO, AND STAMBOLI COME OUT, LED BY NUNZIO.
Brooklyn Brawler: Yes! These guys are great, Tenay... In my opinion, the greatest faction ever will be them by the end of their run!
Mike Tenay: I don't know about that, but they definately have found many ways to win.
Brooklyn Brawler: Just like they will tonight.
AMW'S MUSIC HITS AND THE TEAM OF CHRIS HARRIS AND JAMES STORM COMES OUT TO A GREAT REACTION.
Brooklyn Brawler: Psh, would you look at these chumps?
Mike Tenay: Oh yeah, Brawler... America's Most Wanted are definately chumps. Please, do me a favor, next time you say that make sure I'm not with you.
STORM AND HARRIS WALK DOWN TO THE RING BUT STOP RIGHT BEFORE THE RING APRON. SUDDENLY FIREWORKS GO OFF FROM THE STAGE AND RING AND "SLOW CHEMICAL" BY FINGER ELEVEN HITS AND KANE COMES OUT TO A STANDING OVATION.
Mike Tenay: I think it'll take every member of the FBI just to take out this man! Last week Kane Chokeslammed the 500 pound Big Show... Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is impressive!
Brooklyn Brawler: Yeah, and what's even more impressive is the fact that he's going to get whacked tonight by the FBI!
Big Vito and Kane start off the match, and Kane immediately gets the upper hand with a knee to the stomach followed by a scoop slam. Kane drops a Leg Drop across Vito's throat, then picks him up and puts him back down to the mat with an Oklahoma Slam. Kane picks Vito up, and wraps one hand around his throat, then lifts Vito up to Chokeslam him all the way to the outside of the ring! Johnny Stamboli and Chuck Palumbo come out of nowhere to then clothesline Kane out of the ring. But, as soon as they start to put the boots to Kane, Harris and Storm run over and go after the two Italians. Kane and Vito begin to brawl again on the outside of the ring, with Vito getting the upper hand at first with clubs to the back, but Kane threw Vito all the way into the crowd. Kane taunted to the crowd, but when he reached over to grab Vito, Vito threw someones beer in Kane's eyes. Vito rolled Kane back in and followed himself, immediately tagging in Chuck Palumbo. Palumbo went after Kane's head with right hand after right hand before getting up and taunting to the crowd. Palumbo stalks Kane, and then looks to have knocked Kane out cold with a Super Kick. He goes into the cover, but Kane somehow kicks out. Palumbo begins putting the boots to Kane, but Kane catches one, gets up, and then tosses Palumbo across the ring. Kane is able to get to the corner and tag in Chris Harris, who came in with a full head of steam and nearly knocked some teeth out of Palumbo's mouth with a devestating left hook. Harris goes up to the top rope and comes off with a Double Axe Handle to Palumbo, but right after he lands it, Johnny Stamboli hits him with a devestating Spear. Kane then comes in and lays Stamboli out with a Big Boot, but Vito runs at him, only to get a Super Kick from James Storm! Kane, Storm, Stamboli, and Vito take their brawl to the outside of the ring as Kane throws Vito face first into the ring steps. While this is all going on, Palumbo tries to pick up Harris, but Harris reverses it into a small package. The referee goes down for the count, and Harris gets the three. Palumbo is absolutely shocked as Harris puts his hands up in joy.
Brooklyn Brawler: Are you kidding me?!
Mike Tenay: Whacked, huh?! If you ask me, Kane dominated the entire FBI and America's Most Wanted did the same!
THE FBI MAKES THEIR WAY BACK TO THE RING TO CHECK ON PALUMBO AS KANE AND STORM CELEBRATE WITH HARRIS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING. SUDDENLY THE BIG SHOW GETS INTO THE RING WITH A STEEL CHAIR AND OUT OF NOWHERE HITS KANE OVER THE HEAD WITH IT. JAMES STORM THEN RUNS AT THE BIG SHOW, AND GETS THE SAME RESULT. HARRIS COMES UP FROM BEHIND AND HITS THE BIG SHOW WITH FOREARMS TO THE BACK FOLLOWED BY PUNCHES TO THE FACE BUT THE FBI TACKLES HIM TO THE GROUND AND PUTS THE BOOTS TO HIM. THE FBI LOOKS TO THE BIG SHOW FOR APPROVAL, BUT THE GIANT JUST LOOKS AT THEM AND THEY RUN FROM THE RING. KANE BEGINS TO STRUGGLE TO HIS FEET, BUT BIG SHOW PUTS HIM RIGHT BACK DOWN WITH A SHOWSTOPPER!
Brooklyn Brawler: Wow! Kane doesn't look that good now, does he?
Mike Tenay: That was an absolute mugging! But Big Show may have gotten the best of Kane here, but he can't stop Kane from kicking Booker T's teeth in next week!
Brooklyn Brawler: You sure about that, Tenay? You sure about that?
THE SCENE SHOWS UP BACKSTAGE WHERE JOSH MATTHEWS IS STANDING BY WITH "THE ALPHA MALE" MARCUS COR VON.
Josh Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm standing here with "The Alpha Male" Marcus Cor Von. And Marcus, up next you have a match against D'Lo Brown in the first round of the TWF Badlandz Title Tournament. Do you feel D'Lo Brown is a threat to your progression in this tournament?
Marcus Cor Von: A threat, Josh Matthews? A Threat? No, a threat to The Alpha Male's progression is wasting his time in this interview because, who knows, maybe The Alpha Male will get distracted by your ugly face and let D'Lo Brown capatalize on that.
Josh Matthews: Well, last week, although you did pin him, he did put up a pretty good fight along with AJ Styles...
Marcus Cor Von: This is why you're not tough enough, and Marcus Cor Von is the supreme human being. The Alpha Male understands that D'Lo Brown put up a fight, but you can fight as long as you want, and fight as hard as you want, but if you don't win, nothing else matters! If you remember, it was Marcus Cor Von who put him down with the En-Cor for the three count. And this week, it won't be any different.
Josh Matthews: That is true, but now the stakes are higher and...
Marcus Cor Von: And nothing! There is no if's, and's, or but's. All there is, is a Badlandz Championship that is begging The Alpha Male to take it. And if D'Lo Brown or anyone else thinks they can change fate, then you will be proven horribly wrong by feeling the POUUUNCEAH... Period!
"TAKE IT TO THE STREETS" HITS AND D'LO BROWN COMES OUT TO A PRETTY GOOD REACTION.
Brooklyn Brawler: If last week is any sign, this is going to be a walk-over win for Marcus Cor Von.
Mike Tenay: Oh please, if last week is any sign, then this will be a great match!
Brooklyn Brawler: A great match for Cor Von? Yeah, I agree.
"GO HARD OR GO HOME" BY LLOYD BANKS HITS AND MARCUS COR VON COMES OUT TO A BOO THAT SHAKES THE ARENA.
Brooklyn Brawler: And here comes greatness!
Mike Tenay: Calm down there, partner... You might have to get into the ring and face D'Lo Brown if he hears you, and I'm sure you are desperately hoping that doesn't happen.
Brooklyn Brawler: Funny, Tenay. Very funny...
As soon as D'Lo gets into the ring, Cor Von is all over him with knees to the gut and clubs to the back. Cor Von lifts Brown up and tosses him over his head with a fall away slam. Cor Von taunts to the crowd, giving D'Lo time to punch Cor Von in the gut and hit a Side Slam. D'Lo goes up to the top rope and takes Cor Von down with a Missile Dropkick. D'Lo goes into the cover, but Cor Von throws him off of him at 1. D'Lo runs at Cor Von and tries to stay on offense, but Cor Von crushes him with a Spinebuster. Cor Von picks D'Lo up and hits a Toss-Up Samoan Drop. Cor Von mounts D'Lo and begins hitting him with forearms across the face. D'Lo once again is able to fight back with punches to the gut of Cor Von, and then runs off the ropes, but Cor Von is able to hit The Pounce out of nowhere and get the 3-count.
Brooklyn Brawler: As I said, a walkover.
Mike Tenay: I have to give Marcus Cor Von credit, he just basically dominated the former TWF European Champion. But D'Lo gave it a fight Brawler, something you should be able to appreciate.
Brooklyn Brawler: Yeah, whatever.
THE SCENE GOES BACKSTAGE WHERE AJ STYLES IS STANDING BY WITH JOSH MATTHEWS.
Josh Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm standing by with "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles. And AJ, last week we saw you have a great tag team match against Homicide and Marcus Cor Von while teaming with D'Lo Brown. This week, you got revenge for a cheap win by Cor Von and Homicide, by beating Homicide and moving on to the second round. Now that it's official, what do you think about being able to get more revenge next week against Marcus Cor Von?
AJ Styles: I think that one thing is true, and that's that payback is a bitch! I am not going to say Cor Von can't get it done in the ring, or that Cor Von can't win, because he most definately can. But what I am going to say is this... Cor Von is good, but I'm Simply Phenomenal.
Josh Matthews: Well we'll be able to see who really is the better man next week. June 17th you took part in Guilty as Charged, Slaughterhouse's pay-per-view. At the pay-per-view, you lost to Christian Cole because of some underhanded tactics. What's going to be different this time around if you can earn another World Title shot, this time for the Badlandz Championship?
AJ Styles: That's easy Josh... I'm going to win. And if for some reason I don't win this tournament, I won't rest until I get the Badlandz Championship around my waist. Because this is a place where if you win, you get what you deserve. Not if you have a catchy name, or a good look... This is real wrestling. And Josh, Cor Von can bring his strength, agility, and whatever else he has up his sleeve, because he's not facing just another guy. No, he's facing The Phenomenal One, A... J... Styles!
STYLES WALKS AWAY FROM MATTHEWS AND YOU CAN HEAR THE FANS IN THE BACKGROUND CHEERING.
"IT'S PRIMETIME BABY" HITS AND "PRIMETIME" ELIX SKIPPER COMES OUT TO A MAJORITY OF BOO'S.
Mike Tenay: What's this?
Brooklyn Brawler: Uh, it's called a Badlandz Superstar... Ever heard of them?
Mike Tenay: Very funny, Brawler, very funny. I meant what is this, as in, why is Elix Skipper out here?
Brooklyn Brawler: Well, if you'd just shut up and listen we'd be able to find out.
SKIPPER GOES INTO THE RING AND GRABS A MICROPHONE.
Elix Skipper: Yo, this is complete crap! Last week, Val Venis beat me in an absolute fluke. That wanna-be "Primetime" Elix Skipper ain't got nuttin' on me. N' ya'll wanna know the truth? None of these cats backstage do! Ya'll don't believe me? Fine... I'll show you. Any one of ya'll losers backstage can come out and try to prove me wrong, but beware because right now ain't just some random time, it's Primetime baby!
SUDDENLY A FAMILIAR TUNE HITS AND ELIX SKIPPER'S FACE TURNS FROM COCKY TO SHOCKED. THE FANS COME TO THEIR FEET IN AN EXPLOSION OF CHEERS AS SKIPPER'S FORMER TRIPLE X PARTNER, LOW-KI, COMES OUT SHOCKING THE PHOENIX FANS. NEXT TO LOW-KI IS ERIC BISCHOFF WHO HAS A MICROPHONE IN HAND.
Eric Bischoff: Ladies and gentlemen... Recently called up from SMW, the newest Badlandz superstar... Low-Ki! And the fact that Badlandz has him is an example of a little something called... We are better. We are better than the d-show... Not going to throw any names out there, but I think you know what I'm talking about. Because we find talent, and use it... Not slaughter it, no pun intended. So from this day forward, Low-Ki is a Badlandz superstar. So, I'm not going to give you any suspense, seeing as Elix Skipper is here already and you two know each other already, lets get Low-Ki's Badlandz debut underway!
LOW-KI RUNS DOWN TO THE RING AS SKIPPER IS STILL IN SHOCK, BUT THE REF RINGS THE BELL ANYWAYS.
Low-Ki runs at Skipper and arm drags him over his rolling body, and as soon as Skipper gets up, Low-Ki hits Skipper with an arm twist into a leg drop to the shoulder. Low-Ki slapped the mat almost begging Skipper to get up. Skipper and Low-Ki lock up in the middle of the ring, and Low-Ki sweeps Skippers legs out from underneath him with a kick to the back of the ankles, followed by a Standing Moonsault. Low-Ki goes for the quick win, but only gets a count of two as Skipper gets his shoulder up. Low-Ki goes to pick Skipper up by the head, but Skipper uses an innovative Jawbreaker to change the pace. Skipper runs off the ropes and goes for a Standing Crossbody, but Low-Ki catches him on his shoulders and spins Skipper in the Airplane Spin, but Skipper gets a poke to Low-Ki's eyes to reverse it followed by a Belly to Belly Sideslam. Skipper taunts the fans and then waits for Low-Ki to get up, and then hits him with a Back Suplex. Skipper climbs to the top rope and comes off with a Forearm Takedown, but before he can hit it, Low-Ki levels him with a spinning kick to the stomach. Skipper seems to have gotten the wind knocked out of him, but Low-Ki picks him up anyway and throws him to the corner, directly followed by a knee to the face. Skipper rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, but Low-Ki comes right at him with a Suicide Dive. Ki throws him back in the ring and attempts a Spinning Heel Kick, but Skipper ducks it and then hits a running Neckbreaker. Skipper puts Low-Ki in a leg lock, trying to eliminate his biggest weapon, but Low-Ki reaches the ropes. Skipper holds the leg lock in until the 4 count of the referee, barely avoiding disqualification. Skipper then pummeled Low-Ki with knees to the head, followed by attempting a Leg Drop, but Low-Ki rolls away from the Leg Drop, and levels Skipper with a Roundhouse Kick right to the temple. Low-Ki covered the unconcious Skipper and got the three count to win his Badlandz debut.
Mike Tenay: Talk about a first impression!
Brooklyn Brawler: I like this guy, Tenay... Not only is he from Brooklyn, but he can kick some ass just like me!
Mike Tenay: Well I don't know about that comparison, but this young man has a very bright future here on Badlandz if he can perform the way he did tonight.
Brooklyn Brawler: Damn right about that, I mean, just look in the ring... Skipper is still knocked out!
Mike Tenay: He is, Brawler, but I hate to admit it... Skipper proved his point. He can go toe to toe with some of the best because this match right here was absolutely incredible!
THE CAMERA FADES TO A COMMERCIAL BREAK AS THE CAMERA ZOOMS IN ON LOW-KI.
COMMERCIAL BREAK. HYPE FOR THE BADLANDZ TITLE TOURNAMENT. A VIDEO SUMMARIZING PAYBACK IS SHOWN, SHOWING THE CHAMPIONS AND WINNERS AT PAYBACK. A VIDEO HYPING THIS WEEKS PRIMETIME IS SHOWN.
THE SCENE RETURNS AND MARK JINDRAK IS BACKSTAGE WARMING UP. RON "THE TRUTH" KILLINGS WALKS INTO THE PICTURE AND YOU CAN HEAR THE CROWD GO WILD, BUT JINDRAK IS NOT AS HAPPY.
Mark Jindrak: Can I help you?
Ron Killings: Listen, dawg. I ain't tryin'a get into ya business or none of that, not at all. But, uh... I done been in the wrestlin' business for a long ass time, and I know a diamond when I see one. You got a bright ass future, my dude, you just need to use yo' head.
Mark Jindrak: Use my head? Please! I know what the hell I'm doing here, Truth. I know that tonight I will show everyone what perfection really is... Me! So Scott Steiner, buddy of mine or not, you're going down! And Truth... Unlike you, I'm going to go on to the second round.
JINDRAK WALKS AWAY, AS KILLINGS JUST SHAKES HIS HEAD.
Ron Killings: Future so damn bright, but that brightness gon' turn to darkness pretty damn soon...
THE CAMERA SHOWS UP IN ERIC BISCHOFF'S OFFICE WHEN THE FBI BURSTS IN.
Eric Bischoff: Whoa, whoa, whoa! What the hell do you guys think you're doing in here?!
Nunzio: That was crap, Bischoff! You know it, I know it, and AMW knows it!
Eric Bischoff: Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. But what the hell are you doing bursting into my office like that?!
Big Vito: We want AMW again, Bischoff!
Johnny Stamboli: Yeah!
Nunzio: Johnny, let us do the talking. We want AMW as soon as possible, Eric. We don't care what kind of match it is, or where it is, but we want them back in that ring to teach them a lesson!
Eric Bischoff: Alright... If you want them so badly, I've got the perfect place... Los Angeles, California. Let me guess, you don't understand, Johnny Stamboli? Let me put this in simple terms... The Full Blooded Italians will take on America's Most Wanted... At Apocalypse Now! Now get the hell out of my office.
Nunzio: You will not be let down, Mr. Bischoff.
THE FBI WALKS OUT OF THEIR OFFICE AS BISCHOFF JUST SHAKES HIS HEAD.
SIRENS GO OFF AND THE CROWD BEGINS TO BOO BEFORE SCOTT STEINER EVEN COMES OUT.
Mike Tenay: Well... We've got our first match for Apocalypse Now!, Brawler!
Brooklyn Brawler: Yeah, and what a match it's gonna be. But about this match, Truth better stay out of Jindrak's way if he knows what's good for him..
Mike Tenay: Out of his way? The guy was trying to give him advice on how to be better!
Brooklyn Brawler: Why would someone perfect need advice? You should use your head, Tenay.
JINDRAK'S MUSIC HITS AS THE REFLECTION OF PERFECTION COMES OUT TO AN EQUAL AMOUNT OF BOOS AS STEINER GOT.
Steiner goes after Jindrak and throws the Reflection of Perfection over his head with a Belly to Belly. Steiner stays on Jindrak and continues his assault hitting a T-Bone Suplex followed by a Back Suplex. Steiner finishes his flurry of suplexes by hitting a Stalling Vertical Suplex. Steiner drops an elbow across Jindrak's chest, and does push-up's to disrespect him. Steiner waits for Jindrak to get up and runs at him, but Jindrak counters with a beautiful Dropkick. Jindrak knees Steiner in the gut and hits a Brainbuster and is able to cover Steiner, but only gets a two count. Steiner rakes Jindrak's eyes and powers Jindrak to the mat with a Powerslam. Steiner taunts to the crowd telling them that the match is over. Steiner waits for Jindrak to get up before kicking him in the gut and slamming him to the mat with the Complete Shot and gets the pinfall.
Mike Tenay: Well, hate to say I told you so, but uh... Guess Jindrak might wanna ask Truth for some of that advice after this one.
Brooklyn Brawler: Oh please, Tenay... The Reflection of Perfection just happened to face another perfect person, Scott Steiner. If you put Jindrak in the ring with anyone else, he'd win easily!
Mike Tenay: I think that many superstars will test that theory...
THE SCENE SHOWS UP BACKSTAGE WHERE THE DUDLEY BOYZ ARE STANDING WITH JOSH MATTHEWS.
Josh Matthews: Bubba, D-Von, up next you guys fight for your second reign as Tag Team Champions here in the TWF, first as Badlandz Tag Team Champions. Is this as nerve racking as when you won the Tag Team Championships before?
Bubba-Ray Dudley: You know what, Josh? I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I know you've had a long night interviewing a guy like Marcus Cor Von, and a youngster like AJ Styles... Me and my brother, D-Von, we have been mowing down the competition for years. We are the most experienced tag team in the TWF, something that can beat almost anything. But not only do we have experience in general, we have experience with our backs against the wall. We know we'll be inside of a Steel Cage with two giants. We know one is so hairy that he makes Chuck Norris look bald. We know one takes so many steroids that Rafael Palmeiro looks clean. But you know what? We don't care! The Dudley Boyz will go into that Steel Cage, and blood, rain, hail, sleet, or snow... We will walk out, or better yet, climb out... The new and first ever Badlandz Tag Team Champions!
D-Von Dudley: Oh my brother... TESTIFY!
THE SCENE GOES TO A COMMERCIAL BREAK AS D-VON AND BUBBA LOOK VERY SERIOUS.
COMMERCIAL BREAK. A VIDEO SUMMARIZING THE NIGHT SO FAR IS SHOWN. A VIDEO FOR PIZZA HUT IS SHOWN. A VIDEO FOR "COYOTE UGLY," ON AT 7 ET IS SHOWN.
THE SCENE GOES BACK TO RINGSIDE AND T&A'S MUSIC GOES OFF AS THE TWO GIANTS COME DOWN TO THE RING.
Mike Tenay: I never thought I'd say this, but I'd hate to be Test and A-Train because of who they're facing.
Brooklyn Brawler: Come on, Tenay! Everyone gets fired up for a few matches, it's no reason for Test or A-Train to be trembling or anything.
Mike Tenay: Yeah, but The Dudley Boyz aren't everyone! They are one of the most experienced, best tag teams ever.
"DROP THE BOMBSHELL" BY POWERMAN 5000 HITS AND THE DUDLEY BOYZ COME OUT TO A GREAT REACTION. THE TWO VETERANS WALK DOWN TO THE RING LOCKING EYES WITH TEST AND A-TRAIN. THE REFEREE RAISES THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE AIR AND THE BELL SOUNDS TO START THE MATCH.
Test and A-Train both look very cocky as the bell rings, but The Dudleyz are quick to knock the smirks off the face with Bubba and D-Von slapping the taste out of both men's mouths. Test reacts with a knee to D-Von's gut followed by throwing him face first into the steel cage. On the other side of the ring, A-Train runs at Bubba, but he's able to duck and rock A-Train back to the ropes with right hands followed by his signature crotch grab leading to a bionic elbow to the head. Bubba then lifts A-Train up and throws him off the ropes leading to a Powerslam followed by an elbow drop across the chest. Test runs over and hits Bubba from behind. Test lifts him up and begins grating his face into the Steel Cage like a cheese grater. D-Von goes to break it up, but gets a Bicycle Kick on the way. Bubba ends up getting busted open from this vicious attack by Test, but the fans love it and begin cheering and screaming for more blood. Test taunts to the crowd, but goes right back at Bubba with a knee to the side of the head. In the other corner, A-Train lifts D-Von up over his head into a Military Press, and throws him body first into the steel cage. With T & A dominating, Bubba pulls a Jawbreaker out of desperation followed by throwing Test face first into the Steel Cage over and over again. Bubba then hits Test with the Bubba Cutter, busting Test open as one half of the participants in this match are now covered with blood. D-Von struggles to his feet, but A-Train lifts him up by the throat and puts him right back down to the mat with the Derailer. A-Train begins to climb out of the ring and nearly gets to the top, but Bubba-Ray catches him and powerbombs him back down to the mat. Bubba fires up the crowd, but gets put down with a Big Boot by Test. D-Von runs at Test and hits him with a Spinning Lariat, followed by hitting A-Train with a Leg Drop. D-Von takes A-Train and throws him head first into the cage followed by unloading punch after punch until A-Train's face has become covered by a crimson mask. D-Von was only lucky to not be bleeding for a little while longer, because Test comes out of nowhere and hits D-Von with a Big Boot, making it so all four men have been busted open. With Test thinking he was the only one left standing, he begins to climb the Steel Cage, but Bubba-Ray catches up to him. Bubba puts Test in a Full Nelson and hits the Bubba Bomb from nearly half way up the Steel Cage! The crowd goes absolutely crazy as Test has been knocked out by the impact to the mat. A-Train then runs at D-Von, but D-Von lifts him up and Bubba comes out of nowhere to complete the 3D! Both of the Dudley Boyz are slow to climb the cage, but get to the top just as both Test and A-Train recover. The two big men climb the cage, but The Dudley Boyz are able to escape and become the first ever TWF Badlandz Tag Team Champions!
Mike Tenay: They've done it! The Dudley Boyz have won the TWF Badlandz Tag Team Championships!
Brooklyn Brawler: I'm speechless, Tenay. Bubba-Ray Dudley just Bubba-Bombed Test off of the Steel Cage!
Mike Tenay: Ladies and gentlemen, in only the second week of Badlandz, we've already got a classic on our hands!
Brooklyn Brawler: And you know what Tenay? I may not have picked them to win, but The Dudleyz have every reason to celebrate beating Test and A-Train.
Mike Tenay: And to think, this wasn't even our Main Event! Tough act to follow, if you ask me...
THE SCENE FADES TO A COMMERCIAL AS BUBBA-RAY AND D-VON GO INTO THE CROWD WITH THE BADLANDZ TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS TO CELEBRATE WITH THE FANS.
COMMERCIAL BREAK. HYPE FOR SLAUGHTERHOUSE. HYPE FOR EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND. TRAILER FOR TRANSFORMERS, NOW PLAYING.
THE SCENE COMES BACK AND VAL VENIS IS BACKSTAGE WALKING WHEN THE BIG SHOW COMES UP WITH A SERIOUS LOOK ON HIS FACE
Val Venis: Can I help you, Show?
Big Show: Yeah, you can, you porn-star failure. Get the hell out of my way!
Val Venis: Good one! Let me guess, you're an angry 500 pound giant who I don't want to mess with blah-dee-blah-dee-blah! Nobody cares about what you have to say, man! We're all in awe of your size and ability, I mean, who wouldn't be? But if you think that guys like me will just lay down and let you walk all over them... Think again!
Big Show: Yeah, is that the case? You know, I was going to make sure the world knew Kane's win was a fluke... But I've got some pretty big plans for you, Venis.
Val Venis: Hey, you know where to find me, Show.
VENIS AND BIG SHOW HAVE AN INTENSE STARE DOWN BEFORE VENIS SMIRKS AND WALKS AWAY.
Eric Bischoff: Listen up, because I've got something to say. Not only did I bring back Badlandz, but I brought it above d-show status in just one week. And later this month, we have Badlandz's first Pay-Per-View... Apocalypse Now!
THE CROWD YELLS IN APPROVAL OF THE FIRST PPV.
Eric Bischoff: But, as of right now, we've only got two matches, and one we don't even know who will be in it, and that's the Badlandz World Title Match. However, you all are in luck, because I've got to announce a match right now. This match will definately be a classic if it's anything like what we've just seen... Now, all credit they get is deserved, but The Dudley Boyz never pinned Test or A-Train. Therefore, in their first Tag Team Title defense, they will face T & A in a Tag Team Match at Apocalypse Now!
THE CROWD LOVES THE ANNOUNCEMENT AND ONCE AGAIN SCREAMS IN APPROVAL.
Eric Bischoff: So ladies and gentlemen, I'm Eric Bischoff... And you love me, whether you believe it or not.
A VIDEO SHOWING WHAT BULL BUCHANON DID TO CHRIS JERICHO LAST WEEK IN THE PARKING LOT IS SHOWN.
CHRIS JERICHO IS SEEN WALKING THROUGH THE PARKING LOT. JERICHO GETS TO HIS CAR AND IS ABOUT TO OPEN IT WHEN BULL BUCHANON HITS HIM FROM BEHIND. BULL SLAMS HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE CAR AND THEN THROWS HIM FACE FIRST THROUGH HIS CAR WINDOW. BUCHANON WALKS AWAY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK.
BULL BUCHANON'S MUSIC HITS AND THE BIG MAN COMES OUT TO THE LARGEST REACTION OF BOO'S ALL NIGHT.
Mike Tenay: Will you listen to this crowd, Brawler?! I can't even hear myself think with them booing this loud!
Brooklyn Brawler: What?! I can't hear you! Just kidding. Yeah, I mean, he did attack their beloved Chris Jericho, Tenay...
A COUNTDOWN FROM Y5J STARTS AS THE LIGHTS GO OUT. WHEN IT GETS DOWN TO Y2J THE SCREEN FLASHES AND SMOKE BEGINS TO RISE FROM THE STAGE. A MAN'S SILLOUHETTE CAN BE SEEN AND CHRIS JERICHO COMES OUT TO A DEAFENING CHEER FROM THE PHOENIX CROWD. JERICHO WASTES NO TIME AT ALL AS HE RUNS DOWN TO THE RING TO GO AFTER BUCHANON.
Jericho, filled with emotion from last week's brutal attack in the parking lot, goes right after Buchanon with Knife-Edge Chops. Buchanon is able to push Jericho off of him, but Jericho comes right back with forearms and more Knife-Edge Chops. Jericho is able to get Buchanon into a school boy, but Buchanon kicks out at two. Jericho runs at Buchanon again, but this time Bull hits him with a Flapjack. Bull lifts Jericho up onto his shoulders, and then does a somersault across the ring, crushing Jericho's ribs. Bull laughs and then begins to pummel Jericho's head, already cut open from last week's assault. Jericho struggles to his feet, but somehow finds the strength to hit Buchanon with an enziguri! The crowd gets to their feet as Jericho climbs up to the top rope. Jericho flies off the top with a Missile Dropkick, followed by a Lionsault! Jericho hooks the leg, but Buchanon somehow gets his shoulder up at two. Jericho looks to be in disbelief, but hits Bull with some Knife-Edge chops and then jumps onto his back and locks in a Sleeper Hold. Buchanon tries to throw Jericho over his head, and hit him into the turnbuckle to get him off, but Jericho hangs on. Bull is able to reach the ropes and gets a rope break, but Jericho jumps up onto his shoulders again, this time for a Hurricanrana. Bull catches Jericho however, and puts him down with a Spiral Bomb! Jericho looks to be out as he hit his already concussed head on the mat, so Buchanon goes into the cover. Somehow, Jericho is able to get his shoulder up just a split second before the referees hand was going to hit the mat. Buchanon looks irate, lifts Jericho and kicks him in the gut, then hits a Scissors Kick. Buchanon once again goes into the cover, and once again Chris Jericho is able to kick out. Buchanon can't believe it as he gets up in the referees face, but while he's arguing, Jericho rolls Buchanon up in a School Boy, but instead of pinning him, he gets up and locks in the Walls of Jericho! Buchanon struggles but reaches the rope, Jericho holds it in past the referees 5 count. The ref has no choice but to disqualify Y2J.
Mike Tenay: Chris Jericho has been disqualified, but I really don't think he cares!
Brawler: This is all about revenge, nothing to do with winning!
Mike Tenay: That may be the case, but this also means he loses in the Badlandz Title Tournament. And wait, I'm just hearing this in my earpiece... But at Apocalypse Now!, Test and A-Train will get a rematch for the Tag Team Championships! Ladies and gentlemen... What a night that's going to b... Wait, what the hell is this?!
JERICHO SEEMINGLY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT MATCH RESULTS AS HE KEEPS THE HOLD LOCKED IN, BUT OUT OF NOWHERE BOOKER T CRUSHES HIM OVER THE HEAD WITH A STEEL CHAIR, CAUSING JERICHO TO POUR BLOOD FROM HIS ALREADY CUT OPEN FOREHEAD. BOOKER LIFTS JERICHO UP, BUT THEN PUTS HIM BACK DOWN WITH A BOOKEND. BUCHANON THEN GOES UP TO THE TOP ROPE AND COMES OFF WITH A GUILLOTINE LEG DROP RIGHT ACROSS JERICHO'S THROAT! JERICHO IS LAYING UNCONCIOUS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AS THE SCENE FADES TO BLACK WITH BULL BUCHANON AND BOOKER T STANDING OVER HIS BLOODY BODY.
